One of the best DJs I’ve ever experienced! Not only did he DJ he also was personable. We enjoyed Paul being our DJ as he helped us navigate throughout the night and kept us on schedule. We wanted to do a soul train line and he made it possible
for us! All the music he played was everything we enjoyed! Couldn’t be happier. -

Our DJ was extremely hands on and informative! Being a couple who have never been married or attended many weddings, we were clueless on the process. Paul made sure to guide us from beginning to end. Extremely grateful!!! -

First of all we would love to thank Paul Estrada for all that he did for our dream wedding. If you have a wide variety of family he is the one you want. He made all major announcements in spanish for my grandma which we really appreciate. Everyone loved the wide variety of music and really appreciated being able to make requests and seeing that you did their requests too. We got so many compliments on how well you did with getting everyone involved with dancing and hyping up the crowd. You are very welcoming and did an awesome job! -

DJ Paul Estrada did an awesome job on our wedding day! We spoke over the phone the week of to talk about some of our special requests for muticultural songs and dances. He did an awesome job being prepared with everything we wanted and keeping the party going! Overall our experience was great with Sound Connections and I would recommend them for your future events! -

We had Billy Jack as our DJ for our wedding, and he was so awesome! He made sure everyone had a great time, he was fun, and kept the dance floor packed until the end! We couldn't have asked for a better experience! -

Ashley Sent on 09/29/2015I met with this vendor at the Bridal Extravaganza and who I met, who was awesome, is who was the DJ at my wedding and they were so nice and awesome! They were so accommodating that we even extended our time with them in our "after" party. I would highly recommend them and their pricing is great as well! Very knowledgeable people. -

Nikki Sent on 12/21/2011This was another vendor that was chosen by the Pelazzio (my venue), but yet another top notch choice by them as well! I cannot say enough good things about Paul Olsen, the owner of this company (who also happened to be the DJ at our wedding). He was very responsive to our special requests, and gave us some very good suggestions when choosing songs. He was involved just enough to help speed things along (cake cutting, garter toss, etc.), but also stayed out of the way just enough to ensure that things were flowing naturally. What I mean by this is allowed people to come up and make requests (I was okay with this) but still made sure that the order of events were getting done, and also talked us through the events as they happened (gave helpful hints during the garter toss; helped get people out of their seats for the dollar dance.) These are all very important things that your DJ must do. I would highly recommend this service to anyone that is looking for a DJ. -

Everybody was so pleased with the music, because it was a great mix of different styles, all the people enjoyed the games and it was a really fun party! They are really accessible and I would really recommend the All star Package. Having a DJ and an Animator is totally worth it!!! Love Them!! Thank you Paul for sending me two amazing DJ's! -

Shaudi Sent on 07/01/2008Our DJ, Koerte Knight with Sound Connections, was excellent! He took the time to meet with me prior to the wedding on several occasions to answer any questions that I had about the flow of the reception and the music to be played. We paid more by going with Sound Connections than another DJ had quoted us, but we are so glad that we went with Sound Connections because it was well worth the extra money. Not only did he play music (and get EVERYONE out of their seats), he played games and got the crowd involved. Our music selection was also not the norm because I requested to have some Persian music played at our reception and he had no problem playing it. We provided him with the CDs to play and instructions and he kept everyone dancing. I HIGHLY recommend these guys! They are great! -

Shanieka Sent on 12/05/2016This DJ (KD with sound connections) was the only reason my wedding wasn't the best I thought it could be. I was very specific on the packet that was given to me to aide the DJ in plying the music I wanted played, and he still asked me over and over what to do next during my reception. During the ceremony, I wanted 2 songs played, and then a 3rd song (accompaniment) for a soloist to sing while I came down the isle, but because he played the first song twice, he cut my soloist off abruptly to move on with the ceremony. On top of that, he handed a microphone to an obviously drunk family member to have a karaoke session at my reception, and she sang some distasteful song that I did not authorize (Robbing these Ni**as...). He also played very lame and ghetto music the entire night, and the volume was pretty low. I felt like he rushed through all of the reception events and poorly announced when things were about to happen, so guests were talking over our toasts, the cake cutting ceremony, and a game that we played. He was extremely rude to me also. I'm frustrated by this fact, and it makes me want to cry, but because of the professionalism of the staff at the Pelazzio, I can say that despite KD, I had the best night of my life. -

My weeding was magical in every aspect except the DJ. We were recommended to sound connections by the venue and wish we would have not taken them up on the recommendation. The DJ sounded very promising on the phone because he said he had 17yrs of experience and was very nice so I did not feel like I had to make a specific play list for him to go by. I am not even sure why they have you fill out a music packet because they do not even read over it. I asked not to allow people to request songs and that was one of the first things out of the DJ’s mouth. He only played music from the 50’s 60’s and 70’s and when I asked him to play a song he just ignored my request and played what he wanted to hear. I am in my 20’s and love to dance so when the music went south I had my photographer, wedding coordinator and myself ask him to play newer music and that style music only lasted three song then it was right back to the 70’s. When my husband and I did our grand entrance he called us the bridal party instead of bride and groom then just said “here they are”. No MR. and MS. with our last name or anything. For my bouquet toss I asked him to cut to the song we had planned for the toss and he just kept playing other music so I literally had to stand out in the dance floor with my bouquet so he would listen to my request. His music also cut out almost every 3 songs and the party lights we paid a lot of money for were barely used. If I could do my wedding all over again the only thing I would change was the DJ. If he would have just listen to our request I could of looked past all the other things but he needs more training in my opinion.
