Best. Wedding band. Ever.

BEST. WEDDING BAND. EVER. Did we move our wedding date to work with them? Yes we did. It was 100% the right move. My number one wish for our reception was a rocking dance floor, and Soulsystem Orchestras absolutely delivered. Here's why you should book them for your special day: They match your music vibe PERFECTLY. My maid of honor and I both hired them for our weddings, and while we both wanted a packed dance floor, we requested slightly different eras—they CRUSHED both! They truly listen to what you want and tailor the experience to you. They bring incredible ENERGY. From the amazing musicianship to the outfit changes, they keep the party going all night long. Our guests are still raving about them. They let the music speak for itself. Their goal is to play an unforgettable show based on your preferences, not to steal the spotlight with excessive commentary or emceeing. They're there to make YOU and your guests the stars. They roll with anything. My husband and I crowd-surfed during the reception, and they didn't miss a beat—they were totally game and kept the energy soaring. The Greatest Band!

Starting with my first conversation with Rob until the band stopped just after midnight, the entire experience with SoulSystem was superb! The music was awesome, everyone was dancing and the whole room was full of love in no small part thanks to the tone and quality of this incredible band. Can't wait to hire them again!

The BEST band ever!

Where do I start? They started playing and people never got off the dance floor. No one does Motown like this band. From costume changes to endless horns fabulous voices and just a great vibe! They really did make the wedding. I would highly recommend. Rob was easy to work with and everything worked out with no issue. I cannot recommend enough!! I'm only sad that it went by so fast.

WOWOWOWOOW! there are no words to fully explain what Soulsystem Orchestras brought to our wedding.. they MADE our wedding UNFORGETTABLE! EVERYONE & I mean EVERYONE was dancing & singing. Their carefully crafted list of songs they customize to YOUR wedding really makes a difference. Rob sources only the BEST based on your specific wants & needs for your day. They truly are so incredibly talented. One guest said "usually at weddings people are looking around but at your wedding, everyone was looking at the stage!" You won’t understand until you book.

There is no other option for wedding bands. Soul System Orchestra is by far the most talented, incredible, and worthwhile band I’ve ever seen play an event. Your guests will be blown away- the caliber of music isn’t “event” music- these are professional musicians and performers like ones you hear in concert. Their talent, warmth, and energy literally made my wedding. My friends and family were blown away, and the dance floor was packed. They are my favorite decision I made regarding my wedding. I can’t recommend them and Rob enough. Don’t spend days and months fishing through these entertainment group websites looking at covers of “Can’t stop this feeling”. Just book soul system. I literally fu$k*ng love them.

NYC Summer Wedding

All I can say is WOW! Our night was so much fun that I am actively planning a second party just to enjoy another night of music and dancing with Soulsystem and our friends. We worked directly with Rob Affuso to plan our event and he was a pleasure. He took the time to understand our vision for the evening and he far exceeded our hopes. It took 3 days for the feeling to come back in my toes because once we started dancing we did not stop until the music ended. Best part is that it was not just us dancing- it was everyone in attendance. Even the venue staff joined in - making the entire experience incredibly memorable. Do not hesitate to book this band if you want to have the best night ever.

Choose Soul Systems for the event of your dreams

We had the time of our lives at our wedding with Soul Systems. We’ve been to MANY weddings, as had our guests, and countless guests ran up to us raving about how it was the best band they’d ever seen. They were truly talented musicians (next level), professional, and had an incredible way of reading the room and playing the right song at the right time. The dance floor was PACKED the entire time. They were also very accommodating of several special requests we had (unique songs, groom and father played a song with the band, an original piano composition for the ceremony). We couldn’t believe how incredible the group was every step of the way. If you want the event of your dreams, go with soul systems.

50th Birthday Party

Still on a high from my 50th — and I have to give massive thanks to Rob Affuso and the Soul System Orchestra for putting on an absolutely EPIC performance. From the first note to the final encore, they brought unmatched energy, talent, and showmanship that had every guest on their feet all night long.

