All-In-One DJ for your Wedding!

David was seriously amazing from start to finish. He handled so much for us — ceremony music, reception DJing, an audio guestbook, and even a projector setup for my dad’s speech. Having one person coordinate all of that made everything feel really seamless.

The planning process was also incredibly straightforward and stress-free. He made choosing music easy and helped guide us through everything without making it overwhelming. We originally leaned a little too hard into old-school songs for the reception, but midway through the night we asked if he could pivot to something more modern — and he adapted instantly. Didn’t miss a beat, and suddenly everyone was on the dance floor vibing.

Honestly, I wish we had booked Sound Wave Mobile DJ as our first vendor because it would’ve saved us a lot of stress coordinating things like lighting and photobooths separately. If you’re looking for a wedding DJ in Sunol for a wedding at Nella Terra Cellars, we couldn’t recommend them more!

Ceremony and Reception DJ/Emcee

David was an amazing DJ and emcee! From the very start, he was organized and communicative, making the planning process so smooth. Even with the small hiccups we had, he stayed flexible and handled the timing perfectly. He definitely kept people on the dancefloor all night, and the photo booth was amazing as well! Review for Sound Wave Mobile DJ

David DJ'd for our wedding on 10/18/25 and we honestly could not have asked for a better DJ and MC for our reception! We appreciated the flexibility of his packages and the add-ons you could have if you wanted (we also had the photobooth and audio phone guestbook). Pricing was reasonable and he also made a special dance mix for the father/daughter dance that now remains a favorite personal memory from the night.

David is also extremely professional, understanding and detail oriented. He communicates when he'd be able to get back to you about questions/concerns and fulfilled the song requests that we had put in from cocktail hour to the dance floor. We received many compliments from our friends/family about how everything ran super smooth and David played a huge factor in making sure the evening went according to the planned schedule. The dance floor remained hyped all evening and David expertly blends/transitions songs depending on how the vibes are going. On soundwavemobiledj's instagram page, you will also be able to get a good glimpse at his MC/DJ skills at events/weddings.

Cannot thank David enough for his time and services for the day! Despite being booked and busy, he always made sure that we felt confident and supported in the wedding process. Highly recommend David for your DJ/MC needs!

the best team to work with!

Had the best time working with David and his wonderful wife for our wedding! We went with The Diamond Package which had many services and added some extras! Each service was 11/10: DJ/MC, Photobooth, boomerang photobooth, Moving Heads On Totems,12 Wireless Uplights, digital monogram, Retro Audio Guestbook, and Cloud Fog Guns! The Fog gums were beyond fun to use, great photo opp where we used in the end and for our send off! All photos that were not picked up from the photobooth were also kept safely for us in the end to collect !Also before closing up each photobooth, they made sure we had at least one photo taken! Now that is what i call amazing service because you get so caught being the show of the wedding and can forget to enjoy what you purchased!!

When choosing a DJ, we looked a lot for personality and if the DJ can read the crowd. Our venue had us choose from a list of partners and we chose to work with soundwave a year before our wedding because of David's interaction with us. When speaking to him, you can tell he knows what he's doing and completely understands how budgets work for every couple, and he sure knows all the music to play for each age group. He was able to work with us giving us amazing promos too.

David is also very professional and patient! We were pretty last minute in our choices and made some last minute changes as well and David was amazing made it all happen!!

So if you're looking for a DJ with many services, go for Sound Wave Mobile DJ! You will not regret it!

Calm, Cool, & Collected!

We are beyond grateful we chose David for our wedding! He came highly recommended by our venue, and now we understand why. From the start, he offered a variety of packages to fit any budget, which made the process flexible and stress-free.

He was kind, professional, organized, patient, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire planning process. His client portal is extensive and so helpful — especially if you have specific tastes in music. We had regular meetings leading up to the big day, and he always answered our questions promptly while offering thoughtful recommendations from his wealth of experience as a DJ, emcee, and even officiant.

On the day of our wedding, he was calm, collected, and rolled with every curveball with ease. He kept the energy high from start to finish, perfectly balancing our preferences with reading the crowd. Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had on the dance floor!

Amazing service!!! Dance floor was full and the best part of the whole night.

I had my wedding this September at Nella Terra Cellars in Sunol, CA. As a recommended DJ for this venue, Sound Wave Mobile DJ was very knowledgeable in what was needed there.

The Sound Wave Mobile DJ team was amazing and key to making our special day even more extraordinary. David provided excellent communication along the way, answered all my questions, and when it came to the big day, everything went spectacularly. David was super easy to work with and played all the music we requested. Our dance floor was full the whole night & it wouldn't have been possible without the Sound Wave Mobile DJ team. Casa Bella

David was a fantastic DJ for our wedding in October 2024 at Casa Bella. As a couple who’s really into music, we gave him a list of songs we love, and he turned it into an amazing mix that truly set the tone for the night. It was such a relief to have the music be exactly what we hoped for. Our guests loved the dance floor. The playlist was the perfect blend of upbeat tracks and old school bangers that kept everyone moving. David was also a great master of ceremonies. He handled some last minute emergency changes with ease and helped keep everything flowing smoothly. The photobooth he provided was also a huge hit. Our guests had a blast with it, and the photos turned out great. He even went above and beyond to hang our custom sign, completely last minute, which made the setup feel even more personal and special. David was proactive and easy to work with throughout the planning process, especially when it came to coordinating our first dances and the overall timeline. He’s the first person that comes to mind when we think of a true professional and we’d absolutely recommend him to anyone planning a wedding.

