    Overall the most amazing planning and decor!

    Sparkles is absolutely the best!! We used them for our rehearsal, welcome party, and wedding day and I could not have had my dream wedding weekend without them. They were all so responsive and easy to communicate with via email or text. They brought all of my exact visions to life and truly made my wedding day timeline perfect so that me and my family had zero stress and could enjoy the day. I truly could not recommend them more 💞

    The Sparkles team is incredible!!

    The Sparkles team is incredible!! Drew, our lead planner, truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day ever. With venue changes and figuring out logistics for our food truck, she remained flexible and positive and ended up putting together the most beautiful ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces that turned out better than we could have even imagined. Their team took care of booking the rentals, decor, and florals that we selected. They built our timeline and layouts and communicated the final timeline to our bridal party/family and vendors. The entire day ran so smoothly and seamlessly because of their hard work. This team exceeded our expectations for a “partial planning package” because they did so much more than that. We are so thankful for them!!

    Couldn’t have done it without Sparkles!

    Betty Anne was an amazing resource in the wedding planning process and the sparkles team made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of. I left the decorating up to the sparkles team and everything looked wonderful. I am so glad I used sparkles to help plan and coordinate my wedding.

    I love the Sparkles team!

    WOW! BA and the Sparkles team made my wedding day and the entire planning process an absolute dream. From helping me come up with a vision, to hopping on calls when I needed, to being flexible when I changed my mind on a decision we made (which happened a lot, especially the 2-3 weeks before the wedding), BA made me feel so comfortable and seen. Her team put together my dream wedding. I had no stress on my wedding day, and I credit a lot of that to the Sparkles team. I got married in Pawleys Island, SC, and BA helped me plan with the local vendors flawlessly. I cannot recommend this team enough.

    Rockstar wedding planner!

    If you are looking for an experienced wedding planner that knows her stuff, I highly recommend Sparkles and her team. I can't say enough complimentary things about Sparkles and her team. From day one she was so easy to work with and listened to what I wanted and then offered her professional opinion. I was immediately impressed with her organization and eye for detail. I loved every meeting with her at her warehouse. She has an amazing warehouse full of beautiful wedding decor.
    I was also a pandemic bride and rescheduled my wedding from June 2020 to May 2021. She was great about making that rescheduling process go as smoothly as possible during a stressful time. She also was great about helping me find new vendors during the re-scheduling process.
    The magic really happens on your wedding day. Sparkles and her team created the most elegant and whimsical wedding space at Founders Hall. Walking into our reception for the first time on our wedding day was so special and magical.

    Brought my vision to life!

    The team at Sparkles was absolutely wonderful to work with! They were very attentive and really got to know us and understand our vision for our wedding day and really brought our vision to life! On the day of they pulled everything together and kept everything running smoothly! Sparkles has a fantastic team and they worked so hard for us!

    Definitely Recommend!

    The crew at Sparkles did an absolute amazing job for our wedding!! They were always there to help us make decisions and provide suggestions when necessary. The event itself was beyond stunning....there are literally no words to describe it! Three months later and we still have people saying it was one of the most beautiful weddings they'd ever seen.
    We are so grateful for everything they did! I highly recommend Sparkles!!

    A Perfect Night

    Betty Anne and the Sparkles team were amazing to work with for our October wedding. From our first meeting I was blown away by how helpful and creative Betty Anne was. Throughout the entire wedding planning process she was a calming presence and I never felt that my wedding was not in good hands. Through the obstacles of having a COVID wedding, I never once feared because I knew BA and her team would figure out any issue that may arise. The day of our wedding was literally the best day of my life. They created a fairy tale that I never even thought was possible.
    Betty Anne made the extremely stressful task of wedding planning much more enjoyable and eased our concerns with her experience and insight. Her vendor recommendations blew us away and made our special night all the more magical. We never had any communication issues with Betty Anne, we always got prompt responses whenever we had questions or concerns. I could go on and on about how pleased my husband and I were with hiring Betty Anne as our wedding planner but to keep it short, I cannot recommend her services enough to anyone who is looking to make their dream wedding come true, no matter what your budget is!

