We had the pleasure of working with Sonia for both our engagement photos and our wedding, and the experience was truly incredible. From the very beginning, she made us feel comfortable and confident, and it was clear how passionate and talented she is.
On our wedding day, despite a brief period of heavy rain, everything still felt absolutely perfect and we credit much of that to Sonia and her team. They were professional, organized, and brought such a calm, positive energy that helped the day run smoothly.
We’ve already received our wedding album, and they look incredible. We couldn’t be happier and strongly recommend her! -

Absolutely love!
Working with Sonia was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she brought so much professionalism, warmth, and genuine care to the entire process. On the wedding day, she went above and beyond—not just as our photographer, but as someone who truly wanted our day to be perfect.
She has an incredible eye for detail and captured every moment beautifully, from the big emotional highlights to the little in-between moments we didn’t even realize were happening. Looking through our photos feels like reliving the day all over again.
Beyond her talent, Sonia creates such a comfortable and fun atmosphere. Even people who normally feel awkward in front of a camera were commenting on how natural and at ease she made them feel.

Having a photographer that is personable is more important than you think, because you will be spending one of the most important days of your life. Sonia was such a joy to be around. Personable, Fast Delivery, Professional, Amazing Experience
We chose Sonia as our photographer after doing research for our 09/30/23 wedding in Houston, Texas. Her packages were affordable for the amount of coverage we were wanting (9 hours). Before the actual wedding, we met several times on Zoom to talk about our vision for where we were wanting our portraits, timelines, etc. This was also great for developing a relationship with Sonia--which definitely translated to the shots the day of! Sonia and her second shooter were professional, on time, and super personable the day of our wedding. I especially want to emphasize two things: Sonia noticed my veil was on backwards before the ceremony!! She's such a pro and life saver. She also happened to be carrying a sewing kit among her supplies which came in clutch when a button on a bridesmaid's dress came undone before the ceremony. This obviously demonstrates her professionalism and how much she cares for the couples she shoots. In terms of speed, Sonia sent us previews within a week! We were able to enjoy these before flying back from our honeymoon which was amazing and super fast! We got all our beautiful pictures in early November both through an online gallery and via mailed USBs. Overall, Sonia was one of the best vendors we worked with and we can't recommend her enough!!! -

Best Photographer
Sonia Alexandria is an absolute amazing photographer. You can tell by the years of experience she has. We found her last minute and we are beyond thankful we did. We had originally booked another photographer to take our engagement and wedding pictures but when we received our engagement pictures we were not happy at all so we decided we needed to find someone else for our wedding pictures and we found Sonia. She helped all of us pose, reminded everyone to smile, the pictures looked absolutely beautiful and magical. She will always have a special place in our hearts as she played a big role in capturing such beautiful moment in our lives. She captured my dress beautifully and my veil, she made sure the background looked amazing, and made sure to tell those around us to move so that they wouldn't come out in the background. Sonia is definitely talented and her years of experience show it! If I am ever in need of a photographer Sonia is our girl!! I recommend her 100% I wish she could have also taken our engagement pictures I know she would have captured every detail. -

Sonia Alexandria Photography is everything we could have wanted in a photographer. Sonia was honestly our best vendor. She is so knowledgeable about the wedding industry and was so helpful leading up to the wedding. I did Flower Moxie for my flowers, which means I didn't have an actual florist for my bridal portraits. Sonia was able to hook me up with a bouquet from Event by Ova that was literal perfection. I feel like Sonia really tried to understand me as a bride and got my vision. I loved shooting with her. I'm a pretty high strung person, and I found her to be calming. Plus, she recommended including my cat in my bridal portraits! If anyone knows me, they know this was the absolutely most perfect suggestion for me. I'm obsessed with my cat, so it made the portraits even more special. Cats are not the best models, but she did an amazing job capturing us. The actual wedding pictures are also gorgeous. She has such a great eye for detail and captured everything we wanted. I am so glad we booked her! I want to get married again just so we can shoot with her again! lol I will definitely be keeping an eye out for her mini sessions for family portraits with her in the future. Sonia is the best. -

Great pricing on wedding packages! We got engaged in April, and I thought it might be too late for us to do engagement photos, but I'm so glad we did. We did them in early November and got them back about 2 weeks later. They look amazing! She's great at guiding you and posing. I didn't think we'd have enough time to do an outfit change in an hour session, but she's so efficient. We got tons of photos and used every minute! -

Sonia is absolutely amazing! Not only did she help capture my dream photos but her friendliness and easy to talk to persona really tied everything together. I knew what pictures she was taking while she was posing us but I had no idea how beautiful they would turn out. I've gotten a ton of compliments from friends on the quality of all my wedding photos. If I could rate any higher I absolutely would. Highly highly recommend! -

Words can't express how happy we are that Sonia was our wedding photographer! From the beginning of wedding planning, we were overwhelmed with vendor options. All the way from the initial phone call with Sonia, to our engagement photo session, to the day of the wedding, she put us at ease and was an absolute dream come true to work with. When it came time for our engagement photos, we were a bit nervous and didn't know what to expect since it was one of our first times ever having professional photos taken. She quickly made us feel comfortable and at ease. Best of all, Sonia wasn't afraid to give occasional tips and subtle direction on posing, fix wind blown hair, or adjust an unintentional rolled shirt sleeve, all while still capturing candid moments and letting the whole process feel natural. I really appreciated her eye for all of the small details that often go overlooked but make a world of difference when it comes to the final product. We walked away from our session absolutely blown away at how enjoyable and effortless Sonia made the whole experience feel. As for the day of the wedding, Sonia and her second shooter showed up early, greeted us with smiles, and patiently answered all of our questions throughout the day. We had a wedding of about 230 guests, and the wedding party alone was about 20 people...it was no easy feat! However, Sonia and her second shooter were able to gracefully and efficiently manage photos with our large wedding party, dynamic family relationships, and lively wedding guests, all while staying upbeat, on schedule, and communicating professionally with other day-of vendors that were present. They both exceeded our expectations. Wedding planning was so stressful at times, especially with the mind-boggling amount of wedding vendors available to choose from. If I had to pick one piece of advice to pass along to someone who is in the process of planning a wedding, it would be to allow your photographer decision be an easy one by letting Sonia capture your special day. She is truly a gem and her talent is unparalleled. (Excuse the photo dump.....I couldn't pick just one!) -

From our first communication to the delivery of photos Sonia was awesome! She was very clear and very detailed on expectations, how to's, and directions for our photoshoot. She truly captured the love in our eyes during our engagement shoot with her. Her photos are light and airy which allowed for the natural colors to shine through and for my fiancé and I to be the center of attention even with such beauty as our background. I cannot wait to have these photos displayed at our reception! -

Sonia did our engagement and wedding pictures, she was amazing! We loved the end product and working with her was fun and easy. While shooting she had a lot of creative ideas to capture the best moments and seemed very knowledgeable about the perfect spots to shoot. During both sessions I wasn’t sure on the vision I wanted for our photos but Sonia stepped in and made it happen so effortlessly! Our pictures were beautiful and more than we expected. The wedding day can be a little stressful so I’m very thankful Sonia made us laugh and enjoy the process. -

We are so happy that Sonia took our engagement photos! She is such a wonderful photographer and was extremely attentive to all of our questions. She did an amazing job at guiding us during the engagement photo shoot process, like helping us pick the perfect location for the shoot, knowing the best poses, and really making the moment feel special.
