Our Daughter’s Wedding Day

We could not have asked for a better caterer than the Smokehouse Grill for our Daughter’s Wedding Day. So many of our guests kept coming up to us through our the reception to say how exceptional the food was and that the staff was so friendly. We also selected the upscale liquor package and the bartenders were great and the drinks were awesome. Everyone had such a great time and the Smokehouse Grill had a huge part in making our reception such a special experience. I can’t say enough great things about them and if you are looking to have a top notch catering experience for your special day you should definitely have the Smokehouse Grill take care of your event.

Excellent catering services!!

My family has used smokehouse for multiple events in the past and they were a no-brainer for best bbq for my wedding (10/26/2024). Their staff is so professional and efficient. They worked with me to stay in budget while still making sure I was able to include the whole roasted pig! They have a mac and cheese bar and I think that was the most popular food amongst the guests! I will always consider them for family events.

made our daughter's wedding INCREDIBLE!!

Our experience with Steven and his team at Smokehouse could not have been better!!! The whole experience from the tasting, to the menu selection, to the quotes, changes and additions, to the actual event, was amazing. We changed our minds about things so many times and Steven could not have been more accommodating....and NICE!!! The couple wanted some unusual requests and they made sure it all happened smoothly. They also did so many upgrades and special touches that were totally above and beyond.
I can not recommend them highly enough!

Great experience with wedding catering

We chose Smokehouse to cater out wedding, and we're super happy we chose them. Very professional right out of the gate, and flexible with menu choices. All of our guests loved the food, and we got many compliments from both guests and church staff. We'd 100% use them for another event in the future.

Great Vendor

We had a great experience with Smokehouse Grill. Our original caterer for one of wedding events was dragging their feet and we knew we needed someone more reliable as our caterer for our event. In the 9th hour we reached out to Smokehouse Grill who came in to save our event. They were so easy to work with and have such a great set up! The food was amazing and the bartenders were great. Would definitely recommend again!

A big part of our best day ever!

I cannot say enough about The Smokehouse Grill! We hired them to cater our wedding and they went above and beyond to make sure our special day was flawless.
During the day of their staff was prompt, professional, and did an outstanding job. Table set up was beautiful and exactly the way I wanted it. The extra attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Food was DELICIOUS; all of our family and friends were very complimentary about our menu choices. Everyone left our wedding happy and full.
Leading up to the big day and throughout the planning process, communication was top notch and all my questions were answered/addressed in a timely manner. Excellent customer service, flexibility, and help with organizing which was so amazing to have.
Additionally, we decided to have a 'dry' wedding and took the suggestion to provide their signature mocktails which was an absolute hit!
I highly recommend using these guys for your big event and am so happy I choose The Smokehouse Grill. Thank you guys for your part in our best day ever!

Amazing vendor

Smokehouse Grill was absolutely amazing. From start to finish of our wedding process they were so attentive, kind, and willing to help us create our vision. We received so many compliments on the food and service from our wedding. They gave us elegant bbq- which is hard to pull of in our opinion. Thank you Tammy and Steve for being you and being so dedicated to your weddings. You are an amazing group of people!

Amazing caterer

My husband and I used Smokehouse Grill for our wedding and WOW what a great choice! The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and all our rentals were great! Great Service & Great Food!

We booked Smokehouse Grill for our wedding and they did not disappoint! Tammy and Steven are a great pair and work with their couples on every detail from linens, to cocktail hour, to dinner, and even drink service!

They made everything flow seamlessly throughout the day! Steven even made sure to provide our groomsmen with some drinks while they were getting ready (& to calm their nerves, haha!). Their entire staff was so beyond friendly, making sure we had everything we needed and making sure everything was cleaned up!

Their staff passed around our wedding favors before our guests were welcomed into the reception (Personalized pouches of Big League Chew!), brought appetizers from Cocktail Hour into the Bridal Suite for the entire bridal party before and during photos, and constantly made sure the bride and groom were fed and happy! Their bartending staff was also fantastic and kept the drinks flowing all night long.

Did we mention how awesome our tables looked with their place settings and linens? Gorgeous!

Overall, our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious the food was and how friendly the entire Smokehouse Grill staff was. We highly recommend booking them for your wedding - you won't be disappointed.

Best BBQ , people are still raving about it.
We hired Smokehouse for our wedding and they went above and beyond. Their patience and attention to detail was so comforting especially while planning a wedding during COVID.

