Great Experience

From planning to execution, Steffon and Arlene ensured that they understood what we wanted and met/exceeded our expectations. Not just playing music and keeping everyone engaged (which they did the entire night), but also in coordinating with other vendors and making sure the entire night flowed organically without missing any major moments. They helped make our night amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

They made my wedding perfect.

Sound fusion is the absolute best. When you meet Arlene and Steff you are greeted with genuine warmth and a big hug. From the first meeting with them you talk like you've known them your whole life. They truly care about everyone they work with and remember all the little details you share with them. When I first started looking at DJ's I didn't realize just how much they do for your wedding. The DJ is responsible for the timeline and flow of your wedding. Sound fusion does an amazing job at making sure things run smoothly. In my opinion the music you play at your wedding is so important because it tells your story and it sets the tone for wedding. DJ Steff had everyone dancing the whole time, it was a fantastic party. They really did make my wedding perfect.

Sound Fusion Entertainment is the glitter glue that held our wedding together! Jokes aside, our May 12 wedding was a dream. Arlene and Steffon walked us through all of the things we never thought we had to think of, managed the flow of the day (and even some rowdy family members). We are so thankful and can't say enough wonderful things about Sound Fusion. Also, Arlene and Steffon truly embraced our family during the planning process, which was amazing. We are hoping to have more special occasions soon so we can work with them again... and again.. and again. Maybe they don't have plans for Thanksgiving yet... my mom throws a great event! Sound Fusion is who you need to choose to turn your party into an epic evening. The warmth and passion that this team has for music shows in everything they do. They took the time to sit with us before our wedding and listened to our thoughts for our wedding. While sitting there they choreographed our evening from start to finish. Our guests were on the dance floor all evening. We could not have had the wedding of our dreams with out Sound Fusion as a part of it. #dreamteam

I don't even know where to begin with Arlene and Steffon because they are seriously the best! From the very first time we met them they had a cute little welcome gift, and our second meeting more treats! They took so much time to talk to us and get to know us and the music we like and type of wedding we wanted and they nailed it! At the wedding when anything went wrong Arlene stepped in and went out of her way to help and get us what we needed. She made sure everything went well for us not because she had to but because she cared and she wanted to. Not only are they amazing DJ's they are amazing people. Good people who go out of their way for people are rare these days. You two are gems! We adore you guys and Travis and I seriously cannot thank you enough!

Meeting Arlene and Steffon, the owners of Sound Fusion was one of my favorite parts about my wedding planning process. I seriously cannot say enough amazing things about these two! First of all, Arlene has one of the most incredible personalities I've ever encountered and she knows how to create an instant connection with you. You can tell that Arlene is TRULY passionate about what she does and that's why everything she does is golden. I actually had hired and fired TWO dj's during my planning process before I stumbled upon Sound Fusion. They immediately changed my opinion of Las Vegas DJ's. From my first phone conversation with Arlene I could tell that she knew exactly what I wanted. Our first in-person meeting felt like I was catching up with an old friend, like we had already known each other for so long. Every time I walked into her office I was showered with thoughtful gifts and warm hugs from her and Steffon. They truly are the absolute BEST people in this industry without a doubt. Sound Fusion had many packages to choose from and Arlene worked with me and my budget and went way above and beyond to give me the absolute best package without compromising my budget. She even threw in freebies that I SO didn't deserve but am extremely grateful that she did because she had absolutely no reason to since I was ALREADY so happy with them, then they sweetened the deal! I seriously couldn't have asked for more! They executed our music PERFECTLY and even handled fading in and out songs that were not cut for mother-son dances within only about 2 days notice of the event. Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of our hearts Arlene and Steffon for being so amazing, thoughtful, passionate, talented, and inspiring. The love you two have for each other is so special and the love you have for your clients is truly unmatched by anyone in the wedding industry. I am the biggest fan of Sound Fusion Entertainment (new husband would be #2 fan) – Arlene and Steffon are beyond amazing!! I was so fortunate to come across them at a bridal show and I knew then and there that they were the team I wanted for my wedding. (I wasn’t sure at first if I’d be able to afford them – but they are legit worth every penny – cut somewhere else, if you need to!) They both have such amazing energy and genuinely care about their clients…and that is a really important quality to find when you’re planning such a personal day. At every turn, I was surprised with a sweet detail or piece of advice to help me through the planning process. Arlene is also super organized and detail-oriented, which is great for a Type A bride like me – knowing she was on top of it put me at ease…one less thing to worry about. (Had I known before booking other vendors that she also did wedding planning, I would’ve hired her in a heartbeat.) But being lucky enough to have them as premier DJ/MCs for my wedding day was awesome in and of itself! They had some great recommendations to complement our unique musical tastes and I heard SO many compliments about the music at the wedding! At any given time, they always had a crowd on the dance floor and the songs mixed seamlessly – the overall flow and vibe just worked – they know how to read a crowd! Beyond the excellent music, their MC services were absolutely critical to my stress-free wedding. All my guests were well informed and knew when and where to be for specific events…that, my brides-to-be, is a lovely thing. I am so thrilled that Arlene and Steff were there for my special day (they made me smile just being there!) – thank you both sooo much for helping making it the perfect day!! <3