    Yes to Sparkles!

    I cannot say enough good things about Sparkles!! They made having a wedding during the pandemic of covid 19 like it was no big obstacle! They recommend and booked our DJ and Photographer during our very first meeting. The Sparkles team is just simply awesome! All of our ideas for decor and flowers could not have turned out any better! All the guests and other vendors were even in awe of how beautiful and perfect everything was setup and decorated! They truly made our wedding day simple and painless!

    Above and beyond

    I don’t even knew where to begin with how happy we are with everything Betty Anne did for us for the entire year leading up to to the day off and even after the reception her level of professionalism and dedication to our reception what just top notch. She had every detail and every hour covered and made fantastic recommendations both design and with other vendors. We truly didn’t have to be concerned about anything because the level of trust we had with her and her team was top notch. To top It off she grinned and bared the storm in the evening and took care of all of the cleanup. I would recommend her to anyone and quite honestly we now consider her a friend.

    Best Decision!

    When I started planning my wedding I wasn't initially going to hire a planner, but multiple friends of mine who had recently gotten married told me it was the best decision they had made. So, I ended up hiring Sparkles. It was the BEST decision I made!! They were worth their weight in gold, as my mother would say. We worked with Kayce as our planner and she was easy to talk to, responsive, and super organized. Even though we had paid for partial planning, I never felt like I was limited in the question I could ask or the details I could ask her to help with. She met with me several times, both at their studio and at my venue, to help map out the decor. She helped me stay within my budget. She never seemed overwhelmed or stressed, even on the day of the event. And I will say that having a planner to set up your wedding for you and break it down after the event was worth every single penny. I see now why planners are so invaluable. Thanks for working so hard, Kayce!!! We loved working with Sparkles and will recommend them for sure.

    One of the BEST decisions my fiance and I made was to book with Sparkles! BA Rhode (owner) was the biggest help! She helped us outline the entire wedding, from the ceremony to the reception to the decor! She helped us find vendors within our price range and contacted them constantly to make sure we had what we wanted. She answered every call, every email, and any random question I had! On the day of the wedding, the Sparkles girls went above and beyond to set up everything and direct the guests/vendors throughout the event, making it the best day ever! It was the wedding of our dreams and Sparkles was 100% the reason why! Book them now!!

    There are not enough words to express how grateful we are for BA and her team. The entire planning process was fun, with the exception of Noisy Oyster/A Southern Affairs backing out of catering less than 2 weeks before the event, and she even pulled that emergency off with grace helping us get Harvest Catering (amazing team). Everything was absolutely gorgeous!

    We (bride,groom&comb) LOVED working with Brandy! First, I was working and studying for the bar exam while wedding planning so I instilled a lot of trust in Brandy as I didn't have a lot of time, she nailed everything I had invisioned. She led us to other wonderful vendors and adapted perfectly to my taste. Second, the day of the wedding went as smooth as butter. Both my husband and I look back on it wondering how it was even possible for our wedding to day to be so perfect. Brandy will always hold a special place in our hear and we couldn't recommend her more !

    BEST DECISION WE MADE! I was blessed to have BA Rhode (owner) by my side through my entire wedding planning process. I hired her as a Day of Coordinator/Partial Planner. BA was always quick to respond, extremely professional, and above all my sanity. If you decide to have the Sparkles team, 'sparkle' your day, let them do just that. Trust that they will execute your vision. Allow them to be creative and work their magic. I promise you will not be disappointed.

    The months leading to our wedding presented challenges that were not your typical wedding planning challenges. BA kept me grounded and was always my listening ear through the process. She always made me feel like I was her only bride. We had several changes throughout our wedding and the biggest occurred less than 6 weeks before that resulted in a change in venues, vendors, and the size of our wedding. BA helped pull it off seamlessly. She was on top of everything and thought of things I hadn't even considered.

