Thank you for a magical day!

My husband and I could not fully convey how amazing and special our wedding ceremony was. Sarah took our request for a simple and romantic vow exchange and delivered a truly heartfelt, elegant, and intimate ceremony that we will never forget. We both expected to be swept away by the moment, but we couldn't account for how Sarah would take our closest family and friends on the ride with us. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. We are so touched by Sarah's kindness - from ensuring all our paperwork was taken care of, to checking in on us individually before the ceremony - we cannot imagine anyone else doing a more fantastic job. Sarah was a complete professional, and it was immediately apparent that she genuinely loves uniting couples in love. We are so happy to leave this review and can only hope others take our advice and hire South Jersey Wedding Pros! Shout out to Sarah 🙂

10/10 Experience!

We had an AMAZING experience with Patrick and Stacey! I appreciate how much effort obviously went into their website/planning process because it allowed for such low-stress planning on my end. They are true professionals at their craft while being so friendly and warm that we felt like we were with old friends. We brought our 8 week old baby and they could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I loved every part of my wedding!

Exceed expectations

I was a little nervous using a service I found online but it turned out to be the best decision. Patrick and Stacy were wonderful to work with. All our questions were answered promptly and they guided us through the process seamlessly. We received a preview of our photos the next day and they are beautiful. Patrick added humor to our ceremony which added some fun and kept it light, just as we envisioned. Both he and Stacy suggested different poses for our pictures as well as some natural pictures of walking the beach. We couldn't be happier and they pulled this all together on very short notice. If you want a beach wedding, I highly recommend Patrick and Stacy. They exceed our expectations.

Helped make our elopement magical!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with Stacy and Patrick for our picnic elopement and not only were they a joy to work with, but their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for creating magical moments made our day perfect.

With the weather forecast predicting thunderstorms on our original date, Patrick took the initiative to reschedule our ceremony, ensuring that we had clear skies and the perfect golden hour setting for our ceremony and photoshoot. The ceremony was just what we dreamed up, and made both of us tear up at times! We also just got our photos back and they are so beautiful.

Amazing and memorable custom wedding ceremony!

We hired Chaplain Patrick to officiate our wedding ceremony and he did an incredible job! Let's be honest, wedding ceremonies can sometimes be quite boring and just a hurdle on your guests' path to the cocktail hour. But with Patrick's ceremony it will become one of the highlights of your day. Our guests were talking about the ceremony all night and the next day because of how special it was. Patrick's approach is thoughtful, considerate, and unique. He knows how to weave in the right amount of humor to keep your guests engaged but also how to make it a special ceremony that perfectly reflects the couple. He creates space for the couple to take in the moment and be present on a day where things go by way too fast. We would highly recommend the gold package as the custom ceremony was what made it so memorable for us and enjoyable for our guests. Bottom line: On a day that will be chock full of memories, Chaplain Patrick delivers an amazing experience that will be at the top of that list.

Absolutely awesome

I must say for never meeting Patrick or Stacy prior to the wedding day, it was absolutely 💯 flawless. Everything that we had discussed and decided on in months worth of emails, even last minute add ons and changes all came to life. I had soooo many questions in the 6 months of planning and I felt like I was the most annoying bride to be that ever existed. But Patrick and Stacy were so professional and ensured me that I was not the worst bride ever and they calmed me so much during this whole process. And I'm sure some of my questions were probably really silly. Patrick is an awesome, amazing officiant and so much more. My guests were talking about him for days after my wedding about how full of life he was and not a serious stiff dude. But instead very entertaining and down to earth. The tone of his voice, personality and attentiveness brought the ceremony I dreamt of to life. Stacy and Patrick are absolutely amazing at what they do. Every single thing I wanted and my now husband wanted, they made sure it happened. On the morning of our wedding I was freaking out, Patrick came to my room before my ceremony to check in on me and give me the rundown. I'm telling y'all if you are looking to get married within a budget and looking for a smaller more intimate gathering, Stacy and Patrick at South Jersey Officiants is the way to go, I promise you are in good hands and will be floored on what they can put together. Wedding 4/21/22

