Everything we were looking for

Fred and Kathy are true professionals. They worked with us ahead of time, provided direction (before and during our wedding day) while allowing our priorities to come first, and inspired confidence that everything was going to work out. We worried about basically nothing on our wedding day due in part to their preparation and clear communication. They were great emcees and kept the reception moving, which was something we hadn’t initially considered but ended up being important.

Everyone had a great time. Fred and Kathy had the magic touch of making sure all ages and musical interests were satisfied, while also playing the songs that we wanted to hear.

We could not recommend them more!

Incredible Experience

What an incredible experience from start to finish. Consistent contact, very personable, and overall great music and energy! The day ran very smoothly with Fred. He ensured we were ready for the big moments, and took care of the small details as well. Our friends and family stayed until the very end with the amazing music, lights, energy, and fun we had with Fred. Photo booth was a big hit with family and friends. Amazing and upbeat!

I can not say enough good things about Soundwave! Fred and Kathy are amazing!! Fred kept us on track, kept my other vendors kn check so everyone was on the same page! Kathy worked the photobooth and was interacting with our guests. I could not have asked (or hoped) for anything better. DJ provided up lighting and all the fun props for the photobooth. I also like that Fred is laid back and down to earth person, makes planning process alot easier!! Thank you guys so much for making our day fantastic!!!!

Get the party started!

From start to finish, working with Fred and Kyler was very easy. Fred worked to coordinate the event and Kyler and Kathy worked as our DJ and photo booth princess! They engaged the crowd, got people on the dance floor and in the photo booth and helped to make the night special! We also had the perfect uplighting which added such a beautiful touch. We would definitely recommend Soundwave as your go to DJ, photo booth and up lighting company!

Top Tier Service and A Great Time All-Around

Throughout the wedding and even after, one of the things I kept hearing from my guests was "The DJ is so nice! So helpful!" "The woman at the photobooth is so friendly and funny!". Which was great, because it just verified what my now-husband and I knew - that we'd made the right choice in going with Soundwave.

We're new to the area so beyond being super flexible and collaborative in our music needs (across 3 different locations in a museum), and providing numerous uplighting options, they connected us with other vendors (like a dance floor rental we needed last minute). And offered helpful suggestions regarding ways to make our special day run smoothly and be very much unique to our personalities.

Also super glad we went with the open photobooth option as it was awesome and our guests had cool, cherished takeaways from the event (with ample wigs and props to make it wonderfully ridiculous). Honestly, it was just an easy partnership with genuinely nice, passionate people, who played an integral part in giving my husband and I stress-free, fun-filled day.

Picture Perfect!

Fred was awesome! He played everything perfectly & even managed my kids odd requests! He timed things well, was SO personable as a DJ & announcing. He really played to the crowd & for people dancing! Amazing DJ!

Mr. Fred Behney was the DJ at a wedding I attended for some close friends. He was excellent! The music was fantastic and he provided a very lively atmosphere. The One That Almost Got Away

Hiring Soundwave DJs proved to be one of the best decisions we made during our wedding process and well worth the investment. When we first planned our wedding budget we didn’t give much emphasis to the DJ and even considered just having someone babysit a premade playlist. A friend convinced us to look into a few professional DJs and we came across Fred, owner of Soundwave DJs. Fred was very easy to talk to and helped explain the various responsibilities of the DJ, including the importance of communicating with all vendors throughout our wedding day so everyone was in sync. Imagine announcing the first dance just when the photographer has to change batteries, this is why communication is key and Fred did a wonderful job staying on top of things.

There were a lot more aspects to being a DJ/MC than we ever thought possible, and Fred excelled at each one. Since we live 6hrs (by plane) away from our wedding location, we had several long conversations with Fred over the phone which gave us a lot to think about. Then during a visit to Pennsylvania several months prior to our wedding we met with Fred at the Manor. During this visit we discussed all our preferences with Fred while he continued to provide his expert opinion where needed, he demonstrated how he’d use his software to loop some of the music we wanted for the ceremony, how and when the music will fade in/out, we practiced various entrances to determine how long the music should be, he demonstrated uplighting for us, and at the end of it all we had a great time simply chatting with him as a friend and enjoying some time with his dog.