    I had a vision for our wedding and trusted BA to pull it off. I gave her free reign over designing our wedding. I picked our colors, provided her with a few decor pieces that I wanted to incorporate, and let her do her thing. Her team exceed my expectations and our wedding was absolutely beautiful! Every detail was perfect. We had guests continuously commenting and complimenting on how beautiful everything looked. She made some changes from our initial design consultation and I could not have been happier with the outcome.

    I could not thank this team enough for all that they did to make our wedding day perfect. I would do it all over again with them in a heartbeat. Thank you again to the Sparkles team for making our wedding day a dream come true!

    When I first started the wedding planning process, I thought wedding planners were too expensive and unattainable for my budget. I figured I could do it myself. It took me weeks and a lot of stress to find a venue. The venue owner gave us the number for Sparkles and highly suggested we talk to her. After the stress of just finding a venue and realizing my life schedule was too busy for wedding planning, I started thinking I could really use some help. My husband and I met with BA and instantly knew we wanted to work with her. And the best part was how her cost fit easily into our budget. BA and her team were so great and made my wedding the day of my dreams. I was stunned by how beautiful my ceremony and reception turned out. Words can't describe how happy I was to work with BA.

    We can't say enough about how great Sparkles was for our wedding 8/11/17. From day one, Brandy made Jamie and I feel comfortable and confident that our day would be perfect. They were accommodating and were truly there for us, no matter what or when. Brandy and the rest of the sparkles crew took my image and executed it perfectly and they were sure to stay within our budget without taking away any of the ambience. When Brandy was out with her newborn, Katie stepped in and took control and B.A. made sure to let me know she was available as well! I couldn't have been more honored and excited to be Brady's first wedding back-she didn't miss a beat and I can honestly say the turn out was more than I could have imagined. The crew was there for more than decor and planning, they were a strong support system the entire process. The weeks leading up to the wedding were completely hands off for me, Brandy wrapped up my lose ends and gave me time to sit back and breathe. I can't imagine doing this without them. Thank you guys so much for making our dream come true!

    The Sparkles team is out of this world! From day one they were so nice, helpful, and creative! They took our vision and turned it into the most beautiful set up ANYONE has ever seen! Our patriotic red, white and blue theme had the most perfect pops of color and was stunning. It was better than we could have ever imagined it to be thanks to the Sparkles team! The best is they are a one stop shop! We not only used them for planning but their show room is amazing for decor rentals! I am so incredibly happy we chose them and everyone else should choose them if you want the best day ever!

    I worked with Betty Anne and Brandy and they were both excellent! I hired the Sparkles team for day of wedding coordination and wedding design/decor, but they ended up being so much more than that. I worked with them the whole year leading up to my wedding. They were super responsive to all my calls and emails, they have great ideas, and worked with me through all the times I 'changed my mind' about things. When the big day finally arrived, I was so so happy I had the Sparkles team there. My family and I were all stress-free, and could thoroughly enjoy the whole day. BA and her team arrived at my venue early in the morning to set-up, and ensure every aspect of my wedding was executed flawlessly. The ceremony and reception space looked incredible- I had multiple guests at my wedding tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to. I am so grateful for BA, Brandy, and the whole Sparkles team!