Rob didn’t just play — he commanded the stage with the kind of charisma and precision you’d expect from a true ROCK LEGEND. The entire band was flawless — musically tight, visually electric, and perfectly in sync. Every detail, from set transitions to crowd engagement, was executed with the kind of professionalism that only comes from years of experience and passion for the craft.

Their setlist was the perfect blend of classics, high-energy dance tracks, and rock anthems — it felt like a private concert at Madison Square Garden. With over 250 guests, everyone kept asking where I got the band because they said it was the best performance they had seen!! But what truly stood out was their attention to detail. From the soundcheck to the final curtain call, they made the entire experience seamless, truly engaging, and unforgettable.

To anyone planning an event — wedding, gala, milestone birthday, corporate event, whatever — do yourself a favor and book Soul System Orchestra. They don’t just play music — they create moments. And my 50th was filled with them.

top notch. can't be beat. one of our best decisions in this process!

As my husband says, "Soulsystem was electric." Indeed, this band rocked the house. I'd say the band was our MOST important investment for the wedding- all that really mattered to us was that we had a kick-ass band. Soulsystem delivered. Throughout the process leading up to the wedding and on day-of, Rob and his team were professional, kind, thoughtful, fun, and creative. They tailored the set list to match what we envisioned for music (as we're both from Jersey, they ended the night with a few Bruce songs, which just sent everyone into a frenzy) while also bringing their own guidance, flare and intuition to the design of the night. We had our dinner and dancing in separate rooms, and I was concerned about the smoothness of the transition from one space to the next. Two members of the band preformed a brass second-line to lead all guests into the dancing space. It was epic. We've had many guests reach out to us since the wedding, and every reflection from the wedding includes, "and that BAND. Oh my god. How/when can we see them preform again." The night would not have been everything that it was to us without this band. We are so grateful, and we cannot recommend them enough!!!!!

Easy to deal with and very responsive

Soulsystem Orchestra was the major highlight of our wedding. The selection of music and the musicans themselves were excellent. We received so many compliments on the band. Despite the oppressive heat we all endured that day/evening we all crowded the dance floor and had the best time.

Soulsystem Orchestra was absolutely amazing and truly made our wedding night a huge success. All of our guests have not stopped gushing about the talented musicians on stage. From start to finish they listened to our vision and fully delivered. We had them play instrumentals at our ceremony, cocktail hour, and shortly after the full band went on stage for the reception and immediately had our guests dancing. This is truly such a talented band, and we heard from many that they felt like they were witnessing a live concert. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an all star band for any wedding or event.

Book Soul Systems!!

Soul Systems Orchestra absolutely made our wedding, and was the heart and soul of the best night of our lives. We booked Soul Systems having only heard glowing reviews and seeing videos online, so we didn't quite know what to expect at our wedding. As soon as they started playing, we were blown away. All of our guests spent the whole night on the dance floor (exactly what we were looking for), and everyone has raved about them since. Working with Rob was great, and we cannot thank Soul Systems enough for being an absolute blast. Now we need all of our friends and family getting married in the future to book them so we can keep the party going!!

Soulsystem Orchestras exceeded our already high expectations (from recommendations)! Once the music started, no one sat down and people raved about the music after the wedding. Customized High Level of Fun

SoulSystem Orchestras has played a handful of weddings I have attended (approx 5) for very close friends and family and most recently for my own wedding. What makes SoulSystem so incredible is that each experience has been different and unique to the couple's personalities and the level of professionalism and musicianship remains at the highest level.

My wife and I had a destination wedding in upstate NY, at least a 4 hour trip for the band. This meant that the band had to arrive on Friday, so not only was the band supper accommodating to us, they even offered to play the welcome drinks after the rehearsal dinner. For a wedding of 175 people, no less than 170 of them were up on the dance floor AT THE WELCOME DRINKS!!! They completely delivered with a great set list that brought the party on the first night and then over delivered again the next night for the wedding with a completely different but outstanding sound. After the wedding, the band joined the afterparty and they couldn't have been a more fun and down to earth group and genuinely was happy to celebrate our wedding like they were our childhood friends.

