Five Stars Isn't Enough—Martelle Was Incredible!

Martelle is AMAZING, my husband and I can’t recommend him enough! We hired him as the DJ for our wedding, and several guests went out of their way to tell us how impressed they were with his ability to read the room and play hit after hit all night long. The dance floor was packed, and the energy never dropped. On our wedding day, we experienced a last-minute weather change (every bride and groom’s worst nightmare), and Martelle was instrumental in helping flip the space in less than 15 minutes. Despite the unexpected change of plans, everything continued seamlessly. Even before the wedding, every call we had with Martelle was a delight. He was patient when we had no idea what songs to choose, thoughtful in his recommendations, and even sent us a curated playlist to help guide our planning process. It was clear from the start that he genuinely cared about making our day special. If you're looking for a talented DJ who is professional, personable, and knows exactly how to keep a party going, Martelle is your guy!

Excellent DJ's, we would highly recommend!

My husband and I found Sound Sensation DJ's through our venue (River Crest) as a recommended vendor and we could not have been happier with the company and the service our DJ's provided. From the start, they are very organized and you can tell they are seasoned professionals at what they do. We decided to choose Frank (the owner) as our DJ after having a great Zoom meeting with him. Music is a big part of my life and I truly felt that Frank understood that and took my opinions seriously. I was also extremely impressed with his suggestions and organization of things I didn't even consider. I felt that my wedding was in great hands the entire time and I was not let down. DJ Frank and DJ Amber played the majority of the songs from the Spotify playlist I took the time to compile, which was fantastic! I saw DJ Amber out on the dancefloor in heels leading the group dances for those who weren't sure how to do them, which was above and beyond. We also requested personalized intros for each member of our wedding party, which Frank read to perfection! I cannot speak highly enough of Sound Sensation DJ's!

Great balance of music

Martelle and Amber were AMAZING! We wanted a mix of songs everyone knows, and lesser known edm songs that my husband & I are into. Martelle kept the night balanced between those 2 vibes, and even remixed a few songs live! Amber kept the dance floor hopping all night long. We loved working with them!

Amazing Experience

A great experience, Martell came prepared and was professional. He knew exactly what to play and when, and did a great job of mixing in crowd favorites and new stuff. We would definitely book him again!

Martelle is the best!

Martelle at Sound Sensations is the best! He made our recent wedding SO fun. Little kids and older folks alike were dancing and having the greatest time. He also accommodated last minute changes with toasts and other requests at the reception, including my young niece really wanting to catch a bouquet last-minute (a bouquet toss had not been planned). He played music that our family and friends love, no matter their age. Would definitely recommend!

Great DJ - 10/10 recommend!

We were referred to Frank and Sound Sensation DJs through a family member who used them for their wedding. Frank and his team are amazing! We had a mixed crowd (lots of 20 - somethings and also lots of 50-somethings) and the dance floor was filled all night! We also used their photo booth and it was a hit as well! Great props and the attendant created a book and flash drive of all the pictures as well. Highly, highly recommend!

Way more than a DJ!

Frank and his whole team did a completely awesome job at our wedding this past weekend! We couldn't be more happier with the whole crew. We had Frank as our DJ and also a photo booth and selfie station. We had a variety of younger and much older people attend the wedding and franks whole crew took care of everything. Even taking the time to help the older crowd understand the different stations lol. I would without a doubt use Frank again and would highly recommend him and his team. They were great from start to finish. I also have to give Frank a huge thanks for helping us along through the whole process... From our first meeting when we instantly knew we wanted him as our DJ to the year long gap due to a covid postpone, to right up to the day of where it was clear that his only concern was making our day absolutely perfect and he definitely succeeded! Thank you Frank for everything!

Ceremony and Wedding DJ

Martelle made my wedding and reception amazing!!!! He is so nice and professional. He really understood the vibe we were looking for with our music selections and went with it. My husbands family had so much fun dancing. It was not your typically wedding reception, it was a PARTY! Which is exactly what we wanted.
I HIGHLY recommend choosing him for your events. He also dressed very nice! Shout out to his assistant Hunter! He was great too! And the owner of the company Frank was so helpful and accommodating. Perfect score in my book!

