Solo Mio Photography has been capturing our family’s biggest milestones for a few years now, so it was a no brainer to have them photograph our wedding day as well. Rob brings an infectious energy and charisma to every room he enters putting everyone at ease. Photos and poses are never awkward. Family and friends are constantly laughing or dancing to the speaker he wears with his equipment. Rob will do his utmost to make sure your special moments are snapped in a way that feels authentic to you and your vision with every detail accounted for. Rob had done our engagement photos, so including him in our wedding just felt right, and he most definitely did not disappoint. The photos are beyond what we could’ve hoped for and will be an invaluable keepsake that we’ll treasure forever. Whatever major life event comes next, I can guarantee, Solo Mio Photography will be there too! -

Simply the best
Rob was more enjoyable than many guests at our wedding. We would have invited him if he wasn't already our photographer. He was incredibly easy to work with, transparent, 200% available -- and he has THE BEST ENERGY. He made a huge difference. And his talent? No words to describe, he was born to do this. Don't think once let alone twice, just hire him! -

I would give 6 stars if I could. Our wedding photos turned out STUNNING. Way better than I even imagined. The day after the wedding, I thought I didn’t get as many photos as I thought. But I was SO wrong. Rob and his second photographer captured every single moment & detail in the most authentic way, they just made us forget a photographer was there! Their style is to capture the moments in a candid way and they absolutely delivered. Rob also has the most incredible eye. Our guests even said they have never seen more beautiful wedding photos in their life.
Not to mention, Rob has the BEST energy and is an all-around great person. My husband and I are the worst as posing and looking natural in photos, but he guided us on exactly what to do and where to look and there’s not a single photo I don’t love. They also were so kind and patient throughout the entire wedding day. I cannot recommend SoloMio enough!! -

Unbelievable
I know a lot of people say this but LOOK NO FURTHER YOU FOUND YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER!!! From the day I met Rob to our wedding day - my worries about wedding photos were completely at ease. The reviews and portfolio speak volumes - he is unmatched compared to any other photographer (and we looked at a ton). What I love about Rob is his energy, his vibe, his professionalism, his humor, his passion about what he does and his ability to take care of everything. Wedding photos are the only thing you have of the day forever - and Rob's work is absolutely stunning. Everyone at the wedding commended Rob and Millie for their work. Look absolutely no further. I promise you will not regret it!! -

The most beautiful memories!
We cannot get enough of our wedding photos! Rob and Jess did such an amazing job in every aspect. My husband hates taking photos and I’m not one to take many either, so we were a little nervous about how we would turn out in them. However, Rob’s energy was incredible, he made us feel so comfortable, had us genuinely laughing all day and Jess’s creativity was top notch. We had a feeling our photos would turn out really nice after working with them, but when we received them we were in literal tears and absolute awe of how beautifully they captured the day and not only my husband and I, but also our friends and family in their essence. The way you could sense everyone’s emotion and personalities through the photos was just absolutely incredible, we cannot recommend them enough! -

I can't imagine a better wedding photographer!
Cannot say enough great things about Rob! So professional, so talented and so kind, you can tell he genuinely loves what he does and loves capturing people’s special days. Trust me, you WANT to spend your wedding day with Rob. He kept me calm, while also pumping me up on my wedding morning. He gets so excited to hear your ideas, and executes everything so quickly, and most importantly, without making you do cheesy cliche poses. Leading up to my wedding day, Rob was always available for a quick call which you can schedule any time with a convenient link he has in his email signature. He created my whole wedding day timeline, which was super helpful since I did not have a wedding planner and was a little stressed about it. We went off the timeline on the day of my wedding, but Rob kept his cool and went with the flow. I forgot to mention, my wedding fell on his birthday! I also love all of the ordering options on the customer portal and have ordered a few special keepsakes, my favorite being the bound book that you can completely customize in any layout and with any and all photos you like using a super easy tool. All around 15/10!! -

