Kira officiated for us in San Diego and she was nothing short of amazing! She was so flexible and willing to make sure the ceremony felt like us. We had so many of our guests come up to us after the ceremony and say how it was the best ceremony they've been to and that it felt personal to us as a couple. I cannot speak highly enough of Kira and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant. She made our day so memorable!

Valerie was not only a fun person to hang out with, but was a highly professional and enthusiastic officiant as well. She was VERY flexible and polished as we were married at a waterfall far from Portland.
She arrived on time and was well prepared, speaking clearly without a single error in the rather eclectic ceremony we created.
We can't say enough good things about Valerie NewComer and My SouthSound Wedding...
From start to finish, it was just perfect! Well done!!!

The wedding event went really great and interesting. My wife and I were very happy and pleased about the whole ceremony. The florist, Megan, was very professional and also of great help - she assisted my wife in fixing her veil and the flowers were very beautiful. The photographer, Patrick, was very energetic and excited to cover the wedding. The officiant, Terry, was very professional and provided for a beautiful ceremony. We also had random people stop to take pictures of us while the event was ongoing so it was a very memorable one.
Ashley who was my main point of contact for all correspondence with south sound wedding was very helpful the whole time. She responded promptly to all my emails and kept the communication going before and even after the event. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

KIRA WAS THE SWEETEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD!
I honestly could not have imagined a wedding going smoother than this. She was so bubbly and smiley and personable. Everyone loved her readings, as did we. I honestly could not say enough good things about her. She was checking in all the time (knowing that I was a basket-case trying to plan a wedding) to make sure we were all set. I absolutely adore her. 12/10, would recommend her a million times over.

Shirelle officiated our small wedding, and we're so glad that she did! If I ever had a question or concern she would reply quickly and go over everything until I felt comfortable with how the ceremony was going to go. And on the day of the wedding she showed up an hour early to talk about all of the details with us again just to reassure me and my now husband :) with all of the communication and help we received throughout the months, I definitely think South Sound Weddings is worth the price! I highly recommend them for large and small weddings alike :)

David Pate was a pleasure to work with during our wedding planning and made everything so easy. We appreciated his professionalism and his input on how to keep our ceremony running smoothly. We had Ashley officiate our wedding and could not have been more pleased. She planned all the details and created a beautiful experience for us. We couldn't decided on the place to do our ceremony so Ashley offered her and her husband's sail boat. Brian captained the boat and took pictures, while Ashley served us a delicious, romantic dinner as we glided around Pt. Defiance and Gig Harbor. Could not have been more perfect! If you are getting married in Gig Harbor or the surrounding area, I would HIGHLY recommend Ashley and Brian.

Meg was fantastic and I'm so happy she officiated our wedding! She was early to the rehearsal and ceremony, which made me feel comfortable and one less thing for me to worry about. She did a fabulous job and made our day even more special.

Erica was such a wonderful officiant. She found a reading that fit my husband and I perfectly since we did not want a very religious wedding. She was also willing to drive out to Canby which is quite a drive for her. She was available to talk to when I had questions and she got back to me quite quickly. She made our special day very personalized and I am so happy with how our small wedding turned out.

Ashley Bugge was our officiant. She executed a phenomenal ceremony. The ceremony was definitely the highlight of the day and it was all thanks to her. Throughout the wedding preparation she was extremely helpful. She responded quickly and was always comforting. Ashley has a very upbeat and positive attitude. She is kind and truly cares for people. Hi,
i just got married and me and my wife we're both from germany.We always had the dream to get married in the US. It was way harder that expected. So we looked for a Officiant for a long time. Since we met ashley,
she was just perfekt, she made our wedding to something spezial.
She was Professional and always helpful. We really enjoyed the time with her.
She helped us with a location with a photography and pretty much everything else.

She act like it was somebody from her familie or best friends, she really act like a familie member from day one.
We never had the feeling that this was "just a job" for her.

I highly recommend Ashley!!!!

What an amazing experience! Me and my husband are such a lucky people to find South Sound Wedding. Kira happened to be our officiant. We asked her to stop by our house to get to know each other before the ceremony, and we got amazed by how sweet she was. We felt very comfortable in her company. We asked her many questions regarding the ceremony and she seemed very excited answering them with a big smile, because she absolutely loves what she does. On June 10 2016 Meg (my officiant) had conducted my wedding ceremony and it was honestly the best experience possible. She did everything that was asked and more. The best part was that she agreed to do my ceremony in such short notice. Everything she offered was well worth the price, experience, and knowledge. If I had the chose to redo it I would just because she made me experience it better than anyone else could. Thank You!