The music and entertainment at my wedding was a HIGH priority and choosing Sound Fusion was the best decision we made! I was very specific about what songs and kind of music that I wanted to be played as well as the order of events at the reception. When asking for DJ recommendations from other vendors, I got the same answer from all of them...Sound Fusion! We hit it off with Arlene and Stephen from the very first meeting. They were so much fun to talk to, yet they were still very focused and organized when it came to the wedding details. It was such a pleasure to plan with them! They created a planning form and timeline, and we stuck to it so I was never nervous of anything not being exactly what I wanted. They were flexible with changes we had, including changes to our bridal party days before the wedding, as well as minutes before the grand entrances when I asked Arlene to have all the guest surround the dance floor instead of stay in their seats. Without a hitch, it went as if it was planned for weeks. They kept the party going and the room entertained without putting any of the focus on them. We had a fun crowd at our wedding and they read them well by keeping upbeat music going when everyone was on the floor dancing. During our final planning meeting we thoroughly discussed the exact songs and genres that we wanted played as well as songs that were definite no's, and they played everything exactly as we discussed. If our guests requested any songs, Arlene would run it by us first to see if we were okay with it. I cannot say enough amazing things about Sound Fusion and Arlene and Stephen!!! We had the dynamic duo for our wedding and it truly was perfect!

This Review is for both SEMPER FI EVENT PLANNING and SOUND FUSION ENTERTAINMENT

This review has been long long overdue. Our wedding was last June but as all newlyweds so many things had gotten in the way of us taking the time to send say a heartfelt THANK YOU to individuals who really made our special day, SPECIAL. This review is from the groom's perspective (of course with the insight of my bride), I'll be the first to say to all future grooms, definitely consider Semper Fi and Sound Fusion, your future wife will thank you!!
Planning a destination wedding seemed so overwhelming but I was so convinced that it was something that we can do ourselves. My wife was so adamant that we needed a wedding coordinator to tie all the loose ends together. Thank God I listened to her...Not only did we choose Semper Fi Event Planning as our wedding coordinator we also landed Sound Fusion Entertainment as our DJ. There's no better combination to have than these two incredible teams on your side.
Arlene's team of assistants, connections and overall personality truly made this potential hurricane and beautiful walk in the park. We had over 300 guests, 30 sponsors and over 30 in the wedding party, Arlene took on the challenge and executed everything without one thing gone wrong. She handled it as if it was her family, always smiling, showing genuine concern and her attention to detail is phenomenal.
DJ Stephen seriously brought the party with his choice of music. When we had our final call to discuss music, I told him what kind of genre of music we wanted and he ran with it, playing some of the greatest hits and even some that aren't normally played at weddings. Arlene and Stephen timeline of the entire night was spot on.
I can go on more and more but I hope you get the picture. They made our wedding day one that we'll never forget, not only for us but,our family and friends to this day, more than a year later everyone's still saying how much fun they had at our wedding...