Fred demonstrated a great level of commitment to our wedding, even attending our rehearsal the day prior. This was a life saver as he is a natural leader and helped collect everyone to get the rehearsal started. As we practiced many of us realized that we weren’t sure how certain aspects should be done, in particular the ceremony entrances/exits and the reception entrances, but Fred was able to provide suggestions and direct us. On our wedding day Fred showed up with his crew and did an outstanding job. If he saw the need to make small adjustments he’d quickly run them by us and we agreed with each of his suggestions. He orchestrated the day perfectly and we couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. We hope to have an opportunity to work with Fred again.

Wonderful, helpful and flexible!

They were absolutely great to work with! We were planning our wedding long distance Fred was so helpful in determining the best services for our timeframes and venue. We were not planning on having a photobooth at our wedding, but after hearing about the photobooth setup they provide, we were convinced and it was a great addition to our wedding. We absolutely loved having Kyler as our DJ/MC for the wedding. He was super flexible and helpful in planning, working through different timezones and using Facetime since we couldn't meet in person. He was also great day-of and helped through some last minute changes to make everything run smoothly and kept the night so fun. I am so grateful we found Soundwave for our wedding and would highly recommend them!

Great job! Very professional and fun!

Working with Fred, and with Kyler - who was the DJ and MC for our wedding reception - was a really an excellent experience in all senses of the word. They were professional, and we got so many compliments about the music at our reception. They are very respectful about choices the bride and groom make regarding music and events during the reception, and really helped to make our reception both classy and fun. The very well-done uplighting also added a lot to the look of our venue - lots of compliments. Great job! Go with these guys!

Fantastic DJ

I chose to go with Soundwave DJ's based on a personal reference and I was not disappointed. I had high expectations as their reviews were fantastic, but they exceeded every single one. Kyler was my DJ who was extremely friendly and great communicator. He told me what he needed from me, and made my job very easy. Additionally, we hired Denise to act as a day-of-coordinator. She helped decorate, and was getting stuff done the entire day. Honestly, she was worth her weight in gold. At one point during a photo session she appeared out of nowhere with cold water which was a god send on such a hot day. We also made use of their state-of-the-art photo booth which was fantastic. Now we have tons of awesome pictures from the wedding which the guests also got a copy of. The up-lighting is great as well, and I highly recommend it to help set the mood. The owner, Fred, although not DJing our event was very hands on throughout the process. You can tell he puts a lot of pride and effort into maintaining the quality of his business, and it shows. Overall it was a wonderful day and Soundwave did a great job. One final point. What good is a DJ if no one dances? We didn't have that issue. People were dancing all night from the kids to the elderly. Kyler knew how to read the crowd and kept everyone moving all night.

AMAZING Experience!!

Fred and his team were absolutely amazing on our wedding day in September 2018. Fred was very communicative, played the songs we wanted, and extremely profeasional. Would Hire Again!! Truly Outstanding Service!!

We could not have been happier to have worked with such an amazing vendor!! Soundwave DJs is WAY more than just your ordinary DJ- we used their high tech photo booth (which everyone LOVED). Props were provided and Soundwave even provides an additional staff member to help guests in using the booth! Soundwave provides beautiful up-lighting that really creates a wonderful ambiance! Our venue was glowing in a soft purple and it was truly breathtaking. Fred coordinates as a team player with the other hired vendors as well! This type of coordination really made for such a smooth event- everything was seamless! Additionally, Fred makes it known that he will tailor his gig to be what the Bride and Groom really want- feels very personal. We would 100% choose Soundwave DJ again and again for our wedding!

