We had a small wedding ceremony and dinner party in San Antonio. Kendyll was so amazing to work with and made us (both generally awkward people) feel so at ease. We've since gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos and we will treasure them forever. Our album is a beautiful, authentic, little work of art. -

My partner and I had our minimony (small courthouse wedding) photos taken by Nicole at Southern Love Creative, and I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was with her and with the whole photography studio. In our initial calls and planning calls, she helped us think through the logistics of the day and what we wanted. And on the day of she was absolutely lovely - keeping up with our exhuberant nieces and nephews, our parents, and our siblings with ease. She even helped hold my partner's wallet and keys so his suit would look nice in the pictures! We just recieved the photos and are blown away - we absolutely loved them and treasure them so much. Her candid and journalistic approach makes you feel like you are really living the day again with us. Our only regret is we didn't book her for all our wedding events and have even more photos! -

Our Special Day
My experience with Nikk and Laura was amazing. Initially we had planned to have Nikk shoot our wedding but do to a busy schedule he wasn't available. He suggested we have Laura take our pictures and i couldn't be happier with the results. Laura captured all the important moments with ease and in a crazy short time frame. She was also extremely professional and easy to work with. The pictures where also edited & finalized super fast which was awesome. I can absolutely recommend hiring Laura for your special day. -

As someone that also does wedding photography, I was nervous when looking for a wedding photographer, but I honestly say my wife and I hit the jackpot with Nikk and his team. Not only were they accommodating to all our requests, but their calming presence made the day smooth and comfortable for all of us involved.
Turn around on the photos was the quickest I've seen and the moments they captured were flawless as you can see. My favorite part is that most of the wedding, they were always in position to get the shot. I don't plan on getting married again, but if I did, Nikk would be my first call. 10/10 would recommend! -

The best part of our wedding
We are in absolute awe of how our wedding photos were able to capture the immense love and joy we felt - it’s actually wild. Booking with Nikk was the first, and easiest, decision we made when deciding our wedding vendors. From our first conversation, we knew we were in good hands. We loved that Nikk doesn’t do the traditional “posed” photos - he lives very in the moment and that is the reason we got absolutely smashing photos for our wedding. We had Laura photograph our pre-wedding shoot and our Pithi event, and had Laura and Nikk photograph our wedding and just wow. From our first photo to our last, Laura made us feel so so comfortable that our shoots were FUN! We joked at the end that Laura was actually family because it was so seamless integrating her into our events knowing she would capture them beautifully! On our wedding day, Nikk and Laura crushed it - we were running really late but they both made us feel at ease and you can literally see how calm and stress free we felt in the photos - that’s a true testament to them as a team. There were shots we didn’t even know they were taking and I cannot explain enough how much those unexpected shots were my favorite. If there’s any decision you should make for your wedding or any event it’s to book with them! -

You won’t regret booking with Nikk! From the beginning when we did a phone consultation Nikk has been extremely professional, easy to work with, thorough, and responsive. We had a small ceremony with only ten people at a gorgeous venue and wanted someone who could capture the intimacy of a small ceremony in a way that fit with our personalities. Nikk was that person. He was laid back, unobtrusive, and gave us amazing direction when posing us. We are both super awkward when taking photographs but Nikk made us feel comfortable and made it a fun process and I just remember laughing almost the entire time. We received our photo gallery a little over three weeks after. Our photos came out even more stunning than I could imagine! It was a good mix of posed and candid photos. The candid photos make me so emotional when I look at them because they feel so intimate, authentic, and I don’t even remember Nikk being there to capture the moment. That’s how unobtrusive he is. He seriously worked his magic and has an amazing eye and made us look like we belonged in a magazine. Everyone that we have shown the photos to have said the same thing: they can feel the love and happiness radiating from everyone in each photograph. I can’t even begin to express how much we love our photos and how pleased we are with Nikk’s service. We would recommend Nikk to anybody! -

