Beautiful makeup & hair stylings!

Brittney did an amazing job with finding a style of hair & makeup that looked like me, while also encompassing the feel of our wedding day. I loved doing my hair & makeup trial prior to the wedding, and we even made a few slight adjustments on the day of the wedding without issue. Something Blue Stylists had an incredible team that made the getting ready part of the day flow with ease. From bridesmaids to Mother of the bride to me, the bride, we felt the looks we went with looked & felt like us with a beautiful sophistication. Would recommend them to anyone!!

Highly recommend

Something blue stylists did an incredible job for our hair and makeup and were great to work with! My lead stylist, Alicia was amazing. She was professional, sweet, and so detail-oriented. My hair and makeup, as well as all of my bridesmaids, turned out exactly how I wanted and stayed up all night long (even with wild dancing). :) We unfortunately had a power outage and had to change locations minutes before our time started for hair/makeup. Alicia and her team were so quick to respond and understanding/flexible despite the change of plans last minute. So happy with our experience with this team and highly recommend!

Beautiful Friends; Elevated

Working with Something Blue Stylists was a breeze in terms of planning, coordinating, and executing our wedding hair and makeup. I had 13 bridesmaids, 1 bride (lol), and 2 mothers, and they did a phenomenal job. All my girls had their hair in place all day, their make lasted 12 hours (or more), and they did all we could have asked. Andi was an absolute dream maker and made all my hair and make up dreams (I didn't even know I had) come true so beautifully. Thank you to all the ladies that supported me on my wedding day. It was absolutely incredible to work with you.

Wonderful!

I loved working with Something Blue Stylists! Andi was super professional and helpful during the initial phases of figuring out cost estimates and availability. My assigned stylist was Kayla and she was amazing! At my trial, she worked with me to come up with such a beautiful look for both makeup and hair. On the wedding day, her and her hair stylist made sure everyone felt relaxed and worked with my bridesmaids to figure out looks that complimented them all beautifully. My wedding was in southwest Michigan, and they arrived right on time and got through everyone in an efficient manner! I loved the ease of having both hair and makeup done by the same vendor. I cannot recommend their services enough!

Kayla is awesome!

Kayla from Something Blue is amazing! At my trial she nailed exactly what I was looking for with both my hair and makeup. She made me feel super comfortable and both our sessions were relaxed and fun. Amazing Experience - Highly Recommend!

I would highly recommend Something Blue Stylists and Andi and her team were amazing! Right from the start when I first contacted them regarding services for my wedding, Andi was super helpful and responded quickly to all my questions. I quickly decided to book and everything flowed so great , Andi helped me sort out everything. From the makeup and hair preview to the actual day of, Andi made me feel so comfortable and I really trusted her advice and let her take my vision and add her touches based on her expertise. Andi and her team made sure we stayed on schedule on the day of and I was so happy with the way my hair and makeup turned out, it was exactly what I wanted. My bridal party also looked beautiful! I also added the extra time for Andi to stay and help out and it was the best decision! She went above and beyond starting with driving my dress to the venue since it was pouring rain all day to also touching up my hair and makeup during our first look and bridal party photos. Andi was incredible to work with and really helped things run smoothly which helped keep my stress level low which is amazing on such a big day! If you are still on the fence, you should just book Something Blue Stylists! They are professional and talented and it was so convenient that they came to our rental house and set up everything right where we were rather than having to go anywhere. It was a wonderful experience and I am thrilled with the services from Something Blue Stylists! :)

Something Blue Stylists is AMAZING!

Something Blue Stylists recently did the hair and makeup for my wedding and they did an absolutely amazing job!

The preparations for the wedding started with a preview appointment about 6 weeks before the wedding. The head stylist, Brittney, did an excellent job of listening to the hair and makeup look I wanted and making it a reality! I normally wear minimal makeup, so I didn't want to look overdone. Brittney did an excellent job of just enhancing my looks!

On the day of the wedding, Brittney, and her team did an amazing job with myself, my bridesmaids, mom and mother-in-law. Each person had very different request for their desired hair and makeup look, from minimalistic makeup to more bold, heavier makeup. Brittney and her team did any amazing job with everyone based on what each person wanted. Everyone felt so confident and loved their look!

Brittney stayed during pictures and followed us around to touch everyone up. After the ceremony was done she removed my veil and gave everyone some final touch ups before leaving. This does cost extra, but I'd highly recommend it!

Not only did Something Blue Stylists do an excellent job, Brittney and her team were so incredibly friendly and nice! If you are looking for a hair and makeup stylist, Something Blue Stylist is amazing and I would highly, highly recommend them to everyone!

