Everything I wanted

Anthony was very detailed and helpful from start to finish! He really took the time to show all of the options he had and answer any questions. The planning form/song list is super helpful and I haven't seen that kind of tool from many other DJs. He also cut my ceremony songs and played them exactly the way they needed to be to line up with each part (and I had several songs that I wanted different clips from but he did it exactly how I wanted it)! The dinner and dance music/songs were exactly what I wanted as well!

Anthony was awesome to work with!

When we met with him the first time we knew he was gonna be awesome! He did the music, lightening, kept the wedding going, interacted with the crowd, and helped with dress rehearsal! He was always available and became a friend through it all!! I would highly recommend him!!

Sound Services DJ Entertainment did a wonderful job with our wedding reception! Anthony provided great communication and guidance in our planning, was very quick to respond to our questions, and he handed off to our wonderful DJ for the night, Michael Delaney. Michael was fast, attentive, and extremely helpful. We provided some songs we wanted and an itinerary for the night and SoundServices delivered exactly what we asked for and then some! Michael kept us looped in on important parts of the night and even helped set up some of the decorations. Thank you so much for making our night stress-free, fun, and magical. Sound Services DJ Entertainment provided great emceeing, great sound, great music, and great dance lighting/ambiance. It all made for a wonderful wedding reception.

Upon booking Anthony, he discussed all the services he offers. He was funny and entertaining, and very professional. He definitely knew what he was talking about. I knew we were going to book him before he finished his pitch about what all he offers! He was great with working around our schedule and had everything setup well before the reception started. Everything went off without a hitch! We had to move tables to make room for a dance floor, and Anthony helped with that. He also helped packing away tables at the end of the night. He kept the mood fun and upbeat the entire night. The uplighting he used was first class and gave the room a magical glow! The lighting really elevated the entire decor and made everything look phenomenal. He's just great. I can't say enough good things about him!

Anthony was AMAZING! There were some mishaps with the family entering and he worked through it flawlessly so no one noticed! He made the whole wedding and reception fun and stress free! We loved him! The projection for our monogram was awesome! Plus his set up is elegant!!! It was an amaZing New Year's Eve wedding.

Your DJ is either the life or the death of your reception (and ceremony). The DJ was our biggest investment for our special day. I am so glad we chose DJ entertainment sound services. Anthony and his team are so much more than just a disk jockey. They brought the party!! There wasn't a guest that didn't have their feet on the floor. All ages attented and everyone had a song to dance to and a reason to move their hips. I had so many compliments on our reception and I owe all of it to Anthony. Thanks again DJ ESS for a night that will never be forgotten!

Anthony was our DJ for our wedding and did an incredible job. He not only is very organized and has great music, but he kept our entire reception and ceremony running smoothly and in order. I'd recommend him to anyone!

I can not express enough the difference that a great DJ made for our wedding. The ceremony music and reception music, with lightening effects and announcements, kept everyone coordinated and entertained. Anthony was the best DJ ever. Very polite, well dressed, and respectful to everyone. Our reception was amazing because he knew how to get guests involved and have fun. Great services, can't thank them enough.

I cannot express more how pleased I was with Anthony as my DJ for my ceremony and reception. I had a DJ cancel last minute with 3 days before my big day. Anthony pulled everything together with less than 72 hours. He is very thorough with all details he makes it where your day is stress free. He did so much more than just play music he helped us coordinate the whole thing including cake cutting, dances and all. He does this all with passion not out of obligation. All of our guests complimented him how amazing he did. If you want a DJ that you can count on and knows what he is doing call him he is great!!

Anthony Lawrence was my DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely outstanding. I would recommend him to everyone looking for a DJ! He was at my rehearsal to make sure each song was perfect for all of our bridal party entrance and exits. At the wedding he made sure everyone at the reception had a great time! He always made sure to answer any questions I had and was very quick to respond. He helped make our wedding a dream come true. Excellent job. True professional!!

Money well spent, we got more than what we paid for by choosing him. He is the best around without a doubt! He isn't just a dj but a wedding coordinator. If you choose anyone but him, then expect to get subpar DJ service! I will choose him again for any events in the future. Anthony is simply the best! I can't say enough good things about him.

