Wedding Ceremony and Reception

Gary did an amazing job as the DJ for our wedding! The client portal was super easy, and helped to have all the music organized in advance. I also appreciated some last minute decisions/ideas day of, for some fun songs to play. Would recommend to anyone!

Gary is great!

As a wedding venue owner I see quite a few DJs and Gary is the best. We hired him for our son's wedding in fact! Gary is very kind, likeable, professional, ethical and plays a great mix to really have an elegant and fun wedding & reception. First rate DJ and MC

Gary DJ'd and MC'd our wedding ceremony and reception this summer in Black Forest. He knocked it out of the park. Gary is a true professional. He joined us ahead of time for a walk through and spent time with us to figure out our song choices and how we wanted to run the event. On the day of he was so organized. His MC and DJ setup was simple and elegant. He kept everything moving smoothly for the ceremony and dinner and then had the dance floor packed all night. Highly recommend!

Gary was awesome!

We used Gary with Sound Junction for our April wedding at the Broadmoor. We were very happy with his DJ services! We provided him with songs we wanted to use, but also gave him the feel we wanted for our cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He did a great job with his song selections and keeping that same classy feel we wanted. He is very easy to work with, and on top of everything. His calm demeanor puts you at ease and you know you and your wedding are in good hands. We would recommend Gary highly!

Made our Night!

While planning our wedding, a friend recommended that we reach out to Gary at SoundJunction to hire as a DJ for our wedding. We did and we are so happy that we went with that decision! Gary was great at communicating with us and was super laid back but in an extremely professional way. The music was a very important part of our wedding and Gary delivered perfectly. He was just so comfortable and confident with what he was doing that from the moment the first song played I was sure we had nothing to worry about.

On top of being a great DJ, Gary is also a friend, I actually found myself chatting with him a couple times throughout the night! We are going to a wedding where Gary is going to be the DJ in July and my new wife and I are excited to see him again!

Amazing DJ

Gary was the BEST!! He was so attentive, professional, calm and personable. He was bringing us drinks, taking videos of the ceremony and reception, and his communication with us was great. We are so happy we chose Gary to be our DJ. It was the best night ever! We had so much fun and all of our family and friends loved all of the music! Thank you so much, Gary for everything!!

Awesome DJ!

Gary is an awesome DJ who knows how to get a party started! He did a wonderful job at our wedding, and executed everything as perfect as we could have wanted it. I would highly recommend Gary and Sound Junction DJ to anybody!

Excellent and Thoughtful DJ - Highly Recommend!

Gary was absolutely wonderful! He was the DJ for our wedding and we could not have asked for someone better! He knew exactly what songs to play that kept everyone out dancing. Amazing DJ!!!!

Gary was absolutely wonderful at our wedding this October. He worked alongside our day of coordinator flawlessly to make sure our day ran as smoothly as possible. His website is really easy to use and allowed us to tailor the music to our personal taste and style. He went above and beyond and helped make sure we had food and dessert set aside for us to enjoy as we ran around doing pictures. He also aided my brother with sound equipment so my brother could sing our first dance. Gary was very quick to respond to questions and really worked hard to make our night special. It was a magical day and I would 100% recommend him to everyone :)

We are so happy we hired Gary for our wedding! He was incredibly responsive to emails and took care of everything with little direction on the wedding day. He was very professional and even took a highlight video of our day, which was so special since we didn't hire a videographer. He created a great playlist based on our preferences and the sound equipment he brought sounded great even in the outdoor venue. We would definitely recommend hiring Gary for your wedding day!

We absolutely loved working with Gary from Sound Junction! He was prompt and professional, but also entirely chill! We especially appreciated getting to have a “do not play” list, as some classic hits are just not our style. Gary went with the flow for the entirety of the evening, and helped us stay on track throughout the night by reminding us about times for toasts, desserts, and allowing us to make intermittent announcements on the mic as needed. Also the system quality was awesome and everyone had a blast on the dance floor. 10/10 would work with Gary again!

Gary went up and beyond his responsibilities. He was very professional, attentive, and self reliant. With all the hustle and bustle during the wedding, he set up the outdoor system and the indoor system, while taking care of the generators, playing music, displaying lights, and being an awesome MC. His choice of music was amazing! He kept our dance floor full and played all our requested songs. He definitely contributed to our best day ever! Thanks Gary!

