  Amazing Service!

  South County Trolley was the best choice for our December wedding in Narragansett, RI. From the beginning, Betsy was prompt and answered all of our questions. She secured the white wedding trolley for us and confirmed everything as we got closer to the day. The day of, Iffy, our driver was awesome! He picked us up promptly, got us to the Church early. Took us to a secondary location for more pictures and helped keep the fun and music going despite the freezing temperatures! He even held the door to help me get into the church with my dress! This service was the best choice, it gave our guests a great way to tour around the area while also getting us promptly to where we needed to be. I would highly recommend them! Thank you in helping to make our day so special!

  We used South County Trolley & Transportation for our wedding and have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. They were extremely flexible, arriving early to take the wedding party for pictures and then taking a beautiful ride around Narragansett, stopping at each request to pick up a few guests along the way! It was a warm day and refreshments were provided so all of the wedding party could stay cool. They were also very accommodating waiting in taking guests back to our home after the reception. Our wedding party had such a great time on the trolley. It was the perfect way to travel to our beach wedding. I would highly recommend South County Trolley for any occasion. Extremely professional, accommodating, and they provide a top notch experience.

  We had a wonderful experience with South County Trolley! The trolley really added a fun element to the day, and it was a great way to transport everyone around. It's more relaxed then a limo, and more space, but also still formal and fancy enough for the event. The company provided some water and snacks, and also allowed us to bring some of our own drinks and snacks. They were on time, clean, and flexible with us when we changed one of our locations that day, and were very professional. I believe they are under new management then they were a year ago - and I've found them very responsive and professional. They event sent me a thank you card after, which was a sweet touch. I would highly recommend them!

  South county trolley was the BEST! We seriously had them running around EVERYWHERE on the day of our wedding, shuttling us and guests back and forth. They were so easy to work with and so willing to do whatever it was we needed! Very clean trolley inside which is obviously a plus when everyone is wearing their very best :)

  We had our wedding in Narragansett and used the trolley to shuttle us and our guests from the Holiday Inn to the Towers. They were right on time and my guests loved the idea and look of the trolley. Afterwards they took the entire wedding party for a drive around and more pictures. The driver was great. I had no problems in dealing with the company and they provided the service I booked. I woudl definitely recoommend them and using a trolley. None of my guests had to drive (extremely important) and they shuttled them back and forth to the hotel as they wanted to go. They did a great job for us!

  Photo ops with a trolley are pretty amazing. The red trolley really made for a few fun pictures. It was fun to ride together with everyone to and from the wedding and the reception in the big open trolley. They knew where they were going and were very flexible when we wanted to add a destination for extra pictures. And... they let me ring the bell!

  The trolleys were on time, the drivers were great! One of them got sick the night before the wedding, and the owner filled it! They were great. THe only thing is that they do not disclose that there are ads on the sides of their trolleys which take away from the authenticity of the trolleys. HOWEVER, that was our only complaint! Pretty good if you ask me!!

  Ted and his team are true professionals. Despite some initial setbacks a few weeks before our wedding, Ted went above and beyond what most people would do to make right on his promise to work our wedding. South County Trolley's prices are fair (especially in comparison to their Cape and Newport counterparts) and their service personifies the notion of professionalism. The driver was prompt, friendly, courteous, and informed of the routes well in advance (they ask you to provide a route and timetable two weeks before to avoid confusion); the trolley itself was clean and comfortable. We are so glad we chose Ted and South County Trolley over a limo company or local party bus. Thank you.

  This little white trolley was the perfect addition to our day. We used it to take the wedding party up to take photos after the church and then to the reception.
  
  The driver was great in making sure that everyone was accounted for before leaving for the church (the groom was about to leave without the maid of honor! :) who were running a little late because of me).
  
  He did, however, not have the exact location of the reception planned out and went the wrong way (costing only about 5 minutes of extra travel), which normally wouldn't be a big deal, but we were rushing to get back to the venue for sunset photos!
  
  Ted had also worked with us on price since we also used the trolley to shuttle people home after the reception in case they would be better to leave their cars until the next morning...
  
  In all, we were happy with the service and cute addition the trolley added to the day!

  We decided to use a trolley instead of the standard limos for our wedding and I am so glad that we did! Our reception venue has limited parking so we choose to shuttle our guests from the church to the reception by trolley! Everyone commented on how much fun it was.   Highly recommend. Used for my wedding party. Can be a little hard to get ahold of, but on the day of they were fantastic!! one of the best decisions we made-- highly recommend.

  We loved working with South County Trolley. The trolley was clean and the driver was very helpful and attentive, particularly with regard to my dress and the rain. He had champagne and water bottles ready for us and took song requests fired at him one after the next. Day of execution was 5 stars.
  
