The absolute BEST!!
Loved working with this bakery!! Everyone was so professional, prompt and thorough; really couldn't ask for better service. The cake itself was so moist and flavorful with the butter cream, bavarian cream frosting selections paired with our 3 tier (yellow, marble and chocolate) cake 💖 the cake was absolutely beautiful even though we kept it really simple with the design. We are definitely going back!!

They were absolutely amazing!
Sorellas Custom Cakes, did an absolutely fantastic job with our wedding cake(Sept. 16, 2023). They were able to bring mine and my husbands idea to life. The team at Sorella’s were fantastic to work with. Our cake was a 3 tiered with different flavors and 2 different fillings. That cake was absolutely delicious, our guests kept talking about it and asking where we got it. We definitely put out the word. We will be back for other cakes for special occasions!
They will also give out a free 6’ cake for your 1 yr anniversary. Which is really nice of them! Excellent service and thank you from the bottom of our hearts doing wedding cake. We sincerely appreciate it!

Exactly what I wanted!
Sorella's made a marble cake with tiramisu filling and it was wonderful!! Our cake was absoulety beautiful and timeless. I was very specific about not wanting roses on my cake and there was no question! The owners are very sweet and personable and they have a wonderful team of bakers, we love stopping by to get a box of cake scraps! Not too pricey and they delivered

Delicious cake, fair price!
We used Sorella's for our wedding cake and were so pleased with the service provided and the cake itself. We just needed a small cake for cutting as we had a large dessert table provided by our wedding venue, and Sorella's provided us with the perfect, simple cake that was SO delicious! Their pricing is very fair, too. We had guests asking for more, even though they had 15+ other dessert options to choose from. We will always use Sorella's for our cake needs for all celebrations!

Working with Sorella's for our wedding cake was such a great experience - every person I spoke to on staff was friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, flexible, and so kind, fun, and genuine. The cake was DELICIOUS, we got so many compliments from our guests, and delivery and set up was prompt and on time to the venue. They make the process so fun, interacting with them is a pleasure, and the final result is delicious and beautiful. 100000/10 would recommend working with them for your wedding - you'll be in incredible hands!

We were very pleased with Sorella’s for our cake. They were wonderful to work with remotely, very responsive, and gave good feedback on how to make our vision happen, including figuring out the right size. Our cakes (small cutting (carrot) and two sheet cakes (white and bumpy)) turned out beautifully and were delicious. We got lots of compliments from the guests, especially on the white cake. The only problem- we wished we had had more to bring home with us! Definitely recommend giving them a taste.

Amazing taste, presentation, service & price!
Hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. All of our guests were raving about how amazing the cake was. We did a vanilla or white cake (can’t remember exactly which) with a fruity mousse or icing and then also a German chocolate with I believe an Oreo type mouse. THIS WAS THE BEST CAKE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE (I’m very big on sweets so trust me when I tell you that means something). The chocolate was my favorite.
I sent them one picture of kind of how I wanted the cake, and told them other details I’d like and they completely nailed it!!!! I can’t even believe what a perfect job they did.
Additionally, the whole process was very easy and the owner, Monica, and everyone we dealt with there was super friendly and accommodating.
I thought their pricing was great!! Honestly, for the quality of service, the amazing cake flavors themselves, and the AWESOME presentation, I really can’t believe they didn’t charge way more.
This cake was one of the highlights of my wedding. I will use Sorellas any chance I get from here on out!!!

This bakery was a godsend when our original bakery canceled on us for our COVID-postponed wedding. They are reasonably priced, accommodating and absolutely delicious. The tasting process was fun and easy and we got compliments for months from wedding guests on the cake. They were able to provide dairy and gluten free options for dietary-restricted guests as well. Cake design for our 2-tiered cake was easy, I gave them a picture to go off of and they recreated it beautifully.

Beautiful and Delicious! We needed a cake for our 120-person reception. After trying 5 different cake vendors (all of which were either gross or ridiculously expensive) we were feeling defeated. That’s when we stumbled upon Sorellas and made a tasting appointment. Everything tasted delicious; our absolute favorites were their chocolate cakes- the German chocolate and chocolate raspberry. They were both so good, we decided to use both flavors in our cake. The final price of the cake was by far the most reasonably priced too! Then the day of the wedding came and we were so happy about how beautiful the cake turned out. We would highly recommend Sorellas for your wedding cake!