My now husband and I planned an mountain elopement/tiny wedding in Seattle area. We found Meg with Sound Wedding and she was absolutely amazing for our needs! She easily understood our idea for a hiking wedding, contributed to making the ceremony more vivid based on our ideas. Meg was very accommodating to the changes we needed in the ceremony write-up and was especially open to making our day special by agreeing to hike along with us and officiate at the end of the trail.

I especially found Meg to be sweet, patient (wedding was behind schedule by 1hr) and we were blessed to have her officiate our wedding. It was truly a memorable day, filled with emotion and we are grateful to Meg for being a part of that memory for us.

Ashley and David were great to work with, extremely helpful, and did exactly as I asked. My husband and I got married and wanted to be able to say I do and everything without a marriage license so they put together an amazing ceremony just as you would normally but more as a commitment ceremony and provided the info I needed to change my last name. Provided great service at great price! Thank you you guys were amazing! :)

When planning our wedding my fiancé and I didn't put much thought into our ceremony and wanted it short and sweet. We now realize the ceremony sets the tone for the entire wedding! And Ashley as our officiant was amazing! She gave us step by step instructions and organized the whole thing including the rehearsal. Ashley went above and beyond our expectations in all aspects and everybody was raving about how nice the ceremony was. We will definitely use her again in 30 years if we renew our vows :)

Ashley was absolutely amazing! My husband and I had an extremely last minute wedding plan and Ashley managed to put our whole ceremony together in less than a week and at a very affordable rate. She made everything so personalized and romantic, it was exactly what we wanted. She was super quick to respond to our emails and answered any questions I had very thoroughly. She made a very stressful last-minute plan super easy and provided amazing services. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Working with South Sound Weddings was an absolute pleasure! Ashley was fast and efficient at responding to our initial email (8 minutes to be exact!) and putting us in contact with David as our wedding officiant. David was exactly what we were looking for in an officiant-relaxed, easygoing, and fun to work with. He was very responsive to emails, open to meeting with us multiple times, very professional, and knowledgeable about the marriage certificate process. During the ceremony, he spoke loud and clear and set a relaxed yet formal tone to our ceremony. Wow, what can I say about Ashley? I could fill up a page and a half with all of the great things she has done for my wife and I. First of all, she was so open, warm, and welcoming during the stressful time of planning a wedding. She gave us some great ideas and helped us move forward when we got stressed and bogged down. The poor woman was hit with the flu the week of my wedding but that did not stop her at all! She was amazing, my family and friends all loved her and continue to talk about how amazing of a job she did. Ashley has the wonderful talent of making weddings personal towards the couple and we words caused everyone to cry out of sheer joy. She is someone I would recommend 10 times over, and I hope to stay in touch with her. Thank you again!

When it came to our wedding, we wanted someone who was going to take the time to get to know us and really talk to our guests about our love.
Ashley was not only professional and personal, but she was kind, understanding of our needs, and extremely flexible. Plus, our guests loved her! We keep getting comments on her humor but also on how sweet she was.

Ashley with South Sound Weddings is wonderful. She was very timely from the moment I contacted her to book her services. We spoke on the phone that same day. She was always very responsive with emails too. Thank you for officiating our wedding ceremony. It was very lovely. People said they liked the length, long enough to appreciate it, but not to long. We received a lot of compliments about how sweet and unique it was. We liked how you had the girls stand up with us and made a couple suggestions of how to make our ceremony better! Ashley was very friendly and easy to talk to. She provides example readings and vows that helped us start writing our vows. She incorporated everything we wanted to beautifully and received a TON of complements on our ceremony and readings from our guests. She read our ceremony clearly and loud enough for all to hear without a microphone. She also directed our wedding rehearsal and had everything in control - it went smoothly and she knew how to address all of our concerns. I give Ashley my highest recommendation!

Ashley was amazing! She was quick to respond, easy to work with, and incredibly comforting. Our engagement was a short 2.5 months, but Ashley was flexible and eager to work with us. The ceremony she created was personalized to our story, and allowed for us to write our own vows and add a special reading. There wasn't a dry eye at the ceremony! The talk of the remainder of the night was of how amazing she was, and how intimate the ceremony felt to our 20 guests. She felt like part of the family! I would recommend Ashley to anyone, and I will absolutely keep her in mind for a vow renewal down the road.

Shirelle was AMAZING! We booked on a two day notice and she was very accommodating. We also didn't have poems, or other passages we wanted to be read at our ceremony and in the few short phone conversations, she chose the best passages for us, and they were perfect! We were married on a sailboat, very small and intimate and it was like having another friend with us by having her officiate. Would highly recommend her and if we renew our vows, we will definitely include her. Thanks so much Shirelle!