Delicious food!

We got so many compliments on the delicious BBQ from Smokehouse Grill. It was one of the things everyone was talking about the next day! Tammy was very accommodating throughout the planning process. We loved that we could hire a local caterer located right up the road from our venue. Smokehouse cooked everything on site and served the buffet in a covid-friendly way. Thank you Smokehouse!

Amazing Eastern Shore Caterer

Smokehouse Grill catered our wedding on October 10, 2020. The experience they offered us was above and beyond anything we could have dreamed of. The stress of planning a wedding during COVID is tough and Tammy and Steve were on top of all the guidelines and precautions necessary to make our wedding a fairytale. We used Smokehouse for both our bar and food service. We chose a buffet style service that included eastern shore crab dip, assorted cheese, fruit and vegetables, garden salad, chicken Chesapeake, a top round of beef with au jus and horseradish, buttery green beans, and dill roasted red potatoes. The food was cooked on site, fresh and delicious. Tammy even made sure to serve us dinner first so we could eat while our guests went through the food station line. We had so many compliments from our guests regarding the wonderful meal and quick bar service. It is always the little things that make a difference. Tammy and Steve were always available, gave fast responses, and have the ability to calm stressed brides (speaking from experience). I knew from day one we were in good hands with Smokehouse Grill and I could trust this wonderful small business to do what they do best. Thank you, Steve and Tammy, for making our day so memorable. You two and your staff are AMAZING!

Amazing Service All Around

Please bare with me as this will be a long one, but they deserve it! Tammy and Steven at Smokehouse Grill are absolutely amazing, along with their entire staff! We were a COVID wedding from start to (finally) finish, originally scheduled for late April 2020, we had to reschedule to early Nov. 2020, and they made it a breeze! They were so accommodating and receptive to what we needed during the date change, as well as all our number changes and menu changes throughout the whole process. It was so refreshing to work with a company that truly cared about what you needed from them. At both our tasting and wedding, they were extremely professional, polite and fun to work with. They came into the wedding knowing exactly what was expected from them and executed it 100%. While they have worked with our venue before, it was amazing to know we hired caterers that knew exactly where to set up and what to do the moment they stepped on the property. And to top if all off, they have the most AMAZING food! My husband is from the Eastern Shore of MD and we lived in Texas for a while, so he's a bit of a seafood and BBQ snob, but after our wedding, he couldn't stop raving about their lump crab balls and pulled pork. He was obsessed! We didn't get to spend as much time at our cocktail hour as we would have liked, but we DEFENITELY got to taste the food. The lump crab balls and chicken skewers were fantastic! We chose an upscale BBQ menu for our wedding reception dinner and everyone was so impressed. We had people commenting on how much they loved the food the whole week after the wedding. We originally tasted the chicken and prime rib menu, but after attending one of their events in Kent Island and tasting their BBQ, we deiced to go with the BBQ menu to give our guests a wider variety of food options for the night of the wedding. It truly was a hard decision between both menus that we went back and forth on on a daily basis, but, either way we knew we would end up with amazing food, and we did. We both had those wedding night jitters that make you not want to eat, and despite that, we both ate almost all the food on our plates because it was so good that we couldn't stop. Smokehouse Grill is truly the best catering company in the area that you can hire for your wedding.
To Tammy, Steven and all of Smokehouse Grill, Thank You! You truly helped make the most out of a crazy situation of a wedding and your food was delicious! We can't wait for our next big event to hire you again!

Smooth Sailing on Kent Island with Smokehouse Grill!

Trying to hold a wedding and rehearsal dinner in midst of a pandemic is quite a challenge but we used Smokehouse Grill for the rehearsal dinner and they did everything we wanted and made the entire experience easy. The food was amazing, the servers, bartender, chef and oyster shuckers were all so friendly and incredibly responsive. Steve and Tammy, the owners, couldn't have been easier to coordinate with -- would use them again in a heartbeat!!!