Can not say enough about our wedding experience. Wasn’t sure what to expect having a small wedding without ever even talking to chaplain Patrick. He was great! The ceremony was even more perfect than we could even imagine. Patrick and Steve from silver image photography were professional and friendly and took care of everything and made it fun . Steve’s pictures are unbelievable. Never thought this “little wedding “ and photos would be as amazing as it was. Would recommend Patrick and Steve to anyone. They are also great with our grandkids. The only down fall was so many great pictures it is so hard to picture your favorite. We would highly recommend

A wedding ceremony that’s so much more than just a ceremony

Patrick and his wife Stacy made our ceremony so easy for us to plan! They truly catered to what we wanted and told our story so beautifully. Patrick asked me what we wanted from our ceremony I told him I wanted people to laugh, cry, and just feel our love. To say he delivered would be an understatement. The absolute best of the best!!

Chaplain Patrick is the absolute best!! He was a dream to work with and our ceremony was absolutely gorgeous all thanks to him!! He said the most beautiful words and shared our love story perfectly. I will forever be so grateful to him and his wife, Stacy, for all their great work. The detailed questionnaire was the perfect way for him to get to know us and he officiated such a fun and lovely ceremony. Everyone raged about our ceremony and it was truly my favorite part of our wedding! If you’re like me and find most wedding ceremonies to be a complete bore, hire chaplain Patrick as your officiant because your ceremony will be anything but boring! We all laughed and cried.

Perfect, everything we wanted!

Me and my husband could not be happier with how perfect everything was! We decided last minute that instead of a big wedding we just wanted to get married and have a small ceremony with our closest family there. Patrick was outstanding!

We cannot say enough great things about Patrick and South Jersey Officiants. We wanted our ceremony to be memorable and also include some humor. Patrick NAILED it. All of the guests were raving about the ceremony and our officiant. Not only was he an amazing officiant, he was a life saver a few times throughout the day - from helping us properly pin the guys boutonnieres to showing up early and making sure the ceremony room temperature was perfect. Perfect for us

We wanted a ceremony light on formality and that engaged our guests instead of putting them to sleep. Patrick nailed it. My husband and I eloped using South Jersey Officiants last year. It was the best secret coffee shop wedding a couple could ask for. It was professional and friendly and I would highly recommend them to someone who wants to go the route that we did. Couldn't have asked for a better ceremony!

Chaplain Patrick and SJO are the best! My husband and I are so happy with how everything turned out and we have been receiving so many positive comments from our wedding guests raving about the ceremony and Chaplain Patrick. Before booking with SJO, my husband and I had an hour-long Facetime meeting with Chaplain Patrick to make sure he was a good fit. We knew within the first five minutes that he was the person meant to officiate our wedding ceremony. He truly took the time to get to know us and understand what we were looking for in our ceremony. He also provided a number of recommendations that we incorporated into our wedding. He truly did a phenomenal job. Once we decided to move forward with SJO, communication, booking and payment were all handled online, making the whole process super convenient. We are so appreciative of Chaplain Patrick and all he did to help us have our best day ever. I can’t recommend him enough!

We love Chaplain Patrick! He officiated our marriage and recently our vow renewal on 9/15/18. He did an amazing job, the ceremony was so meaningful and heartfelt. I think we enjoyed our vow renewal ceremony more than the original lol! He really tailors it to you as an individual couple, it didn't feel like a generic cliche ceremony that could be used for any wedding. Our guests just couldn't say enough positive things about him and the ceremony!

He also still had record of our original vows so we didn't have to dig them up. :) He and Stacy were always very quick to respond to any questions and were so helpful with the whole process. We just can't recommend him enough, you truly won't be disappointed!

