  Manny was amazing!! His positive attitude, energy really made our wedding day beautiful and fun. All of our guest said the music was amazing and mcing as well . Our wedding day was fun and beautiful and we owe manny a lot of that! I love the ability of manny to be onboard and pozitive attitude , incredibly easy to work with..if you want a fun wedding manny /sound illusions is the way to go

  Can’t say enough great things about Manny! From start to finish he made things easy, fun, and was supportive as ever during the entire process. Always readily available and happy to hop on a call to walk through timing and all things wedding! I appreciated his positive and happy demeanor more than he will ever know!   Incredible wedding DJ!

  Manny exceeded all of our expectations and everything we could ever want for our wedding DJ. Not only was he super attentive and on point with all of the music choices, he made sure to follow up with us in the weeks leading up to the wedding to be sure that all of the scheduling was on point, and put us at ease for the big day. On the day of the wedding, the music selection flowed so perfectly from dinner music, to dancing. He even surprised us by capturing a couple of moments on video which was so special to us. We would absolutely recommend Manny to anyone who is looking for a fabulous DJ. Someone who is a perfectionist, master at their craft, and so very kind and positive. thank you again, Manny!

  Amazing Work!

  My wedding was a blast! Everyone mentioned how they had so much fun. Manny definitely played a HUGE role in that. I had so much fun figuring out our playlist with him. Manny is very easy to communicate with. I had such a great experience getting to work with him. Thank you again Manny! You are amazing!

  Best Wedding DJ Ever!

  Music was a very important aspect of our wedding so we took our time reading reviews to find the perfect DJ. Manny was THE BEST! He was very organized and responsive and made it easy for us to send him our playlists. He made sure that all the special ceremony and first dance songs were the exact versions we wanted. We ended up making our own playlists which he stuck to because he was able to keep the party going on the dance floor with the order he played the songs in. We had a small 'do not play' list and he did not play any of the songs on it which was very appreciated. The sound equipment and lighting he provided was perfect (he provided some lighting for a flower arch we had which really made it stand out at night) and he did a great job MCing/making announcements to keep things moving during the reception. There are so many things to be stressed about when planning your wedding, but music will not be one of them if you choose Manny!

  I would give Manny 6 stars if I could - he was a complete joy to work with the entire time. Always friendly, responsive, enthusiastic and accommodating! He was very helpful and let us curate the playlists for each part of the day exactly as we wanted it. He send sample cuts of all the key songs of the day and was super patient about making timing edits. People raved about the music for days after the wedding. He is such a sweet, easy-going person who brings fun energy to the dance floor! I can’t recommend him enough!!! Hire him and you won’t regret it!

  Perfect Execution

  Let me start by saying manny was incredible. He met with us a couple time prior to go over the vibe we wanted for our wedding and couldn’t me more helpful in the process. We had a unique scenario where we wanted clean fun music and then late night more inappropriate vibes (hip hop/rap). He was able to make it all flow so easily and EVERYONE love him! Highly recommend him for any special occasion!

Leading up to the wedding we had several meetings to go over songs and make sure he got the timing just right. He was easily reachable by call or text and was so kind every time. Everything was perfect. He even played games with guests during dinner which lightened up the mood. The music was so good for dancing even the vendors commented on it! Manny also recorded several moments throughout the ceremony and reception which was amazing because we didn’t have a videographer. Thank you Manny for being so amazing and being apart of our special day!

  Perfectly customized and memorable

  Just perfect. Both DJ and Photo Booth was so easy to arrange and so detailed that it fit into our special day with so joy joy and memories. The dancing and Dj details was so very customized and the Photo Booth made for epic memories. Manny and team are exceptionally recommended.

  Manny was ABSOLUTELY amazing as our wedding DJ! He was so incredibly helpful from start to finish with planning out the music and flow of our wedding! The entire ceremony and reception went off without a hitch and was so seamless. He kept the energy going all night and we couldn't have been happier with the way everything went.

  Manny was AMAZING! We are so incredibly happy that we chose him as our DJ for our big day! He was so easy to communicate with and came up with great ideas to customize our perfect day! We also used his photo booth that his wife worked and it was a major hit with all of our guests! Everyone had a blast and we all didn’t want the night to end!   My fiancé and I found Sound Illusions through a referral from our photographer. Who doesn’t love a referral from another team who has seen the DJ in action? Manny was very responsive to all my messages and scheduled a call right away to see if it was a good fit. I could immediately feel his energy through the phone and knew this was the guy I wanted to DJ my wedding. He was very organized and really listened to what we wanted. He also suggested games he could play during dinner service to keep the guests engaged and the atmosphere light-hearted. It was a total hit! The night flowed so smoothly and I kept getting compliments all night (from the guests to the venue staffs) about how amazing he was. If you’re looking for an amazing DJ/emcee who goes above and beyond for you, then Manny is your guy. :)

Everything from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception ran so smoothly, thanks to Manny. 45 minutes into our cocktail hour I started receiving multiple compliments from our guest about how amazing he was.   Manny at Sound Illusions was our choice for my daughter's wedding at Flora San Diego. From start to finish, he was responsive and easy to work with. He accommodated all our requests, and working as the MC as well as DJ, the wedding went so smoothly! I would highly recommend Manny for your next event!

  Manny is amazing!

  Manny was recommended to us by our venue, Leo Carrillo Ranch. We are so happy that we went with him, and he was amazing throughout the whole planning process. He helped us create our timeline and gave us so many ideas, which we really appreciated. Everything was perfect on our wedding night and he played everything that we asked! We provided him with a playlist and he picked the perfect songs at the right moments😊My sister incorporated music into her MOH speech and he worked with her privately ahead of time, which was such a great surprise. I also had a lot of very specific ideas for music walking down the aisle and he executed everything flawlessly. We definitely recommend him, thank you so much Manny!!

We provided him with a playlist and he picked the perfect songs at the right moments😊My sister incorporated music into her MOH speech and he worked with her privately ahead of time, which was such a great surprise. I also had a lot of very specific ideas for music walking down the aisle and he executed everything flawlessly. We definitely recommend him, thank you so much Manny!!

  Best Wedding DJ Around!

  Manny is absolutely fantastic! We hired him as our wedding DJ and from the first phone call I felt at ease working with him. We reviewed the general process and he sent me a link to a site that recapped everything we needed. When we got closer to the wedding day he checked in with me and even gave me advice when I needed help picking certain songs! He completely understood our vibe and got EVERYONE dancing the entire time! I can’t say enough great things about him. Planning a wedding is stressful with all the decisions you have to make, the decision to hire and work with him was one of the best and easiest to make. Thank you Manny!

  Best dj/mc!

  Manny was our DJ extraordinaire, MC for our wedding on 10/8. He is very experienced and very professional. He went ahead of time to check out our venue as it was a newer spot, came to the rehearsal dinner to do a sound check and coordinated with our wedding planner. We also loved the uplights and PhotoBooth his wife helped our guests with. They are a sweet team. Two previous brides/friends of mine in San Diego highly recommended him and he didn’t disappoint!! Manny played a great mix of Spanish and English songs, read the crowd well and helped us throw a great party!

  Perfect DJ and Photo Booth

  Manny was perfect! He was so helpful throughout the wedding planning and made everything so easy and smooth. The photo booth that was run by his wife was also great. They made our big day so much fun and I highly recommend them!
