Charlie was the videographer for our wedding and he did a great job of ensuring that he got all the shots that we needed. We were very impressed by Charlie's work, which is why we hired him on the spot for our wedding. Charlie is very friendly and easy to get along with. He also was very focused on his work and getting all the footage. We can't wait to see our wedding video!! We know it will be awesome!!

My wedding video is perfect perfect perfect! I didn't know how it was going to turn out and I didn't know what material Charlie was going to use but I trusted him and I am NOT disappointed!! Our wedding video is very high quality and beautifully edited. Charlie was wonderful to work with on wedding day. He captured moments that my photographer couldn't. Do not skimp on a wedding video! You will be sorry.

Emily and Curtis were our photographers. They were AMAZING! They were so personal, and so detail oriented! Our photos turned out AMAZING and I have looked at them everyday since we got them back. It really helps relive our special day. I would recommend Southern Jewel to everyone! They are wonderful to work with!

Amber Jones was absolutely amazing. I was a very detailed bride, and she answered all my questions along the engagement process. We were so pleased with all our photos and she was a joy to have her their on our special day!

Charlie is awesome! He responded quickly to my emails, he understood what I wanted for my video and I got the videos so quickly! He arrived on time and ready to go and captured everything wonderfully! I would highly recommend booking Charlie for your wedding video!!

They are awesome!!! They always emailed me back so quickly, they're very affordable (if you want great quality pictures!!), and overall very pleasant to work with! It rained on my wedding day so I was a little worried about not having as pretty of pictures, but they are so great that you can't even tell it rained!! Highly recommend southern jewel!

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about SJP! If you are looking for a vendor in the Carolinas seriously just stop looking and go with them! They captured our day so perfectly, the pictures look like a dream! I looked back and my husband and I were saying, wow that was our wedding?! Amber was so great to work with, really knows what she's doing and so much fun! I rarely write reviews but they were so worth it! You'll be so happy I promise! :)

Know what you want and be sure to fill out their questionnaires;it helps them get the shots that you want and because of limited time you will have on your exciting day, they address your needs only. I absolutely loved Amber and her assistant. They were wonderful!!!

One word to describe the video put together by Charlie for Mark and Jordan's wedding....WOW!!! He did an incredible job capturing the day and the video will be a treasure for our family for years to come. Charlie was great to work with and he is very talented. We have received so many compliments on the video. The video exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend Southern Jewel Photography and Videography. One will not regret making this investment . Amber did an amazing job with my bridals!! They were booked for my wedding date but their associate photographers did an AMAZING job! We are in love with our wedding photos!! Thanks guys! Highly recommended!

Charlie did a great job on our videography, we love the video! I honestly barely saw him or noticed him thats how good he is at getting the shot but not being in the way of anything, he is like a ninja! we are so happy to have this video to be able to have forever and we are so glad we hired him!

So pleased with Southern Jewel and the superb job they did capturing all the memories on our special day. They were there the entire day from getting ready all the way up to our exit. Very prompt getting back to your emails, great value for the services, and most importantly very talented. We have been able to share our video with so many family and friends and everyone absolutely loves it. Our blue ray came with the entire ceremony, a long highlight clip of reception, and another shorter highlight of entire ceremony beautifully done to music. They even gave us all the raw footage. So thankful to have all this to cherish for many years to come!

Southern Jewel did an awesome job! From our engagement photos to our wedding photos and videography we could not be more pleased. Amber and Charlie have the sweetest personalities and make anyone feel comfortable. They are professional all while treating you like family! The quality of their work is impeccable! The video Charlie made for us to show at our reception still brings tears to my eyes. Our special day is unforgettable thanks to Southern Jewel!

Words cannot even express the gratitude we have to Southern Jewel Photography for filming and photographing our big day! They are amazing!!! Planning a wedding from 500 miles away can be a little difficult especially when you are unable to get the time to meet with your vendors before hand. Amber and Charlie helped to really make that less stressful planning before hand! We feel so blessed that Southern Jewel Photography was a big part of our day! Emily and Curtis shot such beautiful photographs on our wedding day and Brandon did beyond amazing on the video of our wedding! Emily, Curtis and Brandon were all very professional the day of the wedding. I knew the first moment I met them on our wedding day that the video and all photos would be perfect. My husband is in the Coast Guard and I am praying we get closer to South Carolina so when we have kids we can have maternity photos and such done by Southern Jewel Photography. We would spend extra money for them to travel to take our photos! From everything before the wedding to the wedding day and now after with receiving our blue ray dvd and usb drive with our photos VERY fast this company is perfect!!! You will regret it if you do not choose them for your photography and videography needs!! Can't believe the deal we got for this outstanding work! 8 hours of photography with 2 photographers and 8 hours of video with 1 videographer. You will pay double if not more for this type of work and time! Thank you so much again Amber, Charlie, Emily, Curtis, and Brandon for helping our day perfect and easy with no stress! You guys rock!!

STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING RIGHT NOW AND BOOK YOUR WEDDING WITH SOUTHERN JEWEL. No, seriously. Go do it. ;)

I stumbled upon Southern Jewel's website when I was planning my wedding and I am SOOOOO glad I did. One of the first things that drew me in was that they post their prices on their website. Being a budget conscious bride, I appreciated that they were honest and up front about their costs....and on top of that affordable!

Both Amber and Charlie are the greatest team to work with and made everything look so effortless. I was very particular in how I wanted my pictures to turn out and how I wanted to pose and Amber completely got my vision! In fact, my pictures turned out even BETTER than i had pictured!

Charlie did an amazing job on our wedding video. The quality of work he puts out is absolutely stunning and he has so much talent! He even had our video back to us within a couple weeks of our wedding which was amazing considering he got married the weekend AFTER us :)

I also had the photo booth at my wedding and it was a HUGE hit! All my guests loved it and had so much fun.

I could go on and on about how awesome this team is. But, long story short, if you want a pair of down to earth photographers that produce DANG GOOD work, then Southern Jewel is for you. Book them. :)

Southern Jewel Photography was the absolute best! Our warm, sunny wedding day fell victim to a cold front and Hurricane Joaquin and it downpoured for a majority of the day. Amber was extremely accommodating and worked well in what became a more crowded location for our pictures than planned (all pictures were supposed to be outside but had to be in the reception area with guests running around all over the place forcing us to remind everyone numerous times to stay out of our shots). She captured the day beautifully and used the weather to our advantage and took some truly unique photos we would not have had otherwise. The quality of the photos are amazing and our prints were edited and sent to us in an extremely timely matter. Amber is also a really sweet, kind, and fun person which made working with her even more of a pleasure. I would definitely recommend hiring Southern Jewel Photography for any of life moments you would like captured.

Southern Jewel did the photography, videography, and photo booth for my wedding. I don't even know where to begin with all of the good things I can say! I knew I liked them from the first time we met. They are some of the nicest people out there and I feel that they can get along with ANYone. They were hands-down my most responsive vendor, and the best at communication in general, which meant so much throughout the wedding planning process and also after. They always kept us in the loop and made sure that we were prepared and comfortable with everything going on. Unfortunately, there was a horrible storm the day of my wedding which changed what we had planned, but it did not change how amazing my photos and video turned out. Amber and Charlie were so calm even when feelings of stress were present, and they definitely helped me to stay calm as well. I was so amazed at how incredibly fast they were at getting the photos and videos back to us after our wedding. I have since gotten SO many compliments from my guests and everyone who has seen their work. My husband and I are SO thankful to have such wonderful pieces to look back on to re-live such a special day. Amber, Charlie, and their team are very talented at what they do and it clearly shows. Everything that they provide (physical and non) is worth every penny and more. Southern Jewel is the definition of a dream team, and our wedding wouldn't have been the same without them. We wouldn't replace them for the world!

I absolutely loved the turn out of my photos. I was very worried because it was pouring rain the entire day and didn't know how the indoor pictures would come out, but they were amazing! :)

I was a little hesitant about a videographer at first but after watching Southern Jewels past videos I knew we had to have Charlie as our videographer. Charlie joined us on our wedding day 9/12/15 and it was the BEST decision we ever made. He is absolutely amazing, very professional and a pleasure to work with. Charlie went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and our wedding video is a HUGE hit. So thankful for the many memories he caught on camera and how well he worked with the 200+ guests we had. Our family, my husband and I have nothing but positive comments about Charlie! From the first day we inquired with Southern Jewel they were always super responsive and treated you as their top priority 100% of the time.

Southern Jewel Photography/Videography is simply AMAZING! Charlie & Amber are the best of the best! From our Engagement, Bridal session, & Wedding pictures, Southern Jewel always brought tears to my eyes every time I would see the finished product. My husband and I couldn't imagine someone else capturing our special day. SJP knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to photography & videography. I guess it comes natural to them when you have a career in something you love and while the happy couple get to do it together. Now that our wedding has come and gone, I sit here and think "now when can I have another portrait session so we can work with Amber & Charlie again". :)
Most Brides think you don't need a Video to remember your special day, I must admit I was one of those Brides in the beginning. I am so happy we decided to do the Videography. I've watched our video over & over and its only been a month since the Wedding. It's the little things on your wedding day that you forget about & Charlie captures every moment possible.
So glad my husband & I can consider Charlie & Amber friends. If your looking for an Phenomenal photography group & great friends, SJP is the way to go!