When I hear of anyone hosting any sort of even that could have a band, I immediately recommend SoulSystem and give them Rob's contact information.

Best night ever!!

This band is THE wedding band! Cannot say enough about how the managed the energy and fun of our night and absolutely rocked it. You'd be lucky to have them, and they are worth every penny. They mastered an awesome rendition of our chosen first dance song, and worked in every one of our preferences throughout the night.

Multiple people have since told us that was the most time they've spent on a wedding dance floor - all thanks to Soulsystem!

SoulSystem Orchestra was the ultimate wedding band!!

Soulsystem Orchestras performed at our son/daughter-in-law's wedding in Hudson, NY. WOW! They were easily the very best wedding band we've ever experienced! Big, talented ensemble that never stopped from beginning to end. The dance floor was flooded with guests all night long. Everyone - young and old - absolutely loved them. Two weeks out from the big night, and we're still getting rave comments from friends and family. Can not recommend more highly!

Absolutely Incredible!!

Words escape me to describe the incredible experience that Soulsystem Orchestras provided for everyone at our daughter's wedding. The level of talent, dedication and showmanship that this band displayed at our event was beyond anything we have ever experienced, and we've been to more than a few weddings in our life! All of our guests couldn't stop talking about the music and there was good reason. Rob was incredibly responsive and proactive from day one to our daughter and fiancé's musical preferences and tailored a musical event that no one will soon forget. Feedback: "best wedding ever", "I didn't know I was going to a concert", "I've never seen a band like that, ever". The depth of musical genres that Soulsystem Orchestras is able to mine and deliver flawlessly is literally breathtaking - everyone was in awe. A craft beer commercial once said "don't drink lite beer - eat less chips". Our advice would be if you're on a budget, skip the premium bar package, get a few less flowers, and get Soulsystem Orchestras, because it will change your wedding from "just another wedding" into something everyone will remember for a very long time. Thanks to Rob and everyone at Soulsystem Orchestras for making our daughter's wedding a night of enchantment.

Outstanding Band

Amazing! Rob and Soulsystem Orchestra are incredibly talented musicians. The entire experience, from the initial inquiry to the night of the wedding , was seamless. Due to the pandemic, the wedding date and venue had to change several times. Rob was gracious, understanding and upfront navigating through all of the changes. The music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was phenomenal. EVERYONE, from age 16 to 90, raved about the music! ("This is the best band I've ever heard!"; "I feel like I'm at a concert."; etc.) Rob and Soulsystem Orchestra helped create an unforgettable event. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Rob and the entire Soulsystem team- they are truly outstanding. My husband and I are from Boston and knew immediately that if we wanted our wedding to be a party, Soulsystem was the band to book. Rob was helpful, accommodating, patient and knowledgeable leading up to the wedding day. He knows exactly what to do to get the party started.. and for it to never stop. We had the time of our lives, and based off of the dance floor, so did the rest of our guests! They truly are unlike any other event band we've ever seen - the musicians and vocalists are fun, outgoing, talented and engaging. What more could you ask for?! Playin’ on and on...all night long

If you want your family and friends dancing all night...and you appreciate phenomenal music entertainment, look no further than Soul System. The way this band combines fresh crisp sound with their own interpretation of 100’s of songs through 40+ decades, leaves one with a jaw-dropping fascination and obsession with their talents and ability to entertain. They can do it all, and are willing to help make your wedding one to be remembered for years to come. Their sound, energy, professionalism, and commitment to their customers is like none other. They genuinely love making people happy, and the happier their customer is, the harder they play! Soul System performed at two of our daughters very different weddings, and so many of our guests have told us that those two weddings were the best ones they had ever been to. Father of The Bride

Soulsystem is an amazing band for a wedding. We had them play for our oldest daughter 3 years ago, and for our youngest a week ago. Our guests did not want to leave the dance floor!! The more Soulsystem played, the more energy on the dance floor. They added another dimension to a magical event!! I highly recommend them.

Amazing. Just amazing.