Sound Fusion came highly recommended to us by good friends who had used them for a graduation party. Arlene and Steffon are a dynamic duo who we had an instant connection with. Arlene ended up as our wedding coordinator and Steffon our DJ. What we ended up with was a wedding and reception that was "a biblical party" as one good friend put it! Even our photographer said " I've never seen a wedding where 95% of almost 200 people were out on the dance floor all night long"! Steffon and his staff put on a great show starting with the cocktail music all the way through to the last dance. Young and old were enjoying themselves and it is a credit to the DJ for creating such a celebration. Their professionalism was first rate. They spent countless hours with us listening, planning, preparing and then doing. Arlene and Steffon, thank you for helping to make a very special day everything it was dreamed of being. DJ Stephen made the reception really special. Everyone enjoyed the variety of music and the dance floor was never empty. Stephen was able to incorporate all genres of music from oldies, pop, country, to hard rock & metal. Our guest all said that he made our reception was the best they have ever been to.

DJ Arlene spent hours on Skype with us during the planning process. She wanted to ensure that all details were perfect from how to pronounce people's names to our favorite songs to songs we did not want to be played.

Words cannot express how much we love DJ Starlene and how fun it was during our wedding day and everything in between. She was professional, flexible and understanding. She took time to get to know us and was very easy to talk to. She made our party an event we and our guests will never forget. She'll work hard to give you the kind of event you're dreaming of. Dj's Starlene and Steffon were absolutely incredible!!! Hands down the best Dj's I have ever hired for anything. I was so nervous about having to plan everything over the phone since I live in L.A. but on our first phone call, Arlene managed to make my stress go away and made me feel so comfortable. Everything was coordinated beautifully and they were wonderfully organized, full of energy, kept the vibe going the entire time and followed the timeline precisely! They followed through with everything they had promised and more!. They truly exceeded every expectation I had. Every guest had a blast! Arlene. What can I say about you that has not already been said? Honestly, with all the stress of planning a wedding, thinking about whether or not we were making the right decision about different vendors, or the timing of our day, you were the voice of reason and sanity during the whole process. When we were hoping to just find the right DJ to liven up our party, we ended up with a “DJing” superstar, wedding planner, confidant, supporter, and best of all, lifelong friend.

When you first meet with Arlene, she welcomes you with open arms as if you are a member of her family. She asks about what vendors you are working with and genuinely offers her help and insight about them all. Arlene will sit down with you and discuss what type of vibe you want for your wedding and take into consideration what type of music should be played. She is not only a DJ but amazing emcee. Everything flowed so well and Arlene made the wedding reception go without a single hiccup. She and Steffon kept everyone on the dance floor and there was so much energy throughout the night. The music was perfect for the style we wanted for our wedding party (90s R&B, hip hop, top 40, mixed in with club style electronica/mixes/mash ups).

I cannot say enough how important it is to not only have a great DJ, but emcee as well. It is being able to make sure everything is going on at the right time and coordinating all the wedding party to be where they need to be. This all happens because she coordinates with all your other vendors to make sure they are all on the same page. Having this all happen without a glitch/stop in the music is imperative to a smooth flow for the night. The wedding reception was truly stress free.

Arlene, Katrina and I love you so much and are so happy to have had you and Steffon at our wedding. All of our friends and family have been asking us to have yearly anniversary parties with you at the helm of the turntables. Thanks so much from the bottom of our hearts.

I can't possibly say enough wonderful things about Sound Fusion. I knew from the moment I spoke to Arlene on the phone that I had met my new best friend. She was so passionate about music and so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about weddings, I knew I was in good hands.

First let me say, the uplighting MADE the decor. My theme was winter wonderland and the purple-hue that filled the room was like a visual representation of the love that filled the room as well. I cannot imagine my ceremony or reception without the awesome uplights. And the GOBO was amazing. In case you don't know what that is, because I didn't before I met Arlene, it is your monogram projected by a light on to the dance floor. Arlene helped us to design the most beautiful GOBO exactly as we wanted it. It was a B with a snowflake and it was so beautiful and looks so amazing in pictures!

