I hired the talented artists of Divine Beauty for my wedding this past May, and I could not be happier! I did trials beforehand with both my makeup artist and hair stylist, and they were wonderful to work with. I changed my hair a few times, and Angela always listened to me and followed my lead. My hair ended up being exactly what I wanted. I also tweaked my makeup the day of, and Christina nailed it. I had three other artists for the rest of the bridesmaids, and they were all incredible. All the bridesmaids’ hair and makeup looked amazing! All five artists were so warm and friendly and just created such a fun environment to get ready in (even at 7am!). They are all immensely talented and were a joy to work with. They owner, Christy, is also incredibly friendly and organized. She and I worked together to create a schedule for the day of, and she was very detailed in everything she needed out of me and worked very well with my wedding planner.
If you would like to feel beautiful on your wedding day, hire Divine Beauty Artists!! They are worth every penny. I loved working with them and truly felt stunning on my wedding day.

My Wedding Day Hair & Makeup Dream Team!

As an out-of-state bride planning a destination wedding in Arizona, I needed a hair and makeup team I could fully trust—and Christy and her team at Divine Beauty Artists DELIVERED.

From Day One, the owner, Christy, was incredibly responsive, providing clear, easy-to-follow instructions. She even helped me schedule a makeup trial during a last-minute weekend visit to Phoenix, working around my tight travel schedule. Whether it was coordinating services for me and my girls or helping me decide on hair extensions, Christy made everything crystal clear and stress-free. I knew I could count on her and her team to make sure we all looked and felt our best on the big day.

Here’s how they made it all flawless:

✨ Our day-of styling team—Joanna, Anna, and Jayde—are insanely talented. Every single person who had services done looked flawless. Even after a sudden gust of AZ wind (hello, haboob!) during the ceremony and two straight hours of happy tears, our hair and makeup still held up beautifully. I remember only needing to touch up once throughout the entire six-hour event!

✨ My makeup trial with Joanna gave me complete confidence. Not only did my makeup turn out exactly how I wanted, but it lasted for hooours—so I knew it’d hold up even through the emotional moments.

✨ My hair trial with Anna, just two days before the wedding, was equally impressive. Despite my hectic schedule that week, coordinating it was a breeze, and Anna was also so lovely to gab with and sit for. It was comforting knowing she and Joanna would be trusted, familiar faces on my wedding morning, taking care of me, my girls, and family members.

Having those trials made all the difference—we were able to fine-tune my look, discuss any tweaks in advance, and on the wedding day, I could just relax, enjoy the time with my loved ones, and trust them to work their magic.

On the morning of the wedding, Joanna, Anna, and Jayde arrived early, set up quickly, and kept everything running right on schedule. They were even flexible with last-minute slot switcheroos, making sure everyone was taken care of without a hitch.

Beyond their talent, these three helped create such a fun but calm atmosphere while we got ready—exactly the vibe I wanted and needed.

Gorgeous Glam!

I looked and felt so beautiful and confident with my hair and makeup. Angela was great! I wasn't able to do a trial run but Angela did not disappoint when I showed her the inspiration pictures. I'm so glad with how my mom and grandma's make up came out as well! Angela did a beautiful job and Olessya did a great job as well with everyone's hair. Our flower girl loved her mini makeup session also! We can't thank them enough! Working with divine beauty was great, Christy was prompt, professional, answered my million questions and very accommodating.

From day one my experience with Divine Beauty Artists was beyond exceptional. Christy was always very responsive and flexible with each of my requests. On our wedding day, Amber did my hair and makeup and I couldn't be any happier. I was a little nervous when I decided to switch my hairstyle on the day of the wedding but Amber was absolutely amazing and it turned out much better than I could have ever imagined. The bridesmaids and moms had their hair done with Jovan and they all loved it as well! They arrived and finished on time, making the entire day run a lot smoother. I would definitely recommend divine beauty artists! Do not hesitate to hire them, you won't regret it.

Absolutely loved our hair and makeup!