The kindest and most talented in Indy

I loved, loved, loved working with Andie and her team for bridal hair and makeup. I cannot overestimated to other brides how wonderful it is to get ready in the comfort of your own home. Andie and her assistant came with fully-stocked kits, chairs and lighting in tow, and took care of my entire bridal party (nearly ten women total!) -- all while we were sipping mimosas and dancing to early 00's jams in my kitchen. It was perfection. Additionally, my makeup lasted ALL DAY -- through happy tears and dance sweat. Andie even gifted me a lip gloss to carry with me for touch-ups throughout the day. She and her team are worth every single penny.

Great Hair and Makeup!

I used Something Blue Stylists for my hair and makeup for my wedding, along with the hair and makeup for the bridesmaids and moms. They were super nice and I loved the makeup they did! It looked so beautiful! The best thing about their hair and makeup is that it stays on ALL DAY. I had an outdoor wedding at the end of June, and we took our photos from 3pm-5pm and the wedding went until 10pm. I didn't have a single hair out of place all night and my makeup didn't melt in the 90 degree heat!

Flawless Glam

Brittany and her team could not have been better! From our trial to my wedding day, Something Blue Stylists were professional, responsive, accommodating, and made me feel like a Hollywood starlet. I loved my wedding make-up. It covered my every flaw and stood out in photos, while still feeling 100% myself. The absolute best.

We worked with really exceptional vendors for our New Year's Eve wedding, and Andi was no exception. She has been incredible from the moment I started working with her over a year ago. Her team has hundreds of rave reviews online, and for good reason.

We planned our wedding from out of state, and Andi was always responsive and communicative whether it was over email or on the phone. She made everything extremely clear, and dealt with my countless questions like a pro. She also worked seamlessly with our wedding coordinator on all logistics. Andi also went out her way to make sure she could accommodate my bridal trial while I was in town for my bridal shower, so I wouldn't have to make an extra trip.

Andi always made me feel at ease. I knew with certainty that the entire bridal party was going to feel like the best versions of ourselves on my wedding day. She and her team are talented, organized and just really fun to be around. I'd never hesitate to recommend Something Blue.

True, Natural Beauty

Andi and her team are phenomenal! I felt gorgeous on my wedding day and I owe a ton of that to Andi. My makeup was flawless. My hair was beautiful. It did fall near the end of the night, but I blame that on the very windy day in Indianapolis and not on Andi by any means. I had a slight moment of panic because on the day of I decided to change my hairstyle from my hair & makeup trial due to the windy conditions outside (our ceremony was outside). I let stress get the best of me, but luckily Andi was there to calm my nerves. Her motherly instincts kicked in. Andi spoke softly, made slight adjustments, and made sure I was happy with the end result. My only advice would be to go into the day knowing the exact lip stick and color you would like to use because it is nice to not have to think of that the day of and then re-applying is much easier throughout the evening. My girls looked so natural and beautiful. Thanks again Something Blue Stylists!

What cant she do?

Andi and her team made me and my bridesmaids feel so so good. They are so easy to work with and their prices were right in line with my budget. I also LOVED the fact they traveled and could set up at my in laws house where we got ready. I was so excited after my trial run and of course the week leading up to wedding I got a blemish and stupidly tanned that week and started peeling on my chest. YOU COULDN"T EVEN TELL. She covered it up and blended it perfectly to my face. She really nailed the look I was hoping for and I would recommend her and her team to anyone.

Lead Stylist Brittney and her team were such a dream to work with. From the moment I booked Something Blue, their professionalism, attention to detail, and knowledge was bar none. They even sent me a little pre-wedding beauty goody box to thank me for booking them! My trial was a breeze, and Brittney was so willing to tweak whatever I wanted done differently. The day-of, Brittney and her two assistant showed up on time and ready to go, and they made my bridesmaids, my mom and stepmother, and me look absolutely amazing. They were accommodating and fun, and helped keep me relaxed, even when we encountered some unexpected chaos with the busy morning schedule. They even stayed after their scheduled time to check and see if I was okay when I got whisked away for some photos. Shayna with SBS was AMAZING. I was referred to her from a good friend of mine, and she seriously did not disappoint. I'm very simple with my makeup and barely wear any on a day-to-day basis, so I was a little worried when it came to my wedding day. Brittney from Something Blue Stylists was a DREAM to work with. From the start, Brittney had a positive and fun attitude and knew exactly the look I was going for.

Brittney and her assistant, Alyson, were punctual the (very early) morning of the wedding. They were laid-back but you can tell they have their system down to T! My girls and I loved having them there that morning.

I'm a firm believer in getting what you pay for and this team definitely lived up to that and then some. Payment and contract signing was a breeze and Brittney was very flexible when I had to change mine around a bit.