Flawless Event

Fred was very professional and overall great to work with. Our wedding was on 10.20.18 and literally was flawless. Our guests danced all night and had a great time. Fred did a wonderful job helping the coordination of everything from ceremony, to cocktail hour to reception. We also used the other services SoundWaves had to offer- the photo booth and Day of Event coordinator. Our guests had a blast leaving 30 sec videos at the photo booth along with their pictures. The Event Coordinator was so helpful and valuable for that day since did not have a wedding planner. So affordable, too! Highly highly recommend SoundWaves :)

As the Father of The Bride, I was impressed by Soundwaves professionalism, recommendations, and agility to customize everyone’s wishes for a fabulous wedding reception. The up lighting was spectacular: we’ve been to reception site countless times and never have seen it look better. The photo booth was a blast - everyone enjoyed it. We received several guest compliments on the sound “volume”: it was loud enough to facilitate a great party atmosphere, but not too loud for conversation continuity at the tables. I highly recommend Soundwaves.

They really know their stuff! I was blown away with their skill and knowledge, which was of great value to me because I was having my wedding at a venue that was about 2hrs away. They contacted the venues and everything, I felt like I barely had to lift a finger. They are very personable as well, my guests loved their staff. I can't recommend them enough!

Soundwave DJ's, Fred Behney, is absolutely the best! When I was shopping and comparing DJ's for my daughter's wedding reception, my husband and I immediately knew the search was over when we met Fred. He is experienced and his professionalism, organization and attention to detail were evident the day we met Fred, continued through the planning process, and were evident in the fantastic job he did at the wedding!!!! Everyone was having such a great time dancing so we extended the party, having Fred DJ beyond the originally planned ending time. We also received many compliments from our guests, relaying the volume of the music was just right (not too loud so that they can still talk) and the variety of music pleased all generations! We also picked the package to include uplighting, making the room absolutely beautiful!! The open photo booth, including 30 second video messaging, was a huge hit with all the guests--SO MUCH FUN!!---and included hard and digital copies of the photos/messages which are great keepsakes for my daughter and son-in-law! I highly recommend Fred and Soundwave DJ's!!

My daughter's wedding was simply amazing due to Soundwave Dj"s And Erin Leigh Photography. First of all Fred was an amazing DJ. He was so professional and friendly. He spent a great deal of time getting to know my daughter and son in law and what they wanted for their wedding. He made wonderful suggestions and answered all of their questions. The music was wonderful during the ceremony and reception. He helped to keep us on our timetable throughout the night. He blue accent lights were wonderful. They transformed an already lovely venue into a dream come true. Now the photo both was just wonderful!!! Everyone had such a great time with that photo booth and the props. Our guests got to keep one copy of the photos they took and Brooklyn and Brendan got to keep the other copy of the pictures. It was a wonderful way to make an interactive guest book! Erin Leigh our photographer who is associated with Soundwave DJ's is amazing! I really have never seen such focus on detail! She knew that the pictures were a major priority for Brooklyn and went beyond the call of duty to capture the best pictures...from the outstanding engagement pictures at Gettysburg Battlefield to tasteful boudoir pictures to mesmerizing wedding photos. Soundwave DJ's took are of it all! I can't wait for my next daughter to get married so that we can do this again. They really made our special day hassle free.

We called Soundwave DJs because it was on our vendor recommended list. From the first phone call, we realized Fred would be our DJ and he would do an amazing job. He has years of experience and it definitely shows. He is professional and thorough. He worked with us to ensure we had everything we wanted to include and nothing we didn’t. Our entire experience was customized to our preferences. We had a few small things during the reception that were a surprise (like the groom’s cake) and Fred made sure the timing and coordination flowed smoothly. Fred was pleasant and knowledgeable to work with. He was able to obtain every obscure song we wanted to play and organized speakers during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Fred and his team was a great value; we highly recommend his services of DJ, uplighting, photo booth, and also day-of-wedding coordinator. His entire team eased my anxiety and were so helpful. They were willing to do any small or large task I asked and made my big day highly enjoyable and stress-free!