    We can't speak highly enough of Brandy, BA, and everyone on the Sparkles team! They were so hands on and able to make the vision we had for our wedding come to life. Through our ten month engagement we enjoyed every time we got to meet with them and I can't emphasize enough how easy they made the whole process. I can easily say they became part of the family and we couldn't imagine our wedding without them! They handled every little detail flawlessly and I walked into the church without a worry in the world and only had feelings of excitement to marry the love of my life. I could honestly write a book on how wonderful these ladies are and 5 stars is not even remotely close to how many stars they really deserve.     I can not say enough about the wonderful experience we had working with Sparkles Event Decor and Design. Brandy,Betty Ann and the Sparkles team did an amazing job that far exceeded my expectations. We primarily worked with Brandy,who went over the top to see that everything we wished for was accomplished,even though she was in the last trimester of her pregnancy. With that being said,Betty Ann stepped in during the last few weeks of preparation and didn't miss a beat! As the Mother of the Bride,I was able to enjoy my daughter's wedding to the fullest because Sparkles had everything under control. I would not hesitate to work with these amazing ladies again.     BA (Betty Anne) Rhode and her Sparkles girls were unbelievable to work with. I had a 6 month engagement and change of wedding location from Puerto Rico (Zika) to Charleston, SC (as a destination bride), and I never could have pulled off my wedding without Sparkles. BA allowed unlimited phone calls and brainstorming sessions in the lead-up to the wedding. She was never pushy in any way, and helped me realize what my vision was and what was most important to me. I couldn't wait to meet her once in Charleston, and she was wonderful to work with during the our whirlwind wedding week (including crazy wind on the beach and a few last minute changes that she and her girls worked tirelessly to make happen). Her services were so worth EVERY penny. BA made me feel very special (as she does with all of her brides), and I missed talking to her as soon as my wedding was done! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD.

    Betty Anne is absolutely amazing! She has an eye and true gift for design - we couldn't have imagined our wedding any more perfect than it was! She was willing to work with us (and went above and beyond) to make our dream ideas into reality. We are so grateful for Sparkles, Event Decor and Design and all that they did for us!     Sparkles took all the stress away from my wedding when it came do decor and floral! As a bride that got overwhelmed by the thought of decor, Sparkles was an absolute life saver! I also cannot say enough about how much they did for me during my rehearsal and the day of my wedding.     I highly recommend Betty Anne and her staff for your decor and planning needs. I own Southerlyn Farms and I have had very positive responses from all my brides that have contracted their services at our venue! She and her staff work very hard and go out of their way to add a sparkling touch to your day!

    Sparkles made my day more special than I could have ever imagined. She went above and beyond anything I asked her to do. I recommend her services to the fullest. I was truly happy with everthing and how it was all set up. Betty Anne and her team will do anything they can to make all the bride's dream come true, as they did mine. Not only was Betty Anne herself an amazing person so was her team. Highly recommended!!!!!

    BA and her team were simply amazing to work with! These ladies are not only amazing coordinators but such kind and lovely people that will always hold a special place in our hearts! We hired BA for our destination wedding at Magnolia Plantation as a "day of"'planner. She was FAR more than that! She was very responsive to emails, texts and phone calls and communicated every detail with us! She created a timeline and sent to all vendors which as so so helpful! She made sure every vendor arrived on time!! BA took care of all the rentals needed even last minute items we wanted to add. She also did all flowers which was a HUGE help in that I didn't have to find a florist. All I had to do was send her a list of flowers I liked and images and she took care of the rest. Our flowers and centerpieces were just as I had imagined and even better! She was there for our rehearsal the day before too. MOST IMPORTANTLY, on our wedding day we had a monsoon of rain...not only did she handle my meltdown so well but dealt with the plantation in rearranging the ceremony and reception site to move indoors. In fact, she told me we could wait until the last minute to make the final call and she would make it work!(She knew how badly I wanted it to be outside) Ultimately we had to have the ceremony inside but it was gorgeous. I mean this gal walked around in pouring rain to make it all work! She is a total rock star as she looked fabulous doing it! If I could give her 10 stars I would!

    The Sparkles team did an amazing job of transforming our beach house venue into a gorgeous wedding site. They gave me wonderful guidance and advice on everything about our wedding. I had lots of ideas and with their help, my ideas were transformed into the wedding of our dreams. Very affordable and super accessible to me at all hours. Naomi was my "day-of" coordinator and she really did a great job of following my timeline and keeping everything flowing smoothly. Loved her ideas about creating the timeline and a "must take" list of photos that I gave to the photographer in advance but especially loved her suggestion to our pastor that he pray with my fiancé first and then with me just before the wedding started. I can't recommend Sparkles highly enough!

