We are thrilled and honored to have worked with Snap Weddings for our wedding! Our engagement and wedding photos both came out incredible - with great family, action/guest interaction and wedding venue/decor photos from the wedding day. Trish, Mariah, Linda and Cloud were all phenomenal - super responsive, engaged, and professional. On the day of, Linda and Cloud went above and beyond helping to corral our family for photos and were such a positive presence throughout the day. Mariah and Trish are an incredible team!!!! Extremely responsive, organized (which is huge when you’re planning your wedding!!), professional and lovely to work with. Our pictures exceeded expectations and they really did listen to what we wanted (lots of candids, stunning pics of the venue etc.) I loved their style photos because their images are SO clear, crisp, the way they play with light is stunning and unique among other photographers. Lastly, we don’t take for granted how easy it is to view the photos, download, pay balances and communicate. They really do make it easy and they are the best! -

Lucky to have worked with such amazing women!
We were a COVID couple who had to postpone our wedding a year and Snap was one of the few vendors we felt were a must when we were rescheduling. We originally booked the owner team Trish and Mariah who we met with and you instantly feel like you've known them forever. They are professional, but laid back and not pretentious. I cannot say enough how both of them personally helped me through planning a postponed wedding and how flexible and calm they were during such a crazy time for brides and vendors. Due to scheduling with our venue, we ended up booking the associate team Linda and Cloud, which we do not see as a concession at all! They embody all the same qualities at the owner team and just as much talent. These women have earned their reputation in the Newport/RI wedding scene with their talent, but truly make you feel as if you're their own client! We can't recommend Snap enough and are so pleased with our photos. We want to get married all over again just to work with them and another set of amazing photos! -

Truly outstanding. Not only was every single photo absolutely beautiful, but they were super professional and unobtrusive on our actual wedding day. We LOVED having SNAP as our wedding photographers! They are so easy to work with and make you feel super comfortable with them which equals amazing pictures! We met Mariah and Trish for our engagement shoot (which they traveled to NYC for-thanks guys!) and we knew we made a great decision! We got the full SNAP experience as we had Linda and Cloud for our Friday Church ceremony and Mariah and Trish for our Saturday ceremony at Castle Hill Inn. We were totally blown away by the quality of the pictures. Trish is also amazing to work with on your album(s) and gave such great advice and suggestions! We also love following them on instagram (love the videos!) Thanks again for everything! We loved working with you all! -

Trish and Mariah were recommended to us by another wedding vendor in the area and we are so grateful that they were. From the initial conversation, to planning the timeline for the day, to actual day of, everything was smooth. Our engagement pictures was a great way to make us feel comfortable, get us used to taking professional photos (because who has done this before??!!?) and tell us where to place our hands. The meeting in person to discus our vision for the day of was super helpful....and on the day they had a list of specific photos we wished for that day. Day of, I couldn't imagine what I would have done without them. They made sure my sister knew how to "fluff my dress" so it looked good in photos, got all the guys in line for their photos, helped us out at cocktail hour when we needed to move onto the next people for a conversation and overall made us feel great that entire day. I cannot wait to see how the pictures came out. I couldn't imagine having any other people there that day. Thank you ladies!!!! -

The best photographers!! Very nice and professional, and they do great work! We had our Wedding at Castle Hill Inn in May and the weather was perfect. Snap captured every moment and the photos are AMAZING! We even used one as the cover of our 'Thank You' cards, and received so many compliments. We are beyond happy with our choice! Perfectionism and Professionalism!!!
Here's what I learned - the photographer is the most important vendor of them all. It doesn't matter if things go wrong - and they will! despite a planner and 15 months of prep! - you need the professionalism and attitude of Trish and Cloud from the SNAP team to talk you off the ledge (including yoga breathing!) and bring you back into the moment.
Incredibly responsive, patient, ORGANIZED!, and flexible - this team fielded several emails and indecisiveness on my part 6 months before my big day with attentiveness and humor. Despite planning a wedding from Washington, D.C., SNAP made time to meet with us and learn our personalities and aesthetic for the big day. They are genuinely interested in their client's love stories too - wanting to hear every detail of engagement and reminiscing on past weddings they have worked on. As a preferred vendor of Rosecliff, they knew the perfect shots in Newport based on lighting and weather and successfully maximized the time of an elderly grandmother, a 9-month pregnant maid of honor, and several rowdy groomsmen. We are so pleased with how our photos turned out and even more impressed with the level of professionalism and perfectionism from the big day to finalizing our album! -