I was more than pleased with the services offered by Anthony during my wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. He went above and beyond to help and provide assistance in whatever way necessary throughout the entire thing. Anytime I had a question or needed assistance, he would reply to my messages quickly, and I always had my questions answered. I had many compliments from guests on how professional and fun Anthony was! I would recommend him 100x over to those looking for a DJ for their wedding or special event.

Anthony was very professional, prior to booking he answered all questions and even offered us valuable information we had not considered. On the wedding day, nothing went as planned because of the rain (it was an outdoor wedding) and Anthony was able to be flexible and make last minute changes, setting up underneath the tent. Anthony made sure that our officiant was heard by everyone and came well equipped with everything he may need for the event. He was also our emcee for the night as we did not have anyone else willing to make announcements and organize the order of events for us. At the beginning of the night, he played music that was appealing to both the older and younger crowds and towards the end of the night, he played music that made the younger guests get up and dance...they were even dancing in the rain! Anthony also stayed an hour and a half after the scheduled time (upon request) to keep the guests dancing and having a great time. I believe he prevented our rainy outdoor wedding from being a complete disaster by influencing everyone to have fun in the rain! Truly a talented and amazing DJ!

Anthony did an excellent job! I would hire him again in a heartbeat! He was very knowledgeable about his job and responsibilities which was extremely helpful!! I could always get in touch with him quickly and he was even available for my rehearsal just with a week's notice! Was fantastic at everything. I only have one complaint. He played all the group songs such as the cupid shuffle, one right after the other. More than 1 friend said that they would of danced to more if they would of been spread out because they were tired.

DJ Hitman, aka Anthony Lawrence is the best in the business, hands down! We were needing a DJ for our reception of over 330 people of all ages. I was nervous that I would be unable to find someone that could play modern music for dancing, while not offending the older crowd. However at the end of the night my 80 year old grandfather was on the dance floor complimenting how great of a DJ we had found! If you are looking for someone with a great personality, to make people laugh & enjoy your event, there is no one else to call other than DJ Sound Services!

Anthony was absolutely amazing to work with. He was very thorough explaining the process in our first meeting. The website he uses to make the playlist for the events is very easy to navigate and there are tons of songs to choose from. He was so easy to reach, never more than a text or phone call away. The wedding day went smoothly. Anthony went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted.

Anthony was beyond amazing. He was extremely professional. About 30 minutes earlier that I asked him to be, which was a blessing. Loved the online interactive DJ site where I could specific request songs be played or not played. And he followed exactly those requests. If I had any questions between booking and the wedding he always replied so quickly, and he stayed involved. Not one of those things where you book someone and don't hear from or see them until the day of the event. He made the ceremony and reception transition smoothly and both were filled with amazing music. I had requested he cut off at a certain time so me and the hubby could head to our reservations and he was exactly on time when he wrapped the ceremony up. He was extremely affordable for such a quality DJ. Couldn't have asked for a better, friendlier DJ that Anthony. Thank you so much for being a part of our big day!!

Anthony Lawrence did an amazing job as my DJ! He made my reception a success. He kept it organized and full of energy. He seemed to know what kind of songs to play and when to play them to get all the guests on the dance floor. I had an amazing time thanks to him. I also had a complicated father daughter dance where he had to incorporate different songs all into one and he did an amazing job with it. He was also very easy to get a hold of and very reliable. Out of all of the vendors I used for my wedding he was the most professional and would be the only one I would consider using again. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good DJ!

Sound Services DJ Entertainment was the best! Anthony and Michael were wonderful to work with! Communicating with them was easy and stress free. The day of the wedding I had to make a last minute change in how I wanted things to go during the reception. Michael handled it and made the change with no problems! Michael made everyone laugh and even got some people out on the dance floor that don't normally dance. Everyone loved the music he put together and told me it was the most fun reception they had ever been to! Everything was wonderful and I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!