Andi was absolutely wonderful! From the very first time I talked to her on the phone, I knew I was going to love working with her and her team (and I was right!). She’s extremely kind, friendly and on top of it, which is what I was looking for, but most importantly, she is incredible at what she does. I loved my wedding day hair and makeup, as did my bridesmaids, and she made sure we kept in contact and had our trial session beforehand in order to make sure the day-of would go smoothly. We were ahead of schedule the day-of (and there were 11 of us!); you can tell Andi has done this many times before and knows what she’s doing. :)

I don't even know where to begin to describe the amazing experience that I had with Something Blue Stylists! Between planning an out-of-state wedding and buying a house, I was stressed to the max. Andi was so flexible and understanding of my chaotic schedule, and that was just the beginning. When I went for my hair and makeup trial, all of my stress instantly went away from the moment she answered the door. Something Blue Stylists was the absolute perfect choice for hair and makeup on our wedding day and we cannot possibly say enough good things about how wonderful they are.

As two brides, we had quite the mission for Something Blue Stylists to accomplish - along with all of our bridesmaids and moms who were getting their hair and makeup done, too! Andi and her team went above and beyond and knocked it out of the park and, what's more, they were a blast to spend the morning of our special day with.

As someone who has worked with other stylists in the past, it is incredibly disappointing when you describe the "look" you're going for, the stylist confirms they will make it happen, and then doesn't deliver. That was not at all the case with Something Blue Stylists! And on top of delivering the exact looks we were each going for, their team was by our side for touch-up the entire day until the moment we walked down the aisle.

Shayna and her team are the absolute BEST. They made sure that me and my 11 BRIDESMAIDS/mother of the bride looked flawless. They showed up at exactly the time they said they would and were there throughout the whole entire process of us getting ready and the wedding. To say Kayla was amazing is an understatement. Right before my preview, my stylist took way too much length off of my hair that I had been growing out for our wedding. Kayla coached me on extensions and continued to put my mind at ease. She was so patient and kind to me and my girls on my big day! She definitely made my busy day a bit smoother.

I absolutely loved working with Something Blue Stylists! From beginning to end, they were professional, sweet, caring, passionate, and so much more. After having some issues finding hair stylists for our big day that would come to our location, SBS were a fresh breath of air! My main stylist was Brittney and she was AH-MAZING!! She was always quick to respond to emails about any questions/concerns I had. She was flexible in regards to setting up my hair trial, and I was even able to add my mom to that trial because she was uncertain how she wanted her hair. We had her do both our hair and makeup and she was just so wonderful. She was always listening and willing to take any requests we made. Personally, I don't wear much make up on a day-to-day basis and I definitely wanted to keep that natural look for my wedding day. She was able to bypass what I could have ever imagined and truly made me feel beautiful. In addition, her talents in make up do not even compare to her talents with hair. She and her assistant, Melissa, were able to transform a picture into exactly what each of my bridesmaids and mothers requested for their day-of hair! They were prompt and were able to get all 10 girls hairs done in about 3.5 hours! In addition, they were as sweet as can be and even helped my soon to be father-in-law with his long hair! They always went above and beyond and I am extremely grateful for that!

Brittney and team were AMAZING!! I'm super picky about my makeup and I didn't want my bridesmaids to look too over done on the big day. They were very professional and listened to what each girl wanted. Everyone looked and felt beautiful for the big day. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for hair & makeup stylists - they knocked it outta the park!

I found Something Blue Stylists because Andi did my friend's makeup for her wedding and my husband mentioned how naturally pretty she looked. Andi impressed me from the first moment I spoke with her on the phone. She has been doing makeup for awhile and you can tell she loves what she does. She showed up early on the wedding day with her team so they could start right on time. They worked really efficiently and got us done ahead of schedule. I had a large bridal party (11) and was nervous about the timeline and she assured me everything would work out. It did! I received compliments all night about my hair and make up. I highly recommend Something Blue Stylists and know you will have a great experience no matter who does your hair or makeup.

Andi was so nice and fun to work with! I absolutely loved my wedding hair & makeup! Andi did my make-up for my engagement photos and I really can't say how great she was! Right from the start Andi was very professional. She was very easy to talk to. If I had any questions, she was easy to contact and was very prompt with her responses. When I had my make-up done, I went right to Andi's house; she was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. I don't usually wear a lot of make-up so she didn't over-due my look. It was very simple but beautiful. Perfect. She made me not only look beautiful, but feel beautiful too! I would recommend Something Blue Stylists to anyone who wants to feel and look a little extra special!

Andi and her team are hands-down the best in the business. I am a wedding vendor and have worked with Andi and her team on many photo shoots and she and her team have always been punctual, efficient and created beautiful work. Andi will gladly listen to any direction you give her but she's also very creative on her own! On our last project together, we gave her free reign and I could not be happier with the outcome. She enhances your natural beauty and creates "pinterest-worthy" hair and makeup looks. Something Blue Stylists are the whole package - you will have a bridal look you love and you'll have fun getting ready with them! I cannot speak highly enough of Andi and her team!

