Smithview is fantastic to work with not just as a bride but also as a wedding professional! For my big day they went above and beyond and throughout the process answered my constant questions. My husband and I could not be happier with how our wedding turned out! When I work at Smithview as a Wedding Coordinator they are always great with communication and help with anything and everything! The Pavilion space is beautiful and romantic. A couple can decorate as much or as little as they would like, and the venue would still be gorgeous and unique!!!

Fantastic venue
The setting is breath taking. The iconic old bridge for wedding photos was outstanding! The ceremony by the creek outdoors with the wooden arbor was the prefect combination for a beautiful wedding. From start to finish the Smith event center staff was very attentive to our needs and made my daughters wedding one we will never forget! I would definitely recommend Smith Event Center to anyone!

Great Venue!
I loved working with Smith Event Centers. My specific wedding planner is no longer with this venue, but I had a great experience working with each person there. They were so helpful and encouraging. This venue was everything I had ever imagined for my wedding. I can't thank them enough!!

Couldn't Have Picked a Better Venue
The venue was absolutely beautiful! The layout and decorations were stunning and had a very romantic look, and the bridal suite was gorgeous! There's a creek on the property right behind where the arbor is, they've got a beautiful patio with cafe lights, a fire pit, and so much more. The way everything was set up was perfect. The owner and coordinator were lovely to work with. They were flexible meeting with me and communicating with me, which I really appreciated. They were very accommodating and my wedding turned out to be my dream wedding. Our day ran smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing! We had a blast. Thanks, Smithview, for creating my dream wedding! :) I really couldn't have picked a better venue to get married at.

Smithview Pavillion is a must!
We toured Smithview Pavilion two weeks after our engagement. Lisa (the owner) was courteous to meet us on a weekend as our schedules didn’t allow to meet on a weekday. She was ready as soon as we arrived and greeted us with a welcoming smile. Lara (the coordinator/planner) was setting up for a wedding, and we briefly spoke. As soon as our detailed tour was complete I knew this was the place we were going to get married. Even through Covid, Lisa kept us updated and helped with any questions we had. They were gracious enough for our pups to come on the property for our day. Lara set up the reception and ceremony so beautifully, more than I could have dreamed of for our wedding. If anything went wrong, I had no idea because she was THAT on it. You cannot go wrong with Smithview. They genuinely CARE about you. You are not just a contract and a transaction to them. They know this is where your journey of marriage begins and make it so special. I can’t say enough beautiful things about this extraordinary venue. I’ve received at least 15-20 compliments on the ceremony, reception, and the flowers. You HAVE to use their florist. Bethany will make your dreams come true with her creativity. This company is just amazing. I wish we could do it all over again.

Amazing place and people
The pavilion is gorgeous, as well as the grounds around it. They have a few options for ceremony sites, which is always nice! It could also match several wedding styles. Everyone who works there was so pleasant. I have nothing but good things to say. I highly recommend this venue! My wedding day was perfect!

Perfect venue for my daughter's wedding!
Smithview was the perfect place for my daughter to have her wedding, actually two weddings. The first one was with ten people and the second one was the big ceremony and reception. Smithview was very accommodating with the COVID-19 situation. Beautiful venue and beautiful people - Smithview!

Rainy, October Wedding
I could not be any happier with the Smithview Event Center staff, especially Lara (wedding planner/coordinator). We had to move our outdoor ceremony under the pavilion and it was seamless. Everything was gorgeous and I felt so at ease even when we found out about the weather changing the plans. Perfect Wedding at a Beautiful Venue
I got married on 10/12/19 at the Smithview Pavilion and it was everything I had ever dreamed of. The venue is absolutely stunning. We had our ceremony in the small cove near the pavilion and it was so dreamy. From the little creek that runs around the property to the gorgeous altar handmade from trees, this location was a perfect fit for a nature-lover like me. Their wedding coordinator, Lara, went above and beyond for us and made our day so much more special. If you're looking for a reasonably priced venue that will wow your guests, I would highly recommend checking this place out!

Great Experience
Recently married at Smithview on May 4. It was a great experience from start to finish. All the girls were so helpful and the day off went off smoothly, even with the crazy weather. It is a beautiful venue. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor venue this is the place!