We could not have been happier with SOULSYSTEM. My husband and I (parents of the groom) have family in the music business and frequently hire bands for various functions. SOULSYSTEM blows away every other band -- both in how they sound (unbelievable talent) and in the professionalism they demonstrate. They spent time prior to the wedding talking to the bride and groom (and parents) to assure that the party had the music and vibe they wanted; they were at the venue with plenty of time to set up; they ran the reception beautifully; and the night was a huge success -- in large part because we had Rob and SOULSYSTEM.

BEST Wedding Vendor Decision!

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was choosing Soulsystem Orchestras as our band. Rob is incredible to work with and totally understood the vibe that my husband and I wanted, from Frank Sinatra for our first dance, to my request to hear newer song renditions like Higher Love! From the communication leading up to the wedding, to the execution day of, our friends and family could not stop raving about the experience (and it took a while to get everyone to leave including a "one more song" chant, multiple times!) Soulsystem is professional, thoughtful and truly brought the WOW factor to our wedding. My only regret is that we didn't have a longer reception! Throughout the wedding experience, I truly enjoyed working with Rob and felt like a "person" whereas other larger companies/vendors I hired made me feel like a number and straight up "client". We loved them so much, we are going to one of their public performances for a non-profit next week just so we can see them again! I HIGHLY recommend Soulsystem for any event as they are not just a band, but truly performers! Thank you Soulsystem Orchestras for the most amazing and FUN night of our lives!

Outstanding sounds and memories

There are many opportunities to make your wedding day memorable to you and all who attend. Your musical selection is by far one of the most impactful elements by which to put direct our budget, and likely what will make the moments and memories of your reception outstanding, or not. Soulsystem was by far the best choice to make the wedding not just music filled, but a vibe and energy that is rarely experienced. Many quests commented that they had never been to a wedding that when you turn around and looked, the tables were empty because everyone was on the dance floor. We had a blast, young and old alike. They had something for everyone and their performance exceptional. The only unhappy point was when the evening came to an end. The pictures and videos will forever be enjoyed and tell the whole story. Thanks Soulsystem.

THE BEST MUSICIANS who can truly make your event beyond spectacular!

Absolutely the most outstanding musicians and truly made our dreams come true. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire evening and we have had the pleasure of hiring SoulSystems for major occasions including weddings and birthday celebrations of importance. Out of this world tunes/energy

There are not adequate words describe how SoulSystem Orchestras rocked our wedding!! Rob is very pleasant, professional, organized and squares away details well in advance of the wedding. In dealing with him, it was clear that this band/band leader are experts as to all things wedding related and bring immense value with their knowledge of how to structure the ceremony and reception so that the day moves along smoothly/so that the fun and dancing is maximized.

SoulSystem played at our ceremony (string quartet), cocktail hour, and reception. Our ceremony music was breathtakingly beautiful and the quartet even learned a more obscure song for me so that I could walk down the isle to my song of choice. As for the reception, we requested that it be a fun dance party and SoulSystem delivered!!! The very large dance floor was crammed with our 250+ guests (of all ages) dancing, jumping and signing along to SoulSystem's mind-blowing tunes. This band knows how to hype up a crowd and keep them engaged!!

The first thing that every attendee said to us throughout the night and after was that they couldn't believe how incredible the band was and that SoulSystem was the best live band they had ever seen. Our only regret is that we cannot relive the night of fun and dancing over and over again. Massive thank you to SoulSystem Orchestras - true rock stars. You made our day so special.

There is simple NOT A BETTER BAND in existence. We've used them for two weddings, and hope we can have them perform for us again in the future!

