Best Wedding Make Up!

Amy is a very talented make up artist who goes above and beyond to make sure you are more than satisfied with her finished product. She is sweet and will work with you to ensure your vision comes to fruition. I enjoyed working with her and the hair stylist Maria, who redid my mom’s up-do to make sure she was satisfied. Book with them for your next event, especially wedding and you won’t be disappointed.

Great experience with makeup for wedding and bridal shower

Amy did my makeup and hair for my wedding and bridal shower. I received many compliments on my look and actually felt beautiful on both occasions. Amy and her team did a wonderful job! My hair is very straight and she was able to style it with curls that lasted through the entire night. My makeup also looked natural and flawless in my photographs. I was very happy with her professionalism and patience. Myself, my wedding party, and mom were all very happy and we all looked great for my special day.

Amazing hair and makeup!

Amy and Janet did such an amazing job with the hair and makeup at my wedding. Pre-wedding day Amy was very responsive, helpful, and patient with all my questions. On the wedding day Amy did phenomenal makeup that lasted all day long (at a full outdoor wedding) and Janet did wonderful updos! Highly recommend for any event you want to feel beautiful and special! Thank you Amy!

Amazing experience both leading up to and day of wedding

Amy and her staff were absolutely amazing to work with. From the beginning, Megan was able to help us coordinate trials for myself and my mom, flexible for my schedule as I was long distance. Every step of the organizational process was so easy and stress free. They really made us feel like we were in good hands, and followed through on the day of the wedding. Amy is so much fun-- had a blast with her and her team. Everything was great, timing, finishing touches, and just overall support. Would 100% recommend.

The South Beach Makeup Studio team was a dream to work with! They are organized and very reliable, with quick and thorough responses. I felt at ease no matter how many questions I asked or little changes I decided to make to my look. I felt confident and comfortable that I me and my girls were in good hands. Our makeup stayed while we danced all night long and our hairstyles held extremely well. They were affordable and reliable. All of my bridesmaids agreed that they were just an absolute joy to work with and i would highly recommend!

Natural ladies, South Beach Makeup Studio are great!

When my best friend chose SBMS for her wedding, I was unsure that they would know how to style my short to medium length, type 4, kinky hair. As a precaution, I went to the salon I usually see for kinky twists the Wednesday before the wedding for a plaited updo with bun. There were several events before the Saturday wedding and I wanted my hair to be styled for them as well. Unfortunately, the style did not last and the morning of the wedding, I was panicking. It was too late to wash my hair (which had required a lot of product for the original style), but it was clear that I could not recreate the previous style on my friend's big day. SBMS to the rescue! They managed to create a beautiful updo that got me through the wedding. They were incredibly kind and understanding (I was a last minute addition to their schedule) and they never once let me feel like I was inconveniencing them. When I washed my hair the evening of the wedding, there was no heat damage. My only regret is that I did not book them from the get go. I would definitely recommend them to brides and bridal parties of all ethnicities. Many thanks to Brittany and Nicole for hairstyling and Charlene for makeup!

The best people ever!

Besides how incredible my hair and makeup was with Amy, every single one of my 12 bridesmaids were happy with the way they looked - which is unheard of! Everyone on the team is so talented and listens to exactly what you want, and also knows things that you may not think you want and after seeing it, are so happy you trusted them. Not only did I feel and look like a princess and receive nonstop compliments, but the personalities of these ladies was everything and more that I needed on my wedding day. I am a bit of a nervous/anxious wreck, and after having 2 trials with Amy that was very well noted. She knew me and what triggers me, and kept me so calm my entire wedding day and even kept my bridesmaids and mom off my back so I didn't have to. Everyone was so professional, and I trusted every single one of them. Amy had a family emergency and didn't even mention it to me until she was finished getting me ready, and I had absolute no problem trusting Brittany to do my touch-ups, which of course she rocked!!! I truly love everyone at this company as people and their work. I would use them for any event, even a nice dinner given their reasonable prices!!!!!

Beautiful work

We loved working with South Beach Makeup. Megan was very responsive. I had a great trial with Nicole and then my mom and sister had separate trials. I loved the makeup and hair so much I used her for my bridal shower AND my wedding. We had four artists from South Beach Makeup for our wedding and everyone looked beautiful! So happy we used them!