Gary did a great job of including the songs we wanted, pacing the music during the reception, and taking car of announcements. We had a lot of other things on our minds for our son's wedding, and it was great to have a professional take care of details. He even found an obscure Japanese pop song that my son had requested! Sound Junction did a phenomenal job and I highly recommend him! Since I had never planned a wedding before nor hired a disc jockey, I was clueless. We had only three songs chosen and I asked Gary with Sound Junction to take it from there and that’s exactly what he did. Everyone had a blast and he kept things going — he was a phenomenal MC and had the perfect selection of music. His rates are reasonable, he is professional, punctual and has a positive, upbeat attitude. He travels the entire Front Range. You can’t go wrong with Sound Junction!

When we got to the reception Gary met us and asked if we wanted something to drink, and got both me and my husband a drink. Dinner was not ready when we arrived putting us an hour behind schedule. And we only had the photographer for a couple more hours, Gary worked with us and helped move somethings around so that we could all the important things done before the photographer left. He was very helpful and made the night stress free.

Gary was AWESOME. Through the whole lead up to the event and all through the day, he made this process so seamless. He took care of us on the day - even offering to bring us our food from the buffet line so we could just sit down for a moment. He even shot an unexpected video which was so fun to see. I had my wedding at the Broadmoor on 5/28/2017. Gary was awesome! Our officiant couldn't make it on our wedding day and Gary was able to substitute in a very short notice! His DJ service was great, too! We enjoyed working with him!

Gary was the DJ at my husband's and my wedding on 3/30/17, and I can't say enough good things about him! He was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. He made sure or glasses were always full all night which definitely wasn't his responsibility and truly appreciated. I was so grateful we chose him. We ended up with Gary after our other DJ was not able to do our wedding and I am so thankful that we ended up with him! We was absolutely amazing! Not only was he an amazing DJ, he helped take so much stress off our shoulders even when we ran into a few hiccups. First let me start by saying BEST DJ EVER!!!!! Gary was amazing at our wedding in Sept 2016. Not only was he a great DJ, but he went above and beyond to ensure that my new wife and I, along with all our guests, had an amazing time. He made the planning process so easy with how organized he is providing planning forms, timelines, song selection / request lists and more on his website. This was extremely helpful as it assisted us with other areas of our wedding when we didn’t know where to start. His equipment options (which are extensive) are top-of-the-line to go along with his great attitude and willingness to help. He checked in several times to see if we needed anything, or how he could help, and even brought us drinks from the bar when we were working with our photographers. How awesome is that!?!?!?. He played every song we requested at the perfect time. Whether it was our processional / recessional songs, mother / father dances, or entry / announcement songs, his timing was always perfect!!! He also read the crowed perfectly, playing music that kept everyone dancing all night. He even took pictures and a short video that he shared with us. We didn’t have a videographer so this was a really nice treat. I can’t talk enough about how happy we were with choosing him as our DJ for our wedding and I guarantee you will be impressed with his level of service.

Gary filled in at the last minute for us after the DJ we originally booked cancelled. What could have been a disaster turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We were so pleased with Gary and his services. He was professional, organized, attentive to the dance floor and kept playing music that was fun and kept the crowd engaged. He "kept the party going" and knew what needed to be happening and when. I didn't know the day could just get better and better, but it did, and it was largely due to Gary and the way he orchestrated the sequence of the musical selections. We ended the night on such a high note. As the mother-of-the-bride, exhaustion and depleted resources dictate that we don't really want to do this ever again, but Gary's DJ services made the evening so much fun that we have all kept saying we could it all over again!

We originally had another DJ booked, but a month before the wedding he was no longer going to be able to do our wedding. He did however get us set up with Gary to be his replacement. We honestly lucked out by having Gary as our D;j in the short amount of time we knew him he made us feel at ease about the switch and was fast about responding to random questions. During the wedding day he was so pleasant to deal with and was so much help with small little details. If things didn't look right, he was happy to get someone to fix it for me. When we were talking pictures he was happy to grab us drinks. All the little things added to the day and just made it go so smoothly. He honestly went above and beyond what I thought a DJ's "responsibilities" were. Thanks for everything!!

Let me just start off by saying that Gary is the man!! He took such good care of us on our big day! From the little things like bringing me a glass of wine as we got through pictures to the bigger obvious DJ expectations like doing an awesome job at the getting the party started! Throughout the planning process, Gary was super attentive and would always make sure all my nerves were put to rest. He ran the whole ceremony and reception smoothly and was super flexible when things didn't go exactly as we planned. He's also super personable and easy to communicate with. There's honsetly no negative or critical feedback I can think of to give. I would choose Gary time and time again, if I could go back and re-live my wedding day (which I would very much love to do). Thanks Gary! you're the best!!

