The Best!!!

Working with Freddy was sooooo much fun! He was so nice and really made the day perfect! We weren’t super picky on what music to play but he knew how to read the crowd and let’s just say they don’t want the party to stop! Even the month leading up to the wedding, we had our planning meeting and we just knew everything was going to be perfect!

Sophisticated Gents is the best!!! Thank you so much to Jenna and Freddy!!!

A Perfect Party

Frederick, the owner was our DJ for our intimate wedding. I did not want a lot of the normal customs that go along with a traditional wedding. I wanted a four hour party and that is exactly what we had. His music choice kept us on the dancefloor all night and when we needed a little guidance he was right there to help. loved every minute of our reception.

The best of the best!!

Fredrick was amazing! He made everything flow so smoothly throughout the day so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. He kept the energy and laughs going all night. We also had the steel drummer play during our cocktail hour and he was great! Thank you so much!!

Absolutely Amazing!

Freddy and his team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make my wedding and service magical.

We had an issue with a previous dj that was hired and last minute had to hire a new one. I knew I wanted sophisticated Bec I saw them at an expo! They helped me out so much with my package and selections. Everything was perfect and my guests love them!

Awesome and fun!

They were awesome from set up to clean up. They set up and did our ceremony and reception, they kept the music perfect for our cocktail hour. When we decided to not cut our cake ( we had cupcakes and a little cut cake) he just said ok if thats what you want and got people dancing. They made everything seem so smooth, even when we were running behind.

Fredrick is Amazing!

Fredrick did such a great job at our wedding! My husband and I chose some unconventional songs for the ceremony and Fredrick made it happen without even blinking an eye! I ended up having him switch our first and last song a couple of days before the wedding (My husband finally acknowledged I can't dance to anything but a slow song) and he assured me that it was no problem, which was quite a relief to me. Fredrick made everything go smoothly and we are so thankful that we decided to go with him as our DJ. He was very flexible with what we wanted and made sure that we were happy. I definitely recommend Sophisticated Gents!

Amazing dj!

Frederick is an awesome DJ! He coordinated everything so well and my husband and I are thankful for him! The music were awesome! Everyone loved him and I saw people from my family who never dance danced! Everyone had such a great time! The bubbles for our first dance was so nice! His wife Jenna was also a great helped through the booking process. He arrived on time and was really professional. I am so glad we booked him! IF YOU NEED A DJ, BOOK FREDERICK!!! You will not regret it!

Amazing Service!!

Fredrick was our DJ and he was amazing at coordinating everything from the ceremony to the last dance. He kept the energy high and the party alive, he made us laugh so much and definitely paid close attention to our requests. We had several guests tells us how great our DJ was! We were definitely blown away by his performance, he exceeded our expectations by a long shot. He is so easy to communicate with and made planning an absolute breeze. He was so passionate, and read our crowd well. I will always recommend him to anyone I know looking for a DJ service. Thanks Fredrick, you made our night so memorable!

Everyone danced!

Using Sophisticated Gents for our wedding was one of the best choices we made! The owner amd his wife really helped out with our decision for our package and music selection. And DJ that attended our weeding did such a great job interacting with the guests and playing song requests for them that everyone (even people who don't like dancing or had a hard time moving) danced!!!!

We are so thankful for them and had such a great time for our wedding!

Amazing, best in the business!

I can not say enough about everyone on this team. They were amazing when it came to scheduling times and they are very organized. I could not ask for a better DJ for our big day. Frederick the entertainer, entertained us

Frederick was awesome! He kept the wedding entertainment on schedule and kept the party going. Everyone enjoyed the music along with the shoe question game that was a lot of fun. When the guest weren't quite sure how to do a dance, he got up and entertained us all with instruction during the dances which made it fun. Thanks so much for making my daughters wedding beautiful with bubbles and memorable by DJing for us.

Book them NOW! You will not regret!