Amy is absolutely AMAZING! She is so friendly, personable, charismatic and so much more. On my wedding day she was a constant cheerleader and smiling face! I had 6 bridesmaids, my mother-in-law and myself and South Beach was so efficient and everyone looked flawless. They made sure everyone was comfortable in their makeup look and worked with each woman to accomplish her desired look. We chose the best vendors for our wedding that all worked as a team. South Beach Makeup Studio was on our list as the best and they lived up to every expectation and more that we had!

I could not have been happier with Amy and Brittany. They came to the house where my party was getting ready. They did five of us with hair and makeup and just my mom's makeup. They were relaxed and flexible and everyone looked beautiful. I had one vision in my head of a slightly looser braided updo but realized half way thru I wanted it more structured. Brittany was amazing and fixed it right away. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out and how great they both were. It was the great start to a great day.

I am so glad I chose South Beach Hair and Makeup Studio to do my wedding last week for several reasons!:

First, Megan - their coordinator - is a complete sweetheart and professional. Setting up a last minute trial session and procuring a hair/makeup team for me within a month of my ceremony was no hassle with her help. As an out of state bride planning a destination wedding, this was a major plus!

Second, Brittany, the lead artist, did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. I'm usually low key when it comes to makeup. She did a great job of making me feel glamorous and sexy but not overdone! Her work held up through a beach ceremony and 4 hour outdoor reception, with no touch ups needed!

Third, Maria and McLaine - the other artists - made my bridal party look and feel amazing. One of my big goals for my wedding was for everyone in my party to feel beautiful and confident. Brittany, Maria, and McLaine made this happen!

Finally, the team all have great personalities and kept everyone in the room laughing. My mother in law (MIL) suffers from some memory loss and requested some extra services not included in our contract or timeline. Maria was very sweet in helping us accommodate my MIL's request and fitting the extra work into the team's busy timeline. I can't say enough good things about how special Maria made my MIL feel. The team finished everyone on time and everything went off without a hitch.

I booked with South Beach Makeup Studio after a positive experience as a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding. Amy, the owner, was lovely to coordinate with, and I could not have been happier with their performance on my wedding day. Punctual & perfectly professional. Beyond these essential basics, their work was absolutely exquisite. I had 9 bridesmaids (crazy, I know), and each looked stunning! My hair and makeup were, how shall I say, BALLER. I was not the traditional bride - more interested in fashion and an edgy aesthetic - and Mclaine did a BEAUTIFUL job on my makeup. Brittany did an awesome job on my hair and roughed it through 90 degrees and humid to make sure I stayed fab. Truly, I could not have had a better experience. Kind, warm, professional, and ridiculously talented. An amazing team of women.

Amy and her team did a great job. As a bride a looked amazing, like a star! My make up was perfect, hair was great (Amy was super flexible reacting to the wheater). Hair and make-up stayed perfect all day and night long - even after jumping into the pool! All my bridesmaids and flower girl looked great, hair and make up! Go for it!

I worked with South Beach Makeup Studio for hair and makeup for myself (bride) and small bridal party. We had Nicole and Mclaine and were beyond thrilled! Amy was very easy to work with in coordinating my trial and day of schedule. Nicole did a fabulous job and I am so pleased. She has a fantastic attitude and was great about accommodating a few changes I wanted to make after my trial. She is truly an artist. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair/makeup and am just thrilled with how all of our photos turned out. Our team was the best and they made our pre-wedding afternoon so enjoyable.

Amy, Director of South Beach is a loving, nurturing woman with a natural talent for hair and make up and selecting an amazing team to work with her for your wedding. My wedding party loved their hair and make-up. It was very professional, absoutely beautiful and very long-lasting!

For my bridal hair and make-up, the care and love Amy showed me was over-the-top and I cannot say enough things about how beautiful she made me look. I brought tears to my groom's eyes---she brought out so much beauty in me. I thank her and her team for being punctual and fun and a great group of people to make the wedding day a great success, thank you and please give Amy any feedback while she is doing your hair and make-up. Amy and her team were one the best vendors I booked for my wedding, I can't recommend SoBe makeup enough!!! If you want to look beautiful on your wedding day, this is the team to book. My hair and makeup were better then I could have ever dreamed for my wedding day, I honestly felt like a model all day. My makeup and hair stayed perfect from early in the morning until the late evening. On top of that all my bridesmaids looked beautiful as well (both hair and makeup). Amy and her team knew how to manage their time really well and were extremely professional from the moment booked. They're truly a talented team, I would book them again in the future if I ever needed my hair and makeup done.

