Intimate Backyard Wedding

Anne and David are an amazing husband and wife team! They really take the time to put in the extra details that when you look at the photos and watch your wedding highlights reel, you see all those little details you forgot about! We had a very small, intimate backyard wedding. Our wedding photos came out so beautiful and the video highlight reel transported us back to that day, bringing all the feels along with it.

I really loved Anne's communication, especially with our phone call a month before the wedding to work out the kinks. Absolutely ADORED her direction day-of. No wasted time and she made us look great in every photo! David was so slick with the camera work as well, half the time we didn't even know he was there!

Kim did an amazing job editing our highlight video and really captured all the details in 3 minutes. He synced it well with the music we chose too (Birds of a Feather by Billie Eilish).

I highly recommend Something New and Blue team to capture your day!!!

Great wedding videography experience!

Anne, David, and Kim did an amazing job throughout our wedding process and with the final videography video! This team was so amazing! Working with Anne and David prior to the wedding was so easy- they were so sweet, professional, organized, and really tailored to what our vision was. Pricing is great and competitive, especially with the high quality work they produce. It was so easy to work with them prior to and during our wedding day. They were prompt and organized and knew how to use the time best. This is very important especially since the wedding day can be hectic! In addition, they knew how to pose us and work well with our other external photographer. I was truly impressed! Choosing your videographer for these reasons are important, and I have no regrets at all. I feel so lucky to have had them during this process. Communication was great and I really enjoyed working with them.

Blue us away!

We used Something New and Blue for our engagement and wedding pictures and wedding videography. I was first enthusiastic to sign with them due to their reasonable prices and how honest and up front and flexible Anne was on our phone consultation. When we met Anne, she is a ball of energy springing into action to get you the right picture. It is clear she loves what she does. She was pretty patient with us (because we’re not exactly models) but was able to get us beautiful photos that we’ll treasure forever. Anne and David showed up ahead of schedule to our (very early) morning wedding and were very easy to communicate with the whole time. Our wedding video brought a tear to my eye and they provided all the raw video and photos in a thumb drive in an engraved box with our names on it. What a special touch! Overall, I highly recommend this crew if you want a passionate, high energy duo, that will get you the perfect shots and video!

An amazing vendor for our wedding!

We were lucky enough to work with Something New and Blue for the videography of our wedding in November of 2022. They were one of the preferred vendors when booking through Wedgewood Weddings in Aliso Viejo, CA, and we were so thankful for their services. From our initial phone call with Anne, to the actual wedding day and the videos received later, Anne and her husband were so professional and so communicative. Sean and I are from Orange County but currently live in Oregon, and everything was done electronically which made for such an easy contract. We had so much fun at our wedding, and the videos they were able to put together will forever serve as fond memories of a very special day. I honestly cannot recommend them enough, and when Sean and I are back in town, we may contact Anne to see if she can take some photos of us, since we didn’t really have an official engagement shoot. It’ll be nice to work with her again, but more importantly I can’t wait to see her again! Truly an amazing couple, and I strongly suggest any bride work with them for their videography needs.

Exceptional wedding photography and videography!

I cannot say enough good things about Anne, David, Bicky and Kim. We chose Something New and Blue's photo/video services for our wedding. When I arrived to the venue, Anne greeted me right away and started shooting as soon as we met that day. Her and her team had already shot all of our flatlays. Throughout the day, they moved with us seamlessly, navigating us through our first look, romantics, ceremony, reception reveal, sunset shots, and so, so, much more. They were with us the whole way. Anne, specifically, added such a fun, vibrant energy to our day! She knows exactly what shot she wants when she shoots, and she made my husband and I laugh so much. We still joke from time to time to "TOUCH NOSES!" "NOW KISS!" She's the best.

Beyond the actual day, the product we received was so much more than we anticipated. We have hours of raw video footage. Video of our entire ceremony. An incredible highlight video. And hundreds upon hundreds of beautiful photos. We are so grateful and happy we choose Something New for our wedding! It was one of the best decisions we made, easily. We've stayed in touch with Anne and Kim, and I cannot say enough about these exceptional, hard-working women. If you choose them for your wedding, you will be rewarded with a lifetime of beautiful memories!