Soundwave is absolutely incredible! Fred & his team are so professional and accommodating, and made sure every detail was perfect. The music was perfect and our guests are still saying how much fun they had dancing. The lighting was simply beautiful and added to the ambiance of the evening. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to add fun to their wedding to get their amazing Photo Booth ... Everyone loved it and we have watched the videos and slideshows almost every night since we got home. Denise was our Booth attendant and she was so pleasant and helpful to our guests. Erin was our Photographer and did such a great job capturing all the special moments and created an album which we can't put down. We especially loved that the Soundwave team was so familiar with the Hotel and understand why they are so highly recommended by every venue we visited.

Fred was absolutely wonderful to work with. We added uplighting and the photo booth as part of our package--the purple uplighting looked amazing in my photos and all of our guests loved the photo booth, which also allowed for guests to record videos for us, offering their congratulations. Fred gave us a flash drive with all of the photos and videos on it so that is something we will always be able to look back on and smile about! I would highly recommend Soundwave DJ's to anyone looking for an excellent DJ for their wedding.

If you are looking for a DJ, look no further! Fred and his staff are truly the best in the business. Fred's business is held at his house, so if you're local you'll have a few meetings there. My husband and I really liked that because it felt more personal and relaxed. Not only did Fred provide music that kept our guests dancing all night, he also ensured all of the events at the reception ran smoothly; this allowed me and husband to enjoy the night without worry! I also want to recommend Fred's uplighting. It is BREATHTAKING! We didn't want uplighting originally, but when Fred showed up how it can transform the space we were sold. He even drove to our venue (which was over an hour for him) to show us the uplighting in the actual space. Go with Soundwave DJ's - you won't be disappointed!

Fred was amazing from the start. We had been looking for the right DJ when we found Soundwave DJs. We had submitted for some information from a couple DJs and were not getting responses back (some to this day haven't responded). Fred responded to our request the same day and we quickly set up a meeting. He was exactly what we were looking for. He showed us the photo booth, examples of lighting, and how he would facilitate the big day. He kept in communication with us throughout the entire time. Always keeping us on track, working with us on changes and updates, and met with us to do a final run through with our timeline. We felt like our day was just important to us and it was him. He made us feel like family. When it came to our wedding day it was perfect. I can't say anything different. He touched base with us throughout the night, kept things moving, and was very flexible with requests. We would definitely recommend Fred and Soundwave DJs to anyone looking for an amazing experience.

Fred from Soundwave DJ’s is the best in the business! I was blown away by the service we were provided by Fred and his team. He really knew how to read a crowd and the songs he played were on point which had our guests laughing and dancing throughout the night. The photo booth his company provided was all the rage amongst our guests and provided us with great memories to cherish! Not to mention that fact that he was so well organized and really helped in making our day go as smoothly as possible. If I could give Soundwave DJs and Fred 10 stars I would! Fred made everything so stress free for me! Everyone complimented on how well run our wedding went and how fun it was. SOUNDWAVE DJ's did an amazing job at our wedding at the Hotel Hershey. The blue lighting was perfect in the Garden Terrace, which Fred had suggested, and all of the pictures turned out amazing due to the gorgeous lighting. The music was perfect, we didn't know exactly what we wanted so we left it up to Fred to just "get people dancing" and he delivered and went above and beyond. He is very relaxed and works with you even when you ask for last minute requests or changes. The photobooth was awesome especially since there was plenty of room for numerous amounts of people to get into the picture! We were so impressed and blesses that we found Fred and Soundwave DJ's. Soundwave DJs did our wedding last October, and they were absolutely terrific. We live half way across the country from where our wedding took place and where Soundwave DJs are based, so we anticipated some challenges in organizing everything, but Fred was helpful, organized, and responsive at all times. Because we couldn't meet up in person to discuss the event, Fred was happy to Skype with us. We could not have asked for a more well-run operation leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, Jim was our DJ, and he was terrific as a DJ, but also as an MC, moving the night along nicely and making sure everything was perfect. Both Jim and Fred were super quick to respond to emails and calls, and were diligent in making sure that everything would be as we wanted it. On the night of the event, Jim handled any and all hiccups with poise and kept things moving. We also used Soundwave DJs to provide uplighting for our event, which was spectacular and made the room come alive (at a price much cheaper than what the venue would have provided). Last, Soundwave provided us with a photobooth, which was a lot of fun, worked flawlessly, and created some great memories from the day--not only did the booth take great pictures (which were a big hit with the guests), but it also allowed for guests to leave video messages (at a wedding of about 140 guests, we got over 50 video messages!).