Amber was our stylist and I absolutely loved her! She did my hair and makeup perfectly and was a pleasure to work with from the trial to our wedding day. My airbrush makeup stayed on all night and my hair stayed perfect as well – I really enjoyed working with Divine Beauty and highly recommend!

What a great experience I and all my girls had with these makeup artists! They were there early, got everyone done quickly and were super accommodating to my last minute "Don't hate me but..." moments! I looked beautiful! My bridesmaids looked beautiful, my mother looked beautiful, and I am so grateful to the artists that made that happen!! Angela was my lead artist and she deserves an extra round of applause!! She really is a genius with hair and makeup!

Used these girls for my wedding. Seriously talented! All of the wedding party was bawling during the ceremony, and sweating it up on the dance floor but our makeup and hair stayed on point. It is a big investment, but the photos last forever!

I did five different makeup/hair trials before finally finding South Florida Makeup Artist. Lina is truly a magician when it comes to makeup. She made my skin look flawless not only on my wedding day, but for the TWO trials I had with her prior to the day. Her eyeliner was never crooked like some other companies! She made my bridesmaids and mom look stunning on the wedding day. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again!! Jovie did our hair for the big day... she was awesome! I had her for two trials also... she was a perfectionist and so patient! She was willing to stay extra late just to make sure she had the hairstyle down for the big day. They were on time, professional and both so sweet. It was a 40% down payment, which I was definitely hesitant about because other companies only require $100, but it was well worth it. I also another artist for my engagement pictures, who also did an amazing job. Coming from NY with very high expectations on makeup and hairstyles... SFMA is definitely the best.

I would HIGHLY recommend South Florida Makeup Artist. The owner Christy is GREAT to work with. She never let me feel like I was not on the top of her list. She communicates VERY well and is VERY organized. I had a trial run with Mandi for both hair and makeup. She was so WONDERFUL that my friend used her for the day of the wedding for hair and makeup and did not even do a trial. I can tell you that I am beyond picky when it comes to things like hair and makeup and not to toot our own horns but we looked FABULOUS!!! If you are looking for someone to do your hair and makeup I would look no further than South FLorida Makeup Artist. You will be very happy with the experience from start to finish. I will definitely be using them again for many more events this year.

Dear future brides,

Choosing who was going to be in charge of how beautiful I looked on my wedding day was the most NERVE WRACKING choice out of all my wedding vendors. I had dreamed how I would look since I was a little girl and was un trusting to many companies I found. Well, let me tell you, I DO NOT regret whatsoever choosing Christy Ogden makeup. It was the PERFECT choice! She was so helpful and responsive the entire time and kept following up and making sure all the plans where in check the time leading up to my wedding. She saw my style that I was going for and she choose the right make up artist fitting for me. Mandi was perfect and made me feel so relaxed on my wedding day and she did my bridesmaids AND my mother all in time and even finished a little early so we ended up having more time for photos! I felt even more beautiful than the vision I had of myself growing up. Everybody was telling me how great and flawless my makeup and hair looked that day. It even rained a little on my wedding day, even when we were taking photos, and my makeup still looked fresh, did not mess up and even my hair stayed in place. I was also worried, prior to choosing my makeup artist, that I would look "fake" and "overdone with makeup" like sadly so many brides end up looking but the makeup was PERFECT and flawless with the right amount of naturalness.
I never write reviews for anything so this is how much I AM SO HAPPY with my choice and want to stress for all you new brides out there you will not regret choosing Christy Ogde makeup.