Best videographers!

Amazing and affordable!
Booking and setting up the timeline for our special day with Anne was easy and effortless. Met David at the venue and after the first initial meeting kind of forgot he was there (which is a good thing). He's quick and quiet and gets every shot you want without you having to say anything to him. We received our 4 minute highlight video from Kim and it's AMAZING! I will NEVER regret getting a videographer for our wedding, I cry tears of joy and happiness every time I watch it!

Fantastic A+ photographers!

Something New and Blue Photography are phenomenal! My Husband I and recently married, and after extensive research we chose Anne and David's company to provide photography services for our special day. They were easy to work with and helped us with our timeline and met beforehand at the venue to discuss details. We knew we were working with David and were incredibly thrilled that Anne was also available on our wedding day. We took pictures at 3 locations and all went on time and very smoothly. Anne and David are both very professional, fun to work with, have a very calm demeanor, and have creatively tasteful photographic vision. Anne has been absolutely amazing! She quickly responds to all of my emails, calls, and texts. Can't say enough good things about Something New and Blue! They were great to work with. We had our reception in a vintage airplane museum. Our photographer, David, took incredible photos of us with the planes as a background. The lighting and angles were spot on! They also set up a photo booth that was a blast and made everything match our theme. Our guests are still posting and showing off the pictures! Anne's suggestions for timing on when to do pictures and when to run the photo booth worked out perfect. Their experience, professionalism, and passion for photography is unquestionable. We can't wait to have them back for family occasions and photo sessions!

And I call them " the power couple photographers" Anne and David are ultimately the best! David and Anne were extremely professional, friendly and responsive from the day I met them. We were able to set up our initial meeting fast as my husband and I wanted too book a photographer for our engagement pictures. Their quotes for different packages were very reasonable and they offered discounts for each additional service added. We met once and I booked them as our engagement and wedding photographer- they were flexible in the amount of locations we could have for our session. We had our engagement session in Balboa Island, moved to Crescent Bay Point, then moved down to the actual Laguna Beach area near the rocks. David took so many beautiful photos in all locations and allowed us to change outfits AND have our dog in our photos. At the last location, he educated us about the "blue sky" background and timing and insist we wait for the perfect moment to take "blue sky" photos- he brought out a little bright light which illuminated both of us. He was extremely patient and kind to us and my mom. My mom was helping us carry props and watch our dog. Our photos were breathtaking! Anne kept in constant contact with me to answer all the questions and listened to our need for wedding day photos. She and David actually helped us with our wedding timeline to let us know the time they would arrive at our hotel for "getting ready" photos etc... They also took into consideration that we did not want a "first look", we didn't want to see each other until I walked down the aisle- they gave very good Pros and Cons to this which we took into account. David and Anne both showed up on time on our wedding day- ready to snap! They moved furniture around the hotel to allow room for our wedding party and us to fit without looking cramped in the room. They played with the lighting. They collaborated great with our videographer company (a separate company) to make sure the videographer also got the footage they needed. They were absolutely amazing. Kim took photos for my San Francisco City Hall wedding and I couldn't have been more impressed. My wedding was intentionally small and informal, I really didn't know what to expect, other than wanting a few photos to commemorate the experience. Kim was upfront and honest that this was going to be her first shoot at SF City Hall, but that she was excited for the venue.
You can definitely tell that Kim knew what she was doing and if this was her first shoot at the venue, she didn't let anyone know. Prior to the wedding, she sent me the itinerary and asked if I had anything in mind. She was really organized with the timing of the events and how she let us know her thoughts for photographing the memories so we would have great shots to look back on. Kim did all her homework in advanced, and was waiting for us when we got to City Hall. We were on a time constraint, but she brought us to beautiful locations within and now we have the most wonderful pictures to show for it.
I was a bride who wasn't all too sure what I was looking for, but Kim welcomed that and challenged us to make our day brighter than we could ever expect. The wedding and ceremony were over in a flash, but the memories we have to look back upon are spectacular, and that was all thanks to Kim and Push & Scream for their guidance, professionalism, and beautiful work. Don't hesitate to book them, you will definitely not be disappointed! Thank you again Kim!