Choosing Andi to come on-location for my hair and makeup artist was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. She was able to complete 3 bridesmaids, 1 maid of honor and my mother in an incredibly quick amount of time with no sacrifice to quality. I’m not a huge make up person so I’m inexperienced and don’t know what I really needed. She stayed true to my natural style and tones and I was so happy with how everything turned out. From the trial run, we were able to make the proper adjustments so that my makeup and hair stayed flawless for the rest of the day even with a windy photoshoot outside, ceremony, reception and a photoshoot in the rain! I’ve never felt more beautiful in my entire life, I could not help but smile every time I saw myself in the mirror. My mother who also do not use makeup and have her hair done looked beautiful. My bridal party looked gorgeous and she even helped touch up before she left. She was super personable and great at making everyone feel comfortable and we had a lot of fun together getting ready. She was super responsive during the planning process, in constant communication, which I’m a very detail-oriented person and love constant communication so it was much appreciated and was able to offer guidance and support as a new bride herself. I highly recommend Andi for her services! If I had enough money, I’d have Andi do my makeup and hair every morning….

Andi and her assistant were absolutely wonderful to me and my bridesmaids for my wedding! She was very easy to work with and book for my event, and then was flexible in helping set up a hair and makeup trial as I was an out-of-state bride.

On my wedding day they arrived on time and with a great playlist for me and the girls to jam out to while getting ready! My makeup was absolutely flawless and lasted throughout the whole night, and she made sure I had a touch-up for my lip color. There were 6 of us and Andi kept us on schedule, and we all looked stunning for the photos and the wedding day.

Thank you Andi! Highly recommend for any bride!!

Brittney Lear with Something Blue Stylists did an absolutely amazing job for my wedding day! She did hair and makeup for two of my bridesmaids and also my makeup the day of. She is extremely professional and willing to work with your schedule. I highly recommend the makeup trial run because a pinterest look can appear very different depending on your face shape and complexion. She was very responsive when it came to questions and concerns regarding my makeup before the wedding. I definitely recommend Brittney when it comes to any formal event you have! I cannot say enough good things about Andi at Something Blue Stylists! I looked long and hard for a make-up team that really made their brides look stunning and I have no regrets with my final selection. It was a little bit of a hassle to drive to LaGrange (from Chicago) for my trial, but I'm so glad I did it! Andi did an incredible job with my hair and make-up, and the rest of her team also made all my bridesmaids look gorgeous! We ended up not being able to use the hair extensions I bought for the day (my fault, not theirs) and you couldn't even tell! Everyone loved my hair, it stayed up perfectly all night and my make-up didn't smudge one bit! To top it all off, on the morning of our wedding, her team was calm and organized which made my morning totally stress free! She even told my girls to clean the room before we left as we were wrapping up - because it was the room by husband and I returned to that night. All my girls were so happy she kept them on task and reminded them to do that, they would have felt awful if we came back to a messy room. She really made sure I looked stunning and I would recommend her to any bride looking for an onsite hair and make-up team!

I can't begin to express how much I would recommend Something Blue Stylists! Andi is the sweetest, most professional person I have ever met, not to mention she does gorgeous hair and makeup. I was so worried that I was not going to look beautiful on my wedding day because I do not have the best hair or skin, but after talking with Andi and doing my preview, she made me look more beautiful than I could have imagined. Throughout the entire process, Andi was so easy to reach by email and she always was there if you needed something. I got married in August at an outside venue, and I have the flattest and oiliest skin, but Andi made me look STUNNING! I have never felt more beautiful and confident than I did that day, not to mention I seated and cried a lot that day and my makeup never smeared or came off. I looked just as beautiful at midnight as I did in the morning that day. Andi and her team also made my girls and mother look and feel beautiful. I would give Something Blue Stylists a thousand starts if I could, but all I have to say is if you want to look and feel flawless on your big day, they are the ones who will make that happen!

Andi is so talented! I loooooved my hair and make up for my wedding and all of my bridesmaids and our moms were super happy too! Andi listened very carefully to what I wanted and she made me feel like a princess! Her make up is top quality too! During my ceremony it was almost 90 degrees and me and all of the girls cried, and let me tell you, that make up did not move! We looked perfect all day long, no touch ups needed! I cannot say enough good things about Andi! I am a VERY detailed and picky person and she was TOP NOTCH. From the makeup and hair preview she did for me, my bridesmaids and my Mom...to everything she did on my wedding day. She was super fast to respond via email whenever I had questions prior to the big day. And then I paid her to stay the day of the wedding after doing my hair and makeup through the end of the reception. It was worth EVERY PENNY! She was on top of everything and is so sweet and accommodating. She even braided one of the little girls hair in a matter of minutes before the wedding. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone who wants to look their best and be pampered during their pre-event preview as well on their special day!