OK for real, I can’t stop bragging about Solo Mio and their team. Rob and his team were absolutely excellent! After perusing Solo Mio's website, my fiancé and I agreed that we loved his photography style and felt it was a great match for our wedding vibe. Once we spoke to him about his services we immediately clicked and knew he was our photographer! From beginning to end he was very responsive to questions and he def helped put me at ease about what to expect on the big day. By the time the wedding came around we were stoked to work with him and had a great time throughout the day getting our pictures taken. His team arrived right on time and they moved along the timeline smoothly. We had so much fun laughing and hamming it up with Rob and he def captured the great time we had. When we got our pictures back they were as awesome as we hoped they would be and could not be happier with our gallery. The gallery was super easy to navigate and downloading and sharing our pictures with family and friends was very convenient. Overall, Rob and team made the photography aspect of our day fun and low stress and really added to the overall awesome atmosphere of our wedding day. I am so thankful I found Solo Mio on the Nextdoor App (randomly). It was an incredible wedding experience for us. From beginning to end, Rob, the owner was accessible, attentive and offered personal suggestions based on our vision and personalities. We got married at Crandon Golf Key Biscayne in March 2022 with 150 people with a "Tropical Elegance and Garden Formal theme" . They captured everything and got our full photo album with a preview video back so quickly! I loved Rob and his wife's energy and felt their upbeat and natural energy from our phone planning appointments to the moment they walked into the bridal suites to capture us both getting ready. They gave us a mix of portrait style photos and candid pix all night long. I am still flooded with joy and awe every time I open up the album and love that I can order prints, albums, wall hanging artwork and more directly from their website. They were effortless to work with and it was such a relief to have full trust and confidence in this vendor to deliver high-quality wedding photography. -

Millie & Rob were a huge part of our day being so positive - they showed up ready and had great ideas for shots. When other vendors had issues - lost timelines and lost transportation - Rob and Millie were there to pivot in the most professional way. In the end we decided to extend hours, add in expedited editing and a live stream and it was no issue at all.

What is my word count??? Can I write 1,000,000,000 words?? I could truly go on and on and on about how amazing this team is. Please listen to me right now. If you are on the fence about who to select for your photographer, STOP AND LOOK NO FURTHER! Solo Mio is EVERYTHING!!! Choosing them for our wedding was hands down one of the best decisions we have ever made (and they even TRAVELED TO US!) Every photo they took was an absolute DREAM and beyond anything I could have ever expected. Truly. We even had a wedding magazine reach out about featuring our pictures from our wedding in an upcoming issue!! From the moment Rob came onsite, he took control and brought the most FUN, vivacious energy and made us all so comfortable. You can tell in all of our pictures how much fun we were having and I would do anything to go back in time and do it again! Rob has this presence that you instantly trust. He was even on the ground, or on his back, in the bushes, whatever it took to get the shot. Him and Raymond are true ARTISTS that captures MOMENTS. Not the poses or the staging. The moments. The story. And when we got our pictures back (in 15 DAYS!!! Might I add!!!) I was so overwhelmed with the most amazing emotions. To know I will have these photos to cherish forever… Gosh I am so grateful! I mean these are truly movie star quality photos and they are ours… all thanks to Solo Mio. Best We Ever Had

Most amazing experience!!! Best decision
I don’t even know where to start because Rob literally went out of his way capture our day in such a beautiful way. My husband and I had less than a week to plan our wedding and everything just fell into place starting with Rob. We decided to do our engagement pictures at around 6:30 AM and then to have our wedding at 2:00 PM. Rob was there for both occasions and even though they were both happening on the same day he was able to make them feel as two completely different experiences and both of them were so unique. He is patient, subtle and he empowered us to just feel every emotion and not feel nervous which I think definitely reflected on his pictures. This man is incredible and my husband and I cannot thank him enough. He’s not just there for the pictures he’s there to encourage you and support you. We loved every single picture and as a bride I can say that I was worried about the details and how I looked but when I saw his pictures all I could see was our family’s emotion and our own feelings beyond anything. To be able to capture that and to be able to tell our story with such delicacy just makes him stand out from ANY other photographer I have ever worked with. If you’re reading reviews to make a decision on who to get for your special day I can tell you in all honesty that if you look away you can miss out on the most beautiful pictures and memories to be held. Rob is a trooper and by the end of the day he’s a friend. All this and we are short to explain his level of professionalism and to explain how much he actually cares that every moment is special and enjoyed. Having him is being able to mark off photos from your worry list. Thank you Solo Mio, we’ll never forget this. -