Don't look any further! Christy and her team are absolutely the best! I used her and her team for my wedding this August and I could not have been happier. My husband and I live in WA, but married in FL. I found SFMA online and was impressed with its reviews and sample photos. During the weeks leading up to the wedding, I very much appreciated how available and responsive the owner (Christy Ogden) and the artists were in promptly returning my calls and emails. Despite this being a second wedding for me (the 1st one being almost 20 years earlier), I was still quite nervous and unsure about the look I wanted to achieve. Both the hair artist (Keeva) and makeup artist (Lina) first worked with me from across the country to hone in on the look I wanted before even meeting for my trial. During the trial, each of the artists utilized my feedback to customize that look. I thought they did a wonderful job with my hair, make-up, and that of the other women in my wedding party! When I decided to go with professionals to do makeup & hair for my wedding I did not know where to begin looking! Hair salons & make-up artists are a dime a dozen in SoFlo. Not to mention I am SUPER particular about both hair and makeup! I enjoy doing it so much on my own and for my girlfriend's special occasions that I have developed a certain set of skills that I want more than surpassed if I have someone else provide the services other than myself! I looked up reviews for SFMA and they were recommended highly so I figured that I would give them a call and see if they would be a good match for my bridesmaids and I. I spoke with Christy Ogden, the owner of SFMA (also an artist herself), she was so easy to work with on pairing the bridesmaids and I with the right artist for both hair and makeup. Christy sent us portfolios of the hair and makeup artists that she felt would be best suited for us. The prices of the services were, in my opinion, extremely fair (as I have had a lot of experience with what beauty services cost in my area). I chose to do a trial before the big day. Even though everything was going smoothly thus far, I was not sure what to expect from the makeup artist since, as I mentioned before, I am super picky! When I arrived to their studio, which looked like a super model's loft, I met Seiryn, the makeup artist. Before Seiryn began to do anything to my face we had a very thorough consultation about my expectations and chatted a bit about my personal style, etc. She blew my mind! I absolutely LOVED the quality of her work and enjoyed the experience so much. The day of was no different, everyone's hair and makeup looked phenomenal and I was beyond pleased! I would recommend this company to anyone who has good taste in hair and makeup.

I had the hardest time finding a make up artist that was professional in south florida, until I found Christy from SFMA. She was not only timely in all of her responses, but she was so organized which I appreciated so much! I did my trial with Mandi, who is an amazing artist. Her vision for my hair and makeup was incredible. I have never felt more beautiful in my life. We also had Adriana and Sei help with hair and makeup on the wedding day and they were equally as great! All of my bridesmaids and family members looked amazing! The air brush makeup made us all look flawless. I couldn't be happier with the services they provided :)

We hired Alonso to do our hair for our wedding last week. (I picked him after scouring the internet endlessly) He did 7 ladies and was a sweetheart and blew out my mom's hair on the house. He was very prompt, very professional, and prepped everyone and did hair on time. Laid back and funny he was great to invite into our home for morning wedding preparations. Everyone looked great and hair withstood the windy beach ceremony and hours of dancing!

Christy is the main contact and she is available to answer all questions. Provided such quick responses and is full of information! I would choose them again in a heartbeat!

So my wedding day was everything I had hoped for!!!! It started out with hair and makeup by 2 awesome artists from the South Florida Makeup Artist Team Mandi Newkirk and Adriana Sauma....the ladies showed up promptly in the morning to setup and greet me and my guests with friendly smiles and total reassurance that the day was going to be amazing! I had been through a couple of hair and makeup trials with other artists and in the beginning I have to say I was a bit discouraged because I didn't feel like the other artist could execute the styles that I wanted...I wanted to look beautiful but still look like myself.....When I called South Florida Makeup Artist and spoke with the owner Christy she put me at total ease and answered every question that I had....she told me that she knew her artist Mandi could pull off any look she could possibly want and boy was she RIGHT! I had the trial with Mandi and not only was she a very talented artist but she made me feel so comfortable...I felt like I had known her forever! I absolutely LOVED my hair and makeup and didn't want to change one thing about it! Finally I could put the anxiety of finding the perfect artist to rest:) On the day of the wedding Mandi and Adriana did hair and makeup for myself, 8 bridesmaids and 2 moms....Everything was perfect and all of my girls felt so beautiful! The hair and makeup lasted all day and into the night...even as much as we danced our tails off! I could not have been happier with my hair and makeup on my “big day.” The woman who had been doing my hair all my life had an expected life event which required her sudden change in attendance to my wedding just about 4 weeks earlier. My wedding coordinator suggested her go-to hair and makeup stylist, Christy Ogden, and I have to say it was one of the best almost-stressful situations during the weeks prepping before the wedding. Being that it was a destination wedding I didn’t meet Christy until the day before the wedding when I brought her a multitude of photos and ideas, and in no time at all she had all of the pieces I gave her narrowed down to a conglomeration of the perfect hair style and makeup for me. Brides will always get the “you look so beautiful!” comments but family and friends were truly impressed and sincerely telling me that they had never seen me look so beautiful and I give all of that credit to Christy and her fantastic work on me. My bridesmaids were all equally thrilled with their “do’s” as well. In summation, Christy was magnificent, efficient, so easy to work with, and she can master any style you have in mind.