10/10 Experience and Vendor!

David was a preferred vendor for our venue. After reading all the amazing reviews and our initial contact, we booked David for his DJ and Photobooth rental services (which also included a monogram projection to add a little special touch!). David provides reasonable packages and is very professional. As wedding planning could be really stressful, we naturally had many questions for David during the initial interview. His communication stood out to us because he answered all of our questions patiently and made sure to reach out and jot down all the small details that are often overlooked. In preparation to our wedding, David made sure to highlight and communicate what works well and what doesn't in his experience, which was greatly appreciated. During our planning session, we communicated to David our concerns about having a dryer/slower dance floor as well as loud noise levels. David was very encouraging and understanding.

On wedding day, David and his wife (who attended the Photobooth) made sure everything ran smoothly. David consistently checked in with us as well. We appreciated that he heard our concerns and catered towards us. At the end of the night, our guests wanted to kept the party going because David knew how to engage them and our guests had fun (which is what we hoped for!).

One last item to add, the Photobooth quality was awesome. All the pictures were printed quick and in high resolution. The lighting was great as well. We were able to get the link to all of our photos within a couple days. I highly recommend David and will keep him in mind for future events!

Fantastic DJ and Photobooth Services!

What an amazing DJ and we loved having their photobooth services! Leading up to the wedding, David was very responsive and helpful, and took on my additional request of creating a special father daughter dance mix which involved 3 songs and required several cuts! We were impressed with his overall professionalism, attention to detail, and helpful tips throughout the planning phase.
On the actual wedding day, David and his wife Cristina absolutely nailed it, from making sure that everything ran smoothly to creating an amazing atmosphere that guests thoroughly enjoyed. We had explained to David how we wanted the dancing portion to follow different types of playlists, and David executed our vision perfectly.
Overall, we really wanted to make sure our guests had fun at our wedding and thanks to David and Cristina's services, we could not be more pleased with the result! Thank you both so much!

Sound wave Mobile DJ and Photobooth Services

My husband and I booked Dave for our August 2024 wedding at Casa Bella. Our venue had a set list of DJs that we could book, and after interviewing several other DJs on the list, we decided to book Dave and were extremely happy with our choice. He was very professional throughout the process and he did several calls with us and asked many questions to make sure he understood what we wanted through each step of the wedding from ceremony songs through the reception dance party songs. We got tons of complements from our friends and family and our dance floor was never empty. Would highly recommend him for your wedding and he also has great packages that include photobooth or boomerang options that will give your friends fun things to do to remember your special night.

Great Time!

We recently had the pleasure of working with David and Cristina for our wedding at Nella Terra Cellars and had the best experience! We heard many compliments about the music throughout the night and we really felt like all of the types of music we were hoping for were perfectly included.

Later on in the night Cristina brought the photobooth out on the dance floor which was the BEST idea ever! I never would have made it over to it without that and those shots are sooo funny. We highly recommend them both!

Full dance floor and amazing DJ!!

Talk about being able to read a room! We gave David pretty minimal direction with the music we wanted at our wedding, some genres we liked and a couple do not play songs. All we stressed is that we wanted a full dance floor, and for all ages to feel welcome and that there was something for everyone. David did not disappoint! As the bride, I think I left the dance floor just once for a quick drink refill and to hit the photobooth. And speaking of photobooth, having Christine manage the photo booth was seamless. She even held onto my copies of the photo strips and passed them to our wedding coordinator at the end of the night. So sweet and thoughtful, especially since I just wanted to hit the dance floor again!

Everything we wanted in a dj & photobooth

David & his wife were an amazing team! He was a preferred vendor at our location and my photographer had worked with him previously. She had nothing but good things to say about him as well as our wedding coordinator. Before the wedding, he helped up set up everything and answered all our questions. He was very flexible, helpful, and professional. The day of the wedding went smoothly and perfectly. He was great at his music mixes and MCing. Amazing DJ!

David was incredible to work with! He was super friendly, detailed, and responsive. From the first meeting we knew we were in good hands. When we found a first dance song we loved that was a little slow, he helped adjust the tempo for us which was some kind of magic. His online gig builder was super easy to use and allowed us to pick songs that were significant for our guests. We love music and had tons of songs on our list but we told him it was in his control to play whatever he felt the vibe was and he was incredible. Our guests kept wanting to get up and dance during dinner and the party was non stop the whole reception. We got tons of compliments on the music from our guests! The photo booths at cocktail hour and reception were a hit and having those memories is priceless. Our monogram on the tent ceiling really set the mood.

