Stephanie Sent on 02/01/2012Professional, & affordable!!! He kept the people dancing all night! He even help Coordinate my wedding perfectly! He helped me the timing of the music perfectly while i walked down the aile; there was a specific part of the song i wanted played while i walked down the aile. He even help with the timing of the song for our bridal party wedding dance. I know it wasnt easy considering i had a huge wedding party, but Dave took his time I got it down perfectly!! Dave is soo commited, and loyal to all his customers. HE replied to every single email i had emailed him. I was even emailing him tons of emails a whole year before i actually hired him & signed a contract, and he would reply and try to help me any way he can. He travels all over Ca. and one flat rate. YOu can diffiantly tell he loves what he does! I would diffiantly hire him again for another event! -

Katy Sent on 09/05/2012I found David through my wedding planner and when I first met him I was worried about having him play at my wedding. My planner reassured me that he was very professional and had a good price. I filled out the paperwork he asked and we didn't meet again for awhile. When it got closer me and my Fiance met with him again to discuss the reception and to give him a disk that had our first dance song on it. My Fiance didn't really like the relaxed vibe we got from him either. But, the wedding planner assured me that he was really good at what he did. On the day of the wedding the ceremony went great. And then the reception started and he announced us as Mr. and Mrs. Cooke, my new last name is Scott. When I realized what he had said I wanted to cry. My uncle even went up to correct him and he said that that was the information he had. Turns out he forgot the original paperwork that we had given him with our names and stuff. I decided to let it go because I didn't want to cause problems at my own reception. As the night went on people began to dance and have a good time. He played hardly any slow songs, which it would have been nice if he had played a better mix of slow songs mixed in. At one point he played a really weird song that my now Husband had him kill. At the end of the night I asked him to slow it down and he immediately started to play country music. I had told him many times on multiple occasions that I hate country music and that it didn't represent us as a couple. We had to ask him to kill the song. He stared at me like he had no other slow songs to play. So, I decided to end my reception 15 minutes early and had him play what I wanted to be the last song of the night. He needs to be better organized and be a better listener. I regret having him at my wedding. And while he has apologized it was only after I confronted him two weeks later, right before this review. Then he tired to contest this review. Makes me wonder if I'm the only one?
