This company is fantastic! We could not have pulled off the wedding of our dreams without them! They were there for every step of the planning process, even though we were in a different time zone (even stayed up late to accommodate our schedules!) They showed up on time, were extremely professional, and conducted everything so beautifully. Our music was perfect, we had no issues with the equipment, and they brought life to our wedding in a way I never thought possible. We got so many compliments on their MC'ing, and multiple people told us it was one of the smoothest-flowing weddings they had ever been to! We owe that to Something New and the incredible service they provided us. If you want top-notch service and to stress-free planning, please choose them for your big day!

BEST DECISION YOU WILL MAKE IS BOOKING SOMETHING NEW ENTERTAINMENT! She was not a DJ. She was a Master of Ceremony! Anna stepped in to save the day at my wedding, and blew everyone away. She showed that being a DJ isn't just playing music. She kept my wedding a complete blast, and made sure everything was PERFECT for my husband and I. Not to mention she is a wonderful and super fun human. She was a gift from god to say the least.

Justine and Anna-Jeanine did a wonderful job at our wedding. They were prepared and professional, and the lights they set up in our reception venue looked great. DJAJ designed our monogram using our wedding invite as inspiration and it came out so cool! They kept the evening flowing and stuck to our "play" and "do not play" lists. Would recommend!

Something New Entertainment was more than a DJ service for our wedding. They were pseudo-wedding planners, ensuring that every little detail was taken care of and checked in case we wanted anything else. SNE did our sound for the ceremony, which was wonderful given the many ceremony music requests we made. They also did our music for the reception, which was excellent! They even led us in a line dance or two. They also did a wonderful job at a simple, warm lighting design that provided additional lighting for the room and ambiance. All in all, SNE is a vendor that you can't be without!

Anna-Jeannine did all of the lighting work and our backdrop for our reception and it was absolutely beautiful! The up lighting gave the room a serene glow and the backdrop really made the head table stand out. She even designed a personalized monogram to light up our dance floor! Our head table was track lighted and also our cake and candy bar were pin spotted. She really came through on everything we discussed and it took my breath away how amazing everything looked. We have received many compliments on the lighting and it looked awesome in all of the pictures! I can’t thank her enough for turning our hotel ball room into my dream reception venue!

When we hired Something New Entertainment to be our MC and lighting and drapery designers I wasn't sure of what we would get. I knew it would be nice but I wasn't prepared for how awesome everything was. From the pre-planning to the wedding day they were very professional and outstanding. Justin and Anna-Jeannine were not just "the music" they were there to meet our every need during the reception. The lighting and the drapery added a beautiful touch to our reception. It made the atmosphere so much more elegant.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about SNE. The entire team went above and beyond to make us comfortable, and happy with our day. They made us feel special, calm, and were amazing! Anna Jeannine was a great officiant and was a perfect fit for our perfect day.

Our DJ was Tony Hanf, he was fantastic. He kept the party moving all night and was so much fun to work with.

Another vendor recommended by my brother. They were great and listened to us throughout the whole planning. It was a little slow in the beginning and when I went over and told them to get it going they did just that. Our outline wasn't that great but Something New did a great job and everyone had a great time! They even had some uplighting with our names on the walls and the floors.

When my husband and I first got engaged, and the first fits of excitement settled we realized we had one big worry. We had to find a way to blend two different cultures into one night and musically we thought we'd never find a DJ service (short of one that spoke both languages) to work smootlhy with a live Croatian band.

Working with Something New and their entire staff proved to be a great experience. They put out minds at ease by answering every question, responding to every e-mail/phone call, and undertanding that what we needed from them was going to be different than most weddings.

Our reception went off without a hitch. With the DJ's great announcing skills (and trust me when I say his annunciating skills had to be great with some of the foreign names)our bridal party and us got a great start to the evening. Something New handled the set up of their equipment beautifully beside the band and they had us covered for any mike usage for the speeches that followed.