Reverend Yvonne was wonderful from the get go. She helped us personalize our ceremony and make it our own for a memorable ceremony. She made it less stressful the day of and helped us understand all of the procedures that go into the legal side of marriage. We can't say enough about South Jersey Officiants!. It was so easy to work with them. We especially liked the ease of our initial meeting with Reverend Yvonne because we were able to to by Skype. She listened to everything we wanted and did not want, and she set up a customized wedding itinerary for us. Unfortunately, she had a medical emergency the day of our wedding, so she was not able to perform the ceremony. However, the whole staff moved into action, and Chaplain Patrick made it to our venue with only an hours notice. The wedding went off on time, and it still felt personal and special. Several of our guests even asked how long we knew him, and we had to say "we met him 10 minutes before the ceremony". It was amazing, and we highly recommend them!

I have to give them a 5.0. With less than a week to set everything up they were very responsive and accommodating. Chaplin Patrick was well prepared, and did an outstanding ceremony. We did the private ceremony, and used the photographer they recommended, who was incredibly flexible and had lots of ideas for shots.

Chaplain Patrick Anthony was one word: INCREDIBLE! When we found South Jersey Officiants on Wedding Wire and I submitted an inquiry, we met with Patrick at a small coffee shop not too far from our house for a brief consultation. We both knew the second we left that night that the decision to chose Patrick as our officiant was a no brainer! His passion for being an officiant truly shows and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to be a part of our special day. We chose the Gold package where he added a more personal touch to our ceremony and everyone RAVED about him! Our guests absolutely loved him and the way he kept everyone laughing and completely absorbed into what he was saying. Whenever I had a question, Patrick was extremely communicative, quickly responded to the millions of questions that I had and made me feel completely at ease with the entire process and promised that everything would be fine, and it was! My wife and I knew that finding the right person to officiate our wedding would be an important decision that we had to make. We also knew it wouldn’t be the easiest choice. I’m a Jewish Giants fan and my wife is a Catholic Eagles fan. We’ve always operated under a loving theory of mutually assured respect for each other’s traditions and decided early on that we wouldn’t feel comfortable with either of our respective family’s traditions. That’s fine, given our emphasis on breaking through the cliché. Our wedding was going to be held in South Jersey at Valenzano Winery. However, neither of us had ties to the area. Luckily, our caterer suggested we reach out to South Jersey Officiants. After making initial contact with South Jersey Officiants and some preliminary e-mails, we set up an appointment via Facetime to speak with Reverend Yvonne. She spent an hour just talking with us, getting to know our story and what makes us tick. Knowing our love for wine, Reverend Yvonne suggested we have a wine blending ceremony. We fell in love with the idea right away. After that our Facetime meeting, we mostly communicated via e-mail as she helped lay out the plan for the ceremony. Despite my wife and I both being attorneys, neither of us had any idea of the registration requirements for the Certificate of marriage. Reverend Yvonne had our back guiding us through the process. Likewise, we were provided with helpful suggestions for readings and vows. On the big day, Reverend Yvonne made our ceremony pure magic. She hit all the right notes…from the sensitive to the silly… that made our ceremony beyond our expectations. You wouldn’t know that we had first spoken to Reverend Yvonne less than three months prior to our ceremony. Her insight into us was uncanny to say the least. Working with the South Jersey Officiant team was just amazing. Stacy, Patrick and Paul were all great to work with and made our day go by flawlessly! Chaplain Paul did a phenomenal job incorporating the elements we were looking for into a beautiful, emotional ceremony So many of our guests had wonderful things to say about how personal our ceremony was, and they couldn't believe that Paul was not one of our nearest and dearest friends (we found him on the internet!)! Paul was so confident and calm throughout the entire ceremony, it all went off without a hitch. We elected not to have him at the rehearsal, which I was nervous about, but he crafted the whole thing where my DH and I just had to "follow directions." And it went perfectly! WOW. JUST WOW.