I had checked around a few different salons and companies to find the perfect people to have for our hair and make up stylist. After finding South Florida hair and make up artist through the internet i called and talked with Christy Ogden who made me feel so comfortable because she was so articulate with describing every answer i had to every question i asked and then some. She constantly kept in touch with me every step of the way always making sure i was at ease with what was going on and what to have in mind the day of the wedding. On the day of our wedding we had around 15 girls getting their hair and make up done. The artist that came Alonso, Mandi, and Janie were exceptional! We brought pictures as this is the best way to have them know what you see in your head as we all can not describe things to the T. They came early and left late assuring that each and every person was completely satisfied with their hair and make up. They are an amazing group of people. My hair and make up were flawless!! Especially since i dont live in Florida i didnt have a trial for my hair or make up. So if you are looking for stress free planning of you ideal hair and make up I would recommend to call ASAP as they will not let you down!! My pictures from the wedding are amazing and my groom literally had his breath taken away as i walked down the aisle. Thank you all for what u do!!

SFMA was the first and only company I looked at and it was clear I needed to look no further. In addition to myself, there were 13 other ladies with me getting their hair and make up done. Christy brought in a team, a dream team at that! I wish I had a photo to upload to show you how gorgeous all of my ladies looked! Even with such a large group, the day was just as planned and even ahead of schedule. Christy and her team really have a talent for hair and makeup artistry, and professionalism to run a successful business. By the end of the day, Christy and her team felt like family. I would definitely book with SFMA for services again in the future.

Im not a huge lover of makeup but being that i was a bridesmaid in my brothers wedding makeup is a must, especially for photos! Christy and her team at South Florida Makeup Artist are not only professional but extremely talented! I could not believe my eyes! All of the girls looked fabulous and I especially absolutely loved my makeup. So much so that i plan to go back when i have any future special occasions! Wonderful! Christy was totally easy to work with when it came to the contract and scheduling and Alonso was absolutely outstanding. He really made me feel comfortable and I could tell him how I wanted my hair and he was totally open to suggestions. I'd already had trials with people who only did things their way so Alonso was an absolute dream. Not only did he do hair for me, my sisters, mom and bridesmaids that were scheduled, but at the last minute (as in, the DAY OF with about an hour before we're all supposed to leave) he took on my dad, grandmother and aunt and he did it all with patience and everyone looked great! Alonso is great!