September 4 wedding

We had dj Martelle Pitts for our wedding and he was AMAZING!!! The best dj you can book with! He kept in contact with us and always answered right away if we had any questions. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND with helping us create a timeline for the wedding. The day of, he played all the music we wanted and organized things so PERFECT!! So much fun

DJ Frank and Amber were awesome. Everyone had such a great time. We had a small wedding, so getting things pumped up couldn’t have been easy. They made everything perfect. Incredible Experience

The Sound Sensations team was instrumental in the success of our wedding reception. Their website made it so easy to plan everything down to the minute, and they kept regular communication with us, especially as our wedding date drew closer. They kept the entire event running smoothly and communicated so effectively with our other wedding vendors during the reception. We definitely would have been lost without their expertise, and we are SO grateful they convinced us to choose them the bridal fair where we met them.

The Best DJs

Wonderful experience

Frank was amazing. He was so personable to our guests and was very professional during the event. He was engaging with our guests and always made sure that the dance floor was full. He did a great job working with our other vendors to make sure that everything went smoothly that day. The website was very organized and he played the songs that we wanted him to play and he was also open to suggestions made by our guests. Wonderful experience! We will recommend him to anybody who needs a DJ in the future.

From our first contact with Sound Sensations we knew that they were the ones to enhance our special day with their talents and product. Mike and Frank were very professional from our first sit down where we discussed all of our personal touches to make our day the best ever to the last song at our wedding. They provided great feedback and suggestions as they worked with us throughout the entire experience. I’m convinced Frank is the best dj out there! He was amazing at our wedding and our guests were on the dance floor from start to finish. He gave us a fair price and he was in communication with us through the entire process. I even emailed him the day before and completely changed up part of our plan and Frank was completely accommodating. My groomsmen asked for a song he didn’t have right before the wedding and he didn’t give up until he got the licensing to play that song. He was completely professional and his charisma was perfect for controlling how he night went.

Frank and team were outstanding for our wedding at Talamore. Frank is an awesome guy to work with and its no wonder he comes so highly recommended. They are polite, friendly, and fun. They will work with you in all phases of the wedding planning. They are great at what they do and we wouldn’t have picked any other DJ. Sounds Sensations did a fantastic job for our wedding. Being obsessed with trying to easily organize, I LOVED the online tool that was used to request songs, create a timeline of the wedding (with help of our DJ) and organize the songs for specific parts of the reception and ceremony.

Our DJ was Vince. He had a fantastic personality, fun to meet with and bounce ideas off of. Very responsive. There was a point we had a meeting that he had missed to do an honest mistake but Sound Sensations was quick to get in touch with him. They were extremely apologetic and gave a gift card for our troubles.

The day of the wedding was spectacular. The music was perfect for the ceremony and cocktail hour (so I was told as I was taking pictures.) I could not have asked for a better reception, people loved the music selections and giving requests. Vince had the playlist timed perfect! Started off with other music that the older crowd loved and got them up dancing. The dancing continued all night, playing 90s throwbacks we requested and new songs and everyone enjoyed. I am still amazed at how crowded the dance floor was that night! Amber also tagged along with Vince to help the night run smoothly. She was a blast to party with and taught people the dances! We were having such a great time, we even extended our reception an extra half hour!

We also used the uplighting that is an option through Sound Sensations. They had all colors ands shades and helped find us the perfect orange to set the tone of our reception. It helped add a little something extra to the room.

We worked with Gil for our wedding and he was great. My husband and I were worried that people wouldn't dance but he made sure to pump everyone up and when the last song of the evening was over people were asking for more!!! He really made our night special, fun and made sure everyone was satisfied!! Thanks again Gil!!!

I (we) would recommend Frank and Sound Sensation 100%. From the very start when we were planning the event on the website to the last song of our reception Frank was absolutely knocking every pitch out of the park. He sat with us for hours planning every minute of the sequence of the important things...first dance etc right down to the little surprise things he recommended we add. Frank is NOT a D.J. but a top notch Emcee for sure. There were a few guests who demanded to have his info during the reception, that speaks volumes, Thanks Frank.

