Fabulous!!
She went above and beyond! First, she came to the rehearsal that was at 8:30 pm, disorganized and chaotic, and she didn't complain at all. She and her husband TJ set everything up and were calm and supportive. Plans changed at the rehearsal (order of wedding party, etc.) so she couldn't follow the music plan we laid out -- but she improvised beautifully and made it better. Then on the day of the wedding, things changed again! The officiant forgot a part of the service where she was supposed to play music, and then he added something in somewhere else that wasn't planned and expected music. That would have thrown most people off, but Laura didn't miss a beat. She improvised again, and it sounded like it was all planned that way. Laura has a huge playlist, but my advice is to take her advice on music and let her structure it for you. She really knows how to make it work; it's obvious she's done a lot of weddings! She even matches her outfits to the wedding party. We were so happy that we had her in the picture of the wedding party afterwards! -

Fall Wedding Made Magical
Laura did my wedding at the Marty Leonard Chapel. She was very responsive and even open to trying out new music sheets which was amazing! She helped the rehearsal feel like a walk in the park, which made the wedding day feel like second hand nature. Loved her music. Definitely recommend her for your wedding day! -

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect pianist for our wedding ceremony. From the very first note, the music set the most beautiful and emotional tone for the day. Every song flowed seamlessly, creating a romantic and elegant atmosphere that truly elevated the entire experience.
You could feel the care and professionalism in every performance, from the prelude to the recessional, everything was perfectly timed and heartfelt. Our guests still talk about how stunning the music was and how it captured the mood of the moment so perfectly.

Soft, Mellow, and Romantic Music for our Wedding
Laura was absolutely amazing as our wedding pianist! Her playing was beautiful and added so much to our ceremony. Laura is wonderful!
Laura is a lovely person to work with. She is very personable, kind, and so talented. She worked very hard to arrange a special version of one of our favorite songs for my bridal entrance music. We had a great consultation with her where we were able to listen to several songs and choose the music that suited us best. So patient and a wonderful musician!
I loved having Laura come to play for us during our ceremony. She is a lovely person and it shows through her music! 1/3 of my guests were running behind (probably due to the traffic getting to the venue as there is only one main highway and it was under construction) and she kept playing music anyway! Even when my parents were not able to walk down the aisle at the last minute (they have multiple heath issues) she rolled right along and she helped it go so smoothly. Her performance really set a lovely mood and she helped us pick out the best pieces. She has such a wide array of music that I'm 100% certain that if you have a specific song in mind, she'll have the music for it. She was lovely and even got to spend time with my family at the reception! -

Phenomenal Pianist
Laura is a class act and a wonderful musician and performance artist. Immediately upon speaking with her over the telephone I felt as if she would be the right fit for my elegant wedding. When I met her I knew I had made the right choice. She spent time discussing my vision for the wedding and through the course of our consultation played various selections on her electric piano so that she and I could partner together to make the ceremony an unforgettable experience. She was very knowledgeable, creative, and thorough. Laura also contacted the wedding coordinator and minister to run through the music and order of the ceremony so that everything was well planned and perfectly timed. Her sweet personality and professionalism made her an invaluable asset on my big day. People raved about her at the reception. We couldn’t have asked for better!! -

Laura is one of the sweetest people we have ever met. We found her by searching on google and were extremely lucky to have her. We had her play during our ceremony, which made it so special as we were able to customize and decide on every song to be played. She has a lot of experience playing weddings and even more knowledge of music. She has a vast library she plays and was able to obtain sheet music for a requested song not in her library. She is responsive and genuine in her communication. Her advice and recommendations for music were helpful (we used many of the songs she recommended).
If you're looking for someone who plays the piano/keyboard she is awesome! -

We felt so blessed to have found Laura. She was so patient with Emma while helping her choose music for the ceremony. Her repertoire is extensive and she played a number of songs for Emma so that she could make a perfect choice. Laura performed the music so beautifully during the ceremony that it exceeded our expectations. -