I would like to first start off by saying, I knew Frederick was going to be the DJ at my wedding 3 months prior to me meeting the man who is now my husband; that is how amazing he is! This isn’t just a job to him, this is his life. His team is highly organized and has foolproof planning once you are booked. Sophisticated Gents goes above and beyond to make your day perfect! I can’t begin to tell you the number of wedding guests who complimented his work at my wedding. Although the day flew by for me, one of my best memories is Frederick out dancing with everyone (this is optional, but I highly recommend). His wife Jenna is also amazing; she responds promptly to every question you send her. I could not be happier with the choice that I made to book them. The only recommendation I would give to someone trying to book Sophisticated Gents, ESPECIALLY if you want to book Frederick specifically, is to book as soon as you have a date. I booked my venue, then IMMEDIATELY was in contact with Sophisticated Gents. I booked over a year out and was so glad I did. I remember seeing brides trying to book a few months out at the bridal show he does and thinking, “Thank God I don’t have to worry about that!”. Frederick and team-Thank you for all the time and effort you put into helping plan and coordinate the big day. It will forever be remembered… literally it’s on video!

Fredrick was amazing. He kept everybody on the floor dancing all night long. I continue to received compliments about how fun and professional Fredrick was during our ceremony and reception. The day was amazing from the fog during our first dance to the line dances. If it wasn’t for him our wedding day would have not been as organized as it was with his help. Absolutely fantastic dj!

Sophisticated Gents is a fantastic company and were wonderful to work with. Frederick is a phenomenal business owner, and he and his wife worked closely with my husband and I in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. Their online portal made things very easy for us to organize the type of music and events we would like at our reception. They provided drapery and LED lights for it, which made things very easy for us as we didn’t need to go through different vendors to decorate our reception room!

Frederick closely coordinated with the hotel for our reception so that we didn’t have to worry about anything on the day of our wedding, and he brought so much excitement and fun to our already joyful day! From balancing organization of events (such as toasts, cutting the cake, etc) to choosing great music that got everyone – and I mean everyone! – on the dance floor, Frederick was so excellent at it. He even bought some surprises to the reception: during our first dance as husband and wife, he used a fog machine on the dance floor which truly felt as though we were in a dream! He has the perfect energy and talent for this business, and we are so truly thankful that he coordinated our wedding reception.

In short: to hire Sophisticated Gents truly guarantees that you will have an EXCELLENT event that all of your guests will enjoy. We absolutely loved working with this company and would only choose them for future parties and events.

Best night of our lives!!

Frederick Smith and his team at Sophisticated Gents are truly the Elite when it comes to entertainment. As the girls were getting hair and makeup done for my wedding they kept saying "omg it's so fun down there and the wedding hasn't even started yet!"
His energy & the way he reads the crowd is mind blowing. Our dance floor was empty only once through the whole night and that was only due to plate clean up (Greek wedding OPA!)

Our venue was a private residence and the neighbors were coming out of their homes and walking over because they loved the song selections and we were asked over and over for his information so our guests could book his team for any events they had.

My Facebook feed was filled with captions saying "Best wedding ever" and "I've never danced so much in my life!" The day after.

Frederick not only made our wedding into the best night of our lives,but an unforgettable night for our guests too and I can't say thank you enough!

Best dj in brevard!

AWESOME DJ!!!! Best in Brevard!!! Freddie and Jim did an amazing job for our wedding!! Top Notch! The PARTY was lit!

Hands down to Frederick and Jenna working with us on our wedding plans. We met with them at their offices in Melbourne, FL and went over what we were looking for in entertainment for our wedding. They are very open to your ideas and accommodating to any requests that may arise. Our wedding day was truly magical and memorable thanks to Freddy. He's very active in getting the guests participating in the events and bringing people to the dance floor. The dance floor was packed with Freddy leading all of us in the cupid shuffle and other songs. So much fun! We also had fun with the party CO2 gun going off into the crowds. Freddy kept track of moving all the events along throughout the evening to stay on schedule. Leave it to Sophisticated Gents to take care of all of your party needs and sit back and enjoy the ride! It was so much fun. For the entertainment we had the evening of our wedding it was well worth the money spent. You can't go wrong with Sophisticated Gents. They bring FUN to the party!