Many thanks to both Jim and Fred for everything they've done; we would highly recommend them to anyone.

Fred Behney with Soundwave DJs is truly exceptional. He is so much more than a DJ. He does amazing lighting, he has an incredible photo booth, he helps coordinate the entire cocktail hour and reception and makes sure the couple, the bridal party and the parents/grandparents all know what's going on throughout the entire night. He thinks through everything he does very carefully and with the purpose of making sure it is the best wedding possible. Not only that, he is an awesome person and so easy to get along with. He will spend as much time as you want meeting and going over details for the wedding. The uplighting he did for our reception was incredible. It created such a beautiful ambience that could not have been done without it. The Photo Booth was so much fun! Guests had a blast and loved that they had Magnet strips to put their photos in. We can't wait to see all of the video messages from our family and friends that the Photo Booth recorded for us. Fred and Soundwave DJs is the way to go for wedding DJs, uplighting and photo booths!

Fred and his team were phenomenal to work with. One of the best parts about working with Fred was his willingness to meet with us prior to the big day. It was nice to meet face-to-face and show him around the venue so that we could ensure a smooth process for him and his staff on the day of the wedding. Additionally, Fred was extremely accommodating and made sure to keep up with every detail (even when I wasn't always on top of things). Fred was also very easy to keep in touch with helped us make decisions about what we wanted at our reception. He was a fantastic entertainer and provided exactly what we wanted for our guests.

The lighting provided by Fred was perfect for our reception site. The venue was a historical site and the room was very classy, so I was a little worried that lighting may not be appropriate. It turned out beautifully and the lights accented the walls perfectly, without being "too much".

The Photo Booth was a HUGE hit with everyone at the wedding. We are still hearing (over 3 months later) the stories of the fun they had taking pictures and leaving messages for my husband and I. I am so glad we chose to add the photo booth as entertainment for our guests, it was the perfect addition to a perfect wedding!

Jim was our DJ/MC. He was very responsive, and he traveled from Harrisburg to Pittsburgh for our event. He also had to deal with a major road closure, and the event moving indoors. Fred was a phenomenal DJ at our wedding. He provided music, up-lighting, and a Photo Booth. Fred was able to get our guests up and dancing on the dance floor with various types of music to reach all ages of our guests. We decided to get purple up-lighting in our event space and it was absolutely gorgeous. It added to the overall elegance of our space. Finally, Fred has created his own photo booth that all of our family and friends LOVED. They were able to take pictures that we could put in a scrapbook, and then one for them to keep. The photo booth also recorded an audio video message that Logan and I were able to get on a flash drive so we could relive the day! We were thrilled with Fred as our DJ, and we would highly recommend him for any event.