We used Gary with Sound Junction for our wedding reception and could not have been happier. From the beginning when we first contacted him, through the day of the event, he was very responsive to all questions and requests. He has a great online system that allows you to add songs and make notes regarding what you do or do not want at your event. Time got away from me and I barely had any songs added to a list for him to go off, but he was still able to choose the perfect mix of songs for our cocktail hour and reception. We also utilized his equipment/microphones for speeches which was great. Gary was very professional and attentive, and I would recommend him to anyone! Thank you Gary!!

Me & my fiance are using Sound Junction, LLC as our dj for our wedding reception dance next summer. He is reasonably priced, which we really like. He is willing to work with us on the music we like & want. Also willing to work with our time line for the reception for music. Lastly has lots of music help or selection ideas. All of which we really like. He is very personable & easy to work with.

If you are in the market for a DJ, whether it be a wedding or anything else, I would highly recommend Gary. He DJ'd our wedding in Winter Park and was fantastic. He did both the ceremony and the reception and we couldn't have been happier. I left the music up to him and he did a fantastic job. He was also very reasonably priced. He came recommended by a friend, and I have already recommended him to two other people.

Gary did such a wonderful job at our wedding! His sense of humor eased any nerves before the ceremony started and kept the energy up until the reception ended. He was more than prepared with everything he needed, including a backup system in case of emergency. We weren't sure of what particular songs we wanted in the playlist, but Gary was ready with suggestions and made the process so easy! If you want a flexible, reliable, professional and all around good guy to have as your DJ hire Gary. From the first meeting at a coffee shop in Castle Rock we were comfortable and excited to have Gary managing the music for our outdoor wedding in April 2016. During the list selection process he responded quickly to emails and phone call questions. His website planning tool was easy to use and helped keep us organized. I remember Gary coming to see me (the bride) once I arrived at our location prior to the ceremony. He was checking in with me & I could see he was genuinely excited for us. The music was one of the most important aspects of our wedding. Gary did an excellent job & was great to work with.

Remembering my wedding from a year ago and looking back on the pictures of everyone smiling and crowding onto the dance floor, the first thing that comes to mind is that the music was perfectly orchestrated by Sound Junction LLC! Gary put together the perfect playlist with everything we wanted and more! He really took the time to understand stand our music tastes and sought out our obscure must-have oldies. I received so many compliments! Everyone had such a good time!

I especially loved Gary's professionalism throughout the whole process. He has a wealth of music knowledge and is a very good listener. The music was seemless from cocktail hour, through dinner, and late into the night with dancing. I have seen many MCs that ruin receptions by fancying themselves stand up comedians and making their announcers voice take center stage throughout the evening, which was one of my biggest concerns when looking for a good DJ. I shared this with Gary, and he completely understood! We were so pleased with his MC skills! He kept the night moving at the right pace with tact and tasteful use of the mic.

His ability to feel the vibes of the crowd and keep the dance floor happy was masterful! I still have friends and family remark about how ours was the most fun reception they have ever been too, and I credit Gary at Sound Junction LLC, with the seemless transitions, great playlist, and professional MC skills. Gary did an amazing job at our wedding and reception! You can tell he puts a lot of time and energy into knowing the couples before the wedding; he drove all the way from Colorado Springs to Denver just to meet up with us for an hour, he was very quick to respond to emails, and he made himself very flexible and available for questions and concerns. When the wedding rolled around, Gary made both the ceremony and the reception more awesome!! He was very attentive to timing, he was very involved in the guests, reception games, bouquet toss, cake cutting and dances, and he did a great job playing great music, even though we did not have a very big playlist. I could tell that everyone was very engaged, and my husband and I had so much fun! Thank you Gary for everything that you did for our wedding. We will definitely recommend you to friends.

Are you looking for a dj? I could not recommend Gary more enthusiastically. Are you thinking you don't need a dj, or don't want to spend the money on one? I could not encourage you more fervently to reconsider, and then go with Gary. I was in the latter boat, but went with Gary to make the day a little easier. I had songs picked out already and didn't think I need the help. The day probably would have gone fine without him, but he raised it to another level. He helped the day stay on track, according to the time line we worked out before the wedding. He went above and beyond, even showing up an hour early and playing ceremony music while he set up. He offered to bring us food and drinks from the bar. He consulted me when little kids started requesting songs. He made a video of the best moments of our reception. And above all, he kept us dancing all night. Gary was so great, and I am so happy he was there to make this day that much better. Thanks, Gary!

