Soundwave Productions Review

We can’t say enough great things about DJ Kyle and MC Vince from Soundwave Pros! They absolutely crushed it at our wedding! The music was incredible, and they kept the energy high all night long. The saxophone player was such a fun and unique touch, and our dance floor was packed from start to finish. Vince did an amazing job hyping the crowd and making everything flow seamlessly. We had the best time and so did our guests. Highly, highly recommend the Soundwave Productions DJ and MC team!

10/10 best dj production

Where do I begin? SoundWave Productions was worth every single penny spent. We worked with Kyle as our DJ and Vince as our MC. We also added CO2 Cannons and Sparklers to the wedding.
CO2 cannons and Sparklers...boy oh boy, worth the hype, worth the photo op, and worth the experience.
Let's get down to business though. Kyle and Vince were the hype! They definitely got the crowd going and got everyone involved. The music choices were exactly what we wanted and more. Kyle did experiment out of our spotify list, but it was in the same genre that everyone had an amazing time. You can see based on the photos that they managed to keep the dance floor FULL! Every single person complimented on how fun the night was and how no one wanted to leave. We had a full house the entire night. Vince was even able to get my musical chairs game to be full of contestants. It was a very competitive game.
Even during our interview/walkthrough, Kyle and Vince asked very detailed questions about the timeline to make sure that they had A-Z figured out. They were both very fun and very personable. I would definitely get both of them again, the dynamic duo.
Kyle was more of an EDM type and definitely gave us a rave kind of night in the last hour. I don't remember much from the wedding but I do remember head banging at some point. Our wedding was in August so it was like a mini-HARD SUMMER IYKYK :D

I had an amazing time with both Vince and Kyle and would 10/10 recommend :)

Soundwave Productions (DJ Wil) was amazing for our wedding in San Clemente, CA. We loved every aspect of our wedding and was so grateful DJ Wil made the afternoon seamless. From the first consultation to our last song on the dance floor he was professional, confident and ensured that our wedding music would be perfectly catered to our style. You need them at your wedding!

Soundwave was one of the best company’s to have DJ our wedding. From start to finish they have the best communication and completely tailor your music to the genre you are looking for. DJ will was AMAZING! He killed it at our wedding that still to this day everyone has told me it was the best DJ they’ve ever heard. No one left the dance floor all night! He knew how to read the room! Made our wedding the best!

Soundwave and DJ Chris Berry are the best.

We were recommended to look into DJ Chris Berry and Soundwave Productions by a friend who had Chris DJ their birthday party. We then met Chris at a wedding show after chatting with him, we got the absolute best vibes, so we decided to hire Chris. He set us up with a quick and easy website where we could add songs we wanted him to play and songs we didnt want him to play. We were able to put in all the different songs we wanted throughout our day. Ceremony songs, processional, cake cutting, father daughter and mother son dances, all in one central place. We had a couple of different calls with him to go over everything and he was also very responsive every time we had questions. Email/text/call, it didnt matter he would always respond to us.

We had a very interesting request of songs, everything from spanish songs, to an emo set list, to the traditional bangers you want to hear. He was able to play all of them and do it in a way where the dance floor was never empty. We have received so many compliments about our DJ. He definitely made our party, the party of the century. I can not recommend soundwave and dj chris berry enough. Do yourself a favor and look into this vendor.

Chris is the man & exactly what what you need for your wedding

Chris is absolutely the man. I knew from our first phone call he was the man for the job. He totally brought the energy and enthusiasm that I was looking for in our wedding. He's such a cool guy and also the perfect MC. My bride & I have very different tastes in music and he perfectly combined everything. He's such a pro you can trust him with anything. He nailed the schedule and was also great on his feet when we had requests in the middle of sets. We had so much fun with him, and it was totally worth it to hire him despite getting married 3 hours away in SLO County. I hope to party with him again one day. Hire this man now!

Chris is the best DJ out there...full stop.

We asked for a lit wedding and Chris delivered in spades. A few of my friends are in the DJ scene and all of them said Chris made this one of their favorite weddings ever. He takes your likes and dislikes and makes something uniquely yours in a way that everyone can dance to. The energy he brought to the wedding was second to none. I can't recommend Chris enough. If you're lucky enough to work with him, you will not be disappointed. My wife and I are thinking about a second wedding together, just so we can work with Chris again.

DJ Drew and SoundWave Productions

In our search for a wedding DJ we stumbled across SoundWave Productions and are so glad that we did!! After listening to several of their DJ's mixes we felt DJ Drew perfectly fit the vibe that we were looking for on our wedding! After meeting with DJ Drew to discuss our vision for our wedding dance floor we were sold as we felt he would be a great fit. On our wedding day DJ Drew not only delivered but absolutely knocked it out of the park! We did not have a single moment of an empty or low energy dance floor which was a big fear of ours. SO many of our guests came up to us after the wedding and remarked that they couldn't believe how great our DJ was! We would highly recommend SoundWave Productions and Dj Drew for anyone looking to plan an event!

Book Soundwave Productions and DJ Wil Now!

If you are debating on which DJ to get and you see this review, let this be the review that ensures you pick Soundwave Productions!

We initially first came across Soundwave and DJ Wil at our friends' wedding. We were blown away at how smooth, professional, and FUN Wil was for our friends' wedding. We've been to weddings where the other DJs weren't prepared, didn't play any of the song from the bride and groom, and worst yet, read the wrong name when announcing the bride and groom. With Soundwave, you don't need to worry about ANY of that! We reached out to our friends to get the info for Soundwave and ended up choosing Wil as our DJ & MC and he was nothing short of spectacular!

DJ Wil was so professional, amicable, and responsive throughout the whole process. He helped us get started with our song selections and choosing the overall vibes of our wedding. We gave him certain songs we wanted played at the wedding and Wil did a great job curating a playlist that fit the songs we liked. Wil was really informative and walked us through everything step by step, breaking everything down for us, ensuring we didn't forget anything. You can tell he's super detail oriented, which you definitely want the DJ to be for your wedding! To spotlight Wil even more, for our bridal party entrance, we wanted a specific remixed song we found on Tiktok, and Wil went above and beyond and found that song. It really made a huge difference!

On the day of, Wil got to the venue early to have his booth and sound systems set up. He made sure to test out the sound systems to make sure everything sounded like how he wanted them to sound. He did the MCing and made everything flow so smoothly and naturally. Nothing seemed out of place. All the songs played were fitting to the mood and vibe. He also did an AMAZING job hyping everyone up and making sure everyone was having fun, no matter what age. Sooo many of our guests and friends told us that Wil was the best DJ they'd seen, and specifically talked about his song selections and his MCing!

Overall, we HIGHLY recommend the Soundwave team for weddings (or any events)! I want to shoutout Wil again, as he really made our wedding unforgettable. If you're still on the fence about them, book them now before they are booked!