Amy knows Miami hair and makeup! My wedding was in October with 1000% humidity. Despite that and dancing like a lunatic and sweating a ton, somehow my hair and makeup were totally in place at the end of the night (and it wasn't heavy or stiff, I don't know how she did it).
I live in NY and only went to Miami only once before the wedding so I had to have a little bit of faith and Amy nailed both the hair and makeup with minimal direction. My mother, sisters and bridesmaids were all really happy too, so all the people Amy brought were really good as well (vs when bridesmaids end up with someone a tier below). I also liked that Amy brought a large team so there wasn't a lot of waiting around. I would definitely recommend Amy to any friend.

Amy and her team are phenomenal! The whole team is punctual, professional, and able to keep the atmosphere calm and fun on the big day. Christina was absolutely amazing!!! She was able to pin point the look I was trying to achieve during the design session. She offered valuable suggestions to enhance my look for the wedding day. They did the hair and makeup for 12 women. They were absolutely wonderful! They could do any hair and the make up looked perfect ! I would recommend them to anyone . We plan on using them again for our next event.

We had Nicole do the bridesmaid's makeup for our wedding and she was FANTASTIC in every way. She listens, she's patient, and she's an excellent hair & make up artist!

GORGEOUS!!! Christina and Brit were absolutely amazing! I was afraid about having my hair and makeup done for my destination wedding because I was not going to have a chance for them to do a "trial run" beforehand and I didn't want my hair and makeup to not "look like myself". These girls were wonderful and made me look elegant and natural....they somehow knew EXACTLY what I wanted without even having to say a word! They also have great personalities that somehow made the pre-wedding jitters go away and we were all relaxed and enjoying the day!

Gave them five stars in all categories, without hesitation. We had a total of eight people in the bridal party who used the hair and makeup services - every single person was thrilled with the results! They LISTENED and captured everyone's unique style with different hairstyles (up-dos, half-ups, and mostly down) and varying levels of makeup.

My best friend was the bride and rarely wars make-up. What I appreciated the most about Christina was that she "interviewed" the bride. She genuinely sought understanding of exactly what she wanted for her wedding. In the end, she went with softer makeup, chose the perfect colors, and really enhanced my friend's natural beauty without making her look drastically different on her big day.

In addition to doing a fantastic job with everyone, the girls were professional, sweet, and fun to hang out with. We really enjoyed talking with them and hearing stories about other weddings, listening to girly music, etc. I would recommend them to anyone (airbrushing is AMAZING, BTW) and would hire them for my wedding in a heartbeat.

Brittany was fantastic! She came to my house for a trial a few months before my wedding and I liked her instantly. She listened to everything that I wanted, made changes as I asked for them, and had great advice for me, too. The day of my wedding, she was on time and was able to finish all the girls and my mom on time, too. I am so glad I hired South Beach Makeup Studio. Brittany was my hair and makeup stylist and we had another stylist to help with the 7 bridesmaids hair. They were early, knowledgeable and had so much fun with us the morning of the wedding. My hair and makeup looked amazing, as did my bridesmaids. I used South Beach Makeup Studio for my wedding after my wedding coordinator recommended Amy and her company. Best choice ever! Amy was so attentive and understood my wishes, as well as the needs of my two sisters, bridesmaid, mom, and mother-in-law. I met with Brittany for a trial a few weeks before the wedding and LOVED her! She is the best! I was immediately comfortable and knew that everything would go smoothly at the wedding. Brittany and Julie both arrived perfectly on time (even early) on the wedding day and made everyone look gorgeous. Plus, they made the atmosphere so relaxed and fun. The pictures that I have seen so far look stunning, thanks to their expertise. It was perfect!

I was so pleased with my wedding day makeup from South Beach Makeup Studio. Amy booked my two bridesmaids and myself with Christina, and she was absolutely fabulous! She was so meticulous with our makeup and hair details and very upbeat, even after working with us for hours. She is great! We were really happy with our hair and makeup.

Meanwhile, scheduling everything with Amy was very simple. She was quick to respond to calls/emails and even texts. I also really appreciated her advice when I had questions about making sure my makeup stayed put all day and night.