DJ David Gomes - a wedding professional with the repertoire of music and cultural knowledge

Isabel and I just wrapped up our dream wedding at Ardenwood Historic Farm on April 24, 2022. DJ David was a large part of our event's success as he was fundamental with the AV components of the wedding ceremony as well MC and DJ'ing duties coupled with the lovely photo booth. I worked with David over several phone calls to get the music just right - a combination of both the songs the bride/myself wanted and his recommendations for structuring the wedding program and his knowledge of what a Puerto Rican and Filipino reception should look like (i.e. structuring the program that included a money dance, the overall flow of the program).

David rolled with the punches throughout the night and made you feel like we never had to worry about his portion. I highly recommend getting the photo booth from David (his wife managed it so you love to see the couple in action) and the interface was easy to use as they text you the photos from the booth.

Isabel and I highly recommend Sound Wave Mobile DJ for your wedding. When you talk to David, you already know you're in excellent hands but when you see him in action, the amount of people on the dance floor is a prime example of why David is the best at what he does.

Get a fun and professional experience with David!

We worked with David for our wedding on 10/2/22 and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ! From the start, finding a DJ that was able to cater to our diverse guest list was really important. In our initial conversation with David, it was obvious that he had tons of experience playing for all kinds of crowds and was very knowledgeable about the kinds of music that would get people dancing. In our final meeting before the wedding, he was very attentive to our must plays, don't plays, wedding day timeline, and the vibe that we were going for. Fantastic DJ and photobooth!

We worked with David and team for our wedding ceremony at Nella Terra, and couldn’t be more pleased with his services!! David is not only great at his job, but is also a kind and friendly person — we loved working with him from start to finish! He provides an online portal for all clients to add their song preferences, wedding party names/timeline, etc., basically anything he needs to know. We met with David twice before our wedding to make sure we were aligned on all of the details (including pronouncing the names of family + wedding party members correctly, which we especially appreciated!), and on the day of, we felt confident that he’d handle everything — and he sure did!! We didn’t have to worry about a thing. His energy and music kept everyone dancing and celebrating all night long. David also provided us with a photobooth at the reception, which our guests loved! Awesome!!!

David was one of those vendors we worked with where we felt completely at ease and attended to. He has a very calm and pleasant demeanor and was very professional and knowledgable about his work. He also was a preferred vendor at our venue--Nella Terra--and that made a big difference as he knew the ins and outs of our venue in setting up and in executing the job. David made the planning process easy and had excellent feedback and suggestions when we were figuring out what songs to use or what activities to do during our reception. David also rocked the flow of our wedding so seamlessly and I received plenty of comments that the wedding ran without a hitch or awkward gaps. Our dance floor was popping through the night and we loved how all ages got down on the dance floor. His wife runs the photobooth and it was also run so smoothly! Many guests told me that was their favorite part of the wedding and I'm grateful for how all my guests were accommodated so graciously as the photobooth line was busy ALL NIGHT! From the planning stages to the day of, we were extremely satisfied with working with Soundwave and Lets Take a Pic Photobooth!! And their prices were SUPER reasonable! Highly highly recommend. Completely trust Soundwave/David's service!

David is the absolute best. He is professional and knows exactly what he is doing. He worked with us when we had to change our wedding due to the virus. I would not hesitate to hire David again if I had any other events! The website he uses to manage the songs and timeline is very easy to navigate and use, and payment is simple. We had our wedding at Nella Terra and all the other vendors love him as well. Also the Photo Booth hardware he uses was very easy to use for our guests and he allowed us to choose a background before hand. The photos from the Photo Booth are amazing and was a big hit during the night - these photos are printed immediately, texted immediately and are available on a photos website for 6 months! Hire David he is wonderful!

A fantastic wedding DJ - organized, respectful, and enthusiastic!

David provided DJ and MC services for our October 2019 wedding at Casa Bella and he was absolutely terrific! He provides you with an online planner that makes the planning process so easy! We booked his services about a year in advance of our wedding. About a week before our wedding, we had a phone meeting with him and went over all of the details. Best wedding dj!

David and Cristina were extremely pleasant to work with. Extremely professional, respectful, and definitely put the couple before anything else. My husband and I had a pretty strict playlist for our wedding. We knew we wanted certain songs on our playlist as well as certain genres not to be played. David pretty much adhered to our playlist, and all of our guests enjoyed the music. The dance floor was full the entire night. The music that David played engaged all of our guests and they were very entertained. We played a lot of oldies and throwbacks so the older people and younger people were able to feel nostalgic when hearing the music of “their time”. I’ve been to weddings where the DJ/MC were super cheesy, and I didn’t want that for my wedding. David didn’t do any of the cheesy things, which I appreciated. The greenscreen photo booth was a hit! People enjoyed being able to choose different backdrops, and guests took multiple trips back to the photobooth to get a picture with each backdrop. David pretty much let us do whatever we wanted, but when we did need some ideas or recommendations, he was there to suggest things. Thanks David for everything!!

Great Wedding DJ!

We really enjoyed having David as our DJ. He did a fabulous job as our MC and out guests LOVED both the music and the photo booth. His work was so much fun to dance to! Professional and excellent DJ/Lighting/Photobooth service!

