I cannot recommend Southern Honeybee Photography enough! From engagement photos, to our wedding photos, the Photo Booth experience (if you’re on the fence do it, best memories) and videographer, they far exceeded any expectation we had! The beauty is in their artwork of photography and I’m so thankful I found them!
Emily became family from the start of this wedding journey and I can’t wait to call them when we need them on our next big journey, (starting a family, hopefully soon).
Money well spent and so thankful for meeting such amazing people who made the big day extra special! My husband and I just keep reliving our day through our beautiful photos! -

They were the first vendor we hired after choosing the venue and it was the best decision we made. Emily and her family are amazing at what they do, and so kind! Every one of them are organized, driven and 100% there for the Brides (or bride and groom if that's your thing). My wife and I were terribly let down by the venue and the only saving grace for us was Emily and her entire staff! Without hesitation they were consistently having to do other vendors jobs to ensure we had some sort of happy moments of our wedding. We truly cannot thank them enough for everything they did and feel as if we have now become part of their family!
Side note- Lyndsay (hope i spelled this correctly) is a beast! She was our number advocate, surprising us multiple times with her eye for details and the care for our needs. I imagine that she has taken on so much of others stresses and she does it with grace. I bet she gets it from her mama!
My only regret is that we didn't get any pictures of us with them! -

Where do I begin? My husband and I didn’t think we could afford photography for our wedding, and then we met Southern Honeybee Photography. We came across their both at a local wedding expo. Their beautiful converted horse trailer captivated our attention. After speaking with the owner Mrs. Emily and her staff we fell in love. She went over their photo package and not only did we realize we could afford it, it also included videography, and a Photo Booth!!!! The entire time between singing our contract and the arrival to our wedding the company was very responsive, understanding, and professional. The day of our wedding the company was very punctual, and we ready to go at exactly the time they said they would be. This meant a lot to us. Some companies show up at the start time and still have to set up. Not honeybee! They were able to be with both sides of the bridal party so that nothing would be missed. They were able to capture all of the photos prior to the ceremony starting and were able to blend in during the ceremony as to not take away from the moment. After the ceremony they were able to capture all of the photos we requested, and wrangle our wild bunch lol. Lindsey was so attentive to me during the photos. When I was getting tired and overwhelmed she we and grabbed me a chair and water so I could regroup, and same for my husband when he was getting too hot. There we more examples of this attentiveness through to out the night. They kept checking in with us to see if there were any photos we wanted captured during the night. Also get the magic mirror!!!!! It was such a hit. Our guests loved it and having the album to look at after the night was so nice. We just received our sneak peak from Mrs. Emily and the photos look beautiful. I can’t wait to see the rest. If you need a photography company Southern Honeybee is the one to choose. I didn’t just hire a photography company, we are a part of each others lives from here forward, and we will call on them for all our photography needs here forward. We are so happy to be a part of the Honeybee family.

Emily, her husband, and staff were excellent at providing videographer and photo booth services. My guests enjoyed their company. They were professional, and the photo booth was a fantastic add-on. My guests had a blast taking photos and using the props, and having the photos right after the wedding was immediate gratification. It allowed me to relive moments of the wedding and see candid photos. I love watching the video and relive the magic moments. They captured our day perfectly. -

The staff at Southern Honeybee Photography are absolutely amazing! They by far exceeded my expectations. They respond in a timely manner. They are super flexible and willing to work with any schedule whether it's with payments or scheduling the session. The day of my wedding my head photographer was Abby. She also did my engagement shoot. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She went through my shot list and made sure I got all the photos that I wanted. She made myself and all my girls feel comfortable and special during the day. She worked with my wedding planner to help keep my timeline on track. My second photographer mostly took pictures of the guys and they really loved her. She made it simple for them by saying things like serious, smile and magnum, so that the guys knew what faces to make. When we did the group photos and Abby was shooing, she made sure we had drinks because it was a hot day while we were shooting. I just got some sneak peaks of my photos and I am so happy with them. I cannot wait to see the rest. I will definitely be using them for future photography sessions and recommending them to everyone I know. -

We had the absolute best experience working with this team! It is a family owned and run business that treat you like you are their family. We did both the photography and videography option because we wanted to capture every moment and they really caught everything. Our photographer was the daughter of the owner and she helped me with my dress and the bustle, she helped me put on my veil, she even helped with my jewelry when we had an issue with my necklace. They are such honest and wholesome people that I would highly recommend them if you are looking for such great hospitality and small business support. They made our day memorable. -

The photographers and videographers for southern honeybee are absolutely amazing! Our pictures came out perfect and we are so excited about seeing our video! They were so kind and planned a schedule for the day to keep everything on track. They were very attentive to detail and making sure everything looked picture perfect. Wedding photography
Mrs. Emily and her team exceeded all expectations with their services, we knew we were going to love her the minute we saw her display. She was so loving, kind, sweet and helpful. We had them do our engagement photos and they were incredible, I have never been a fan of pictures of myself and I loved every single photo taken. We just received our sneak peaks from the wedding Saturday and I’m in tears again reliving the day through the pictures Emily and her team took. I could not imagine using anyone else from here on out. Please please if you want someone who wants your day to be everything you wanted and capture all the moments, use Southern Honeybee Photography. I promise it’ll be the best decision you’ve made! -

