Great photo booth and very accomodating

Sowa Entertainment provided us an amazing photo booth for our wedding! We requested the "glamour" filter and the owner Greg Sowa worked to provide even though it was new to him and his equipment. All the pics looked great and all of our guests enjoyed it and got great keepsakes to take home! We were very happy that we went with Sowa Entertainment for the photo booth.

Best DJ/MC for your wedding!

We hired Greg Sowa to DJ/MC our ceremony and could not be happier. He has amazing attention to detail. An example Is when we came to him with very difficult last names to pronounce. He took the time to get the pronunciation right and then practiced leading up to the wedding. May seem small but that meant the world to us. As an MC, he took the wealth of information we provided and succinctly summarized it into a brilliant intro of the wedding party. The best part about Greg is how much fun he was having doing his job. His energy was contagious and he had the party rocking. We threw tons of different genres of music at him and he incorporated it seamlessly. We highly recommend Greg and the photo booth they offer too. We would hire them again and again and again based on how awesome Sowa Entertainment is!

Doug was also a great MC of the event.

(Only issue was SOWA added an additional charge for insurance needed 1 week before the wedding. Should have been told about it months ago. )

Flexible, accommodating, and customizable

Evin Baird was a wonderful guitarist to have set the mood during our wedding ceremony, happy hour, and our first dance. He was super laid back about us getting our exact plan to him, and extremely open to learning pretty much anything we wanted him to play for our ceremony. At one point of deep indecision when deciding on what music to have for the ceremony, we just asked him for suggestions. He replied back with a couple songs which he liked from other weddings, but reminded us that it was our day and we should absolutely feel like we've made our ceremony our own. He continued that supportive nature and provided a calm presence the day of our wedding, working seamlessly with our DJ who he had never met before.

Awesome execution!

We used Sowa Entertainment for our DJ and photobooth for a wedding of 100 or so at Mount Sunapee Resort. The photobooth was really fun and got a lot of use from our guests. The attendant, Oral, was friendly, approachable, and professional.

Worked with the Office Manager, Dan, to review our needs and he matched us with our DJ. Evin coordinated with vendors, helped us develop the day's timeline, and delivered a great selection of songs with limited input from us. It took some of the stress away in planning our wedding.

Everyone was up and dancing

Greg was the best DJ we could have asked for. Guests are still talking about how he kept the party going all night long. His personalizations for our wedding party were wonderful. He has experience in the wedding game, and it shows. Highly Recommended DJ - Made our wedding unforgettable!

I can't say enough about how great Sowa Entertainment is and how awesome their staff is! DJ Greg played our November, 2018 wedding and was PHENOMENAL! I literally had multiple people come up and tell me how great the DJ was. The entire process with Sowa Entertainment was wonderful and very easy, they are really organized, on top of everything, and really listened to our requests and did everything they needed to do to make our day perfect. The song selection was FIRE and the dance floor stayed lit all night. Greg did some really great introductions for our wedding parties which everyone loved, and was even able to accomodate a musician we hired to play our first dance sing! I would highly recommend Sowa Entertainment and DJ Greg for your wedding. They were worth every penny and went above and beyond to make our day extra special! You will not regret hiring them, highly recommend, 5/5 stars!

Much more than the perfect soundtrack you your day!

I persobally wasnt planning on a DJ, thjnking that is where we would save money but my husband convinced me. We had the best experience with SOWA Entertainment. Our DJ, Evin, really got us and was totally on board to make our vision come to life. My husband and I are not exactly planners and Evin really went the extra mile as far as helping us map the day/night, assign needed roles we hadn't thought of, and even caught a scheduling mistake I had made with one if our vendors, which saved the day. We got a ceremony and reception package and i highly recommend the experience. Why worry if your cousin is going to hit the cues on her phone when you can get professional equipment and a DJ who really knows what they are doing. Definitely would recommend this company and Evin, it was probably the best money we spent!

We hired Sowa Entertainment for our wedding in NH, and it was absolutely the right choice. Greg met us twice before the weekend of our wedding to get a feel for exactly what we were looking for, and he nailed it. The personal touch he brought to our reception (introducing each member of our wedding party with personalized introductions he wrote based on questionnaires we filled out) was perfect, and all night we had guests coming up to us and saying how much they loved it. Greg took the time to get to know my wife and I as a couple and, as our MC, he had our ceremony running seamlessly. He even helped us build out our timeline for the day-of, and made the entire process as stress-free as possible.

As a DJ, Greg had our guests on the dance floor all night. Song after song, he gave our evening the right flow, just what we were after, and it was fantastic. He provided the perfect soundtrack for our night. I can't thank Greg enough, he was a rockstar.

We booked Sowa Entertainment for our wedding day photobooth and Greg as our MC and DJ for our August Wedding in Waterville Valley, NH and were not disappointed! Greg was always upbeat and made plenty of time for us to meet and discuss the details of our wedding day (he literally drove in a snowstorm to meet with us!!)! Greg was crucial in us helping to build our timeline for the day of, which made everything so much more stress-free! Sowa Entertainment sets up an easy-to-use website where you can organize all the songs you want to hear at your reception...and when you've gotten that far in wedding planning, you seriously just want things organized and easy! Greg took our ideas and threw in some of his own and helped make for a really fun night, with plenty of people on the dance floor until we got kicked out!

