The perfect touch to our ceremony
I could not recommend Sound Solutions of WNY enough! I had Laura and David play piano and cello for my wedding ceremony, and it was absolutely beautiful. They also provided two microphones for us to use, which made everything flow so smoothly. From start to finish, they were a dream to work with—prompt in answering questions, accommodating with my song choices, and so seamless in their transitions between pieces. I didn’t even notice them coming or going, yet their music added the most magical touch to our ceremony. Truly such a beautiful and effortless experience!

I would absolutely recommend Laura and her team for anyone’s wedding or event. The pricing was extremely fair. Not only was Laura our DJ at the reception, but also a string duet played before the ceremony and Laura played piano during cocktail hour. The string duet played our first dance song as I walked down the aisle and it was executed flawlessly. It was a really nice touch. They have a lot of popular songs that they can play as well. Laura was very professional and always responded quickly. She did a great job at the reception, playing a great mix of songs and being conscious of the crowd’s energy and what kept people dancing. There is honestly no reason not to book with Laura and Sound Solutions! I am so happy we did!

We cannot recommend Laura highly enough as a wedding DJ! From start to finish, she brought professionalism, warmth, and an incredible sense of timing and style to our big day. Every musical detail was thoughtfully executed, and her ability to coordinate all the moving parts made everything flow effortlessly.
Our ceremony began with the classic beauty of organ music in the church. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to live string music creating an elegant and relaxed atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the evening.
During the reception, Laura truly shined. Not only was she a fantastic DJ who knew exactly how to read the room and keep the dance floor full, but she was also a behind-the-scenes coordinator who made the entire night run smoothly. She communicated clearly and consistently.
Her presence was the perfect balance of professional and personable — guiding the evening with warmth, energy, and attention to detail. She made announcements with grace, kept the timeline on track, and curated a playlist that blended our personal taste with songs that kept guests dancing all night.

The Best Choice Ever!
We don’t even know where to begin. Sound Solutions of WNY, Laura, was literally amazing and hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day.
From the moment we first reached out, she was warm, professional, and genuinely excited to help make our day unforgettable. Laura made sure to communicate what songs were important to use and learned new ones, to play live on piano, just for our wedding! What makes her so unique is the incredible combination of live piano talent for the ceremony and top tier DJ skills for the reception, it’s the best of both worlds! Which is what we were looking for with our wedding.
During our ceremony, the live piano music brought actual tears to our eyes (and many of our guests too). It was so elegant, heartfelt, and perfectly timed. Then, at the reception, Laura switched gears seamlessly into DJ mode and got the party started! Her song choices were impeccable, the energy was electric, and she was able to read the crowd like a true pro. She also handled all the microphones for the ceremony and speeches which put my nerves at ease!
People are still talking about how amazing the music was and the vibe of the wedding. Honestly, we can’t thank her enough for helping to create such magical moments.
If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Book them. Right now. You will not regret it.

You won’t go wrong with Sound Solutions!
Laura was excellent. We used Sound Solutions for our ceremony music, cocktail hour string trio, and our DJ. Although she had a lot to juggle, including our detailed requests and song lists, she did a wonderful job. And, the pricing was incredibly reasonable. Laura reached out to our venue to ensure a smooth setup and break down as well as to our church to make sure things would be smooth.

Incredible music from the ceremony to the dance floor
Leading up to the wedding, Laura was very responsive to our emails and asked questions after we submitted our music requests to ensure she had the right materials.
She got to our venue super early to set up and make sure everything was set!
Laura performed on the keyboard during our ceremony with our chosen songs, “Skinny Love” and “Somewhere Only We Know.” After we got married and were about to walk back down the aisle, the Bluetooth unfortunately shorted out (not her fault) and the song we requested to play could not play. Laura immediately hopped onto the keyboard and made a smooth transition for us to get back down the aisle!
When the wedding party was introduced at the reception, she made sure to take the time to learn how to pronounce everyone’s name correctly and even stalled for us while I got my dress bustled.
Laura kept the timeline on track during our intros, first dance, cake cutting, and speeches.
She seamlessly mixed our song requests for the dancing part of the night with guest requests and general crowd pleasers. She got everyone dancing!
When we were first planning our wedding, we thought we could skip out on a dj to save money and just make a playlist. My advice - don’t do that. The night would not have moved along without Laura. She is absolutely worth the price.