I totally loveeed South Beach service, they we amazing and they did exactly what I wanted. I had a big bridal party (12), plus 4 flower girls, plus moms and grandmas, I think in total they did like 22 people including myself and everybody was ready on time! they were very patient and helped me to make sure everything was in order and that I had a good time. FABULOUS! Amy and her team are just awesome. My BM's, Mom, MIL and myself had the best time getting hair and makeup done with the SoBe Makeup team. My girls looked so beautiful and so happy it brought tears to my waterproof mascara eyes. I changed my hair and makeup at the last minute and Amy had no problem rolling with the change, which was highly appreciated. Natural, smokey eye, high fashion etc Amy and her team can do it all. Even Obama had his makeup done by Amy, doesn't get better than that in my opinion.

OMG I cannot say enough about Amy Palma!!! She made me and my whole bridal party look just amazing! Everyone at our wedding could not stop commenting on our "gorgeous" wedding party--and its all thanks to Amy. Our wedding day was about 95 degrees and my makeup never melted, nor did it ever look caked on. I have never felt so beautiful as I did on my wedding day. My hair and makeup were beautiful. Everyone complemented me throughout the day. Amy Palma is a sweetheart. She did an amazing job. She was on time and very patient with my bridal party, which were not on time. She did a wonderful job on everyone! We were all very happy. Two parts to this review.

- This might sound horrible but... I looked so beautiful!!!! I couldn't believe how beautiful she made me. You couldn't see any of my flaws, no pimples, no wrinkles, no anything. I was just stunning on the most important day of my life. My eyes were amazing. I couldn't believe how amazing she made me look. My hair was exactly how I wanted it. I looked like a ballerina. I was beyond happy with Amy! I loved it! (Part One)

- I had like 20 woman that needed their hair and make-up done and Amy Palma and her team made it happen. She brought her team and stamped it out. Amy is a true business woman. My last email to her was like two day prior just adding more people to the list to get done (we were at a hotel getting ready). I was very concerned we wouldnt have enough time, but Amy got her team there and had enough time to add three more people that weren't on the list.

If you need your hair and make up done on the MOST Important day of your life. THIS is the woman for you. I love Amy, she is GREAT! We talked the whole time, she calmed me down! She is the best!

Amy Palma is AMAZING! She was recommended to me by both my photographer and my wedding planner, and for very good reason. She did my hair/makeup for my trial, which I used for my engagement shoot...then she came to our hotel w/ an assistant to get me and the ladies ready. She was incredibly patient, especially since I wasn't sure what I wanted to do w/ my hair...and had lots of great ideas. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day...and it was completely due to her work. And I have never seen my mom look so wonderful...everyone was so happy w/ their hair/makeup. I highly recommend South Beach Makeup Studio for wedding hair and make-up. Amy is very professional and easy to work with to coordinate scheduling. I cannot say enough good things about Nicole, the artist who did my wedding hair and make-up. Nicole worked with me to make sure I found the perfect wedding look that I was comfortable and happy with; she also made sure that my normally frizzy hair stayed the entire night even with dancing! Nicole also has a calming presence about her that certainly helps on the day of the wedding. Nicole and the wedding team arrived early on the morning of my wedding and were easy to work with. More expensive than other makeup artists out there - they were definitely good though. Christina was my makeup artist (along with some others for my bridal party and family). I loved what Christina did with my hair and makeup - I had some vague ideas about what I wanted and she was able to make something for me that I liked. The other girls did a wonderful job on everyone else as well. Amy was flexible too regarding some changes in the individuals who didn't want makeup last minute, and I really appreciated that. I would definitely recommend!

I was extremely pleased with South Beach Makeup! As a bride planning a wedding long distance, I am very appreciative of the flexibility and frequent communications. My trial was planned around a quick, last-minute visit to area and got me even more excited for the actual day! Christina does amazing work, both for hair and make-up. Also, her sweet and calm nature was a perfect compliment to what could be a VERY stressful day! My makeup and hair lasted all night through rain, extreme humidity, sweat, dancing, etc. She has a great vibe about her and is a true professional. She comes with everything including her own chair! My mother loved her hair and makeup. I think it was the best I had ever seen my moms makeup look. She allowed my mom to look at herself each step of the way. She has a ton of patience too. Lets just say someone (not me or my mom) tested her tolerance level and she was calm and professional the entire time.

Amy also came through big time when my bridesmaids needed help for free! The vendor hired to do my bridesmaids really dropped the ball and Amy is such a sweetheart she offered to help some of my girlfriends out. I cannot say enough good things about her or her talent!