Working with Rob and his team was an absolute dream. Rob is not only an exceptionally talented artist, but also an amazing personality that added positive and vibrant energy to the day.
I knew I wanted Rob to do our wedding the second I saw his pictures on Wedding Wire and The Knot (the other amazing reviews didn't hurt either). I could tell that he is a true artist and that he aims to capture REAL moments in a dynamic and stunning way, which is exactly what I wanted, and let me say...he HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK!! I am OBSESSED with the photos from our wedding. They are hands down the best photos of me and of my husband that I have ever seen. Rob was able to seamlessly and effortlessly capture the true magic of the day through his work and even my husband who hates having his picture taken was impressed by the way Rob was both instructive and easy going about directing him what to do so the pictures would turn out amazing.
Rob had amazing ideas of his own, but also was super accommodating to the ideas that I had for the photos as well. Millie was so lovely in not only assisting Rob, but also helping me with things like my accessories and fixing my dress before walking down the aisle (unfortunately my family and maid of honor were not able to attend because of COVID), which was greatly appreciated. She is so cute and lovely!!
That brings me to the fact that Rob was SUPER flexible even though I only booked him a couple weeks before the wedding. We had to cancel our original wedding in New York because of COVID, and we basically had to plan a new one in Miami in under a month. Rob was super helpful in figuring out the timeline for the day, calling, texting and replying to my questions SUPER fast, and helping me brainstorm ideas for the wedding day that I wouldn't have thought of myself.
Because my family was not able to attend the wedding, it was super important to me that the photographs give a real sense of what the day was like for us. They literally could not have turned out better and Rob was able to get us the photographers in LESS THAN A WEEK. LIKE, WHAT??? He also let us keep the copyright to them and doesn't plaster his logo all over them like most other wedding photographers do. I appreciate that SO MUCH and I know a lot of other people do too. I will add that because of this, I am more motivated to always give him credit for the photos anywhere I share them and to recommend him to ANYONE AND EVERYONE!
If you've made it this far in the review, I think you know what you need to do: BOOK SOLO MIO!! You will not regret it, and you will be taken care of and THRILLED with the experience from start to finish. Thank you Rob & Millie!!!!! -

Most incredible photographer--HIGHLY recommend!
Where do I begin? Rob from Solo Mio is AMAZING! The pictures we received FAR SURPASSED our expectations. Words can never describe how INCREDIBLE and DREAMY our pictures came out. The angles, the coloring, the natural poses. The pictures are natural, candid, and captured who we are completely!Rob’s personality and warmth during our elopement made it easy to work with him and FUN! We had such a good time! I can't accurately describe our happiness with his work but our hearts are so full from seeing our elopement captured in the way that he did it. He will be our lifetime photographer! I will second my beautiful bride's review and I'll add to that--I am typically not the type to enjoy being in the spotlight or in front of the camera, usually photo's to me feel forced and I am generally uncomfortable--Rob not only made me feel comfortable but I actually had a lot of fun, something I never thought for myself. At times I forgot I was in front of a camera. He has a niche for capturing everything candid and is extremely professional. His portfolio speaks for itself--the way he works with natural lighting and the coloring he uses. Through our gallery I was able to relive the entire event. The turnaround time for our photos is unprecedented, I've never heard of anyone receiving professional photos in such a short matter of time. These pictures deserve a lot of publicity, they belong in an advertisement or a wedding magazine somewhere. My only regret was not booking him for a longer amount of time. --The Groom