We used Laura for our wedding ceremony, and it was an awesome experience from beginning to end. During our consultation she made it very easy for us to determine the musical style we wanted for our wedding. Once that was determined she did a great job at making song recommendations that fit within that style. She is very timely and also comes with all the necessary equipment- so no need to worry about whether or not your venue has a piano, because she travels with her own! I would recommend Laura in a heartbeat! She is sweet and super talented! -

Laura is a very talented and professional musician who was an absolute pleasure to work with during the wedding planning. After a lengthy phone call with Laura she invited me to see her in Fort Worth to review music and make selections for our big day. I was very impressed with the time she took to spend with me and she really asked a lot of questions about what we wanted for our wedding in order to make recommendations for music pieces. She understands the wedding process very well and was able to make recommendations for music pieces to create the best flow. Her organ/piano sounds wonderful. She has a very wide range of songs to choose from and was willing to learn a new piece for me to walk down the aisle to. We spoke several times during the planning period and it was very clear from the beginning that she cares about her work and genuinely wanted to make our event beautiful. She's great! -

Mrs. Cummings was absolutely wonderful! She was able to fit us in on short notice and helped us arrange our wedding ceremony. She was great at suggesting different ways to play each song (piano, electric, strings, organ, or combination) to really add distinct character to each song and distinguish them from one another. She was extremely helpful at the rehearsal to make sure everything would be perfect on our wedding day. She even dressed to match the colors of the wedding. I highly recommend her to anyone for not only her exhaustive repertoire of music and outstanding ability to play the piano, but for her professionalism in streamlining our music to make it flawless. -

Laura was so professional and talented. She obviously invests much thought and practice time in preparing for each of her events. She communicated often and provided details of the music that we used to make a playlist so guests could listen for their favorites. She worked with us to match the style that we wanted to express, and she had so many great suggestions for both the ceremony and reception music that it made our planning and decision making easier. She even coordinated her attire to the colors and style of our wedding, and her outfit was beautiful. Laura Cummings is a delight and talented musician, with a large catalogue of dynamic music. We put together a unique musical template together that was traditional and modern for our wedding. Laura took her time with me through our emails and our phone conversations to grow an understanding of our wants and needs. I sat in her home office, piano by our side, while we listened and figured out what worked, and what didn't until we were both satisfied. Laura was fabulous! She contacted me very quickly after I had inquired about her availability through her website. Soon after we spoke over the phone to discuss the style of my wedding, what I was looking for, and what she could provide. She was always very personable and I really enjoyed the fact that she doesn’t just do business through e-mail like most vendors. Laura delivers quality service and wants to develop a relationship with each client. She is very talented, has an amazing repertoire, and knows how to coordinate the ceremony music to your style of wedding. Meeting with her helped me develop my ceremony outline and the music to be played at our cocktail hour - it saved me hours of researching and listening to music online! She also was very familiar with my wedding ceremony venue (Marty Leonard Chapel), and knew exactly where to set-up, how to play to size of the venue, etc. She hadn’t performed at the Fort Worth Club before, and took time out of her busy schedule to contact the Fort Worth Club and walkthrough her set-up at the venue prior to the wedding. That is just one of many examples of how she goes above and beyond to be prepared and deliver quality to her clients.
Additionally, I had soloists performing in my ceremony, and Laura arranged for a very talented accompanist (Echo) to accompany them. I appreciated her taking the time to reach out to Echo and arrange for her to accompany the wedding, it was a huge help. My soloists were blown away by her talent accompanying, and said she was one of the best they had ever worked with.
Laura is very professional and talented; you can trust her with your wedding or event. She was such a joy to work with!

