I had the best experience with Sotos. I couldn’t recommend Steffen enough. Not only did he make the dance floor SO fun but also honored/followed all of our request effortlessly. He was extremely easy to work with & i never felt like a burden to work with him; if that was requesting something or ask questions. He even did more than we asked of him by helping us do special dances, etc. Steffen was my absolute best and favorite vendor 10/10. His wife also came along on our wedding day as his assistant and i later heard she stepped in to help my coordinator with a few items last minute items. Sotos entertainment is truly there to serve you & ensure you have the best night ever. He did above & beyond my request. One of the top mentions of my wedding is how amazing our DJ was. i could go on and on about how amazing my experience was with Steffen. If you can request him as your DJ i would totally recommend. I completely trusted him to host our wedding reception and he surpassed my expectations.

We cannot recommend Soto’s entertainment more. He and his assistant really were the best team. They were great at reading the dance floor and making the party lively. As a Latin couple from Florida we knew we wanted a Latin DJ that understood the kind of vibe we were going for and Soto’s entertainment really delivered. We’ve already heard from so many friends and family that they thought the DJ was great! Stefan and his wife were so genuine and just overall great people. We truly enjoyed working with them. Amazing DJ!
We are beyond thrilled with the amazing job Steffan did as our bilingual wedding DJ! From the very beginning, he was professional, responsive, and a true pleasure to work with. He took the time to understand our vision, honored the playlist we provided, and kept the music flowing perfectly all night long.
Steffan’s bilingual announcements in both English and Spanish were flawless. He made sure every guest felt included, which meant so much to us and our families. His warm and engaging presence really helped set the tone for a joyful celebration.
The transitions between songs were smooth, the timing was perfect, and the energy on the dance floor never dropped. Guests of all ages had a blast and several told us afterward how much they loved the music and the vibe he created.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! Steffen Soto was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We got a great feeling from him after out initial zoom meeting, as we appreciated hearing how he can incorporate a Latin flare to the wedding music. During the planning process, he was very responsive and created an organized wedding timeline based on a detailed questionnaire he had us fill out. During our wedding, Mr. Soto read the mood of the crowd perfectly, kept the energy up all night, and ensured everything flowed seamlessly. He played all of our favorite songs from our requested playlists and took the time at our wedding to check in and see if we needed anything. Beyond just the music, he and his wife were a huge help in coordinating the evening, making sure every moment was just right. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how much fun they had, and we owe so much of that to Steffen Soto and his wife. Highly recommend!!

Wedding October 2024
Steffen is so amazing he DJ’d for our wedding in October 2024 and did a wonderful job. He knew how to keep everyone dancing during the reception and did phenomenal with the music during the wedding. We also rented a Photobooth from him and it was the guest favorite. I’m so glad we were able to experience the best day ever with Soto’s Entertainment.

My husband and I just had our wedding in June. We loved Soto's; they did a great job with the music and prep for the wedding. Their pricing was also something we liked when picking out a DJ. We also loved how fast they responded to emails and how easy it was to set up a Zoom meeting to discuss details. We loved his wedding party intros, and overall, we recommend him for any event. Steffen Soto himself was the DJ at our daughter's wedding. He met with, listened and collaborated well with the bride and groom to be sure he met their expectations. He played fabulous music all night long and our guests danced all evening and had a wonderful time. He was flexible, accommodating, personable and did a great job managing the flow of the entire evening. We are very glad that we chose him and we received many compliments from our guests. Soto’s Entertainment made our wedding dreams come true!! They were extremely helpful in our song selection, flexible, and easy to work with! The announcements and musical flow from Ceremony to the last dance were seamless and perfectly executed. We chose to go with instrumental, modern music throughout our Ceremony. Soto's Entertainment did a beautiful job in helping us create this elegant/romantic atmosphere. Our Reception had a mix of salsa, merengue, hip hop, and pop. Soto’s Entertainment did a fantastic job of mixing these genres to encourage our guests to join us on the dance floor because we are a dancing couple and that’s right where we wanted to be with everyone. Great DJ and entertainment services! Especially for bilingual weddings!
We had DJ Steffan and Lisvette at our wedding a few weeks ago and we are SO happy we did! My family is Venezuelan and my husband is American and they did such a great job working with us before the wedding and during to accommodate all our different music tastes. He was great at mixing in Latino music with English hits and was all around just so nice to work with throughout the entire process. We really wanted our dance floor to be lively and full for most of the party and thanks to Soto's Entertainment that's exactly what happened! Can't be any happier with this DJ/ MC!
Soto Entertainment MC'd & DJ'd our wedding, and it wasn't a traditional wedding, in fact, it was a very complex party with not only a mix of white american family and hispanic families, but also a very musically difficult ceremony and reception sequences. He was able to keep people dancing all night long and everything was as discussed during our meetings.
Would absolutely use again for any other parties/ events I would need MC and/or DJ'ing.
PS: his lighting packages were also fantastic and we took advantage of it. being bilingual was a plus, not because we needed him to speak spanish, but because he knew the kind of music my side of the family would appreciate as well. also, he accommodated on-the-spot requests very pleasingly.