    I HIGHLY recommend Betty Anne for all of your wedding needs!!! She was so lovely to work with, accommodating and reliable. I probably changed things 100 times and she never batted an eye, just wanted to make sure I got exactly what I wanted for my special day! Her showroom has TONS of decor and if there's something you want that she doesn't have, she will help you find it. I did not use her for wedding planning BUT I should have. We are truly grateful for her making our wedding absolutely beautiful!!!

    Betty Anne Rhode is Sparkles, Event Décor & Design.

    I hired Betty Anne (Sparkles) to decorate the church and the reception venue for my sister’s wedding on October 24, 2015 in Saint Matthews, South Carolina.

    I told her exactly what I wanted and she executed it not only flawlessly, but she added some “sparkle” to it. She transformed that “drab” building that my sister was given as her reception venue and turned it into the most elegant room anyone in that town had ever seen, they are still raving about it. She also made the ceremony simple, but elegant, leaving the over-the-top wow factor for the reception.

    If you want a top-notch decorator that is professional and personable, Betty Anne and the Sparkles team are who you want to completely transform your ideas and venue into the most elegant event of all time. I have her number on speed dial….thanks for everything you did for me and to make my sister’s day unforgettable.

    Sparkles is beyond awesome! & went above & beyond to make my special day sparkle! The best decision I made while wedding planning was hiring sparkles! Betty Anne & her staff are so friendly! I literally had nothing to worry about! Everything was perfect , very affordable! I who'd use sparkles over & over again for any big event!

    Betty Anne with Sparkles, Event Decor & Design made all our dreams come true!! and far exceeded our expectations. Not only is she the best in the world at what she does she is realistic and reasonable. give her your budget and vision then stand back and watch her do her magic. This woman will blow you off your feet, she is a decor genius! We had a group of 280 people, so planning and organizing all this made our life miserable! Then one fine day I stumbled upon Sparkles, Event Decor & Design online. I got quotes from so many other vendors to decorate and coordinate our wedding with out knowing what we wanted? Betty anne was the only one that wanted to know more detail on what we wanted before she could quote us, she was REALISTIC, not like the others. We had no idea what to expect until the moment we first opened the ballrooms doors. To see the joy and shock in my brides Eyes was priceless. We now not only recommend Betty Anne for all weddings but we now consider her as part of our family. We love you betty!

    Elizabeth and her Team are wonderful. On the first phone call I did not know what I wanted. I had all kinds of ideas off of Pintrest and magazines and ideas in my head. She had me come by her store and we had a meeting, then I came back later for another meeting where she had some tables set up with the different set ups that she thought that I had in mind. I don't know how but she got it to the T. I could feel my stress level go down as I knew that I found the right person to help. My Wedding turned out beautiful and stress free. My family and friends are still talking about how beautiful it was, "just like the TV show" I keep hearing! Wow what more could a Bride want to hear. Highly recommend Sparkles, Event, Décor and Design for your Wedding.

    Sparkles, Event Décor and Design was such a great help with my Wedding! When I meet with her I was not sure what I wanted. I had all kinds of ideas floating around in my head but did not know how to put it together so that it would be the Wedding that I have always hoped for. She set up table scapes for me to look at to decide on. On our Wedding day, Liz and her Team put my whole reception together better than I could have ever dreamt it to be. It was gorgeous and no stress at all. She is GREAT!
    Highly recommend. So easy to work with and VERY professional!

    Sparkles Event Decor & Design made wedding planning a breeze! It was such a relief to know I would not have to worry about the day of details, and Sparkles was easily the best money spent in my wedding budget. The staff was professional and helpful leading up to and including the day of the wedding. They did a perfect job decorating our event space, and it looked better than I imagined.

