    Gorgeous rentals!

    We used Snyder Rentals for our wedding at Legare Waring House, where we had to bring everything in. Snyder was very easy to work with, and everything was perfect! Every detail was perfect thanks to the Snyder team!

    Rentals made easy

    Renting from Snyders was easy. We had a 96 person wedding an rented our table-wear, linens, ceremony chairs, and other catering items. Working with Perla was super easy and she was very responsive. Once you book, it was easy to make changes up until 2 days prior to our wedding.

    Amazing Rentals

    We use Snyder for majority of our rentals, including our lounge furniture on the recommendation of our wedding planner. Everything they provided was of wonderful quality and I couldn't recommend them enough!

    Snyder has everything you need!

    William was our point of contact for our rentals and he invited us to their showroom so we could get a clear idea of what we wanted our tables to look like. We had so much fun playing dress up with the tables to get our perfect display. I changed our inventory countless times and William was incredibly helpful to ensure it was perfect and didn’t flinch once when I made yet another change to our items. Snyder was great to work with from start to finish!

    Easy to work with

    Great Company

    Great company! Helped me figure out everything I needed for the linens for my wedding. Colors were beautiful, price was affordable, pick-up/drop-off was easy! Can't ask for much more!

    Amazing Service

    Desiree at Snyder Events was extremely helpful! I had no idea where to start when picking out rentals for our wedding and she helped relieve some of my stress. When I told her where we were having the wedding, she knew the type of chairs that would be best for the venue, as to not scratch the floors and she spent a good amount of time helping me pick out the colors for our table cloths (which I ended up switching a few around the week before the wedding, but she was able to deliver what I wanted!). Our wedding was beautiful and we had the perfect amount of chairs and tables for everything. The delivery guys setup the chairs according to my Planner's layout and made sure everything was set before they left. If I ever have to plan another event, I'll definitely be going to Desiree at Snyder for help!

    Look no further...work with this company!

    Will with Snyder Event Rentals defines southern hospitality and professionalism. The entire wedding rental process was a lot less complicated than I had anticipated, and their inventory allows for so many options and different styles! Day of, Snyder was one of the first vendors on the grounds ready to set up for our day! Will was available to answer any of questions and quickly addressed any concerns. Everything was PERFECT! I am so glad that we listened to others' advice and along with Snyder's long-standing reputation with Charleston events, we highly recommend working with them for weddings!

    Great rental companies with good prices!

    We used snyder for most of our rentals for wedding, as well as our tent. They have a very large inventory and were very easy to work with and have a great selection of chairs, tables, flatware. Would recommend them to anyone needing rentals in the Charleston area.

    Stress free Rehearsal Dinner

    Snyder Events and their sister company Spike handled the bar set up and services at our rehearsal dinner. They were easy to deal with from my first email to my last phone call. I would recommend them.

    Great rental company with reasonable prices

    I used Snyder to rent tables and chairs for my wedding. Eden Ellis was wonderful to work with! She made multiple modifications to my order during the planning process based on my guest count. She was very responsive and organized. I provided her with diagrams for the ceremony and reception areas and they were both set up exactly as I had envisioned. I highly recommend Snyder and working with Eden!

    So much fun to pick rentals!

    I really liked using Snyder because we didn't have to purchase almost anything for our wedding. The prices were reasonable, even for upscale rentals like chairs and upgraded table cloths which really made a difference when it was all put together. I didn't have to worry about setting up or tearing down which made for a stress free wedding day!

    LOVED Working with Snyder

    I knew aspects of planning a destination wedding would be stressful, but working with Snyder events easily took that stress away by allowing us to rent all essentials for our big day. During one of our visits to Charleston in the months leading up to the wedding, we had a great meeting to pick out all the specifics. During that meeting we came to know Jennifer who was beyond helpful in keeping our vision and budget in mind. Like so many of our vendors, Jennifer was a warm supportive sounding board for our many questions. We truly wouldn't have had the beautiful wedding we did without Snyder and Jennifer. Don't look any further, go with Snyder!

    Beautiful farm tables!

    We rented farm tables from Snyder for our head table...they were absolutely beautiful! We pushed 2 long ones together so we could have all 18 people of our wedding party seating together with us! It was gorgeous and they were very easy to work with!