Laura did a fantastic job playing piano during our ceremony and cocktail hour. She also provided DJ services for dancing. She took the time to learn new songs for the ceremony, visited the Botanical Gardens ahead of time to confirm the setup, and made sure all of our song requests were played! Our family and friends gave us many compliments on the music, and we're grateful that we chose Laura for our special day.

Laura, Sarah, and Dave are incredibly talented! Our wedding guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed the ceremony and cocktail hour music. There is something to be said about live music and a wedding ceremony, they did an absolutely beautiful job.
Leading up to the wedding, all of our questions were answered timely. We even had a last minute song request that Laura was able to add to the set list. Wedding planning can be stressful. Laura made everything easy and was incredibly professional.

Violinist & Cello duo wedding ceremony

Fairytale like Magic!
Laura was beyond amazing! She was able to perform my wedding ceremony, as I dreamed it, in less then a months notice! Everyone that attended could not stop raving about the music being played before and during our ceremony! Some even became Swifties because of the “beautiful music played”! She and her team worked with us on songs we requested, learned them in such a short time and made what is meant to be the most special day in someone’s life, just that, beyond special and one of a kind! Unique and Incredible Experience!
Laura and Sound Solutions made my dream wedding come true! I used Laura as the DJ for my reception and also retained her services for the ceremony and cocktail hour. She played piano and brought a cello player. The musicians learned every rock and Disney song I requested and played so beautifully. My guests were in awe and my fiancé and I still talk about how it was the best part of the evening and made our ceremony extra special. As for the DJing, I was overwhelmed the week of the wedding and failed to give her directions and a clear song list yet she worked on the spot to make sure everything ran smoothly, pulled songs as requested and kept up with the flow of the night to keep the dance floor energy flowing. Wow! I can’t say enough great things about Laura and her co-musicians! She was open to adding a few songs to their repertoire for our wedding day, Laura allowed my niece sing along to one song with a microphone that was provided. I completely forgot to leave a visual queue for the music to start during the procession through the park (brain scramble) and Laura just made it happen. My only regret is that I didn’t have someone record my walk out song (we had a no phone rule) because it was SO beautiful! They played everything from Taylor Swift to classical to Michael McDonald, Nirvana, Radiohead. The music (volume) was a subtle, perfect addition to our garden dinner party. Our entire party was VERY impressed and went on and on about how special it was.

I hired Sound Solutions of WNY for my wedding and I was extremely pleased with the service. They responded quickly to my emails and gave a nice questionnaire to help organize/plan what I needed.
Sarah played the violin during my ceremony and did a wonderful job. I had a very specific request to do Disney songs and she was able to do all the songs that I requested, and my guests were able to recognize the songs.
Laura played her piano during the cocktail hour and was also the DJ for the reception. Laura was clear when talking on the microphone, provided lights for the dance floor, played all must play songs, and was unobtrusive once the music started, which I really appreciated. She also had a QR code on the tables, so guests could requests songs without having to come up to her, which I thought was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend Sound Solutions of WNY for any of your DJ/music needs.

A great value and experience for the package
I booked a full event package with Laura through Sound Solutions - she played piano, accompanied by a violinist, for the ceremony and cocktail hour and then DJed the rest of the night. Laura was very responsive to my emails and accommodating to my vision for the night - i wanted movie soundtracks during the ceremony and she learned several new piano / violin songs just for my ceremony. I had a friend record some short videos before I walked in and she sounded great! Everyone said the music was really fun. As a DJ, I wanted someone low key and Laura did a great job. Highly recommend to anyone looking to hire a single amazing professional for the whole day, and I believe it was a great value.

Sound solutions was amazing at my wedding! There was constant movement on the dance floor and all the guests love the eclectic mix of music. Laura was soooooo great to work with!! She had the best price in Buffalo, was very professional, sweet, and has awesome communication skills. She was quick to respond to all of our questions during the planning process. We gave her a very minimal “must have” and “do not play” list, and what she gave us was PERFECT! She watched the room and made sure to keep everyone on the floor and having a great time. A number of our guests, including my husband and I, were trained dancers, and she kept us dancing the whole evening! We really enjoyed having her with us :)

Laura was receptive to my ideas and found ways to accommodate songs outside the mainstream while still making everything beautiful. Very reasonable price and exceptionally nice person. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. A must hire.

