My wedding was AMAZING. And it's all because of Paige, Marisa & Katie and the whole SOL staff. We were the first to attempt an interchangeable ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing all in this restaurant for 150 guests and they made it happen seamlessly. They were there to answer all my questions whenever I asked and set everything up just how I wanted. This was a very complicated idea I threw at them and they were excited. I would suggest keeping it under 150 guests because it was a tad tight but it was still amazing! Thank you guys!

Awesome! My fiancé and I enjoy Sol in both Newport Beach and Scottsdale. We are from Scottsdale and got married in Newport. We didn't realize we didn't have a place for our immediate family to eat after our rehearsal and were shocked that Paige was able to accommodate us on such short notice. Our guests thought we had planned the venue way far in advance!!

We had our wedding reception at Sol. It was such a beautiful and intimate venue. We had around 120 guests that fit perfectly into the space. The soft lighting and ocean views made everything very romantic. Chef Deb created a family style menu that the guests all raved about. Everything was unique in that it wasn't traditional "wedding food". All the guests could not stop talking about the food and margaritas. Everything was so perfect and the staff was very attentive! Our pictures look amazing too!

Sol Cocina and Paige (Events Manager) made my wedding celebration (a reception we held the day after our wedding ceremony) a party beyond our expectations. From the start, they were flexible with our requests for how to set up the venue, the food and drinks served, and allowed us plenty of time before and after the party to set up and tear down without being rushed. We had 150-160 people in the restaurant, and plenty of space for a dance floor, seating around the perimeter, and room to mingle and chat, however we didn't have a seated meal, so it might be different in that arrangement.
The food at Sol (we had tray-passed appetizers, a guacamole bar and taco bar) is as good as it comes, with a menu that will satisfy meat-eaters, fish-lovers, and vegetarians alike, all made fresh and with care. For drinks, we stuck to beer, house wine, and house margaritas, and the margaritas were the star. The full bar menu has specialty margaritas that can take you on adventures in fruit and spices, but the house margarita will satisfy even a picky drinker.
Overall, the location (PCH on one side, Newport Harbor on the other), food, drink, and the people make this a truly special place to celebrate pretty much anything. Salud!

We had our rehearsal dinner there and it was fantastic! Everyone was so helpful and fun, and the food was great! I love SOL and would definitely have an event there again! :)