    We had a wonderful experience working with Snyder Events for our wedding day rentals! Snyder provided us with the most beautiful tent and dance floor for our reception. In addition, we had an unexpected rain storm on the day of the wedding. With one day advance notice, they were able to pull together additional tents to cover each of our outdoor areas - providing tents and pole covers - which kept our guests dry and the venue still as stunning as ever. Their quick response with rain cover helped ensure our big day was a big success!!

    They were able to accommodate a small gathering and offered by-the-chair pricing. Because of the small number of chairs we needed, we opted to pick them up since the delivery fee would have been more than the chairs. They weren't allowed to deliver on the beach anyway. Pick up was easy and drop off was quick. Plus their showroom offered many ideas of what they had in stock and gave me ideas for other upcoming parties.

    Reasonable price- no hidden fees! When comparing, I originally was going to go with a "cheaper" rental company, but they had a ton of hidden fees tagged on with their final quote. I used Snyder and never again will I recommend looking for a cheaper option in this department. They were super efficient, communicative, and friendly.

    All of the rentals were beautiful and there was a wide variety of items to choose from. The silverware, linens and chairs were beautiful. They were easy to work with and very flexible with changes we made last minute.

    Edson and I chose Snyder Rentals for our rental items (tables, chairs, napkins, plates, etc) for our wedding this past Sunday at the Carriage House in Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, SC. They were so easy to deal with and super simple to rent from! As our guest count was changing, they were so nice and accommodating! They are so reasonable in price for the rental items and they are worth every penny! Thank you for helping make our wedding day perfect! :) I'd recommend them to anyone in the Charleston area!

    We rented a tent, tables, chairs, linens, and dishes from Snyder's. We also used Spike, their bar service. I was extremely happy with both. I interacted with William at Snyder's, and he was AMAZING! Very responsive to all my questions, met with us for an extensive meeting, and very helpful leading up to the day of. Both Snyders and Spike were extremely prompt, professional, and thorough. Would definitely recommend.

    Unpredictable November weather caused a last minute order of some mushroom heaters. I made a quick phone call to Snyder, they said they were available and could be dropped off, setup and picked up at the right times. Our coordinator needed some last minute items from them and they were able to provide excellent service.

    I used Snyder for outdoor chair rentals for my wedding ceremony. The whole process was smooth from signing the contract to delivery and tear down of the chairs. Chairs were set up quickly, efficiently and exactly as the layout I submitted!

    Choosing an event rental company in Charleston is no easy task. With so many vendors to choose from, we ultimately decided on Synder Events and couldn’t have made a better decision. Snyder offers competitive pricing, excellent service and high quality rental equipment. We needed chairs, tables and linens for our Welcome Dinner and Eden was beyond helpful walking us through the selection process. Snyder delivered the equipment timely, set-up perfectly according to the layout we provided, and broke-down the tables and chairs for pick-up promptly at the end of the event. If you are in need to event rentals in Charleston, I highly recommend Snyder Events and their fantastic staff!

    Best rental company in town! Easy to work with and quality rentals, nothing was below expectations! They dropped off, set up and took down our wedding without us having to lift a finger, which lifted a huge weight off our family's backs! We are very greatful to Snyder Event Rentals!

    We used them for linens, tables and chairs. The linens were the perfect colors of ivory, navy, and coral, which worked out great. The brown folding chairs we rented were in good condition. I went to the rental store and they were very helpful there and even gave me swatches to keep. I highly recommend them!

    I cannot say enough good things about Snyder Event Rentals. Every piece of correspondence was swift and professional. They always reply to emails promptly and answer all questions thoroughly. We put the big ticket items (tent and stage) on reserve ahead of time along with the usuals (hardware, glassware, flatware, etc). As the planning progressed, we needed to add things/remove things off of the list and Kelly was so kind and patient with us and adjusted the order several times to fit our needs. The contract was very straightforward and easy to understand. The delivery guys arrived right on time and got right to work! You have nothing to worry about if you rent with Snyder!

    Jeri from the Wickliffe House, where my wedding was held, recommended Snyder Event Rentals. Their website was easy to use. I read many good reviews, so I knew this would be a good choice. The items we rented were reasonably priced and looked great, especially the silver tiered trays for our afternoon tea theme. Lovely! Highly recommended.