David and his wife and son were an amazing crew. We got the deluxe package including the photobooth and everything was fantastic. David was responsive to all of my questions and was flexible with the requests and timing we had on schedule. The photobooth was also fantastic and I was able to download all the pictures to my computer quickly after the event. Smooth planning, great service

My wife and I booked Sound Wave Mobile DJ for our wedding at Stonebrae Country Club. We booked them for their sound system, photo booth, and projector (for a slideshow) and were very happy with all of their services. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially compared to other sound/DJ vendors. We appreciated how easy the planning process was and loved their professionalism and experience.

To prepare for the wedding day, Sound Wave provided an online form for us to fill out. The form was straightforward and laid out exactly what information we needed to provide. The month before the wedding, we had a call with David from Sound Wave to talk through all the details. We were pleased with how simple it was to prepare for the event.

The service on the day of was great. David arrived early to set up and everything related to their services went smoothly. The photo booth especially was a hit with our guests. The package we purchased also included a photo booth album where guests could put a copy of their photos and write a message which was a nice souvenir to take home.

Overall, a great experience and would highly recommend. We are thankful to David and Sound Wave Mobile DJ for helping make our wedding a memorable event.

Highly Recommend Mr. and Mrs. Gomes

Mr. and Mrs. David Gomes were a joy to work with during our wedding at Ardenwood Farms. He was a preferred vendor, and now we know why. David was so communicative, professional, and kind from the beginning. He helped us with our soundtrack/music selection, and when we met him on the day of our wedding, he was so accommodating with last-minute changes that we made. His response time via email and phone is also excellent.
David was the MC/DJ for our whole wedding, and I honestly recommend him to any couple searching for a DJ. David and his wife also organized and manned the photo booth; he gave us a wide variety of background selections; they were all so beautiful. He and his wife also brought the props for the photo booth, and we received many compliments. I highly recommend Sound Wave Mobile to any couple looking for a DJ/MC to run things smoothly and beautifully on one of the most important days of their lives. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Mr. and Mrs. Gomes!

Rocked the crowd!

David was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was one of the selected vendors for our venue, and after reading through all of the reviews and meeting with him, we knew we made the right choice. We had two phone meetings with him prior to our wedding to discuss the timeline, music selection, and vibe for our wedding. He let us know from beginning what he can and cannot do (such as no explicit music for our venue) so it was good to know the expectations up front. He is also very knowledgeable in different cultural weddings traditions, so it was helpful when planning our wedding with him. He also has a website where we were able to add all the music we would like to hear during the ceremony and reception, what music we did not want to hear, and a form where we could fill out that basically laid out the timeline for the ceremony and reception along with all of the people involved in the wedding (bridesmaids, parents, etc.) On the day of, he was great as an MC in helping us keep to our timeline the day of, introducing the wedding party, and keeping the party flowing through the whole night. Our guests had a blast, and the song that he chose for our last song was the most unexpected and perfect song to end the night.

Great DJ and photo booth

David was one of the preferred DJs for the Ardenwood Farms venue and we are very happy that we chose him. David was very responsive and flexible. We waited almost to the last minute to pick our songs, but David was ok with it and managed to get all the songs we requested. He helped move along the reception and was managing dancing music perfectly.

We also loved our photo booth - it was a huge hit with our guests! We had many excellent pics that the booth attendant put together in an album.

Overall, we had a great experience with David and would recommend him wholeheartedly!

Hire David!!!!! He is so experienced, professional, able to read the crowd, and fantastic at his job! He made our wedding wonderful. He worked with our every need and took charge of the flow. He went above and beyond to give us the wedding feel that we wanted.

It was a joy to have David as our wedding DJ. He was extremely professional and definitely kept the party going which was important to us. We also had a video slideshow that was played before the ceremony started and he went out of his way to go to the venue a week before the wedding to test the lighting since it was an outdoor ceremony. His prices are very reasonable and his online planner made adding our favorite songs so easy!

David was a joy to work with for our wedding! He was very understanding of what type of music I wanted played during each of the different pieces of the wedding, took my very specific requests and ideas and worked them in flawlessly, and even worked with me to set up the sound system for a friend of the family playing piano during the ceremony.
Our reception was one big, amazing party thanks to David! He read the room perfectly and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long- there was not a single song without the majority of people dancing (myself included!). He perfectly transitioned between the "activities" (toasts, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc.) and was a completely professional and compelling MC all night long.
Can't recommend highly enough!

Soundwave mobile DJ was recommended to my wife and I through our venue and we could not have been happier with the service that was provided. David responded extremely quickly when we reached out to him and he was excellent through the whole planning process. He had us fill out a simple form to let him know what we wanted for our wedding day, and he then had a follow up phone conversation with us to confirm. We also used his photo booth package which was a huge hit at our wedding. Our dance floor was full all night and everyone told us how great of a time they had. As someone who did the DJ hunt let me tell you this is your guy. He has it all and every ounce of knowledge and product is top quality. The sound quality, monogram, personalization options, and the open air photo booth are by far the best I have experienced and let me tell you, as frequent wedding attendee, these little things matter. Don’t waste anymore time hunting, hire David. He has all the knowledge and skill for the right price.