If you're looking for the best, stop scrolling!
I’d like to start what I imagine will be a fairly lengthy review by summarizing that Sound Solutions of WNY is absolutely incredible! Laura covers all the bases- she’s talented, communicative, trustworthy, kind, affordable, and all the other qualities you hope to find in your search for the right fit! That being said, she is so much more than that alone and will seriously go above and beyond for you in every way imaginable.
We had a vision for certain moments during our wedding that were special to us, as every couple does! One of the biggest was blending a traditional processional song with a song that held special meaning to us, we wanted it to be played as I walked down the aisle! We were working with a musician who had overbooked herself and had to drop us, we were devastated. So we put in the time and work to find a new musician! He was nice but the communication wasn’t there and in the end we paid for a song we wouldn’t use and felt more defeated than ever. Enter Laura- I shared our experience with her and without hesitation she was ready to help! She wanted to understand exactly what we did and didn’t like, she called, she videoed, she sent samples, she checked in, she worked with our remaining budget… she brought the excitement back and in the end created something so much more beautifully perfect than we ever even imagined. (Also she sent three different versions for us to choose from with an emphasis that if any weren’t “the one” she would change anything we needed, I mean when I say above and beyond I mean above and BEYOND!) I’ve never felt so seen and heard and I’ve certainly never felt so emotional writing a review!
I’m the type of person who lists out all of my choices in a spreadsheet and weighs the pros and cons and I can say with absolute full confidence that there is no other musician like Laura, she is one of a kind in the most wonderful way and if you’re scrolling reviews endlessly looking for the right fit and are seeing this- I promise you Sound Solutions of WNY is the right choice.

Ceremony Music
We hired a piano and cello for our ceremony. The music was beautiful and Laura was great to work with. They have a very nice repertoire list and even invited us to request any favorite songs of ours that were not on the list.

Best dj ever!
I hired Laura after seeing her work another wedding, and I really liked her style! Working with her was a breeze and she made everything so easy on us. She is super detailed oriented, very communicative and is extremely professional. On the day of she did a great job at making announcements, reading the room and the vibe, and overall just making the party come to life. Not only is she amazing at her job, but she is just one of the kindest people you will meet - she really just wants to make your day amazing!

Ceremony musicians and DJ were incredible!
I hired Sound Solutions of WNY for my wedding over three years ago, the wedding ended up being postponed THREE times due to COVID and Laura was absolutely incredible with her flexibility and understanding. We were able to have a violinist and cellist for the ceremony and cocktail hour, as well as having Laura as the DJ for the reception. It was the perfect combination, the ceremony music was sweet and classic, and the DJ had everyone dancing all night long. Highly recommend!

Laura was great to work with, especially during the pandemic. We met with Laura before the ceremony and went over the music. My husband and I liked this meeting because we got to meet Laura and choose our music. We would definitely hire Sound Solutions again! I couldn't have thank Lauren enough. She was responsive, detailed. She met over zoom first and sent me a questiinair. She took last minute request and helped me find an amazing guitarist and ukulele player. She helped the timing and worked well with my photographer and caterer to make the day go smooth as possible. We used Laura for our full catholic mass and she brought along two string players and the music was absolutely beautiful!!! We got compliments all day long about how beautiful Laura sounded singing and how amazing the music was. It truly added to our day!! Laura was so great to work with, always very quick to respond and so friendly. They even learned our first dance song to play during our mass two weeks before the wedding and it sounded absolutely gorgeous. I cannot recommend Laura enough!

The best Pianist!!
Laura is amazing! Our previous pianist went M.I.A and we needed to find someone else. Laura was responsive, kind, and worked with us as we could only meet on certain days due to us living downstate. We were inspired by Bridgerton's take on making modern songs classic and Laura was able to make that happen for us using songs we selected. We also requested to have the songs saved for us so we can have them forever and she created a youtube video of the ceremony songs.
Laura went above and beyond and helped in making our wedding day memorable! Choose her, you won't regret it!

Fantastic soundtrack for our wedding day!
Laura provides live piano music for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and DJ’d/emceed our reception. She is a talented musician and a skilled and professional DJ/emcee. Laura did an amazing job of performing and selecting music for our ceremony and reception. She was so patient and flexible with Last minute changes and decision-making and was SO prepared for our outdoor event when it rained unexpectedly! She was able to create the exact vibe that we wanted for the ceremony and reception and was so gracious with our guests’ excessive song requests! I received so much positive feedback from our guests about how awesome Laura was and how quickly she played songs that were requested. I was also pleased with her ability to play all of my must-have songs throughout the night!
Being a wedding in the time of COVID, Laura was safe and courteous throughout the event and even provided clean mic covers for each of our speech-givers — something we never would have thought about!