I highly recommend booking Gil as your DJ for your next event! He was phenomenal. From day one when I met with him, I could tell that he had so much energy and enthusiasm for his job. For our wedding, he did an amazing job of engaging my guests on the dance floor and keeping them entertained for the entire evening!

We also used their services for a photobooth and uplighting. The uplighting looked fantastic at our venue (Talamore Country Club) and all of our guests loved the photobooth.

Frank at Sound Sensation DJ's made our wedding super awesome! He was very quick to respond to our emails. He even came out to the venue to show us what the up-lighting would look like in the ballroom before we made a decision! The gig builder website was awesome and allowed us to upload our music choices. We did not fill up the entire time, and the music that Frank filled in was perfect. Everyone was dancing all night up to the very end!!! He was a great Emcee - he pronounced all of the names correctly when introducing the bridal party and my husband and I. He kept everyone amped up and enthusiastic! He also provided sound for the ceremony, which was great! He played music while guests were being seated. Everyone thought it was a nice touch! I would HIGHLY recommend Sound Sensation Dj's and Frank Raffa to DJ whatever event you may have!

Our experience -- from start to finish -- with Frank was fantastic! He took the time to meet with us on more than one occasion, go over the perfect songs for every part of the evening -- from cocktail hour to entrances and first dances to dance music that all our guests would love, and even create a smooth schedule for the night so everything would be seamless. And, on the big day, he kept our dance floor packed throughout the entire reception! I've never seen that before! Everyone -- from little cousins to lifelong friends to our siblings, parents, and great-aunts and uncles -- had such an amazing time! The lighting was also amazing and Amber (our photo booth attendant) was great too! We would recommend Frank and Sound Sensation DJs to anyone hosting a wedding or special event!

My wife and I discovered Sound Sensation after much research. We signed on with DJ Gil Keough, who was phenomenal. We had a chance to meet with our DJ at the Skippack office and cover all aspects of our wedding--we mapped out the entire night and worked on everything to make our wedding's A/V experience nothing less than perfect. We had met Frank, the owner, and a couple other DJs during our time at the office and everyone was a joy to talk to and work with.

We would absolutely recommend Sound Sensation to anyone looking for a reception DJ. They really know their stuff and are a pleasure to work along-side.

Sound sensations were absolutely amazing. We heard him at our friends wedding which made us want to book him right away. We had the owner frank Raffa dj our wedding. Not only is he an amazing dj but he is an awesome MC. He gets involved with the crowd but not too much where it is annoying. Everyone was talking about him after the wedding. He is very down to earth and easy to relate to. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and takes pride in it. Would highly recommend him and his professional business

He isn't just a DJ that stands behind the table, he puts his whole heart and soul into making your event nothing less than amazing! He gets on the dance floor and makes everyone get involved, people truly thought he was a family friend because he makes everyone around him feel like your lifetime friend! Both my husband and I have guest asking for his contact info for their upcoming events because they had the best time at our wedding and it was all thanks to Gil and his team! Frank was our Dj for our Wedding May 30, 2015. He was amazing! The whole crew was great!!! The music was great and he was very enthusiastic and made the guests want to dance!!!! Lots of energy!
I also had the up lighting package, which was absolutely beautiful! It made the reception look complete! I loved it!!! I also loved our monogram which was displayed on the wall with our names!
The phototbooth was also a hit!!! Everyone LOVED it!!!! They even made me an album!
I would definitely recommend him to family and friends for any event. I was very happy!!! Frank is wonderful and very easy to work with!

We visited Frank a few months before our wedding and before we left his office, we already knew we were going to select him to be our DJ. Frank was friendly, professional, patient and very understanding of what we were looking for. Throughout the entire planning process, he was quick to respond to my emails and was extremely helpful.

On the day of our wedding, we couldn't be happier with choosing him as our DJ. We still have people commenting on how great he did! He got people up and dancing and everyone had so much fun! We had a handful of kids attending our wedding as well, which he did am amazing job with. He even gave the microphone at one point to the little girls to sing Let it Go from Frozen.. which everyone thought was adorable!