Push and Scream delivered the perfect wedding video! It was literally exactly what we wanted and matches the style we had in mind. They captured all of the special moments and were so easy to work with on our big day we barely felt like they were there yet they didn't miss a beat. Wedding photography shopping was one of the hardest things to do for our wedding because there are SO many photographers to choose from. It was even harder for me to sift through photography reviews vs. wedding venue reviews, I kid you not. I was fortunate enough to get a referral from my friend, Stefanie M., to Push and Scream.

Anne was very quick to respond to my initial email inquiry (within the hour). We met with Anne and David (a husband and wife team) in their OC studio and immediately, it felt like we were talking to old friends. We felt so comfortable with them right away and knew we wanted them to shoot our wedding photos. They worked out a custom photography package for us that fit our budget.

On our wedding day, Anne and David both came down to San Diego and were the best photography duo. The ceremony was at a Catholic church and they're very experienced with shooting photography there even with all the strict rules and restrictions set by the church. Everything went smoothly.

I really felt Anne's energy as she reminded me to think happy thoughts and "smile with my eyes." David was cool and calm even though our ceremony ran a bit long, which didn't leave very much time for our photoshoot before the reception, but we got it done all thanks to their efficiency! We did our romantic shots in Balboa Park (SD) and both David and Anne had so many great ideas that we could've stayed there for hours! I can't wait to see their shots!

Edit 2/15/16: Anne and David's turn around time for the sneak peak was lightening fast! All of our guests were amazed that they turned the photos around so quickly! Less than a week for the sneak peak. The rest of the photos followed shortly (just about a month). Wow!

Most of all, we love supporting small businesses, especially a family run one. Anne and David truly love what they do and it shows. They both worked tirelessly during our entire wedding day to keep things on schedule - we were really impressed by that.

Anne and David were referred to me by a friend, and I'll forever be grateful for that recommendation. Over the course of our engagement shoot and through our entire wedding day they were such an a,along team in how they communicated and calmed us down when (for me at least) I was getting tired and grumpy. :) They were very professional, but at the same time, between the shoots, they were our friends. Their photo editing style stuck out to us because it looked crisp, clear and clean-- we're not a fan of over-filtered, processed work, and we were thrilled to find our beautiful wedding photos were edited with the skill and talent we expected. I would love to work with them again in the future as we grow our family (whether puppies or babies!)

After shopping around for a while for affordable photography vendors in northern California, We were very fortunate to have Push and Scream photograph our wedding up north in American Canyon, CA. We could not have hoped for a better, more accommodating vendor! For their price points, the P&S team offers incredible value for the quality of services provided. David (photographer), Kim (Videographer), and Bicky (second shooter), were able to capture our whole day beautifully, from our parents’ homes, to the church ceremony, to the reception hall. The P&S team worked swiftly and creatively to capture beautiful images at the wedding, and the sheer bulk of photos delivered just one month after the event is impressive. We were also provided with a fun “sneek peek” of our photos just a few days after the wedding. David was very calm and professional throughout the whole event, which is a necessary personality type to have around during a very hectic day (If you become super stressed out like we were, rest assured David will calm you down and encourage you not to worry about your timeline and the hundreds of other things going on!) We used Push and Scream services this passed June for our outdoor wedding in Littleton, Colorado. After looking at many different videographers and even decided whether or not we wanted to have the extra cost of a videographer, we are so glad we decided to go with Push and Scream! They were easy to work with, yet professional. They captured every detail, every toast, every vow, yet they were discreet in doing so. During the ceremony and reception, their presences wasn't noticeable, but their final product didn't miss or overlook anything that happened during the day. We hired push and scream for our wedding. Once we meet David and Anne we knew that they were going to be our photographers/videographers for our special day. We hired Push and Scream to be our wedding vendors for our special day. We got their photography and videography package, as well as their photobooth package. We just simply love all their work, so Push and Scream was a one stop shop for us. Anne, David, and video crew were amazing people to work with. They listen to what kind of photos and video images we wanted and they took the time out of their busy schedule to do a walk through at our wedding venu.