Perfection

Words can’t express how incredible Chris Berry and Dom Rocks were!! I’m so happy they have such great content on their YouTube and Instagram pages because I was able to show my now husband that having a DJ and drummer was a non-negotiable for me!! Me husband and I were able to use their website to upload all of our must play and don’t not play lists so Chris could produce an epic show for us! We added a photo booth and the content was epic!! We sat down on a zoom meeting with him, told him the vibe we wanted, and the execution exceeded all our expectations!!! Chris also kept in touch in a prompt manner via email and text throughout the planning process. Our friends and family didn’t leave the dance floor until the venue kicked us out! High-Energy Dance Party!

DJ Keith is the BEST! Working with the Soundwave Productions Team was great - they are very responsive and took a genuine interest in getting to know our music style (likes and dislikes) before the big day. All the extra preparation paid off on the big day, and wedding day music was perfect! Guests were on the dance floor ALL night - until the venue kicked us out. And this is all thanks to DJ Keith!

Highly recommended!

We went with Soundwave Productions for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the service. DJ Drew was professional, friendly, and accommodating to our requests. He played a great mix of songs that suited our taste and kept the dance floor packed all night. He also did a fantastic job of MCing and announcing the events of the evening. He was very responsive to our emails and phone calls before the wedding and arrived on time with all the equipment he needed. We also added uplighting, co2 cannons, and highlight video to our package and we were blown away by the results. The uplighting created a beautiful ambiance in the venue, the co2 cannons added excitement and energy to the dance floor, and the highlight video captured all the best moments of our special day. DJ Drew made our wedding reception a memorable and fun experience for us and our guests.

We also want to give a shout out to Chris Berry, who helped coordinate everything with DJ Drew and made sure everything ran smoothly. He was very attentive, organized, and easy to work with. He took care of all the details and made us feel at ease. We appreciate his professionalism and dedication to making our wedding perfect.

Incredible DJs for our Unforgettable Day

We are so happy and grateful that we used Soundwave Productions for our wedding entertainment! The entire process of booking them, discussing our event, and finalizing the timeline was very smooth, professional, and clear. Chris Berry keeps everything really organized, and you genuinely feel how special he wants your services to be!

Kyle Norton (DJ) and Vince Vicari (MC) were perfect for our special day! Thanks to the planning tools and check in meetings we had, the energy and music style was great from Kyle and I feel like he understood exactly what we wanted. Vince is the life of the party, and definitely a fantastic hype man! He kept things flowing in a fun, lighthearted way, while also keeping us on track! Absolutely amazing

AMAZING, absolutely amazing from our first call with Chris Berry to the very end of our wedding day. Having SoundWave Productions as our DJ/Music vendor for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Out of all the decisions that need to be made while planning a wedding, having a great DJ was my top priority - my husband and I wanted a reception where everyone was dancing and having a good time and that was absolutely delivered.

Chris Berry is very professional, timely, and was able to fully understand the exact vibe/energy I wanted for the day which resulted in him pairing us perfectly with the correct DJ/MC for our special day. He paired us with DJ Wil and he truly made it the best day ever!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and that is largely due to DJ Wil with his DJ and MC skills! He kept everything flowing well and hyping/engaging our guests the entire night. I cannot count how many compliments we received from all our family and friends about DJ Wil. He truly knew how to keep the party going for all guests despite their age. He played all the right songs for each generation with amazing transitions! We still talk about how our wedding was the best wedding ever (maybe we are bias..) and DJ Wil definitely was a major factor of that.

Outside of having the perfect DJ for our day, SoundWave Pros also provided us with C02 cannons, a live Saxophone player during our reception and a photo booth!! The CO2 cannons were literally the best addition and honestly made my night when we got to blast them into the crowd! They are so much fun and I highly recommend them to any couple looking to add something special to their reception!

SoundWave Productions is a MUST

SoundWave Productions was a preferred vendor from our wedding venue; however, it wasn't until we found out that so many of our friends had used them for their weddings and had only good things to say about them, which allowed us to book them too without hesitation. Our first meet with Chris was very professional (he had a full on presentation deck about their services!) and we loved his vibe, we could tell he was extremely experienced. During our formal meeting with our assigned DJ (Christina) and Chris, they went through all the pertinent details in terms of the timeline, what our wedding crowd would be like, what our type of music/vibes are like, and etc., to pick out the perfect music playlists/songs for us, which we really appreciated. Christina also asked us if we would like to integrate some cultural theme/music for our wedding playlist as we are Asian, which was personable of her too! Fast forward to our wedding day, everything went so smoothly. In addition, my brother had prepared a surprise for us, which he sang a song for us during our ceremony and none of this was discussed with Christina and Chris during our formal meet (obviously). But somehow, Christina was able to grant my brother's request very last minute and it is honestly something I'll remember and cherish for the rest of my life! Our guests also had a blast with the music bumpin' and the COOL uplighting that SoundWave Productions offers. So many of our friends/guests informed us that the DJ and music was good, which is one of the most important things at a wedding, and I'm so grateful SoundWave Productions and Christina were able to make that happen on our big day.

The best to work with!

We recently got married at Marbella and Jake and Michael did the BEST job with Djing our wedding. Weeks leading up to the wedding we were in close contact and they listened to our requests and helped guide us in the right direction to make sure our wedding went smoothly. Everyone on the dance floor

My now husband and I were searching for a great DJ for our wedding. We knew it was important to find a great one who would be an awesome MC and play great music. We searched and found SOUNDWAVE!

We originally thought we’d go with Chris but when we learned he was booked we began listening to all the live mixes. We read up on the experiences of all the DJs and after listening to them all we knew WE HAD TO CHOOSE DJ WIL. The forms on the website make it so easy to get things filled in. Like first dance song, mother/son & father daughter & more. When we had our phone call with Wil he was very detailed and super cool to talk to! Let it be known he’s an expert in his field!

The wedding day was amazing! He arrived dressed the part as our dress code was formal attire. He nailed it as an MC and kept everything flowing so well. The music transitions were a huge deal for us and he NAILED every single one. Our wedding was at Falkner Winery in Temecula. Cocktail hour, the dinner and a lil dancing took place in the reception garden and DJ Wil kept it tasteful with all generations on the dance floor. At 10pm we moved locations to the restaurant per winery rules and DJ Wil brought the PARTY! Even then, alllll generations were still on the dance floor! Even with some requests from our family and friends he managed to play all that we had hoped for! My husband and I were told Wil looked sharp and played great music all throughout the night. We were asked where we found this DJ and were told we had a very classy wedding! We attribute most of that to Wil and can’t thank him enough for our classy yet ragging wedding with the bride dancing on tables and groom being thrown into the air! Look no more for your DJ, SOUNDWAVE PRODUCTIONS is the way to go! Thank you DJ Wil for one our fave pics!

Most memorable night!

Soundwave productions went above and beyond for our wedding day! Chris Berry couldn't have been a better choice for us to make sure both of our unique reception locations never stopped partying. He was so great to meet with us before the wedding to get to know us as a couple and to further make sure everything went seamlessly as we had to have him DJ in two locations. The music he played was always in line with the vibe we wanted to create and he was able to surprise us with performances as well! The cold sparklers and CO2 cannons were such a hit, would definitely recommend this company if you are looking for a DJ for any party! We are so grateful to have had the organization and support from soundwave for our special day.