Frank, the owner of the company, was our DJ. And he did a great job with the musical selections. Since it was a small wedding (65 people) he was very aware of when to get people up and dancing and when to play music quiet enough for conversation.

Let me put it simply: DJ Gil was by far the GREATEST DJ any of us have ever known! He absolutely killed it and exceeded every expectation my wife and I had for a wedding DJ—in music selection, general MCing, and, of course, the dancing! The thoroughness and perfection of Gil's Thriller dance will forever live in our family's lore.

Not only did Gil bring a wealth of energy, professionalism, and style to the event, but he was also a pleasure to work with. His love and passion for performing—and his endless desire to see people having a good time—translated into a truly remarkable performance. And he is now a veritable super star amongst our friends and family. I cannot even count the number of people who sung his praises at the wedding...and are STILL singing his praises to this day. I am not one to shell out hollow praise, so believe me when I tell you that I am not exaggerating here. My wife and I have had the opportunity to catch up with many friends since the wedding, and without fail, EVERY conversation about the reception at some point leads to a discussion of how absolutely amazing Gil was as a DJ. In fact, here's a verbatim text one of my groomsmen sent just the other day:

"Dude, I was in the O.R. today when Gangster's Paradise came on and all I could think about was DJ Gil. That guy was amazing!!!!"

We had Gil Keough "the dancing dj" for our dj for our reception and he was excellent!!! He promised to get everyone out on the dance floor and he came through. Everyone had a great time and Gil did a fantastic job with the music, with the various parts of the reception and with jumping out onto the dance floor to show us tons of dance moves. I would highly recommend Gil at Sound Sensations for a dj and Sound Sensations made choosing our music selections and communicating the details of the time line and various aspects of the reception more organized and able to do according to our busy schedules with their on-line organizer specific for each wedding event. Frank & Sound Sensations was an integral aspect in the most important day in my life. My wedding was 5/24/14. He made the vision for our reception come to life. Horse Power for Life is dedicated to helping cancer patients and survivors of all ages improve their physical and emotional quality of life by offering a 16-week educational and therapeutic horsemanship program. Our goal is to help families living with cancer focus on their minds, bodies, and souls, rather than the disease while learning about horses in an atmosphere of professionalism, teamwork, and fun.

We hired Sound Sensation DJs for music, photo booth and uplighting at our Annual Pink Horse Shoe Gala & Silent Auction Fundraiser Event, which was hosted at the Radisson Valley Forge on Saturday, April 12th. Gil did an FABULOUS JOB!!! The room looked amazing with the pink uplighting and Gil had our crowd dancing the entire night. The photo booth was a huge hit. Our guests commented that it was the best year ever. We raised over $50,000 at our event and the money will directly sponsor 100 individuals in our local community diagnosed with cancer to go through our entire 16-week therapeutic program and live their dream of riding a horse!

Gil was our DJ and he was WONDERFUL. He was charming, energetic and was an awesome master of ceremonies. DJ sound sensations Frank was hands down one of the best parts of our wedding!

With planning his prep was extremely organizes and the ability to choose music from online was so efficient and a breeze! He was always responsive and communicating with us from start to finish!

During the actual event at Morris Arboretum he worked seamlessly with our venue at the Morris Arboretum which is a somewhat difficult venue to DJ at with its layout and general restrictions... he had no trouble navigating the venue! He played great music that we loved, and our guests loved! We also booked the photo booth which was a great success , our guests loved, and we love the pics we now have!

We used Sound Sensation for both our ceremony and reception. Our DJ was Mike Ellis and both my husband and I can't say enough positive things about him!!!!!

The day of our wedding, like anyone knows there is so much going on, but the one thing we didn't have to worry about was Mike. He was at the venue and setup early! He was dressed in appropriate attire for an upscale evening wedding, and the most important part was he was so calm in dealing with a last minute change in ceremony venue, due to inclement weather!

He was a pleasure to work with, in helping with some of our unusual song requests for our recessional and bridal party entrance!!! Mike made sure the entire evening ran smoothly from the bridal party entries and speeches, the start of dinner, cake cutting, and dancing!!