My husband and I got married in Cocoa beach and live in another state. We had to do all of our planning long distance and it was definitely daunting, to say the least. After looking at multiple DJ’s online, we settled on Sophisticated Gents. Once we started working with them, we were immediately comfortable in our decision! Frederick and Jenna were amazing correspondents throughout the entire process. They completely understood our vision and made it happen the day of! Frederick and his crew were there early. The piping and draping was hired through them as well and looked amazing! Overall, top notch service and kept the crowd having a great time! The lighting, sound and set up were all amazing!! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great DJ/entertainment group!!

Frederick was everything we could have asked for in a DJ! When we went to meet with him prior to our wedding, he sat us down with a complete spreadsheet of our wedding and songs, and we discussed it thoroughly. We really felt like he cared about us, and wanted to make our day as special as possible. Frederick showed up early to set up his equipment the day of the wedding, and then came back when we had asked him to start DJ-ing. He was very good about keeping the bridal party organized, and explaining to us what needed to be done. He was awesome at getting the party started with cute games/activities. Everyone complimented him on this. After dinner, he got the party started and was an excellent DJ all night! He even danced with us!
We had a little incident where the fire alarm ended up going off from the fog machine, but Fredrick was quick to keep the party going as soon as the alarm went off. We all laughed about it, and it's something we will never forget.

I had the wonderful pleasure of having Fredrick as our DJ for our wedding in May 2018. Working with Sophisticated Gents made the song/event planning super easy with their online portal. The entire team was extremely friendly and so easy to work with. They were happy to help with anything we asked and went above and beyond by guiding my husband and myself through everything and made the planning of our special day so much smoother and less stressful. The lighting set up of our event was beautiful and they really focused on your vision and made it come to life, I couldn't imagine working with anyone else for such a special event. There is nothing bad that I could say about Frederick and his team. I am very pleased with his work and I know our guests enjoyed him just as much as we did.

We are very pleased with the experience that Sophisticated Gents was able to provide for our wedding. Fred is very professional, experienced, and knows how to bring the entertainment all night long at a great value.
If you consider music to be an important part of your event, I recommend Sophisticated Gents. From the minute we met Fred, I knew we were in good hands. He helped us through the process of choosing songs, but he also listened to our feedback and ran with it. Best party ever!!! Fredrick was the DJ for my wedding on October 14th 2017 and we had a great time. I live out of town in South Carolina, so I couldn’t meet with him until the week of the wedding, but he was so calm and prepared. He had a sheet for me and my husband to review and fill out that had any ‘must plays’ and ‘do not play’ lists. He also had spots for all the other important songs like: first dance, last dance, father daughter dance, cake cutting song...you name it and it was addressed. I hadn’t even thought of all of the different song choices until he asked so I was overwhelmed with all of the choices and at one point I said “I don’t know, you pick”. He never got frustrated with me at all, he simply said “ I like ‘How sweet it is to be loved by you’ for cake cutting, what do you think about that?” He even played the song to remind me of the lyrics. His years of experience shows! I had a blast, he read the crowd so well. We had everyone dancing and singing along! For the ceremony the steel drums were a hit and set the coastal vibe perfectly! I never once worried about anything the day of the wedding! I would highly recommend Sophisticated Gents and Fredrick!

If I could give Fredrick and his team more than five stars I would. They were more than professional at every stage in planning my wedding with them. Getting in touch with them was a breeze and in the even that I had to leave a message I received a return call or email the same day with answers. On the day of the wedding they were on time, very professional, courteous to me and to all of my guests. I received complements for Fredrick from my guest for weeks after the wedding. I HIGHLY recommend Sophisticated Gents, if I had to do it all over again, they would still be my number one pick.