I used SFMA for my Wedding March 10th 2012. Being a Makeup Artist myself I was very picky on who was going to do my makeup for my biggest day! I had gone to several trials all over and it was disappointment after disappointment!! SFMA was my last hope! I spoke with Christy who was so helpful even though this was seriously last minute (a week before my wedding)!! She set me up with one of her girls Seiryn and I had a trial. She was so sweet and we clicked immediately! She completely understood what I was looking for and I fell in love with my "Bridal Look"! On the day of she was so patient with me and made sure I looked FLAWLESS! I felt so amazing and my makeup lasted not only ALL NIGHT...but it was perfectly intact for the Brunch the next morning! Where do I begin?! SFMA, hands down, is the best! I had airbrush make up and hair styling for my bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law. Christy was right there, whenever I needed her, she always answered her phone, and catered to my every needs. Christy, what an amazing company you have!! Seiryn was our Make up Artist and Susan was our Hair stylist, Both girls made me feel like we had been friends for the longest! Both were so sweet, professional, and knew exactly what I wanted!! Everyone could not stop commenting on how beautiful we all looked!! Even the manager of my venue asked for SFMA info because she loved our look so much! I wish I had their business cards to hand out!! One of my male cousins came up to me at the end of the night and said " i never notice make-up, but omg your makeup is amazing! how did it stay so perfect all night?!" Christy & her team did a fabulous job! I normally don't like having my make up done professionally, as i feel like it looks too heavy & I don't look like myself. Christy, however, made me feel so comfortable & made sure I still looked very natural... just better! :) I loved it! And my hair was exactly how I pictured it to look- just perfect! I used Christy more than once for events, including my wedding & everything turned out perfect!! She really is amazing at what she does and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else doing my hair & makeup other than her. She is extremely easy to work with and will even travel to wedding locations! I highly recommend her & her team! :)

I highly recommended Christy & Alanzo they are both so talented and confident in their work! My friend gave me Christy's & Alanzo's number after they did her sisters hair and makeup for her wedding , and were very pleased! They both arrived on time ,were very detailed and professional. My make-up was amazing!! I felt like a movie star ;) Alanzo is equally talented he made my hair look absolutely stunning. They also did hair and makeup for my mom and sister, we all got so many compliments about our hair and make-up! The prices were also reasonable If you want to look amazing book them!

Christy did a wonderful job. I was undecided on hair for my wedding day, so met with her for several trials. She helped with suggestions and did an amazing job. She is very talented and patient! Six of my sisters had their hair and/or make up done and loved it! They all received compliments from guests. I will use her services in the future. She was great to work with and a very talented artist! She returned my phone calls/ emails quickly and was always available for me.

After planning every other detail of my wedding, it occurred to me that my hair and makeup were also important details! I began looking for artists with just a few months until the date, and I found Christy through an online search. I loved all of the photos on her website, and when I contacted her, she was so nice and professional, but was unfortunately not available for my date because I'd waited so long. However, she was able to refer me to two amazing artists on her team, Rosaura and Janine. They came to get started on mine and my 6 bridesmaids, plus my mom and aunt, at 7:30am, and were completely prepared for anything! Rosaura did an amazing job on my hair and makeup, and she listened and asked me questions through every step. She also did the same for the other girls' hair as well. She created exactly the look I was picturing for my wedding. Rosaura also did my mom's makeup, and she looked absolutely gorgeous. Janine did the makeup for my bridal party so beautifully, and also was a great listener and really wanted to make the girls look exactly the way they wanted. I would definitely refer Christy and her team from South Florida Makeup Artist! They are wonderful to work with and just amazing people!

Christy and her staff are absolutely amazing! I love makeup and I actually apply it quite well so it took some time for me to find someone that met my expectations. I had a pin-up photoshoot that I did for my now husband and Christy did my makeup. As soon as she was done, I knew that whenever I got married she would be the one to do my makeup. I referred her to my best friend who got married before me and on my wedding day...she made me look and feel the most beautiful I have ever felt. She also does AMAZING hair. On top of all of the awesomeness she is also a very sweet person and great to talk to. It's like you're going to get your hair and makeup done by a best friend. She keeps you calm and collected and is very attentive to your needs. You can be yourself with her, tell her if you don't like something...and she will do everything in her power to make you happy!