If you get the chance to work with the Snap Weddings team in any capacity, you should take it. You will not regret it. What first drew me to Snap when I started research for our wedding was their website. It’s beautiful and after looking through it I knew they were just what we were looking for. If you’re searching for a wedding photographer in the Newport area, you must take a look and see for yourselves. Then after a lovely phone call with Mariah, I knew it was meant to be.
We first met Trish and Mariah in person on a fall day in Newport for our engagement session. Neither of us had ever had professional photos taken before so it was such an amazing way to get to know the ladies, their style, and we knew right away that we’d made the best decision with Snap.
Flash forward a few months to our wedding day, Trish and Mariah came in and instantly felt part of the group. We were both worried about being unphotogenic on our wedding day so it couldn’t have been more of a blessing to have two women that are the best in the business to support us. They were so positive, patient and made us feel so comfortable throughout the day. We felt like they truly had our backs. They knew so much about the venue (Castle Hill Inn), where the best pictures could be taken, and were always aware of the best angles and lighting. Trish and Mariah captured so many amazing moments and details that we now get to look back on for years to come. They were also so kind when dealing with our families for group pictures, especially since some wrangling was definitely needed haha!
After the wedding was over we received our pictures from Trish and Mariah and wow did they take our breath away. For our wedding album Trish provided us with an amazingly helpful video that walked through the outline so we could see what pictures would work best out of the 900 we had to choose from. We wouldn’t have known where to start if we had to do this ourselves so we’re so grateful this awesome service comes with the Snap package. The final album is absolutely beautiful and shows our special day like a fairytale. This along with our folios that we gave to our parents as gifts will be items we’ll treasure forever.
The photographs Trish and Mariah took on our wedding day were a dream come true and we’ll be eternally grateful to them for capturing the best day of our lives so perfectly. -

The photographers were a decision that we felt was one of the most important, and we are extremely happy we chose to go with Snap. We did plenty of research and decided that we wanted a team that caught more natural moments, versus poses. Some staged shots are just simply necessary, but the ladies of Snap kept it fun and invited our opinions to ensure we were comfortable with the end results. They constantly talked and discussed the shots and how/what we wanted or expected. They had multiple suggestions of locations and styles and so we all worked together as a team to get what we really wanted for our photos. In addition to our private shots, the shots of the wedding guests, and general event really brought back memories of the celebration. There were plenty of pictures that caught people in the moment, and it was brilliantly done. They’re truly professionals, seamlessly moved throughout the wedding night capturing way more pictures than I would have imagined. They also picked out the best pictures for our album, effortlessly I’m sure. My analytical nature still compared what they put together to all the pictures we had and it was honestly not needed at all – they know what they’re doing in all aspects. We highly recommend Snap if you want to capture a life event with the fresh and vividly accurate detail it deserves.
It may also be worth mentioning that it rained on our wedding day – I don’t even think of it because the day went perfectly. However, this just goes to show their talent even more. We ended up getting pictures at different locations than the typical bride and groom would get at our venue on a sunny day and I couldn’t have been more pleased. It was just meant to be and Snap knew what to do on a rainy day too. -

Where do I start!?!? My husband and I booked Snap Wedings as our photographers for our wedding on 9/1/18. From being in the wedding industry myself as a wedding planner and seeing and experiencing working with many photographers in the area I just HAD to have Mariah and Trish for our big day!
Taking photos is not my husbands favorite activity to say the least (ha!) and right away Mariah and Trish got him out of his shell during our engagement shoot (and wedding) and captured the true emotions and love between us perfectly! It is so very important to have a great connection with your photographer and there is no way not to have a connection with these two! They are funny (actually hilarious!), very professional, caring and so very in-tune with their couples and to boot their work is just stunning. They make you feel so comfortable and there in the moment and they bring such a creative eye and uniqueness to their work. We LOVE our wedding photos! They were the best investment that we made for our wedding and I wish we could go back and do it all over again! Hire them now before they are booked on your date you won’t for a single second regret it! You will LOVE them!

Steph Sent on 01/30/2018Professional, courteous, and a blast to work with throughout, Mariah and Trish are certainly the dynamic duo of wedding photographers that we loved working with and highly recommend to anyone looking talented, knowledgeable, and positive-minded photographers for their wedding day. A series of brainstorming sessions full of laughter and whimsical at their offices, narrowing down the details as to the photos we kindly asked to be taken during the first-look and later after the ceremony during the cocktail hour (and with any vendor we would recommend that you be specific as possible and convey succinctly in writing what it is you’re looking for and want), Mariah and Trish, having familiarity with our venue, were able to keep things well organized on our wedding day. They captured the best perspectives while also putting to great use the natural light and lens flares, all the while keeping our 2-year-old, precocious niece occupied and happy throughout the photography shoots. That says a lot and that takes a lot when having to deal with multiple, somewhat un-attentive family members and friends as well. The after-shots we received within about 2 to 3 months after the event were well organized and breath-takingly awesome, easy to view, download, and share with family and friends on the internet. A first-cut of our ordered album shortly thereafter. We are certainly pleased with choosing Mariah and Trish and would do so again in a heart-beat.

Elena Sent on 12/17/2011We have beautiful beautiful wedding pictures. I am so happy we chose Snap! Photography. It is one of our most memorable and money well spent decisions for our wedding. I love the blog that they posted. The only complaint I have is our disk is taking too long to receive, and its a little too late to order our first holiday cards. But I hightly hightly recommend Snap! if you can budget for them.