The music as well was just perfect. During dinner I had guests asking me if I had picked all the music because they loved it! I explained that I skyped with Arlene one night and we went through all of the kinds of music that my now-husband and I like and she put together the perfect playlist. I was very impressed because my husband and I have pretty different tastes in music, but she was able to fuse our tastes together to create a sound tapestry that expressed who we are and our relationship.

The DJ is the most important vendor in my opinion because they aren't just playing songs, they are controlling the whole flow of your night. It is so important to have someone that can make quick decisions based on your preferences to keep things moving in the event of any hiccups. Arlene was flexible and so in tune with our requests. She made our evening so perfect I can't express how happy I am that we had her as a DJ and that she is now part of our lives!

Arlene, Stephan, and I have had the pleasure of working together on many events. When it was my turn to be the one hosting the event, sound fusion was top of my list. I kept telling fiancé (now husband) how much I wanted them to dj our wedding. He didn't quite understand why I was so determined, until he met them ; ) the organization, attention to detail, and just fun loving personality sealed the deal and he could finally understand why I was so set on sound fusion. Thank you so much for an awesome evening, even though at one point it turned into karaoke. You have the patients of saints for dealing with our bridal party ; ) love you both!

Dj Arlene and DJ Steffon are the best! They didnt just DJ for our wedding they made our wedding as fun as it was! We got treated like family as soon as we decded to go with them, they were very helpful with everything that we asked them for. Sound Fusion Entertainment made our day lively and memorable. Music is one way to make your wedding unique so it was important to us that we picked a DJ that jived with our personalities. We are definitely a fun, music loving couple so picking Arlene and her team was like a match made in heaven! They went above and beyond to make our wedding so special. They worked with our matron of honor and our friend to surprise us with our first dance song during the reception. After watching our wedding video, I noticed that Arlene took the time to straigten out my long veil as I walked down the aisle with my dad. One other major thing was that she fought to make it to our wedding after being sick in the hospital for 3 days right before the big day. You won't regret choosing them as your DJ! Our dance floor was never empty and Arlene made our wedding run so smoothly!

My wife and I had not been to many weddings before so we did not really know what to do. We went with Sound Fusion after reading some reviews and then meeting them at a bridal show. At the bridal show Steff was playing music I loved and Arlene went over how they help set up a timeline for the wedding and cover every single detail. A few weeks before the wedding we had a 3 hour long meeting with the two of them and went over everything. Arlene even went over the layout for our venue with us and made some suggestions to move some things and she was 100% correct with everything she suggested. If she had not made those suggestions our reception may have been a failure.
The ceremony and reception were amazing. I had given Arlene and Steff some ideas of what kind of music I was looking for and they absolutely nailed it. Everyone during the ceremony was coming up to me and saying "Those DJs are killing it!" Arlene made sure our grand entrance, first dance, anniversary dance, cake cutting and everything were perfect.
Our choice of music was 90's hiphop and they covered it so flawlessly that everyone from all ages were dancing. When people requested songs that didn't really fit into what we wanted Arlene would check with us to make sure it was cool if they played it.
I wish there was another event I could have so I could have Sound Fusion spin for us again. I could not recommend them more highly enough.
***We also added on the uplighting for our wedding and it was worth every penny. The venue looked amazing lit up in the different colors!

I had a fabulous and fun wedding...BIG thank to DJArlene and her husband DJSteffon. They are not only the best for eachothers, but the BEST for any event. Arlene has such a sweet, energetic and uplifting personality. She is very approachable and accomodating. She definitely know how to control the crowd (and I had guests of all ages). All fo my guests was very amazed with the perfect flow of music played by DJSteffon. All of my guests was on the dance flow until the end of the night. (We literally was told that the night is almost over, so therefore, we need to mellow out). The prices are very reasonable and the service is really above and beyond! MUST pick for a DJ!!

Oh, where to start...? Arlene, arlene, arlene - if you didn't know that I married my husband you might think I was gay. Seriously, I love this girl. It is because of her that we chose Sound Fusion for our entertainment. We caught them in passing at a bridal show in Las Vegas and it was seriously like love at first sight (for me).