Christy was very attentive and patient. She not only suggested but took her time to make sure that I was happy with the end result. She traveled to my venue and was there promptly as planned. She is very professional and caring to a bride's needs. I recommend her highly.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Christy Ogden of SFMA. My daughter got married in Keystone, CO in mid July. As anyone knows who is planning a destination wedding, it's particularly difficult to know which vendors to use. Fortunately, our wedding coordinator gave us little choice as she insisted that Christy was the only one she would trust. It was even more fortunate that Christy lives part time in South Florida where we happen to live so we got a chance to meet her and have a trial way before the wedding. But, even with that, there was no way to anticipate just how wonderful she would be the day of the wedding. Even though she had an entire year to think about it, my daughter was still struggling with how to wear her hair as the wedding approached. Christy came over the day before for another trial, and even though my daughter was still undecided, Christy assured her she would be pleased with the end result. That is exactly what happened. Christy was incredibly patient, professional, and calming the day of the wedding. My daughter doesn't like anything that seems unnatural. With my daughter's input and approval, Christy managed to strike just the right balance of casually elegant and strikingly stunning. Meantime, I had an unanticipated swelling in my neck. Christy assured me that she would do all the shading she needed to do in order to disguise it really well. Even though I was terribly self-conscious about it, even the photographer insisted he had trouble seeing the problem after Christy got finished doing my makeup. I would recommend Christy without hesitation. Not only was she great with my daughter and her bridesmaids, but I doubt there are many people as professional and as confident in their own abilities to be able to deal with a MOB last minute crisis as well as Christy did.

I worked with Christy for my hair and make-up, and for my bridal party. After being in 6 weddings in the past few years, I have had my fair share of snafu's with hair and make-up so I was nervous about my wedding day stylist. Christy came highly recommended...and now i know why. It was one of the smoothest and most enjoyable processes of my entire wedding planning and day-of prep. She was prompt yet easy-going, she didn't mind us telling her to change minor things if we wanted more or less of something, and she truly cared about making us beautiful, comfortable, and happy. She is extremely talented and an awesome pick for such an important day.

Christy was one of the best people/vendors I had the pleasure to work with during my wedding. She is extremely friendly, professional, and very organized. I never had an issue getting a hold of her and she responded to every email I sent within the same day. She assigned Mandy and Alonso to do the hair and Makeup for my actual wedding and they were an absolute joy to have around and their work is incredible. Mandy had 7 girls to do makeup for and she did each one as if it was the first and never rushed the job, everyone looked perfect and she tailored the makeup to each girls likes and dislikes and asked each one along the way if they were happy so far with each step. She actually added to the fun we had that day with her sweet and bubbly personality. Alonso was also amazing, he did a phenonmenal job on everyones hair and took his time with each one. If someone wanted to make a slight change he did it, and he made sure each girl was totally happy before he moved onto the next. He not only put in my exstensions that day he also cut them to blend perfectly and styled my hair. What more could you ask for! I have thin short hair but that day I had thick, long and full hair that blended so perfectly you would never know it was fake. On top of being great at what they do Mandy and Alonso are an absolute blast to have around on your wedding day, which was very important to me considering they spend the entire day with you!! I will use Alonso and Mandy again and I recommend them to anyone who wants beautiful hair and makeup for any event.

Christy is great to work with in that she matches you with an artist who you'll grow to love! She knows the bridal hair and makeup extremely well and understands the importance of your big day. I was matched with an amazing artist, Mandi, who took her time to ensure my hair and makeup looked flawless! My hair is long and had extensions put in with a half-up do and curls. Unfortunately, the humidity in Florida did not help the curls stay (not controllable), but my airbrush makeup looked great all the way to the end of the night! I truly felt beautiful and had the best wedding day ever! I would highly recommend SFMA for your bridal hair and makeup needs. They also did all my bridesmaids who looked gorgeous! Thank you ladies!!!

Seiryn was my Make up Artist and Alonzo was our Hair. The full 5 ratings are for them! My hair and makeup were amazing! Christy is lucky to have them on her team. As far as professionalism, all I can say is Christy was literally screaming through the phone which could be overhead by all on the day of my wedding. As well as emails immediately after to me! I recommend you keep track of you deposit and price agreement.
However the make up was flawless and I was extremely happy with my look for my big day.
The work was truly superb! Thank you Seiryn and Alonzo!