No words give this company the props they deserve
From before day one Sorellas was destined to be our cake vendor. The owners are amazing, genuine people. Their cake is super moist with tons of flavor. Several guests are still talking about the cake asking where we got it from. The banana cake was hands down the favorite. Sorellas was hands down the easiest and best decision my husband and I made for our wedding. We first tried their cake at another wedding we attended 2 months before ours (super late I know!!) and we simply fell head over heels! Banana is their secret weapon.
Monica and the crew are amazing at what they do. The cakes are fantastic! The Banana cake with peanut butter mousse and poured chocolate is so good that even when full from other cakes you can't stop yourself from eating the entire piece. Our cake and cupcakes we purchased from Sorella's are still the talks of our guests (weeks later)! Sorella's was incredibly helpful with all of our planning and the quality was to die for!!!! I highly recommend them, as the quality for the price is incredible!!! They will give you a free anniversary cake so you don't have to eat a freezer burnt piece of your wedding the next year when celebrating and I cannot wait to eat it all over again!!!

Love the Wedding Cake
My daughter suggested I try this bakery she have gotten cakes from them prior. I set up an consultation with Monica. She was very knowledgable about her product. My daughter and I tasted the samples which were good(lemon and white). I tried my best to give Monica the vision that I wanted for my wedding cake. She listened and made suggestions. She told me she understood where I was trying to go with the cake design. She suggested flowers I don't like flowers she stated it would be so beautiful so I figured she was the expert I'll give it a try. Well fast forward to my wedding day 😊 when my husband and I waked into the reception room and seen our cake it was beyond what I had envisioned. The cake was just beautiful. The taste was to DIE for it was moist the icing was just enough sweetness.
We got so many complements on the cake. I had ordered a extra layer due to I like height on the cake. Monica told me it would be more that enough for our guest. Well I'm glad we had that extra layer because our guest was taking cake home. We still had some left over it held up very well for a week just with foil covering it it stayed moist as it was on our wedding day.

Elegant and timeless, a Downton Abbey meets the Great Gatsby theme.
My husband and I collect elegant glassware from the depression era. When we brought in examples of the 2 patterns we wanted to use and set them on the table, Monica's eyes lit up! We told her we wanted them to recreate the etchings as the piping work on our cake, sort of marrying our 2 patterns in celebration of us joining our lives. Then we started tasting cakes. OMG the flavor was amazing, the absolute best we've ever found. While we were tasting, Monica started doodling some vine work in her notes. That was when I knew we had found the right artist to create our vision for our cake. The details of the etchings are so intricate that it was going to take someone with great artistic ability to pull off this request and the end result was better than I dreamed it would be.
We went to the Cambridge Glass Museum in Cambridge, Ohio where we were able to get copies of the original etchings and brought them into Monica. Incidentally, a picture of our cake is at the museum, as well as a friend's birthday cake that they made using his etchings from the pattern he collects.
Taste, inspiration, and artistic ability truly make Sorellas the best choice for your wedding, birthday celebrations, parties of all kinds. Many of our friends have now used them. We've also ordered several times for different celebrations. Our wedding photographer has also ordered from them for her Daughter's 1st birthday cake. I highly recommend this vendor!

This bakery catered our Bridle shower with mini desserts, two cakes for our ceremony, followed by minis for our reception. Additionally they gave us a fresh cake for our one year free of charge, yay no freezer cake!

We had a boy that was allergic to peanuts and eggs so they made him 2 special cupcake with his name on it. He loved it. And so reasonably priced. Guest raved about how good they were. OMG. The cake was amazing. Everyone loved it and came back for seconds! The sisters who own the shop are amazing and are so sweet. Very easy to work with. We had a bit of an odd request for our cake and they nailed it!! We showed them one picture and then after talking for a little bit they knew exactly how to change it up to make it our own. Very creative and still so beautiful. I can wait to go order more cakes just for the fun of it!

This shop is amazing! My cake-maker unfortunately got sick right before the wedding and I called Sorrella's they had so many options for flavors and fillings (I chose a white cake with lemon mousse filling and buttercream icing) people absolutely LOVED it and it was beautiful, can't thank them enough. We'll be having a baby shower soon and I know where I'm getting my cake from. :)

Sorellas is an awesome Bakery! My husband and I used this Bakery for our wedding cake this year in August 2015 after trying other bakeries. Besides the fact that the cake was absolutely amazing the staff was very helpful, very understanding, and very accommodating. Did I mention that the cake tasted amazing! the cake was beautifully decorated and all of my guest informed us that the cake looked amazing and tasted amazing. From day one, Sorella's was absolutely amazing to me! We picked our cakes to taste from the extensive list on their website, and they were ready for us to try when we got there. We ended up choosing two layers with german chocolate cake - one with chocolate raspberry mousse, and one with bavarian cream, and one layer with cherry chip and strawberry filling. We didn't choose to try the bavarian cream on our first tasting, but we went over what was needed that first day.
On our second trip in, we went over what we wanted our cake to look like. They were very understanding and wonderful about my ideas and didn't turn anything down. When we mentioned that we wanted to try the bavarian cream, they whipped up a filling specifically for us to try. Like I said, AMAZING!
They delivered the cake right on time on the day-of (and even bent over backwards to help me out for my shower cake delivery as well!), and even helped out with my too-long cake topper sticks when they got there.
The cake was, of course, fantastic. I ate three pieces at my wedding, and everyone raved about it and thought it was wonderful!