During the entire process Chris was accommodating and helped us achieve exactly what we wanted for our wedding music. He set it up perfectly! Soundwave DJ’s offers a number of different services and packages—we hired Fred to assist with the wedding audio and music, to play music during our cocktail reception and to emcee/DJ for our reception. Fred is very professional and organized—he kept everything moving smoothly with the officiant, photographer and wedding coordinator at the venue. Kyler was our DJ from Soundwave. He was professional and knew how to move the reception along. He played the songs I wanted at the right times and knew how to feel out the crowd. I am the first to admit that I was a bridezilla and expected nothing but perfection! I told Fred my image and he delivered AND surpassed any expectation I had. When I walked into our reception, the first thing I noticed were the amazing blue up-lighting that Fred and his assistant sat up around our entire ballroom. This was my dream winter wonderland wedding!!!! My family lives for family weddings. I will just tell you, from the first song, to the last song, NO ONE left the dance floor. My grandma, my aunts, my parents, my 3 year old niece and nephew and my crazy 20 year old cousins danced throughout the entire night. We all had a sing along for Grease songs that I requested. When my cousin requested a slightly inappropriate song, Fred asked me for my approval before it was played--what a fantastic over-the-top favor to make sure that the bride was okay with this song! My wedding was over a week ago and I am STILL having family and friends say "Your DJ was awesome!" and "Your reception was beautiful!" Those lights....incredible. The whole theme of my wedding was complete thanks to Fred. There was a blue up-lighting placed behind my cake table. It is one of my most favorite pictures from the wedding. Phenomenal, beautiful, amazing....I'm running out of words. And of course, Fred's work speaks for itself--but he is also a complete professional. His vast experience in the industry was so helpful in the planning of all aspects of our wedding. He customized the flow of the evening to our wishes and made sure everything was just as we planned. With our extremely busy lifestyles much of the planning had to be done via phone & email and Fred was incredibly flexible and very detail oriented to make sure everything would be perfect. He even drove 200 miles to meet with us to design the layout for the ceremony and the gorgeous up lighting which our guests are still raving about. We decided to include the Photo Booth and definitely are thrilled we did .. Our guests simply loved it, and Fred's specially designed Booth does so much more than the other booths we had previously seen. We spoke with a few different DJ companies before speaking with, and eventually meeting, Fred. I was blown away by how professional and charismatic he was from the very beginning. After our first phone call with Fred, I was fairly certain I wanted to proceed, but after meeting with him I could tell he was truly passionate about making our wedding a fantastic experience. He spent a great deal of time with us planning what we wanted for our music selections, photo booth, and up lighting. I appreciated his prompt responses to all my emails and his patience with my husband and me as we made decisions. I am extremely glad we ended up renting the photo booth and up lighting, as both were a wonderful addition to the wedding! Our guests raved about how fun it was to take pictures and leave us video messages. Denise, the photo booth attendant, was wonderful! She was so helpful and always had a smile on her face! Fred had the dance floor packed all night and our guests raved about how wonderful both he and Denise were. I was told by numerous guests that our DJ really knew what he was doing. My husband’s grandmother was so impressed that he knew her and her husband’s names. I appreciated Fred’s attention to detail in making sure he had a comprehensive list of the bridal party and family members. I sincerely believe that our wedding wouldn't have run so smoothly without all of Fred’s help, he not only acted as our DJ but the MC for our entire event (including the ceremony). Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and I have to give credit to Soundwave DJs for helping us to achieve this! Fred helped to keep the planning and organization stress free! He was always responsive to my e-mails and phone calls also provided helpful suggestions and advice.

Our DJ/MC, Kyler, was AMAZING!!! Professional, personable, fun, and did a fantastic job with our wedding. He kept the dance floor packed - played every song on my list and that our guests requested. I had so many comments from our guests about how great he was and the timing and quality of music that was played. I would strongly recommend Kyler to DJ your special event! I know I will be recommending him to all of my family and friends getting married!!!

Skeptical at first about whether to get the photo booth, I listened to Fred's advice and decided to go with it... that advice was well worth it!!! Denise, our Photo Booth Assistant, was so much fun! Our guests raved about her and the Amazing Photo Booth! She was outgoing, helpful, always smiling, and made sure every guest was given a photo and the option to put in their e-mail address to get a copy electronically sent. She walked every guest through the process of taking their photo and leaving a video message for my husband and I, the process was effortless! We, and our guests, had SO MUCH fun using the props and taking home memories in the photo frame magnets Soundwave provided. The pictures say it all... it was totally worth it and guests are still talking about what a great & fun idea it was.

Overall, I would give Soundwave DJ's a 10 if I could!!! We feel Kyler and Denise did an incredible job and are so happy to have found them because they helped make our wedding day PERFECT!!!