The entire team were amazing to work with. We originally booked Southern Honeybee for our wedding pictures then decided to book an engagement shoot. The pictures came out amazing! Such a great experience!
We hired Emily/Southern Honeybee Photography for our daughters wedding and couldn't be happier with the results. We met at one of the wedding shows and then made plans to meet a few weeks later at a Panera to get some more details.
When we arrived Emily was set up in a booth with her iPad so we could see more examples of her work. She laid out several different options for packages and is very flexible to work with.
Honestly it felt like we were talking with a friend.
After seeing her work it was an easy decision to make.
The wedding was last September (yes, just now getting around to writing this) but I have looked at the photos several times since then and seem to find a new favorite each time!
Emily and her assistant were pretty much invisible during the ceremony but got so many great shots! (I'd read reviews about other photographers blocking the view of the ceremony.)
By the time your child is an adult you think you've seen every expression they have but Emily captured the magic and joy that was just beaming out of the bride and groom without being in the way.
I also liked the way Emily and her assistant split up as the bride and groom were getting ready so we have photos of each.
It was great fun going through all the candids from the reception. It was a large wedding so it was nice to see how much everyone was enjoying themselves. Emily also made sure to get family group photos during the reception.
I wouldn't hesitate to hire Southern Honeybee Photography for any event!

Melanie Sent on 10/11/2018From day one Emily was very attentive and always kept communication. I was hesitant about where I would take pictures at the hotel. Emily met with my husband and I to walk around the hotel. Emily provided great ideas we didn’t think of! The day of the wedding, her team was amazing. Emily’s daughter was with me all day and she was the sweetest! She even helped me with things she didn’t need to. Definitely recommend them for anyone’s wedding, they are fantastic! Can’t wait to see how the photographs and videography came out! My husband loved the attention we got from the team and how well they worked with us.

Mrs. Emily stayed in contact with me up to the time of the wedding. I never once had to wonder if she remembered my wedding date, time or location. Her and her team were always on time! They captured my entire wedding just like I wanted it. I love my dvd’s and I’m lost for words when it comes to my photos and wedding album. You just have to see it! Their price was THE BEST on the market, it’s nothing compared to all the other vendors I checked out. Thank you soooo much Southern Honeybee Photography!! You’ll forever be my photography and videography team!!

Brittany Sent on 09/14/2018Love Emily! I ended up not liking our engagements that we took the first time (mainly due to the location) and she was willing to do a retake! (Anywhere of my choice with 3 outfit changes) Scott helped out during our wedding and he was absolutely amazing as well! I showed them pictures and gave them my ideas to help them visualize what pictures I wanted! Emily felt like family in all of our time spent together! There’s sooo many great pictures just from the wedding alone, I wish I could hang them all! Thank you so much Emily and Scott! We will cherish every photograph!

Terrible Nightmare
Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a real professional photographer. Don't be fooled by these other reviews. My wedding was 11/12 and the photos that I received back were awful. I'm embarrassed to even post any yet frame them. I have nothing to show from our special day expect blurry over edited photos. I only have other guests photos that were taken better. It takes more than just having a fancy camera to take quality photos. I let them re edit the photos and still errors were found. I've now had to pay another photographer to fix the mistakes that can be fixed. So many moments were missed and I can't get that back. Such a lack of variety and true artistry. -

Terrible. My dream wedding was in October. Everything was perfect the day of even the photographers however, as of December I have finally got some of my photos back. then another like 3 weeks went by and i was trying to get in touch because it wasnt ALL my photos and i had NO VIDEOS. She finally sent me a usb in January with everything even though we discussed meeting in person and getting it because i had issue with the mail before but instead she just puts it in the mail and sends me a photo of the tracking info and no message just the photo. I have yet to get the trailer video she was suppose to make me and she still owes me money. The communication is my biggest issue. The family went through alot during the hurrican season and me and my family were very supportive and I feel as if we went above and beyond to give leeway to the photographer and owner of the business however we have not heard from her in months even after daily calls, texts and emails. She was a very nice lady with great people working with her during the wedding she just can't follow through and I don't wish this upon any bride, ever. Having the day you dreamed out be perfect to only find out the photos and videos may never be seen again is heartbreaking.
I will also note the only time i got a response back almost immediately back was when i threatened legal advise. Then i got this huge message with what im calling excuses now because if she would have been upfront with me from the beginning (if shes even telling the truth now) i would have been WAY more sympathetic, but, its been 3 months now and im over it all the empty promises and lack of responses are ridiculous.