If you want to have THE BEST band in the WORLD (not just the country) at your wedding, then you should book Soulsystem Orchestra ASAP! They performed at my older daughter's wedding 5 years ago, and the first call that I made when my younger daughter got engaged, was to Rob Affuso to book them again. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this group of talented musicians. They will MAKE your wedding. The band is the most important aspect of the reception and they come to have everyone PARTY. They play jazz for the cocktail hour, standards while everyone is eating, and then the dancing shoes come out! They literally sound exactly like the original artists. Some bands do a poor imitation, but not Soulsystem - they are fantastic. They have a "Rock and Roll Specialist" who my kids insisted on including. It was well worth it - you'd have thought that Bruce Springsteen himself was playing for us.
Everyone was dancing the entire night - and those that couldn't were watching the musicians in awe. I heard so many times from my guests during the night, the phrase, "Holy Shit - they are UNBELIEVEABLE!" Everyone who attended my older daughter's wedding 5 years ago asked us, "Are you having that GREAT band again?" Rob is a dream to work with - my daughter requested a few songs not in their playbook, and they learned them for the wedding performance. Even the string quartet in the chapel learned a new song for the bride and groom exit - "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns and Roses. It was gorgeous on strings! The Orchestra ends the night with a "bring down the house" song. Guests to this day continue to talk about how awesome it is. Again, If you want to throw THE BEST wedding that your guests will EVER go to, Book Soulsystem Orchestra!

Soulsystem is the best band out there.

Hands down and by far and away the BEST wedding band out there. We had previously heard Soulsystem at a friends wedding - and as soon as we got engaged we immediately booked them for ours. They keep everyone (from grandmas to teenagers) on the dancefloor all night and it made our wedding celebration what it was - everyone commented on how good this band was and how epic our dance party was. We couldn't speak higher of their energy, talent, or professionalism. It was truly a pleasure to work with them!!

They will make the party POPPING

I can't even describe how AWESOME this band was. They are unbelievably talented musicians and singers and they got in with the crowd and engaged them. They had everyone dancing and having fun. Many of my wedding guests said they're the best wedding band they've ever heard--and a few of my friends asked for their number to hire them for their own weddings! They made the party and we couldn't be happier. PS they do an incredible raucous hora! (Rob was also a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process and he was able to have the band play a few songs the we requested specially!)

Best band!

SoulSystem Orchestras exceeded my expectations! The band offers a diverse playlist and works with you throughout the process to ensure the genre of music played at your wedding reception fits you and the audience. They even learned a couple new songs for our first dance and mother/son dance, which was unique. They are extremely talented and inspired guests of all ages to join the dance floor (even those who are not dancers!). We cannot thank them enough for being a part of our special day. Soulsystem was incredible! They brought so much energy and joy to the reception. All of our guests were raving about how great the band was—in fact, so many people told us that the band was the best band they ever heard at a wedding. We agree! The dance floor was full the entire night and the music choices were just perfect. Rob and Soulsystem also put together the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour and both were just as spectacular as the reception. Rob was so great to work with and joyfully accommodated all of our special requests. It was a great experience working with him at every stage. We recommend soulsystem enthusiastically and unconditionally!

Best wedding band ever! From the moment we were engaged, I started looking for the best band we could find. Since starting the conversation with Soul System, Rob was extremely professional, friendly and made the process seamless. Rob listened as we explained the vibe and night we wanted - where everyone was dancing because the music was so good, the band focused on playing vs. MC-ing (one of our preferences) and someone who could read the audience. After giving Rob all the details, the night went off without a hitch and was perfect. Everyone danced so much, our photo booth was barely used and all our guests can't stop raving about how amazing Soul System was (even one month out!) and we feel the same! One of the very unique things about Soul System is that the band plays continuously so there's no awkward "break" where people lose interest and leave the dance floor. My only regret is not booking them for another hour, we could have kept dancing forever! I HIGHLY recommend Rob and Soul System Orchestra and wish we could do it all again.

My husband and I (and our entire wedding) could not have loved Soul System Orchestras more! They were absolutely amazing and made our wedding. Outstanding band! Great vocals and horn section. Rob played a set on the drums and brought the house down. Only experienced one other band in over 30 years that was comparable.

SoulSystem Orchestras was amazing! They were fantastic at the wedding--every guest came up and told us how great they were. They read the room well and kept the party going all night (and our wedding went pretty late). Having multiple lead singers helped a lot; they kept the songs fresh and got people on the dance floor. The band members were friendly and professional. Rob, the liaison for the band, is great to work with. Friendly, responsive and understanding of late changes. They are also very accommodating--they were able to do our cocktail hour and ceremony music as well. We should note that they were also willing to travel up to Albany NY for the wedding, and they were certainly a cut above the other Albany bands. In short, a great wedding band that did an amazing job. We also thought their price was reasonable for everything they offered and the very high quality of their performance.