They took great care to make sure they were working with the band and were able to seamlessly transition from the sounds of the band to American music. We went back and forth between Croatian music and American sounds with no issues. Our guests were truly impressed that we could pull off the sounds of both cultures several times during the night and not have anyone miss a beat or leave the dance floor.

Anna-Jeannine, Justin and their staff were great to work with and were able to give us a great experience of sharing two different cultures. At the end of it all, we have to say we (along with most of our guests) harldy left the dance floor. We danced the night away next to the people that mattered most to us and it was in large part due to Something New Entertainment and their abilities to pull everything together.

Something New Entertainment did a wonderful job at our wedding reception. Anna-Jeannine and Justin completely understood our vision and really got into the theme of our day. They met with us months in advance to understand what we were looking for, answered every e-mail and phone call promptly, met with us a month before the wedding to go over details and had great suggestions for ways to make our wedding run smoothly. The music they played at the reception was great! They really listened to what we liked and disliked in order to develop a play list that kept the dance floor packed all night. They really kept the party flowing and dealt with last minute changes I had to throw at them very well. They really went above and beyond for our wedding! They brought the bridal party drinks and snacks while we waited to make our entrance. Anna-Jeannine even came out to my car and helped me fix the headpiece I was wearing to the reception. Something New Entertainment really made our reception something special

Something New Entertainment was exactly that..something new for entertainment. But before I get there.. lets go back to the beginning. When my husband and I first walked into the Bridal show to select some wedding vendors we were overwhelmed. We knew we really needed to get a DJ and Photographer. We did the battle of the grooms and won a huge package from Something new entertainment..but we werent convinced they were the right choice just because we got a bunch of free stuff. We wanted quality, professionalism, and enthusiasm in our vendors because we knew they were a BIG part of our wedding. After meeting with several DJ's we just hadn't found someone who was committed to us so we figured we had a constant reminder of Something New Entertainment from the bridal show..how about we call them and actually sit down and talk. So we did.. the rest really is history! I LOVE music so I had quite a few (ok maybe a whole page) of songs I wanted to hear and Justin didn't even flinch..just said he was there to play what we wanted and it was no problem! I was amazed! Justin and Anna covered all our concerns in the first meeting and really wanted to know what WE wanted!! What a concept!! We loved that they made it about us..after all it was OUR wedding! Anna and Justin are so easy to get ahold of through the process with any questions or concerns but they are also on top of their game as well. We were able to rest assure that at least our DJ would be on time, provide good music, and be professional. What we got was way more than that though! I couldn't count the amount of times my family and guests came up to me to say what a wonderful job our DJ was doing..I mean keeping the music going through dinner smoothly yet still coming around and helping the wedding party and getting us drinks and making sure we were ok.. NOW THATS SERVICE!! I may be bias but I've never seen so many people dancing at a wedding. The music just had a great flow from song to song so there was never a time everyone cleared the dance floor. Announcements were made at all the right times and Justin kept everything running on time (even when our wedding planner was no where to be found) All I can say is if u are looking for more than ur average DJ.. Look no further than Something New Entertainment. Looking back on my wedding.. I'm so glad I did! Affordable shouldn't mean compromising on experience and commitment to you..and with SNE it didnt have to! :)

Wow!! Something New Entertainment did a FANTASTIC job at our wedding!

We were so nervous when we began looking for a DJ, because we knew it would determine the entire flow of the evening and how much fun our guests would have (no pressure there-right?!). We definitely made the right decision! Anna-Jeanine and Justin were so extremely organized and accommodating that I never felt overwhelmed with anything! When they sat down with us to do our itinerary, they really listened to everything we wanted and had some great suggestions too! The "check-ins" that they would use in the months/weeks/days leading-up to our wedding put me at ease, because I knew exactly what to expect!

When it came to the big day our DJ's didn't disappoint! We had so many guests tell us this was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding reception! The dance floor was packed the entire night! I have never seen a dance floor so crowded at a wedding reception - Anna-Jeanine and Justin did a fantastic job keeping the crowds attention! After the wedding, we had several guests inquire who our DJ was. One of my friends that had already gotten married said that she wished she would have had our DJ for her wedding! I didn't know customer service like this still existed! If you want to feel like your opinions/the way you want things done really matter and would like to have everything planned out far in advance for you so you don't have to stress over it in the weeks leading up to your wedding-this is your DJ!