Best Decision of the Day!
Choosing Laura from Sound Solutions of WNY to DJ our wedding was one of the best decisions we made for our August 2020 wedding! Her organization and expertise eased all of our worries, making everything so easy on us. She guided us through the reception timeline, including the cocktail hour and dance music playlists, the wedding party intro songs, making the announcements for speeches and for dinner, and everything in between. She was professional, reliable, flexible and responsive. Laura had everyone dancing the entire night, and guests raved about her. They took care of everything
Laura and her team were fantastic. She had worked with the venue before which was a huge plus and took away some of the “day of” stress. The cellist and violinist for the ceremony were beautiful and added the right touch to the ceremony. Laura coordinated it all and it was seamless. The customization of the music for each part of the wedding/reception allowed us to control the feel and ambience of the night. Guests complimented the music at the end of the night! Laura was adept at reading the crowd and kept the dance floor going for the entire night. I would definitely recommend them!

Amazing! Laura was awesome.
We hired Laura for our wedding at the Science Museum last September. For the ceremony, we had violin and keyboard and it was absolutely perfect. We hired Sound Solutions for our wedding day, and was so pleased with Laura’s service. She was prompt in reply to e-mails, and showed up on the day with no issue. She put together a playlist for our ceremony with songs that we picked. She helped hook up our officiant to be heard for the entire wedding service! Laura was very accommodating to all song requests, and patient to all my guest changing genre preferences throughout the night. She even curated our entire cocktail hour! She worked with our friend who played his guitar and sang our first dance song and our anniversary dance song. I highly recommend this company!

Laura did an amazing job from ceremony to reception. She lead the walking cues for the ceremony, provided a live violinist for the ceremony with a personally curated playlist, live pianist and violinist for part of the reception and of course her great DJ skills. I loved working with Laura at Sound Solutions! She was so professional and considerate! We were planning a wedding out of state and she worked with our schedule to meet in person before the wedding, and communicated in a timely manner over email. She was really organized and thought to ask us about every detail to make sure our day was what we had in mind. She had a variety of different price points for different packages to accommodate your budget and taste. We used her for live piano and cello during the ceremony and as the DJ for dancing later in the evening. Everything was beautiful. Laura was absolutely amazing! She not only played piano (and we hired a violinist through her to play with her) but she also played music after the live music was done. She also MC'ed. We didn't even think of how important her role would be but she stood up to it and went above and beyond our expectations! Sound Soulutions was affordable, professional, kind, understanding, helpful, and an all around GREAT choice for my husband and I on our wedding day. It was never frustrating to meet with Laura, even amid so much chaotic planning. She was a breath of fresh air.

Give Laura a try! She was amazing to work with! Everyone loved her from the start with her playing the piano for the ceremony, through cocktail hour with her playing the piano and singing beautifully and into the evening being a DJ all night. She was absolutely the best! All in one package!
She also had an incredible amount of patience for me while I was overwhelmed and acting crazy and scatter-brained!

Laura did an outstanding job for our wedding! She was amazing to work with and made everything easy. We worked with her to schedule strings for our ceremony, The Blues Brothers band for our cocktail hour/dinner and then the Sound System for the dancing. Laura also did a wonderful job coordinating the entire evening. The strings and The Blues Brothers even learned music per our request. The entire music entertainment for the wedding exceeded our expectations! We heard from many many guests who raved about the music and how much fun they had. We would highly recommend Sound Solutions for your wedding!

Laura was amazing to work with! I was clueless at what to play for each portion of the mass and she was so helpful with the planning. She was able to sing and play me each song sample. It was unbelievable! She's so very talented! She made my ceremony truly unforgettable!! I highly recommended her!