    We rented gold chairs for our event. They service is great, although the chairs were a little expensive at almost $8-8.50/piece.

    Snyder events was perfect. We set up everything ahead of time and the day-of I didn't hear a beep from them - everything was delivered and picked up on time, so I consider the fact I didn't hear anything awesome! And they are HONEST - apparently, they didn't have two of the table cloths we ordered - they substituted with a different but completely adequate size, I didn't even notice the difference but they told me about it and credited us - totally unexpected and greatly appreciated. They were easy to work with, economical (I compared), efficient and it did not require ANY extra effort on my part -- which, in planning a wedding, is huge.

    My words cannot do justice for the exquisite work that Snyder Events does. In Charleston, the bar is set high. With so much competition, each vendor realizes the talent, creativity and special touches they need to provide just to stand out. Snyder goes above and beyond this bar. When my wedding planner fell through, Jennifer from Snyder quickly noticed the oddities in the rental list that my planner was requesting. Having much experience with my venue, she was constantly on the phone and exchanging emails with mom and I to give her input on what she would do to make my reception area look best put together while also making it much more cost efficient. She helped design my table setup, the bar setup, figured out a way to put together a tent the way I envisioned, all without an extra charge. She told me "This is a beautiful venue and I want to make sure your day is exactly the way you want it to be". I am beyond grateful for the dedication this team gives their clients. Thank you thank you thank you so much for a beautifully decorated wedding! Your work does NOT go unnoticed!

    Snyder is the real deal when it comes to rentals and staffing. We used Snyder for all our rentals, including our giant clear tent so we could still see the stars (which I just HAD to have). It is a good thing we did have that tent, too, with 80% chance of precipitation all day! We also hired Spike for our bar and the staff was so accommodating to our guests’ needs. The staff is very professional and they provide high-quality rentals and service. They are worth every penny!

    I could not say enough good things about Snyder Event Rentals. I worked with Dana who was a pleasure to work with. I met with her one time and had many follow up conversations via the phone. I made multiple changes to my inventory and she was always so helpful and told me her opinion of what would look good when I asked. I highly recommend SER.

    Snyder Event Rentals are wonderful to work with. The bride and groom live out of state and I (mother of the groom) live in Charleston. My son and beautiful daughter-in-law along with me, met with Kelly. She was so patient with our questions and helpful with size of tent, number of tables and chairs, cocktail tables, etc. The wedding reception was going to be at my house and I was a little nervous about where exactly the tent should go. No problem - Greg came out for a site visit and immediately knew the best place for function as well as aesthetics. He was so pleasant. We also had the rehearsal dinner at my house and the caterer for that event, The Crazy Dutchman, uses Snyder also. We wanted to keep the reception area special, so the tent was set up behind the pool in the back yard and the rehearsal dinner - without a tent - was to be in the front yard. Snyder was on time for delivery, set up and pick up for both events and did a beautiful job. The tent was HUGE and also had a tent liner. The men that came to put it up, do the liner, hang the chandeliers, and the perimeter lighting were so nice and efficient and had everything perfect. All of the tables and chairs as well as the tables for the carving station, buffet, etc. were delivered early the morning of the wedding. The reception was to be at 7 p.m. This allowed ample time for the caterer for that event, Lowcountry Eats, to set up all of the linens and allow plenty of time for the florist to put out the centerpieces. It turns out that Lowcountry Eats uses Snyder, also. Everything flowed seamlessly and without a hitch. All of my vendors work well with Snyder and it was like one big efficient machine! We also used Spike for the bar and they did a wonderful job, too. We made several changes along the way and Snyder accommodated us every time. They might be a LITTLE pricier than some other vendors, but you get what you pay for and they are worth every penny! The reception was beautiful.

    Spike Bar service and Snyder rentals are the best in the business! You're crazy to go with any of the smaller bar service or rental companies in the area. Most of them fly by night and unprofessional.