Brides: scratch finding a DJ off your long to-do list You have FOUND the areas BEST! What good are those gorgeous shoes and beautiful dress if they arnt up and moving at your reception? Our guests were so impressed with Anthony's services and our party was a total success. One GUEST At the end of the night even said "HERE you HAVE to tip the DJ! He's awesome!" And shoved money into my hands to pass to Anthony. This guy is professional but HIP, and always always has your event's best interest at heart! Anthony Lawrence was an excellent pick for our wedding! He was always quick to respond to me when I had questions prior to the event, and always professional and attentive to our needs! He was so flexible with us and our guests, playing songs as they were requested, keeping the party alive, and staying longer than originally planned when the party didn't want to stop! Not only was Anthony prompt and ready whenever we were, he made the whole process so easy with the online wedding planner. We really didn't have to do much of anything but have fun and tell him when we were ready! He did not spend all night on the mic like other DJs, and really read the crowd to see what kind of music people wanted to dance to, not what he wanted to play. Pricing was also incredibly reasonable and he was very easy to get in touch with. I cannot say enough good things about him! Would hire him again in a heartbeat!

He is a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. Excellent master of ceremony and takes any of that worry off of you. Excellent choice for a DJ!

They were very professional and quick to respond to any question or concern that I had. The page that was created for my wedding was so easy to navigate and so helpful. Of course the music selection was wonderful! I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Wonderful DJ!! Knew what he was doing and how to make bride and groom happy! Mixed a father daughter song on his spare time! Perfect!!

Anthony DJ'd at my wedding and I will without a doubt say that he is the best! The music, lighting, and overall flow of the night went great. All of the songs I requested to be played at certain timings of the event were all played. 'The Fab Five' which was a group of friends of the groom's that sang in high school, even had a moment to reunite and sing a song to the bride, which was very a special and entertaining part of the night! Four friends that attended my wedding used Anthony as the DJ for their wedding because they loved how well mine went. I attended all of their weddings and they were all great. I would highly recommend to anyone for any event.

I would highly recommend DJ Hitman Lawrence! He had my husband and I create a song list and made sure every song we wanted was played! He was very professional and entertaining. Everyone had a great time, including my grandparents, who actually got out on the dance floor!!!

DJ Hitman Lawrence did an amazing job at our wedding at Lake Barkley State Resort Park Convention Center. I would highly recommend his business. He had a perfect blend of music and kept everyone entertained and dancing the entire reception! I've got lots of pictures and a video to prove it. Extremely professional with his set up.

Anthony (owner) was great to work with! He met with me twice before my big day at no extra charge to make sure we were on the same page, which really meant a lot. I was able to use an online system to choose songs for the wedding and ceremony, which made it much more relaxing for me. AND he made sure to get the songs I wanted, even if he didn't already have them! ....All the before stuff is important, but where Anthony really blew me (and all my guests) away was the reception. He read the audience and moved things smoothly along all night. I didn't have to worry about a single thing one we were introduced! I also loved that he took requests from my guests and made the night FUN!! I highly recommend sound services dj entertainment to anyone!!!!!

My husband and I hired him 4 months im advance to provide DJ services for our after-destination wedding reception. He gave us a quote that was pricey but we agreed to it based upon his assurances to of how reliable he was in contrast to other DJs. He added us both to his Facebook and he would comment on our reception FB event about the fun we would have and how he would be there, yada yada. I get an e-mail a day after my wedding while I'm on my honeymoon from another man who says he's gonna be my DJ and had a few questions for me. This was 8 days away from my reception. I was shocked. Mr. Lawrence had handed us over to his partner after multiple comments on FB and at our initial meeting how we were the only event he had that night and that he would be doing it. My husband texted him about the situation and Mr. Lawrence responded that he had another reception with a "more difficult setup. Then he assured us he was gonna meet with us along with the new DJ to introduce us. He never showed. The new DJ did okay, however there were a few things missing that he had told us he would do and the introduction of the minister providing the blessing was completely left out. He was not exciting nor did he at all attempt to get the guests going. As I said, he was okay, but definitely not worth the extra price. Mr. Lawrence's failure to communicate with us regarding our change in DJ as well as the timing of being informed was very unprofessional. To add insult to injury he posted a lot of pics and video of the reception he actually followed through with the next day. Just make sure if you hire him, you know what you are getting. He may be a better choice for people that want a lot of additional options such as lighting, etc. but wasn't dependable.
