  Best Acoustic & DJ money well spent!!!!

  Brent Nultemeier lead singer to SOULone went above and beyond to meet our wedding needs. He worked with us to overcome any Covid concerns. Brent helped us plan and execute the best ceremony and reception and anytime we made a change he would update our contract and call with any questions. Brent is a very talented musician and has the ability to play a lot of genre's with ease.
  He is very organized and helped us have an overall enjoyable experience with no hiccups in our wedding and reception. Brent brought up important points to consider when having a cottage style beach wedding. Brent and SOULone has the type of equipment to house any location and venue with high quality sound.
  He and Steven are high tech,professional and knowledgeable. Brent created high quality sound during our very windy wedding. He sounded awesome and all our guests enjoyed his acoustic music at cocktail hour and during beach wedding. Steven was our DJ and he really got the party started. No one was seated. He played all our requests and had the ability to access any song requested by our guests. I will remember what a perfect combination SOULone provided for my event.
  I look forward to working with Brent and hiring SOULone again.

  Incredibly talented, extremely professional, a sh*# ton of fun!

  All three members of soulone were amazing human beings. Not only extremely skilled at their craft, the professionalism in every interaction leading up to and including our wedding & reception were top-notch. We would hire them again in a heart beat. You can’t go wrong with these guys - if you’re looking for the best value party atmosphere in OBX, your search has ended.

  Excellent choice!

  Working with SoulOne was fabulous! We had a small wedding and SoulOne kept the party going from start to finish. The band was a pleasure to work with, very responsive, and open to some of our more quirky ideas! Thanks to every member of the band for bringing such talent, energy, and general good vibes to our celebration!!

  This is the ONLY DJ and BAND I'd hire.

  SOULone was a dream to work with. Brent was highly responsive, and very helpful in addressing all our questions. He was incredible during his set playing incredible music while our guests arrived, and during the cocktail hour. All our guest were raving about his set! Steven was a great DJ and MC as well! He controlled the crowd by building the energy up quickly in the room and then kept it high ALL NIGHT LONG which is exactly what we wanted! There is only one correct choice when choosing your DJ or band in the outer banks and it's SOULone!

  Welcome party turned CONCERT!!!!

  Our welcome party turned into a concert when we booked SoulOne. They were the most incredible live band I have ever heard. All of our guests were blown away! Words and videos do not capture just how talented this group of musicians are. Seriously the best part of our wedding weekend was listening to SoulOne play on our deck. We were dancing and singing along like we were at Madison Square Garden. BOOK THEM!

  Amazing musician and DJ

  Soulone was so great to work with! He was easy to communicate with! He has a streamlined process if you’d like services for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - or any combination of them. His guitar playing was beautiful for our cocktail hour. The reception was all about the dancing - everyone was out of the floor at one point or another :)

  Best wedding band ever

  Brent and his crew were awesome! Great music, great sound, we had a combination of band and DJ for our reception which was perfect. Brent did a great job with the ceremony and MC'ing the events of the evening. Easily our best vendor for our reception. 11/10

  Great group of guys!

  Met Soul One wedding weekend and went and watch them play locally.. Had the honor of having soul one for my rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception .. they went above and beyond for everything. Amazing personalities, crowd interaction and their music is amazing.. we had it all from the band to the DJ and they certainly did not disappoint so much that family are still speaking about them months later!!

  Hired for my wedding

  The band did a wonderful job planning for and performing at my wedding! Several guests said their music was the highlight of the reception. They were able to get people on the dance floor and keep them there all night. Very accommodating to all my spacial requests to make the night unique.

  Absolutely recommend

  We had an awesome time with SoulOne. Brent played acoustic guitar at our ceremony and then we had a DJ for the reception. He was AMAZING and people are still talking about his picks. He made my boomer mom and my gen z sister happy (he was very patient when my sister grabbed the mic and started singing). I would absolutely recommend SoulOne!

  SoulOne was amazing!! The guitar songs during cocktail hour were so lovely and exactly what we were hoping for. The DJing during our reception was so fun with laser lights and a fog machine and he knew how to get everyone dancing and played all the songs I requested! I had a timeline that ended up getting moved all around but they went along with everything and made announcements to keep the schedule on track. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!

  Kept the party going all night long!

  We started the day having Brent playing the acoustic guitar. It was so great and matched the vibe of our gorgeous day perfectly! Then Steven kept the dance floor packed all night long! All of our guests loved dancing the night away. We also loved the lighting they provided! So much fun!

  For any event that an interactive band is needed, these guys are great! They worked with the party to play as many request as they knew. Lots of energy and sound was great. I would and will hire them again.

  Hire SOULone immediately!!

  My husband and I just got married on 7/15/22 and with both being huge into live music, we had to have a band play at our wedding. We did a bunch of research and if you’re getting married… SOULone is your band. Brent (lead singer and manager) was great to work with, he played live acoustic for our ceremony, our guests loved the cocktail hour trio band and the best part was the reception. SOULone crushed it!! If you’re looking to have a live band plus DJ at your wedding and not into all the cliche wedding/top 40 songs then SOULone is your answer. Our guests and us were on the dance floor all night long. We are all still talking about how awesome SOULone was and wish we had more time to jam with them!   My husband and I just got married on 7/15/22 and with both being huge into live music, we had to have a band play at our wedding. We did a bunch of research and if you’re getting married… SOULone is your band. Brent (lead singer and manager) was great to work with, he played live acoustic for our ceremony, our guests loved the cocktail hour trio band and the best part was the reception. SOULone crushed it!! If you’re looking to have a live band plus DJ at your wedding and not into all the cliche wedding/top 40 songs then SOULone is your answer. Our guests and us were on the dance floor all night long. We are all still talking about how awesome SOULone was and wish we had more time to jam with them!   Brent was super amazing, the ceremony music was so wonderful and beautiful. He was very quick to respond and always eager to answer and questions or address any concerns. He worked super well with all of our other vendors which made the process so much easier for a destination wedding!