Sophisticated Gents truly lives up to their name. They work in such a sophisticated matter and created the most sophisticated and beautiful wedding I could have ever not only attended but have as my own! They went ABOVE AND BEYOND, what we could have ever expected to walk into and see as OUR wedding. From the centerpieces, Lightning, drapery, decor, monogrammed wall, photo booth, to the overall entertainment and music for the wedding, every part of it was phenomenal! We couldn’t have had a better company in charge of making our day any more perfect than sophisticated gents did for us. I would highly recommend this company for anyone who is planning a wedding, anniversary party, birthday, homecoming, or any celebration for that matter. They will make the process easy for you by giving you great detail and always keeping your best interest in my mind the whole way through. Everyone told us how stressful wedding planning is, with sophisticated gents next to us the whole way through our wedding, we didn’t have any stress! We are Beyond thankful for all they did for us In preparation for our wedding and on our wedding day!

Frederick was AMAZING! He had the party going the entire time and was very organized! He was very open to our suggestions and requests! We also opted for the photo booth which was the most amazing photo booth set-up ever! Our guests could not stop talking about how much fun they had with the dancing/music as well as the photo booth! I will hire Frederick for any and every event I ever have! Best wedding ever!!!!

We were in need of a DJ 5 days before our wedding because of a miscommunication error with our booked DJ. Gents entertainment saved the day! Freddy was amazing! Sophisticated gents is a top of the line DJ and event design service provider. We truly believe that our wedding would not have been as good if we didn't have them. I discovered them at a bridal show and right from the start everyone was professional and very eager to help. Our reception was absolutely perfect. We have received so many compliments saying that Frederick kept everything flowing so well and entertaining. When looking for a DJ for our wedding, it took us quite some time to find Sophisticated Gents. We chose them because they guaranteed us they would get the party going and keep it going to the end. They really kept to their promise. The dance floor was full all night and the music was perfect. Everyone kept asking who the DJ was. I would recommend Sophisticated Gents to whoever wants a great quality DJ.

One of the major things my husband requested out of the wedding was to get everyone up on the dance floor. Well he got his wish! After all the speeches were given and food was served, Fredrick had EVERYONE dancing. We didn't give him many restrictions for the playlist, just told him to do his thing, and I wouldn't have had it any other way! He read the crowd so well and knew exactly what to play to keep the party going. You can really tell he loves what he does too, he was having just as much fun as the rest of us! Fredrick was really the best, hire him, you won't regret it! I can't wait to see pictures and video of the dance party!!

We had our wedding 4/30/16 at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne and it was spectacular! We planned our wedding from Massachusetts and chose our vendors based on reviews and recommendations. We met with Frederick in June 2015 and knew he was the right person to DJ our wedding. Sophisticated Gents makes it so easy to plan your wedding from another location with their online portal.

Frederick made our wedding truly memorable. Our guests (74) were dancing the entire evening which is exactly what we wanted! Everyone is still talking about Frederick and our wedding!

We would highly recommend Frederick and Sophisticated Gents to DJ your wedding. Five stars isn't enough for this review! He is amazing at his profession and will make your wedding memorable.

Frederick was awesome. We had a "jew-ish" wedding, and he nailed all of the standard music. As the groom was the last of his parents children to be married off, there was a special song where the guests all dance around his mother. We had no idea what music was to be used, and he got it 100% correct. He also had the hora perfected!

In addition to the music, our package also included the gobo light and all the uplighting. The room looked amazing thanks to Frederick and his team!

