Brought our wedding cake vision to life!
We had the absolute BEST experience with Some Crust Bakery for our wedding cake and desserts. Everyone we worked with was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they truly LISTENED to what we wanted. They sent us several mock-ups with colors and design styles throughout the process so we could see and approve of every little detail.
We did two rounds of tastings (one at the shop and another at home) and coordinating the second round to finalize our flavors was super easy. Also, they coordinated directly with our florist to incorporate live flowers that perfectly matched the butter cream florals on the cake and the flowers on my dress. Another bakery (Cucamonga Cakery... yikes) told us this would be impossible and tried to make us feel dumb for wanting it. Some Crust made it happen EASILY. They brought our vision to life and the cake was seriously stunning! And the taste is so light and fresh!
Special shoutout to Gabrielle for her quick responses, positive attitude, and overall amazing service throughout the entire process. She took care of us every step of the way. Thank you!!

My fiancée and I did many cake tasting and Some Crust was hands down the best!! We could have gone with almost any flavor we tried there but the Elvis cake was beyond compare. Everyone at the wedding commented on it. The decoration and the delivery of the cake were great and easy to coordinate too.

We loved our cake and everyone raved about the flavors. Pink champagne, lemon, spice, red velvet - frosting was great and not too sweet. We were concerned about the ribbon color and they left us samples at our venue to view. Price was included in our venue. Would recommend!

Super Efficient and Easy
Some Crust made it so easy for us to choose them. Their attitude was warm and welcoming and they explained everything to us that we should expect from them. We never ran into any problems and they were able to create the most beautiful cake for us, using the fresh flowers we provided for them. The flavors of the cakes were very delicious and they delivered to our venue which was a plus! 1000% recommend.

This is a review on their wedding cakes.
This bakery came as a package deal with the venue I booked. The bakery was very responsive and the staff were nice. Once I had selected the flavors and cake design it was all set to go which was very nice.
The flavors were REALLY good and the cake was soft and moist. I wish I had had enough time in the evening to get more than once slice!
They were also very accommodating with the cake design. As I wanted something fun and my husband is not fun of fondant haha. So we had them do elvish script along the bottom tiers of the cake.

Wonderful Wedding Day with Some Crust Bakery
We were connected to Some Crust bakery through our contract with the Lindley Scott House in Azusa, and while we were a little worried that we didn’t have a choice in Bakeries- we were blown away by the professionalism and skill presented by the people at Some Crust. The cake tasting was a delightful experience, and they offer so many unique and delightful cake and frosting/ filling choices it was hard to pick just one…… good thing we didn’t have to! Some Crust Bakery made us a three tiered cake with three different kinds of cake, and each one was absolutely amazing. They also executed our design perfectly, and created the most flawless color gradient frosting I’ve ever seen! We’re pleased as punch, and dreaming about our first anniversary cake!

Some Crust was amazing to work with for our wedding! We rescheduled due to COVID, but they even helped supply us with a small cake for our minimony!
The tasting process was easy and fun! We did a small cake to cute and provided cupcakes for our guests in 4 different flavors. Everyone loved them so much that we only had a few left over at the end of the night!

Lovely wedding cake
Oh my, so sweet! I absolutely loved the decision to go with some crust bakery for my wedding. I was really overwhelmed with all the details of the wedding, but I am very happy with the wedding cake! Everything was perfect, I loved how attentive and caring they were in regards to all the details and ensuring that everything was accurate for the big day. I loved the flavors I chose, lemon cake with lemon cream, white cake with raspberry butter cream, pink champagne cake with strawberry mousse. I got a lot of compliments regarding the cake which was a nice surprise! Nicole helped us out with the cake testing and she was very nice and patient. I appreciate Nicole and some crust bakery! I definitely love their service. Very sweet!

With such a busy lightning speed day I made sure to get a piece of cake because it is that good. We had a 3 tier cake and we got to choose 3 different flavors and all of them were amazing. My personal favorite is the black and white cake because I love raspberry. The cake was gorgeous

Amazing wedding cake!
This bakery knows how to make a wedding cake! From the beginning to cake tasting and then seeing it at our wedding and trying it then, truly did not disappoint! We really did not know what we wanted until we got there and tried their combinations. We went with white and chocolate cake with a raspberry filling and chocolate ganache. So good! The presentation of the cake was exactly what we asked for and so happy with it. My sister surprised us with a groom’s cake that was really good as well and they worked with her over the phone making sure everything was going to be perfect! Best cake around
The european buttercream from Some Crust is the best. They made me a 6-tier cake with a dessert table and it was FLAWLESS. Every layer had a different flavor and was DELICIOUS, my guests were raving about how delicious the cake was, and nearly all of the goodies were gone. Pink champagne with buttercream and chocolate chip cookies were the highlight.