I was absolutely pleased as punch with David. He worked from beginning to end with me on our wedding at Casa Bella in Sunol. I was clueless about most things and he took the time to work with me and explain everything. Not only was I completely at ease by the time I had finished planning, but his presence and professionalism at our event knocked the socks off our guests' and my expectations! We had a blast and he played all the right songs. He was top notch and a great find. His photobooth was also the hit of the party. We were so pleased with deciding to go with that DJ + Booth package. We hired David as our Wedding DJ this past fall at the Bridges Golf Club and could not have been happier. The process for selecting our music was so incredibly easy, he walked us through the setlist to make sure we were happy/aware of our selections, and did a great job of filling in the rest of the music air time with his own selections based on our music taste. We had a number of guests say "Who is this guy?! Best DJ ever!". We could not have been happier with the price, quality, and service we received.

We hired David as our officiant and DJ for our wedding at the Club at Ruby Hill. We also booked him for lighting and the photo booth. David was professional, organized, detail-oriented and timely. He offered great suggestions for the ceremony, reception timeline and music. He addressed all my questions quickly and with detailed responses. I planned my own wedding and David really helped guide me in the whole process.

We asked David for a short, lighthearted ceremony and it was executed wonderfully! He added personal details and humor to our ceremony which we really enjoyed.

The uplighting and texture lighting looked amazing! Our photo booth pictures were put into a book and signed by our guests which was a great idea! Even better than our sign-in book!

Our guests danced all night! David knew how to read the crowd and play songs to keep people on the dance floor.

David is dedicated to his profession. He is the kind of person you want to hire for such an important event such as a wedding. I highly recommend Sound Wave Mobile DJ!

We hired David for our wedding DJ and he was absolutely amazing!!!. He was very calm and professional even when we had last minute changes on the day of our wedding. He went with the flow of the crowed and followed our suggested song list and added like music to fill up open spots. We got the package with uplifting, monogram and photo booth. We used the open air photo booth and it was AMAZING as was the attendant. She was very helpful and went to get us props to use if we forgot any. The up lighting was perfect for the venue and the monogram looked great!! I am so happy that we found David he made our day that much more magical!!!

David is really easy to work with! He was so helpful in planning the flow of the wedding and had lots of helpful tips. He made it clear he would do whatever we asked for but also offered advice when we weren't sure about what we wanted. On the day of he was great, very professional and kept things running smoothly. Our guests loved the music and would not leave the dance floor all night!! He was quick to pack up at the end, which our venue appreciated as their coordinator got to take off a little early since everything was done. I would absolutely recommend David, he was everything we could ask for in a DJ.

David DJ'd my wedding this month. It was the best day of my life and his services were a big part of it. A lot of people told me that they loved the music choises. It was calmer at dinner, and then ramped up as the night went on. We didn't think people would dance at our wedding, but it turned out that people were dancing until they turned the lights on. We and our guests had so much fun! One of the guests even asked me for the DJ's contact info the week after the wedding to use for another event.

People loved the photobooth and we love looking at the pics. When were were taking pictures outside during cocktail hour, we could hear everyone laughing and having fun inside in the photobooth.

The uplighting added nice ambiance to the evening and I'm glad we had it.

We were on a budget, and Sound Wave was one of the less expensive DJ options. I am so glad we went with them because I think we got a wedding that looked expensive but at a lower price.

David also has a lot of ideas of fun games that you can do to get the guests involved in the reception. We didn't do many of them, but it they seem like they would be fun for the right crowd.

We hired David as our MC/DJ and run our photobooth for our wedding in August 2016 and he and his team were amazing to work with. David is the consummate professional and attentive to every single aspect of the wedding. His website for music selection was very easy to use, he constantly checked in with us and walked through the timeline and music selection well in advance. He was very flexible with us on how we wanted our photos to look for the photobooth and re-did the template several times to make it perfect. He even went all the way to Petaluma to scout out our venue and came back with the perfect uplighting recommendations for the barn. I couldn't recommend David more and definitely look forward to working with him again in the future.

David was great to work with and made our reception a lot of fun. He was very responsive and has many different package types which was great and worked with me to modify the package we originally selected. He also worked with me to incorporate a custom monogram I had created and used it for the projection and on our photobooth strip. He is extremely organized and has an online planner where you can log into fill in information and select songs to be played. I recommend getting a package with the photobooth, there were tons of signs and fun props and the quality of the photobooth strips were great. David was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend all of his services!

David did a wonderful job at our wedding. Everyone in the wedding had a great time. David was being very flexible from arranging different kinds of lighting, monogram on the wall, setting up photobooth through out the night, to songs. Everything was with schedule and David was able to play some Spanish music because my husband is from Colombia. David did a phenomenon job as both the MC and DJ for our wedding on August 21, 2015, we could not have been happier!!! Everyone enjoyed the day immensely :). David made our special day more memorable than we could possibly dream of.