I used Trent through sophisticated gents as our wedding dj and he was absolutely amazing! He was basically our coordinator the day of the wedding and helped everything run smoothly, and on time. He made sure that we didnt forget about anything that we wanted to do! We used him for our ceremony/cocktail hr/ and reception. He had everyone on the dance floor, from all age groups! Sophisticated gents is so much more than a dj group! I would highly recommend them! They were a key part in helping us have the fun wedding that we wanted! They may be a little more expensive than other dj groups but it is 100% worth it. They play a much more critical part in your wedding than you might think! I've also interacted with Fredrick, the owner, on a couple occasions. He is also amazing! Very energetic, personable, organized and professional! I was 100% satisfied, they even exceeded my expectations!

Working with sophisticated gents for the DJ and entertainment was a seamless and easy process. Each meeting we had was very organized and I felt " in the loop" through the entire process. Their online portal/worksheet made the picking of songs very easy. When it came to the actual event my expectations were far exceeded. The up lighting was the ice on the cake and made the venue beautiful. And Fred as the DJ was AMAZING!! He was able to really get our crowd going and turned the event into an amazing party. I was so sad when the music stopped at the end of the night. Wish we could have partied forever! In my mind there is no other choice for your wedding event!!

This company is truly extraordinary. They are professional and personable. They truly made my wedding event stand out. The lighting fixtures they use just added so much depth and drama to my event, that I would suggest this to anyone. Dj Trent was amazing with his music transitions from Spanish to English. He kept the whole room dancing. He helped maintain the pace of the event so we could all enjoy dancing and partying into the night. Sophicated Gents meticulous attention to details, professional pre-event planning and overall care and concern for our wishes for the evening helped make this one of the best gatherings I have ever had the privilege of hosting. Frederick was very professional and easy to work with and was very quick to respond even to last minute requests, organized and professional, very interactive with the guests of your party and is open to suggestions/ requests, coordinated with other vendors In a professional manner and will find your perfect song. Thought it was cool that they have an online portal where you can pick and choose particular songs and playlists you would like to play at your wedding. Also provided lighting and drapery which was gorgeous and really complemented the theme of things. Was there first thing in the morning to set up and one of the last to leave in the evening. Great team! On the pricier side but if you want something done the right way you get what you pay for!

Fredrick from Sophisticated Gents Entertainment was fantastic and he really made our wedding special. We chose a few songs that we wanted, then let him do what he does best, and our wedding was a hit.He was able to read the crowd and everyone had a great time. People who normally don't dance were tearing it up on the dance floor. Everyone has said it was the most fun wedding they'd been to. We had the pleasure of having Frederick, the owner of Sophisticated Gents, be our DJ. He was fantastic and it is obvious he takes pride in his work! My favorite moments were the music he personally selected for our cocktail hour, and the wedding game he surprised us with. Those will always be great memories for me! I know I have been to weddings in the past where you could not hear the DJ, nor did the DJ have "control" of the wedding so that if flowed properly. I swore that would not happen with my wedding and I can say with utmost confidence that Frederick delivered the goods. In fact, I had a few people afterwards ask me for his info so they could secure him for their upcoming events. That speaks volumes in itself. :)

We used Sophisticated Gents as our DJ for our March wedding. We found the entire company very professional, helpful, and easy to work with. We met with Frederick twice before the wedding and their website was very easy to use to pick out music, pay, and ask questions between meetings. Trent was our DJ for the evening and we could not have been happier! He made the entire night extremely smooth and we had absolutely no stress! Frederick and an incomparable reputation in my hometown growing up. So when my husband and I wanted to book our wedding DJ, I immediately suggested we call him. Even before our phone meeting, I was impressed with the value for the price. After my husband spoke to Frederick, I knew we would be signing a contract. Frederick was so excellent and well worth the extra money we paid to have him drive the 60+ miles from his office to our venue. We received more compliments on our DJ than even our food. Frederick with Sophisticated Gents is great! Frederick was extremely organized when we met with him- he had his computer ready to play songs we were unsure of and made the process of picking a few of the formality songs out so simple.
Our ceremony music was perfect, both the processional and recessional. A family friend played music for us while guests were being seated and Frederick worked with him so smoothly, helping our friend set up his equipment, etc.
Our reception was above all the best, Frederick read our guests so well and kept everyone entertained all night! He knew when to interject to get everyone on the dance floor and worked so well with our wedding planner to stick to our timeline as far as formalities go.
Sophisticated Gents provided uplighting for our reception as well, it was beautiful and beyond what I had expected!