Laura was the very best and we couldn't be happier with her services !!! She even found us the most absolutely amazing violinist for our ceremony, just thinking about it makes me cry again! Laura was extremely responsive and professional, she made me feel so comfortable and taken care of as a bride. I received multiple compliments on the cocktail hour music - everything was so lovely. Laura was so incredible from beginning to end. We hadn't been to a lot of weddings so she walked us through the process step by step. We had specific requests and she took all on board, even learning a new song for our ceremony. We hadn't a chance to meet her until the wedding day but she was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. I can't thank her enough for her professionalism, thoughtfulness and care to our ceremony. The guests even came up and said that she was the best they had seen in any wedding. We would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Laura did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding ceremony. I received numerous compliments on how beautiful her voice was and how much they enjoyed listening to her on the piano. We had met with her a few months before the wedding to review our song choices but a week before the wedding I decided that I wanted to change the bridal processional to something that she had not done before. She assured me that she would be able to play it and that it was no problem. Sure enough she played the song as if she had played it a million times before and I loved it! I would recommend Sound Solutions to anyone. Laura does amazing work and was very accommodating to what my husband and I were looking for.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laura! My husband and I went into this not knowing what we wanted, at all, and Laura kindly guided us through the planning stage. She was always responsive (even to our photographer), kept us well informed and was extremely professional. AND THEN... the reception... Laura is a saint! She handled every single issue (not with her, with the venue), made quick decisions when I brilliantly responded to all questions with "Umm, I don't know.", and sincerely understood our family dynamic like a pro. Some of the day is a blur as it went by so fast but I do remember her constantly being on the ball and handling things that I probably should have had answers for. Laura also did our ceremony music, playing an organ, and it was perfect! She had wonderful suggestions and was extremely flexible, she even offered to learn songs we may want if she hadn't performed them before. Bottom line: Hire this company, you will not regret it. The prices are phenomenal as well! We were blessed to find Laura and her company.

Working with Laura was amazing, from start to finish. She is sheer perfection. I had so ideas for our wedding, that I overwhelmed myself. Laura was able calm me down, organize music, provide suggestions - all with the sort of calm that I needed. My guests raved about her!!! She kept the momentum going, and people moving on the dance floor. I would highly recommend her for any sort of party where you are looking for music. She was kind enough to bring her piano, and allow my brother (aka my minister) to play, as well as my 5 year old great-nephew. Then came the Karaoke. Amazing. The guests were having a great time. It brought me great joy to see that. Thank you Laura!!!!! We will call you when we renew our vows!!! :-)

Laura played the music for our wedding ceremony and she was absolutely fabulous! She helped us pick our songs since my husband an I were unsure of what we wanted and she was extremely patient with me since I took a while to set up my appointment with her and come back with what we wanted. Highly recommend!!

Laura was absolutely amazing. She was easy to work with and took the time to find out what music would best suit our reception. I could not have asked for a better music selection. After the reception, several guests let me know how much they enjoyed the music. I would very highly recommend her.

Laura from Sound Solutions was awesome! She actually was the DJ for my sisters wedding and everyone had a blast. My sister and parents were so pleased with her, so when I was planning my wedding I knew she was the DJ I wanted. Laura did a fantastic job from start to finish. I hired her to play the piano at my ceremony (totally worth it!)... my guest are still talking about how lovely the music was before, during and after our ceremony. Laura then played the piano during my cocktail hour and added vocals... it was beautiful. Seemlessly she moved into DJ mode and the night went perfect. The one thing I wanted my wedding to be was FUN -with the dance floor full...Laura kept my guests on the dance floor and we all had so much fun. Laura works with you and does it the way you want it. She helped me create the wedding party introduction that fit my wedding parties personality. Everything went smoothly and I highly recommend her!

We were elated that we chose Laura at Sound Solutions for the most moving wedding ceremony of our dreams and a cocktail hour that set the tone for a night to remember. From the moment we contacted Laura, we were blown away by her seasoned experience and quick, helpful, and thorough responses to our questions. Laura spent time going above and beyond to share her professional expertise and extensive repertoire along the way. When it came to executing this beautiful set, Laura was not only a phenomenal pianist and vocalist, but was extremely well connected to the community to offer us a seamlessly coordinated counter part with the beautiful sounds of cellist, David Meyer. She quickly accommodated accompaniment to family friend who sang as well. On the day of our wedding, she was extremely well prepared for our outdoor venue with excellent sound equipment and arrived well ahead of time. This incredible duo moved both my husband and I to tears as we heard the first notes of our custom arrangement floating through the wind and the trees as I walked down the aisle. We are so glad we captured the ceremony on film so that we can enjoy how it came together for years to come. Laura was absolutely amazing. She provided music for the ceremony, she even had access to a cellist who also played at the church. She then provided the cocktail hour music on the piano and had our guests dancing the night away on the dance floor. Laura was quick to respond to any email/phone call. Laura was the musician at our ceremony and I could not be happier with our selection of using Sound Solutions! Laura was so professional, responsive, flexible and gave great advice and song selections to use. She is willing to work with you with whatever type of music you want played at your venue. She was able to capture our personalities in each of her music suggestions and put together a truly special program for our wedding. Laura is a talented musician; her voice is amazing.