From start to finish we just LOVED working with Anne and David! They were super nice, professional and accommodative throughout the whole process.. We came in with as little as no idea what we wanted, but they lead us through everything and needless to say the results were amazing!!

From putting down a timeline for us down to the minute (I am not very organised and I needed that lol), to picking beautiful spots for our photographs and guiding us through the whole thing, what kind of shots we should get, with who, etc.. and what can I say? I probably would've gotten 2 good pictures from the day, but instead I have plenty!!

Ofc the day of the wedding is crazy and your head is all over the place, people are having fun (some a little too much), there's a lot of family and friends coming together from different places in the world and David was simply great in handling that situation, calm as he is, making us calm and assuring me we would get everything done. He managed to get beautiful pictures in between the whole running around greeting people and us being busy being bride and groom as well as the very important special moment pictures.

The turnaround was very fast as well and we got our very nice usb in a beautiful box only about a month after the wedding.
I truly recommend Anne and David as you photographer! I know we will use them again in the future, worst thing about them is that now I can't decide which pics I want to blow up and my home might end up like a shrine to my own wedding :D THANK YOU PUSH AND SCREAM!

When I was looking for a videography I wanted to know what kind of quality I would be getting for my wedding video and what kind of highlight ideas they had for me. They made it very simple for me and they gave me time to choose the songs for my highlight video. Everybody has a different way of filming so see some of their works and see if they would be the one for you. Look for videographer that are ceative, friendly, understanding and patient, because sometimes wedding can be a bit chaotic. If pricing is a problem with you talk to them and see if they can help you out and cut you some slack... Well, that's all I can think of and good luck to all you love birds!!!

We chose Push and Scream for our wedding videographers and had such a wonderful experience from the moment I first called them. My fiancé and I were unsure if we wanted to spend money on a videographer as it can be expensive. However, it has been 2 months since our wedding and we watch the videos (5 min highlight, 30 min longer version, and raw footage clips) more than anything else! We love the videos and think Push and Scream did an incredible job. The videographers were punctual, professional, and personable. The editors were able to really make our special day come alive and we were very pleased with everything! I highly recommend Push and Scream as a videographer!!

We have nothing but good things to say about Anne, David and Kim at Push and Scream. We hired them for our wedding to take our photos, record video and run the photo booth and we were thrilled with how everything came out. They ran everything seamlessly and were nothing but professional through the entire planning process. They responded to any question we had immediately and we never felt like we didn't know what was going on. The best part is that we've received numerous amounts of compliments on our photos, the videography and how fun our photo booth was. Thank you again Anne, David and Kim for making our day one we will never forget. We will definitely be in touch whenever we need some photos taken. Good luck with the baby!

We were very thankful and impressed with Push and Scream Team as a whole! From chatting and setting up photo sessions, to engagement shoots, to wedding day events, and photobooth set ups, everything was very easy and organized. It was also great to have Kim as the Videographer, which made the whole Push and Scream Package very convenient. We ended up booking photography, videography, photobooth, and slideshow with the Push and Scream team and they we were very pleased. The pictures and videos look very profesional, and they knew what important moments to catch! All in all a great wedding day, and it was such a pleasure working with Anne, David, and Kim, and the photobooth team as well! Also their presentation when the photos are finished was superb, all packed in a neat looking USB customized Push and Scream Drive! They were also very fast at editing and providing sneak peek as well! Thanks again!

We decided to hire push and scream for are wedding because they were able to supply everything we wanted for the wedding and more!! David and Anne did an awesome job capturing our special day and took some great shots for our engagement session. We absolutely loved our montage slide show prepared by Bicky and Kim was easy to work with as our videographer and our wedding video was great. We really liked how push and scream was able to offer us a photographer, videographer, montage and photo booth all in one and we didn't have to scramble to find different vendors for each, which made wedding planning much easier. Thanks again for being apart of our special day!!!!!