My fiance and I are both in the wedding/event industry and when it came time for us to choose an officiant, we were completely stumped. We didn't want to get married in a church, we aren't incredibly religious, and we also didnt want a boring ceremony that guests tune out of except for some of the good parts. We were lucky enough to be referred specifically to Chaplain Patrick and were so incredibly comfortable the moment we met him and he helped us customize our ceremony. After getting to know us, he gave us lots of ideas and options for things to include and we choose the things that felt right. Fast forward to this past Saturday, at our wedding eremony, we were so impressed with him and how everything was delivered. Our wedding was exactly what we wanted. It was personal and customized, captivating and even interactive. We received so many compliments from our vendor friends and all of our guests. I cried the first time I met Patrick!! The way he talks about love is beautiful. He is so wonderful and makes everything extremely personalized. My husband and I had some unique requests for the ceremony and he rolled with all of our ideas, and also added in parts that we loved! Our ceremony was very emotional, funny, sweet, romantic, and full of surprises. All of the guests loved Patrick. Although I loved my whole wedding, the ceremony was surely the most beautiful and special part because of Patrick's thoughtfulness. Thank you for everything, we love you! We had Chaplain Patrick Anthony officiate our ceremony, and it was absolutely wonderful. So many people came up to us asking how we found him, and that everything he talked about was so personal and heartfelt. I am so grateful that he allowed me to customize our vows and ring exchange, as well as pick a unity ceremony that meant more to us than just candles and sand. He did not hold back wrangling the bridal party to get them ready to walk down the aisle and explaining how to not pass out while standing up at the front haha! He was also super helpful in making sure our marriage paperwork was submitted so we didn’t have to worry about it. Thank you so much for doing such a fantastic job!

Yvonne was simply amazing!! Guests are STILL talking about the ceremony and how wonderful it was. Yvonne took a lot of time to get to know us and listen to the type of ceremony we wanted, and she went above and beyond to make the day as perfect as possible. There needs to be 10 stars, because honestly 5 just doesn't cut-it. The reviews you read here are true, you will not be disappointed or stressed. My guests RAVED and RAVED about the ceremony during our reception and after. We all know how rarely that ever happens. We asked for the platinum package, and it was worth every single penny. I met Patrick about a year ago while searching on Wedding Wire for an officiant. Upon meeting him, it was obvious he was the perfect choice. His style was so unique and made us feel that our wedding ceremony was going to be one of a kind. I was raised catholic and it was not an easy decision to not get married in a Catholic Church. I found South Jersey Officiants via this site and I am beyond thankful! Chaplain Patrick was simply amazing! Even my dad (catholic man) was impressed and thankful we hired him! Words can not express what an AMAZING job Chrissey Ladd did. She arrived early the day of the ceremony to scope out the area and meet our families. She created a ceremony unique to our needs. I am Jewish and my husband is Catholic so we wanted a ceremony less religious and more focused on our love and our family. She did just that. She honored my husbands decreased father in a tasteful and meaningful way. But overall our favorite part was how she helped us involve our 9 nieces and nephews into our ceremony. Chaplain Patrick was an amazing officiant. We sat down from day 1 to get a vision of exactly what we wanted for our ceremony. We found South Jersey Officiants through Wedding Wire and I am so glad that we did! Chaplin Patrick was very organized and extremely easy to work with. Our ceremony was perfect - everyone was laughing and crying (at the appropriate moments of course!). After the ceremony a bunch of our guests told us how much they enjoyed Chaplin Patrick and how unique our ceremony was. The experience was amazing - after our initial meeting and paperwork was taken care of, I felt extremely comfortable with what our ceremony was going to look like, and it was even better than I expected! Oh my gosh. What a day. Terrific is all I can say! Chrissey Ladd was the officiant at our wedding. She was sweet, nice and lead us through the whole process step by step. I had never been to a gay wedding, let alone my own, but she had great ideas, was organized, and made us feel great. She was on top of everything. Chaplain Patrick officiated my best friends wedding a few years ago and was HIGHLY recommended by her. We met with him over a year before or ceremony and felt completely comfortable with the whole wedding ceremony experience. He custom created a ceremony that fit our personalities, religious beliefs, and values. He even included Dr Suess which I LOVED! Fast forward to a few weeks before the wedding, I was panicked! He calmed my nerves and I could trust he had everything under control based on his complete professionalism! The actual ceremony was beautiful and we received many compliments! He even let me chug the rest of his beer before my grand entrance because I said I was too sober to dance in front of everyone, ha! Super cool down to earth dude & very recommended!