From the beginning, we felt fortunate to book Nikk as our photographer after viewing his portfolio. He was very clear and forthright about his own process and we continued to have wonderful interactions with him throughout, including when we, unfortunately, had to reschedule due to covid. Working with him on our wedding day enhanced the experience for us due to his enthusiasm and dedication to his art. He was excited from the beginning that we were to be married at Justine’s Secret House and his strengths really shone through in the many candid shots he took to capture the whole evening from the guests arriving through the gates to the closing dance party. Amazing! So happy with our decision!
My husband and I couldn't be happier to have worked with Nikk and his team. We first met Nikk a year earlier when he photographed my sister's wedding. After seeing how professional, easy-going, and overall great Nikk was to work with, we knew that we would want him to be part of our special day. Due to a tight schedule, Nikk could not capture our day, so he suggested we utilize his associate program, where one of his highly skilled associate photographers captured our wedding instead. While, at first, we were a bit nervous, Nikk reassured us that our photographer would be great and that Nikk would still handle all of the edits. Nikk made us feel so comfortable with this whole idea, and we decided to move forward, and we are so happy we did. Nikk's team was so professional and fun to work with; we had a blast the whole wedding weekend. If you are trying to decide whether or not to work with Nikk and his team, the answer is YES! I promise you that you will not be disappointed. I can't wait to cherish our photos for the rest of our lives. -

A Moment to Remember
Our wedding was a small and unconventional one, so it was hard to find a photographer to document the day. When I first browsed at Nikk’s site, I fell in love with his work. The pictures not only conveyed beauty, but they also told a story as well. I immediately booked him, and our consultation began. Nikk was really prompt and professional. On the day of, he not only captured the significant moments, but all the small details that could be easily overlooked. Looking back, we are so grateful to have Nikk document our day. When planning my wedding, I was nervous about all the various vendors, scheduling, whether they would show on the wedding day, etc… from the moment I first got into contact with Nikk, I knew I wouldn’t have to worry at all about working with him. He was incredibly responsive, and made me feel at ease from the first conversation.
As for the event itself, Nikk was very personable and friendly but completely non intrusive. My husband and I are super awkward but he made the process so easy and comfortable.
As for the photos, Nikk is a lighting wizard. Seriously. My wedding looks like something out of an Oscar winning movie. I am also not one to ever feel beautiful, but there are a lot of shots where he almost tricked me. For this, I am thankful.
I can’t recommend him enough and will be looking for his services for any other life event in the future that requires a photographer.

No other word except for PERFECT
Going with Nikk to capture our wedding photos was one of the best choices we made in planning our wedding. It's clear from his website that he is a very talented photographer, but I was blown away when our pictures came in. He captured every single important and special moment from all different angles and perspectives - if I didn't know better, I would have thought there must have been two of him! I have received so many complements on the coloring of the photos, and it's true, the way he edits the photos make them so romantic and simply so perfect. I've been to many weddings where the bride and groom have opted for multiple photographers and/or videographers, and although I'm sure the captured result is lovely, it tends to distract from the magic of the moment (for the guest at least, in my opinion). Nikk was unintrusive and was able to create a beautiful story of photographs from start to finish. He was also so helpful, responsive, and flexible when trying to plan the ceremony start time etc. - which is huge when you're trying to juggle a thousand different things to plan a wedding. I couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out, we will cherish them for a lifetime! -

Nikk and his associate Lindsey have been wonderful throughout the whole process! Nikk communicated every step of the way making sure we were familiar with the process. We were worried about having to pose for photos - which neither of us are good at, but Lindsey made it fun and casual. If we had to sum him up in only 3 words- above and beyond. When you choose a photographer, you’re choosing someone who is going to capture all the most important moments in your wedding. Nikk and his team did that and more. From our first contact email to the receival of our gallery, he was transparent.
Not only is he an honest person, he’s an AMAZING photographer! Our photos are more than we could’ve asked for- it’s the little moments that we didn’t even get to see in real time, things we wouldn’t have even known if they weren’t captured. Nikk is a rockstar!
All I can say is HIRE NIKK FOR YOUR WEDDING, EVENT, ANYTHING! We are absolutely blown away with our wedding gallery, and he even delivered it on Christmas Day!! If that doesn't say dedication to your clients, I don't know what does. Nikk made us feel so comfortable and ourselves the entire time. We've heard from countless guests how involved and in the moment he was our entire wedding, but I hardly even knew he was there especially during the ceremony!! Nikk was the first vendor we booked after finding our venue and date. We knew we wanted somebody who would be able to capture us naturally - and in the most beautiful way. He was always very quick to respond even though he is crazy busy! We had never taken professional photos before our engagement session with Nikk. He was so calm and made us feel relaxed in front of the camera. These were our most favorite photos to date. We were also lucky enough to have Nikk photograph our wedding with his amazing and sweet second shooter, Riley. 9 hours is a long day, and he knew exactly where to be at the right time. He honored every little last minute request and was truly a ninja with how he was everywhere, but not in an invading way the whole night. Nikk was again so calm and patient - even with our most passionate family members(I cannot stress enough how this was such a breath of fresh air, especially with our very large extended family coming at us from all angles at times). We will never be able to thank him enough for treating us and our family with such care. Nikk was for us the whole day, and made us feel so special. We will be sharing these photos for the rest of our lives and we could not have picked a better person to capture our love story or share our day with. 11.21.2021 was the best day ever. -