Great place to have your wedding.
The venue is simply beautiful. Staff is wonderful- Especially Laura who was fantastic. Multiple places to exchange vows all great. Photos just give you an ideal of the size and privacy. Go there and check it out. I highly recommend this facility and staff (especially Laura).

Amazing Venue!!
Everyone was incredibly accommodating and easily accessible. As the first wedding of this season I was incredibly impressed with all of the updates that they made and the care that they took of the location prior to my wedding. Anything that I needed or wanted help with they were there - including during the wedding. I would recommend this venue to anyone! They also give the best flexibility I have seen among venues by allowing you to choose all of your own vendors.

When it came down to making a decision Smithview was our top choice, until it became a very large wedding and my fear of rain. Lisa is amazing at her job and will help in anyway she can to make your day amazing! They offer packages that include everything to make it easy on you. The inside room that they had was too small for us, but the out door pavilion is gorgeous I was just terrified it would rain, I would recommend this to any East TN bride! it really is beautiful!!

We got married March 17, 2018 at Smithview Pavilion, and it was absolutely perfect!! Our ceremony was outdoors, and the setting was gorgeous. The pavilion was perfect for our reception. Due to the beautiful setting, you barely have to do any setup/decorating. There is also a flower company on site, and they did a magnificent job on our flowers!
I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Smith Event Centers. They are always very responsive, which made planning long distance so easy (we live in Wisconsin). Jessica and Lara (coordinators) were there for anything we needed throughout the rehearsal and wedding day. They worked so hard to cover up all the mistakes made by our disastrous caterer (side note: avoid Great Smoky Mountain Catering Company aka Alvin’s Kitchen!). They went above and beyond to make sure our day was absolutely perfect!!!
This venue is beautiful, the staff is awesome, and it’s all worth every penny!

I had my wedding at the Life Event Center and it was the perfect location for my indoor wedding!! Perfect location in Maryville, and beautiful facilities! Lara Nuchols was amazing help on our day, without her the wedding really wouldn’t have came together as perfectly as it did! Smithview is a beautiful place to have any get together. We had our reception there and the staff was wonderful. They were very flexible with us and and what we needed them to do on our wedding day. Smithview Pavilion was an amazing place to get married and have our reception. They were great to work with and very fast on responding to emails. They also set up all the chairs and tables so we just had to decorate that morning. All of our guests were amazed at how beautiful the place was. It had a wide variety of places to take photos and to have the ceremony. They were very helpful and made our day run smooth. The flowers also turned out amazing. Everything looked just like we talked about and then some! Overall we are extremely happy we chose them for our venue and would recommend them to everyone.

I am beyond happy with our choice of going with Smith Event centers! The Pavilion was beyond expectations and the staff was wonderful. Lisa was there ANY time I had questions or concerns, I received so many calls and emails to keep up with me to make sure I was doing okay and to see if I needed any help with anything, I appreciated that so much. The venue offered so much and was too beautiful to pass up. The staff at the end of the night helped us clean up and were so nice. The team at Smithview made our day the BEST! It rained most the morning so we were not able to do the ceremony outside but Lara and Jessica set-up the pavilion beautifully to accommodate both ceremony and reception. Take into consideration the weather. Always have a back up plan. Thanks to Smith's that there was an event room available so we could move our event inside. The day of the event there were trees down in the area and bad weather approaching. They worked with us and we were able to have it inside.

Beautiful venue. The life event center was clean and updated. We had our wedding ceremony at the bridge and it was perfect! Such a gorgeous setting. It's their hidden gem!!

We had a beautiful wedding on the most perfect day at Smithview Pavilion. Lisa, Jessica, and the Smith Event Centers ladies were so accommodating throughout the planning process, calling me to check in from time to time and taking meetings with me on my out-of-town schedule. We had our wedding out under the trees in the cove and our reception under the Pavilion, and that worked perfectly for us. Also, having the kitchen there in the Pavilion was a great help to our caterer. Overall, it was the perfect setting for a beautiful day. Thank you, Smith Event Centers!

Be honest with what you want. They will tell you if they can do it and are very flexible. They spent so much time helping me arrange and rearrange tables, chairs, and decorations. No matter how many times we rearranged things, they were always cheerful and happy to assist. Out behind the venue, the grassy area and the bridge are wonderful for pictures. It really made my wedding day special.