The photobooth was a big hit and we loved the album/guestbook that we were provided at the end of the night! I think that was our favorite thing about the next morning, getting to look through all the fun pictures and messages that our guests left for us.

Sowa Entertainment was recommended to us by family friends, and we are so happy we used this company for the DJ and photobooth services. Doug was our DJ and he was great. We met with him multiple times and he had some great suggestions for music selections. He was also very open to anything and everything we wanted. He provided the ceremony and reception music. He's also an MC, which was great to have for the reception. He kept the flow of the reception and transitioned well between cocktail hour, special dances, dinner, and dancing. Our guests loved dancing!

The photobooth was also a great addition. There an attendant for the photobooth, which helped guests figure out what to do. The attendant was very patient with our guests. She also went over and above expectations, as she assisted guests with our GoPro (guests left video messages for us). We also received a flashdrive with all the photobooth images, which were fun to look at after the wedding.

We highly recommend Sowa Entertainment.

Evin from Sowa Entertainment was our wedding DJ, and he was amazing.

Pre-wedding, Evin was friendly, responsive, had some great ideas about timeline, and very easy to work with.

Day-of, Evin arrived on time, and had everything set up at both our ceremony and reception locations before I knew it. He played pre-ceremony music, "Marry me" by Train for our processional, and "Brighter than the Sun" by Colbie Calliat for our recessional on guitar for us. It was so nice to have the option for live music, and we and our guests really enjoyed that aspect of the ceremony.

Evin was fantastic at our reception- he played every song we asked for without issue (which might seem like a silly thing to say, but I've heard some nightmare stories about the the father-daughter dance going horribly wrong from other brides), and was great at "reading the mood" of the room. Our wedding was very small (only 35 people), and I think Evin might have been skeptical at first, but he helped us keep the dance party going all night. He was very accommodating with all of the requests from us and our guests, and really made it a great event.

Greg has been DJ-ing for a long time and he knows what he is doing (and it shows!). He did an absolutely fantastic job at our wedding and reception--we never had to worry about a thing related to entertainment, because he handled it all seamlessly. He knows how to keep the energy of a party going and also just seems like he's having so much fun, which is infectious for everyone in attendance. He also does some really cute personalized introductions that help your guests learn more about how you found each other and how you know the loved ones you've included in your parties. This was a big highlight for everyone, and even our coordinator (who doubtless has been to hundreds if not thousands of weddings at this point in her career) commented on how unique and sweet it was. Definitely the perfect choice for our day.

As for the planning process, Greg is super organized and uses an online planning tool that makes the whole process really easy. You'll be really glad you chose his company to handle your wedding entertainment!

Greg did a phenomenal job! He took the time to meet with us on multiple occasions to go over music selection, dance songs, entry speeches etc. One of our biggest fears was that people wouldn’t be able to hear us during our wedding vows, but Greg ensured that didn’t happen which we greatly appreciated. He had everyone hysterically laughing with his introductions to the bridal party and there wasn’t any point in the night where the dance floor wasn’t packed. He played all the music that we specifically requested before the big day and made sure he avoided the artists we said no to. Everyone had an absolute blast and it couldn’t have happened without him.

Greg and Evin were a big reason why we had the most incredible time at our wedding. From the beginning, Greg was very professional and responsive to all of our questions and wishes. We were so happy to have him working with us throughout the process to ensure that we were getting the best service for our money, and we are so grateful that he recommended Evin as our DJ for the event! Evin took the time to meet us more than once to go over our music requests and the schedule for the event. He acted just as much as a wedding coordinator as a DJ, and for that we are extremely grateful. Because of Evin, we didn't have to think about any of the logistics on the actual day and we could relax knowing that everyone was having a great time. Not to mention his great taste in music! Evin incorporated all of our unique (and sometimes a little out-there) requests while adding in his own selections that we absolutely loved! Everyone danced the entire time! DJ Greg Sowa provided the entertainment for our wedding last month and he was amazing! From the planning process right up until the very end, he exceeded any expectations that we had. During our planning meeting we needed some guidance when choosing some of the music and the order of how things should be and Greg didn't hesitate to give us his honest opinion and give us some different options to choose from. Greg kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night and he even joined us quite a few times! I think my favorite part of our reception was the bridal party entrance; Greg had us fill out a questionnaire about each member of our bridal party and then wrote a light hearted and funny blurb about each of them that he read as they were walking into the reception! Everyone at the wedding complimented us on choosing an amazing DJ and even a few had said that they had wished that they had booked Greg for their wedding! Book DJ Greg Sowa, you won't be disappointed :)