Best dj ever!

You will not regret hiring SoundWave Pros for your wedding! We worked with Chris for our wedding at the Casino in San Clemente and loved every minute of our experience. Chris is a professional and is extremely talented at what he does. We knew music and having a DJ was important for our wedding and he gave us the best dance party ever. All our guests have been raving about how fun our wedding was! We also added lighting to our package and I'm so glad we did. He even surprised us and brought the CO2 cannons! If you want your guests to have fun, just hire Chris and that will be taken care of!

Amazing DJ

SoundWave Productions and Chris Berry were amazing at our wedding! When we first met with Chris, he was very prepared, professional, and fun, so we knew that we had found the right person for the job. SoundWave’s system made it really easy for us to request songs and ensure that Chris understood the overall vibe that we were looking for. We are the type of couple that spends the entire night out on the dance floor, and Chris provided the perfect music all night long for us to have the most fun and dance the night away. He was perfect as a host for the wedding as well because he did not get too involved and make the wedding about him, which was exactly what we had asked after seeing other DJs do so! He also provided beautiful lighting for our reception, which changed to different colors to make the dancing even more fun. But our favorite part was the CO2 guns! That was something that we were so excited about, and it did not disappoint. Our guests were amazed! Thank you for making our wedding perfect, Chris!

Amazing dj's that make everything easy

These guys were absolutely amazing for our wedding. They were professional and very communicative leading up to our wedding. The pre-wedding zoom call helped set the stage for all of the music and specific requests. The day of, we just let them take care of keeping people on the dance floor, and our wedding was small, but they made the reception a party! The Dj is also so much more than someone playing tunes. Our DJ was doing lots or skilled transitions between songs and really showcased his skillset while keeping the party going. They did a great job interacting with our guests and MC'ing the party.

The Best DJ in Southern California

Every couple needs Soundwave Productions at their wedding! Chris did our lighting, sound systems, and was our DJ - and it was all so amazing!! We can’t possibly say enough great things about him. Leading up to the event Chris was super helpful and organized and the Soundwave Productions planning platform was incredibly helpful and easy to use. During our wedding our guests could not stop coming up to us and telling us how fantastic our DJ was. We had three full hours of uninterrupted dancing planned and the dance floor was full the entire time with guests of all ages. Chris took our must play song choices and genre preferences and put together the perfect sets, which were clearly personalized to us and the music we said our crowd might like. Perhaps to sum it up best I’ll quote one of my guests who said “he keeps playing songs I forgot I loved but are the BEST” and it was so true! Chris was paying attention to the crowd and reading the vibe of the dance floor the entire night. We particularly loved how he grouped songs together and played just the perfect length for each song. We truly must have had half of our guests stop us throughout the night just to comment on the music.
As an MC and announcer Chris was perfect as well. He got the energy up for moments such as the first dance but was never cheesy. He was the perfect person to announce all of the toasts and was incredibly respectful to everyone. He made all of the toasters and parents feel very comfortable. Chris is incredibly professional in all that he does and makes everyone who interacts with him feel at ease. We knew we could trust Chris completely and he went above our wildest expectations.
If you do not work directly with Chris Berry for your event I know that the rest of his team must have the same level of professionalism, talent, and dedication as he sets such a wonderful example of it himself. You can tell the Soundwave Productions team really cares about you and making your event as great as possible, no matter which professional is your lead DJ. I am sure that any member of the Soundwave Productions team will put time and effort into making your event as perfect and personalized as possible.

Chris is the best !!!

We loved working with soundwave throughout the entire process . They have an awesome online system that gave us music ideas and allowed us to simply upload whatever songs we had chosen . It was so easy to use . Our meeting with Chris left us feeling at ease knowing he would make our day amazing. He did so good at reading the room throughout the night and playing music everyone would love. We are so glad we went with him!!

We were recommended to work with Soundwave Productions for our wedding by both our venue and our coordinator, and we're so glad we did!

From the very beginning, the process was so smooth, and the team was so responsive. On their website, we were able to hear mixes from all the DJs to learn each of their styles, and we were so excited to work with Drew - in one of his mixes, we even heard songs we forgot to add to our playlist!

In the months leading up to our wedding, the Soundwave team sent a detailed form for us to complete to really learn our vibe, and we had a follow-up call with Drew as well - we clicked right away!

On the day of, Drew was incredible, and the ceremony and cocktail hour ran as smoothly as we could've asked for. When we got to our reception room, we even saw the DJ booth had our names displayed so beautifully - it was the nicest surprise!

The energy was so high throughout the night, as Drew kept the speeches, bouquet toss, and cake cutting running perfectly. Cut to the dance floor after dinner, and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ set. Drew totally understood the type of music that kept our guests hyped, and kept us dancing until the very end!

Next Level Production Team!!!

We used SoundWave for our recent wedding and let me just start by saying these guys are NEXT LEVEL!!! Hiring them for our DJ/emcee needs (and more!) was probably one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From the beginning, Chris was super responsive and helpful and listened to all of our requests. Jake and Michael are hands-down the BEST DJ/emcee duo - fun and hip but also super professional and attentive and made sure our music selections went off without a hitch! I had provided playlists in advance for dinner and dance and they played everything from R&B and hip hop to Sinatra to Spanish with perfect transitions so there was never a dull moment! This, combined with the addition of the amazing drummer Diego, had our guests out of their seats and on the dance floor the entire night! The energy was INSANE! Our family and friends literally cannot stop talking about the DJ/drummer combo! SO worth every penny! 1000% recommend!! Don't think twice!

As if all of this wasn't enough, we also opted for sparklers and CO2 guns which totally surprised and wowed our guests at different moments throughout the evening! It was literally a MOVIE! Our family and friends were in total awe and could not believe what they were experiencing! EPIC!!! We also had the team do uplighting for our event, which totally set the ambiance throughout the night as we had a very dim, candlelit reception. The lighting was the perfect touch, super classy and on point. So glad we decided on the lighting as it was a must and really helped set the mood.

We had the most beautiful and fun wedding day and SoundWave had so much to do with making it all possible. Chris and his crew know what they are doing! BEST of the best, hands-down! I am a pretty particular client and had a very specific vision for my wedding and these guys far exceeded my expectations! My husband and I cannot thank the team enough! Can't wait for our next celebration with them again sometime soon!!!

Created the perfect wedding ambience

DJ Chris was INCREDIBLE!!! He worked with us to capture every musical mood of our wedding day - from the 60s/70s California sunshine cocktail hour to the 40s/50s romantic candlelight dinner reception to keeping EVERYONE ON THE DANCEFLOOR ALL NIGHT LONG WITH THE BEST THROWBACKS/PUMP UP SONGS! Professional, reasonably priced, responsive

My venue gave me a list of preferred vendors. Soundwave responded super quickly, very professional (and not too pushy), and very reasonably priced.

When we had to postpone the wedding due to COVID, there was no penalty and they were very understanding about the situation.