The perfect DJ experience, from start to finish.
Incredibly helpful during the preceding months of planning with giving advice and input on timelines, ideas, etc…. Was a true asset to us during planning and helped us answer questions that we didn’t even know we had.
Arrived well in advance, and immediately began coordinating with coordinator and my groomsmen to help get things set up; putting no pressure on the groom or bride.
Adaptive, attentive and energetic, Soto had the party roaring and I mean absolutely roaring right up until the venue was chasing us out haha. Soto can read a crowd and never let the crowd lose its momentum, even for 1 second.
I hope to never need another wedding DJ Haha, but I certainly hope that I can recommend this Team for years to come.

Must Have for Any Multi-Cultural Wedding
Soto's Entertainment is a must have for any multi-cultural wedding! My husband is Latino and I am white so the number one thing we were looking for in a DJ was someone who would be able to translate everything into Spanish so my husband's family didn't miss out on anything and to create a night with both of our cultural backgrounds coming together. There were traditional line dances, throw back pop, some classics and also bachata, salsa, and more!
Stephen did a wonderful job keeping everyone organized and having a good time! Transitions to various activities of the night were smooth and inclusive and the music was always lively! I am especially grateful for the time spent editing some songs we really wanted to include like Black Water as my Father Daughter Dance.
All in all, I can't say enough of great things about Soto's Entertainment and am so grateful to have had the chance to work with them!

Mr. Soto was AMAZING! He kept the party going no matter what! Our pictures ran over and he kept our guests entertained until we were done! My maid of honor even emailed him at the last minute for a special request, and he delivered! Sotos Entertainment is awesome! We spoke with Steffen during the planning process and he went over every single detail with us before the big day. Steffen & Lisvette were our DJ and they were already familiar with the location we picked and knew exactly where & how to set up when we shared the floor plan and ceremony plan. He understood our ask of music and played requests, our guest stayed out on the dance floor the entire night. Sotos Entertainment is the absolute BEST!! I seriously cannot thank them enough for the wonderful job they did at my wedding. Steffen runs a great business and I was very impressed with him and his crew. Steffen was the first person I spoke with during the planning process and he went over every single detail with us before the big day. When our wedding day rolled around he sent Cameron and Jacob to be our DJ Cameron is a great DJ and he kept the party rolling and got every single one of my guest on the dance floor!!! Both of the guys with this team are just outstanding! He also would check in with us periodically to make sure we were okay. I picked Soto's based on their ability to provide Bilingual services which was really important to me to make sure my Spanish speaking Grandmother would feeling included and able to understand the announcements during the wedding. Steffen was extremely accommodating with wedding be postponed TWICE. He was great at communication. He provided excellent sound, music, lights and announcements throughout the event and we received a lot of compliments about his service. I'm beyond thankful that I found Steffen to DJ our wedding! He made the entire process super easy and our wedding day even better. DJ Steffen and his crew did an amazing job at our wedding reception! He was very professional and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Steffen provides unremarkable dj services in a field crowded with many companies. He separates himself from the field because of his professionalism, day of services and communication. He was very organized and have us a process to organize what songs we wanted and when we wanted them played. He catered to us. And let me tell you, the night of the wedding, he got everyone on the dance floor and moving. And offers bilingual services. My wife and her family are from Dominican Republic, so wanted Latin music and things spoken in Spanish and Steffen do this with ease. By far one of the best DJ services out there!