We had Doug as our DJ/MC for our wedding and couldn't be happier. Sowa Entertainment was great to work with and always quick to respond. Doug did an excellent job and everyone had an amazing time at our wedding! We couldn't have asked for more from him. From our initial conversation with Doug, to our meeting a few weeks prior to our event date, to the actual day of, Doug was super quick to respond, was very helpful, and truly listened to what we were looking for. Many of our guests have complimented our DJ, he really did a great job of getting a feel for what our guests wanted to listen and dance to, but stayed true to what my husband and I had asked for. DJ GREG SOWA IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST MASTER OF CEREMONIES! Entertainment was one of the most important things for our wedding. We searched and searched, watched DJ video after video and found a lot of DJ's had an ego and weren't interested in us but rather more about the music and hearing their own voice. That is until our wedding officiant recommended Greg. As soon as we watched his video we knew he was for us. He was a bit over our budget but worth every penny!
He played our music at our ceremony, put microphones on our officiant and groom so that everyone could hear us, and made sure everything sound wise was perfect.
Greg really got to know us and our story. It showed when he spoke of us at the reception and in our introduction. He also made our parent's and wedding party's entrances heartfelt and funny. He had all the right equipment and kept us dancing all night long.
We changed things up and he was totally go with the flow. Our best man and bridesmaid gave a surprise performance and didn't skip a beat. He checked in at multiple points to make sure we got to do all the things we wanted and was singing and dancing as much as we were.
We also got a photo booth from Greg. Our photo booth attendant, Oral was soooo fun. He made sure everyone signed our guestbook and it was by far the highlight of the wedding. At the end of the night we got a thumb drive of all the photos, instant awesome!
For anyone that wants their guests to have a memorable and really fun time, Sowa Entertainment is the way to go!!

Greg was our wedding DJ and he was amazing. My husband and I didn't have a lot of specific music picked out. We had the important moments music chosen, but not really anything for all the other spots that need music in a wedding. We told Greg a little about our taste, as it is pretty wide. As well as what we didn't like. Greg nailed it. All of the songs he played were perfect! The timing of the songs we did request was also fantastic. We got so many compliments about Greg! Greg was laid back, professional and funny. We wholeheartedly recommend him for your wedding or anything else where you'll need a DJ!

We booked with Greg and got Evin as our DJ and we couldn't have been happier. They were both very helpful during the booking and planning process and very accommodating about Skype calls as we were living out of the country at the time. We didn't meet Evin in person till the day of the wedding, but it felt like we'd be friends for a long time. He took the time to understand our style and matched it perfectly. All of our guests commented on what a great DJ we had and said it was definitely one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to. Evin was our MC and kept the whole night moving smoothly and was very knowledgeable about suggesting timelines for the reception. And he was able to get any song requested during the reception which was awesome and not every DJ can do. We would definitely recommend Greg and Evin for any wedding!!

Doug Boucher from Sowa was our DJ for our October wedding. Doug was super professional, friendly, and easy going. He made us comfortable from the very first time we met him. Everyone commented on how fun our wedding was and it was largely due to the great music! People danced from the very first song to the very last. You can't go wrong w. Doug! Do you want the party of the year? The most fun wedding ever? A full dance floor? A reception people will talk about for weeks to come? We all know that a DJ can make or break your wedding. If you answered yes to any of the above questions trust when I say you have to hire Greg!! After I got engaged, before I even booked my venue, I contacted Greg to DJ my wedding; he is THAT good!! Our two meetings with Greg were seriously so much fun. His office has a large TV with surround sound to be able to sample songs as they are discussed (bouquet toss, first dance, bridal party announcements). One of the great perks too is that you will have your own online account through his website where you can pay your balance and create a running list of plays/do not plays, etc which is helpful to stay organized. In terms of bridal party announcement leading into the reception I guarantee you will not find anything as creative or fun as what Greg offers. After signing on as a vendor, Greg gives you homework to fill out for each bridal party members. It contains questions such as how you met, a funny thing about them, etc. From there Greg crafts introductions that you don't get to hear until the reception. Makes for SUCH a fun entrance and a piece of the wedding I guarantee your guests will not forget!! It was obvious Greg was having a blast too, as he stepped away to do the Cupid Shuffle with us! Do yourself a favor and hire Greg!

Greg and Michael his photo booth assistant were amazing during my wedding. We had a BLAST at our wedding, everything went so smooth and we couldn't of asked for a better night!! We were so incredibly lucky to have worked with Greg. In the months leading up to the event, he was **always on the ball**. First, he was **proactive ** (not always the case with wedding vendors) and scheduled a planning meeting and approached that meeting with precision: taking into account our preferences on music, vibe, and event flow 100%. Over the 6 months of planning, he reminded us that, above all else, our wedding should be memorable and fun.

When our wedding night came, he **executed flawlessly** -- and went above and beyond in making sure everything was perfect. We could tell that he really enjoy the evening, too; his **enthusiasm** and **energy** were noticed by several of our guests as well, and that really added to the vibe. Evin was the DJ for our New Hampshire wedding at Bishop Farm in August and he was GREAT! Leading up to the wedding, we had a handful of conference calls to discuss our vision for music and wedding flow, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with - very responsive and resourceful.

We had been toying around with the idea of doing a first dance remix of all our favorite songs, and he was so on board he actually helped make the remix. It turned out absolutely GREAT! We loved it, and so did all of our guests.

Although we didn't use his DJ services for the ceremony, he helped our acoustic guitarist with the sound system and also provided a microphone for the pastor. We found out after booking the guitarist that Evin actually also plays the guitar and would have been open to playing at our wedding. If we had known, we totally would have worked with him.