Soundwave DJs were amazing to work with for our wedding in July. From the moment we spoke on the phone, we knew Fred was the guy for us. Along with the DJing service, we ended up also getting the photo booth and lighting. Everything turned out beautifully and it was more than we can ever image! Our guests kept commenting about how beautiful the venue looked with the lighting and enjoyed the photo booth very much (both young and old). Fred and is amazing person who is easy to communicate and contact with, works with you to make your wedding perfect, and would for sure get your party hopping. Very professional and excellent service! Fred, the owner of Soundwaves DJs, was so responsive to emails and promptly contacted me when I expressed interest in their company, which was much appreciated coming from an anxious bride-to-be. All throughout the process Fred went out of his way to answer all of my questions and even met with me at my venue to choose up-lighting color. Jay was my DJ at the wedding and he also was very responsive to emails when organizing the wedding day schedule and song lists. He did an amazing job and played exactly what we wanted to hear and my guests had a great time! Denise was our Photobooth attendant, and we were so happy to have her organize and operate the photobooth for our guests so that all they had to do was choose props and have fun! We had Soundwave DJs for our wedding at Moonstone Manor and could not be happier with their service!!!!!! We had Fred as our DJ and Denise behind the photobooth. From customer service to simply a person we could not have asked for a better DJ and photobooth for our wedding!!!!! I did a lot of research and asking around about DJs and once we met with Fred we knew that he was the one that we wanted for our wedding!!! I can say with confidence that my wife and I made the right decision without a doubt! Him and Denise were so easy to get along with and were also very flexible with meeting times and what we wanted at our wedding! Our wedding went so smoothly due to Fred's experience that we seriously could not think of any errors or flaws of our day! My wife and I sat in the room after the wedding and even the flight on our honeymoon and looked at each other and said,"this seriously was the BEST day of our lives and NOTHING went wrong!" Fred was so organized that everything at the wedding just went right into each other without and issues. He made sure that everyone was on the same page and that my wife had enough time to out any makeup touches on if needed. All these fine little details that you never really think of as a bride and groom, Fred does and he masters it! Also Fred had everyone dancing all night long and that is exactly what my wife and I were wanting!! As for Denise behind the photbooth, she was simply amazing as well!!! EVERYONE had so much fun and loved that we had a photobooth (HIGHLY RECOMMEND photobooth). Denise provided a ton of props and helped our guests email the pictures to their emails and even leave us videos on the booth that we got on a flash drive when we returned home from our honeymoon! These two made our wedding day the best day of our lives without any issues what so ever!!! We highly recommend using Fred, Denise, and Soundwave DJs for your music and entertainment!! There is a reason that Fred is the number 1, preferred DJ at The Hotel Hershey. He did an amazing job. Fred was very professional and provided a high level of service. Fred and his crew did an amazing job at our wedding! Fred was so accommodating with our "situation," I was an out of town bride and he made the process seamless and easy which was super important to me. Denise did a great job with the photobooth, we incorporated our guest book with the doubles that the couple receives and she made sure that everyone understood what to do and the book it a great memoir! We also did some uplighting to cut down on decorations needed and it look beautiful, definitely no extra decorations needed!! My advice if go for it all with Soundwave DJ, extremely fair pricing when comparing to others and no sacrifice in professionalism and service. Thank you guys!!

I knew getting a good DJ was important to make sure our guests had a good time at our wedding and reception. I originally found Soundwave DJs on weddingwire and loved the reviews they got. I contacted them and spoke to Fred Behney, who ended up being our DJ. He was great to talk to, so knowledgeable, and flexible! He handled our ceremony music and reception wonderfully, and worked with the venue so I didn't have to think about anything but having a good time. He kept everyone up and dancing all night! Originally we just had DJ services, but later ended up going with up lighting and the photo booth on Fred's recommendation. So glad we did! Booth was packed all night, and the lighting gave a great accent to a beautiful venue. You get what you pay for, this is true, and they were worth every penny but didn't break the bank!

