It didn't take me long to decide to go with Smoke in the Hills because their reviews were excellent and my niece, a chef, told me their prices are reasonable. They did not disappoint! The staff was very helpful in helping me to determine our needs, delivery was right on time, and the food was excellent! -

We received many compliments on the dinner. Healthy portions and smoked to perfection. The brisket was amazing and the sides were delicious. Instead of serving cake, we did a dessert table. All of the desserts were wonderful and cut into perfect size portions.Smoke in the Hills BBQ's reply:

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Smoke in the Hills Catering for our event, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, the team was a dream to work with—so professional, friendly, and attentive to every detail.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was packed with flavor, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. The variety, the presentation, and the quality were all top-notch. Whether it was the smoky barbecue or the perfectly seasoned sides, everything was a hit.
But it wasn’t just about the food—the team behind Smoke in the Hills really made our event special. They were warm, accommodating, and genuinely seemed to care about making our celebration a success. Their passion for what they do really shines through in the food and service.

I run a large fundraising gala and Smoke in the Hills delivered again for us this year!! Our guests raved at the delicious chicken caprese with green beans and homemade garlic mashed potatoes. There food is beautiful to look at too! Working with their team is very easy and they are so flexible that they literally delivered to our venue as we have volunteers that serve. Thank you Kelly, Brad and Lisa! We could not do this event without you!!! -

Perfect caterer for a party of 165 people!
I love that they hire local students to help serve and work the functions. The staff was polite, friendly and very helpful! The food was wonderful! Everyone raved about how yummy it was! It was fresh and flavorful! We will use them again for our parties!Smoke in the Hills BBQ's reply:

Our wedding was on Nov. 4th 2023 and Smoke In The Hills, they were an essential part to our day. The food was a huge hit! We did cocktail hour apps, main course dessert and even a late night snack with them. Kelly and her husband and their team are incredible. Everything was excellent and we had so many compliments on the food. Please book them for events!! -

It was a pleasure working with Smoke in the Hills BBQ at our last event! They were nothing short of amazing! They were professional, courteous, and very efficient. The food was absolutely delicious, well prepared, and beautifully presented! It was service with a smile and you could literally taste the love in the food!

Smoke In the Hills was one of our best decisions for our son’s wedding! We used them for both the rehearsal dinner and the reception and both nights were flawlessly executed and the food was delicious! Once you meet with Kelly, you immediately know that she has it together and your event will be a tremendous success, at least in terms of catering! She brings plenty of staff with her, so there were no lines of people waiting on food either night! Food was hot and delicious, and served on time. We were able to enjoy ourselves, confident that our guests were well taken care of! Do yourself a favor and book a meeting and tasting with Kelly. Kelly was a dream to work with, her and her team have their meals down to a science and they are great at taking care of buisness in a professional but conscientious way. The food came just as advertised and was as delicious as you can imagine from their pictures! I would recommend the chocolate rasberry mousse dessert, if you are doing a full course meal! -

I planned a wedding for April of 2020 and when Covid-19 happened I had to postpone it. Kelly was very helpful and accommodating when I had to reschedule my wedding. Both Kelly and her husband were very professional and helpful, from the first tasting we had, to their professional recommendations on other vendors and all the way up to the wedding day. Kelly always responded in a very timely manner when I had questions. On the day of the wedding, they were on time, for everyone through the buffet line quick and brought mine and my husbands food to our table before anyone else got their food. We received countless compliments on how good the food was and couldn’t be happier with our choice to do business with them. -

Smoke in the Hills is the best privately owned caterer you will ever know! Kelly and her family are so sweet! I loved the face it was a family owned business and we were supporting local! The BBQ was seriously the best and all my guest wanted seconds! My sister in law (a vegetarian for 13 years) ate an entire plate it was sooo good!!! We had Smoke In the Hills cater our outdoor wedding with cocktail hour appetizers and a buffet dinner. We were able to sample everything and pick our menu ahead of time. The food is delicious and priced well. The service at the wedding was seamless and professional. Fast server line, great table bussing and clean up. They were so sweet and had the sweetheart table filled up with our plates the moment we got to the reception for dinner after the cocktail hour photos. They also left us plenty of packaged leftovers, which we appreciated. I would definitely hire again!Smoke in the Hills BBQ's reply:

Jackie Sent on 03/01/2018We absolutely love Kelly, Brad, family and crew! I first met kelly when I had them cater my sons wedding last year. A few months ago I placed a smaller order for my DIL’s baby shower, and just last weekend they catered my Daughter’s wedding! I literally messaged Kelly a week before the wedding and asked if there was any way possible because I knew it was very late notice.. she said they had 2 other weddings that evening, but they would be able to cater our wedding as well! That is service! Not only is the food always delicious! But what keeps me going back to them is that they are just great people! Very family oriented.. always on time, Great service ! They are just all around wonderful and good people! And the food really is amazing!

She was a delight to work with and all of her team was super polite, helpful and gracious. All of our guests wanted me to know how nice all of the vendors were.
