We cannot express how much we LOVED DJ Mike at Sound Formula Entertainment! Our wedding went perfectly, and between the photo booth and the overall entertainment, our guests had an absolute blast. Mike was incredibly professional, organized, and always willing to help us make decisions throughout the planning process. Everything was seamless from start to finish, and on the wedding day, every detail turned out exactly how we had discussed. He was also so flexible with last-minute changes and stayed on top of every request I had as a bride, which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. We would 10/10 recommend Sound Formula Entertainment to anyone looking for a professional, experienced, and fully equipped DJ for their event! -

Mike Napoli was an absolute 10/10 DJ for our wedding! From our very first phone call, I knew we could trust him—he was professional, kind, and genuinely excited to make our day special. He told me he would be reliable and he absolutely delivered. I had many phone calls with DJs and he was the only one my head, heart and gut said to book with. On the wedding day, he kept the dancefloor alive all night long, reading the crowd perfectly and playing music that everyone loved.
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about him—so many said he was amazing and that they would pick him as a DJ if they could relive our wedding. He handled every moment seamlessly, from the introductions to the special dances, and made the entire reception feel effortless and fun.

Stop reading reviews for other music vendors and book SoundFormula for your wedding NOW!!! DJ Mike was always readily available to discuss any questions and the app made planning a breeze. His adaptability and charisma (always smiling!) at our wedding made us feel calm even when our reception timeline was running late. We couldn't decide between a live band and DJ, so the addition of Ryan the saxophone player also made for the perfect musical fusion.
Mike's greatest strength is his ability to read the room. The dance floor was full the entire night! We even had older family members dancing for the first time in public. They felt so comfortable on the dance floor which was very special to us. We received many compliments throughout the night from our guests that they loved the DJ and saxophone player.
SoundFormula took the stress away from wedding planning. They were one of the easiest vendors to work with. Do not hesitate to book them for your wedding or next special event! -

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than Mike Napoli for our wedding at the Sagamore Hotel in Bolton Landing, NY. From start to finish, his service was nothing short of outstanding. Mike was incredibly organized throughout the entire process — from coordinating meetings to building out timelines — and made everything feel effortless.
One of the things we really appreciated was the app he provided to help us choose our music. It made it so easy to organize songs for every part of the day — ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Once we completed it, we reviewed everything with Mike during our meeting, and he helped fine-tune the playlists perfectly to match our vision.
He was also thoughtful enough to communicate directly with our other vendors and coordinators to make sure every detail was perfectly aligned. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch — every transition, from the ceremony cues to cocktail hour to the reception introductions, was perfectly timed and executed.
Our reception was everything we hoped for: fun, high-energy, and completely tailored to our requests. Mike played all of our must-have songs and mixed in his own selections that complemented our choices perfectly. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the music was and how the dance floor stayed full all night.

SoundFormula Entertainment, Mike, and DJ Dave Ali are the greatest. If you are looking to book a DJ then your work is done and you have to book with SoundFormula. Mike is extremely professional and organized and was helpful with every step of our wedding. Dave Ali was our DJ for our wedding day and was legitimately the best. He went above and beyond our expectations and did everything that we asked. He edited our first dance song to be perfect and checked in with us throughout the night. We got multiple compliments from all of our guests about how great the music was and our dance floor was exactly what we envisioned. Thank you Mike and Dave! -

Mike was extremely professional from the beginning to the end and made us feel very comfortable that he was on top of not only music, but lighting, sound/mics, a photo booth, and a very detailed timeline. We have been to many weddings where the sound at the ceremony or during speeches cuts out and takes away from the moment, but there was not a single issue the day of our wedding with Mike. We had the pleasure of also having Mike's newest addition, a saxophonist, to play along side his DJ booth and it was a HUGE hit - our guests are still talking about it! -

Mike was awesome!
Dj Mike Napoli knows how to read a dance floor! Many times towards the end of the night my guests were telling me how awesome he was at picking the right songs. He was crushing it with the early 2000 remixes! The us of mixed with bubbles, lightning, glow sticks and light sabers made this a magical, fun wedding where everyone had blast. He even let my father in law come up and sing a song unscheduled and it went so smooth. Mike crushed it and did great with the the ceremony as well music and audio for the priest and speech givers. Mike uses an to help schedule songs and build playlists it helps to keep your entire wedding on schedule he legit built our schedule and sent it to the caterers. He was having a fun time himself out there! We would recommend him to friends and family. -

Mike was the DJ for my wedding in October and boy did he fulfill his responsibilities! DJ Mike was so professional and really got to know my husband and I. He made sure he knew what kind of music we wanted to hear at our wedding and what we didn’t want to hear! Mike and his wife are so sweet. His wife was in charge of the photo booth which all of our guests loved. Mike is also very accommodating. We changed our minds on some of our song selections a few days prior to our wedding, and he quickly made the changes for us. His Vibo app is very convenient, and a great tool to make sure that we were on the same page with one another throughout the planning process. Mike did a great job at keeping all of our guests on the dance floor all night. He even let my husband and I DJ for a few minutes which was really the highlight of our night. His lights turned our wedding into a complete dance party and we had so much fun. We are so impressed by Mike’s presentation. We would 100% recommend SoundFormula Entertainment to everyone. Mike was great to work with! Very responsive and gave great advice when needed! Planning with him was smooth sailing! The day of the wedding was no different! His app that he uses was a huge help when deciding on songs!
He had great energy and kept everyone up and dancing! We had a lot of people come up after the wedding to say how great he was and how much fun they had.
He really hit on every generation/genre of music that we discussed in our meetings! Mike definitely pays close attention to whose up and dancing and does what he can to kept it going!