My husband and I participated in a wedding television show - a competition between brides to see who has the best wedding, and we won! We give the credit to Patrick at South Jersey Officiants!! The show even named the title of our episode after a portion of our ceremony!!

Chaplain Patrick, from South Jersey Officiants officiated and was an integral part of our wedding . From our initial planning meeting, we knew everything would be perfectly smooth, which helped us relax a bit in regards to that part of our special day. Chaplain Patrick was perfect for our wedding! We live in Colorado and were not able to get back to New Jersey to meet with him and it was super easy to meet over Skype and plan our ceremony that way. He listened very intently to what was important to us in our ceremony and also checked to see if there were things we absolutely didn't want included. I had no idea how to put together a ceremony, but he had bits and pieces that we could mix and match. The combination came super specific to us and was something we loved. On the day of the wedding, Patrick was there early and was helping out with everything to get the ceremony ready. My husband and I selected South Jersey officiants at the suggestion of our venue, Auletto Caterers. They have worked closely with this officiant company for quite a while and had absolutely nothing bad to say about them.

After reviewing the officiants available, my husband and I skyped with Chaplain Patrick Anthony (we live in Philadelphia and could not personally meet him) and knew that he would be perfect. He tailored our ceremony to exactly how much/little religion we wanted to include and suggested little details to make our ceremony perfect.

My husband and I were OVERJOYED at our ceremony and could not stop smiling. The vows were perfect and Chaplain Patrick Anthony arrived early and was very professional. It is very apparent that he loves what he does and he certainly does it well. After the ceremony, he mingled with our guests in cocktail hour, which we thought was very thoughtful and personal. Our guests are still raving about our ceremony and many have told us it is the absolute best they have ever seen.

My husband and I were also lucky enough to see Chaplain 3 months later as he was officiating our friend's wedding and can attest that their ceremony was tailored specifically to them and he did another amazing job. Hello you smart newlywed couple! Look at you doing your research to find the best vendors for your perfect day. Believe me; you should because I've seen plenty of examples of vendors not coming through the way they promise.

Fortunately for you, the search for a wedding officiate is most likely over now that you have come across this page. Go ahead, take a few moments and scroll through the comments. Even without reading every one, you'll notice a LOT of 5 stars, lots of exclamation points and happy, happy people would have used South Jersey Officiates.

Like myself and my wife, we did A LOT of research for every vendor and because of it our wedding was a total success. I'm talking 89 year old grandmothers shaking their booties on the dance floor kind of success. And it all starts right here.

SJ Officiates, specifically Chaplain Patrick for our wedding, not only set the tone to our wedding but managed to wave his magic wand of coordination to make everything fun, organized and really really special. Even since our wedding, people have constantly commented on how perfect the ceremony was, how much they enjoyed Chappy (as I like to call him) It really means the world to us that our entire family took note of how well everything went and we owe most of that to these guys.