Top Notch Caterer

Smokehouse Grill LLC in Stevensville, MD catered our wedding last week (10.10.2020) and I have to say they were beyond incredible. First let’s start off by saying that Steve was prompt and made sure he got to our venue early since our wedding had so many moving parts. He was so easy to work with and kept in touch on a regular basis whenever we had questions or concerns. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. For our appetizers we had the mini crab cakes. Probably the best I’ve ever had. They even hand delivered them to us to make sure they were still warm when we ate them. For our main course we had the prime rib and Caribbean chicken as our main dishes and every guest told us how amazing they both were. The staff was wonderful as well. The bartenders were on point and extremely attentive. They made sure we always had a drink in our hand and were happy with what it was. Smokehouse Grill went above and beyond to make everything perfect. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you Tammy and Steve for making our day perfect!

Armstrong Wedding

The Smokehouse Grill catered our wedding on September 26th. Their food is amazingly delicious and the staff was super nice! I dealt with Tammy and Steven and they were very responsive, helpful and very great to work with despite covid. We got the upscale BBQ package and the food was amazing! Our guests raved about how great the food was and the price you cannot beat!! If you are looking for a catering, I highly recommend them!! 5 stars from us!! Thanks again Tammy and Steven! best crab cake ever!!

If I could give Smokehouse grill more stars I would! Their food is incredible, especially the crab cakes (maybe the best I’ve ever eaten)! All of our guests at our wedding were raving about their apps and dinner! Their staff was incredible and nice to work with. Smokehouse definitely helped make our wedding day very special! Great service and amazing food!

We used Smokehouse Grill to cater our wedding reception as a buffet style service. From the beginning, Smokehouse Grill was very organized and their communication was great. We worked mostly with Tammy and she was fantastic through the entire process. We unfortunately had to reschedule our wedding from May to September because of COVID. They worked with us through all of that and answered all of my overly concerned questions. We got everything figured out for the new date really quickly and they sent us a new contract with the new date which was comforting since some vendors did not change the contracts and I was worried that the date change might not be fully noted. On the day of, they showed up on time and got everything ready with little assistance. The food was delicious and I got so many compliments on how great everything was and how hot the food was even toward the end of the buffet service. We definitely didn't run our food so the serving sizes were spot on for the amount of people we estimated. Since COVID was still a concern, they made changes to their normal procedure in order to follow state COVID guidelines. The staff was great about wearing masks and serving the food to everyone. They also had a sanitation spot so guests could sanitize their hands too. The staff even brought my husband and I our own plates with a little bit of everything on it so we could eat and did not have to go through the buffet line. A small gesture that really made a big difference, saved us some time and made sure we actually got food and ate. I cannot thank Tammy enough for the amazing food, great service and making our special day go flawlessly. I would definitely recommend Smokehouse Grill for any event.

Amazing BBQ!!

Smokehouse grill was phenomenal for our wedding on 9.4.2020! We needed to rebook catering and a venue within a month of our wedding and they were extremely helpful, flexible, and extremely responsive during the whole process. Our guests RAVED about how amazing the food and drinks were. If you’re looking for a great BBQ caterer for your wedding you should definitely hire them!!

Highly Recommend!

we used smokehouse grill for our wedding this past weekend. the entire process of working with tammy and her staff was amazing from the very beginning. tammy was very responsive to all of my emails and jumped on a call with me whenever i needed to run through things with her.

the day of, the organization by her and her team was out of this world. she was flexible in how i wanted things set up, i got many compliments from people saying it was the best wedding food they ever had, and the entire reception ran smoothly.

i highly recommend smokehouse grill for any of your catering needs. they made our day perfect, and i will definitely be contacting them again for any future parties.

Amazing Caterers!

We could not have picked a better caterer for our wedding! The food and service was fantastic and we received so many compliments from guests about the delicious food and kind staff. Tammy went above and beyond her job requirements in so many ways. I got married outside a barn and it was VERY hot outside. Right before the ceremony started, one of my bridesmaids told me the caterers had put out coolers filled with bottles of water for guests. This was not in our contract and no one had requested it, but they took the time to help make our guests comfortable. The wind was also very strong right as I was about to walk down the aisle. Tammy ran over and adjusted the train of my dress for me when she saw me struggling. Her staff also took the time to help the bridal party light candles in the venue without a second thought. These kind gestures were so important and special to my husband and I! During the wedding planning process, hiring Smokehouse Grill was one of the best choices we made and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