Awesome DJ
Steffan provided the music for both the ceremony and our reception and did an absolutely wonderful job. He provided mics for the ceremony and was right on cue with the music. I wasn't sure what type of music would keep the guests on the dance floor so I gave him some general ideas and let him take the lead and I was happy to see everyone dancing the night away. I gave him a timeline for the wedding and he kept everything on track and running smoothly. He was easy to communicate with and responded to my e-mails quickly (right up to just hours before the wedding). I cannot say enough good things about Soto Entertainment, if they are on your list of choices I would definitely recommend you look no further, you will NOT be disappointed!

A DJ can make or break your wedding reception!
Soto's Entertainment and his team helped us create the mood we envisioned for our wedding perfectly! We had dinner stations and wanted our dance floor to be open as soon as guests were ready to dance. My husband and I didn’t want our guests to be glued to their seats for too long, which was one of our worries as we decided between floor plan, seating arrangements, reception timeline etc. However, our guests began dancing almost as soon as we made our entrance and had our first dance, which was awesome! After our stations closed, our dance floor was packed! What was super helpful was that Steffen helped us create a great timeline that made the evening run effortlessly. The timing of all of our events (e.g. father/daughter dance, cake cutting, garter toss, etc.) was perfect. And though some of these events “interrupted” dancing (we wanted things spaced out throughout the evening), it never killed the mood! Our MC (Edward) was very dynamic and was very skilled at redirecting our guests’ attention and making sure the party never died down. Our wedding was bilingual, and Edward did a fantastic job speaking English and Spanish throughout the evening. We are so happy we decided to have Soto's Entertainment and his staff be part of our special day. Super easy to work with, professional, and a very fun group!

Bilingual DJ kept the party going!
If you want to have a great time at your wedding, hire this company. Some of the requests we made for the music was very specific and he nailed it the whole night. During the reception, I can't tell you how many people told me how fun our wedding was and a majority of it was because of Steffen and his team! Honestly, my husband and I didn't expect anyone to dance after the traditional dances and boy was I wrong. We danced up until the last minute of the reception. Our family is bilingual so him being able to speak Spanish definitely helped bring both sides of the family together and made everyone feel included and welcome in the festivities. If we have a party in the future, I'll definitely be hiring him again for a good time!

A dance party coming at ya!
This company was recommended to us by our venue- Holiday inn charlotte center city, and I am so glad we booked them! Steffen, the owner, and his assistant did such a good job keeping the dance party going and the dance floor busy! During cocktail and dinner hours he would come up to my husband and I to make sure the music sounded good and we didn’t need anything. He and his assistant did a good job reading the crowd and choosing good music options. Steffen is very reliable, responsive with emails, and his prices are affordable. During the meeting we had before our reception we only requested 3 songs to be played, besides our entrance and first dance songs, and we allowed them to chose the rest and they did a great job! I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed!

All I have to say is wow what a party! I hired Soto’s Entertainment for my wedding over a year before my wedding because a friend recommended them and they were recommended by one of my other vendors as well. They were awesome! When I first called I spoke to Steffen, (the owner) and he was up front and direct with all the information and pricing and answered all my questions. I immediately reserved. Then we met closer to the day of my wedding to plan and organize all the details. On the day of my wedding Steffen and his assistant were awesome and very professional! Steffen is a true professional DJ and MC. His voice was awesome every time he got on the mic! He sounded so good every time he made announcements! His music was perfect and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Soto’s Entertainment DJ’s are very fun, professional and very organized. They are the best. The most amazing DJ
No words can’t describe how amazing DJ Soto was. He had all my people dancing, and I believe that was a hard task, as both of our families come from different backgrounds, but Stephen had everybody on the dance floor, and it was just so beautiful. Steffen definitely knows what he’s doing!! Leading up to the wedding he set up a planning call to go over timeline, lighting, music choices, and so many details I hadn’t even thought about prior to our planning call. On the day of the wedding Steffen arrived extra early to make sure he knew the venue. During the wedding he hands down got the party started! We used Soto's Entertainment for my daughter's wedding this past Saturday. Steffen (owner) is so experienced and knowledgeable, he actually managed us! He helped us get our timeline for the reception in perfect order, had tons of song suggestions for both the ceremony and reception, and best of all, kept everyone on the dance floor the entire evening! Excellent DJ for a Fun Wedding!
We chose Steffen at Soto's Entertainment for our Wedding Ceremony audio and as our Reception DJ after seeing him DJ a friend's wedding. Working with him was a breeze. He met with us twice before the wedding day to talk about specifics and an additional time to look at our venue. We were very particular about what music we wanted at particular moments and Steffen worked with us to make that happen. We were able to send him Spotify playlists for the music we wanted to play in the background during our reception also. And then it was time for dancing! We sent out song request forms with our invitations and were able to include many of the requested songs with the help of the DJ. I would recommend Soto's Entertainment to anyone who is looking for a thorough but fun DJ.