I can't say enough about the awesomeness of Soulsystem. I was lucky enough to see these guys in action for my brother's wedding a few years ago and the experience for own wedding was nothing short of amazing. When I was looking to hire an orchestra for my daughters wedding, I was looking for
a group with high energy, authenticity in sound, and great rhythm. Soul System has it and more.
They are a world class orchestra, with a secret sauce which is their drummer. He will take your event
places you have never been. He also happens to be the orchestra leader and set the bar high in the sky
for his group. They are not only talented, their delivery is cool. Oh and the singers...you will not be disappointed.

Having a top notch band was always a priority for our wedding and these guys exceeded every expectation we had. When we first saw them play live at a West Village bar in nyc, we were sold. We still considered other well known entertainment companies that only allow you to watch overly-produced videos of bands or in one case, only allow you to watch videos of bands in their office and then put pressure on you to decide on the spot. If Soulsystem is available on your date, don't be stupid and book them! You will not be disappointed. My husband and I have lost count of how many guests reached out during and after the wedding to praise the band. Rob and his team played all of our must-play songs while feeling out the crowd for their song choices. The only negative is that you will not want to get off the dance floor and may neglect some guests. We spent almost the entire night dancing and probably not enough time making rounds table to table. Dance floor was full until the very end so they played a few encore songs. We also used them for the ceremony and cocktail hour and the music was beautiful. Also think they're a great value. You absolutely cannot go wrong.

Soulsystem Orchestras performed at our wedding a couple weeks ago, and single-handedly made it the best night of our lives. Our guests have been saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to, mostly due to the best wedding band they've ever seen. Everyone was on the dance floor for the entire night, and those who had originally planned to take the early bus back to the hotel ended up staying for the full reception. From song selections, to special requests and scheduling, Rob was a pleasure to work with in the weeks/months leading up to the wedding. If I could give more than a 5-star rating, I would!

Given the hype surrounding them, we had high expectations when we booked Soulsystem, and they CRUSHED every single one of those expectations. They made our wedding spectacular! There wasn’t a single person (age 5 through 85!) who wasn’t on the dance floor at least 90% of the night. Every guest (seriously) said this was the best wedding band they’d ever heard play, and many even commented that the evening felt like a concert – we totally agree, but in no way felt like that overshadowed our special night. Soulsystem’s talent and energy couple perfectly with their sincerity and unobtrusiveness, and the whole magical package allows them to somehow walk a fine line between putting on a hell of a show while making the bride & groom the center of attention.

Throughout the entire process, Rob was attentive, professional and fun. This was not a create-a-playlist experience. Rob had us rate a number of songs to gain an idea of our tastes and had us list a few “must-play” songs. With this approach, he was able to play great music we love while controlling the tempo of the evening. His lengthy experience with Skid Row & Soulsystem was clear to us and our guests, as each song blended into the next, perfectly complementing whatever was going on at the moment.

We will post here what we have been telling all of our newly engaged friends: WE CANNOT RECOMMEND SOULSYSTEM HIGHLY ENOUGH! You can’t go wrong booking this band - they are the best you and your guests will ever experience.

Soulsystem Orchestras is no question the best wedding band I have ever seen. All of our guests were blown away by their energy and ability to keep everyone (of all ages) on the dance floor the entire night! We forgot to cut the cake because we couldn't find one bad song to take us out of the dance party. They were so easy to work with and I wish I could do it all over again. Thank you Soulsystem Orchestras for the best night of our lives!

My advice would be to book Soulsystem as soon as you can. We visited showcase for many other bands and Soulsystem was head and shoulders above the rest. Rob was accommodating, responsive and overall a pleasure to deal with. He delivered on every promise and the vibe that the band set for our wedding was better than we could've ever imagined. This band is worth every penny and more. We literally received a dozen requests for the band's info after our reception and the dance floor was packed all night. Hats off to Soulsystem for a job well done.