Wedding Caterer

Smokehouse Grill catered our wedding a couple weeks ago and I am so glad we chose them as our vendor! I mainly corresponded with Tammy, and occasionally Steven, who were both always very quick to answer any questions we had. Even if we had an oddly specific question or request, they were very thorough with everything and always checked back with us to make sure that everything had been understood correctly. Smokehouse Grill had two main selling points for us. The first was that they are able to cook on-site. Because our venue did not have a kitchen, this was important to me because I wanted to have food that tasted as fresh as possible. Plus, man did it smell amazing as we were getting ready! The second thing is that you are able to customize the type of menu you would like. While there are set “menus,” Smokehouse Grill is very flexible in creating an a la carte situation so that we had exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. They also provide linens which was super helpful, and they have a variety of colors and textures to choose from. Another plus is that they provide a cleanup service and take all the trash with them. From what I heard after my husband and I left, cleanup was quick and efficient and they took care of everything! Tammy and the entire Smokehouse team were super friendly and fun during the wedding day and I cannot even tell you how many people told us that it was the best wedding food they ever had. The barbecue is awesome, and their sides compliment everything very well (the mac and cheese is AMAZING). I would recommend Smokehouse Grill to anyone who needs a caterer- you will not be disappointed!

Amazing vendor!

Smokehouse grill was the perfect vendor for my wedding day! The staff went above and beyond the whole day for us! The staff made sure my now husband and I were never without a drink or food if needed! The food and drinks were amazing as well and we are still receiving compliments a month later on the food served! Couldn’t recommend them enough, Smokehouse grill made our wedding day so relaxing and easy!

Steve and Tammy are so easy to work with. Steve was our main point of contact for the year that we were planning our wedding and he is so kind and great at what he does. I had A LOT of questions as we were going along and he always emailed me back very quickly or was available to talk on the phone. He made sure we had exactly what we needed as far as our tent, rentals, linens, etc. He really thought of everything so I didn't have to. The food was delicious and everyone had such a fun time at our wedding. I would recommend Steve and Tammy to any couple without a doubt!! Thank you guys!!

Absolutely Awesome

All that is probably needed to say in a review is that I will use Smokehouse Grill again (and again, and again……). Steve, Tammy and staff catered our daughter’s outdoor wedding in September, 2018, 140 guests, huge tent, days and days of rain (did I mention the wedding was on coastal property on Maryland’s Eastern shore, guests sitting in and walking in puddles and mud). From the first email inquiring about price, product, availability, etc. to them silently packing up and leaving the property, Smokehouse Grill was helpful, nice, professional and courteous. Through the planning process Steve gave us a lot of great advise that really helped. Being able to just deal with one place for catering and a tent made life so much easier. The weather sucked, the ground was under water but the food, alcohol and service were awesome. Many of the guests complemented the quality and taste of the food and asked for the name of the caterer. The Smokehouse Grill is Outstanding

My husband and I hosted a BBQ at a park in Annapolis to honor the wedding of our son and his new bride in July 2018. After reading many different reviews, I decided to book with Smokehouse Grill. We had a bar-b-q/crab feast for about 100 people the day after a wedding & reception.
Smokehouse was on site 3 hours before the event, cooking and steaming! The four guys they sent to handle the event worked all day and they truly MADE the event pleasurable for us. If you want a catering experience where you don't lift a finger, give these folks a try.
OH, and the food?! Off the chain! People said it was better than the wedding/reception the day before! Of course being the grooms father I was happy with those comments!
If you're planning an event, it would behoove you to take a look at these folks!

We hired Smokehouse Grill to provide food and beverage service for our outdoor wedding/barbecue. Steven and Tammy Holden were easy to work with through the entire planning and production phases. The staff grilled onsite, preparing pit beef, barbecued chicken, pulled pork, and Italian sausage. Guests raved about the quality of the food: "Phenomenal" "Wonderful" "Great" "Tastes like homemade." We are so thankful we hired The Smokehouse Grill for our daughter and son in laws wedding 7/15/2017. The food was amazing. Steve his wife Tammy and all the crew were outstanding. Someone else commented ghost crew because they were always there but never in the way. Anything we needed or asked they were on it, but I don't think we needed anything it was already taken care of. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this professional, easy to work with caterer any time. If we ever need a caterer again this will be a no brainer. Steve and Tammy are delightful to work with. They are very experienced and were able to answer all my questions and keep me on track making sure I had thought of everything. Steve and Tammy are by far the easiest two to work with when it comes to catering large events. From the moment we walked in the door to meet them all the way up to the event they where able to make everything so easy. They have a great understanding of weddings and how the day of goes. They where able to answer all of my questions and give great advise. Smokehouse catered out wedding of over 200 people and also our rehersal dinner the night before. They handled everything from tents, tables and linens all the way up to food and alcohol. Our guest are still calling me everyday wondering who catered the event and how amazing the food and service was. They are easy to talk to and get a long with. I will say that they don't take any crap and get it done the way we wanted. I will be using them again and letting everyone I know to use them. They are worth the time and money.

