Best of the Best!

From our first time meeting Randy at a local Bridal Expo, we loved his attitude and professionalism! It is clear that he is incredibly passionate about his work and loves what he does. We got married at the Brookside Barn in December 2025 and Randy was very knowledgeable about the venue. He knew how to prevent echoes in the large space which helped improve guest experience - his attention to detail is unmatched. During the entire wedding weekend, his excitement and joy was contagious! All our guests loved Randy and he did a great job fielding their song requests throughout the night. We would highly recommend Randy for your upcoming wedding or event!

What a party!

Randy knocked the music for our wedding out of the park. He was very responsive throughout the whole process. I was very impressed with the organization and attention to detail to make sure we got the experience we were looking for. Randy kept our guests on the dance floor all night long!

Absolutely amazing

Randy was absolutely amazing. He was flexible with our requests, he was affordable and worth having on our special day. He never let the vibe down and our dance floor never stopped. He was very organized and knew exactly what he was doing and made everything perfect for us on his end. He is amazing and we totally recommend you look into his DJ services and hire him for any event. Randy rocked! We were so lucky to have him. We rate him a star 15 out of 10!! Best DJ Ever!

Randy was not only professional and extremely helpful, he is also just an all around awesome person and a joy to be around! He made our wedding spectacular, played all the music we wanted. I am still getting comments a month later by our guests complimenting our DJ. I couldn’t be more pleased

EXCELLENT… Guest were dancing all night!

Randy did an amazing job as our wedding dj! From the ceremony up the reception everything went so smoothly. He was very accommodating and ensured everything went as planned. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night! I couldn’t have asked for a better dj for our big day!

Randy at Sound Obsession made my son's wedding reception so much fun! My son and his wife are introverted people and don't like being the center of attention. Randy was nothing short of awesome. He was super detailed and nailed exactly what we were looking for. He took care of all our requests and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Weddings are always stressful trying to get everything coordinated but if you hire Randy that’s one less thing you’ll have to worry about!

My husband and I were so happy with Randy at Sound Obsession. He made our night so fun and kept hit after hit coming, keeping everyone on the dance floor! Absolutely the best!

Randy was the absolute best to work with. His pre event packet helped keep everything in line, the things we had forgotten about were on there to remind us. He was able to accommodate our request for outside music for the ceremony, and we left most of it up to him as far as music selection and timing. Him being there made our day much less stressful and when snags occured on our end he was quick with suggestions and solutions that worked out for all.

Randy - is the go-to person

I previously had to cancel my wedding two times which was organised to be in my home Country in Sri-Lanka due to Covid. And then we decided to take our wedding in the US. In less than 6 months of time. We needed some one to play Sinhala, Hindi, and English songs for us while coordinating our wedding which as accustomed by both Sri- Lankan Traditions and according the law of New-York too. Randy was very flexible us. Our choices of songs were so much different and we had different customs where he made a good balance of the songs and entertained all the people at the wedding. At the end of the day we had a big smile on our faces while we walked away from our wedding venue.
He is professional and works on time ( kind of early bird too) . We had about 2 zoom meetings just to get to know each other and to go over the plan because our wedding was complicated and much complex as we was following two traditions. But everything went so smooth and we was so happy. He made it sure that we had the best moment in our life.

Randy, Brian, and his team were on the ball for every moment of our special day. Their attention to detail was spot on. Obsessed and couldn't be happier!

Randy at DJ Sound Obsession was exactly what we wanted, needed and received. We were able to plan exactly what we wanted as well as give Randy the reins for things we had ideas for, but didn't know how to execute. We were lucky enough to have him at our ceremony and reception even though they were at two different locations, about 25 minutes apart (on top of him also traveling from NY to VT for our day!). His reception performance was great, the dance floor stayed busy all night. We had lots of guests comment on the music and quality! Randy also had a very fun personality which is always a bonus. My husband, our guests and I highly recommend DJ Sound Obsession for any occasion!