We had an emergency situation with the wedding and Ashley stepped into the role of Officiant two weeks before the wedding and I consider it to be a blessing in disguise. Ashley was incredibly professional, thoughtful, and helped us make our ceremony into something meaningful and well organized! The ceremony was beautiful and Ashley's warm smile and welcoming presence made me feel relaxed and at ease during a very emotionally-charged time of my life. Ashley is great! She's so sweet, very professional and fun to work with. She was helpful throughout the process, especially being we were from out of town. She responded quickly, gave us suggestions on where to find a caterer, and music etc. She was patient, and always in good spirit. Her character is very easy to be with - offering a service that was perfect, and personalized. Her rehearsal was extremely helpful. Ashley knows what she's doing, and it shows. I would highly recommend her to be your officiant!

Ashley Bugge was absolutely amazing! Also contacted me right back, arrived on time, did a beautiful ceremony, and was terrific with the small kids I had running around during the wedding. She was sweet, and smiling, and just awesome. I would recommend her to any one any time.

We were very honored to have Ashley officiate at our wedding. She was warm, friendly and very passionate about what she was doing. She read the vows in a sincere way. we requested a Christian ceremony and she prepared and quoted very appropriate biblical scriptures as she performed the ceremony. I'm so beyond PLEASED with my wedding. Ashley made our day so special. My fiancé and I were very last minute and had to plan a wedding in 2 days. I would have gone crazy if it wasn't for her help and support! She opened her home to us and also provided us two witnesses. She also provided us with a professional photographer. The wedding was affordable and just amazing. She made our day so special and romantic. She made us feel so welcomed and relaxed. They are so awesome!!! Ashley's husband is the one who did the officiating, and he did awesome! We had never met them before the wedding, but we felt like we had known them for a long time..they are so laid back, yet eager to be involved and help..we couldn't have asked for a better team to be involved in our special day..you can see the love that they share, in the way that they interact, and they put that love into helping make your special day even that much more special! Ashley was our officiant for our wedding on 05/24/2014 in New York City.

Ashley consulted with us several times prior to our wedding day, and made herself available to answer questions and go over details to ensure we were comfortable with what she had planned for our ceremony. Ashley took care of the wedding certificate and ensured that she was prepared with the proper entitlements, as this was an out of state wedding.

Ashley was present at our rehearsal dinner, and took time to walk through each step of our ceremony. Ashley was extremely organized and was the glue that kept us together on our wedding day. Ashley's calm presence & organizational skills made us feel extremely comfortable and put as at ease.

Our wedding was perfect!! She immediately turned in all of our paperwork for us, which allowed us to stay with our guests to take pictures and celebrate. Ashley even took care of handling our cash to pay the vendors, which included the DJ, Photographer and wedding venue. We had nothing to worry about! It was perfect. We truly appreciate all of Ashley's hard work to ensure that our wedding day was perfect.

We would highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for an officiant.

My husband and I planned an mountain elopement/tiny wedding in Seattle area. We found Meg with Sound Wedding and she was absolutely amazing for our needs! She easily understood our idea for a hiking wedding, contributed to making the ceremony more vivid based on our ideas. Meg was very accommodating to the changes we needed in the ceremony write-up and was especially open to making our day special by agreeing to hike along with us and officiate at the end of the trail.

I especially found Meg to be sweet, patient (wedding was behind schedule by 1hr) and we were blessed to have her officiate our wedding. It was truly a memorable day, filled with emotion and we are grateful to Meg for being a part of that memory for us.

I came acrossed this officiant after finding my photographer and finding out that he was married to the officiant! So they came as a package deal :) which knocked out 2 birds with one stone for my wedding planning.

No issues, we didn't have any special vows so it was left to the officiant to give us examples and kind of fill in the rest, which they were beautifully put.

Only "complaint" (if any) would be is that I found out the officiant was not going to go to the rehearsal without being paid an additional $100. We were tight on funds and figured this service would be included once we had just paid the entire bill a week or 2 before. We ended up not having her come to the rehearsal and set it up ourselves since our wedding party was pretty small, which worked out fine.

They were a great option for our needs and budget when it came to what we wanted for our ceremony (we wanted a short and simple ceremony). Our wedding hit a snag when our original officiate had a family tragedy occur. With only a week and a half to go before our day I was able to find Courtney who saved the day! The ceremony was wonderful just as we planned it.

Showed up 2 hours late, audio equipment did not properly work, and the officiant pronounced us MR and MRS Young... our last name is Swanson.

When confronted about all the errors the officiant Troy just kept saying he had all these other weddings that were far bigger this week and next, that he was worried about. I was shocked. No accountability.