Frederick was a wonderful DJ. He helped my husband and I plan from cross country, and gave us his honest opinions. At the reception, Frederick was extremely helpful with everything. He would check on us to see if we needed anything, and move objects for us to get beautiful pictures with the photographer. He played music that everyone would enjoy, and the bubble machine for certain dances were enjoyed by all the children. What can I say? Frederick is the best! I knew the reception party was going to be great but I was a little worried how the ceremony music was going to turn out since we got married in our home and the "aisle" (staircase) was not long and my music selection was very unique (pop opera and choral groups). It all turned out beautiful... I loved hearing the music I selected playing as I was getting ready. It was just as I had imagined it would be and really set the tone for the rest of the wedding and reception. Then the cocktail hour and dinner music were so elegant... It was the perfect mood that I wanted to create in the room. On to what Soph Gents does bestie ... Party Time! The reception was a blast!! We are old enough to have kids in college so we didn't envision a reception of downing shots and dirty dancing but we did want danceable music like Latin/Pitbull, Uptown Funk and line dancing with the DJ. We had such an awesome time we kept asking the Freddie to stay later. You know it's a good party when all the guests are so well taken care of and the music is so good that bartender is out there dancing!!! Soph Gents also did a great job transforming our home into a wonderful nightclub feel with their strategically placed up lighting. Thanks again for making our wedding everything we imagined!!

Frederick not only provided DJ services but draping, my centerpieces, decorating head table, cake table, gift table, provided lighting, decorated the deck I was married on and all doing so in the peacock theme I had requested. Frederick provided games, music and also made sure that everything was taken care of as far as the ceremony and reception. He gave me my dream wedding, when I walked into the reception it was absolutely breathtaking!! Beautiful and pure perfection. He loves what he does and it shows in his outstanding work!!!

We used Sophisticated Gents for our wedding and were 100% satisfied with our choice. Terrance was our DJ for our ceremony and reception and Sophisticated Gents provided an amazing steel drum player for our cocktail hour. Both exceeded our expectations and were so fun, friendly and helpful. I have never been to a wedding where there was so much interacting and all our guests were dancing until the last song. DJ Terrance was so helpful and even offered to get us drinks from the bar if he saw we were low and just wanted to make sure we were having a great time. Sophisticated Gents is highly recommended!!!

AMAZING DJ!!!!! We had Fredrick as our DJ for our ceremony and reception, and let me just tell you, he was phenomenal!! Fredrick was so fun, full of energy and great ideas, very flexible and easy to work with, super friendly and is genuinely caring for his clients and their happiness. We can tell he absolutely loves his job and it definitely shows in the quality and professionalism of his work. I will recommend Fredrick and his team till I'm blue in the face. Everyone had a blast at the wedding and Fredrick helped make that happen. I look back on the videos of the reception and not one person was sitting down out of the 80 people that attended. Everyone was dancing, including Fredrick, and was loving the vibe of the party. Phenomenal work, and phenomenal person. Thank you Fredrick and Sophisticated Gents!!!!!