Andi did a great job with the wedding party that I was in. Some girls asked for specific hairstyles and others left it up to Andi. She did a great job with both (no tight '90s prom curls here!). Definitely the best hair and make-up that I've had in a wedding - it was incredibly well done and all very natural! Thanks Andi!

Andi did a great job on my makeup! She also did hair and makeup for 7 of my bridesmaids. She was professional and fast and the quality was awesome. She really knows her craft and everyone looked amazing. Andi was recommended to me by my wedding planner. Even after our first consult, I couldn't imagine going with anybody else. I had an idea of what I wanted for my wedding hair and makeup, but I wasn't completely sure. She took those ideas and worked wonders with them. On the day of my wedding, Andi and her assistant had their routine down to a science. Not only is she one of the friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure of working with, she is also one of the most professional and helpful. She was involved with almost all of the prep leading up to my ceremony and was such a big reason things went as smoothly as they did. I had nothing but a positive and memorable experience having her be a part of my wedding day. I would recommend her to anybody.

Working with Andi was wonderful! It was tricky to find a time to do a trial because I do not live in Indy, but she came late on a Friday night and I was so appreciative she was willing to start a weekend later than most people. It showed how dedicated she was. The make up was great. My husband hates when I put on too much make up. I know she put on quite a bit (more than I usually do) but it looked so natural and it didn't feel heavy. My husband even said at our first look how good my make up looked!
One of my bridesmaids got her hair done by one of her assistants and my bridesmaid didn't love it. Andi was so sweet and said it was no problem and completely fixed it. Andi was awesome and made me laugh. I hope I get to have her do my make up again in the future!

I had previously had a stylist who was supposed to do my wedding hair completely ruin my hair trial and I was in desperate need of someone who was professional and had experience providing beautiful bridal hair styles. I was literally in tears until my wedding planner recommended that I get in touch with Andi. Andi did an AMAZING job with hair and make up on my "Big Day." She did both hair and make up for myself, my mother, bridesmaids and a flower girl. The make up was flawless and looked great throughout the evening. Andi is very flexible and easy to work with. She readily made adjustments to the needed services and brought an assistant to help make the process run smoothly. She communicated with me throughout the process and always responded to my questions quickly. I set up a trial and the makeup was PERFECT. I had some notes about my hair, but she took them all and I was so confident in the experience, I booked her on the spot. In all the months leading up to the wedding, she treated me like family. She was so organized and responsive - I booked her to do hair and makeup for me, both of our moms, and 8 bridesmaids. I had to add one of these girls at the last minute even, and Shayna was on it. But not only was she flexible (and crazy talented), the prices were amazing, AND she is pretty much the sweetest, most genuine, lovely person you'll ever meet. I feel like I've made a lifelong friend. She showed up right on time with a team of hair and makeup professionals. She provided WAY more than I expected, all to make sure that we all looked perfect and were ready on time. Not only did every single girl look STUNNING (one of my bridesmaids told me she liked her hair better for my wedding than when she had hers done for her own!) but we were also ready EARLY! So everyone looked perfect, had time to spare, and we had a blast with Shayna and her team the whole morning. They were simply delightful. And I have never felt more beautiful in my life. My hair and makeup were BEYOND my wildest dreams. And they lasted ALL NIGHT LONG. I danced up a storm and looked just as perfect at midnight as I did in the morning! I cannot rave enough about Shayna and everyone she works with. My day was perfect and I felt like a princess because of them. And Shayna will always have a special place in my heart for every lovely text and message of support along the way. Your day will be better than you dream if you have her there :)