Amazing cakes that taste delicious
Our number one rule for our wedding cake was that it had to taste good. Second was no fondant. We got a beautiful 4 tiered cake (Black & White, red velvet, strawberry and pound) with European butter cream. The process is easy! Call and schedule a tasting and you can tell them which flavors you want to try or just ask for them to bring a variety. Bring photos of cakes you like If you already have some in mind. If you don’t that’s OK as well because they have a book of cakes you can look through as well. The cake was delivered on time with no issues. Looked beautiful and tasted even better.

Great people to work with
We had a great time working with SomeCrust Bakery. Before planning this wedding, I have already loved their cupcakes. When I found out that they were one of the vendors for Wedgewood, I knew they were the ones to go with for our dessert. We didn't want a cake, instead, we wanted tarts. So to accommodate with that, they allowed us to have tarts, some gluten-free cupcakes, and a 4" cake for us to cut. Everything tasted great and I loved working with them!

My family has been ordering sweets from Some Crust since I was a kid, so naturally they were on the list when it came time to review potential cake vendors.
Many of their flavors were delicious, but we ended up ordering their Pink Champagne with raspberry buttercream frosting (and a bit of lemon cake for one layer, just to change it up). The cake was delicious, moist, and uniquely flavored.
Some Crust was also awesome because they provided great advice in addition to a tasty cake. They suggested we save money by providing most of our cake via a sheet cake rather than as part of our round, decorative cake. This saved us a bit on the cost of the cake as our guests couldn't tell the difference when it came time to serve.
Some Crust has been a favorite with my family for years. They will continue to be one with my new family in the years to come.

Our cake was amazingly delicious! We had a three tier and a sheet cake for around 80 guests. The pink champagne cake and the black and white cake were the favorites. I love stopping by Some crust for a pastry or a cupcake any time I'm in Claremont, so there was no question of going to them for our wedding cake.

All of the flavors of the cake were delicious at the tasting. I’m sure they were great at the reception too but we were having too much in we didn’t even get to eat it except for when we cut it! They made the design simple and what we wanted.

I have had various cakes and pastries from Some Crust Bakery, so I was extremely excited when I found out that they were the bakery that would be making our wedding cake. Their selection of frostings and fillings was nothing short of delicious. Nicole and Hillary were great to work with from our initial consultation and throughout the entire process. They were polite, professional, and very responsive to all our questions. Although Some Crust rescheduled our initial consultation due to an emergency with one of their wedding consultants, they asked if we wanted pick up the cake samples that we had selected since they were already done. We picked up the cake samples and they provided notes which explained the different frosting, bread, and filling types. We ate them on the spot and knew what we wanted for our cake. During our rescheduled consultation, they had the additional samples we had requested based on our prior tasting and explained what was included in regards to number of tiers, design, and flavors. We were extremely pleased with the cake. It was not only beautiful, but delicious. We received so many compliments from all our guests. My husband and I highly recommend Some Crust Bakery for all your cake and pastry needs. Their staff is very professional and helpful, and their cakes are mouthwatering. We’re looking forward to our anniversary cake from them.

Some Crust did a great job creating the perfect wedding cake. From our first consultation, we had no pictures of what we were looking for, I just described exactly what vision i had for our cake and they created just that. All guests loved how beautiful the cake was and of course how good it tasted. Another thing that we love is that they offer a free FRESH one year anniversary cake, since we have been warned how great a frozen year old cake tastes like.

We chose Some Crust Bakery out of the contracted list that our venue provided. The cake turned out beautiful and delicious. If you are considering Some Crust, try to schedule for a taste testing early because they get booked out pretty far in advance. Somecrust Bakery did my wedding cake and it was absolutely beautiful! Not only was it pretty but everyone raved on how good it tasted. Their package included a 1yr anniversary cake. So instead of freezing cake, on our 1st year anniversary, they will bake a small cake for us. That is awesome!!

I'm so glad our venue referred us to Some Crust Bakery. We set appointment for the caking tasting and I couldn't believe how good everything was which made it hard to choose a favor when everything was so delicious. We had a 4 tier wedding cake and ended up choosing the Red velvet cake with cream cheese filling for 2 tiers and Strawberry cake with vanilla filling for the other 2 tiers. It was very delicious and the cake design was beautiful. Exactly what I had ask for. Nicole was very professional and easy to communicate with. The wedding cake price was included in our package with our venue, so I'm not exactly sure how much it would've cost by itself. Our experience with Some Crust was a home run. Nicole was professional, polite, responsive and a delight to work with. Though the cake we had during our tasting ranked 2nd, we moved forward with our decision to use Some Crust because of their professionalism. We were pleasantly surprised that the cake on the day of the wedding was better than on the day of our tasting. There were no extra charges for our requests where the other bakeries wanted to charge us more. The cake was beautiful and delicious. No regrets here!