About a month before the wedding, we met with Wil (our DJ), he was super understanding and he understood our concept, which was 90s/00s music, modern/classic lighting, and bride/groom didn't want too much talking and didn't want to be constantly in the spotlight. After talking to him, we found him to very flexible and chill. He gave us comfort that he will adjust accordingly on the day of, if for example, if there weren't as many people on the dance floor, he would play some music to bring the crowd in, etc.

Great to work with!

It was a great, positive experience working with Soundwave Productions! Chris was quick to respond to my emails and answered any questions that I had. The online portal system we used to request our music was very user friendly and made it easy to organize our music playlist based on cocktail house, dinner, and dancing music. There’s a wide range of music selection and if you can’t find a particular song, you can add your own. You’re also able to easily select songs to be used for the processional, recessional, first dance, etc. The DJ booth had our name on it with a design that matched our wedding theme. It was an unexpecting and nice touch! Drew was our DJ for the event and was easy to work with. We had an in-person meeting within 30 days of the wedding to go over the timeline to ensure everyone was on the same page and also to get a sense of our music taste/style. My only complaint was not playing all our requested dancing music. I believe I had maybe 10 songs requested that I particularly wanted to be played on the dance floor and I can’t recall 2 songs that were played. Granted the night ended early and I could’ve requested those songs be played before we called an end to the night, but there was too much happening all at once and the next thing you know, the night has ended. I suppose I was just hoping those particular dance music requests would be played earlier when the dance floor opened up to everyone. We also utilized the social photobooth, which is very user friendly. You can take photos, videos, gifs, and boomerangs and you receive it instantly upon email/text! Everyone has access to all photos taken. Overall, I’m happily satisfied with DJ Drew and Soundwave Productions and would definitely recommend them for future events!

Dance floor was packed the whole night!

Chris, Diego, Derek, and the entire SoundWave team were incredible! We decided to go with the DJ + Drummer package and it was absolutely worth it, an amazing alternative to a live band. Chris was a dream to work with - he was flexible when we postponed our wedding due to covid and he had great questions to help us figure out the vibe for the night. Great mix of tunes for the older and younger folks. He also surprised by bringing a live saxophone player to join the crew, which was phenomenal! The dance floor was packed the whole night! Loved our DJ

I can confidently say that Chris was the glue that held our reception together. I didn’t have a coordinator and it was Chris who made sure the flow of everything went smoothly. We especially loved how great of a job he did with our bridal party introduction and his funny sound effects during our dinner game entertainment.
We would recommend him to all of our friends and family. Also, a bunch of our guests already reached out to us for his name! We have been to our share of weddings and there are always those DJs that don’t know how to work the crowd as well as have the evening flow. But Chris, I would highly recommend!!

DJ Chris Berry!

Chris was the DJ recommended to us by our wedding planner. He was fantastic! Honestly, I’m not a big dancer, but he did such a great job reading the room. Lots of guests came up to me after the wedding and told me how much they loved Chris’ DJ style.

HOW IT WORKS:
You can preview some of the DJs on the site and ask to interview with the ones who match your vibe best.

You then have a short phone call with them. Once you’ve chosen your DJ they set you up with the client portal where you fill out all the music picks. Super easy to use and organized.

Chris also has tons of suggested music options, so if you have no idea where to start, he’ll help you out.

Chris was really nice and flexible when we had to postpone our wedding. I know COVID hit the wedding industry bad, but he was so nice about it. It made it a little easier on us since we were just as sad to postpone.

You need DJ Chris Berry from Soundwave Pros at your wedding and parties!!!

DJ CHRIS BERRY IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. We found Soundwave Productions through IG when we saw a video of the Co2 guns at a wedding and we knew we had to book them. Through multiple postponements, he was very understanding, accommodating and supportive and always fast to respond to emails. They also have a great online portal system that helps you select songs, artists, genres for every part of your wedding. They also have of lists of top songs available in case you song ideas for your grand entrance, procession, etc. With that said, we only filled out a few parts of it to give Chris an idea of what we liked and we trusted him to take it from there and he of course did an amazing job.

We told Chris we wanted to have a dance party and that’s exactly what he gave us. With COVID, it’s understandable that we wouldn’t have a packed dance floor, but Chris kept the energy up the entire evening. In addition to his DJ skills, he was also great on the mic. My friends love requesting songs (even if they’ve already been played) and Chris was always very accommodating. Fast forward to the after party, Chris set up the uplighting, the Co2 cannons and it was everything we could have asked for and more. We had so much fun and danced the night away. He truly exceeded our expectations and made our wedding a day to remember and we are so very grateful!

Incredible- book them asap!!

Chris and Diego were absolutely incredible!! I had never heard of a dj/drummer duo before, and am so thankful our wedding planner pointed us in their direction. Because we had a small wedding due to covid, I was nervous the small size would impact the energy. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Everyone was on the dance floor almost the whole time- we even ended up asking them to stay additional time everyone was having so much fun. On top of that, some guests even asks for their business cards at the wedding!

Great experience

My husband and I were debating whether we needed an DJ/MC for our mini wedding (42 guests). We were leaning towards no but our planner convinced us that it'll be helpful to at least have someone to make the announcements. We decided to book Soundwave and we're happy that we ended up doing it. DJ Wil helped manage the flow of the event, made sure we stayed on schedule, made announcements, provided extra lighting and the sound system. His playlist was great and fit the vibe. Overall, he was really cool and did a wonderful job.

Soundwave Productions – YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!

We found them at the Bridal Expo in Orange County back in 2018! We met MC Michael and DJ Jake and who would have thought 2 years later in the making especially through this pandemic that they were still available and be a part of our special day on October 10, 2020 at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach. It was EPIC.

MC Michael – So PROFESSIONAL and kept our wedding super pumped and so much positivity and everything just “flowed”. We HIGHLY recommend Michael as a Master of Ceremonies! Everyone had so much fun and no one did not want to leave. One more last song…no really one more last song! Haha

DJ Jake – So LIT and even line danced with our guests! Who does that! That is what you call “ENGAGED” with the DJ and crowd! High energy / excellent music choice / crowd pleaser and so much more! We HIGHLY recommend DJ Jake!

Chris – Amazing! About a month before the wedding date. Chris took the extra effort to meet in person and go through the timeline. That is what you call “over and beyond”. We appreciated it very much especially amid a pandemic! We HIGHLY recommend Chris!

Overall – We truly enjoyed Soundwave Productions (Michael and Jake) as it was a smooth planning process and we love their online platform as it was easy to navigate (it’s the behind the scenes that count as well). Its challenging times for sure, but we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Soundwave Productions as they will work with you and “flexible” is the key word to an amazing and excellent vendor to make your dreams come true! Best dj and mc!

DJ Jake and MC Michael was AMAZING! We
met them at a Bridal Expo at the Pasadena Convention Center. What caught our attention was their energy and vibe. We wanted a DJ and MC who will entertain the crowd and they sure did. Everyone at the wedding enjoyed their company. Michael did an awesome job pronouncing Asian names. Jake was dancing all night while DJing which all my guest loved. On top of that, Mike’s awesome energy on the mic got all the young crowd on the dance floor. The best part was the CO2 guns !!! The process from the time we booked till the wedding day was an easy process for us. Communication was excellent. Adaptable professionals!