Words cannot explain how great of a job push and scream services was for our wedding! They provided great customer service along with great prices for what you get. For the photo booth Anne was amazing!! They arrived on time and was a hit at our wedding. Kim, our videographer did a perfect job to capture each and every moment of our special day. They also can provide a slideshow montage video and made the wedding planning so much less stressful with their professionalism and always responding quickly. We couldn't be more pleased! We used Push and Screams service for our engagement pictures, photographers, videographer and photo booth for our wedding! I can't thank Anne and David enough for being part of our wedding stress free day! From the beginning of our planning to the actual day of our wedding! Everything turned out perfect!!! We had an engagement shoot at 2 locations and both Anne and David were super sweet and patient as me and the fiancé then didn't know what to expect when doing a photo shoot! They made us feel comfy and made us want to hire them for more pictures which is why we decided to use their service on our wedding day! The planning can be very stressful since I didn't hire any coordinator but these duo helped us out a LOT in any way they can! All the questions I had we're responded quickly by Anne and David! They shared some cool ideas to incorporate to our wedding! They made sure that our schedule was on time and if there were potential issues, they fixed it timely. We got our sneak peek wedding pictures and it was amazing! They captured such beautiful pictures which made you want to say "wow" that's us in the pictures! Not to mention, they had a lot of fun props for photo booth! Our guests enjoyed it so much! Once again, thanks Push and Screams for an excellent service! Anne and David, you guys rock!! :)

I would like to thank Push & Scream for their Photo Booth service during my wedding! From beginning to end, my experience with Anne & David has been nothing but positive! From helping me select the right photo booth package, to choosing the photo layout & background, it was obvious that Push & Scream had my interest as a number one priority. Everything that I requested was delivered as promised! We had Kim Nguyen as our videographer on our wedding day, Aug 16, 2014 and she was fabulous! She met with us several times before the wedding to get an idea on how our wedding day will be like and to top it off, she even helped us on how to make our wedding day run smoothly!

I am not a very creative person and luckily, Kim is! When she asked me if I had a song I wanted for the video or have any preferences, I told her no and that I didn't really have any ideas for her. She worked with my non-creativeness and made a wedding highlight video that was beautiful! I received so many compliments for our wedding highlight video and people even asked for her contact information because they were so impressed with her work!

It was a great and fun experience to have them at our wedding. The crew is amazing and you can tell how professional they are, after just a few minutes you'll spend with them. The pictures came out amazing, and many of the shots were great, because we listen to their suggestions. It was a very relaxing atmosphere and it made us feel like we were among friends, with good laughs and positivity. I recommend them with 100% trust and have no worries, because you will be on safe hands :)

We used Push and Scream for our wedding and couldn't be happier! We hired them for the photo booth and videography. The photo booth was a hit and everyone loved how easy it was to use. Our wedding video came out amazing and we also got all the footage they took which we think is a big plus. They were a pleasure to work with; very punctual, fun and professional! I had Kim & David be my videographers for my special day and they were amazing! They capture my moment from beginning to end and recorded all the necessary events to make the highlight reel. The final video was everything I can ask for it will definitely make me watch it over and over again greatest keepsake to have!

Anne and David are great! We used Push and Scream at our wedding (open wedding photo booth) and we loved our experience with them. We shopped around a lot before choosing them. They let us come take sample photos beforehand to make sure we would be pleased with the results and with their props. We found that they had the best quality (we liked the picture quality and photo paper they used), pricing, and service among the photo booths we had looked at. Anne and David are flexible, easy to work with and very quick to respond to questions. Also, they have really fun props that are in good condition and a variety of background colors to choose from. Although they have many options for photo layouts/designs, we wanted to customize ours and this was no problem with them. They even perfected our layout for us making it even better. Lastly, we had soooo much fun looking at all the pics after the wedding (they give you access to the pictures afterward). Thanks Anne and David!

Hired Push and Scream to be my videographer for my wedding. Kim was very professional and prepared for our big day!

She worked around our photographer who was constantly getting in her way, talked to the venue about our lightning (which helped both the photographer and our video) and the resulting video was everything we expected!!!