The best you can ask for!
My wife and I couldn’t be happier to have worked with Nikk for our wedding. Seriously, this guy is an absolute monster behind the camera, while also being extremely professional and easy to work with. My wife and I both are not the types who love to have our photos taken – we both tend to stiffen up and pose unnaturally, but Nikk made us feel incredibly comfortable while also making us look way cooler than we actually are. Everybody tells us we look like we belong in a magazine – it’s absolutely wild. His eye for capturing unique moments is amazing, and he gave us the perfect balance of moments throughout the evening that are intimate, candid, and posed – all of which are incredible. All of his shots feel cohesive together, and looking through our entire library actually feels like I’m following a narrative and reliving our wedding as if we were in the eyes of one of our guests. After our virtual meeting, we felt completely comfortable giving Nikk the freedom to join us and capture everything he wanted, while also capturing a healthy list of things we absolutely wanted. Nikk went above and beyond to capture everything we wanted, and then gave us way more than we ever thought we could need, all the while being very timely and professional. I’d recommend Nikk to absolutely anybody — it’s hard to express just how stoked we are with his work. -

Relaxed vibe, amazing photos!
I do not love being in front of the camera. I always get stiff and feel unnatural and uncomfortable so I was definitely nervous about our wedding photos. Nikk put me totally at ease. On our wedding day, his attitude was very relaxed and casual, which was incredibly comforting. He also blended in seamlessly to our small ceremony (20 people) and our larger reception so that we didn’t even know our picture was being taken. He captured the ceremony so perfectly without interrupting or distracting. He got so many good action shots and intimate moments at the reception. And the edits were perfect— every photo looks straight out of a magazine and we could not be happier. We loved having Nikk there on our wedding day and couldn’t have asked for a better gallery of wedding pictures! -

Nikk was so fantastic to work with! We loved having him photograph our wedding and felt confident that he would capture our precious moments. He was incredibly understanding with postponing the wedding due to the pandemic and was quick to respond anytime we had a question. Nikk's got such a strong range of experience that I was super excited to throw some unique requests at him with colored smoke photos that came out incredible! We picked Nikk for our wedding because we loved the light and tones in his photography. During our virtual interview with him we also loved his demeanor and his approach! The day of our wedding Nikk was on it, always there but never “in your face”. The photos are stunning and he literally captured every moment with zero direction from us, DUH he’s a professional! I’ve heard of brides wanting a set of shots or this and that, my approach was - let the professional do what they do best! And he did not disappoint. My biggest regret is not hiring a videographer but after seeing the moments captured by Nikk my nerves are settled and I am reliving the entire wedding through his photography and the moments he captured. Absolutely in love with the photos😍 the gallery he shared with us is massive and I literally don’t think he missed a beat! Hiring Nikk was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Not only is he responsive, professional and easy to work with - his talent and artistry is fantastic. He shot our engagement photos and our wedding photos and we've received so many compliments on both. After coming off the adrenaline-filled whirlwind of your wedding day, I can't describe how wonderful it is to receive your wedding gallery and see all the special details and moments he captured. The best photographer with the unique style
Nikk is the best in wedding photography! The first booking we made and the best desicion ever. After seeing his work online, we were extremely happy, that he was available on the day of our wedding! Nikk is extremely good at what he does. His pictures are amazing and unique (just look at his style!).
He is the professional you want to work with: communication and timing is amazing. He answers all you questions, provides useful information, and gives you hints what to do. The photoshot was easy and relaxing. Working with Nikk is just a pleasure and he gives you awesome directions to make you feel relaxed, the whole process is a great and happy experience. Our photoshot was in the Downtown Astin, and Nikk had some hidden gorgeous spots in the city! Streets, running across the street, rooftop skyline view, you name it! Nikk takes you to the best spots with the best natural light. His photos are fantastic! Colors, details, close ups, angles, Nikk is able to capture it all!
Just google his work to see the difference! His photos are a magazine quality, and his style is distinguishing! And we got our photo galery so quick! And we will print them all as we cannot choose the best, we have to have them all! It is a pleasure knowing such a ptofessional in photography. I am sure we will refer to him for other photoshots during our family journey. Thank you Nikk! You helped to make our wedding day even more special! -