We truly can't say enough about Reverend Yvonne!! I knew before we even met her in person, from our first phone call, that she would be the person to marry us! Rev. Not having an affiliation with a church and opting for an outdoor ceremony, we were concerned with who would officiate our wedding. I give full credit to my husband for finding the perfect choice. From the initial meeting, Reverend Yvonne was interested in learning about who we were as a couple and making sure her approach was tailored to us. When someone enjoys what they do it shows, and that was evident in Reverend Yvonne. As a part of her services, she also includes helpful information for obtaining your marriage license, name change, and the marriage certificate. Chaplain Patrick officiated our wedding on 6/28/14. In our initial meeting (via Skype), he outlined the entire ceremony for us and gave us time to think about the components that we could customize. He provided lots of examples of readings and vows for us to review, as well as detailed instructions on obtaining the wedding license, which was really helpful. We didn't have a rehearsal, so we were a little nervous about the ceremony on the wedding day. Patrick kept everyone calm and collected before it started! The wedding ceremony turned out amazing. Patrick went above and beyond to make the ceremony special for us. It was just beautiful and we received so many compliments. Thanks again Chaplain Patrick! We highly recommend Patrick and South Jersey Officiants!

My husband and I hired Chaplain Patrick Anthony to officiate our May 2014 wedding. During our first meeting, I commented to Chaplain Patrick that I was already grateful to him for stirring up some excitement in my otherwise lackluster fiancé during the wedding planning process. His ideas and passion for what he does clearly show and create an energy that could be felt long after our meeting. My fiancé and I decided to go with a bit of a unique ceremony, held on stage in an old theater. This was a new concept for all of us, but Chaplain Patrick walked us through it and we had a good time planning the set-up and logistics. When it came time to design the ceremony specifics, Chaplain Patrick had multiple meetings with us to perfect the details. He included very unique touches and really nailed what we were going for – we wanted a very “us” vibe and we couldn’t have asked for more. He cleverly wove together the information we had provided separately regarding “our story” and told it beautifully as we stood in front of our families and friends. EVERY guest had something positive to say about Chaplain Patrick’s delivery, even the people we were afraid of offending by having a (mostly) non-religious-centered ceremony (my grandmother, our biggest concern, raved about the personal touches and the beautiful way in which he spoke about our marriage!). He truly exceeded our expectations for our wedding ceremony and helped us create something so beautiful, unique, and so “us.” I will not hesitate to recommend – or even insist – that friends and family hire Chaplain Patrick Anthony to perform their wedding ceremony.

For our June 6, 2014 ceremony we had Rev. Yvonne Rathburn. All we can say is WOW!!! Amazing. It was a beautiful ceremony that was truly personal to myself and my husband. She incorporated details I would have never thought of or have never heard of. She made the ceremony about the joining of a couple and their families. Every single one of my guests commented on what a wonderful job she had done and who beautiful and different our ceremony was. It was tasteful and professional. From the first day we met with her she got right to work on getting to know us as individuals and as a couple and she used all the information in the ceremony. It is hard to write a review because I am still truly speechless on how wonderfully perfect South Jersey Officiants made our ceremony! I would definitely recommend them to any and every bride.

Chaplain Patrick Anthony conducted my ceremony on May 24, 2014 at Tendenza. One of the number one compliments from my wedding was him and the ceremony. He was FANTASTIC. He will work with you and do whatever you want. He helped us create a beautiful ceremony that worked for us. We didn't want to be overly religious, we wanted to incorporate something new and different during the ceremony, we didn't want the typical readings, etc. and he offered such amazing suggestions that made our ceremony so unique and special. He added humor and a certain flair that helped everyone relax a little bit. He truly was wonderful. He is very cool and laid back. He was extremely organized and always answered my emails. I highly recommend him. You will not regret your decision. It was absolutely one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning looking back!