This vendor is very experienced and has "done it all" in terms of casual to high end events so regardless of what style or range of event you are planning, they can make it happen. Smokehouse Grill was by far the BEST decision we made for our wedding! Steve and Tammy were helpful every step along the way of the planning process from doing a detailed computer layout of our reception area to coordinating with a separate dessert vendor to deliver our desserts. Not only did they help make the planning process run smoothly, but the service and food on the actual wedding day was AMAZING. They went out of their way to do extra little details that made our day that much more special. We are still receiving compliments from our guests on the quality of both the food and service. This place was amazing. They gave us a food tasting before so we were able to sample the quality of cooking and it was great. We decided to do a BBQ and Pig Roast for the wedding and they were very accommodating and even allowed us to switch out a main dish for an extra side. The day of, they needed very little direction, they cooked on site, they cleaned up after and left the food wrapped up for us to take over. For weeks after the wedding, people were telling me how good the food was and the roast beef and the roasted pig were AMAZING. The meat was juicy and flavorful and the corn bread was some of the best I have ever had. The people who set up and cooked the day of our wedding was wonderful and Tammy who helped us coordinate was accommodating and always easy to get a hold of or quick to get back to us. They also didn't charge extra because we were a wedding which is rare in the planning process, I found out. Highly recommended to me and I pass on that high recommendation!

Steven and Tammy made sure my daughter's wedding reception was a fairytale come true. From the initial tasting to the clean up at end of the night, couldn't have been more perfect on every level. We discovered Smokehouse while visiting their waterfront property on Kent Island and never tried another caterer! Our wedding was September 27th, 2015 and I am still getting compliments on how wonderful the food and drinks were. Steve, you were absolutely wonderful from day one! You were honest when we discussed our plans with you and you helped us make some very important decisions about our wedding. Now, lets talk about the food... The food was AMAZING!!!! The open bar and our signature drink (peach sangria) were also amazing! Not one detail was overlooked with your food and presentation. We wanted a buffet style BBQ and you went above and beyond in giving it to us. Prior to our first dance you had appetizers and fresh drinks already on our sweetheart table so we could grab a few bites. After our first dance and father daughter dances we came back to our sweetheart table to find two overstuffed plates of everything on our buffet line and fresh drinks, you are the reason we ate that night which made the morning after not so bad, LOL. Every time I turned around you or your staff was making sure we were taken care of. You even ended up bringing Stella for April, knowing that she decided on IPA but really didn't want to drink IPA all night. I actually stopped several times throughout the night and was just shocked at how attentive you and your staff were. You accommodated my lack of counting for tables and when I needed extra table clothes you were able to make it work by taking them from the app display, which was awesome. My only wish is that I would be able to eat the food again without all of the chaos and mayhem going on around us, I know it was fantastic but I feel like I missed out because we were just so involved in reception details that I did not savor it. I purposely shoved food in my mouth so I could enjoy our peach sangria without suffering for it later! Steve, you and your staff were truly amazing. From helping us set up our chairs at our tables to helping me pull our mason jars out of the boxes and set them up on the table...you went above and beyond.

I cannot say enough good things about the Smokehouse Grill, who catered our daughter's outdoor wedding this month. From day one they were organized, professional and helpful, prompt to respond and to make suggestions if needed. The day of our daughter's wedding their set up (while we were still at church) was on time and exactly what we had requested. The servers were professional and friendly. And the barbeque - oh my, it was delicious, better than we could ever have expected. Best of all for the father of the bride (ie. the one paying the bills), most of the options we chose were gluten free (he has celiac disease) and he could feast to his heart's content. We highly recommend the Smokehouse Grill!

I don't even know where to begin.......choosing Smokehouse Grill & Matapeake Beach & Clubhouse was the best decision I ever made for our wedding. It went from a typical beach wedding with food to an absolutely best DREAM wedding ever! Steve, Tammy and the entire staff was great to work with. They worked around us - and were very accommodating. Great personalities too! I would HIGHLY recommend this event to anyone thinking of getting married that wanted a water type setting. Steve never even tried to up sell items...glad we went to the venue the week before to see someone else had rented fans. And even a week out - Smokehouse Grill was able to add the fans for our event - and so glad as it was hot! Food was very good too! Oh and unbelievable sunset - I cannot wait to get out pics back.