    I've recommended Sparkles to friends, and if I ever have another event to plan, Sparkles will be the first call I make!

    December wedding

    BA and her team produced a day beyond our imagination. I have very little guidance to what I wanted, and she made it magical. She handles everything from decor, rentals, and florals. We loved getting to know her and we are not lying when we say our wedding wouldn’t have happened without her.

    The Sparkles Team will make sure your event goes off without a hitch. Kayce was amazing & went above & beyond to make sure our day was perfect. There were a few things that were beyond her control like florist fees & the price of rentals from the showroom but nevertheless, I would still highly recommend them.     Sparked was great during the planning process. They checked in with me frequently to see if I needed anything. When I wanted to meet, they would promptly arrange a meeting. They did not have a limit on how many correspondents we had. On my wedding day it was raining, but our ceremony was supposed to be outside. I was determined not to use my rain plan. They set up my ceremony outside in the rain. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, but they quickly got guests situated and executed the rain plan. I couldn't imagine getting married without them. I highly recommend them.

    Betty Anne definitely has an eye and passion for what she does. Planning our wedding/reception was a breeze and she helped us a lot when we didn't have a vision. I would have loved to be able to provide a 5 star review but because of a couple of things that occurred on our wedding day, I can not. These were things that were not out of her control. After contacting her after the honeymoon, she did not provide a response to what happened. I was told she would get back to me but, never received a response. It was very upsetting to pay $$ and not get some kind of resolution regarding the issues.

    HORRIBLE - Do Not Hire for Agapae Oaks

    We were recommended to Betty Anne by our venue. She assured us that everything would be handled professionally down to the last detail. 8 months before the wedding, we were handed off to Drew and never heard another word from BA. This was never mentioned when we hired her. Drew assured us that she had worked this venue multiple times and knew exactly what to do. That part was somewhat correct. She knew exactly where to tell the rental company to put everything, but after that it was downhill. For MONTHS leading up to the wedding it took forever to get an answer on thing, final layouts, final numbers, etc. I was patient and gave her the benefit of the doubt, just assuming that she had been given too many weddings for one planner to handle reasonably. Also they are mostly a "month-of" service, so I didn't complain. The weeks leading up to the wedding were okay, when I tried to give specific details of things I was told "heard" and "noted". Turns out none of these things were, in fact, noted.

    On the day of, it was an absolute disaster with them. I showed up to look outside from the bridal suite I could see TONS of things in the wrong place or just not even out. I had to call her and tell her what to do and where things needed to go. Keep in mind, I packed every single piece of decor in clear packing bins with DETAILED lists on the lid of each box labeling what items were inside, how many of each item there was, and where that item was supposed to go.

    They did not come inside the house ONCE to keep us on schedule. My photographer had to keep us on a schedule once we realized the Sparkles team wasn't going to (they made the itinerary. isn't that the number one job of a wedding planner?) We ended up being rushed all day long and it was stressful to say the least. We even showed up EARLY. We just weren't told what to do. None of us had our phones on us because we didn't think we were supposed to be in charge of the schedule. It was just a disaster after that. Decor looked sloppy and I put tons of money and effort into making sure every detail was perfect. (The signature cocktail sign was in its box behind the bar for god's sake - is that not one of the most common wedding decorations???) Vendors weren't managed. And my bridesmaids basically ran the reception. Including going inside to find the glowsticks and party favors to toss out when the Sparkles team was sitting inside playing on their phones. I also heard that Drew snapped at guests who made comments like "do they even have a wedding planner" and "who is the wedding planner this is a disaster".

    Instead of wasting anymore time and energy complaining about a company who could care less I'll just leave it at this... they were sloppy, unprofessional, and careless. I sent a list of items that went wrong on the day of and got no response or apology from Betty Anne.

    Oh, I feel as if I should also mention that her granddaughter got married the weekend after me at the same venue and it looked amazing. Seems as if my wedding fell second string to that one and no one really cared.