Chaplain Patrick was an absolutley awesome officiant! I was skeptical when I started searching online for possible officiants, but had I not gone this route, I never would have stumbled upon such an AMAZING one! From our first meeting to our wedding day, Patrick was always happy, friendly, and willing to help. He always got right back to me when I emailed or called him with questions and was always assuring and calming me (when I got nervous and worried!) that our ceremony would go so smoothly. We got so many compliments from our guests after the wedding on how personal, sentimental, and touching our ceremony was. They kept asking me, "Where did you find him?!" I was so happy with the job he did and so glad everyone noticed too! I highly recommend him to anyone no matter what your religious beliefs may be-- he customized our wedding exactly the way we envisioned it. We can't thank him enough :)

Chaplain Patrick created the most beautiful wedding for us! We were able to customize the ceremony as much as we liked, but he also took charge and provided suggestions so we did not have to weed through hundreds of readings. We got so many complements on the ceremony, and Patrick was such a pleasure to work with. Chaplain Patrick was one of the best choices we made for our special day :)

Getting married was easy peasy! Thanks to Reverend Yvonne’s easy going nature and professionalism, our New Year’s Eve wedding went on without a hitch. Mind you, Rev.Yvonne was only given a one day notice (yes, you read correctly 1 day). We called her early morning on the 30th and asked if she had any availability. She was willing to accommodate us, as well as, provide us with all the information we needed in order to make our wedding a romantic reality. Her bright and cheery laugh made us feel relax, and welcomed. She even offered us the opportunity to be wed at her home in front of a beautiful Christmas tree and roaring fireplace. We cannot thank Rev.Yvonne enough for being one of the catalysts involved in our beautiful union. We couldn’t have gone to a better place. She was one of the angels in our journey that has made an indelible mark on journey as husband and wife. Rev.Yvonne, thank you for making our day special! Chaplin Patrick Anthony performed our ceremony on December 30, 2013. He was warm, personable, flexible and professional and responsive. Upon meeting him, it felt like we knew him for a lifetime. He was his very engaging and he had a very loving personality which was reflected in the beautiful ceremony he performed. We had a very short timeframe (11 days) to plan the wedding and he made the process simple and stress free. We would highly recommend him.

Initially we were going to go to the County Clerk's Office to get married but we decided not to. My (now) husband and I started looking for an Officiant on line. I called him at his job after reading so many great reviews about a particular officiant (Yvonne) on a South Jersey Weddings website to let him know that I found someone. His response was "I found one too...It's a lady by the name of Yvonne". I smiled and told him that I was reading about the same person so we agreed and here we are married. She was VERY professional and helpful. All e-mails and phone calls were responded to quickly. I never write reviews but the quality of service I received from SJ wedding officiants (especially Yvonne) was worth it!

We met Chaplain Patrick in a nice little coffee shop, and after 2 minutes of meeting him we knew we had found our officiant. His ideas and vision for our wedding were incredible! The day of our wedding the sky opened up and our (would have been beautiful outdoor) ceremony was moved inside, which also delayed the start time of our wedding. Patrick was completely understanding and adjusted his schedule to still accommodate us, and we cannot thank him enough for that. Our wedding ceremony would not have been what it was without Patrick at the helm. He made everyone feel at ease, ran everything flawlessly, and his words were touching. Our guests raved about Patrick and our ceremony. The level of professionalism mixed with kindness and vision make Patrick truly unique and a master of his craft. If you need an officiant please stop looking and contact this wonderful man!

Rev Yvonne made our day very special. Our wedding was set at the shore overlooking the bay. She paid extra attention to the little details. Our wedding was very intimate, with only a few family and friends. She gave us some great ideas and our ceremony flowed very nicely. Our guests had a good time and we receive many compliments.

We were so thrilled to have Patrick as our officiant! We knew from the minute we first met with him to discuss our ceremony that he would do a great job. Patrick is very thorough and pays attention to every little detail. He made us feel very comfortable every step of the way. Chaplain Anthony did an amazing job and went above and beyond for our wedding! We chose the value package and the chaplain was very helpful with any questions we had as we didn't have any idea what we were doing! We were able to reach him at any time and the wedding was absolutely amazing. Simple and intimate is what we wanted and that is just what we got :) the chaplain was very personable and our wedding guests absolutely loved how he performed the service! Wouldn't change a thing!