I was SO happy with Something Blue Stylists! My wedding was in Temecula, CA and Shayna did my makeup and unfortunately I cannot remember the name of who did my hair - but they are an amazing team! At the trial they both really listened to what I wanted and were more than happy to make changes and made sure I felt comfortable. They were also great getting all of the girls ready the day of. Shayna and Cindy were simply AMAZING!!! A friend had recommended them and I'm so glad i went with them. Not only are they completely affordable, they do an outstanding job! I met with them for a trial run in advance and it was perfect so they could get an idea of what I liked and didn't like. The day of the wedding they did hair and makeup for me (bride) as well as for 7 of my bridesmaids and the flower girl and they were on point! it all went so smoothly and they were even able to do the makeup for 2 mothers the day of. They're so sweet and dealt with the bridesmaids' requests so graciously and even touched everyone up as needed. Cindy even provided me with hair extensions which I loved!!! Shayna went above and beyond and stuck around until our wedding - she even helped with the pictures before the wedding and made sure all of our makeup looked perfect. I currently live in WA state and we had our wedding on 6/6/15 in Orange County. I worked with Shayna to do our makeup and Cindi did our hair. The pricing is fair and competitive. They were so flexible and willing to schedule a hair and makeup trial on a weekend that I flew into town. Shayna is the sweetest person to work with and went above and beyond to answer any questions I had. They were more than willing to customize the makeup and hair style for each person in my wedding party (some had long hair some had short.) I booked Something Blue Stylists and was set-up with Shayna more than 1 year before my wedding. We kept in touch pretty often through email, text and the occasional phone call. When time came for the trial it went flawlessly and she achieved my look based on the pictures I sent through email. Shayna was always quick to answer any questions I had.
On wedding day Shayna was THE BEST!! At the last minute my grandma decided she wanted to get her hair done and we were able to squeeze her in. She also busted her butt all day helping me out. She did more for me than anyone else did that whole day. She helped situate me during pictures, she helped calm my nerves, she helped me change my shoes. It was all of the little things that she did for me that made the day so much smoother. I am so grateful that she was there and for everything she did for me that day. We recently got married at the Disneyland Hotel and I was very hesitant to book a vendor that wasn't on their "preferred vendor" list, however I wasn't happy with my correspondence between their vendor and I so I decided to explore other options. I'm SO HAPPY that I went with my gut and decided to book Something Blue. I spoke with Shayna quite a bit before our wedding and she was always very helpful and quick to respond. Cindy did a great job on our hair, she did something different for each of my bridesmaids and they looked great. She also went above and beyond and got hair extensions for my mom on very short notice and they looked fantastic!. Shayna did a phenomenal job on our makeup, I got endless compliments on it throughout the day. I wish that Shayna could do my makeup every day I can't express enough how much I loved it. After hours in the heat and dancing my hair and makeup was still perfect for photos. I highly recommend Something Blue, it's so nice that they come to you and they are very efficient and they really helped make our day enjoyable and stress free.

I would definitely recommend Something Blue Stylists for weddings and other occasions. I had my hair and makeup done for my wedding, along with my Mother's, and hair for my five bridesmaids. We all looked fabulous and loved the great work they did! I had so many complements and even though I had gotten sick the day of my wedding, my makeup looked flawless and no one was able to tell.

Also, it was so convenient that they came to the hotel room and they were on time and finished early. They were wonderful! I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

I am SO happy I had Something Blue Stylists (Shayna and Cyndi) doing hair and makeup for my wedding, and here's why:

1. Shayna made the whole process incredibly easy. She was so communicative and willing to answer all of my questions (even the silly ones).
2. Shayna was so responsive (I know #1 kinda covers this, but it's worth mentioning again).
3. They can handle big groups no problem. I had 6 bridesmaids and my mom having full hair and makeup done, and they did my makeup. Not only did everyone start on time, but we were finished with time to spare.
4. Shayna and Cyndi really know what they're doing. They're able to work with what you want and also make recommendations based on what they think would be best. They're absolute professionals, so I really appreciated all of their ideas and advice.
5. They're so affordable. They really could charge more for what they do.
6. My makeup lasted until ALL DAY. Shayna finished me up at 12:30pm, and my makeup didn't budge until I washed it off at 2:00am.
7. Shayna and Cyndi really care about making you happy. They were genuinely excited to be helping me out for my wedding. Their excitement had everyone pumped up, and it was such a great way to kick off my wedding day.

Let me start with the most important part: hiring Shayna was probably the best decision I made during my wedding planning process.
Looking for someone to do your hair and makeup for your wedding day can be daunting. It is the most important day of your life, you know you will have these pictures forever, and part of being a bride is feeling beautiful. I found Shayna through a friend who recently got married – since she looked gorgeous on her wedding day, I felt I could trust Shayna for mine. Little did I know what an incredible asset Shayna would be.
I came into my preview without any ideas for hair and makeup beyond thinking that I wanted my hair up. Unphased, Shayna & Cindi asked to see a picture of my dress and immediately suggested several options that would show off the dress and match the classic feel of my wedding. I am extremely glad that I left the look in their hands because they came up with a hairstyle that was better than what I would have found myself. On the day of the wedding, Shayna and Cindi were absolutely wonderful. They talked my bridesmaids through hair options, made sure they were comfortable, and felt like part of our group of friends. Everything was perfect!
Shayna stayed with us throughout the wedding day. I can’t stress this enough: best decision ever. We had a big gap between our ceremony and the reception, during which we went to a third location to take pictures. She was an absolute life saver – fixing our hair when the wind came up, helping the photographer, and even saving my Maid of Honor’s shoe from a patch of mud. Even once we got to the reception, she was there to help get us settled and bustle my gown (which I don’t think we could’ve done without her)! We truly enjoyed having her with us throughout the day.
I’m sure that other hair and makeup teams in the area do great work but Shayna’s team does more than just what you hire them to do. They make you feel beautiful, special, and cared for – what else could you ask for?