Some Crust Bakery far exceeded my expectations. They re-created a cake that was just to die for and looked better than what I had imagined. They were very timely with their responses and when I walked over to my cake to cut it, I was just in awe at the outcome I received. I am so overjoyed at the end result, they totally delivered everything they promised and more! I would definitely drive out to Claremont from Riverside just to use them again!

We went to Some Crust for our cake tasting, and they were absolutely wonderful, they were the bakery provided by our venue, but I truly could not be happier. The cake was amazing in taste, and the design was more then I could ever ask for. I took in a picture of what I was hoping to get, and they went above and beyond to get it as close to the picture as possible. Our DJ even commented on how this was the best looking cake he has ever seen. They even give you cake on your one year anniversary so you don't have to freeze your top tier. I will be ordering more cakes from them.

We used SomeCrust Bakery for our wedding cake (and groom’s cake). This bakery is great!! We continue to have guests comment to us about how delicious our wedding cake was. We had four layers, each one was a different combination of cake and frosting. My only regret is that we were not able to taste two of the layers (too busy dancing). We also custom designed the look of the cake. Each layer had a different design/texture. We were worried that the cake would not come out how we envisioned it, but it was absolutely stunning!
My groom’s cake was the best. I am a diehard Green Bay Packers fan, and I wanted my cake to reflect this. It came out great! The cake looked like a football field, with PACKERS spelled in the endzone, and an oversized football with the Packers logo on it in the center of the cake. With how great the cake looked, I would not have cared if it tasted like garbage, but it was delicious too! SomeCrust is FANTASTIC!

Please use Some Crust Bakery for your cake needs! Some Crust Bakery was a recommended vendor for our wedding venue. Their cake options are delicious! Their services were easy and accommodating as they presented us with a beautiful wedding cake. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Many of our guests asked where we ordered our cake from. We had a four tier cake with 4 different flavors. As an added bonus, when my husband and I complete our one year anniversary, Some Crust Bakery makes a freshly new cake of our choice for free! You will not be disappointed!

Some crust is delicious!! Our wedding cake was gone in minutes! They were so friendly and helpful. I met with Nicole and we went over all of the details of the cake. The tasting was free and I loved that they had a separate office just for wedding cake consultations. The bakery itself is so cute. It has that old, small town feel. And everything they make is delicious. My favorite thing though, is that they offer you a free top tier one year anniversary cake, so you don't have to keep the original top tier in the freezer. I think it's really nice of them to offer that. They were also very professional every time I spoke to someone. They even called me a week before to make sure my order was correct. The decorator got almost every detail right, so I was happy. They delivered the cake on time with no problems. I would definitely recommend this bakery to anyone!

Loved my wedding cake. I had my wedding at a venue that gave us only a few options of vendors we could choose from to pick our cake. One vendor never answered, another accused some crust of charging for a taste test which was such a big fat lie. I'm so glad we chose some crust to make our wedding cake. It was extremely delicious. We also did not have to save cake for our 1 year anniversary on the day of the wedding but instead can call and get a new cake (1 tier). Loved the cake!

Let me start off by saying that I definitely recommend Some Crust for your wedding cake and any other services! The venue provided the wedding cake and gave us a choice between Some Crust and some other bakery to chose the cake. Husband and I scheduled a cake tasting here first, and we were sold,I provided a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like. On the actual wedding day, the cake turned out absolutely gorgeous!! (No fondant was used). The cake was also delicious, all our guest commented on how moist and amazing it tasted! I can't wait to order our 1 year anniversary cake from some crust. The only problem I have is that it's going to be a difficult choice on what flavor to choose from!

The cake from this bakery was included in our wedding package at the Lindley Scott House. But even if it wasn't, I would still have chosen this bakery to make our wedding cake. It was absolutely delicious. At our tasting, they offered so many different yummy flavors (rum cake with cinnamon espresso filling was the best!) and each layer of our cake was a different flavor free of charge. They also had lots of designs to chose from. It turned out beautiful!

We had a cake tasting which was awesome! The service was great and they made my cake exactly how I asked for it including the colors and designs. I had a few different cake tastings and nothing topped Some Crust. I used to bake cupcakes for a living so I'm a little picky with cakes and frosting so I didn't think I would find a cake a good as my own, however Some Crust proved me wrong. The cake was so moist and the frosting was like silk! I will use this bakery for all my future cake needs. I highly recommend them - you will not be disappointed!