Chris and Drew were the DJs at our wedding and they were AWESOME! Because of restrictions due to COVID-19, our venue did not permit us to have a formal reception, but we still needed a DJ for our small ceremony. These guys were incredibly adaptable to whatever the situation called for, and they were able to anticipate exactly what we needed. For example, right after our first dance, my dad came up to me and said we should do a father-daughter dance that we did not plan for, but I was into it! We asked to DJs to play a song for us. We had no idea what we wanted, so they chose and played "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong, and it was absolutely perfect for our father-daughter wedding dance. From now on, that song will always remind me of that perfect moment dancing with dad at my wedding and how wonderful the world truly is. Another example of these DJs' ability to read the situation and adapt is when they started playing fun 70s dance music after our ceremony, despite my crazy plan for whimsical celtic music. I am so glad these professional situation-readers played fun dance music so that I and the guests could dance a little bit (socially-distanced of course) after the ceremony! Best dj's! Party 4 sure

SoundWave and DJ Wil made our wedding the party of our dreams! Having good music was one of our top priorities and DJ Wil absolutely crushed it. Not only was the planning easy with his very relaxed and extremely detailed oriented style, but he went above and beyond on our wedding day to meet all of our special requests. We had an unconventional Grand Entrance, and he was able to get all the guests excited and dancing to it. He also did a fantastic job mixing arabic, assyrian, and english songs for our wedding. He kept our timeline on track and has impressive MC skills, reading the crowd and is the ultimate hype man! We also booked their CO2 blaster (highly recommended for anyone looking for a party atmosphere!) and DJ Wil flawlessly got all of our guests to jump and dance with us.

Soundwave also has a great website where you can upload all the songs you want played at your wedding, and has it organized based on category and type of song. This made the experience super easy on our end. I also had spoken to the owner, Chris, and he was super nice in the process. I highly recommend Soundwave and DJ Wil to anyone looking for a great wedding experience.

Outstanding!

DJ Chris Berry and Soundwave Productions are the BEST!!! Music was very important to my husband and I. Finding the right DJ was very important to us and was I was nervous we wouldn't find one that would meet our expectations. Well, Chris EXCEEDED our expectations and we had the party of a lifetime! From the first phone conversation to the last song, Chris was extremely professional and so fun to work with. He knew exactly what songs to play to keep our dance floor full the entire night. He got an idea of the type of music we liked and from there he just did his thing! I still have so many guests who have come up to me saying the DJ was the best DJ they have experienced at a wedding and the music was so good, and the dancing was so fun! We got the C02 cannons, which I HIGHLY recommend. They are so fun for the bride and groom and the guests loved them! I want to have another party just so Chris can come be our DJ! We found Soundwave Pro at one of the Bridal Expos we attended in Orange County. We ended up meeting with and booking DJ Jake and Emcee Michael and they were so great for our wedding.

They worked with us on every aspect of the wedding from how much Emcee participation we wanted to how we wanted to transition the events throughout the evening. They both did a great job and we appreciate how much energy they put into making our night perfect.

GREAT DJ and MC for our wedding!

We loved Soundwave productions and are so happy we had them for our wedding on 8/17/19 at the Surf and Sand in Laguna Beach, Ca. We had Chris as our DJ and he also brought another DJ with him. Chris was the perfect MC and DJ and helped with the lighting too! And he added in (with no cost) 2 fog guns for my husband and I to use on the dance floor-so fun for our guests! They really brought the party!

We found this company at one of the Bridal Expos we attended in LA and we were so fortunate because they are AMAZING!
Michael (MC) and Jake (DJ) made an awesome duo for our wedding night on September 21,2019 at The Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach.

From start to finish the planning process and phone calls were seamless and simple. They were very accommodating especially since we were planning an LA wedding from San Francisco.

We love that you put in your timeline and can customize everything through their portal. They also offer lighting that they control (this really made the party!) and CO2 canons (which we did and LOVED)

Michael did a wonderful job with all of the names and introductions! They were on time and professional about everything. Can we also say that they are just amazingly cool people!

Amazing dj and service

Best DJ EVER!! And Lights!

Soundwave pros came highly recommended to me through my planners and wow- they really lived up to their reputation! They also do beautiful lighting which is a must added touch to your ceremony We did chandeliers, uplighting, and paper lanterns. When it comes to a DJ, i know it is kind of a blind trust situation-but i promise you are in GREAT hands with soundwave-especially DJ Jake!! He was so much fun and made the night amazing. We also suggest doing the CO2 smoke tanks for the dance floor-they were a huge hit. Also if you’re really into music you can have a huge say in the songs you pick and they have a great online portal where you can plug everything in. Definitely recommend!! They made the wedding a success!!

Best DJ ever!

Chris Berry was our wedding DJ for our Bel Air Bay Club wedding in October 2019. He was highly recommended by my wedding planner and we knew we wanted to hire him as soon as we spoke on the phone. I think the reviews speak for itself and we've had a phenomenal experience like hundreds of couples that have used SoundWave Productions. All our guests had so much fun at the reception and complimented on how good the DJ was - it meant that everyone had a great time! Even my grandmother went on the dance floor to boogie! After Party DJ

We hired a live band for our daughters wedding but needed a DJ for the After Party. Soundwave worked with us on a package that was just right for the 2 hours that we needed a DJ. They also provide the uplighting for the room and it was just as expected.

Soundwave was wonderful

We hired Soundwave after speaking to a few DJs and really liking our conversation with Keith. He offers suggestions and sits down with you to go over your day from beginning to end, helping you step by step. On the day, Keith was awesome! He got our song changes for the ceremony perfect and was the perfect MC to set the tone for the reception. He helped move us along to stay on time, but never rushed us. His music selections were great and he was even out there on the dance floor showing our guests how to do certain dances. We received a lot of compliments on how much they liked the music and organized the reception was. Seriously, Keith will not disappoint!

Awesome DJ!

Chris was an awesome DJ. He was great to talk to before the event to make sure we were all on the same page. During the day of the event he was able to read the crowd and really keep the party going. His CO2 canons really was a touch no one had ever seen at a wedding and they are still talking about them today! I would highly recommend Chris and his team for any special event.

Chris Berry!!

We used Soundwaves Productions for our wedding and could not be happier.

Soundwaves Productions provided a beautiful white seamless dancefloor with our choice of gold vinyl decal, drapery for the entire ballroom, up lighting, MC, CO2 guns, and awesome music!

We had DJ Chris Berry do our wedding and he was awesome! We had an initial consulting meeting in-person at the studio, followed by email communications, and a final run through in-person meeting. We were very pleased with how personable and accommodating he was with the whole process. He answered all our questions, provided quick feedbacks, and guided us throughout the entire wedding plan process. We really would recommend him if you get the chance. He made our night very special by playing the exact type of music that we requested and just setting the mood for the rest of the wedding!

If we ever need a DJ we definitely will come back and we're extremely satisfied with the service. If you're reading this thanks Chris!