I cannot say enough about Shayna, we had such a great rapport the months leading up that it only felt right to invite her to my wedding. She touched everyone up including my groom and guests all night she was amazing!
Coming from out of State Shayna made sure I had zero stress and last minute she and cyndi showed up early the morning of my wedding to my hotel suite to cut my clip inn extensions for me and immediately went to work! They were a huge part of my big day, everyone was comfortable enough that if they wanted to tweak something they were totally receptive and made my ladies happy!! I had 7 bridesmaids with all big personalities and they all looked amazing in the short amount of time it took, I was truly amazed at how quick and efficient this team worked they even had time for my Mom last minute!
For me I knew what I wanted with my makeup smokey eye and natural face, I received so many compliments and it's all Shanya I felt so beautiful on my wedding as any woman should! My hair is another story I was absolutely clueless on how I wanted my hair and within 30 minutes Cyndi had my hair looking better than I could have ever imagined!!!

Something Blue Stylists (Shayna and Cyndi) have been a pleasure to work with every step of the way. They were also competitively priced for the services they provided (which is important since all wedding stuff costs a ton of money). Shayna did my make up for the engagement photo shoot and while I like it when I looked in the mirror and so did my fiancé, after I looked at the photos, I realized I wanted something different for my actual wedding day and she was very understanding and helpful! I talked to Shayna about what I wanted and made sure that we are on the same page and I had a second preview, until I was sure that I love it. Both Shayna and Cyndi were extremely personable and upbeat (just what you want to have as you are getting ready for the most exciting day of your life). These girls are super fast and good at what they do. I had 4 bridesmaids, 2 moms and 2 sisters-in-law and every single person loved what they looked like after Shayna and Cyndi were done with them. It was so evident how much both of these ladies love what they do and how much they truly want to make their brides happy on their special day. Every vendor that you hire for your wedding day is really important and if someone is off, there is a potential for other things to go wrong. It starts with having amazing hair and make-up so that you, as the bride, can feel incredible and beautiful on your wedding day. Where do I even begin? Shayna and Cyndi are an extremely talented team. I was referred to Shayna through a previous client of hers and from the moment I contacted her I felt comfortable and as if I had known been her friend forever. Both Shayna and Cyndi are personable, sweet and prepared. These ladies take care of their brides like they are family and I never had to worry about my styling for my big day. My first session with Shayna and Cyndi was for my engagement photos. I was blown away at how quickly they worked and how they brought my vision to life. I also had a preview which I set up for the day of my bridal shower which was Shayna's idea and I recommend this to every bride because you don't want good hair and makeup to go to waste! Throughout my engagement, Shayna checked in with me often and was my personal bridal therapist. Any stressful moments I had, she was always there to encourage me and remind me of what was truly important. The day of my wedding, Shayna and Cyndi arrived early and set everything up before I had even arrived. I had 8 bridesmaids and my mother in law getting hair and makeup done and we planned on doing our first look and a majority of the photos done before the ceremony. This only gave Shayna and Cyndi 4 and a half hours to complete everyone's look, and they did it with time to spare! The getting ready process on my wedding day was so relaxed because they are professionals who take charge and get things done so that the bride and mother of the bride can put their attention where it is required. I had heard about Something Blue Stylists when they did hair/makeup services for my bestie's wedding in September 2013. I LOVED their personalities and I loved they way they made me look and really listened and turned what I was picturing in my head into a reality.

I immediately booked them for my wedding in April after having my makeup successfully stay on and my hair looking fantastic all night at my bestie's. Shayna was so great to work with! She is super responsive, personable and quite hilarious.

Day of, call time 4:30am. Yup. Shayna and Cindy were there all smiles and so awake and ready to go! They were super accommodating with one of my BMs who wanted to use her own makeup (allergies) and with my mom who has dementia. They let her come closer to the end and attended to her at the same time (great!).

I loved the way I looked on my wedding day. I don't wear a lot of makeup and didn't want to look totally different. Shayna did something amazing with my eyes that I will never be able to duplicate and I got compliments all day! Everything from the amount of blush, to the lip color was exactly how I pictured how I wanted to look. Very soft and romantic. AND I love that lashes are included! Most places charge extra for lashes which is super lame.

Cindy did great with hair, she styled everyone's hair exactly how they wanted, I think we all had different curl types and she handled all requests with ease.

Not only will they do an amazing job but they aren't boring and stuffy which is important if you are going to be spending a few hours with them. Fun, very talented ladies!