I selected Some Crust Bakery from the others for my June 29th wedding because of their professional craft. They are so professional, talented and really help in guiding customers on what is best for their needs. As a bride I was presented with options so select my cake from. Ontario Bakery was so ghetto and unprofessional, giving us slabs of sloppily frosted dry boxed cake.
I made an appointment and opted to just try their "popular flavors" to sample the cake types. All of them were delish. In fact. our 4 tier cake had 4 flavors lol! My second appointment consisted of me choosing the design and adding specific details like the colors and butter-creme "ribbon" design around each tier. Jill was so helpful and patient with my two little boys when we arrived.
I want to thank all of those at Some Crust Bakery who made my 6/29 wedding cake so beautifully! Walking in and seeing my cake exactly the way we envisioned it was wonderful. I highly recommend anyone who is thinking of ordering a cake to go through Some Crust Bakery!

This bakery created the MOST BEAUTIFUL SeaShell Cupcakes for our shower. The chocolate shell on top of each cupcake was absolutely the best chocolate ever! Each cupcake was detailed in design and they looked amazing with our beachy shower theme. The added "sand" sprinkles that were added under each chocolate shell was the perfect touch. Excellent quality on the cake in the cupcakes, fresh, moist and delicious. They even made one "gluten free" cupcake for a special guest. Can't thank this bakery enough for a job very well done.

Amazing CAKE. Taste fabulous. I had some many of my guest tell me that normally wedding cake and birthday cakes are not the best. AND they said this was BY FAR the best they have ever had at a wedding. The design was stunning. Even though I kept it simple but elegant, I changed it slightly through email and it was EXACTLY how I would of pictured it, even though I was worried since I did all my changes via email. I was so happy I chose them. You can't go wrong with some crust.

Some Crust bakery has the most delicious cake! A lot of times, I've noticed that at many of the other weddings I've been to in my life, the wedding cake is dry. But our cake was so moist! We got so many compliments on our flavors, especially the Pink Champagne with Strawberry filling. They were easy to work with and made sure to confirm our requests one last time, prior to the wedding. The cake was exactly as we discussed. I was so happy I chose to go with this bakery for my wedding cake! They designed a cake to fit exactly what I had in mind and it was so delicious, my guests are still raving about how good the cake was!

The chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling was delicious!! I had got lemon cake with lemon custard as the top tier because I fell in love with it at our tasting, but unfortunately I did not get to taste any at the wedding... The bakery was very accomodating, and even though I changed the design I wanted twice via a phone call, the cake still turned out EXACTLY as I wanted. It was beautiful! And DELICIOUS!! They delivered right on-time (I believe they were about 15 minutes early). Great vendor, great experience!!

I cannot say enough about Some Crust. My cake was the yummiest cake ever! It was beautiful it was priced right and it was delicious!
My husband is celiac so they even made the top tier gluten free for us :)

I'm not a huge fan of pastries, so I was always on the fence about Some Crust. However, everyone else always loved it, so I got my wedding cake from here. Holy crap. Just amazing! I've never had cake like that before, and it was so delicious! Highly recommended! I worked with Jill and she was very organized.

When we went for our tasting we loved everything so much that we couldn't choose a single flavor for our cake so we had a different flavor for each tier! The cake design we wanted was executed perfectly and everyone at the reception thought the cake was amazing. Thanks so much!

We were able to choose a cake from Some Crust Bakery, because it was part of our package with the Coco Palm Restaurant. They were truly the best choice for a wedding cake!! When we did our cake tasting, they asked us what are the toppings we liked the most, and they created the cake tasting around what we liked. We tried about 7-8 cakes and we liked most of them, however, we only had a 4 tier cake. They allowed us to do a different flavor on each layer. They allow you to do whatever design you want and they work with you. I bought my own dry orchids, cake topper, and ribbon, and showed them a picture of what concept I wanted, and they truly did a beautiful job. The cake was delicious too!! Even after 2 weeks, it was still so moist and delicious. Also they make you a special top layer for your 1 year anniversary, so you dont have to freeze yours from your wedding day.

Some crust was great! I got a different flavor for every tier, the staff was super helpful with ideas, and once I decided on the design, the cake was exactly as I had pictured! All of the guests said the cake was delicious!

I could not have asked for a better bakery. Our cake was included in our reception package and I am so glad Some Crust was one of the bakeries to choose from. Their cakes are so good and fresh. They are moist and have the best choices of flavors. I was speechless when I saw my wedding cake. They did an awesome job and it was the most pretty cake in the world. Our theme was garden/butterflies and our colors were blue. The decorator did a good job and I can't stop looking at photos of my cake! Thank you everyone involved in making our cake!

I'm Asian so I prefer my cake to be only lightly sweetened, especially only 80% of my guests are Asian so it's crucial that I have a perfectly sweetened cake. Some Crust Bakery delivered just that! I love it!!

Our venue included the cake but we had three bakeries to choose from and we heard that Some Crust was the best of the three! We had our tasting and we were in love!
The design came out exactly like we requested and all of our guests loved the flavors! We got lots of compliments on the cake & I can't wait for our anniversary cake!!