Best wedding dj ever

DJ Wil was the BEST DJ I have ever heard at a wedding. We knew going into the wedding that our guests would want to dance, so music was a huge priority for us. He blew our expectations out of the water. The dance floor was packed the entire night, but not just because our guests wanted to dance, but because the music was so good, nobody had the opportunity to leave the dance floor. We kept hearing people say things like, “I need to get another drink but I can’t leave during this song!!” He had everyone stand up around us during our first dance and after that nobody sat back down.

Not only was the day of amazing, the preparation process was great as well. Wil was professional and took the time to understand our music taste. We met for a little over an hour a couple weeks before the wedding and he went through every style of music and how involved we wanted our DJ. He asked if we wanted him to pump up the crowd or be subtle in the background. DJ Wil even mixed a song for us exactly how we wanted for our walk in. He provided exactly what we wanted and I am confident that no matter what taste in music you have, what your goal is for the night, or any special requests, he will deliver.

Our experience with Soundwave Productions was great, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I cannot believe how lucky we got with them. If you are looking for a wedding or event DJ, book them now!!

The perfect flow - we danced all night!

I used Soundwave for my wedding in October 2018 and it was the perfect choice! We told Michael that dancing was a priority for the night and he kept the energy high and the music good! It was a fabulous mix of newer music, classic hits, and surprises. He was attentive during the planning process, asking all the right questions to gauge exactly what sort of event we were looking for and the mood we wanted. He took our suggestions and had some of his own. Michael was very open to our thoughts, and he even helped us plan a special shout out and song for a guest whose birthday was on the same night as a surprise for him. Michael really did everything right - we told him we wanted to dance all night and that's exactly what we did!

The Best Choice

Soundwave Productions was such a great vendor. They are extremely organized and really help take time to get everything perfect and just the way you want it. Their system to plan the music selection for both your ceremony and reception is highly detailed and very user friendly. Our DJ Wil was beyond amazing. He took the time to chat with us about which songs we wanted and what type of music should be played and offered great suggestions. The whole night, we got compliments from our guests about the music and our officiant even asked for our DJ and the company's information because of how professional they were and he wanted to book them for his upcoming wedding. DJ Drew Pierce was so freakin awesome. He was our DJ for our wedding in San Clemente in September. First, Soundwave Productions is super organized, so they send a comprehensive online set of forms to fill out a month prior to your wedding date to make sure they have all the correct information about the timeline/event, as well as everything they need to know about your music tastes and dislikes. DJ Drew 100% understood exactly what we liked. For the ceremony, cocktail hour, transitions, speeches and crazy dance party, we could not have been happier with DJ Drew. He kept everything flowing, kept a low profile, and seriously created the best dance party we have ever experienced. We got so many compliments after, from hoarse voices of guests after dancing and screaming so much. He was awesome, and I am not exaggerating: we could not recommend him more.

Soundwave Productions was on a preferred vendor list for our venue in San Clemente and thank goodness they were. We were SO pleased with their services from the get-go. Chris was extremely communicative over e-mail while answering our preliminary questions. He put us in touch with DJ Mark who immediately put us at ease. Mark worked with us to create our playlist of "special songs" and also took the time to get a feel for what our guests would (and wouldn't) want to hear. He also hopped on the phone with us a week prior to our event to hammer out all of the MC details and remaining questions we had. Before, during, and after our event DJ Mark continuously checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and were happy with the way things were running. We felt incredibly well taken care of. The entire day was wonderfully executed, and I can't keep track of how many compliments we got on our music. Our dance floor was PACKED from start to finish. DJ Mark did a masterful job with transitioning from oldies to top 40 and everything in between, reading the room to ensure that the guests were into each song choice. Highly recommend their services and wish we could hire them and party all over again!

P.S. Their lighting options added such great ambiance to our event! It's something we hadn't considered initially but we are so grateful that we did.

The DJ makes the party and thats exactly what DJ Wil did. He is our super hero! He knew what songs to play to get the crowed going! he had all our guest dancing the night away! Any time we had a question they were very quick to respond.
We met up with Wil to review last minute things and he helped us create a timeline.. we didn't know we needed one and he took over and created one for us and sent it to our venders. He didn't have to do it but took that extra step to ensure he went above and beyond.
We also go the white dance floor, decal and uplighting ( highly recommend) it made the hall look extra nice! so worth the money!
Overall, we are very satisfied and all the guest couldn't stop talking about how amazing DJ Wil was :)
Thank you for going above and beyond for us on our special night!

We had a great experience with DJ Drew and the SoundWave team. The process was easy from start to finish. The web portal they provided made it very easy to select our favorite songs and identify which ones were to be our first dance, father/daughter dance, etc. Drew completely understood the tone we were going for and was a great fit as a professional, fun host who didn't get cheesy or overbearing.

SoundWave Pros was amazing! It's nice to bundle lighting and music together and they have beautiful chandeliers for rent which is awesome! After the initial inquiry, my husband and I were contacted very rapidly and set up our initial consultation. They were very flexible as we were able to do a Skype consult to meet our DJ and go over the services that we wanted. DJ Chris Berry was amazing! He got to know us and our vision for our wedding and was able to surpass our expectations the day of the wedding! The prices for the services are very doable and worth it because of the quality you get with SoundWaves Pros. The DJ can really make or break the party and we cannot have gone with a better person to help MC and navigate our wedding. We had will as our DJ and he was amazing. Fantastic communication from the beginning. He had forms to help us with our timeline and to give detailed notes on what we wanted and did not want. Their website was so easy to use they had suggestions of top 100-200 of songs for each section of the wedding which was very helpful if you don't quite know which songs would be good to use.

We had an initial introductory meeting and also a final detail meeting. Will was very easy to reach via phone or email and when we wanted to add in a last minute slideshow the week of he was able to help us with it to work in our budget and make sure that it worked properly when we sent over the file. He was in good communication with our coordinator and checked in on us multiple times through the night to make sure we didn't have any questions or concerns. I had multiple family and friends compliment that the party was always hopping! We all had a fantastic time and can't thank Will enough for doing a awesome job!

DJ Keith was our DJ at Cannon’s on 4/28/18. Keith was great right from the moment we met him for the consultation and we hired him and SoundWave Productions the same day. He listened to everything we wanted through the planning process. The day of the wedding he was set up early, worked with our coordinator, and dressed professional. He had all of our guests hyped up and on the dance floor the entire night. Numerous people commented on how fun the music and dancing was. He even got on the dance floor to help teach people the “wobble.” He kept the party going! We HIGHLY recommend SoundWave and Keith for your wedding. I got married on 1.13.18 in Los Angeles and worked with Chris Berry and Soundwave Productions for lighting at our wedding. Chris went above and beyond from the moment I met him - starting with a venue walk through the day his wife was slated to give birth to their child (I found this out once we were already at the venue otherwise I would have NEVER done that to him!!) He's wonderful and very talented - he created a perfect logo for us, executed gorgeous lighting and truly brought our venue to life. The husband and I just got married earlier this month and we had the pleasure of hosting our celebration with DJ Wil as head entertainer of our event, and we could not be more thrilled with how the party turned out.

