We cannot recommend Soraya and her team enough! We had a Turkish American wedding and she was both our caterer and coordinator.
The food was delicious and we are still getting compliments almost a month after! She really understood what was needed to combine both Turkish and American style foods, and was very conscious of what would work for our crowd and what wouldn’t.
Soraya was able to answer questions I didn’t even know I had, and we were able to confidently hand everything over to her so that we were fully present during our special day. If anything went wrong, we were completely unaware. The wedding day was truly magical and we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy our day without her! Thank you Soraya :) -

Soraya is truly one of a kind. Hiring her was, hands down, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From day one, she brought an incredible level of care, thoughtfulness, and dedication that made us feel completely supported throughout the entire process.
She is extremely detail-oriented, an amazing communicator, and somehow always available when you need her most. She is deeply respected in the wedding community, has strong relationships with so many vendors, and knows exactly how to get things done without ever making you feel stressed or overwhelmed.
My wife and I are based out of California which made wedding planning especially challenging for us. We didn’t have access to vendors, venues, or local recommendations, and it could have easily felt overwhelming. Soraya immediately stepped in, guided us through every decision, and quickly connected us with the right vendors who truly matched our vision. She made a complicated situation feel manageable.
She worked incredibly well with our parents, always balancing kindness with firmness when needed. She knew when to push back, when to protect our time and priorities, and when to calmly steer conversations back on track. Throughout it all, she had this steady, calming presence and a clear bias for action—you always felt like things were moving forward and under control.
What meant the most to us was how genuinely invested she was. Soraya is organized, thoughtful, and leads with so much heart. Whenever I called her, she picked up right away or called me back shortly after. She kept us grounded, on schedule, and focused during every planning call, even when emotions or stress ran high.
Kiran and I absolutely loved working with Soraya. She didn’t just help us plan a wedding—she truly cared about us as people. By the end of it all, she felt like family. Soraya was our full-service wedding planner and caterer for our wedding which we had on October 5, 2025 in Hammond Castle, Gloster Massachusetts.
We are a multicultural couple (Pakistan and Bulgaria) and we are both recent immigrants to the US. We had an idea for a western style wedding with a light medieval theme, incorporating some traditions and cuisine from our respective cultures. Sounds complicated and it was, but Soraya executed flawlessly.
As a full-service planner she was available and easy to communicate, she helped us identify the venue, our vendors, and prepared us for what we should have in mind when planning, dealing with invites, guests and hotels. She also assisted us in executing our vision and create our theme, which ended up more impressive than what we expected - she even found us a master of ceremonials willing to dress up and perform as our medieval castellan!
Her day of coordination was masterful - our guests wanted for nothing, we did not have to deal with almost anything other than enjoying our guests and our day - she chaperoned us from place to place, worked with our photographers, DJs and venue staff to ensure everything was happening on time and made sure we stayed hydrated and fed (special thanks to her finding a redbull for the groom, who was about to pass out from exhaustion after the ceremony). Our catering was amazing and the food was delicious and enjoyed by all our guests.
We fit our budget and had a good and earnest communication about how we want the event to go and what really matters to us, she advised us on how to negotiate with vendors and what is realistic in terms of meeting our expectations.
Our wedding they turned out better than we imagined and we don't think it would have been the same without Soraya. Highly recommend!

From the moment I met Soraya at my parents’ house, I knew I wanted to move forward with her as our wedding planner! She is very professional, warm, and goes out of her way to understand what the family and couple wants from their special day/wedding weekend.
We spent a year planning our wedding with Soraya and interacted with her almost daily! She is very communicative and responsive. We never felt in the dark about anything that she took charge of. She communicated every step and update in a timely manner and documented everything for us which was extremely helpful!
We put full our full trust in Soraya when it came time to executing contracts, managing our budget, following up with vendors, ordering signage and certain items from abroad for us, etc. She truly went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend very special and memorable.