  That said, we docked stars here because of the booking and confirmation process. The company wasn't very responsive, even when I called to say I wanted to pay them, and it took over a week for us to get a confirmation of their services in advance of the wedding. I only heard back from Betsy after multiple voicemails and emails from both me and my husband the week before the wedding.
  
  Overall I recommend the trolley experience, everyone loved it, but I'd just be regimented with follow up in advance of the day

  South County Trolley was "Okay" to work with. We rented a trolley to shuttle both the wedding party and the guests to and from the reception and ceremony site. We chose them initially because they were the most flexible with cost being that no one was using the services during the ceremony and reception, so they ended up being the cheapest option.
  They had asked us to send them the itinerary before the wedding, and my fiance sent one over and a few other Emails about 2 weeks before the wedding with no reply.   We used a trolley because we had a fair number of people in our party to transport from Warwick to the State House and back to Warwick. I hate the look of limo SUVs and knew I didn’t want all the out of towners lost, so this made sense. I went with South County Trolley, because admittedly, I didn't do much homework. Of the whopping 2 places I contacted, they were cheaper. I did all correspondence via email (probably dumb). The guy – “Ted” - was weird to deal with. What I REALLY wanted was a white trolley. In the initial correspondence, that was no problem. I signed the contract and send it in - no longer available. D'OH! But it was probably my fault because I got busy and didn't send it as quickly as I should have. So, okay, whatever, I'll take a red one to save money. BUT - this was summer 2009 and he would not guarantee what the price quote for 2010 was until the new year. But, no deposit was due and nothing was binding so I signed the contract and sent it in. Turned out, the 2009 price stayed the same. “Ted” had mentioned in several emails that the red trolley would 'probably' be white by spring this year. Awesome, I thought. A few weeks before the wedding I followed up with “Ted” and confirmed the time line and just asked if the trolley happened to be white or red still. His reply (albeit in type) seemed REALLY snarky. Whatever dude. Trolley was still red - way to lead people on.
  
  Day of - everything went smoothly, prompt, etc. Driver seemed nice enough (forgetting her name...). It was hot as hell on the trolley and the windows were open, messing up all of our hair. My mom swears I told her it was A/C, but I didn't save all emails and now I worry I mislead her and that was another company. So, that was my bad.
  
  Overall, it was a weird company to deal with and I would definitely have spent more and gone elsewhere. BUT: overall, I liked using a trolley. My grade here is definitely aimed at how I felt they were as business people and how it was to deal with them, and not on the service day of. On a budget, I’d use them again but would have to increase my patience level!

  Throughout my planning, South County Trolley was no trouble to work with. We booked two trolleys, one party van, and an old fashioned car and got a great deal. Unfortunately, with this company you get what you pay for. For one, the owner told me that he was the only one who could do the scheduled tours of historic downtown for my guests in between the ceremony and the reception, except on the day of he was out of town and didn't tell us! Second, we had two trolleys in our contract, but he had only booked us one. They day of the wedding I was scrambling to secure the second trolley - which caught on fire on the way to the ceremony!!! In the end, they brought a very tacky bus to the ceremony site, that no one utilized for tours because no one knew it was there for us, including myself and my husband! In the end, it was a battle getting my money back for services not rendered from this company and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

  Do not book - company closed

  If you are looking for transportation in RI for your wedding, look elsewhere! We booked South County Trolley for our 2020 wedding. They took our deposit and sent an invoice. When we decided to postpone the wedding to 2021, they never responded to my postponement email. I didn't think much of it until it was time to start replanning for the wedding the following year.   I am so very disappointed with South County Trolley and Transportation. My husband and I met and currently live in San Francisco and we were so excited to have the Trolley as the transportation for our Newport, RI wedding. They were wonderful when we first booked. However, when we emailed and called them to try to confirm the day of timeline and ask questions we never heard back from them. We got so nervous, we actually asked the venue to try them to see if they had luck. They never heard from them either. They had no problem sending us an invoice, though! FINALLY, they got back to us confirming a week before the wedding. We had to get back to the photographer, etc. and they made it very tough for us to finalize the timeline.
  Anyway, we were willing to forget that but when the trolley showed up it was completely run down. The door would not close. We had 6 kids under the age of 7 on the trolley!!! My father had to stand in front of the OPEN DOOR to ensure no kids would fall out. For the guests sitting in the back of the trolley, they were forced to breath in the exhaust fumes the entire time. It was terrible. When you ask my husband and I what we could change from the wedding, we would have never, ever booked the trolley. It is the one and only thing we would do differently. Save yourself the aggravation and book the trolley elsewhere. They are overpriced for terrible customer service and a completely rundown trolley.

My husband and I met and currently live in San Francisco and we were so excited to have the Trolley as the transportation for our Newport, RI wedding. They were wonderful when we first booked.