DJ Wil did an impeccable job not only as a DJ but also as an emcee, which we feel is is so, so, SO hard to find these days. All the props to him because we were some of the pickiest people you could probably run into these days.

First, we had some untraditional choices for our processional and recessional (i.e. Nujabes and Moguai, lol) and he had no issues with either of them, and had all of the songs ready when we came to our DJ meeting. He was also able to cut and mix whatever parts of songs we liked for other memorable moments like the cake cutting and speeches, and what we liked was he's also able to use his own judgement and expertise when suggesting the timing and vibe of certain songs as well.

Second of all, we threw some wedding trivia at him so he could release our tables to the buffet lines and he did a STELLAR job at not only quickly and efficiently running through the questions, but also engaging the audience by walking around the tables, and memorizing the questions and the answers. He didn't just stand at the DJ booth and read off of papers, he was participating with the crowd and it absolutely made the experience 100% better. His introduction of the bridal party, as well as special guests and visitors from other parts of the country was also great, and we feel as though his energy level was perfect.

Finally, our "do NOT play" list was probably filled with some of the most popular wedding songs you could think of - they are probably what you'd find in most people's wedding playlist and for DJ Wil to work around that and still keep our dance floor moving non-stop (we were up on our feet until the grand exit!) has got to say something. He did an absolutely amazing job at feeling the crowd and his song choices!

My husband and I used Soundwave Productions (specifically Chris Berry) for our wedding and were truly blown away by how amazing the entire experience was. Chris worked with us from the start to make sure each moment of music was perfect. I had always envisioned having a circular white dance floor and somehow he made it work. This was just the start of Soundwave Productions going above and beyond. The company uses an extremely useful communication platform so the DJ and clients can go over set lists together and special songs like first dance, etc. My husband and I had a blast looking through their library (if they don't have anything, like the Serbian dance music we played, they will get it for you) and picking the songs that would make our big day special. As our wedding drew near, we spoke with Chris on the phone to make sure he had everything he needed to play our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Ultimately, we received SO many compliments from our guests about the music. We had lots of elderly guests and people in their 20s, yet Chris figured out how to appease both. It was perfect! The quality of service was tremendous (especially for the price!) and I would highly recommend Chris and Soundwave Productions to literally anyone.

PS: My mother in law is losing her eyesight and requires certain lighting in order to see. Chris accommodated her disability while still maintaining a romantically lit atmosphere. We were so grateful!

Wow. Chris Berry was amazing. Our wedding wouldn't have been nearly as great without his djing skills. So many of our friends and family came up to us afterward to let us know how great he was. Soundwave Productions has been the best choice for our wedding from the beginning. We had the pleasure of meeting Michael at a wedding convention, and instantly knew he was perfect for our celebration. We were planning ridiculously early for our event (lead time of 15 months) and Soundwave was able to adapt to our needs at that time to set a planning discussion so we went down the right path.
Planning our event was effortless with Michaels help. Every time we met, it was much later in the day due to our work schedules and Michael always had a smile when he saw us. He was able to take our music interests and guide us to selections that would tie to our story for the day. Soundwave had a library of suggestions for each event on our timeline, so we were never stuck without inspiration.
On the big day, we never had to worry about things being ready or sticking to our schedule. Our guests were treated to some cocktail hour music that was built from some of recommendations. Quite a few guests commented on the play list and even asked for a copy... all Michael. He made sure to greet us when we arrived and gave us a chance to catch our breath before entering, and even touched based when he noticed the schedule needed adjustment and we could call an audible.
We knew Michael would be best partner for our day, we even included him in our wedding programs ("everyone say hi Michael!"). All of our guests stayed on the dance floor to a variety of music and were able to get their requests in. Nothing but high regards from all our guests for the evening and from us for the whole experience.

After many DJ’s my wife and I saw, we decided to go with Keith from SoundWave Productions. He was the best! He’s passionate about his job so he puts his all into it and does a wonderful job. We may have chosen the music but he pieced it together beautifully and transitioned to the next song masterfully. There was never a dull moment. He kept everyone on the dance floor. Even the old folks! ;) If/when any if my friends get married, I won’t let them hire anyone else but one if the many fine DJ’s at SoundWave Productions.

DJ Chris exceeded all of our expectations. He met with us beforehand to discuss the plans and paid so much attention to what was important to us. He made the best suggestions that we wouldn't have thought about, such as when to play certain songs/games during the night, in order to keep the crowd goin'! He took the time to make sure he even pronounced the entire wedding party names correctly. He's such a fun, personable guy and we truly couldn't have had a better DJ. The dance floor did not die down once...it was hoppin the entire night, to the point of everyone chanting "one more song!!!" (which he did play and chose Livin' on a Prayer. Incredible). He is able to lead the events at the reception and stays on top of timing and sequence of events so you don't have to worry about when everything is happening throughout the night. Having him left us at ease and left us having the best day of our lives! We will definitely be recommending him to any friends/family and will be using him in the future for any future events. BEST DJ we could have ever asked for! I was recommended to Chris by my cousin who had nothing but great things to say about him after her wedding a few years ago. Since I first contacted him back in 2015, he was always quick to respond and so friendly! Everything leading up to the wedding was great - love the online platform, super easy to use. The day of the wedding Chris was a bride's dream vendor. He followed the timeline I made to a T, honored all of our song requests, and was such a great host for the evening! So many of my guests complimented that he was the best DJ ever and had so much fun dancing all night!!!! We had a FULL dancefloor at the end of the night which you don't always see, so you know the music was amazing :) Can't wait to hire Chris for another event when I have the chance. Thank you!!!!!

I am so thankful I went with Soundwave Productions for my wedding. Keith Campbell was an AMAZING DJ and MC. He definitely made the night so much fun!

When I first met with Keith he was so outgoing and I knew right away he was perfect for my wedding. He was always willing to meet up and answer any of my questions. He helped me pick out songs, make a timeline for the event, and choose the uplighting.

Keith was amazing with keeping the party alive and having great music choices. He had everybody on the dance floor having the time of our lives. From the ceremony, to introduction, dancing, and sparkler exit I couldn't have asked for a better DJ.
I recommend Soundwave Productions (Keith Campbell) for there amazing services!

From the moment we met Chris, we knew that our search for the perfect DJ was over. We immediately liked him, as we bonded over our love of 90s music. He responded to emails quickly, was able to accommodate all of our special requests, (which included extracting audio from youtube of 90s TV show theme songs for our bridal party entrance) and worked seamlessly with our planner to ensure the day went by without a hitch, which it did! We got married more than a month ago, and we are still hearing how much our guests loved our DJ, with some even saying it was the best DJ they’ve ever heard at a wedding. Don’t hesitate to book Soundwave…I promise you won’t be disappointed. Chris… seriously, you’re the best!