SoulSystems is worth every penny... we are almost 2 months out of our wedding day and people are still telling me how amazing they were!! Not only did they play amazing music all night long..but they were wonderful dance partners as well =) Our family and friends never stopped dancing! Absolutely try to book Soulsystem if they're available. Rob and his team were professional, easy to work with, and -- most importantly -- incredible performers at our reception. They performed a perfect blend of classics, romantic songs, and top 40 hits, and played a central role in making the night memorable. Rob at Soulsystem Orchestras was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was totally on board with everything we wanted & we didn't want much MC'ing, just a DJ that could play a ton of eclectic music & get our guests to dance. He checked in the week & day of to make sure everything was finalized & I appreciated this immensely. As for our DJ (DJ Shiran), I can't say enough about him, he did an amazing job. We had music ranging from Oldies, Motown, 80s & Pop & he seamlessly transitioned between all the songs we requested. He was so helpful the day of (he played our ceremony music too) & was open to any of our suggestions. Everyone had a great time & were partying for hours, it was awesome!

Soulsystem is not just a band reproducing artists songs. They are exceptional performers presenting a production in which guests become engaged and part of the "experience". We recently hired Soul System Orchestras for our wedding. They are beyond phenomenal! From booking the date to going over songs, Rob was an absolute pleasure to work with! Not only is he a great guy, he is helpful, organized and happy to do whatever he can to make your event a success. The night of the wedding, the band was outstanding!!! This a band is made up of incredibly talented and amazing musicians. They are professional, well rehearsed, and sound amazing. We had people coming up to us all night telling us how great the band was. Not too mention, the dance floor was packed the whole night!!! We have friends who are musicians at our wedding and they couldn't say enough about the band. They were worth every penny and more. I want to get married all over again just so I can hear this band again. They are rock stars, literally!

To say that SoulSystem Orchestra is the "Best Band Ever" is an understatement.

The gave a truly spectacular performance by both the singers and the musicians. Many, many of our guests said "that was THE BEST band they had ever heard. Ever."

There is just no substitute for SoulSystem. No one even comes close.

Someone told me that it is Martha Stewart's favorite wedding band. I totally believe it. Their singers are astounding and they match their vocals to the songs they are playing. A few of their singers could have successful solo careers of their own - that is how good they are.

Their outfits (2 of them) were extremely tasteful and looked great. They also followed the script of the night perfectly. True professionalism at its best.

Simply put, they rocked the house down and had our guests on their feet dancing the whole night. They also nailed the slow songs. Jaw-droppingly good. Just beyond unbelievable.

We can't begin to express how well our wedding went because of Rob Affuco's Soulsystem. First I must say that I am a professional trumpet play (for the past 30 years) and I perform at many weddings with various bands. Soulsystem is by far the most impressive band I've seen.

My Wife performs on broadway and created a varity show where some of our guest performed. Let me say that Soulsystem nailed every song and sight read perfectly. After the show, they rocked out in the most funkiest fashion. I was also impressed with how well they played all the various styles of music (Swing, Reggea, rock, funk R&B, latin.....) throughout the evening.

I cannot recommend this band strongly enough! Thank you Rob and Soulsystem.

A couple weeks after my wedding, people are STILL telling me how hot the band was. My husband is a musician, so we had to have a smokin' band. And he insisted that we have this band. And man, I was not disappointed. They sounded FANTASTIC. A full rock band with a horn section is the only way to go for a party this important, and they sounded so full and rich! The singers sang their faces off, and what is also important, which I didn't realize til the day of, was that they were full of terrific personality. They are a big part of your wedding, so you want them to be people you like! The band played every song we wanted, and even some I didn't realize we wanted, like they read my mind. They are so soulful and funky. Book them, they will make your event fantastic!

Rob and the band had our dance floor packed all night! You cannot go wrong with Soulsystem. All of our friends have asked for their name after the wedding. Rob was so responsive and helpful throughout the process. Most importantly, he and the band were just great down to earth people. Soul System was beyond anything I could have imagined.