I had Soto Entertainment dj at my wedding and they were so great! They were very professional yet brought such good entertainment and made the whole event perfect! DJ Soto was the BEST!
DJ Soto and his team were extremely communicative throughout the entire process. They worked with my fiancé and I to achieve our ideal playlist, and were great about specific, obscure song requests.
Mr. Soto was also amazing at changing our schedule on the fly as multiple other things went awry on wedding day. He was both amazingly fun and understanding though-out the day’s events.

Couldn't be happier with our choice for a wedding DJ. Steffen Soto was amazing throughout the entire process - very organized, professional, reasonably priced, and fun! He did our ceremony and reception music along with Cameron - both were dressed very nicely, in suits/tuxes and were at the venue early to set up. The ceremony went very smoothly and for the reception, we wanted to have everyone dancing -and they were all night! They did an awesome job playing some Spanish music for my Puerto Rican family, which everyone loved! Steffen is also a very good communicator - always answers emails very promptly, which was important to me! We were pretty picky in choosing a DJ, and am so glad we found Soto's Entertainment!!!

I can't thank Soto's Entertainment enough!!! They did an amazing job at my wedding that literally EVERYONE was bragging about Edward, our MC/DJ. We loved that they dressed up nice and played great music. The sound was amazing! I had a bilingual wedding and he did a great job making sure everyone knew what was going on. I hired them like 2 weeks before the wedding so I was freaking out because I didn't know how this was going to turn out but Steffen, the owner, was on top of EVERYTHING! He made sure to ask the questions that my husband and I would have never thought about! I highly recommend Soto's Entertainment!!! I already have 2 family members that are going to be using him this year for their party!!! :D Thank you Edward, Steffen and everyone at Soto's Entertainment!!!

Steffen and his crew were amazing! We wanted to have a celebration that our friends and family would y’all about for years and Soto’s made it possible. We added karaoke to our wedding reception and it was the best decision! Our friends loved being able to sing their favorite songs. It got everyone up, dancing and involved. Mr. Soto was AMAZING!! The #1 thing my husband and I wanted for our wedding was great music and a full dance floor, and the Sotos were able to provide that and more! He made us a beautiful monogram that shone on the dance floor, and he added creative touches like the anniversary dance (in which he played my grandparents' wedding song, and we were able to see them dance for the first time in years!!). He helped coordinate a special line dance that the wedding party surprised the audience with, and every song thereafter drew a crowd out to dance (literally!!). It was a magical night, and it couldn't have been possible without the Sotos' talent. There just isn't a better DJ out there!

Soto Entertainment was very professional in the Dj services provided. Stephan made sure we had everything worked out and even made a personal house visit when pushed for time. The day of the wedding he ensured everyone’s request was heard while still keeping with our own requests and timeline of entertainment. He made sure all the intricate details were handled, from the proper name introductions at the reception to the smooth transitions from one event to the next on the program! His partner even stepped out onto the dance floor and had a dance off with a few of our younger guest which was a huge hit for everyone to watch! We would definitely recommend him for all your Dj services! His style continued to keep our guest on the dance floor and allowed all ages to enjoy themselves and have a great time! Me and my husband got married on October 7th 2017, at River Hills Country Club in Lake Wylie SC. DJ Soto Entertainment did a fabulous job! I would highly recommend them to anyone that has a wedding or a party of some sort. They were very nice and on time with all the music from prelude to recessional, and of course to the reception. Again, I recommend them to anyone! You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I truly enjoyed working with Steffen. He did the music for both our ceremony and reception. He was very communicative throughout the planning process and thought of every little detail – things we never would have thought of ourselves. He offered advice and recommendations for songs and how to structure the flow of the ceremony and reception, which was helpful since we had never planned a wedding before :) Steffen was open to our suggestions and specific requests for songs at both the ceremony and reception. He acted as our master of ceremonies for the reception, which worked out really well. We collaborated with him in advance to walkthrough our timeline and order of events. He helped out by making various announcement and directing our guests as needed, e.g., for our grand entrance & sendoff, toasts, buffet line, etc. He also offers great and affordable lighting packages. We went with the dance floor lighting which included a disco ball and laser lights that danced along with the music. All-in-all, we had a blast at both our ceremony and reception. Steffen and team played a large role in making that happen, day of and prior to the event. We would highly recommend having Steffen handle your wedding/reception music and DJ needs!