    Snyder’s Rentals provided the gorgeous sofas for our daughter's wedding reception at the Historic Rice Mill! Our daughter had chosen to rent 4 (triangular) cocoa rattan corner sofas to surround a table graced with a tall floral arrangement and adorned by photographs. We decorated the sofas with pillows made by her grandmother and a friend – perfectly blending with the table linens nearby. We also chose Snyder’s two 4-foot each Maude Bars to set up as our outdoor satellite bar – gorgeous (the two pieces have “frames” in which we put pieces of fabric that coordinated with our aforementioned pillows). We also chose Snyder’s high chivari chairs (mahogany ballroom stools is the “rental name”) to provide extra seating around the Rice Mill’s brass ring cocktail tables near the outside Maude bar – looked great and very comfortable with the accompanying bengaline seat cushions (also from Snyder’s)! We had the pleasure of working with Connie at Snyder’s Rentals and couldn’t have been more pleased with their service and beautiful furniture – elegant and inviting all night long!

    AMAZING! Connie and Matt were great! I was that bride who had no true idea of what I wanted, I just wanted "romantic and elegant" and both sides of this company--event rentals and Spike bar--were absolutely amazing!

    Even when my "Mrs." cake fork was lost the night of the wedding, they searched high and low in their inventory to find it for me BEFORE I left to return to Texas. The very nice lady who helped me with this dilemma was priceless!

    These guys are flexible and have reasonable prices for everything you need for your wedding or other special event. For my daughter's wedding on October 5, they provided tables, chairs, linens, place settings, flatware, and glassware. If I am ever planning another special event in the Charleston area, they will be among the first people I contact.

    We used Snyder Event Rentals for our bar service. Leading up to our wedding day, I was able to work with one of the kindest ladies who took each question and thought I had with sincerity. I couldn't say enough thanks for all her hard work leading up to our day (thanks Kelly). Day of, I could not have been more happy with the bar service.     Snyders Rentals provided tables, chairs, and linens for me for 2 dinners. The Welcome Dinner and the Wedding evening dinner. They were very patient and helpful to me when making decisions. They gave advise when asked. The delivery was prompt and the deliverery guys were polite. Communication was great!

    AMAZING RENTALS! They set-up a gorgeous tent, lit it with gorgeous string lighting, worked around us trying to set up our back yard, hurriedly rushed back to headquarters to get pole covers (we didn't think about those beforehand!) with matching ties, and even swapped out busted chairs for better ones! They worked tirelessly for hours the Thursday before our wedding (THURSDAY! NOT EVEN FRIDAY! at no extra charge!) and made sure that we knew where everything was. They were wonderful!

    Pros: Everything was great! They were so accommodating when they realized they brought the wrong table cloth texture and rushed back to get the correct ones. They were timely, set up very professionally, the set-up crew were funny and very friendly, and everything was beautiful!!!! They were so laid back with the deposit (didn't demand it even when I tried to push it on them!), they didn't ask for payment right away (after all the back and forths with making sure everything was perfect, THAT was when they wanted payment. I didn't even realize they took the payment until my mom mentioned it!). Such a great experience with them!

    We used snider for a bbq in our backyard and also rented items for the wedding day including a cake stand and napkins. They delivered, set up and took down all included in the price. They even set up the day before and left it over the weekend for us so we didn't have to worry about it during the wedding weekend.

    Fantastic! I am still getting rave reviews on the food! Provided excellent service both prior to and the day of the event. Has a set menu but are willing to work with you on special additions- in addition to the Southern Charleston food, we wanted Carolina style BBQ sliders to represent my husband's NC roots and they were completely on board- and they tasted great! The prices were very reasonable and they boxed all of the extra food for us to take back for guests at a drop-in the next day! Completely recommended!

    I had the pleasure of working with Eden Ellis and the Snyder Rental Company for my wedding on May 20, 2017. From the beginning of planning to the day of our event we have been impressed with the communication, professionalism, attention to detail, and hard work displayed by Eden. We had a rather large order but she was about to keep everything organized. Snyder has a large selection of rental items compared to the other companies I had researched and they had everything we needed. Everything we ordered was an described. We were very happy with the set up of our tents (tent liners are a must), bars, linens, china, and glassware (our guests loved the champagne coups and wine glasses) which was done the day of by a Snyder crew.     We used Snyder event rentals for our backyard wedding this past October. We had about 75 guests and originally rented tables and chairs. As the date drew closer we decided to add a tent as well. We’re so lucky we did as it started pouring rain about half way through the reception. The tent kept all our guests and vendors dry so it was well worth it! The rental delivery and pickup was timely and quick. Overall, we are very happy with the service Snyder Events provided for our wedding.