My wife and I really enjoyed Something New Entertainment at our wedding. They were professional, kind, and very experienced. They played what we wanted and made sure our guests were happy. The thing that really impresses me about their company is how much they care about the couples they serve. I am in the military, and Justin and Anna-Jeannine still check up on me and my wife periodically. How many wedding DJs do you know who take the time to contact their customers and check on them months after their event? They were very helpful and enjoyable. I have, and will continue to recommend them to my friends and family and I plan to use them again in the future for any DJ services I will need.

I can't say enough good things about Something New Entertainment. The staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and courteous. Justin and Anna-Jeannine made my wedding day truly special. They offered excellent ideas and played exactly what we wanted. Justin was full of energy at the reception and really got our guests involved. We got so many compliments on our DJ and my husband, myself, and our guests were very pleased. I would recommend Something New Entertainment in a heartbeat. They are a family business and it is evident how much they care for their clients. If you want a DJ service who understands weddings and will go out of their way to makes yours amazing, then Something New is the DJ for you.

Something New Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding. Right from the start, Anna and Justin demonstrated a very accomodating, helpful, and genuine attitude of service.

We were very selective when finding our DJ because we had been told so many times that this vendor is the most important one to create a memorable and exciting event for our guests - also we just wanted to feel like we could relax and turn it over to someone else without worries.

We were also concerned because we had a very important guest that was trying to make it to our wedding from serving in Iraq - and therefore our date had to be "flexible". I could tell that SNE places their clients in top priority because I felt completely understood; they may as well have been members of my family who felt the very same way we did: hopeful and nervous.

Before our wedding reception, SNE was very quick to provide answers to our questions and requests. I had very many conversations via email and even long phone conversations with Anna - every one shaved off a little bit more stress than the last and convinced me that we had made a good decision by hiring this company. Every request that I made that I thought was strange was received with welcome and fervor - and executed just as well when it came time.

Our guests had a great time and so many of them told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to! I know it was because Anna and Dave were enthusiastic and working hard to ensure that the dance floor was the place to be and that our celebration was one to remember.

I appreciate Anna and Dave so much for the part they played in our wedding. Anyone looking for a DJ for their event would be wise to choose this one.

Something New Entertainment is always professional, always courteous, always willing to go the extra mile for a couple. They are excellent DJs and can fit your style, whatever it is, with excitement, professionalism and overall excellence. We had them DJ our wedding and the dance floor was packed from the beginning of the night to the end of the night. They helped add that extra oomph that had our crowd begging for one more song. Loved them!

We really enjoyed working with Anna-Jeannine and Justin. They were so helpful in ensuring we had our day planned just the way we wanted it. Anna-Jeannine really took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for with our music, so it made the reception a huge success. Our reception was in a older building with huge ceilings, so we were worried about the sound quality and our guest's ability to hear everything. They came in and made sure everything would sound great for our wedding, and it truly did. They are pricier than most other DJs in the area, but we enjoyed working with them.

Something New is great to work with and provides excellent customer service and an awesome planning website. The DJ was very personable and would often check with my husband and I if we needed drinks or anything. The DJ did need to command a little more attention from my guests and possibly be a little louder on the microphone as I had many guests tell me they didn't realize the cake cutting was occurring. The music was great and requests where all played.

Don't get played by this DJ company. While husband and wife, Justin and Anna, seem sweet and caring when it comes right down to it don't trust them to provide the level of service they promise. They made many promises to us and just didn't follow through on them. We were told that a certain DJ would be our lead DJ and on the day of he left after set up and we were left with a shadow DJ.

They lacked organization come wedding day and I felt like I was answering questions that should have been taken care of before wedding day. The DJ lacked energy and did not get our guests involved. Many of the announcements we had been asked to be made were not made.

Trust me, your DJ is vital to a smooth reception. I would not recommend this company and caution you against using their services.