Overall, he helped ensure the night went off without a hitch. He was so on top of the wedding flow - making announcements on when things should happen, etc. that we didn't have to worry about a thing. We'd recommend him for ANY wedding!

I cannot recommend these folks enough.
After inquiring via email I was contacted by Greg who was a pleasure to speak with. He asked a few questions about my husband and I to try to get a feel for us to figure out what services would be best. Very personable and professional. After reviewing the MC videos on their website and reading reviews we decided to go with Evin. From there, we met at their office and Manchester and hashed out some details. Evin really "got us" and knew exactly what we were looking for as far as music and a general feel (our wedding was a pretty back yard kegger with 120+ people of all ages). Not only did we book Evin to MC the event but we were also able to add a ceremony service to our booking. So, he was able to hook a mic to our officiant (which was essential for our field wedding) and he also played the precessional and recessional music. I want to bring attention to a small but helpful detail... their client portal. They have a wonderful client portal that you can log on to and read your booking information as well as plan your event. I also appreciated the "make a payment" feature which allowed me to login and make payments in advance. About a month or so before the wedding we met with Evin via skype to further plan our day as far as music selection and timeline goes. His help with our day of timeline was HUGE. He helped us make sense of something that was a little scary! OH and we also booked the photobooth and it may have been my favorite part of my own wedding!! It was so much fun and it was great for the kids and adults alike. An absolute blast . I believe we had Angie as our attendant and she did a great job. As the night went on Evin kept the dance floor packed. I can't remember a time that it was empty. He did a great job at feeling the crowd and keeping us all moving. I truly can't say enough good things about the folks at Sowa. as a mostly DIY bride I'm so glad I left this to the pros. They go above and beyond.THANK YOU!!!!!!!

My husband and I had the great pleasure of working with Evin from Sowa Entertainment for our wedding. We knew after the first meeting that it was a great fit. Evin got a great sense of who we were as a couple and the kind of music we liked. He was very attentive and was happy to do our strange and unique requests. Greg was great. He met with us frequently and helped us tailor the events to be unique for us. He listened to our preferences and what kind of a feel we wanted. He was able to play all the music we wanted and then filled in the gaps with great choices. Our ceremony was lovely with great music, if we got stuck on songs he had several recommendations based on our other choices. He had a pre-wedding list of things to consider and different flows of events as well. When we were announced in he was able to tell our story. He really knew how to get the party started and kept it going the whole time.

We had Evin as our DJ and he was amzing, very entergetic, and was able to read the crowd very well. I was very happy with him. My father was especially happy because he didn't come up and hand him the microphone or not give him any notice, he always gave people 5-10 minutes notice before speech's and first dance's and cake so that everyone had time to get ready for it.

Evin was the DJ and emcee for my wedding. I really can't imagine anyone doing a better job than he did. His service was impressive from the get-go, even traveling an hour to meet with us a couple weeks before the wedding. His flexibility was great, and especially appreciated with the impending thunderstorm during our ceremony. And the music was fantastic! We received many compliments that my husband and I "know how to throw a good party" but a large part of that is because Evin knows how to throw a good party! He kept everyone dancing all night!

We had our wedding at Castle in the Clouds on October '14. We started working with Greg at least one year in advance. We used the following services: DJ/MC, Uplighting, Photo Booth.

Greg did an amazing job at setting the whole mood of the wedding. Everything was right on schedule and as planned. He was very patient while meeting with us throughout the year and answering our multiple emails. He was also great at recommending songs, such as recommending songs to use during the cocktail hour, during dinner, (which we had not thought about) etc, and helping us organize the event schedule. He is very professional and we had a blast with him being our DJ/MC at the wedding.

It also great we could get the additional services from him, such as the Uplighting and Photo Booth. It made it a lot easier to just deal with one vendor instead of three.

P.S. The photo booth was a hit at the wedding and all the guests loved it as a party favor!

We contacted Sowa Entertainment immediately after booking our venue. Greg Sowa, the owner, helped us to decide on services provided by the company. Sowa Entertainment provided the ceremony, cocktail and reception music/entertainment; the photobooth (NH Photo Fun Booth); and the uplighting. Initially I was hesitant to have uplighting (didn't want a "club" feel), and I loved how it turned out. We had many song requests from YouTube, which they were able to find for us. Everyone LOVED the photobooth, and the scrapbook is so much fun to look through. I didn't happen to cartwheel the photobooth attendants name but he was so helpful taming the party animals, printing extra photo strips and manning the booth. Greg Sowa MC'd the introductions, before Evin Baird took over MC/DJ responsibilities for the night - both did a great job. They took our vague requests and descriptions of the feel of our musical tastes and translated them cohesively from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner and dancing - it was a great night of dancing and singing. Greg was our first vendor that we booked. We first met Greg a year before the wedding. He was very energetic and we got along great. Between all three of us, we had so many things in common that Greg knew he would be the perfect DJ for us. And he sure was right! We met one more time before the wedding. He was very helpful with music choices since I am so indecisive. He has us fill out stories so he can get to know us and the wedding party. I kept it until last minute that it was too late to fill it out. I emailed Greg and he immediately made it available for me to fill out. The stories that he used to introduce the wedding party was perfect!! The day of the wedding he was great. Greg was so accommodating that day. He worked so well when one of the groomsmen played the violin while I walked down the aisle. The music the whole night was perfect. All my guests were raving about Greg!!