We knew were going to book Mike probably less than 5 minutes into our initial phone inquiry, even though we had a very thorough 45 minute conversation. He was so down to earth, and had a great balance of listening to our wants and needs and also giving his professional opinion. People of all ages were up dancing, smiling, and appreciating the good vibes he were sending through our venue. There is a video our friend took of everyone drunkenly singing along to Uptown Girl, and we die laughing whenever we watch it. He also made sure to play my must play "Savage Remix" and making my night… there’s a video of that too lol. Needless to say, Mike understood the assignment. Technically, his transitions from song to song were absolutely seamless, and knew what to play to get people on their feet. Would no doubt recommend! -

Mike and Melissa were absolutely wonderful to work with and kept the dance floor at our wedding packed ALL night long. From the initial meet all the way up to our wedding day Mike was super responsive and helpful with all the planning, answering numerous emails and texts with questions or changes I had. He worked with us and ever so easily flowed with the multiple changes we had the day of due to weather. He made the whole planning so much less stressful when it came to the music and really knows how to customize his services to fit his client's needs. He also offers photobooth services which our guests LOVED!! He also gave us add ons and has so many options to chose from lighting and even indoor fireworks (unfortunately our venue wouldn't allow it but they look awesome). Mike and SoundFormula Entertainment exceeded all of Rich and my expectations when searching for a DJ and entertainer for our 3/26/21 wedding. It was one of the first weddings back since all of the lighter restrictions and regulations/guidelines were set in places due to COVID-19.
I have always been pretty critical of DJs at other weddings and events I have attended- paying attention to the type of music playing, there vibe they give out to the crowd and how they interact, etc.
Since working with Mike from the first inquiry, he has been not only helpful and organized, but able to adapt to both Rich and my personalities, learn about both of our types of music genre and also understand the theme we were going for. He reviewed ALL of the music we chose through his amazing app called Vibo, which made choosing ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, father/daughter, mother/son dances so much easier!
Lastly, the photo booth- wow! Mike and Melissa did an OUTSTANDING job. My guests had such a fantastic time in the COVID SAFE photo booth! I truly can’t thank Mike and SoundFormula Entertainment for such amazing entertainment at my wedding- their smiles, friendliness and gorgeous family slideshow will be one to remember during our pandemic wedding!
If you are searching around for a DJ- you should really stop and contact Mike... he does it all and he actually listens to the customers wants and needs and reads the crowd!

Michael was amazing! The pandemic forced us to change a number of plans we originally had for our wedding. Lucky for us, we ended up working with some wonderful professionals who made everyone feel safe and comfortable while still creating a fun, celebratory atmosphere. My wedding was originally May 16 this year. With everything going on with the COVID 19 stuff we decided to reschedule. Mike went out of his way to not only let us reschedule without penalty but to also agree to let me know before anyone was going to book on our original date. He is always there when you need to text him with any questions and also offers both the online format for the wedding but also the app for your phone to truly personalize your day. Will definitely review in September after our rescheduled event and will always recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

I honestly cannot say enough about Sound Formula Entertainment. Mike was absolutely amazing. Between changing our wedding date not once but twice, to adding services and changing things around, he was so accommodating and did anything and everything he could to make our day everything we could’ve dreamed of. We had him do ceremony and reception music, as well as photo booth and uplighting. Everything was great. When the WiFi at the venue wasn’t strong enough for printing, he made it so our guests could email or text them to themselves. He also plans to send us the strips so we can put them into our thank you cards. The music was everything we wanted. The ceremony music was perfectly timed, and when the microphones picked up the wind, he fixed the speakers so you didn’t hear as much of it. He gives you an app that you sign onto and you can fill out a form for your event with every detail from your bridal party to what line dances you want and any other special games or dances you want to be played. On the app he also adds playlists for every part of your event to add songs for him to go off of. He kept the party going every second of the night. The mash-ups and transitions were expertly done and when the group was really feeling a song, he kept it going for a little before transitioning to another song with the same feel and beat to keep the hype up.
I could go on and on for days. But all in all, I would hire him any time I needed a DJ. He knows what he’s doing. And the DJ booth is sleek and organized. If you want a DJ who knows how to party and keep every detail of your evening going, Sound Formula Entertainment is the DJ you want to hire! -

Amazing DJ
Had the wedding at birch hill , it was absolutely amazing . Mike went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and accommodate to last minute changes we had to make . We had our wedding in the winter and he gave us a great package deal that also included the photo booth which people loved !!! It was such high quality !
My husband and I were nervous about people not dance prior to the wedding and man did Mike prove us wrong . People were dancing non stop . When the guests starting winding down and heading back to their tables Mike knew what to do . He was always reading the crowd . He switched up the music and everyone was back on the dance floor ! The glow sticks were also a huge hit ! I would 10000% recommend Sound Formula for any event . -

Mike provided the best soundtrack and lighting for our big day! Even created the perfect custom monogram for us! DJ Mike Napoli killed it! He had the perfect mix of music to get everyone on the dance floor, and also used the Vibo app which helped me list exactly what songs I wanted for when/what vibe I was going for. The photobooth was an absolute hit, I can’t recommend it enough. Super easy for everyone to use and all the pictures get sent to you as well so you can see what you might’ve missed. Everyone was saying how each family blended with each other rather than being on either side of the room and Mike was a huge reason for that! -

Mike did an excellent job DJing our wedding. He truly paid attention the the information we put into his online database. He even organized something special with my Maid of Honor to make her speech even more entertaining!
We met Mike in person at first and then spoke via e-mail many times leading up to the wedding. A week before we spoke on the phone to go over every detail and even at the reception he double checked everything with us, as we had made some last minute changes. He’s very through and creative. Our guests along with us enjoyed allllll the music. He’s great! -