First and foremost, I was looking for a DJ/Emcee that would not wear a bowtie or a shiny vest, or start yelling at my guests to try and take over the reception, or start playing YMCA or The Macarena.

If that isn't reason enough to go with Sound Fusion... Why Arlene and Sound Fusion? If you ever have the pleasure of meeting this crew I would be extremely surprised if you weren't blown away by Arlene on the spot. She was charismatic, outgoing, and genuinely interested and excited about what she does. When I called her for the first time after the bridal show, which mind you was almost 4 months later, we talked for almost 2 hours! She wasn't trying to "sell" me on Sound Fusion - we just talked about wedding plans in general: where I was in the process, what vendors I had already lined up, etc. It was like I had found a "soul mate" in the best friend sense from another life.

Upon booking Sound Fusion, Arlene wasted no time in getting the process rolling. From setting meeting dates, to song lists, and even making sure I secured the rest of my vendors in a timely manner, Arlene was super-organized through the entire process.

I think the best thing about Sound Fusion is how down to earth they are. They have a ton of clients at any given time, but somehow they make you feel like you're their only one. Not only that, it's a family-owned business - Arlene and her husband Steffon are the ones who started it all. I met them together at our first meeting and you could tell that not only did they pour their heart and soul into their business, but that they were each others rocks - keeping each other steady. They had also been through the wedding planning process themselves not too long before us - so could totally relate to all the stresses and choices that had to be made.

Arlene also runs an event planning business, which if I had extra money I would have hired her for as well. But, this was just an added bonus in a DJ because her organizational skills are off the charts. A good dj is able to emcee an event and play music that gets people dancing. A great dj is able to do all this and help the wedding go as smooth as silk - which she did! Prior to the wedding, she coordinated with all of my vendors to make sure that everyone had a timeline of the wedding - which is huge for staying on track, especially when you have surprises for the guests built in. She even had a couple surprises for me up her sleeve, which just made the whole experience that much more fun and memorable.

I could go on and on about Arlene and Sound Fusion but I'm sure I've babbled enough. Just don't be surprised if you blurt something out like "Just DJ like you're my sister!" or when you're welcomed into the Sound Fusion Family.

Arlene and Stefan at Sound Fusion are absolutely incredible! From our first meeting to our wedding day, we couldn't be happier with the service they provided us. They made everything so easy for us and were super organized. It was great that they had an information sheet for us to fill out so they knew EXACTLY the type of music and songs we wanted played. Since they worked with my wedding coordinator as well, the timeline of our wedding reception was executed flawlessly. All of our guests commented on the awesome music and fun DJs. Arlene and Stefan helped make our wedding perfect! A CD of the music played, that was given to us at the end of the night, was such a great touch, too!

Sound Fusion is AMAZING!!! We were absolutely blown away after meeting with Arlene and Stefan for the first time. They not only are SO much fun and knowledgeable about all kinds of music, but they know the inside out of the planning and timing every component of the wedding which we learned the DJ controls for a wedding. They gave us a great worksheet to work off to provide our songs that we would like as well as what type of music we would like played at our wedding. My husband had all these crazy tributes that he wanted to do such as Michael Jackson and Boy Band. Arlene and Stefan made it work and it became such a hit at our wedding. They also have such an incredible attention to detail. Up until the day before the wedding Arlene was coordinating with my other vendors so that the timing of everything would be perfect. Knowing and trusting that they would do amazing job let us just enjoy our special day. Everything was seamless and smooth throughout the entire wedding thanks to Sound Fusion. They played the absolute perfect music for the entire time. It makes me so happy remembering how the dance floor was PACKED at our wedding! Exactly what we wanted!!! Everyone to be dancing their hearts out and having a great time! At the end of the night both of them gave my husband and I a CD of all the music that they played at our wedding. That was such a special moment. I absolutely treasure that CD. Thank you SOOOOOO much Arlene and Stefan for making our wedding so special. I could not thank you enough! You two are the BEST!!!