Frank was absolutely amazing! As a bride, you come to find that you second guess almost every choice that you make in order to have your dream wedding. However, I never second guessed our choice of DJ. Frank was wonderful from our first meeting with him to the end of the reception. Frank was easily available, by providing us his cell phone number and quickly and professionally responding to e-mails. We wanted a wedding reception that reflected our personalities and Frank Raffa delivered. From our very first meeting, Frank guided us through planning our wedding reception entertainment. My wife and I wanted to thank you for an absolute top notch job by you and your staff member at our wedding. The ceremony was great, with the volume at just the right level. The cocktail hour was similarly impressive. The best part, though, without a doubt, was the reception.

Your introductions were pronounced clearly and with vigor. The dance floor was jam packed all night. We really appreciated you running anything you thought might be in question through us to make ensure we had the perfect day. Frank's DJing made our wedding reception completely fun and memorable. Throughout cocktail hour and dinner he played a great mix of light rock and crooner music, then cranked the octane for hours and hours of dancing. At one point there were over 50 people on the dance floor and no one looked like they were leaving anytime soon!!! Also, the variety of music was well-maintained throughout the entire evening. Frank was great to work with, he met with us, listened to our wishes, and helped make our day unforgetable!!!!

Mike was an awesome DJ. He played all of our requests and kept the party moving along. He took the time to learn the bridal party names and was very professional. The photo booth was a great addition - those pictures are priceless.

Exceeded expectations on all elements!

Frank Raffa (our DJ and MC) really got to know us and helped us clarify what kind of experience we wanted to give our guests. Knowledgable insightful and very funny, he was a pleasure to work with. He even found the perfect song for the father-daughter dance! We wanted something Swing, upbeat, not too fast too slow or too long, and had had no success. He found the perfect song and it was a hit!

He provided music for the ceremony as well as DJing the reception AND a photobooth. The photobooth was AMAZING!! Everybody loved it!! Even my 80+ year old aunts and uncles got into the booth multiple times to take silly pictures with their children and siblings. Copies of all photos were fastened to a photo album by a helpful and nattily attired attendant and are a treasure trove of wonderful memories.

Frank was an outstanding MC as well as DJ! The introductions and toasts went smoothly (despite some unusual names!). After the formalities were over, he kept the energy level high and the music we loved flowing. He was responsive to guest requests while keeping our "do not play" list in mind so we didn't have to listen to the Macarena etc.

Sound Sensations earns my highest recemmendations for their oustanding professional responsive and FUN services!!

Im am so glad that I hired Sound Sensation for my wedding. Frank Raffa was awesome! If you love to dance, like I do, then this is the DJ for you. The dance floor was jammed packed all night long. The guys at Sound Sensation DJs were a pleasure to work with. During our initial meeting they were very informative and took a generous amount of time to discuss details without putting too much pressure on. The client login that they provide was a fast and easy way to keep communcation with them up until the wedding week and allowed easy view and payment of the bill balance. John Salamone was very helpful in providing suggestions and assistance along the way and he was a huge success at the wedding. I also rented a photobooth from Sound Sensation DJs. They had it set up exactly as we had discussed and my guests raved about the photo options and the fun they had using the booth. Highly recommend these guys for any wedding or event!!!!

Jimmy did an amazing job as a DJ for my wedding. Frank was the MC and he was awesome, he said everyones name perfect in the introduction. I gave him a play list and he did everything I asked. The dance floor was packed the entire night! They do a wonderful job and are very reasonably priced!

Frank and Amber helped to make a very special day that much more special and memorable. The songs that we requested were played and they had our guests dancing and enjoying themselves. Russ was really looking for music to fit the day . . very happy with his entrance song, and the ending. We are so happy that we went with Sound Sensation DJs. We used sound sensation for our October wedding for both the DJ and Photobooth and couldn't be happier. Frank was amazing. He walked through everything with us before the night of the wedding so we were all on the same page that night. He was just the right amount of involved with the crowd and followed our play and do not play list precisely. He was great!!! The pohotobooth was a big hit and we love being able to check out all of the pics from that night.

I'd recommend Frank to anyone looking for a great DJ!

