  My daughter's wedding and reception was held at Snode's barn. The price for 3 days was very reasonable and gave us plenty of time to set up and tear down. We were free to do what we wanted. The setting is beautiful and the wedding/reception turned out beautiful! It was 84 degrees when the wedding started at 5:00 and the barn wasn't that hot. Later when it got warmer in the barn we had things planned to do outside. It was a wonderful and very scenic place to have the wedding. Everyone enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend. it. (I would make sure to send directions in with your wedding invitations because the GPS on your cell phone gets very spotty reception)

  We had a great day here for a wonderful price! We rented out the Barn for the whole weekend and it was a hit. The only complaint from the guests was that it was very hot on the top floor in June, but because the grounds were so nice, most people spent their time outside anyways! We were very satisfied with our experience and would gladly recommend this place to anyone in the tri-county area... it was the only thing like it nearby! I really wanted to have a barn wedding and grew up in Minerva, so this was PERFECT!

  While the barn is beautiful, espiecially for being a barn. And the pond would've been lovely, had it not rained. There was no alcohol aloud. The price was reasonable, but they misplaced my checks twice and never called to let me know, I only found out when I called to check up. The day went well overall, and turned out beautiful. But you only get it from 8AM to Midnight, and must pay the full price for another day to set up the night before, which I found to be very unreasonable, considering no one was there, and my wedding began at 12 noon. Also, room is VERY tight there, we had approx. 100 guests, and felt very cramped and it got very hot.