We can save you a lot of time and effort by strongly recommending Laura as your pianist. There really is no need to look any further. Her professionalism and openness will put you at ease the first time you meet her. She opened her home to us to choose our music and hear her play it in her home studio. She has a huge portfolio of music to choose from for any taste. The excitement she showed to perform for us was so comforting. She was even taking pictures of us with her camera after the ceremony. I think that really shows how much she cares for her clients as people. We weren't able to hear all of the music because we were downstairs getting ready for our wedding ceremony and trying not to pass out from nervousness, but we had almost everyone that did hear her play comment on how beautiful it was...from classical to Patsy Cline to the Beatles and so much more. In closing, we just want to mention how affordable her talent is. After spending so much money on so many things and then looking for a pianist we were actually floored at the low cost for high quality REAL music. My wedding day was almost a disaster. The church I was scheduled to have my wedding at cancelled the day before because of construction....wow was I upset, a range of emotions ran through my head...luckily everything worked out and I was able to get a church Friday evening the day before the wedding! Laura is just an absolute joy to work with. My daughter lives out of town and had to fly in to make wedding arrangements. Laura invited us into her home and provided hours of song samplings on keyboard, strings and the organ and offered her advice based on years of experience. We were totally lost on song selection but once she played a portion of it, we quickly recognized many of the traditional classics. "I have sought out Laura's public performances since first hearing her play at a friends wedding 3 or 4 years ago. My wife and I asked Laura to play at our Wedding Reception. Sounds of Laura provided excellent live wedding ceremony music for our wedding. Laura and I reviewed each song and the order of songs in advance. She is very flexible and willing to work with you on music. Since she is such a professional, I trusted her opinion and judgement and went with the list she proposed. But I didn't want to enter to "here some the bride" so she chose a more classical piece for my entrance. Her keyboard produces so many varieties of sounds, not only piano, but organ, pipe organ, and many other sounds. When we were developing the list of music, she would play me an example of each sound...here it is in piano, here it is in organ, etc...which I appreciated. My music was completely customized for me and our wedding day. Everything was perfect and we had so many complements for having live music and not a CD. Sometimes, if there is a change or the timing is off, a CD seems off with the people walking. For example, we had some elderly people in the wedding so Laura could see them and time the music to their walk...the bridal party didn't have to adjust to the music, Laura adjusted and accomodated the music. Laura works hard to ensure that everything is just perfect for your wedding and my husband and I were very very pleased with her and would definately us her again for a private party. She even wore a dress to match our wedding colors, which looks great in the pictures!! We also felt that her prices were very reasonable for the exceptional service she provides and the time she puts into customizing your wedding for you. -

Laura was wonderful to work with and I was at ease knowing that my ceremony music would be perfect for my wedding day. She is very professional and makes you feel that your wedding is a top priority. I enjoyed having her play at my wedding ceremony! -

Laura was a blessing at my sister's wedding. We kept communicating by e-mail and by phone and she always was very kind to listen to our requests and she worked very hard in putting all the music together. The ceremony was full of symbolisms and different things than a traditional wedding and Laura did an amazing job juggling with the different parts of the program. We mainly speak Spanish but it wasn't a problem for her to deal with our broken English! Thank you Laura.

We planned our wedding long distance and waited until only a couple of months before the wedding to find a ceremony musician. We came across Laura and her prices and reviews seemed great so we decided to give her a call.
Working with Laura turned out to be wonderful. Laura is very passionate about her music and the art of compiling the songs together to allow a musical flow throughout the ceremony.
Laura was always very responsive with her e-mails and phone calls and was easy to communicate with.
Toward the end of planning there was a mix up with the ceremony outline, we had decided to plan the ceremony in a non-traditional way- but Laura was happy to be flexible and change the music up a bit to accommodate our wants and needs.
Laura's price is wonderful and includes her coming to the rehearsal- which was awesome. Her professionalism was really important to us, and helped us stay calm in our long-distance planning.
I would recommend Laura to anyone looking for a really lovely piano component to their wedding ceremony. -

Laura was so sweet! We loved that she welcomed us into her home and took her time playing different music options for us and helping us choose songs that fit our wedding best. She had tons of songs to choose from, but at the time of our wedding, was not able to take any new song requests that were not already in her repertoire. Aside from that small detail Laura was very prompt, very organized, and a pleasure to work with. -

Laura played the piano at my wedding ceremony and it was so beautiful, i wanted to cry but i didn't want to mess up my make-up. I really loved how she played Ave Maria, the best of all is that i have in videotape to replay over and over. -