We have used Smokehouse Grill on several occasions over the past three years and have found them to be the best in service, quality of food and quantity of food. Other caterers have run out of food before the parties ended causing great embarrassment. With Smokehouse we always have food left over.

We have had a few outdoor parties where rain has interrupted the event and their staff helped us move our tables and chairs inside going above and beyond.

Smokehouse Grill was amazing to work with. They provided all our food for the rehearsal dinner where over 200 people enjoyed a crab feast and crawfish boil. They also provided apps for cocktail hour for our wedding day. Steven and team were great to work with and I highly recommend them for any event you plan on having. His service was excellent and he made sure my special day went off without a hitch.

These guys were great to work with. Food was awesome and everything went very smoothly. We were even offered the chance to add heaters up to the day before the event. Definitely recommend their service (try the bbq beef!)

Two words for Smokehouse Grill. Absolutely Perfect! My daughter scheduled her wedding for June 11, 2011. We live on the Chesapeake Bay and arranged through Tammy and Steve of Smokehouse Grill to cater and provide all services. The tent for 120 went up on June 9th and because of a severe storm, came down on June 10th. I called Tammy and advised that the tent had collapsed. Tammy's response "Don't worry. We'll make it perfect". That they did! My daughter's wedding was PERFECT. The food was fantastic - prime rib and crab cakes. EVERY SINGLE guest was absolutely delighted. Everything was prepared fresh and onsite. Tammy and Steve think of, and take care of, every single detail. I am the mother of a very happy bride. Thank you Tammy and Steve. See you in four years when Daughter #2 graduates from college!

We used The Smokehouse Grill for a picnic (we had a destination wedding and held this picnic to celebrate). The communication was great before the event and I really appreciated the menu adjustments that we were able to make. All of our friends and family complimented the food. Several people even mentioned that they were considering using them to cater an event in the future. There was tons of food leftover (not sure if you get to keep the leftovers for a regular wedding reception) and we are still eating it! Everything was excellent. I can't recommend The Smokehouse Grill enough!

In response to the review by Jill As always there is 2 side to every story.
I think the best way to approch her review is to state the facts.
She had about 30 people more than she paid for at her reception (totaling 250 people)
She never padded her numbers,she infact did not have enough tables or chairs for the extra guests whocomplained to us there was no where to sit, We approchedher with the problem and her response was less then helpfull as she stated "ohwell its my wedding day" She did not pad the china either as she ran out of plates and flatware and once again her guests complained to us as they did not have forks or even a plate to eat off of.
As far as the food running out, this was not the case at all, weddings are not "all you can eat" and when you try to coordinate your own wedding without atimeline for service you will set yourself up for a disasterus reception everytime. And this is exactly what happen. she had no set time for anything, her guests came to the buffet in no orderly fashion and speratic through the coarse of 2 hours,and eating more than once which caused the shortage of plates and food. She provided her own bar service as well but expected us to clean the table trash from the bar service, she never paid for "extra" staff for anything she paid for a catering service for 225 people and included in the price was 6 staff members. The lesson to be learned here..
do not try to cut corners by renting your own china , or coordinate your own reception expecially without a timeline and then trying to rip off the caterer by inviting more guests than what you paid for, and expecting the caterer to clean china that was not rented through them. We did infact clean all the tables free of the china and placed the china back in the crates she rented. She even had the audasity to call and complain that she was charged by her rental company a cleaning fee for returning the china without rinsing it off, and wanted us to pay for it , once again lesson to learn here is if you rent it,you are responsable for it , dont expect the caterer to do anything they are not getting paid to do.

She decided to coordinate her own reception as well as rent all the china from another vendor as well as the tables chairs etc.

Steve and Tammy Holden are amazing! Their whole team was fantastic. We used them to cater our rehearsal and wedding, including rentals and wedding planning. Tammy made our entire event happen, and Steve was available the entire year I planned the wedding. There staff was professional, provided great service and there was never a line for the bar! The food was to die for, both nights and at such a great cost. We did a lot of comparison shopping and this was not only the best service for the price, but the best service I have experienced. I am still in contact with Steve and Tammy a month after my wedding- I feel I made two great friends in the process. What a relief to be a bride who could enjoy every moment, they made this a stress free event. I recommend Smokehouse grill for ANY event!! Thanks again Smokehouse!! what a flawless wedding we had!