Being a musician, my then fiancé had a list of sentimental recordings that he wanted to play and also a song he wanted to surprise me with. Not only was that a major undertaking, David only had a few days notice to work out all the knots. David worked with him seamlessly, and as a result the night went so flawlessly.

We love the music and vibe that he projected and everyone complimented on the DJ services. Highly recommend David, one of our best investments!!!

David was our DJ for Wedding Ceremony + Reception. We had a mix of cultures and different age groups which he took account of and made sure everyone had a good time. Communication with him was incredible and the online planner was a great help for me to stay on track. I had a few last minute changes which he accommodated with no problem. Everyone had a blast at the photo booth and his assistant was awesome and very attentive. If I had to recommended David as their DJ, I would do it in a heart beat.

We recently had the pleasure to work with David for our wedding, we used his DJ & photobooth services. David is extremely professional, organized, and a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive to all our emails, including my last minute request for a surprise wedding performance by me and my groomsmen! It was a smooth, easy process to choose and set up our wedding music through direct communication with David as well as his very convenient, helpful web GUI (graphical user interface).

His experience working with various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and their traditional customs helps immensely in communicating expectations and understanding the flow of events. We just got married a little over a week ago and had David as our DJ for the ceremony, cocktail hour & the reception. We couldnt have been happier! First of all, the planning process of picking songs & working on the timeline for the day of was made very easy working with David. He has a great set up on-line to help you organize your event & he was very flexible in making sure our specific needs were met. He also provided lots of suggestions in case you were stuck on ideas! Everything went smoothly on the day of & we didnt have to worry about a thing! The guests raved about what a good time they had & cant thank you enough David for being a part of our very special day! Highly recommend!

David and his dj services and photo booth services were above and beyond exceptional!! He made our wedding go perfectly with our timeline and everything went smooth. He spoke clearly over the mic and could always get the crowds attention. He made our wedding unforgettable! !! His final meeting before your big day really makes you not stress about any of the mc or music. The photo props were fun and unique and the quality of the booth was 5 stars! David was really in tune to what I wanted and even made suggestions for things I had no idea I had to do (e.g ring song). His website made it very easy to choose all the music I wanted and all the music I didn't. Everyone at the party said the music was awesome. Great experience.

He made sure to play the music we asked for and made sure that everyone had a great time. He even made sure that we didn't get to far behind on our schedule. The photo booth was fun and everyone had a blast. He allowed us to bring our own props as well and everything was returned back to us.

David did an amazing job DJ-ing our wedding! He kept the celebration going and he was also very responsible about making sure everything ran smoothly. As caught up as I was, he made sure to keep me informed of the night's events - making sure we were on schedule with everything (the cocktail hour music, the grand entrance, the first dance, cake music, flower toss... etc). He even let us create a special mix so my husband could perform a solo dance to Michael Jackson! Our guests also really enjoyed the Photobooth. We got a lot of good feedback! Thank you for being so wonderful and for making it an evening we will never forget. I would definitely recommend!

David is professional, reliable, fun to work with and an amazing DJ. He helped me create the perfect night for my wedding. Davide went out of his way to make my wedding be everything I wanted it to be. We had people dancing all night long and they are still talking about it! David has a way of keeping the pace of the wedding moving while still making each moment special. You can tell he has A LOT of experience with weddings. Did everything we wanted of him. Didn't want a DJ who makes a lot of off-handed comments and jokes and thankfully he was NONE of that. Very professional. Great speaking/announcing voice. Great value and pricing. Easy to work with. Very easy to mark which songs we wanted to get played on his online site.

David was absolutely amazing! We wanted to incorporate some of my Persian heritage into our reception and gave him a CD that he was able to mix seamlessly into the music. His website provided a timeline and music details that he worked with us to put together. We communicated mostly through phone and email, which was very convenient for me. He read our dance floor very well, mixing out music that wasn't getting a great response to keep the dance floor going. We received many compliments on the entertainment!

OH MY GOSH!!!!

We hired David to dj our wedding. Not only was I comfortable with him from day one but he made all of my dreams come true. Thanks to him my wedding was amazing. There was many hiccups that occured and he managed to get everything perfect so I wouldn't even notice. His music was amazing and he played everything my husband and I loved.

He accomadated to our schedule and kept the music running until 1am. All of my friends and family had an amazing time on the dance floor.

I wish we could do it all over again!!!!

Finding a DJ that could provide the right mix of Portuguese and American music was very important to us for our Half Moon Bay wedding. Well, we came to the right place when we met David. From the moment we met him we were at ease knowing that the music portion of our wedding would be in great hands. We chose the option to include the photobooth and that was the best decision because our guests LOVED it! A few weeks before the wedding my fiance and I still hadn't picked all our music and David called us and helped us choose everything and create a timeline which I really needed help with He gave us great ideas but never pushed anything on us. His service of helping us pick everything and figure all the logistics out with our caterer and photographer is something that I am very greatful for. The day of the wedding David and his staff (his family) were AMAZING! He had music playing when the guests arrived, he announced our bridal party, introduced our caterer who came around to let people know they could get their food. David also told my husband and I when we would be doing our first dance, when we would cut the cake and other events. David's wife and daughter were very professional when helping guests with the photobooth. They provided all the props you could imagine and even gave us copies of all the photos in a very cute album. We were able to pick the background of the pictures too. David also created our own monogram that we had. David also provided uplighting which really set the mood. My husband and I have had people come up to us even today to tell us how amazing our wedding was and how awesome the music and photobooth were! David and his family's services are the reason why our wedding was such a hit. Thank you David!!