    Snyder was great to work with. They are one of the bigger rental company's in Charleston, but they treated us very well and we felt like their most important customers. We were even able to book a last minute tent liner 2 days before our wedding and they were able to accommodate us. Jenn and Nate were great and very responsive.

    We rented all of our ceremony and reception chairs, reception tables, glassware, barware, silverware, dishes, linens, etc. from Snyder and all arrived on time the day of the wedding and were set up according to our diagram. Jennifer at Snyder was SO great to work with throughout the planning process. She was very patient, accommodating, and responsive. Our wedding was all outdoor and it turned out it was going to be pretty cold, so we reserved 4 mushroom heaters. Only 3 came and all were late, which was a bummer, but Snyder did refund us for the heater that didn't work. Overall, we were very pleased with Snyder and most weddings in Charleston use them for a reason!

    After researching all of our options for rentals in the area, Snyder won out due to the competitive prices and online reviews. Overall I was very happy with Snyder! Our rentals were delivered on time and according to direction at both our reception and ceremony venues. The items we received were in excellent condition and everything was set up according to the provided design. My only issue (and it is a very small issue) was with the communication. While all of my emails were answered promptly, I found that I was constantly having to answer the same questions over and over. This gave the impression that the person I was communicating with (and it was the same person each time) wasn't reading my emails thoroughly or paying attention. Also, when I was asked to provide a credit card for the 50% deposit (and told that the remaining 50% would be charged the week of the wedding...months away), my card was charged for the full amount. However, despite these small issues, I was quite happy with Snyder and would use them again without hesitation.

    I had been in contact with Snyder for several months planning for my wedding. I contacted them multiple times to add or subtract things from my order. They always responded extremely fast and sent me an updated list. They delivered everything on time and set up all the tables for us. My receipt said they were supposed to come back the next day between 11-3 to pick everything up. I called them at 3 because nobody had showed up yet and the man I talked to said that somehow they had forgotten to schedule the house on their pick up schedule today, but he said he would send someone out. At 5:30 I hadn't heard back from anyone so I called again and talked to a different man. He checked and said that there was no record of anyone being sent out there, but that he would get somebody there in 45 minutes to get everything. They showed up exactly 45 minutes later and picked everything up. It wasn't a big deal because it was at our rented beach house that we were staying at for another night. I did have to stay the house all day though so I could let them in the house. Overall, I would still recommend them because it was only a minor inconvenience.

    Snyder was very nice and flexible, and their rentals were delivered on time and in good condition. The only down side were the prices on some of their lounge furniture. We actually ended up buying a coffee table for $50 rather than renting theirs for $150. We also did the same with some fans.

    Overall, we had a great experience with Snyder. Our sales consultant was very helpful in understanding our budget and suggested lots of options to help us achieve the look we wanted. They delivered everything on time on the day of (excellent!!!) and each item was in impeccable condition. They did leave behind one tablecloth, but picked it up from our home the next week. The only downside I could see is that their showroom is so big and filled with great items, that it is easy to rack up a large rental budget without even realizing it, especially if you're not going through your caterer to lower the insurance budget. We found it was cheaper for us to buy mason jar glasses than for us to rent them from Snyder's, for example. Go in with your budget clearly defined and vision, and Snyders will make it happen!

    Snyder was great to work with! Jennifer Cunningham was always available via email to make changes to my rental order and did so very quickly. We purchased some items ourselves, but rented most things. Snyder is okay with you customizing however you'd like in order to fit your budget. They have many options and you can make a visit there to set a table yourself! On the day of the wedding, Snyder got there earlier than expected and helped set tables up wherever we asked.. highly recommend Snyder Rentals!

    Everything we rented from Snyder worked out fine. They are very busy, so we had some communication issues getting in touch with our account person, there were also several people working on our account which made it a bit more confusing. Finally, it took a long time to get a floor plan from them, about two weeks before the wedding which was a bit frustrating. Everything we ordered came in plenty of time and they did a lot of the set up, and it was all how it was supposed to be. They definitely have the most experience with different venues in town.

    I had a completely smooth experience with Snyders. I only contacted them one week in advance and while one or two things were no longer available (such as medium sized galvenized tubs to fill with ice and beers), they suggested one large horse water trough which worked perfectly.