We are so delighted to have found Nikk Nguyen Photo in a very small time frame. With everything going on these days I wasn’t sure if our wedding would happen so we waited the last minute and contacted Nikk a few weeks before the ceremony. He immediately messaged us and we felt relieved since there wasn’t time left. We asked Nikk if he would be able to just do a ceremony only type of wedding so we only needed him for 3 hours. He was very fletxible around it and told us he could and we were thrilled because his work is amazing. Nikk captures the mood and the way he sees the moment like he is painting a scene. He knows a lot of composition and creates the best images. Despite our wedding ceremony being very small he was able to put everything together so well. Our ceremony just consisted of us and our parents, sister, husband and son so only seven guests. He captured the small intimidate moment so perfectly. And we honestly thought we would get maybe three good images and that would have made us very happy. But to our surprise it was hard for us to choose which photos we wanted to have large prints of. We selected 4 extra large ones because they were like paintings and we need them on our walls in our home. We couldn’t have asked for anything better than these amazing lifetime captures that we can enjoy for many years to come. Looking at these images daily will always bring us back to that day. We recently had our wedding near Austin at Chapel Dulcinea and hired Nikk to photograph our event after seeing his work on Instagram. I knew I wanted Nikk to capture our wedding day before we were even engaged. I fell in love with his aesthetic and the way he captured such timeless moments. I'm really happy I chose Nikk for my Wedding Photos and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for beautiful artistic pictures.
To start, Nikk was really easy to work with, he was super quick to answer my emails and clarify any questions - as someone who cares about things being organized and stress free, I really appreciated it. The day of the wedding Nikk was punctual and super professional, he had a great attitude and was really pleasant to work with, I got only great comments from my guests.
And then the best part: the pictures were really amazing. I don't consider myself a photogenic person and I'm definitely not good at posing for pictures, so with ours being a small and short wedding I was a bit worried about having good photos to share with folks that couldn't make it to the wedding in person. We hired Nikk to do both our engagement photos & our wedding photos, and it was the best decision we ever made. Both my husband & I are so awkward when it comes to taking photos so we were really looking for a photographer that could take in the moment kind of photos & capture more of the little moments. Nikk did that and much more. When we first did our engagement photos, we immediately felt very comfortable with Nikk & we loved how natural we could be. Nikk was so nice & never made us feel awkward or uncomfortable while shooting. We originally didn't even want to do engagement photos because we hate taking photos that much, but Nikk made the whole experience a blast. We ended up having a really fun time & Nikk was able to capture all the fun we had. Our wedding was a destination wedding in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, during COVID. Nikk maintained great communication leading up to the wedding & made us aware that he was still down to be there for us even during these times. During the wedding weekend, Nikk was able to capture so many beautiful moments. He was able to be everywhere at the same time to capture everything. Our favorite photos from Nikk were the candid photos where he captured the feeling & emotion of the moment perfectly. Our family & guests were amazed at how fast he was able to take photos & that he was so good at being behind the scenes to capture the perfect shot. When we received the wedding photos, both our families & guests were amazed by them. Both our mothers cried when looking back at them. It's been 1 month now since we got married, & I've been looking at our photos everyday since we got them. Out of all the vendors we chose for our wedding, Nikk was our favorite. Nikk was absolutely amazing to work with! Due to the pandemic, our wedding day was anything but ordinary, and just about everything about our day had to be adapted. Nikk pivoted really quickly and was incredibly warm and kind. He was able to navigate our intimate ceremony with ease and professional wisdom, guiding us through an intuitive shot list in the moment. We are absolutely in love with our wedding album! We contacted Nikk to document our backyard wedding and he responded nearly immediately. We chose Nikk because of his gorgeous portfolio and calm professionalism. On our wedding day, Nikk arrived on time and went to taking photos almost immediately. We mostly forgot he was even there, which made for really relaxed and natural photos of our day. Amazing and easy going
Nikk was amazing! When I saw his work I knew we had to have him capture our wedding. Everyone would tell us to invest in our photographer and we totally agree!! If you want quality and unique photos don't hesitate on booking Nikk! We had our gallery in less than 2 weeks from our wedding! He captured beautiful moments between our family and friends. We had asked him to take a couple of pictures of us with our kids. I was a bit scared they wouldnt come out looking how we expected(we have little ones so having them pose perfectly is almost impossible lol) Somehow Nikk was able to capture the perfect pictures of our family!