This photographer has an amazing portfolio and I was tempted to think it was a compilation of 50 different weddings. No one could get that many fantastic shots in one evening. I was wrong! Rob got enough incredible shots for 3 weddings. My bride and I both love him. But don't take our word for it. He's gotten all 5 star reviews. And deserves each one of those stars. Don't consider using anyone else! -

It was a really fun experience. Rob made everyone so relaxed.
I thought the process would be stressful. Getting the family organized etc. but to my pleasant surprise it was a fun, bonding experience. We received the pictures in such a short time and they are amazing!!! The quality is so good. Thanks Rob, good job!! -

My wedding was originally scheduled for September 15th, due to hurricane Dorian, I had to reschedule. Rob assured me he would be available and was very flexible throughout that process
The day of my wedding was a blur! We fell behind schedule a little, but Rob came in and made me feel at ease. He has a good sense of humor, made my wedding party feel comfortable shooting, and captured beautiful shots. I am in love with the photos and have received many compliments. I'm glad I found him. I have beautiful memories. -

I found Solo Mio through WedddingWire and within probably 5 minutes of sending the message I got a call from Rob. He explained and offered his wedding photography services and I was immediately impressed by the fast response and eagerness to shoot my wedding and work with my fiancé and I. We ended up meeting him in person and then later on that night agreeing that we wanted to hire him! He totally sold us on his skills/personality and we felt totally comfortable with him. We just did our engagement photo shoot and I cannot express enough how happy I am that we chose to do our photos with him. My fiancé absolutely hates taking photos and I always have to drag him to take them. I thought it was going to be a really difficult time during the photo shoot and that he was going to hate the photos, how he looks, etc. but he immediately LOVED the engagement photos. Rob made us feel so comfortable and we were laughing the entire time and never felt awkward. My fiancé and I had a great time taking the photos and they came out amazing! I can’t wait to work with him again and see what our wedding photos look like!!

Rob kept me laughing the ENTIRE day and made an otherwise stressful day into a day I laughed so hard and the pictures came out SO good. He even had my wedding planner in tears laughing. He was climbing on chairs and moving tables/sofas to get the best shots possible. I even soaked him in champagne and then covered him in confetti and he didn't even care because the shots were amazing (sorry again Rob lol!) Everyone has complimented my pictures so much! His website makes it so easy to download, share, and order prints. I received all the pictures back SO fast. I highly recommend!! One of the best vendors of my wedding and it wouldn't have been the same without him! I'd hire him again and again for my pictures! -

Congratulations! You've discovered the boldest & most talented photographer around. Rob's passion and unique vision captured me in a style that reflects myself. My story is reflected in each shot, candid moments I will forever hold in my heart. There is nothing Rob cannot accomplish with his camera & his creative spirit. Rob's skill set is vast and if you don’t believe me go see for yourself, his sample images, his website and Instagram are just proof of his amazing work. I spent a good amount of time researching all of the proposals I received and I was so disappointed when I saw all these so called “Top Photographers” final images, poor quality and work and I was just so disgusted to see how much they were charging for such poor delivery. If you know quality you do your research and trust me with Rob you won’t be disappointed. I am not traditional by any means, and it was important to me that my pictures reflected my vision. I did not want my photos to be glossed over and forgotten, with generic, awkward poses and forced smiles. Instead, due to Rob's dedication to being awesome, my photos are repeatedly admired and stand out in the most glorious of ways! I will definitely hire Rob for all of my future projects. And willingness to always go above and beyond for his clients is truly unmatched and hard to find. I literally each picture he took is nothing short of amazing, from our portrait wedding so those two are reception photos everybody in my family and my husband and I adored each and every single one of these shots he captured. I love my pictures so much my husband and I will cherish this forever, thank you Roblo. Can I also mention that it rained which wasn’t obviously planned but this was no problem for Roblo, he brought props and used the rain to his advantage and only made our shots more romantic and unique. you want a photographer like Roblo, somebody who thinks on the fly,well experienced and truly cares about giving you the most memorable photos you’ll ever have. -