We had Reverend Yvonne Rathbun. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with from the original sit down to wedding it self. She wants to know you and make sure she is giving what YOU like. In addition she will give an idea or two if you are lost on something. Most Important, on the big day she is very professional. During the ceremony She reminds me of how my second grade teacher would read to the class, her voice was clear, crisp and soothing , but at the same time commanded the crowd. Her words were personal and perfect for us. I'd assume she would do the same for everyone. super soon after wedding we received all the info for name changes for lic, passport etc. Thank you Yvonne.

Patrick was AWESOME. He, other than Joe and myself, made my ceremony complete. He was perfect. My whole bridal party and family and every guest LOVED how perfect he was throughout the entire ceremony. I would 100 million zillion percent tell every bride I meet from this day forward to use South Jersey Officiants Patrick Anthony. He was so fabulous, my favorite part was how comfortable he made us feel up there and how at the end of the ceremony he stepped away from us, so my photographer could get FABULOUS pictures of just Joe and I. I love Patrick with all my heart because that was the most important moment of my life and he made is sooooo soo sooooooo memorable!

When Chaplin Patrick first sat down with us, he made it clear that although he would be present during our vows- they were 100% all about us. He made sure that we had a ceremony and vows that were perfectly in tune with what we wanted and was absolutely professional about the entire process. He was down to earth and very flexible with what he was able to put together... My husband and I are not very religious, so he had to work around a lot of the usual stuff, but he did it perfectly and we couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. My husband even has an uncle that was a reverend, and he couldn't stop talking about how fantastic Patrick was! He even has a few tricks up his sleeve to make sure moments of the big day stay all about the bride and groom, and that no one has any anxiety about anything. If you don't consider Chaplain Patrick you're doing yourself a great injustice - he's cool and just outstanding. A few of our guests even approached him after the ceremony for their big day!

Selecting Chaplain Patrick to officiate our wedding was one of the easiest and best decisions we made! He is a pleasure to work with, and we left our initial meeting with him feeling thrilled. In fact, it was one of the most exciting moments of the entire planning experience, and we knew on the spot that we wanted him for our big day. Prior to meeting up with Rev. Yvonne for the first meet, me and my now-husband, had no idea what to look for in an officiant. Talking to her put us at ease! She listened to our background story, and was able to offer us helpful suggestions we would've never thought of, or knew was possible. Rev. Yvonne was very helpful every step of the way, and kept us in line with the deadline she suggested. (It helped me writing the vow out of the way!)

On the wedding day, Rev. Yvonne did her thing! She led the ceremony, and made sure I remembered what to do next! Rev. Yvonne is fantastic and super friendly, and would recommend her to anyone~

Reverend Chrissey was an absolute pleasure to work with and was our day of wedding savior! We contacted South Jersey Officiants for a consultation and our first choice officiant was unavailable for our wedding date, however they suggested another officiant. Fortunately for us, this officiant was also unavailable and we were referred to Reverend Chrissey. From the moment we met Reverend Chrissey, we knew that she would be perfect for our event! Her warm personality made us feel like she was a lifelong friend after just a few minutes. She has worked in the wedding industry for several years in a variety of different aspects and her expertise is truly one of a kind. She worked with us to create a memorable and unique ceremony that reflected our personalities and relationship. She was an excellent and efficient communicator. On the day of our wedding, we ran into a number of last minute snafus. Reverend Chrissey assisted with everything from easing our nerves to directing our caterer to assisting with lighting set up. Our day would not have been possible without her and we cannot thank her enough! After our ceremony, she even stopped by our reception an hour to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. Her kindness and compassion are truly remarkable. Without a doubt, we highly recommend Reverend Chrissey!

Chaplain Patrick was AMAZING! We didn't really know what we wanted in our ceremony but he had many unique ideas that we were able to personalize. Chaplain Patrick is very friendly and professional and I would recommend him to every bride!