Gary did an amazing job at our wedding!!! I could not have found a better DJ. Gary is very personable and easy to work with. He went above and beyond what I would have expected. Gary helped us to get started on picking music for the wedding. He was even able to add music last minute when I realized that the processional would be longer than I had anticipated. Gary made sure our special day was stress free. He made the night flow smoothly and the music he played kept our guests dancing all night. Gary did a great job during my wedding ceremony and reception! He has all the music you can think of and if he doesn't he will add it for you - no hesitations! He is very personable and if you didn't know it you would think he was part of the family. He is super easy to work with and does a great job. Gary was amazing and made our special day phenomenal! We had a few major last minute wedding day glitches that could have been big disasters, but Gary kept everything running smoothly and even brought the late bride champagne. Gary is a class act and lots of fun. He knows how to get people on the dance floor and keep the behind the scenes stuff running like clock work. We met Gary in person for the first time at our wedding but we had been in touch throughout the process. All we can say is that he was amazing!!!!!!!!! Everything went so smoothly. He was very sensitive to our music requests . Our wedding was and Indian/Western culture Wedding and he had quite the selection to pick from. I high recommend him for any special occasion you have. If you don't hire him then you are missing out on one of the best experiences in your life.

Gary with Sound Junction DJ was absolutely amazing! He was friendly, thorough, and very accommodating. Before our wedding, Gary made sure to find out what we wanted our day to look like, as opposed to try and convince us of his idea of it. He went above and beyond in several ways, and was very willing to do anything we asked of him and more! He even thought of things that we hadn't thought of ourselves. Gary is very helpful and understands how a wedding should flow. He also will assist you in designing a good format and or script for the wedding, if you want one. In addition, he is flexible, in meeting your needs as a DJ. He is willing to meet and discuss the content with you to ensure a smooth evening. Gary can MC the event solo or he can work well with your MC, whatever your choice. The our reception was a true success story and the best wedding reception I ever attended, because Gary did a fabulous job of toasts, music, flow and coordination of events. Gary did a wonderful job dj-ing my best friend's wedding. We were a little behind in supplying him with details for the music, but he remained calm and was ready to go regardless. He showed up to the venue early and had everything set up before the bridal party arrived. He payed attention to the type of music requested for both the ceremony and reception and did exactly as was asked. He also took requests and even went so far as to download a song on his phone so he could fulfill a dedication! He had microphones ready to go for the toasts and was responsive and checked in throughout the ceremony. Additionally, he seemed genuinely pleased to be attending the event and was personable on the phone and at the wedding. I highly recommend him!

Amazing!! We had only a short time to plan the wedding, and the Bride and Groom were so busy getting everything done they failed to put together a playlist. You, of course, had one already put together, took their suggestions, and everything came out perfect. Last minute (and I do mean last minute...) changes were made on the fly with no hesitation, and you even met us at the church to assist with a wireless mic to help the Pastor, as he had a touch of laryngitis, and could not speak up...what a lifesaver!! You were great to work with, we never even met you until the day of the Wedding, and you were just like another member of the family, working your magic to make sure the reception went off without any problems. The kids danced the entire time, and anything that was asked of you, you were right there to accommodate the situation. Thank you for all of your help, even cleaning up the leftovers!! We will certainly use your services again in the future! Maybe even another wedding next year....just found out my son got engaged this week. Surprise!! Gary was awesome! He was the DJ for our daughter's wedding and we could not have been happier with his services. He met with the bride and groom to discuss music options, play lists and details on how they wanted the ceremony and reception to proceed. He was attentive and respectful of their wishes and he did a great job of keeping the reception moving at a nice pace. There was plenty of time for dancing and he made sure everyone knew when there was something coming up, such as cutting the cake or tossing the bouquet. The music was great and the dance floor was always full. Everyone had a great night and that was largely due to a great DJ. We would highly recommend Gary to anyone.

I have had the great opportunity to work with Gary Liebowitz of Sound Junction, LLC for several years at many events. It was always a relief to know when a wedding party or even a special event had booked Sound Junction as their DJ. Because of Gary’s vast experience, the music was going to be done right, pleasing everyone in attendance! Not having to worry about the music made my job that much easier.

Gary has excellent technical ability with the sound equipment and his personality always comes through when blending the music so everyone will be entertained. If you are looking for someone dependable to play music for your reunion, corporate event, holiday party, wedding ceremony and reception this is the DJ for you.

Gary is very professional and he has a great personality making it fun to work with him. His Sound Junction website makes it very easy to select the kind of music you like which gives you the peace of mind that your event will be portrayed just as you planned it.

As a wedding planner you have to make sure details are in order and it all runs smoothly. Sometimes the customer would ask for my advice on whom to use for the DJ portion of their event and I always recommended Sound Junction. This way I knew that we were going to have a memorable event with great music due to a DJ that knows how to please the customer.