From start to finish, the music kept getting better. Their professionalism made everything so easy and seamless.

As a soon to be mother, this amazing young woman sang a beautiful song to me and my baby, which I will remember forever.

To finish off the evening, they sang "proud mary" and the singers included me in their dance and we thrusted until the last second!

Rob finished off with an unreal drum set that blew our minds.

The singing, the band, all of it is something I cannot put into words, but I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!!

I cannot say enough about Rob and Soul System. Our dance floor was packed the entire night! Rob was so great to work with from beginning to end, and even accommodated the changes that we made to the ceremony and reception. I kept getting asked where I found them. If you want your guests to be dancing all night long I highly suggest Soul System! We will definitely be having them back for parties in the future.

We are so lucky to have booked Soul System Orchestras for our September 2015 wedding. From the first song to the last song, our dance floor was packed and the energy in the room was so high. It was a pleasure to work with Rob leading up to the wedding. He gave us a lot of tips on song selection for the ceremony, cocktails and reception and helped us come up with a great agenda for the evening. He also made sure that the dance floor remained filled the entire time! We love Soul System so much and I can't wait to hear them again at my best friend's wedding in June 2016. SoulSystem was the BEST! From the contract process to the performance they were so easy to work with. They learned a bunch of songs we wanted and they played everything we requested and then some! They have a great understanding of how to handle the flow of the party and they truly were amazing.

The guests never stopped dancing and all anyone can talk about from our wedding is how great the band was. They definitely made the party and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to have a blast at their wedding!

Hiring Soulsystem was the best vendor selection we made for our wedding. Rob was a dream to deal with...he totally understood what we wanted to hear on our big night and he and his band delivered. Not only are they amazing musicians (the songs they play sound as good if not better than the original versions!) but they are awesome at engaging the crowd and interacting with the audience....our guest danced non-stop and had an absolute blast.

Look no further. You have found your wedding band. Whatever money they ask for, pay. Your guests will walk away saying "that was the best wedding I've ever been to." Rob and his crew make sure that everyone in the room is dancing from start to end. They're professional, answer all e-mails and calls within 24hours, they listen to your playlist needs, and are just all around great people. Awesome.

Soulsystem was absolutely incredible! Working with Rob throughout the process could not have been less stressful. He took the time to get to know us and figure out what "vibe" we were going for. This band was awesome!! We never heard them before, but we liked their DVD and decided to go for it. 10 months later we are still hearing about how great they were from people, some not even at the wedding who just heard them play. People down the street were dancing on their balconies they were that good! We even know 2 people who have already tried to book them for their weddings. Two things you can't skimp on at the wedding are alcohol and music. We had the entire 11 piece band and they were well worth every penny.

It was a pleasure to work with Soulsystem for our wedding in June. From start to finish the group was extremely professional and accommodating to our (sometimes unrealistic) requests. Hands down the best wedding band we have ever seen. Soulsystem played for our friends' wedding in 2015 and after seeing the performance they put on, we had to sign them. They hit all the decades and genres seamlessly and had plenty of energy to keep the guests going all night. Well done.

We chose SoulSystem for our wedding at the University Club in NYC after seeing them several other times in the past at friends' weddings. As expected, they did not disappoint. SoulSystem is hands down the best band you can find. We did our research and tried to be original after several of our friends had used them. But there is nothing that compares to Soul System. Rob (President of SoulSystem) runs an organized, thoughtful, and transparent process. Its easy to understand the options and pricing. Rob makes himself available constantly to answer questions. He makes sure he completely understands every detail that the bride and groom want. He made the night special and customized for our night. And the band themselves... unbelievable. If you like oldies, rock, pop. It doesn't matter. These guys can play everything. They not only sound great, but they do a really could job interacting with the wedding. We did not have a person sitting down our whole wedding. And afterwards the most common feedback we got was on the band and how great they are. I really challenge anyone to find a better choice than SoulSytem for their wedding band. They made our night unforgettable. And tiring (in a good way).