Choosing the DJ for our wedding was the most important decision we made regarding our reception. The DJ is the one who entertains everyone and keeps them on the dance floor. As soon as we met with Frank, we knew he was our guy - no questions asked. He listened to our preferences and our music taste and after almost a year went by since our first meeting, he STILL remembered everything we had initially discussed...even my husband's favorite type of music and songs. He was an incredible MC and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long.

They also provided lighting in our ballroom. Frank even offered to meet with us AT the venue so we could see what it would look like and we could choose just the right color. I was speechless when I saw the whole package put together.

If you are considering Sound Sensation, DO NOT HESITATE!!!

Wonderful experience!

Martelle was the DJ at not only my husband and I’d wedding but also my sister in laws wedding! He was amazing at both, and was able to really personalize the music the way we wanted it. The entire process was so simple as well! Overall it was an awesome experience!

Our missing link, The Best around!

Starting with the first phone call with Frank, it was just a smooth process from there. We had a great conversation and it set the tone for all of the other DJs we talked to. Frank was just so easy going, went over all of my questions and I felt like we were in good hands. I actually didnt make a decision right away just because we wanted to do our due diligence and price out others, talk to others etc. Frank and his team were never pushy and were just patient. That gave me the confidence that they knew what they were offering and that gave me comfort for such a big occassion.

Mike and Eric were just a great addition to our event. We had a multi room setup with the ceremony happening outside, the cocktail hour happening in another area and of course the reception. These guys just made us feel like everything was going to be alright. I had enough to stress about and it was good to know that these two gentlemen had it all under control. The cues, the timing and even the last minute coordination of the intros etc. was so well done that I had nothing to worry about.

We had a smallish reception of 60 people so the party definitely wasnt as crazy or booming as it could've been but they kept it lively all the way till the time we ended. Mike and I shared an affinity due to similar life events. I think that made the connection that much more meaningful.

We carefully selected everyone involved, from the hotel, officiant, our incredible wedding planner and the florist and photographer. We felt we had all of that locked down. We hit the home run and found the missing piece by going with Sound Sensation. Mike and Eric provided a great time that people continue to ask me who we had as our DJ and we'll be referring folks to.

We might've just gotten married but we'll be celebrating 20 years together in a few years, we'll be looking to do an event so we'll be calling Frank and his team again.

If you want a DJ, you can find that anywhere. If you want an experience, a memorable one with the depth and professionalism that we expect from folks, definitely give Frank and his team a try. If you want to find the missing link to an incredible evening, ask for Mike and Eric. Two of the best around.

I would definitely recommend DJ Sound Sensations to any couple looking for a DJ for their special day. They are very professional and strive to personalize your event to go exactly how you want! We had the pleasure of having Mike Ellis as our main DJ for our reception, and Mike Pitti for the ceremony. Both were exceptional DJ's. Mike Pitti managed to time all music perfectly in the ceremony, with little direction. Mike Ellis, was wonderful to work with, as prior to our event he made every effort to make sure he had every detail to make sure our reception went flawlessly. While it didn't go as flawless as we'd hope (not because of the DJ), Mike Ellis was able to roll with the punches and make our guests feel as though everything was going exactly to plan. He knew all the music we wanted, and really knew how to keep the audience enjoying themselves with each song. We loved that he completely got the atmosphere we wanted and nailed it. In addition to the events of the day, I'd like to add that they have a great program to organize all your requests and timeline; it really makes preparing for the day as easy as it can be. They have great ideas like putting a song request line on your RSVPs and experienced advice you can trust.

We were so pleased with the experience we had with Sound Sensation DJs. Frank did a wonderful job with our wedding reception. He was very personable and was incredibly great to work with! He was engaging with our guests, making them feel a part of the events of the night. He had fun with the Bridal Party before we were introduced and made the events like the garter removal, a ton of fun!

He started on time and exceeded our expectations! He made sure that we were happy at the end of the event. We had a great experience with Sound Sensation DJs!! I will make sure that I recommend them to anyone I know in need of a DJ.

Frank Raffa and Sound Sensation did a fantastic job at our wedding.
