We cannot say enough great things about Dale Moberly from Sounds Great Entertainment! From the moment we started working with him, Dale was so easygoing, professional, and helpful. He truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day at The Madison Event Center unforgettable.
Dale didn't just play music—he expertly guided the entire flow of the evening. His timing was flawless, his announcements were clear and polished, and he kept everything running smoothly without ever feeling rushed or scripted.
And the dance floor? PACKED all night! Dale read the room perfectly and kept the energy high from the first dance to the very last song. So many of our guests told us it was one of the most fun wedding receptions they’ve ever attended—and that’s thanks to Dale.

DJ Dale was hired to provide both the music and sound system for our indoor/outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. Prior to the wedding, we met with him twice to carefully review every detail, including song selections, event timing, announcements, buffet calls, and game activities.
On our wedding day, Dale executed everything exactly as planned. He handled every detail with precision and professionalism, while also adapting seamlessly to anything that arose unexpectedly. One of the highlights of the reception was a scavenger hunt, which Dale led with enthusiasm, care, and a great sense of fun. Everyone had a blast!
We highly recommend DJ Dale and truly believe his services were worth every penny. He is an excellent listener, highly organized, and genuinely committed to making sure every request is fulfilled on your special day. It was an absolute pleasure working with him, and we are grateful for the role he played in making our wedding such a memorable celebration. -

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the ceremony to the last dance, everything was absolutely perfect. The music selection kept the dance floor full all night, and the transitions were seamless. He did an amazing job reading the crowd and playing the right songs at the right time.
Not only were they professional and organized, but they also brought such great energy to the entire event. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had! Communication leading up to the wedding was excellent, and they made the whole process stress-free.
If you’re looking for a DJ who will make your wedding unforgettable, I highly recommend them. -

Dale was so kind and gave us great suggestions on how to keep a good flow and make our wedding special while showcasing our personality. Dale took charge when things needed to get moved along which includes finding the groom and bride when needed and making sure people were quiet before the toast among other things. On the flipside, he took a step back when needed and allowed things to flow naturally. In our first interview he gave a lot of green flags for a wedding event and they weren't just talk. He followed through on those comments. We highly recommend him for any event and we will be recommending him to our friends. -

Dale was awesome to work with. We gave him a lot of tools and music selections we liked, and he ran with it with flying colors to give us a great party. He was a great emcee during the day too - keeping things moving along and the party going.
His website to add the song selections you want played, not played, etc was really easy to use as well. Day of he was also a component we didn't have to worry about - he handled setting himself up, talking with our officiant about the mic and all, and got the microphone to the right people at the right times through our reception.
The only issue we had was we had an outdoor wedding, and the wind day of made for the officiant to be tough to hear at times. We were fine standing right next to him, but our guests said he went in and out a bit.
All in all, Dale was great and a true professional - delivered a great party! -

You won’t be disappointed
Dale was the absolute best to work with. He took time to find out what my daughter and now son I. Law wanted for their wedding reception. He had the music they requested in the perfect playlist ensuring the dance floor was always full or people having a great time. I would recommend him for your event and will use him again when the need arises. His pricing is great and his professionalism top notch! You won’t be disappointed if you use Sounds great entertainment for your event -

We feel very fortunate to have had Dale and Sounds Great! Entertainment provide sound and music for our son's wedding. Dale was extremely professional and committed to exceeding our needs for both the ceremony and the reception. Our plan involved setups in two locations at the Aquarium. Dale handled the equipment and transition from one site to another incredibly well providing the "feel" we were looking for in both venues. Very easy to work with, super communication, and excellent suggestions made planning and execution a breeze from our end. I highly recommend Dale! He is so kind, friendly, easy to work with, professional, organized, and knowledgeable. We met before the event and he covered all the details and was very flexible. He has a system to create a playlist that is very user friendly but I already had Spotify playlists (for dinner and dancing) made and he was happy to work with that so it was much easier on me! He is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure you have the perfect event. I was so lost on how to make a timeline of events (between speeches, buffet dinner, anniversary dance, trying to get group table photos quickly, etc.) and he was able to recommend a timeline that worked for us. Everything went so smoothly! The day of the event, Dale arrived early to set up, he even helped us light candles before guests arrived at the venue - that was so appreciated because I was stressing! Dale read the room and kept our party going. I would absolutely book Dale again! Thanks so much Dale! -

My highest recommendation goes to Dale Moberly with Sounds Great Entertainment. He made our day run so smoothly and we were so grateful for all he did to ensure it was our best day ever. He met with us in person twice before our wedding day, he was efficient and yet, so thoughtful about planning for our day. He showed up on time and early for our wedding day to make sure everything was set up and ready to go. He is also extremely kind and listens to all of your requests. He has my full recommendation for your big day! -

Need a wedding dj? Sounds Great! Entertainment is the one to choose! Dale is such a pleasure to work with! From the first meeting to the wedding, Dale was always so kind, considerate and willing to make the day perfect, however we needed. He was flexible and understanding and helped put together an amazing playlist that kept people on their feet the whole night! Dale was my teacher when I was younger and always made his lessons vibrant and exciting. It was no surprise that he was just as fun as a DJ. Prior to the wedding, Dale met with us and had great communication which helped make the day and transitions flawless! On the day of the wedding, Dale and his wife, Jill, were there to DJ. Dale is personable and invested in your day! He works to make sure every detail is addressed to make your reception/party what you want it to be! He arrives early and makes sure everything is working. He will stick to your timeline and help organize the wedding party. As mother of the bride I was pulled in many directions, but the one thing I did not have to do was manage the DJ! He did an exceptional job! He played the songs that my daughter and her groom picked, and made sure the crowd was entertained. I am so impressed with his attention to detail! I give my highest recommendation! -