We have been going to Sorella's since they opened shop in Livonia so when we got engaged there was no question who were going to have make our wedding cake. Our cake turned out BEAUTIFUL (even more than what we could have imagined) and tasted even better. Sorella's allowed us to make each layer a different flavor (we had 4 total). I wanted a snow globe for my cake topper and most of the bakery's we went to said it was too heavy and too difficult to do. Sorella's said they would do whatever it took to keep the snow globe on top the cake and they did!!! It was beautiful. I will continue to get cakes from there.

I went to Sorella's off a suggestion from a fellow Knottie and it was the best decision ever. I was really impressed with the way everything turned out. I got our wedding cake from them and the surprise grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner and both were above my expectations. The Grooms cake was in the shape of a corona bottle and even had the lime. They did a great job and the cake taste amazing.
The wedding cake was one of the highlights of the evening. When I saw it as i entered the ballroom I was blown away. It was better than I imagined and it taste like dream

Everyone, literally everyone, at my wedding ate and loved the cake. We ordered a cake to feed 150 guests so we could serve large slices, and, with only 95 guests in attendance, not one piece of cake was left at the end of the night. I was married for one week and I've already been asked twice for the name of the bakery.
Sorella's is the best tasting wedding cake that there is. Period. Great frosting, but not too much frosting. Moist, delicious, FRESH cake. Tasty fillings that allow for a variety of combinations. Kind, sweet, and attentive customer service. Very cost conscious and flexible. The very, very best part: I asked for a "wheat design" for the cake decoration and the designer drew a little sketch and I said ok. I thought, so long as the cake tastes good, I don't care much about the success of the wheat design. When I saw the cake for the first time, I yelped with delight because the design was just perfect. I had a very tight budget of only $400 for my wedding cake. After visiting 3 other places in the area I thought I would never find what I was looking for.
I had just visited Sorellas on a whim, and I was in luck they did faux cakes that fit my budget. I ordered a 3 tier faux cake where only the bottom layer was real, to cut into, and they were able to decorate 2 sheet cakes like the fake cake, so nobody would have a clue the whole thing was not real. At the time I was not able to taste their cake, however it fit my budget so I went with it.
I was so surpised when I got my first bite of the cake, it was fantastic. Much better than any of the places I had visited prior. The quality of the product for the price was well worth it. I really recomend this bakery for all products. They were wonderful!

Sorella's not only did my wedding cake but they also did a chocolate fountain at our June wedding as well. Both services were fabulous! I was a little nervous because I had chose to have a lightly tinted blue cake and wasn't sure what their idea of lightly tinted would look like. I had nothing to worry about when I arrived at our reception and saw the cake I was delighted. It was everything I imagined it would look like. I received so many compliments on the taste of the cake and everyone had so much fun with the chocolate fountain. Their homemade cookies and cheesecake pops were a huge hit than what you usually get with most companies that do chocolate fountains. The sisters who own this bakery are the easiest to work with. They were very flexible on tasting times, and when we showed up a bit early they didnt make us wait. We had cupcakes, and then a 6" cake topper shaped like a cupcake. They matched our colors perfect, and set it for us. I have so many compliments on them!! The price is great, best around for the yummy quality!

They we were the only cake vendor that had their cake in containers to take home. We got home and were looking through our bag and ate the cake and knew where it came from! It helped that the cake tasted amazing! It was exactly what we wanted. We setup an appointment for our cake tasting and they were so helpful and friendly to work with. We signed a contract that day without trying anyone else out. It was that good! They were so wonderful in helping to make sure that the design I pictured in my head was what I was going to see on the day of our wedding. Our wedding cake was beautiful! Everyone one loved the cake and said how great it tasted. It was moist and not overly sweet, just perfect!
I also order a grooms cake. I requested a turtle cake and was blown away at how awesome it turned out! My three year old niece kept asking when she could have a piece of the turtle. She was so ecstatic when we gave her the head of the turtle! The groom loved it too!