I really wanted to bring a casual, picnic feel to the wedding and nothing did that better than a tasty BBQ on-site. The Smokehouse Grill was endlessly patient with me while I ironed out the details of my guestlist and menu. They were on-time, professional and make some damn fine BBQ. There was waaaayyyy more food than I paid for, so there was never a risk of running out of anything no matter how much my guests hogged away. They were reasonably priced and provided awesome service!

The Smokehouse Grill was wonderful. They helped in aspects I didn't even ask for. Steven covered everything for me and really took the stress aspect out of the wedding. The food was excellent as were the staff. They were a great help at the wedding. I would gladly reccomend them to anyone.

Smokehouse Grill provided excellent professional services for our family reunion picnic.
Every one was professional and courteous. Tammy was perfect in making sure that our catered event was a smashing success. The food was excellent with generous portions and lots of food leftover. The roast pig was amazing and was the center of attention. On behalf of the Fontaine family I would like to Smokehouse Grill for a very fine job. I have been meaning to write to you and let you know how wonderful the food was for our daughter's baby shower on April 5. Not only were the meats absolutely delicious but the cold salads were great too! Usually cole slaw and potato salad are bland and not very good but that was definitely not the case with your homemade salads. They were GREAT!

We had many people ask where the food came from so I'm sure you'll have some future business coming your way. We will definitely keep you in mind for our future events.

You and Tammy were so easy to work with despite my last minute requests and complete craziness. Thank you again for making our shower a huge success with a meal to remember!

I want to share my great experience with the Smokehouse Grill because this caterer went above and beyond to deliver excellent food and service. The Filet Mignon was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the crab cakes were full of top quality crab meat with little filler. I received many complements about the dinner from my guests. The small plate appetizers were a nice addition in the cocktail hour.. The open bar provided friendly service with experienced bartenders. Tammy and Steve were transparent with services and pricing throughout the planning. They arrived at the venue and closed up on time. The staff was quiet, professional and clean. They were exceptional for the wedding and I would hire again for other events.

Great Experience

The cooks and servers they sent to cook on premises were wonderful to work the day of the occasion. It was wonderful and everyone said the food was wonderful. It was extremely hot the day of the party and all the hard work done by all was appreciated. Thank you to all.

100th Anniversary

American Legion Post 278 hired Smokehouse Grill to provide a pig roast for our 100th year anniversary picnic. The entre experience was great. Customer Service was outstanding. The owners contact me while they were on vacation to work on the details. We will definitely work with Smokehouse Grill for our next large function.

The food, however, far outshine my initial concerns over the responsiveness. People raved about the food! From the second guests arrived, they could smell all of the delicious smokehouse cooking. We had pit beef, bbq chicken, ribs, salmon, pulled pork, hot dogs, hamburgers, pasta salad, garden salad, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes for around $30/person, including service fees etc. There was even a TON of leftover food at the end of the evening.

The catering staff the day of our wedding was incredible! They brought food to the head table and discretely invited tables up to eat. I was so happy with the day of service, they really exceeded my expectations with their professionalism and quality service.

So overall, I am happy with our catering choice. I think the value was phenomenal for the food and day of service that we received!

Price was good, guests were very happy with the food. Cooperative regarding a guest's special dietary restrictions. Tammy was on hand to make sure things went right.

I am completely amazed at all of the good reviews. We had a terrible experience with the Smokehouse Grill. They sold themselves as being very professional and experienced. This was definitely not the case. They ran out of food and our guests had to wait in line 20+ minutes for them to cook more. They argued that this was not their fault and said our guests were eating too much and accused us of having more guests than we paid for (we actually padded our number to make sure we would have plenty of food). We paid for additional staff so they would be able to easily clear dishes for the large number of people and I later found out that guests were clearing their own dishes. In the end, people were fed. And that's basically the only good thing I can say about the service we received. My best advice would be to find someone else.

Horrible. They lie and tell you whatever you want and then you sign the contract and they take everything back. Unless you get what you want in writing, walk away. They treat you like crap and yell at their customers. Too bad because their food was good.