    They delivered on time, picked up on time, allowed me to make changes in numbers of chairs up until the Thursday before our Saturday wedding, delivered what they said they would, no hidden charges, and basically were a very reputable easy to work with group.

    Snyder's provided the linens for my reception. They were chosen by my original wedding planners, and are the "go to" event rental company in historic Charleston. I think that their linens were super fantastic - amazing looking! I loved the color and they were spot on. However, for the price and the service (at times) they were less than "star" quality. After switching wedding planners, this company was hard to get ahold of, and emailing back and forth I was waiting on answers sometimes over several weeks. I know that vendors are busy and honestly your wedding isn't a priority until its within 30 days of taking place, but even to plan the logistics and to get my questions answered between planners- not being able to get the contact or answers I needed proved frustrating at times. I don't know if it was because my original planners were no longer working with me or what (a lot of vendors in this area only want to work with brides they know are working with planners in their area). We chose to pick up our linens but I'm sure their delivery would've been just as fine. Snyder's is the go to company, so they can also be very pricey but the linens did end up looking great- just not sure they needed to cost that much for rental!

    They were able to work with us through email, since we did not live near the wedding location, which was extremely helpful for us. They were also willing to go through many revisions to our original rental quote and were happy to oblige us. The rentals were all in great condition. I would recommend them to anyone planning an event in the service area.

    Everything you need!

    Our caterer handled all of the rentals, but Snyder had everything we needed! Tables, linens, dishes, silverware, glassware, tents, lights, etc. The crews were all super friendly and helped set up for our weather contingency plan.

    I was very happy with Synder event rentals. The setup was on time, and the break down was on-time. They were attentive to where things should be set-up, and did a great job and making things look great.

    Snyder provides some wonderful dishes, linens & flatware for our wedding reception. What really disappointed us were the chairs. So many chairs arrived broken and others broke as the night went on. I was really embarrassed about the quality and for our wedding guests that broke chairs throughout the night. They were kind enough to provide a partial refund but it took them some time. With other event rental companies in the area, I would think twice before choosing Snyder again.

    I do not recommend working with Snyder Event Rentals, for the following reasons:

    - They were 1 hour late with my items on my wedding day, arriving less than 2 hours before our ceremony start time. This caused a delay in every other portion of our setup, as well as our "getting ready" and photo time, as we were doing the set up ourselves. They didn't bother to call and say they were running late or when they would arrive.

    - I purchased our table linens elsewhere for way less than Snyder had them available for rental. I've since sold them to another bride.

    - Their level of professionalism is abysmal. I signed my contract with a sales rep, they "lost" my signed contract (WITH MY CARD NUMBER ON IT!!!), and didn't bother to apologize. Every email I sent them, I was sent back an email response with my changed contract attached, but nothing in the body of the email. It was INCREDIBLY rude and off-putting.

    So, late, high prices, and unprofessional? I wouldn't do business with Snyder again.

    Zero Accountability

    Brad and his team were not accountable for throwing away memorabilia that they were explicitly asked not to do. When addressed with the company they acknowledged the wrong doing but did not make amends of any kind. Horrible accountability and we do not recommend using their service.

    Tent Rental

    We used Snyder for a tent rental for our wedding. They were 3 hours late putting the tent up forcing all of our other vendors to be delayed in setting up. It’s really a shame to spend this much money on something to totally derail your day.

    Stand by their products and services. They did an excellent job from start to finish right up to the point where there was a problem. We rented old church pews from Snyder but they were not properly supported in the middle. In fact my entire family including my 86 year old mother, were sitting on a 12 ft pew. The wood cracked, became unstable and everyone had to scramble to keep from hitting the ground. Several other pews were unstable also creating noise during the ceremony to the point people were laughing about it and so uncomfortable with the stability that they stood during the wedding. I spoke with Klaus and explained the situation and and after a couple of conversations he would only refund me 50% of the cost of the rental for the pews. I think it is terribly short sighted that Snyder did not refund 100% of the rental cost of the pews. As a result, I will make sure as many people as possible know of my dissatisfaction with their company. For roughly $500 they are willing to sacrifice their reputation and have an unhappy customer with 4 more children to be married in the future. I will take my business elsewhere. Certainly a poor business decision on their part.