Greg and his team provided AMAZING service for our wedding this past summer at Waterville Valley Resort. Since day one, Greg was extremely helpful in the planning of our wedding. Our guests have not stopped complimenting his work during the wedding. He had everyone including friends from colleges, parents, family friends and grandparents on the dance floor the entire night. Our favorite part of his service was the write-ups for the reception. We were able to fill out individual questionaires on our wedding party and Greg did write-up's on each person while they were being announced at the reception. It was a great way to include a personal touch for our wedding party and I know the guests really enjoyed it too! All in all, I would recommend Sowa Entertainment to anyone who is starting to plan their wedding. Greg will be there for you every step of the way!

SOWA was a pleasure to deal with from the beginning. We chose DJ Doug Boucher - Specializing in Weddings, Company Events, School Dances to DJ our special day, and he was more than accommodating. We needed quite a bit of help on sound for the ceremony because it was outdoors, and they never even batted an eyelash. Got the groom and the JP mic'ed up and everyone could hear everything. Their music selection is not only vast, but Doug knew exactly what to play based on some of our other selections. We had some odd requests for him, such as a mash-up of two songs for the father daughter dance and he had it done the next day for our approval. One hiccup was saying the wrong name on the bride and groom entrance into the reception, apparently my name is Mark Wolf =P, but that was quickly remedied and I know he felt bad about it. In all honesty, it didn't bother me at all. All in all though, a wonderful experience and will recommend them to everyone!

I cannot begin to put into words how amazing Doug Boucher did at our wedding. Everything from the timing, to the dinner music to the announcements to his choices to get the party going...everything!!! The vendor I was the most worried about for our wedding was the DJ because it's the DJ who sets the tone for evening. I'm a firm believer that the DJ plays a major role in the success of the wedding reception. Knowing this, I was skeptical of all DJs. Then DJ Doug came into the picture and I can't describe just how grateful we are for his pure talent! I mean, he's been doing this for 25 years +, I would highly recommend him to anyone. Sowa Entertainment provided all of the music entertainment and Doug Boucher was the deejay at our wedding in June 2014 at the Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa, in Whitefield, NH. Doug was fantastic. Because we were planning the wedding from a few states away, we did not have an opportunity to meet up with Doug in person before the wedding. To accommodate the long-distance planning, Doug Skype video-chatted with us a number of times which was very helpful. He helped us walk through and plan the schedule of events that he would be coordinating and brought many details to our attention that we would never have thought of. Despite delays on our end in getting Doug the information he needed to plan for the day, he was on top of everything and was extremely responsive to our last-minute questions and changes (even changes we surprised him with the day of). Friendly and engaging, Doug made the extra effort to make sure everything went smoothly through the reception and he kept everyone dancing all night long. He respected our must play and do not play lists (even when our friends made requests from our do not play list), and filled in the rest of the time with great music that always fit our music tastes. Doug is a true professional and helped make our wedding day stay on schedule and go smoothly. Thanks to Doug and Sowa Entertainment we were worry free on our wedding day and danced the night away to the best music we could have asked for. We cannot recommend Doug and Sowa Entertainment enough.

We initially worked with Greg when we first began looking at potential DJs for my NH wedding. We immediately liked him and the fact that he was very familiar with our venue. After listening to what we were looking for and asking our price range he recommended Dan.

Dan was absolutely amazing! I have to admit I was a bit hesitant when I found out how young he was and that he hadn't had as much wedding experience on his own as some of the other potential entertainment specialists, but he surpassed all expectations.

Planning: Prior to our final planning call I was nervous about how to organize all of the information I had to give him, but he had such a good way of doing things that from that point on I was completely confident in his abilities.

Wedding Day: As my wedding approached things got confusing since the wedding coordinator at the venue kept changing and I didn't know how things would be done schedule-wise and not all of the changes ended up being communicated to Dan, but he handled it all perfectly in a way that I didn't even know about it until someone told me afterwards. He could have come to me stressed about the situation, but he didn't and he just took care of everything. I truly can't say enough good things about him.

Evin was our DJ at our wedding. We had 140 guests at the wedding, and he handled it seamlessly. At first I wasn't convinced of having a DJ - I was going to do the whole ipod thing....then i got cold feet! Thank goodness I did. As soon as that happened, I polled my friends that recently got married for DJ recommendations. Sowa Entertainement came up, as well as many others. For me it was the professionalism in the way that they do business that did it for me. I was impressed since the first day we met Evin in the way that he listened to us, and made every planning meeting fun. He was also very flexible with meeting times schedule-wise. He really had an excellent presence at our wedding, and tailored it to exactly what we were hoping for. He choreographed the whole event seamlessly, and came and found us when certain events were coming up so that we weren't surprised and I can't tell you how invaluable that was. He kept all our guests dancing all night, and we had an absolute blast. He played all the recommendations we had and even tackled my 84 year old Italian grandma's request for the Tarantella!! All in all - he rocked and I highly recommend Sowa and especially Evin!