We asked for our ceremony, speeches, and first dance to be taped and we got that and more film that i didn't think about! The end result came out to be very professional and a great gem to share with my friends.

I would definitely use their services again!

Thank you ANNE Nguyen and your assistant for an amazing time with the photo booth. My sister took a very long time finalizing the "ONE." It was difficult to choose a photobooth until we came across "PUSH AND SCREAM." The props, the size, the rate, the frame options, the EVERYTHING was just right. We couldn't be any happier with the results of the quality of the pictures. Everyone was able to take a copy home and download online as well. The best PARTY FAVORS any guest can ask for. Push and Scream gave us the best gift, memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Anne and Push and Scream production for being very helpful in the process of our wedding. Anne replied instantly via email and if i had further questions she was just a call away. With all our preparation, im very happy to say Push and Scream was stress free. I just got married recently and i would highly recommend Push and Scream for any events you're planning. They are easy to work with and make you feel real comfortable. Anne from "Push and Scream" was nothing less than absolutely AMAZING! We hired her for our wedding and she went above and beyond what we ever could have imagined. Her pictures were so insanely gorgeous I will book her for any future event! They always say to pretend your photographer isn't there but I didn't even have to think about that with her. When we started looking through all the wedding photos we couldn't believe all the shots she got and every single one was at such a top notch, high caliber level. They looked like pictures you would see in a magazine from a celebrities wedding (seriously). Their photo booth services were equally as amazing. I sent Anne one email explaining our wedding theme and she came up with the perfect design for the background of the photos. All of our guests had a blast with the props and double prints, being able to keep a copy and making scrapbook pages (which they also provided). "Push and Scream" also sets up a private link online so you can access all your photos. Our wedding was a few weeks ago and we're still getting messages from people complimenting us on the pictures and photo booth experience. I'm not usually one to write reviews but for those considering using "Push and Scream" I wanted to share the experience we had with them and our highest recommendations.

Everyone on the Push and Scream team was easy to work with and very professional. From the beginning of the process of hiring Push and Scream for a photo montage displayed at the wedding, videography of the wedding and photo booth rental the team worked to find out more about us and what we desired from their services. It was the little touches that really made the difference like providing props for the photo booth that we wanted and working in a timely manner to get our photo montage done and reviewed for our approval with plenty of time if we wanted to delete or add photos. We had other vendors like the DJ and our florist who didn't answer their phones right away or take a day or two to get back to us. Push and scream was just a call, text or email away and always answered and responded quickly. Anne is such a pleasure to work with. She has such great energy to get people motivated for the photo booth. Everyone loved using the photo booth. They wore all the props and took lots of fun pictures, which we got copies of and enjoyed seeing everyone having a good time. We feel very lucky to have been able to work with this team. They really go the extra mile to make your day a special one.

Push and Scream was a great addition to my wedding! The photo booth was not only a wonderful activity for entertaining my young guests (who always seemed to be in it), but all of my adult guests had a great time in the photo booth too! I know that people loved being able to take the pictures home as a party favor and I am so glad that that the pictures are online so we can enjoy them all! Push and Scream provided great props and the booth arrived early, was set up quickly, and ran smoothly throughout my entire reception. Every time I looked towards it, it was in use and people were laughing and having a great time. I will be recommending Push and Scream to my friends to use at their events!

We had Push and Scream's photobooth at our wedding. We got the basic 2 hour package and and everyone loved the photobooth! We were able to provide them with our own template and the prints were high quality. Anne is super responsive and was timely on the day of our wedding. The turnaround for the photos were very prompt as well. Great services!

One of the best photobooth ever! Unlike most company, their booth is very spacious, you can easily fit a large group of friends and still have tons of room and be comfortable while taking some fun and outrageous pictures at any events! Anne and David are one of the most friendly people. Very professional and do their best to meet their clients need and quick respond time. I highly recommend their service to anyone. We had such wonderful experience with them!

They did a great job overall. The photo booth and props were high-quality, and our guests had an awesome time! The only complaint I had was that they started the booth 30 minutes too early, and so it ended 30 minutes too early.