David was the best DJ we could have asked for. I was a bit weary trusting internet reviews, but I'm so glad we did. From the start, David was very quick to respond to our questions and requests. He went above and beyond what I expected and took the time to answer all of our questions and talk on the phone. Never did we feel rushed, put off, or wasting his time.

I was very impressed with our pre-wedding meeting where he created our reception timeline. That was one item I was struggling with on my own, but with his expertise and experience he made the timeline with ease and sent it out that night! Even though the reception night didn't follow the plan exactly, David silently made updates that were not noticeable to guests and made sure nothing felt rushed!

The photobooth was amazing. It was in use all night long! I'm so glad we opted for it because we have great photo memories!

We were all so impressed with David's service. I even had guests tell me days after the wedding that they thought he was a great DJ for keeping the flow, playing great music, and a keeping solid timeline!

Finding a good DJ was very important to us..to find someone that would understand what music we wanted for our Catholic wedding and would be easy to work with. We found all that in David and much more. From the first time we met him, all the way to the reception, we felt we could trust him completely and felt so assured by his calmness. He understood exactly what we wanted and made us feel like ours was the most important wedding. Everything went so smoothly and after all the crazy wedding planning it was so nice to have someone who made everything easy and stress free because he was so professional. Let me just start off by saying that David is the ultimate professional! From the first email I sent him up until the day of the event David was extremely responsive and courteous. My now wife and I were always comfortable with David and never felt that we had to worry whether he knew what he was doing because it was obvious that he did. What is also impressive about David's services are their value. David offers a number of great packages but will work with you to make sure you get exactly what you want for a reasonable price. I would recommend talking to him about lighting, photobooth, etc. because you will end up saving a ton of money. David's performance the day of our wedding was nothing short of excellent. Everything was right on schedule and he was comfortable making changes if necessary (changes we communicated to him). He is very well spoken and speaks a few different languages as well. But most importantly, he knows how to get the party going and going and going. We had a pretty long reception but there were people dancing from the start all the way to the end. In short, I would highly recommend David for your next event. If you want someone who can do more than just play music at your event he is your man, you will not be disappointed. Remember, the DJ is possibly the most important vendor for your event as they keep your guests entertained and keep the event on schedule.

David was an awesome DJ and MC for my wedding. I had no idea what I was doing, and he gave me excellent advice for planning my day. David worked with me on a timeline and made sure everything I wanted to have happen that day did. Planning a wedding is chaotic and David understood that and was patient with me the entire time. When my wedding day came, he kept me and the party on track, he was always polite and accomodating when unexpected things occurred. From the beginning all my husband and I wanted was to throw a great party, and David made it happen. Everyone had a blast and months later we're still getting compliments on how awesome our wedding was. Thank you so much David for making our day perfect!

David Gomes is the best wedding DJ I have ever seen. From the first meeting we had a year before the wedding to our wedding day he was so involved and very professional. He always responded quickly and had such great ideas to make our wedding reception flow smoothly. With him running the reception all my wife and I had to do was enjoy the time with our family and guests. His music selection was awesome. He orchestrated the "shoe game" and the "anniversary dance" which everyone really enjoyed. The lighting and monogram he provided added that extra touch that made the ballroom look amazing. The photobooth was an absolute hit. Our guests could not get enough of the photobooth. David provided a large variety of props that let our guests be as goofy or serious as they wanted to be. He also provided us with a scrapbook and cd of all the pictures our guests took in the booth. We still laugh every time we look at those photos. Our family and friends complimented David on how much fun our reception was. Our wedding would not have been the same if it wasn't for David. If you are getting married soon you better hurry up and book him because if he is busy and can't do your wedding you will totally regret it.

David is more than a 5-star professional of his trade. He puts his heart and best effort into the preparation and the event itself that it shows on the event day. Other than the good qualities he is being rated on, I found David to be courteous, attentive, and just a pleasure to work with when the couple has so much on their minds. He would gently remind you about the timeline when programs go off-track, or check with you that additional time was necessary for the guests to finish at the photo booth. His photo booth also has the best variety of crops that I have seen in the market so far, and we really like the white background inside the booth. He and his assistants dressed nicely and were very polite and cheerful. We are happy to recommend him to any event anytime. With David's DJ services and photo booth, EVERYBODY ENJOYED THEMSELVES at our wedding banquet held at a classy Chinese restaurant! Thank you, Daivd, for being there for us!