DJ Frederick was one of the best pieces of our wedding reception. He was sure to keep the event upbeat and professional and he made sure to keep the day focused on us and kept the night going in the direction we requested. We decided to do blue up-lighting in the room and it transformed the space into a breathtaking oasis that everyone loved. From our first meeting to the last dance DJ Frederick had us excited and stress free. Frederick was an awesome DJ/MC! My guests had nothing but positive comments about how fun our reception was and some even said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to! I let Frederick choose most everything besides a couple songs, and he did an amazing job reading the crowd! There were even a couple crowd interaction games that everybody loved!! Frederick is AWESOME!!! He did the music for our ceremony and reception all outside at the Crowne Plaza. We had the ability to choose every song we wanted him to play if we wanted, but we met with Frederick twice before the wedding and really loved him, so we told him to play whatever he felt like the party needed. He also did some lighting on the dance floor that really added to the night. We were totally unfamiliar with how much DJ's cost for a wedding with lighting and were a little nervous that Frederick was a little over budget but he was worth every penny!!! I can not even tell you how many of our guests came up to us after the wedding asking us about our DJ and saying how he was the best they have heard at a wedding. We could not be happier with our choice, he is definitely the best DJ on the Space Coast, and he truly made our wedding UNFORGETTABLE!

Trent was AMAZING!! If you are looking for a fun, energetic, and professional Dj please go with this company! They did our uplighting at The tides and everything was very affordable! Trent was hilarious and very interactive to help get te crowd dancing and everyone was smiling! Our guest kept coming up to us telling us how awesome the Dj was and how it was the most fun wedding they have been to!

We used Frederick for our wedding June 7th 2013 and could not be happier with his professionalism and attention to detail! We originally had a friend that was going to DJ, never use friends, and something went wrong two months before. We were in a panic and did not think we could get a DJ as most of the recommended were booked already. We didn't think we would be able to get the best and we called anyway and by the grace of God, the best, Frederick, was available and ready to help us. I was very pleased with their services, very well organized, pleasant to work with, and made me feel comfortable with all the planning. I was at one point a bridezilla but Fred kept me calm and reassured me everything will be fine. My wedding was a success. They decor and center pieces were amazing. The place looked stunning. Gee, I hardly ever fill out these surveys.

My wife and I had the kind of wedding that people write about....classy, romantic, and hassle-free. Much, if not all, the credit goes to Frederick.... and Sophisticated Gents. The lighting was superb. The coordination of events was flawless. The entertainment was extremely professional and not over-bearing. My wife and I had lots of input on the music and décor, but Frederick made it happen. Our guests could talk, dance, drink, and "get down" in an environment that said classy and fun the whole time. Our friends still talk about our wedding as one off the best weddings they ever attended. I would have to agree... even if it were our own wedding!

I must admit, that my husband and I were very wary of hiring a DJ for our wedding. We wanted something VERY low-key but with good energy and seriously contemplated just having a friend DJ or playing an iPod during our reception. We interviewed a few DJs in town. We had heard about Frederick and how great he is, but mainly heard of his high energy. We were a bit worried about someone with "high energy" thinking it would be too much for the type of wedding reception we wanted. What ultimately made us hire Frederick was his professionalism and how he actually listened to what we wanted. Other DJs had their own agendas and ways they wanted to run "the show."
We. Had. The. Best. Wedding.!!!!!!!! Frederick took care of our ceremony music, cocktail hour and our reception. He played the music we wanted and mixed up different genres in such a great way. We had the absolute BEST time at our wedding and could not have asked for anything better. We had a small wedding (45 or so people) and EVERYONE danced. The dance floor was never empty and the music suited everyone from our age group (late twenty to thirty- year olds) all the way up to my grandmother. Frederick did not create a "show" out of our wedding. He made a wonderful memory for us. Our guests raved about him and keep telling us how much fun they had.
We are so grateful we were able to have Frederick be part of our wedding. He added such fun to our wonderful night.

I had nothing but compliments from everyone on our DJ! He kept everything moving along smoothly, without being too overbearing. He came up to me and my husband several times throughout the night to make sure we were happy with the way everything was going. They allow you to choose songs that you definitely want played, and ones that you want on your "do not play list". Everything is done online so you can be sure you have everything covered! They made the whole process very worry free!