As the year draws to a close, we are looking back with gratitude to so many who made this year special for us. One person who stands at the top is Soraya Belgacem (Soraya Events), our wedding planner for our son’s wedding.
Our son got married in 2025 (and we now have a most wonderful daughter-in-law!). It was a wedding of two different cultures and faiths, so two separate ceremonies were arranged. We undertook the primary responsibility for organizing the Indian ceremony in Massachusetts. Soraya was the wedding planner for this ceremony.
Soraya was extremely professional in all her dealings. She was extremely hard-working and kept the entire planning process moving on time over the ten months leading up to the wedding. She really cared about making the ceremony truly special and memorable for the couple. She involved our son and our daughter-in-law in every important decision.
Both of us and indeed our son and daughter-in-law are extremely pleased with her services. We could not have pulled off this successful event without her. Soraya was indispensable to us.
From the very first email that we sent to Soraya inquiring about her services she was wonderful to communicate with. We had numerous meetings with her throughout the planning process working on all the important details. On every occasion, we felt that she had gone above and beyond to meet our needs to our fullest satisfaction. She is a very positive person and truly delightful to work with. At every step we found her extremely knowledgeable and helpful and we had full confidence in her decisions. She was also extremely prompt with her responses. We kept in touch regularly over email, phone, Zoom as well as text messaging. She was always there for us.
Some of the aspects that stood out for us were:
• From the very beginning Soraya totally understood our vision for what would constitute a successful wedding for us. We found that she is an excellent listener and quickly able to grasp the essence of what we are looking for.
• She has a lot of experience and a very good working relation with a lot of vendors. She also has the expertise and resources to pivot quickly should a problem arise with a vendor for an unforeseen reason. We faced a problem in one case, and she handled the situation with great expertise. We never felt that any situation was out of control.
• She has a great sense of esthetics and was very closely involved with us and the decorators and lighting experts regarding every aspect of the décor. She was creative and innovative with her ideas and very resourceful. She was passionate about making everything turn out excellent.
• For the day of the event, Soraya made sure that everything went precisely and on schedule. This was greatly appreciated by our guests.
Over the last five months since the wedding, we have heard from so many of our guests, and they all said that their experience was wonderful and memorable. Specifically, they said that the wedding was extremely well organized in all respects and that thoughtful attention had been paid to all details. Truly speaking, this would just not have been possible without Soraya’s incredible contribution.
We are extremely satisfied and grateful to Soraya for her dedicated work for the wedding. The wedding was really a success in terms of meeting and exceeding our own expectations. We highly recommend Soraya to any couple looking for an extraordinary event.

One of the best decisions we made for our full-day baby shower, cocktail hour, and reception for 250 (most out-of-town) guests was to hire Soraya as our event planner! Her price range is affordable and totally worth it for all the time and work she put into our event (we did full-service planning)! She has incredible relationships with vendors of different price ranges who are super nice and great at what they do, and she was able to execute our vision for the event in 3 months! She herself is really kind, culturally sensitive, patient, creative, and resourceful, often suggesting us ideas for how to save costs and something they would make the event better, but she was always happy to defer to our decisions when she presented us with multiple options. Our guests commented that it was the most organized set of events they’d been to, and we were super happy with how the events turned out, a big thanks to Soraya! -

We LOVED working with Soraya and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to plan their special event! We worked with her for our wedding weekend, which included a Sangeet at Larz Anderson Park (highly recommend!) and a stunning ceremony/reception at The State Room in downtown Boston. Soraya made the whole weekend possible and we are so grateful. A few highlights:
- She knows the best people! We had no idea where to start for a fusion wedding, and Soraya found us a kind and thoughtful Hindu priestess to marry us, amazing DJ to mix Indian & American songs for the sangeet (Boston Sound and Light Company DJ Yogi!), beautiful and patient horse for the baraat, and lovely henna artist for stunning mehendi and henna at the sangeet (Manisha from Henna Cafe). This was all in addition to the perfect design team (JD Designs & Floral Lab), amazing photographer (Caroline Klaar), and enthusiastic hype-man videographer (Navarro Films) that she engaged for us. She even found us a bagpipe player so we could incorporate the bride's Scottish heritage into the baraat! We are SO grateful for such an incredible team.
- She listens. We had some specific thoughts about what we did/didn't want for the weekend, and our ideas about the wedding certainly multiplied over time. She took it all in stride and responded thoughtfully (and promptly!) to every request to make sure we had a perfect weekend for us.
- Her food is AWESOME. Soraya's team catered Indian food for the sangeet Friday night - including a live chaat station! - and I have never heard so many people raving about the food at any event. It was absolutely delicious.
- She's particular, which is a major win for a wedding planner and was very comforting for our type A personalities. She paid attention to every detail and ensured all aspects of the weekend were appropriately planned. This made for a very relaxing weekend (and week before!) for us.
We would absolutely hire Soraya again and highly recommend her work! -