My daughter & I went meet Greg Sowa, for a photo booth. We were unaware he was also a DJ. He was very impressive during the photo booth 'interview'; friendly, professional, funny, cost appropriate. We asked him to tell us about DJ'ing. He talked about his style of planning a wedding: getting to know the couple, with meetings, & online surveys, & working with them to be the MC of the event as well as the DJ. He showed us his equipment, his play list, & also a video montage of weddings. It did not take long for us to realize we would be booking him. The bundled price of DJ & photo booth was helpful.
Once we were booked, and paid; he was just as attentive to planning as he’d said he’d be. On the day of the wedding, he was awesome. He intro'd the couple after the wedding, @ the reception, & in a perfect funny, casual, respectful way he told their story. He sounded like he'd known them for years, not just reading a piece of paper. He ran the musical chairs game with the perfect touch of humour, & handled the mishap of someone being a bit to enthusiastic during musical chairs (& knocking the bride over for the win!) with aplomb. The music was perfectly choosen & spaced. He gave just the right amount of time to the mother/son dance; before calling everyone onto the dance floor, so that the lack of a father/daughter dance wasn't glaringly obvious, & thus helped the bride not have time to be sad. During the dancing, he seemed to be enjoying himself, yet was alwasy 100% professional. When the music ended hours later, time had flown by & we were bummed it was done.
The photo booth was equally awesome. We have so many amazing printouts. They even brought a scrapbook, scrapbook pages, pens, & a glue stick. So the people posed in pic kept one & glued the other onto a scrapbook page, & wrote a message! Was awesome, I've never seen that before. I've had so many people ask me who was that DJ. Hands down the best DJ I've ever seen at a wedding.

Now I have only been married once but I've been to multiple weddings and Greg has to be hands down the best one ever! You know you have a good DJ when they are having as much of a blast as you are. Greg was kind, flexible, and all at a reasonable cost! I will definitely be using them again. We also had the photobooth which was AMAZING! Having unlimited prints available for printing was the best thing ever.

Doug's DJing was fantastic -- we had a BLAST dancing. His music selection was perfect, and he was really good at reading the room (tent) and playing all the right songs. He was also EXCELLENT as the MC and keeping the flow of the afternoon.

We felt totally comfortable throughout the process, from the initial contact, the meetings, and everything in between. It was very easy to communicate our ideas so we weren't stressed about anything music/DJ related at all.

From the first meeting we had with him he was helpful, professional and knowledgeable of current trends and technology. Dan Pelletier was FANTASTIC, he was our favorite vendor. I cannot say enough good things about him. Part of the reason we chose him from Sowa was because he was the slightly cheaper version, so I would book him now because he will not be for long. Went above and beyond any expectations I ever could have had. Did a fantastic job with our custom introductions, was EXTREMELY flexible as we had song and schedule changes literally up to the cocktail hour. He was super easy to get in touch with and responded to emails right away and helped us plan our the timeline for the evening. I also loved Sowa's online system because I could look and see exactly what songs I had already told him I preferred or what special songs we had chosen. I actually had to rewrite this because it was just too long. Book him, book him now.

PHOTO BOOTH!!! THE BEST MONEY SPENT!!!! Everyone loved the photo booth. What a great addition. I got SO many compliments on the photo booth and how much fun it was. The attendant was most friendly, even when dealing with the two 5 year olds who WOULD NOT get out of it ALL night.

Greg was the DJ/emcee for our wedding at Bishop Farm Bed and Breakfast. From our initial meeting to the last song, Greg was amazing to work with and orchestrated a perfect day! He went above and beyond what was expected and kept our guests dancing all night long. One of our favorite moments from the reception was the grand entrance. Greg worked hard to add personality to each introduction by including our personal anecdotes about each member of the wedding party - it was such a nice touch. Sowa Entertainment also provided the photobooth for our event and we are SO happy we added it to our package - our guests LOVED it, and we loved looked through the pictures. Greg is super efficient, organized, professional, and FUN! You will love working with him and with SOWA entertainment!

We booked the photo booth for our wedding reception. Every single guest came out of the photo booth with a big smile on their face. The photos that were taken are priceless! The photo booth attendant was extremely nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this service.

Greg was fabulous leading up to the wedding as well as at the ceremony and reception! The music selections were perfect! Everyone was dancing the whole night and we received so many compliments about the DJ. Thanks for such an unbelievable night!

Sowa Entertainment handled our DJ entertainment services and photo booth. Both Greg, our DJ, and Doug, the photo booth attendant, were absolutely fantastic.

Everything went so well and we couldn't have asked for a better time. I've had several people ask who our DJ was after the wedding (even 3 weeks later!). Our guests loved his music choice, and two people said that they saw him dancing, which helped them feel more at ease to dance too. It was great!!

Overall, we found the process of booking very easy. We had two meetings before the wedding with Greg to get to know each other and so he could get a feel for my fiance and I's styles and personalities. He had the option of meeting via Skype--it was more convenient, especially since we lived pretty far apart. His confidence and professionalism helped us (me for sure!) on the wedding day--I knew that everything would be taken care of, so it was one thing less I had to worry about. The fact that he was familiar with the space was also very comforting!