Arlene and Sound Fusion made my night UNFORGETABLE!!! I don't think I spent enough for the service they provided!! They were very attentive and made sure that my wedding was personal and special.... I still tear up when I listen to the CD they gave me! You don't realixe how important the DJ can be at your event, untill you have it and they make a HUGE difference!! I couldn't have asked for more!! Thank you so much again!!

Arlene and Steffon are awesome!!!!!! They were referred to us by Carrie Key at DragonRidge Country Club and when we had our 1st meeting with Arlene, we knew we didn't need to meet any other vendors, we were gonna book them just based on Arlene herself!

Arlene's attention to your details makes you feel like family and feel super specail and also makes you feel as if you nothing to worry about on ur what will be super nervous day. DJ Steffon's creativity with music completes their package.!!!! He also has this calmness to him, which you can feed off!!! :)

Expect nothing but the best from Sound Fusion!!!! :)

Arlene and Steffon... where to start? Having a destination wedding was quite challenging for us, but after getting in touch with Sound Fusion Entertainment, we realized our choice was a blessing.

All communication via email or telephone was with Arlene, and from the very beginning we were very impressed with her style, passion, organizational skills, and promptness. She also had great ideas for non-traditional dances - everyone loved the Anniversary Dance and Garter Exchange!! Also, our guests loved being included in the music choices with their "This Is How We Get Down" (and boogie!) program.

We met with Arlene and Steffon two days before our big day at a very nice restaurant (Mundo) Arlene recommended. The connection was instantaneous!! They are a great couple and radiate their love for each other!

On our wedding day prior to our grand entrance, Arlene took the time to find and congratulate us before beginning her duties as MC. DJ Starlene was absolutely amazing!! DJ Philip was assisting her, and everything flowed perfectly - the ambiance was high energy! Everyone, young and old were on the dance floor. It was the best day/night of our lives and Arlene was a huge part in making it so. The CD she gave us of our songs was the bubble on the champagne!! So sweet and thoughtful!

We HIGHLY recommend Sound Fusion Entertainment!! We love them so much...

My bride and I had the privilege of working with Arlene and Stefan from Sound Fusion Entertainment last October at the Las Vegas JW Marriot for our wedding. They came highly recommended by the award winning JW Marriot staff – they were referred to as “the best”. After meeting with Arlene the first time it was easy to see why; her attention to detail and organization skills were immediately apparent and she put us at ease with her professionalism and experience. She and Stefan were able to really “get us” and help us plan for the perfect music experience tailored to our tastes and style.

We had them handle the sound during the ceremony as well – I highly recommend adding this service. They worked in the perfect selection of music seamlessly throughout all the moments of the event.

Throughout the cocktail hour and the ceremony they kept the guests engaged and the event on track. Arlene is the ultimate MC in terms of energizing the crowd along with managing the timeline. And Stefan had everyone dancing. Another cool thing about them is that they actually mix and scratch – they’re the real deal. So many wedding DJs just work their generic playlist, but Stefan was reacting to the people on the dance floor, and the energy he created was awesome!

Everyone had such a good time at our wedding, and quite a few of our guests commented with high praise on the great job Arlene and Stefan provided.

They’re worth it just for their level of professionalism and organization -– but on top of that, they’re cool and fun!

Absolutely loved them. She was my favorite vendor of all to work with, and one of the most important. My big concern was around our guests having fun and catering to a wide range of age groups, and Arlene just nailed it and didn't hesitate to spend much time helping me feel confident it would be perfect. My guests danced all through dinner and were disappointed when the night ended because they were having so much fun. She's an 11 out of 10 and you'd be crazy to use anybody else. And, she's very supportive of your ideas and input and really helped bring my ideas to life (I had a Mardi Gras grand entrance).

There are not enough good things out there to say about Arlene and Steffon. They made our wedding day spectacular. Arlene spent TONS of time on the phone with me working out music and timelines. I would highly recommend Sound Fusion to anyone.

Made my wedding a night to remember. Had a few surprises in there that added so many magical moments to the reception. Even provided me with a gift afterwards. Music was fabulous. Everything I wanted! Would definitely recommend. Best money I could have spent. Everyone is still talking about how great the music was.
