WOW - we could not be happier with our wedding (and engagement!) photos from Serge! He is so fun to work with, made us feel relaxed behind camera -- which is saying a lot for both of us -- and I can't stop looking through our wedding gallery. His style is bright and cheerful, which is exactly what we were looking for for our colorful spring wedding. Would 100% recommend and would use again! We got to the venue later than expected from some hair/makeup delays and he took so many great shots that you can't even tell. He made sure to get the standard portraits but also plenty of more fun and candid shots. We will cherish the day forever and it's amazing to have it captured so beautifully. We're so glad we found Serge for our wedding day! He offered a few different package options to meet the needs of our small wedding, and he was super responsive & knowledgable as we discussed details ahead of the big day. Everyone at our wedding loved Serge! He was so fun to work with and got smiles out of everyone. He captured so many wonderful photos of our ceremony & reception, including our golden retriever and our rainy walk between venues! -

My husband and I had an amazing experience working with Serge during our wedding! We are extremely happy with the photos - both from the ceremony and photo session we had afterwards. Serge managed to capture very special moments of the day and make everyone look amazing. He is not only a talented photographer who gets the best possible angles and finds ways to work with people who are not good at posing in photos; he is also a wonderful person and fun to work with - full of energy, passionate about what he's doing and enthusiastic. Serge did our engagement photos and they turned out fantastic! He was wonderful to work with. Serge was so full of energy which definitely made the session more fun and relaxing. He has a great eye for working with the environment that is available to achieve interesting shots. I'm pretty sure that's his photography superpower.Sokolov Photography's reply:

User2329435 Sent on 09/22/2015We were so lucky that Sokolov Photography / Serge was available on our wedding day! Our communication was speedy and clear from the beginning. Serge is very talented, he went the extra mile (or two!) for us, was very approachable and accommodating, friendly and fun to be around as a person, worked with us on our budget, captured very candid moments, yet also got all of the important moments documented. Overall, it was such a pleasure to interact with him and our pictures look great. Everyone felt comfortable with him which is what you want form a photographer. I would highly, highly recommend him! -

Serge was the best photographer we could have asked for! We hired him based on his style; bold, artsy, fun, memorable. Not to mention his pricing was great value. He was a joy to work with since day one. We hired him to both our engagement photos and ultimately our wedding celebration. He has been very upbeAat and pleasurable to work with. We first hired him to do our engagement photoshoot in late 2019 and a planned wedding in May of 2020. The engagement photoshoot was amazing, excellent energy, very outgoing, involved our dog and our guests, went above and beyond, and the photos (so many of them) turned out amazing, exactly like his portfolio reflected and then some. Unfortunately due to COVID, our wedding was postponed 3 times over, from May 2020 to ultimately October 2021. Serge was highly accommodating and stick by us the entire time as if COVID never happened, never once did he say no through all of the unpredictability. The day of the wedding celebration was as perfect as one would hope - just a year and a half later than expected. Serge again went above and beyond, incredibly outgoing, having a blast, very involved. He even brought a second photographer per our request and was able to capture concurrent events happening in two places during the day. All of the guests raved about Serge and his assistant, they were well loved by everyone. They were not only there to work the special day, but they became part of the special day. 10/10 would recommend!! -

We really enjoyed working with Serge Sokolov!
He met with us in person before we signed the contract to go over his offerings and help us understand what it might be like working with his company. We liked his portfolio and loved that all of the options came with full digital rights.
The day of the event he arrived on time and hit the ground running. He and his partner got along well with our guests and we enjoyed a number of the shots he pushed us on (I wasn't crazy about stuffing my face with cotton candy—but now I'm happy I did it).
We were really pleasantly surprised by his amazingly fast turnaround of our photos as well. It's not even a month and we have all of our photos back, ready to share with friends and fam.
I've already recommended Serge to others getting married in the near future. -

We worked with Serge last summer for the birthday photo shoot of my little brother, so right after the proposal, we booked him immediately for the wedding. And it was such a blast! Serge captured those tiny little moments of the day that we'd forget otherwise, and the pictures caught everyone's personality just perfect! He took remarkable candid photographs of us and our guests too, all while remaining unobtrusive, kind and really really fun - I would invite Serge for the wedding one more time only for his jokes and the way he made everyone laugh. So if you're looking for professionalism, amazing pics and fun - you found it.