We are SO thankful for everything Soraya did to help make our vision for a Hindu-Jewish fusion wedding become reality! We opted for the Month of Wedding coordination package and highly recommend it for others planning a wedding (especially an Indian one).
-During the planning process, we relied on Soraya’s great recommendations to find most of our major vendors, which was especially helpful as we planned a Boston wedding from afar in Austin, TX. Although Soraya’s full time wedding planning did not kick in until 3 months prior to the wedding, she was still happy to offer vendor recommendations and meet ad-hoc to give us feedback throughout. She’s very good at understanding your preferences, but she will also tactfully make suggestions when appropriate to help improve your plan while still making sure your intentions are captured. She’s also deeply knowledgeable about Indian wedding customs too which we appreciated to help us plan appropriately.
-Once Soraya’s 3 month full time engagement kicked in, she took over handling so many big and small things in the run up to our wedding. She was wonderful at navigating all the last minute vendor, logistics, and family/friends issues that came up.
-On the big day itself, it was incredible how smooth and on time everything went! We can only attribute this to all her hard work. So many guests told us how thoughtfully planned every detail was and how much fun they had. She has a great interpersonal dynamic and clicked very well with our families, wedding parties, and friends, while still ensuring everyone was doing what they were supposed to be doing when they were supposed to be doing it.
We really appreciated working with Soraya and consider selecting her as our wedding planner to be one of our best decisions. -

Soraya and her team have been great from the start. My fiancé and are were extremely budget conscious, and she worked so closely with us to build the menu of our dreams for the best price for us. She spoke with me on the phone quite a few times, and really took the time to understand our vision. I can't thank them enough, they are amazing to work with & will do a pre-wedding taster so that you can make sure you enjoy the meal! I would recommend Soraya and her team to anyone looking for a great experience! -

Soraya was absolutely AMAZING! We had to change our big wedding plans to an intimate small backyard wedding due to COVID. With high risk parents on both sides, we were so concerned about having our wedding and bringing in outside vendors. Our new wedding plan was to have 10 people socially distanced in our backyard. Soraya made me feel so comfortable with her knowledge of food preparation, especially given her dedicated commitment to stay on top of guidelines around food prep during this time. Dinner was absolutely incredible!! Soraya knows what she’s doing and I would hire her for any event in the future and recommend her to everyone we know! She came out to our house, served us an amazing dinner, and I truly felt as though I was still having an incredible, elegant dinner from the comfort of my backyard! She’s fantastic!!! My now husband and I can’t thank her enough! She was not only professional but she was caring and accommodating in the best way possible! -

Wedding coordination
From the moment we first spoke to Soraya she made our wedding visions come to life in ways we wouldn’t have thought possible.
We initially contacted her to inquire about her company for catering as we were interested in both American and Middle Eastern cuisine for our wedding. The food is delicious and everyone will be talking about how good everything is for months to come, trust me!
After speaking to her more we realized she is an absolute BOSS who can do anything possible when it comes to event planning! We hired her to be our wedding coordinator which was our best decision possible, besides actually getting married of course. Knowing she would be around reduced our stress level in half immediately.
Soraya also had wonderful contacts to share with us that she’s gathered from her years of experience with other amazing vendors— all of whom were also highly credible and very talented people.
She is so dependable and easy to get in touch with. She was always available for a quick text check-in or phone call meeting within the next 24 hours. She will be able to fix literally ANY problem that may come your way and handle it before you even know about it!
She effortlessly brought together two ethnic traditions together in a beautiful and fun manner. All of our guests loved her and still talk about how she so flawlessly handled the entire night. She kept us sane through planning, gave us the wedding of our dreams and helped us host an event that was enjoyed by so many! Hire her— you will not regret it!!!! -

Professional, attentive, and reliable
We hired Soraya and her staff for both catering and coordinating. We had a wedding in the middle of a field on our family property and she helped the day run smoothly. As you can imagine it was a lot to develop a venue from scratch. Soraya made sure I had everything I needed which helped to relieve a lot of stress for us and our family. I have received so many compliments on the food and the staff. I would highly recommend Soraya and her team to anyone. They even helped to set up and clean up. Thank you for everything Soraya! :)