David was truly amazing. He is a true professional and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our wedding day was both memorable and fun. David is VERY attentive and detail-oriented. I was looking for a DJ for our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary Party and I am so thrilled I found David of Sound Wave Mobile DJ. Finding and hiring DJ David Gomes of Sound Wave Mobile DJ was truly a blessing! Every aspect of the wedding and planning was perfect. After the initial consultation, David was on the phone with us, sending emails, and we even met in person a few times when we still had questions or concerns. He was always easy to get a hold of and worked with us around our schedule for the planning of our wedding. He allowed so many options in the packages he offers. We opted for a Monogram and Uplighting. Both were spectacular and created a wonderful atmosphere. On the wedding day, David and his assistant handled the MC and DJ beautifully. Every part of the reception was well organized, on time, and flowed wonderfully. Everyone had a good time and loved the music selection, which we left up to David to provide for us. We were so impressed with David and his professionalism, we decided to only have a few extra requests and left control of everything else up to David. He did not disappoint! We only wish we had used him to provide the photo booth as well (we had already hired a vendor before meeting with David). David did an awesome job as our DJ/MC at our wedding last weekend. He gave us a very good first impression at our initial meeting. He is extremely organized and very professional. Pricing is very reasonable compared to several other DJs we looked into. We highly recommend David if you're looking for a true professional to DJ your next event!
PLANNING PROCESS: David was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. He was very prompt and thorough with all correspondence through email. He also provided us with valuable advice and suggestions for our wedding reception. The online planner was awesome! It allows you to fill in every little detail about your event. It includes a database where you can browse through all of his music and make specific song selections. Even when David was experiencing a tough family situation, he still made time for us one week before our wedding in scheduling a phone meeting to go over the final schedule and details of our wedding. We had our reception at Travis AFB and he was willing to come up the Friday before our wedding to deal with base access and checking out the venue.
WEDDING DAY: David did an amazing job working with us to keep everything running smoothly and on schedule. The music during our reception was perfect. His expertise in song selection helped set the perfect tone during cocktail hour and dinner. During dancing, David was very attuned to our guests in order to make the appropriate song selections to keep everyone on the dance floor. He did a fantastic job with all of the announcements and introductions. His voice is very clear and professional sounding. The uplighting David set up around the reception hall added the perfect decorative touch. It was simple, but beautiful at the same time whether the lights were fully on or dimmed for dancing.

David was our DJ/MC for our wedding this last weekend. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

During the planning stage, his online planner was extremely organized and going through it even helped us plan our wedding. He's easy to get a hold of if you have any questions and super super professional and accommodating. We did a lot of research and for the quality of services and equipment he provides, you seriously can't get any better. He's done so many weddings that if you have an idea for something you want, he knows exactly how to execute it without having to explain a lot.

During the wedding, the music was timed perfectly and it was the selection was amazing. Many guests raved that it was the best wedding playlist they've ever experienced. Also, we've been to many weddings where the crowd got out of hand. Not to worry with David... although we had a very large wedding, his commanding voice kept the attention focused on the speeches and performance. Also, we had many complex program changes during the reception and he was able to handle all of that with ease. My guests and bride enjoyed the music so much that by the end of the night my bride was even break-dancing in her wedding dress!

Highly, highly recommended. I hope that in the future, we'll have the opportunity to enjoy a wedding as a guest with David as the DJ/MC.

What can I say about David of Sound Wave Mobile DJ Service? Our wedding reception was a huge success and our guests all had a fantastic time, thanks to the professionalism of our DJ. Our wedding was at a beautiful garden location in Saratoga - Hakone Gardens. The ceremony and reception were right next to each other about 50 feet apart. David had all the right equipment to make the audio aspect of our wedding perfect. He even mic'ed the groom and had mics for the ceremony. At the reception, the music played was fantastic and everyone was shaking thangs' and having a great time. David played everything from classic soul, to modern pop (Beiber, as we requested), to line dancing when our aunties hit the dance floor to Achy Breaky Heart. Hilarious!!

David comes equipped with games for the guests to play. We played "pass the dollar" and a copy the kissing game that went off really well. David's emceeing works so well because he is so professional but can get the crowd going. We were only completely satisfied by David's service. His rate is sooo reasonable for all his professionalism and dedication to his performance. We'll definitely consider him again for any large parties we plan in the future . David was fabulous to work with and we highly recommend his services. He is very professional and has a great voice that sounded wonderful at the wedding. He worked with us on the price due to our budget and was extremely helpful when we were reviewing the draft itinerary of the wedding to make small tweaks. He moved the wedding along, followed our itinerary and adjusted accordingly when things didn't go as planned. We had a DIY wedding and made a lot of the decorations, cupcakes, etc. We used many sentimental items to make the decorations. During the cocktail hour, we had David periodically describe what was made, what was sentimental. Guest commented to me that it made the wedding really special to know the details of what was handmade and the sentiment.

There are plenty of DJs out there that can set up a few speakers and play some music. For your big day, don't you want more than just competent though? David went beyond what we were expecting by helping out with the planning beforehand and coordinating on the day of the event. As with any big event, there were a lot of little issues that popped up, and I noticed that David kept fixing stuff on the side without being asked. You really get the feeling that he cares as much as you do that everything goes well, even if it means doing a thing or 2 outside of his job description. I can't recommend him enough.