Amy and her team were extremely responsible and still fun. They went above and beyond to help make my day special, even coming to the rescue on a nail crisis, and can't thank them enough. The quality of service was wonderful, and there were no surprises from the trial. They were able to handle a tight schedule with multiple different girls with various hair types/lengths, skin types/tones and personal preferences, including my flowergirls (3 and 5). They worked with all of our photographers and videographers to make sure even these moments were beautifully captured.

I used Nicole my hair and makeup for both the morning ceremony and evening reception. I had Brittany do hair/makeup for my mom and sister. Both artists are SPECTACULAR. Nicole achieved the exact look I wanted and customized my hair to accommodate my traditional Indian wedding jewelry. My mom (who asked for a natural look) and my sister (who asked for a fun look) were both pleased. We also got TONS of compliments on how beautiful we looked both in the morning for the ceremony and for the reception in the evening.

Brit did a great job, my hair and makeup looked awesome and they made my bridesmaids look beautiful. I loved the airbrush makeup, it lasted all day and night. The only issue was my hair- the curls came out pretty quickly, but the weather was humid and windy, so I'm sure that was the reason. I recommend them!

I hired this company because my sister used them about 4 years ago for her wedding so knew they would do a good job. It turns out they're in a transition period so I was working with one woman but my stylist was starting to take control. I had a hard time confirming things with the original woman but Brittany was great. She was sweet and responsive and easy to work with. My only complaint is that I provided a list of bridesmaids and my mom and the mother of the groom but it seems the list got jumbled and unfortunately, my mother was the last one ready. Because of that I do not have a single picture with my mom... But what can you do. Just make sure you're paying attention to who's ready when and make sure your mom is ready first so you have the getting ready pictures with her.

Long story short, Brittany is awesome and you will look STUNNING on your wedding day. The prices are reasonable and Brittany is very willing to work with you and adjust however you want her to. She and her team are the best.

Absolutely amazing, professional service. Amy was super sweet and helpful via phone and e-mail. Christina, my hair and makeup stylist was a blast to work with and so talented! I went over my beauty budget, but for quality service, not because of hidden fees on company end. They assured me that I would get what I paid for and I did. A few of my bridesmaids got service or touch ups, and the experience was great. I recommend a trail run, it was a perfect way to bond with the stylist and make the wedding day much more fun and stress-free.

I absolutely LOVED my hair and makeup for my wedding. These girls rock. Everyone kept saying how beautiful I looked. So did my my family and bridesmaids. Although the price is a little up there for the bride, it is definitely worth it. Definitely recommend them.

Easy correspondence with Amy, who was super sweet and professional via phone and email. Christina, my stylist for wedding hair and makeup, was absolutely amazing--very talented artist with a charming and genuine personality. I highly recommend a trial for wedding hair, the experience was enjoyable and allowed us to bond and fine-tune things before the big day! I felt price was a tad more than I wanted to spend, but really not outrageous for Miami area. I definitely was treated like a queen!

Amy's team at South Beach Makeup Studio were great. I worked with Brittany for my wedding and she was extremely friendly, punctual (important for a wedding timeline), and willing to work with us when additional people wanted hair and makeup. She made the day extremely relaxing and had a great sense of humor that kept me calm throughout the day. I highly recommend Amy and her team of professionals. They came highly recommended from my wedding planner, and they did not disappoint.

Great team! Nicole did my engagement makeup and hair and i still cant stop staring at my pictures. She also did my wedding make up and i felt like a princess. The rest of the team also came in for the wedding to do other makeup and hair and we all finished on time for our first look/bridal party pictures. the entire process was simple and communication was great. Megan replied seconds after any questions i had, and coordinated the entire day perfectly for me. im so grateful to this team!!!

I had two wedding events and hired South Beach Makeup Studio to do my hair and makeup for both events. I had Brittany for one event and Amy for the other. I LOVED Brittany -- she was professional, attentive, organized, talented. My mom, my best friend and I loved our hair and makeup. I would give her 5/5.

Amy was also very nice as a person but I believe she could work on her efficiency and organizational skills. Although the makeup and hair were nice, I just felt like we spent a lot of the time getting them done because she would jump from one person to the other without finishing anybody in one sitting.

All in all I loved the end product and would recommend them, especially Brittany.