Sorella's was so wonderful to work with. I called their shop only 1 month before my wedding and they were so helpful. I was able to set up a taste testing and pick out which ever flavors I wanted, mixing the fillings, cake and frosting to create my favorite taste.
I brought in a picture of what I wanted my cake to look like, and they made it exactly how I envisioned! Not only did the cake look beautiful they day of, but I have had so many guests tell me that it was the most delicious cake they have ever had!

I found Sorella's while attending the Bridal Expo in Novi. Upon my visit to their bakery, I wasn't entirely impressed by it. It needed to be a little more updated and taken care of, but I put that past me and tasted their cakes. To me all cakes taste the same unless they are horrible. What it comes down to is if they were willing to be flexible with your needs. Sorella's does faux cakes, which was a way cheaper route. In the end our cake cost less than $3.00 per person and it tasted amazing. We even had our Grooms cake for the rehearsal and it was very good. They were always willing to help and were very friendly whenever we came into the door. They are a family owned company that is wonderful to work with.

Sorella's did an absolutely wonderful job on my wedding cake and the sisters were fantastic to work with! I called Sorella's 2 and a half weeks before my wedding on recommendation of a co-worker and they were able to do the cake of my dreams for my video game themed wedding reception. I drew a detailed sketch and they were able to take it and completely bring it to life. Not to mention the fact that the sisters were willing to go out of their way to modify their red velvet cake recipe to OUR tastes. Monica was super quick to get back to me via email or phone, even after my millions of questions. The price was unbeatable and the cake was a hit with everyone. I cannot say enough great things about this bakery and I've already recommended it highly on other websites and to other brides who are looking for cake vendors. We had decorated cheesecake cupcakes as our wedding "cake". The cheesecake from Sorellas is to die for! Their buttercream frosting is also wonderful. We also rented a chocolate fountain for dessert. The dipping items were great and many of them were homemade, like the chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies. The pricing was great and we were able to take home all leftovers.

The two sisters who own this bakery are the sweetest, friendliest people any bride could ever want to deal with. They are accomodating, flexible and innovative. Instead of trying to push brides to spend more money than they'd like to, they take your budget and requests and try to give you the most bang for your buck. When I told them that I wanted a big cake but didn't have the money, they showed me all the ways to cut costs and get exactly what I wanted for the money I had to spend. As if that weren't enough, the cakes are truly delicious. My guests were absolutely raving about how wonderful it tasted, and I was thrilled to have leftovers to enjoy the day after. Plus, newlyweds get a free cake on their one-year anniversary! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I found Sorella's at a bridal show. After I had been looking for a while, we set sights on Sorella's and were extremely pleased with the taste and quality of their cakes. Our taste testing went well and they were so accomodating to our different requests. We booked right on the spot. The cupcakes we had were gorgeous and just the way we had wanted them. They were all uniform, even with the different flavors/fillings/frosting colors we chose. Even the cake for myself and the groom was immaculate and oh so good. They were on time and everyone enjoyed the treats enough to go back for more. Great family bakery and I was super impressed with the star treatment we received.

Sorella's was great! They helped me design my cake and it was perfect! Exactly what I had imagined. They also did a chocolate fountian for us. It was a hit! Everyone loved it! Another really nice thing about Sorella's is the fact that they remake the top of your cake for you on your one year anniversary. We had saved our top, but it was not wrapped well and was freezer burnt. I called Sorella's and they had the cake for me in two days! We were able to have it in time for the anniversary. It was great! They are soooo easy to work with and very helpful.

The cake was so delicious!!! Some guests complained that it was a bit dry but I think that was because the hall cut the cake and then let slices sit out before they were served. Other than that, it was wonderful!!!

We were not very picky about cake, we just wanted something that tasted pretty good and we didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg. We stumbled upon Sorella’s and didn’t look back. They specialize in making butter cream look like fondant and this was perfect since we liked the taste/texture of butter cream but the look of fondant. The sisters who own Sorella’s gave us great money saving tips and spent plenty of time with us providing advice. Their delivery was perfect. The cake tasted great and was beautiful! We also get a small anniversary cake on our one-year anniversary.

Price was very reasonable for the quality, and the cake was elegant and beautiful. I would tell anyone looking for a bakery to give them a call.

Sorella's was great! The staff was so friendly and nice. Our cake and our cupcakes turned out amazing there was none left at the end of the reception! People keep asking me where they came from! The delivered everything and we were able to rent the cupcake stand. The value was really great too.

We had a small wedding cake as well as 5 different kinds of pies for our guests. Everything was very good and arrived just as they said it would. I reccomend this place to everyone I meet.
