  I cannot say enough great things about this DJ. We got this DJ for my daughters Quince and I can honestly say we went with the best DJ in town! Sonido Poder was amazing, kept the crowd going and knew exactly what type of music to play. Very professional! I would def use him again!

  My daughters party was awesome!!! Thank you to sonido Poder team for helping me get the itenerary going and helping us keep on schedule. We hired the team at an Expo and were scarred because he had no idea how it would be but this was definitely the best choice. They made sure all our request were met and kept us on the dance floor all night long. I would recommend this family to anyone looking for great atmosphere at their party!! Thanks again to the sonido poder team!

  Sonido Poder dj at our wedding in Fort Worth Tx , Abel was an awesome dj . He helped us prepare our wedding music , presentation , and helped coordinate the event . I highly would recommend Sonido Poder to all my friends and family . Thank you for a job well done .

  Sonido Poder was a father/son team. Abel, the father, was great at helping us plan the music for the ceremony, dinner and reception. He was very helpful during the whole process and even made sure my husband and I got to eat during the dinner instead of being bombarded by guests and well wishers. He is very personable and was a joy to work with. However, he was booked for two parties in the same building (we knew this ahead of time) and while he was at the other party his son was playing the music which was not up to par. Songs would start playing and he would abruptly end the song after only a few seconds of playing to switch to other songs or genres of music. True, I didn't have all that many dancers but when people would jump up to dance to a song it would be turned off before they got to the dance floor. I had several guests who made it a point to complain to me during the reception about the quality of the music.

  We hired Sonido Poder 1 year in advance before our event took place on St. Patrick's Day of 2018. We found them at a quince expo in Dallas. Reluctant at first to hire the team because they were super over priced. DJ Abel willing to say anything to lock in a deal, ensured me that if I signed a contract with them right then and there paid in full he would drop the price by $800. So then the package became more realistic, so he hooked us in and we signed. What DJ Abel fails to understand is that when he's talking to customer, he's probably wheeling and dealing with many people. All feeding them the same lines I was told. Not realizing that I as a customer only talked to one DJ service and I remember exactly everything that Abel offered. Super nice family- I just didn't get everything we agreed upon. A DJ is the one most important thing at your event. He's the emcee that will set the night on the right track. If a DJ is not playing the music that was requested and plays lousy music then the guest don't want to dance and by 10pm everyone has went home. DJ Abel didn't even show face at my event and when I asked the replacement he sent... he was like ummm, he's coming later. Of course DJ Abel never showed up because he was too busy not working my event and posting the wonderful party he did decide to replace my event with. The DJ I did have at my party had no clue what was going on, got names wrong, messed up the order of events and barely said two words. I will never recommend Sonido Poder to anyone, someone's word of mouth goes a long way.

  Very dissatisfied

  I paid for a package that cost me over $3200 that included sparks and clouds. I did not get the clouds. I reached out to him and his wife multiple times to get refunded for that service, but they avoided my texts and calls. His services were not all that how they make it seem.

  Do not hire!!

  Extremely unsatisfied with their service. I hired sonido poder to DJ my daughter's Quinceañera however they did not show up. They sold my event to a different Dj and didn’t even communicate this to me! I paid for additional services that were not rendered. I’ve contacted them since and they’re giving me the run around.

I paid him for full equipment and he only carry the basics, he do not respect the contract we signed, he wanted to charge me for full service at the last minute 800 dollars more fucking ridiculous, his promises were false and to finish 🍒 he left before the event ended when he had to conclude it. He ruined my investment of 20 thousand dollars 🤬 do not hire him is the worst ever

  No contraten a este DJ es 0 profesional . Yo firmé un contrato donde él me ofrecío pantalla gigante , Cámara de humo infinidad de luces y no se cuanta cosa más que es lo que ofrece en su página de Facebook. Para comenzar...quedamos en reunirnos para hablar sobre la música y 2 horas antes de nuestra cita, su esposa (la manager) Se comunicó conmigo para hacer mi saber que cancelaría la cita y que yo tendria que mandar Toda la información sobre lo que yo quería que tocaran por mensaje de texto.. Y no conforme con eso el y yo habíamos quedado que él tendría que instalar todo un día antes de la fiesta y resulta que tampoco apareció. Finalmente apareció el día del evento 2 horas antes y lo único que puso fue 2 bocinas y 2 pantallas minúsculas con 2 luces miserables lo que me pudo a Haber costado cualquier DJ de $300. Y pon una actitud muy déspota no contraten a este señor por favor, Arruinara su su fiesta.

  DO NOT HIRE the DJ who works with this company by the name of Sonido Poder and Abel Garcia. They’re a joke. He messed up multiple times during our wedding reception and was completely unprepared. When we reached out to him to see about a partial refund he said we could meet in person but refused to meet with me without my husband even though it was only my name on the contract. When I got back with him about a time and day that my husband would be available to meet with him he said that he had to postpone until two more weeks. The day before were supposed to meet with him he wouldn’t confirm a time and place with us and then said for us to stop all communication with him because we are harassing him. We are now in the process of taking him to Smokey lanes Court. Do not hire this DJ

  My party was good the dj wasnt

  Well the party would have been great but the dj would stop the music that people were dancing to before it ended and then changed the genre completely to something that would clear the dance floor