I cannot fully express how amazing my wedding experience was thanks to Soundwave DJs. Kyler was the DJ/MC for the night. He was attentive, friendly, and very conscientious to the timing of events (toasts, cake-cutting, etc). The music perfectly matched the energy of the guests, which kept the dance floor full for the entire reception. I was very impressed with my experience and received countless compliments on the DJ selection. If I need a DJ/MC service in the future, I will only hire Soundwave DJs because the quality of the service is exceptional and beyond anything I had expected.

We approached Soundwave DJs after a friend of ours' wedding. We noticed that the DJ there was extremely professional, played excellent music, and clearly went the extra mile to ensure things went smoothly and well. They had the lead-DJ, Fred, who we contacted almost immediately after the wedding.

We started the process about 4 months before our wedding was going to take place, and each step was a positive, productive, and uplifting one. We met with Fred and also with Jim, the DJ that was available for our date. Jim was clearly a professional as well, immediately writing down every single detail he needed for our wedding. He offered great suggestions on procedures, the order of things, song choices, locations within the venue... everything! He listened to our concerns, had a "do not play" list, and also followed up with us constantly to ensure accuracy. Jim also made on-the-fly adjustments, such as changing our first song at the last minute. He went to such a level of detail as to also write down how to sound out our bridal party's names (some of them had interesting, unusual names). He also made sure to play good, fun music that was still appropriate for a wedding. On top of ALL of this excellence, Jim showed a great sense of humor and improvisation with commentary.
During and after our wedding, we were FLOODED with compliments on both the event itself (which went perfectly) and the DJ (who certainly contributed to that). Both myself and my bride would recommend Jim, Fred, and Soundwave DJs as a whole to anyone looking for a DJ and MC for a wedding or any other event. We loved working with Jim and are incredibly happy to have had Soundwave DJs at our wedding.

The photo booth was awesome!! Everyone had a blast taking pictures, highly, highly recommend the booth! Jay was our DJ and he was professional and played great music the whole night! He even played the Harlem Shake for us last minute (: We also had the uplighting done by Soundwave and it looked incredible! I was really happy with all of the time and effort they put into meeting with me multiple times and answering all of my questions.

Fred and Jim were a pleasure to work with. Jim, our DJ, made sure we were happy with the music at our wedding ceremony and reception. He gave us the freedom to pick our songs and made sure he had every single request. He made suggestions when we needed help picking songs as well. He set up all of the lighting at our event and was quick, efficient and completely flawless throughout the whole evening. The entire event went smoothly and he transitioned perfectly from the ceremony right into the reception. He did the work of 5 people all by himself and with ease. We couldn't have asked for anyone better! He was perfect. Fred followed up with us throughout the wedding planning and made sure he had our schedule organized by the minute which made us feel extremely stress free.

Our DJ was excellent and made our event run smoothly. Soundwave DJ is definitely 5 star quality - I would recommend this vendor. The owner is extremely busy and during our first meeting answered many phone calls and another client just stopped in while we were organizing things, so be prepared for interruptions during meetings as they may occur:) otherwise, I had zero complaints.

Fred was a great DJ for our wedding. Once the event started, he kept things moving and we didn't have to worry about anything at the wedding and reception. We had an outdoor wedding which he was easily able to accommodate with his equipment and quickly transitioned to the indoor reception. His service was so good, my sister in law used in him at her wedding just recently.

James Pittaro provided DJ services for our daughter's wedding. He is one of the DJs who works with Fred Behney. He has the most amazing voice and was 100% professional. The music he played appealed to all ages. He played music for the ceremony and timed everything perfectly. I can't say enough about Jim. He absolutely gets a 10/10 for being awesome.

Fred worked my wedding in March and he did a fantastic job! I couldn't have wished for anything better. His team was extremely well organised and friendly. The lighting, which I left pretty much completely up to him, was spot on. The photo booth was wonderful, as was his lovely assistant. Really made my wedding memorable. I highly recommend SOUNDWAVE DJs!