Southern Jewel Photography is amazing! We booked them to do our Engagement shoot at our apartment & in our neighborhood in Asheville, NC. They came up & made us feel so comfortable with them even though we had not met them yet. They were prepared & professional & really fun to work with. We got a flash drive of all of our fully edited digital images within a week of having our shoot. I was shocked at how fast they got them to me. They were absolutely stunning! As soon as we saw the images from the engagement shoot, we knew we just had to hire them to photograph our wedding as well. We are so glad we did! We just got the flash drive of all of our images from the wedding & they are AMAZING! They caught every moment that we wanted to to capture & more! Well worth the investment! We definitely recommend them. They go above & beyond. You can tell they love what they do. Hopefully we will need another photo shoot in the future & we can book them again! Nothing but the best to say about Amber & Charlie!

We hired Southern Jewel Photography for our professional videography for our wedding and were very impressed! Charlie was very helpful and professional throughout the time we worked together and always answered e-mails in a timely manner. He did a wonderful job capturing all of the details we discussed and we were extremely happy with the finished product. Turnover was really quick, we were able to watch our video short while on our honeymoon! Fantastic service at an unbeatable price, win win!

Southern Jewel is amazing! Amber and Charlie are awesome to work with and so accommodating. The minute you meet them your mind will be made up. They make you feel comfortable and like family from the very first consultation. My husband and I were laughing non stop throughout our engagement photos and they just made it so natural. Amber and Charlie as well as other members of the team were amazing at our wedding too! The photos and video that we have could not be more perfect! I cried happy tears when we got it all back! And the photobooth was a huge hit! I just can't say enough about SJP! Amber and Charlie are not only crazy talented, but they are awesome people too! I highly recommend them!

Amber and Charlie were great! Very professional and even though they were taking photos and video, you didn't notice them. We're very respectful of the ceremony and captured all the important poses that I had made them aware of beforehand. One other great point is that my wedding was on a Sunday and I called them that Monday and even though it was so last minute they were very kind in accommodating me! I will definitely recommend them and use them for future events!

Southern Jewel Photography owners Charlie Jones and his fiance Amber were amazing. Many brides think they don't need a video but you do! Charlie does the video and his soon to be wife is there to help as she does the photography side. Let me just say they are an AMAZING TEAM! I had a few minor things happen (that had nothing to do with the video)and Amber was right there making sure I was a happy bride. She even bustled my dress! Not to mention Charlie making sure he captured every detail of the night. Our video is priceless. My whole family cries every time we watch it. It's just beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing with choosing Southern Jewel.

Amber and her assistant did a great job during our wedding. They were attentive to our requests and the peculiarities of our wedding, and they were able to be both flexible and well-prepared. I can't imagine how any other photographer duo could have done a better job, and we were particularly pleased with how much more affordable Amber's rates were compared with some other options out there. Highly recommended.

We did our engagement session with Southern Jewel and we couldn't be happier. Charlie and Amber were so fun to work with!! We came with a ton of ideas of things we wanted to do, and they ran around, squeezing everything we wanted to do into our hour long appointment - which was no easy task for them! Nothing but laughs the whole time - there was no awkwardness. They sent our pictures to us that same week and there are too many great shots to pick from. Working with them was great - they were always quick to answer my emails, which were loaded with millions of questions. The actual photo shot was a blast! We highly recommend them :)

Absolutely loved working with Amber and Charlie on our engagement photos! My fiancé and I were a little nervous at first, but they made us feel right at home! They not ony gave us beautiful pictures that give us special memories, but made the whole session a special time for us to remember as well! Amber took significant amount of time making sure she captured poses and ideas that we had in mind as well as provided her own experience in this genre of photography to capture some of the most amazing pictures I have ever seen! Not only was the shoot fun but it accomplished everything and more that we were looking for in engagement photos. Also, her flexibility to make it work with us living out of town was so nice! Amber with Southern Jewel Photography is fantastic! She exceeded mine and my husband's expectations for our wedding photos. Amber is very accomodating, energetic, timely, and organized. I met Amber through a friend who had previously used her for her wedding, and I could not wait to have her photograph my own wedding! She has a way of making you feel very comfortable and encourages you to challenge her to make your photos unique and special to you. She met with us several times prior to our event to go over details as they progressed and changed through out our 1 year engagement. I had specific poses and shots in mind prior to our wedding day, and she made sure to capture them all. Even when I felt overwhelmed and considered eliminating a photo opportunity because of time constraints, she would remind me that it was my special day and made it work! Our Christmas mini session was a great success! Amber was very accommodating and organized. This was very helpful with us having four children :) when we were finished with the mini session my oldest child (11) said Mom I'd liked to do this again! The pictures also turned out amazing!!!!

My husband and I LOVE all of our pictures from Amber Dixon. We had the pleasure of doing our engagement, bridal and wedding pictures with her. We were really camera shy during our first engagement shoot but Amber made us feel very comfortable and knew how to pose us in a natural way.