Doug was very nice, and the photobooth was an absolute hit. I loved getting the images on the USB immediately after the wedding--we had such fun looking back at them. The guest book he provided for us to use with the photo booth strips was such a great idea! We keep it on our coffee table and it has been quite the conversation piece.

Kim, who helped us with our photobooth details, was great--she was incredibly responsive, usually only taking a few hours tops to answer any questions we had. She helped make the planning of the photobooth, at least in terms of setup and the look of the photo strips, easy.

I've heard horror stories about DJ's--playing the wrong music, forgetting the bride and groom's names--but Greg definitely helped make our night perfect. It was great to meet him a few times beforehand because it helped us get a feel for his style and personality. I knew that we were in good hands, which allowed me to fully enjoy the night. It was wonderful!

You must be wondering, ‘Why in the world would this person be writing a review 1 1/2 years later?’ Simple, really: because Greg is that good!

Since the first time we talked he genuinely was interested in understanding what we wanted for our wedding, and never made us feel rushed or pushed us to go in any certain direction. We were literally on the other side of the country in Portland, OR, asking questions and making decisions via email and phone. Greg's personality and professionalism put us at ease. He did an awesome job emceeing our wedding and the music kept people dancing all night. We highly recommend him for any of your events.

In addition, his photo booth is one of the best I have seen. The seat is wide and holds lots of people so you can fit a whole group if you wanted. Greg and his team are very professional and we wouldn't have gone with anyone else!

Greg from Sowa Entertainment did a phenomenal job at our wedding. Our guest had a great time and spent a lot of time on the dance floor. My family is Jamaican and was impressed by Greg's reggae song selection.

We booked Greg as our DJ, but discovered that his services far exceeded our expectations. He coordinated with our other vendors during the event to assure smooth transitions. He was well prepared for the most important day of our lives.

We will use greg as our DJ for future events.

Where to start!? Greg was amazing. We got so many compliments from guests about how awesome he was to watch and the great music selection. Every time we met with Greg it was easy to talk to him and lay out our plans. He's very organized which made me very confident in his performance. On the actual wedding day he was animated and fun. We added on our uplighting through Greg. It was much cheaper than the lighting company we were going to use and it was just as good. We could not be more pleased with our choice of DJ.

Sowa Entertainment provided our photobooth and they were excellent to work with. The day of the wedding I saw the photobooth, and they had decorated it to the colors of my wedding! Kim worked with me to design our names/dates to go on the bottom of the photo strips, and it looked great! When seeing other photo booth photo strips, I love ours even more! I highly recommend this company for photobooths. It was a blast!

Dan was a great DJ, he knew exactly how the crowd was feeling, when we needed a slow or a fast song, and never once did he play a song from the genre we requested not to hear! He was very charismatic and friendly, and he did a great job announcing everything the way we wanted, even going so far as to ask each announced member of the wedding party exactly how to pronounce their names. Thanks to Sowa Entertainment's willingness to find some of the more obscure songs we requested, we made some amazing memories. I cannot recommend this company enough!

We met Greg at an expo where he was advertising his photo booth and it wasn't until I looked into the booth did I realize that he also DJ'ed. I submitted an inquiry via his website and from his first response back, I felt like we had found our DJ! His email back to my inquiry felt personal and thorough and not at all like a stock reply. He even attached the file from our photobooth picture we took at the expo to his response. This gave me the feeling that he would be dedicated to personalizing our day with us and he did not disappoint. Greg is enthusiastic and personable and our first meeting with him at Panera might have been two hours but it went by so fast because we were so comfortable talking with him and we talked about so much. We booked him on the spot and he was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. He is thorough and provides worksheets so you can plan the day, confirming what traditional details you want to include and what personal touches and details will be involved. He also provided our ceremony sound as our wedding was outside and equipped our officiant, my groom, and our readers with clip on mics and a wireless mic, respectively. His speakers were perfect for an event like this as they did not detract from the scenery both because of their style and where/how they were positioned. One of our main concerns was whether our vows would be heard and they were! Our guests are still commenting on how fun he was and how much he clearly loves his job. As a DJ, he was unobtrusive and made the announcements that we had requested. He is a professional, young guy with a lot of energy and a lot of experience. He did a great job keeping the dance floor full and also included our special requests as well as some impromptu requests from our guests. As the wedding drew closer he was great at responding to my last minute emails and patient with a frazzled bride to be! We love DJ Greg and would recommend him to any brides and grooms to be!

We really can't say enough great things about Greg as our DJ. When we first met with Greg we were a bit sour as we had already met with two other DJs who really put us off. Greg was easy to schedule an appointment with and met us at a local Panera. Our one hour appointment turned into at least two hours as our discussions about the wedding turned into friendly chatting. We knew leaving there that we wanted to book him as our DJ, but Greg allowed us some time to think about things. We were a bit hesitant about the overall price as it was out of our budget, but after meeting the other DJs that were in our price range, we knew we had to spend a bit more to get the professionalism we saw in Greg. In the end we booked the photo booth along with his DJ services for the day and saved a bit by having the package. Worth every penny.