DJ Wil is the BEST EVER TO DO THIS! I am very, VERY particular about my music.(90's, Reggae, Rock oldies, funk), He delivered. My wedding coordinator bailed on me last minute along with the Dj so my hunny found them on yelp a month before my wedding!!!. When I told Wil about it, he told me not to worry about a thing and that he would make me a timeline and also cue me for every event of the evening. That he did. It was a full-service coordinator! The lighting was AMAZING as well. EVERYONE commented on how awesome the Dj was and how helpful he was. The lights also looked amazing. Everyone said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. I can't thank Wil enough for being able to control the crowd through the music. I highly recommend this company. Professional, honest & reliable.

Soundwave Productions was a pleasure to work with since day 1! We met them at a bridal show our Venue held (Soundwaves was one of the preferred vendors), and we were impressed with them and chose to work with them. Everyone we've met have been nothing but professional, but also able to maintain a comfortable/fun atmosphere.

Soundwaves Productions creates a client profile on their website where they will do all future communication with you (you get e-mail notifications as well), where you can fill out detailed forms for reception + ceremony timelines, song selections, and any miscellaneous details. After that's all said and done, your MC/DJ will meet with you to go over every single little thing so that you are on the same page. Their level of communication, and commitment to their clients is among the highest I've seen from any company/group. The uplighting was also beautiful and HIGHLY recommended. It added so much to our already beautiful venue, and we can't imagine not having it (I'm sure it's venue dependent, but it was AMAZING)

I HIGHLY recommend DJ Wil for your MC/DJ needs, as well as Soundwaves Productions as a company. Wedding planning (among other events) can be extremely stressful, and if you want to work with someone who not only doesn't add stress, but helps to REDUCE it, DJ Wil is your man. He was professional and easy to communicate with every step of the way, and did everything he could to ensure the days leading up to, and the day of our wedding, was as smooth as possible.

We decided to go with them based on reviews. When we met up with them, we were introduced to DJ Wil. We talked about what we wanted and what was important to us. He gave us a sample of what he is able to do and we're immediately blown away. The very next day we booked him. He was in constant contact with us in the months leading up to our wedding. A week before we met up for the final time and he went over everything with us. He gave very good suggestions based on his experiences, which turned out to be great advice. On the wedding day he was amazing. There was never a dull moment and he was lively and entergetic. More than half of our guests commented on what a great job he did. We definitely will be using him again for future events.

We lucked out in finding Soundwave Productions at the OC fairgrounds wedding fair (which I wasn't even planning to attend). They were the only DJ who actually had music playing, friendly people working their booth, and I couldn't stop bouncing my shoulders to the sweet jams that Keith was playing in the background. Long story short, we booked Keith, who was the MC of our dreams!! He made the planning process so easy, the night of so memorable, he met up with the groomsmen before hand to make sure he was doing his part to get to know our peeps, and truly did his best to ensure our dance floor was never empty! Their website was very user friendly, easy to navigate, and half of the music we requested for our special dances/etc., he was able to find and play with no questions asked. We received a recommendation for DJ Chris from our planner after many weeks of being frustrated by annoying DJ companies that would not leave us alone or overpriced DJs. Once we met him, we were blown away by his easygoing nature, his likability, and his commitment to our vision, so we naturally chose him as our DJ. In the planning process, Chris was not overbearing, was so easy to get a hold of by email/Skype (long distance planning), and the online portal was a very easy tool for us to use in adding songs.

DJ Chris made our wedding night one to remember! Our music and dance loving families could not stop raving about how great our DJ was: "He kept the party going all night!" -"I never stopped dancing, which is usually not me" - "Your DJ was sooooo much fun and spot on with music!" - "I loved everything he played!"
This is a huge compliment to Chris's ability to navigate our extensive playlist and make it a dance party that truly was able to delight all ages and generations.

Not only are you hiring Chris for his DJ services, you are also getting an all around entertainment professional. He did a fabulous job with our uplighting. He was a personable and very respectful MC (making sure he pronounced all names right). He was flexible and worked with our planner to make sure things ran smoothly when we were a little behind schedule.

We highly recommend Chris & Soundwave Productions across the board for a fun, professional experience - he stood apart from all the other DJ companies and was a great value for all the service provided. We couldn't imagine the night without him!

I had the pleasure of booking Soundwave and having Michael as my DJ. I do not regret it one bit!! I met Michael and Chris at a bridal show and I knew I wanted to book with them from the beginning. Michael was so easy to work with and accommodated all our requests. Their website where you can request songs, make payments, and even hear some sample clips from their library was self explanatory and easy to navigate.

Michael took the time to get to know my fiancé and I by our taste in music during our meetings. He also worked well with all my vendors, including my coordinator and was not opposed to last minute changes.

On the day of my wedding, Michael flawlessly took care of my ceremony, cocktail hour, and my reception. My guest were very impressed with his eclectic playlist and it got everyone on the dance floor.

I would definitely recommend Soundwave to everyone! Thank you again, especially Michael, for helping make my wedding unforgettable for my guest, husband, and myself.

Hiring SoundWave to DJ and MC our wedding was by far one of the best choices we made for our big day!!

DJ Wil did an INCREDIBLE job.

Besides the MC/DJ services, we also hired SoundWave to create a custom monogram that they projected on to the wall as well as yellow-colored uplighting at the reception. I almost cried during our first dance because I was so overwhelmed with how beautiful the ballroom looked, and the GOBO monogram and yellow lighting really played a huge part in tying all of our wedding decor together.

When you hire SoundWave, you pay for more than just the DJ services - you get a professional who's worked at countless events and knows how to manage a crowd. I particularly appreciated Wil's professionalism and the fact that he really catered to our needs throughout the night.

Our friends and family won't stop raving about how fun our wedding was, and honestly, we owe it in large part to SoundWave and DJ Wil!!

Wow, where do I begin?! DJ Wil was absolutely amazing for our wedding. He was engaging, fun, so full of high energy throughout the night, and just set the tone for our wedding to the way we imagined it to be. Not only is his DJ skills evident, he is so talented in keeping your guests entertained from cocktail hour all the way thru the end of the night.

Pre-Wedding:
Throughout the planning phase before the wedding, Will always emphasized the fact that he was there to serve us and provide us with anything we needed. Whether it was respecting family traditions, or wanting specific song choices, or even selecting the colors of your uplights, Wil always made a concerted effort to please us. He is so experienced, detail oriented, and very very talented; if you have any doubts about whether he can mix, just have him show you a quick demo of his DJing skills during your first consultation, he'll ease those concerns right there and then ;)

Wedding Night:
From start to finish, Will was awesome in his role as DJ/MC. I was concerned about having only one person doing the job since I was accustomed to seeing couples hire a separate MC and DJ, but Will was definitely comfortable in both roles. The entire night was seamless and everything went according to the plan just as we imagined. We also contracted Soundwave for uplighting and Will was able to create such a beautiful atmosphere for the room.

In all, Will was the first and only DJ we met with and we did not regret booking him for our wedding; you will not regret it either! You really can't go wrong with Soundwave, they're the best in the business!

DJ Michael was so awesome to work with for our wedding. He listened to what we liked and what we didn't and executed perfectly at our wedding! He played exactly the right music and got everyone on the dance floor. We all had a great time and he definitely helped to make the wedding memorable for everyone! Pricing was also right on budget compared to other vendors. They also made the trek down to Temecula for us!