Where to begin?!? Steffen is AMAZING!!!! We had a 90s house party themed wedding and Steffen made sure it was the party of the year!!! Everything from coordinating our playlist to the rehearsal to the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were nothing shy of perfection! Some of our guests even tried to PAY HIM to keep going after the last dance!!!! How often does that happen?! We had a BLAST and I wish I could relive it again and again, and it is all a huge part and thanks to DJ Steffen Soto and his assistant (who even taught us some awesome dance moves)! Our guests are still texting us asking who the DJ was and if they can have a copy of the playlist. Everything was perfect and we are so so grateful to have found him for our very special day! Thank you Steffen!

Soto's entertainment will always have a special place in our hearts. Steven was so easy to talk to in conveying our vision especially because our wedding was a destination wedding. Most of our conversations were over the phone but the genuine person who I spoke over the phone was the same I came to know the day of my wedding day and Steven you truly made our day remarkable. The music was amazing, the extra details for ceremony and reception are still spoken about amongst our friends and family. I come from a musical background and everyone had to do with our entertainment for the night. Soto's entertainment kept us on our feet, Steven is an incredible Mc and I loved that he was animated, professional and super involved. Towards the end of the of the night it was party time and Steven brought our the glow sticks and glasses and everyone flipped out. If you want the best call Soto's Entertainment!!! Loved that he made time to meet with us to get more of an idea of what kind of music we both wanted and loved. We told him we wanted to dance the night away and we sure did! Sotos was such an amazing choice for our wedding!
So many guests had complimented us on the music from the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and late night dancing. The music was a huge part of keeping everyone out on the dance floor. There was a good variety for all ages which is exactly what we asked for. Steffen met with us before the wedding to go over all the details and kept in contact throughout the planning process too.
I'd recommend Sotos entertainment to anyone looking for a dj/mc. They are very professional, timely, and easy to work with.

We had another dj planned out for our wedding but we ended up contacting Sotos only one month before our wedding and he couldn't have been more professional! We met with him right away and he provided a detail list of the songs and always made sure our needs were met. He made sure to keep us updated and we have plenty of contact before the wedding. I came across Soto's Entertainment by a random "venue shopping" for our wedding in Charlotte. This company was not on the venue's list, but the person who gave us a tour, recommended them as they were one of the few bilingual DJ/Entertainment company in Charlotte, NC. I cannot say anything but good about them! He worked with me while I was still living in Puerto Rico and was willing to travel to our wedding venue in Lake Lure. When we met Steffen in person a few weeks before the wedding, he helped plan our timeline and to make sure we had enough time to really dance. Our wedding was amazing! He is bilingual and it helped a lot with some of my family members. To this day, people are still telling us how much fun they had at the wedding and how they loved the music. We played spanish, country, rock, top current songs etc. I would recommend him in a heartbeat! Such a sweet couple and so professional, I will forever be grateful for them and making sure everyone got up and danced!

Reception was by FAR the best I have seen. There were a wide range of ages in the guests we had, and I still never saw the dance floor empty. It was perfect blend of music for a variety of generations. They did an awesome job of mixing it songs that get you dancing, classics that everyone knows, and new age. Couldn't have asked for a better dj, we had an AMAZING time!

Steffen from Soto's was amazing to work with! He's polite and professional, and even took time to meet with us in person! Most of my wedding vendors handled everything from start to finish via email. We had to make a significant change to our event about 3 months beforehand and Steffen was very responsive and flexible! We were able to watch sample videos and Steffen has great music recommendations without being pushy at all! I'm so, so happy we chose Soto's!

Soto Entertainment was fabulous. Our wedding guests commented that he was the best wedding DJ they had ever experienced. He kept the party going until the last second of our wedding. Almost all of our guests were out dancing, all the way from the tiny flower girls to our elderly family members. At one point, even the DJ came out and danced with us. Soto entertainment helped us create an unforgettable day for us and all of our guests.