If you're looking for a DJ or MC, look no further. Gary helped us immensely at our wedding in July. I've never claimed to be a good party planner, so it was wonderful knowing that I had a trustworthy person to run the sound for our ceremony and music for our reception. Gary was amazing. There were several things that made out wedding difficult to DJ for; I was planning from another state, my husband is Persian so our reception music needed to be a mixture (my in laws provided music which he did a beautiful job of integrating into the reception), we had a very specific dance plan involving some acting on his part. I don't think we could have picked anyone better. The website made it so easy to select/exclude songs, he was always available for discussion/consultation, he was very professional and an excellent DJ as well as MC for our wedding. I referred both my sisters to him for their weddings too!

Gary Liebowitz was a wonderful DJ at my husband and my wedding. He showed up on time, played the music we wanted and even added some songs in that was sure to make everyone dance. He wasn't annoying or corny as a DJ, but very respectful and fun. I would definitely recommend him to do anyone's event.

Gary provided great dj service at my daughter's wedding. From our first contact to the last dance he was respectful, responsive, and a true professional! Gary has developed an awesome online tool which allows the bride to develop "must play" lists and "please don't play" lists. This makes it super easy to hop online and add a song or two to the list at any time.
Another great characteristic of Gary is his great sense of timing. He kept our event moving perfectly! He worked very independently; he knows his stuff, once I got finished with the ceremony and arrived at the reception I was finally able to sit back and relax for the rest of the evening, it was just wonderful! Thanks again Gary!!

Gary was great to work with! He was super easy to get in touch with, and very helpful the day of. The music he chose during dinner was exactly what we asked for. The only downside was that a few of the songs on our "Absolutely please play this!" list were not played. Also, the incorrect version of our first dance was played, when we know we wrote down the correct version on our form. To us though, those were two very, very minor things in comparison to the great job that Gary did. We would absolutely recommend him to other people!

Gary was awesome! We thought we had all the songs picked out for our reception- but totally forgot entrance songs and others. He recommended great songs and we were all good!
Since we got married on Father's Day- it was important that after our first dance, I surprised everyone with a Father/ Daughter dance- not just for me (the bride) & my Dad, but for others in attendance. Gary did an amazing job announcing the dance- and everyone thought it was so cute!

We would recommend Gary for events!

Two weeks before our wedding, we received word that the original DJ we hired was unable to make it to our wedding after all. This situation had the potential to be very stressful and frustrating, but Gary stepped right in and saved the day. His service at our wedding was fantastic. He was personable, professional, kind, and clearly experienced. We highly recommend him, without hesitation.

Great to communicate with and work with, but didn't feel like things flowed through the reception how I wanted them to. Let songs play for way too long - why do we have a DJ if he isn't going to read the flow of the room? Didn't feel like many of our requested songs got played...and we had a special cousin dance that we had told him about before, but when it came time communication didnt happen well and the timing was rushed, music started to early, and because of this no one was able to get a good video, focus was not on the dance, etc. Bummed about that. Cake cutting was thrown in, and no one even knew it was happening, no focus on that. Did a decent job but I wasn't super impressed.

After meeting with several DJs, we chose Gary due to the great price he offered. His personality and knowledge of music was great! We met several times to discuss approach on style and details, and leveraged his easy to use website for playlists and schedules. The day of the wedding, Gary showed up early to set up the ceremony space (outdoors). However, we did have a few concerns throughout the day from that point forward. As I was descending the stairs to join the ceremony, Gary came up and asked if we wanted the instrumental version of the precessional song, or the one with words. While I appreciate the willingness to ask, the timing of the question implied he had not planned ahead. Also, immediately following the ceremony, he stepped in to our bridal party group to ask about the set up for reception – we had an outdoor cocktail hour planned, and he wanted to know if we needed a 3rd set up for music to be heard outside. This also came across that no coordination had been done with the venue coordinator, to determine the best set up for our event. As the day went on, Gary was noted to be away from the booth frequently taking pictures and videos on his own personal device, and approached me a few more times with questions (i.e., where are the best man and maid of honor for the toast, did you still want the memorial song played, etc.). My husband’s brother and another guest noted that Gary was not very receptive to requests - disappointing as we had told Gary he could play anything guests requested if it was not on the “Do Not Play” list. We were also disappointed that he did not invite guests to get cake; we had tons of cake leftover, and several comments by guests that they didn’t know it was time to go get it! At the end of the reception, Gary stopped us to ask about final payment, which we had mailed him several weeks prior and received his confirmation of receipt. Overall, interactions were professional and positive but day of activities could be better.