The BEST DJ for our big day!

I cannot recommend Sound Obsession enough! Randy was very easy to book and communicate with. Brian was our DJ for the night and he did a phenomenal job. He read the room well and kept everyone on the dance floor, keeping us and our guests enjoying our night until the very end. The one thing that was very important to us was making sure our guests had a great time and we know with 100% confidence, due to the excellent DJing, that they did!

My son and his new bride hired Sound Obsession for their wedding this fall. We could not be more happy with them. Randy was amazing! He met with us the day before to see the outside wedding and reception site so that he would be prepared for anything we might need. He has an amazing ability to keep the wedding running flawlessly and to keep the crowd dancing and having fun. The newlyweds and guests weren’t ready to end the night and he was willing to play hours longer than we had originally planned. Randy is more than a DJ... he is the entertainment. Very responsive to your needs on wedding day! Our venue was the Rainbow Wedding and Banquet Hall in Altona NY and Randy works well together with the venue to provide the best personalized experience possible! He is awesome at going with the flow of the night and getting people onto the dance floor! He was an excellent choice for our wedding DJ! We definitely reccomend him to other couples!

From start to finish, Randy was awesome! We are so incredibly happy we chose Sound Obsession. Randy was very easy to work with and went above and beyond for us. He did the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We've heard nothing but good things from our guests on the music and how much fun they had. Our dance floor was packed all night! Randy from sound obsession was an amazing dj! He worked with us to make sure the music for our wedding was exactly what we wanted it to be. He also did the music for ou're ceremony and made sure everything ran smoothly. He is truly and excellent dj that knows how to read the cried and play what everyone wants to hear. When we decided to get married at the Whiteface Club and Resort in Lake Placid, one of the first people we contacted was Randy Bosely (Sound Obsession). We couldn't have been more pleased to find out that he had our wedding date open. He immediately sent us a packet to fill out with sound selections, the schedule of wedding events and the choices we had. Randy is very flexible in regards to the flow of the wedding and adjust accordingly.
Once the wedding day arrived, Randy was several hours early and always seems happy and relaxed. We asked him to set up the ceremony music the day prior and told him we may have it inside or out depending on the weather. It was no problem for Randy. He had portable speakers and could adjust at the last minute without any stress or worry. From the moment the reception started, people were on the dance floor and it didn't stop until the night ended.
All of our family, friends and staff really enjoyed being on the dance floor. Several people at our wedding asked for his contact information at the end of the night.
Randy (Sound Obsession) exceeded our expectations and would definitely recommend him for anyone's wedding plans. You can tell he has been doing this for many years and loves what he does.

Randy from Sound Obesssion was so great to work with. He was easy to communicate with, and replied to questions promptly and thoroughly during the planning process. He really listened to what we wanted and did an amazing job setting the tone for our reception. He was professional but did a great job also making it a lot of fun. He transitioned the reception seamlessly from introductions, to the traditional reception activities, to dinner, and then to party mode! His music kept everyone moving, from my 2 year old niece to our 70 year old guests. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ! Thanks Randy!

Randy was beyond professional and organized on our wedding day. He helped make the entire evening less stressful. He followed up with my husband and I several times throughout the night to make sure we were happy and on track. He had people on the dance floor all night playing all the right songs. Randy with Sound Obsession took care of all of our music wedding needs, he was professional, courteous, and knew exactly how to keep the crowd going. He was even flexible enough that at the end of the night when we asked him to stay longer he did. a year later I am still getting comments from guests about how it was the most fun wedding they have went to.

Wonderful!

Sound Obsession was absolutely perfect for my small wedding reception. They provided guidance along with the venue staff as to the flow of the wedding which took all worries off us as a couple. The music was excellent, well-timed, and thoughtful. I highly recommend Sound Obsession for any occasion, small or large. We all had an excellent time. we asked for a "fun" and "party" wedding and that's exactly what we got. at one point 80 - 90% of the wedding guest were all up and dancing at the same time.