Greg never disappointed. He took my suggestions and helped shape the ceremony music with his expert opinion on what worked well. He accepted all of my crazy ideas and worked with me to pull them off including mobilizing his equipment to the outdoor patio for the last few dances. He was able to pull out music the day of to meet our last minute requests. While I was busy getting ready, he set up my musician for the ceremony, prepared mics, and worked out the kinks without having to worry me. He kept the music tasteful and the party going, I never saw the dance floor empty and everything flowed so smoothly. His announcements were well timed and never, ever cheesy.

After the wedding we heard compliments about him from everyone. They were so happy and impressed with Greg's character and the music choices, they took the time to say it.

The photo booth was another great choice. The props are a must as they ended up being a center theme to our dance floor. We were amazed to have the photos given to us on a flash drive after the reception. It helped while waiting on other photos, just to get a glimpse of the day.

Greg did an absolutely FANTASTIC job as the DJ at our wedding. From the time that we first met with Greg to the time the last song played at the reception, Greg was attentive, professional, organized and FUN. He offered great advice about how to choose songs for the ceremony, and he provided speakers and microphones at the ceremony site. At the reception, Greg kept the party going all night. Greg was AWESOME! He helped out with music and microphones not only for the ceremony and reception but provided also provided our Photo booth for the reception! Doug did an amazing job for my wedding. My husband and I were planning our wedding from afar and Doug set up Skype conversations with us so that we could meet and go over details before the wedding. The day of the wedding, Doug came prepared, took some photos of the wedding, brought props for everyone on the dance floor, and played great music the entire night. Greg provided sound for both our ceremony and reception and also up-lighting for our reception space. His professional attitude and dedication to his clients was unsurpassed by any of our other vendors. From our initial consultation meeting to the end of the event during breakdown, he acted professionally and with excitement and passion.

Greg truly cared about us, our wedding party, and our family. From start to finish, Greg asked questions to ensure that our wedding was both unique and amazing, and made sure the event truly reflected us. Greg made sure only to play items on our "Do Not Play" list after asking us, and worked to read the audience (our 140 guests) to keep them on the dance floor. Greg was also able to edit our "dance songs" (father-daughter, mother-son, and our first dance) in order to make sure they didn't drag on forever, which was appreciated by all.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Greg, and have already made sure that he was secured to DJ other events for our respective jobs!

I can't say enough good things about DJ Greg. From the very beginning of our planning phase for our wedding, Greg couldn't have been more helpful and responsive. In the two meetings we had with him, he immediately accessed the huge volume of music he could readily access on his computer. he really helped us bring our ideas to reality. We had a fairly traditional ceremony with plenty of music in between parts of the ceremony. He was a tremendous help picking out appropriate music based on our ideas. He listens well and can visualize what you want to do or the mood you want to create. A friend of ours wanted to sing a song that he specifically picked out for us. So Greg took the song and stripped out the voices leaving just the instrumental back-up so Bob could sing it with what sounded like a live orchestra. It was spectacular. As for the reception and party after the ceremony, Greg's easy going personality and his relaxed but focused manners immediately put everyone at ease and the dance floor was crowded all night. He was superb at reading the group and translating that into acceptable songs to play. He was also good at taking requests. So many of the 110+ guests mentioned it was the best time they'd had at a wedding and Greg's DJ'ing played a huge part in this. I would not hesitate in having him play for one of my events again nor recommending him to my friends. He is a natural at this line of work. You won't be disappointed...we weren't!

Having stumbled upon Greg's website (http://www.djgregsowa.com/) while planning my wedding, I was a little nervous to hire him, but his references were excellent, so my husband and I decided to go for it. Hiring Greg to DJ ended up being one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. Our wedding coordinator failed to show up on the wedding day, and Greg stepped right in and picked up her slack - The wedding went off without a hitch! I always envisioned my wedding to be the type where everyone is dancing from the first song to the last, and thats exactly what happened! Greg played songs that appealed to everyone at the wedding - both young and old...I only wish we had ordered a bigger dance floor!!!

Our wedding reception was a total success, thanks to our DJ Greg Sowa. Greg was very professional and always made sure any request we had was fulfilled. The music was exactly what we asked for and the sound level was perfect as our guests were able to enjoy the music but be able to talk with each other as well. Greg was very enthusiastic and kept things hopping.

I can't say enough as to how wonderful he was as well as the "Photo Booth" and "Photo Guest Book".

We would recommend his highly !!!

First Greg was very professional. But more over Greg was fun to work with. We had a smaller wedding and I think at some point every one was up dancing. We loved Greg and the fun that he brought to our wedding, especially the photo booth. Everything was so perfect, we could not have asked for a better DJ.

DJ Greg Sowa did a great job at our wedding in May. We received several compliments from guests and other vendors about the job he did. Our guests were dancing all night long. Greg's enthusiasm and ability to get the guests involved is excellent. I will be strongly recommending DJ Greg Sowa to my friends and family.

Greg, was amazing!! He went out of his way to meet with us to make sure that every little detail was covered. He is a true professional. The dance floor was packed the entire night! Greg, went above and beyond!! We loved him so much that my sister booked him for her wedding!