I just recently got married in December 2013. I was referred to Shayna from Something Blue Stylists to do my makeup for my wedding. Shayna was absolutely amazing! She was very professional from start to finish. To begin with, she is a gifted make up artist and so darn sweet! I received so many compliments on my makeup! Shayna scheduled a trial make up session to ensure that she had the right colors and products to match my skin tone. I have a lot of freckles on my face and I didn't want them to be concealed. My experience with previous vendors was that they had a hard time finding the right coverage for freckles. I was concerned that Shayna would have the same issue, but she proved me wrong! My make up was flawless and my freckles look stunning! Andi with Something Blue Stylists provided the makeup for myself (the bride), my mother, the groom's mother, as well as my seven bridesmaids on my wedding day. I could not have been more pleased with her work. My makeup was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I received countless compliments on it from guests. I used Andrea for my hair and makeup on my wedding day. She was absolutely great to work with and a talented hair stylist and makeup artist. She listened intently to what I wanted and respected my wishes.

My wedding was a destination wedding, so she was accommodating when I requested my preview only two days before the wedding. Additionally, when my flight was delayed a full day due to weather, she was flexible and altered her schedule to ensure I got a preview the day before my wedding! She was on time, professional, and personable.

On my wedding day she did mine and my three bridesmaids hair and makeup. The original plan was to only have three of us get our hair done and four get makeup, but when everyone saw what a fantastic job she had done, my mom, my mother-in-law and my (now) husband's aunt all asked for hair and makeup too. She had left plenty of time, and was able to easily fit in these additions. Everyone was very happy with her work and I feel comfortable speaking for them all in saying they would highly recommend her.

Andrea was a delight to work with and I would ask for her help again in an instant. She took the worry out of my day (with respect to hair and makeup) and helped me relax and enjoy it.

I put down a deposit for Andrea before I ever met her based on her website, which I thought was very informative, and also because of her other reviews. I am in the military and also appreciated her military discount. I live 8 hrs away and showed up for my hair and makeup preview very stressed from the drive, but Andrea gave me a margarita and all was well! Since I have oily skin she used air brush makeup, which I had never had before and awesome false eyelashes (I would recommend to any bride!). I brought a few pictures and based on my dress and what I liked she came up with a very nice hair do. She is very personable and excellent at getting back to you. On my wedding day, Andrea and her assistant came to the hotel where my bridesmaids and I were staying and worked very efficiently to get us done. My makeup was applied around 12:30pm and by 10pm one of my guests asked me how I still looked so beautiful because everyone else looked sweaty. I did not even feel the makeup on my face and using an oil based cleanser it came right off at the end of the night. I would highly recommend Andrea for your wedding day!

I loved Shayna and Cindy! Both of these ladies are so talented, so nice and so flexible. My friend used their services for her wedding, and they did our hair and makeup so well that I decided to go with them as well. They do hair and makeup as natural or as dramatic as you want. I decided to go with a more dramatic look and have my hair up for this wedding and it was really a transformation. I felt amazing!

My mom and I have very busy schedules and these ladies accommodated us beautifully. We were able to set up a preview appointment that worked for all of us and our looks turned out great. Shayna and Cindy are so friendly and professional. Definitely choose them for your wedding.

They drove four hours and arrived early at the ranch start set up. They did 9 ladies including myself (the bride), 2 mothers, and 6 bridesmaids. Everyone looked fantastic and I was really happy with the end result. They are super sweet and clearly have tons of experience dealing with stressed out brides. I ended up asking everyone to leave the room while I did hair and makeup and had a mini melt down (it gets really overwhelming), Shayna and Andrea were very understanding and helped calm me down. They even had eye drops to take care of post crying red eyes. I would highly recommend them to any other bride.

Andrea did a beautiful job with my hair and make up for my wedding this summer. She curled my hair and swept it into a beautiful design. My make up was just right and I especially loved the lashes she put on. So natural and stunning.
Andrea was also perfect in terms of calm professionalism. She did the job without any fuss and was exactly what I needed. I highly recommend.

Planning a destination certainly has it's stresses, especially for hair and makeup! Only being able to reply on reviews and photos, and of course not being able to have a test run! After spending many hours upon hours searching the web for a makeup artist and hair stylist for my wedding I came across Something Blue Stylists. I was immediately impressed, not only with the portfolio, but the reasonable prices. So I jumped on it and emailed them to find out if they were available and to answer any questions I had. Andrea was very prompt on the response, and extremely friendly even via email. She was very flexible as to the times we wanted to get ready, location, etc...
As the day got closer I was a tad bit nervous as I said earlier, not being able to have a hair preview (I the bride was getting my hair done, and my MOH/Bridesmaids were getting hair and makeup done) but the moment Andrea walked into our bridal room at the venue I felt comforted. She is so incredibly pleasant to work with, easy to get along with, friendly, and very professional. She did an exceptional job on all my girls hair and makeup, and an amazing job at my hair! (And even convinced me my homemade birdcage veil that I was uncertain about was a great decision, and I am glad she did! I would have regretted it if I didn't end up wearing it!! Thank you for showing me it would look fabulous!) I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire Andrea, and I would recommend her to any of my closest friends and family!! THANK YOU ANDREA!!! :)