Some friends and I planed an anniversary party with Smiths event Center. From start to finish Lisa, Jessica and Lara were so accommodating. We couldn't ask for better.The night of the event Cheryl was there as the onsite personnel, she too was top notch. I would recommend this venue to anyone planning a special event. These ladies are the best!

As a wedding professional myself I know first hand how great Smith Event centers is. So, when it came time for my wedding day I knew there was only once choice for my wedding venue, Smith Event Centers. Lisa and her entire staff are top notch, nothing goes to chance or slides by them. We had one bit of miscommunication and Lisa didn't waste a second to take care of it for us. My wife had never had a wedding before, so I wanted this to be special for her and Smith Event Centers made it beyond memorable.

I could not have pulled my wedding off without the help of Jessica!! We originally planned an outdoor wedding and for reasons out of their control, we had to move the ceremony about a week or so before the wedding day! This sounds very stressful but everyone at Smith event centers went above and beyond to make sure this move went smoothly!

The staff at Smith Events is amazing!! They were very easy to communicate with and always tried to help in any way possible. Jessica is wonderful and makes you feel like you are talking to a friend. They were very helpful in coming up with problem-solving ideas. I never felt like a hassle or burden. I could go on and on about how amazing working with Jessica and the whole Smithview team was. But I won't because it would take me pages and pages. I'll just share a few details. They were amazing to work with from the first inquisitive e-mail I sent requesting package pricing. They always responded quickly to e-mails and phone calls and were always willing to let me stop by anytime I wanted to meet in person. My fiancee would stop by approximately bi-weekly to drop off checks and they were just as kind to him as they were to me. They were so helpful in taking care of all the last minute things and they took so much stress off of me. They even helped diffuse some conflict between me and my mother. They were incredibly professional throughout the whole process and I just couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. Besides all that, the property is absolutely GORGEOUS. They helped make my vision come to life and I can't thank them enough. Please, everyone, go book them. You won't be sorry.

Loved this venue! The great thing about it is that they allow you to really personalize everything! We were able to choose our own caterer, cake, decorations, etc! The package includes a voucher to the nearby floral shop. I ordered buckets of flowers to make my own centerpieces, bouquets, etc and the people at the floral shop were also great to work with and helpful!

This venue was absolutely PERFECT for my wedding! It was everything and more than I could have ever asked for. The staff was amazing to work with leading up to the big day and even on the day! There was a huge RV left from a previous wedding that blocked right where we were going to walk down the aisle, and the staff worked super hard to get the people to come and get it and the RV was out within an hour! THEY ARE AMAZING! They brought my vision to life and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone and everyone!

We have used Smithview's Pavilion for the past two years for our junior high school's semi-formal dance. The venue is beautiful (our high school teachers who attend say it's better than their prom), and Lisa and the staff have been terrific to work with as they are very helpful and responsive. They are very accommodating to our needs, and the dances at Smithview the past two years have been the best that we've ever had. It is a terrific locale with an even better staff, and we look forward to booking Smithview every year!

The staff was extremely helpful even to the point of helping us set up for the event and cleaning up afterward. Anything we requested they provided for us. We could not have asked for anything more and because of the cooperation we received from the staff and the facility our first fund raising event was a complete success. Smithview is so great. They answered any questions I had, either that same day or within 24 hours. They are very professional and our wedding was a wonderful success. Thanks to the event planning they also offer, I was worry free through-out the entire process. The Pavilion provided a picture perfect setting for our fall wedding - the venue, the staff, everyone and everything was perfect. They were super flexible with me and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this venue, and already have, to other brides or people looking for a venue. Everything was taken care of, not one flaw - the packages were reasonable and the decorations & flowers were absolutely beautiful. Smithview made our day so special and we can not say "Thank You" enough for all they have done. To all at Smithview - you all are so amazing!

I did a lot of research on wedding venues before choosing Smithview Pavilion. The venue, service, included items (such as tables, chairs, linens), convenience (restrooms, parking, kitchen area), and beautiful scenery far excede those of other venues and Smithview is incredibly reasonably priced. My guests were amazed at the area and surprised because they have never even heard of the venue. I have been to weddings at places that cost far more than Smithview and were not near as beautiful and accommodating. I would highly recommend Smithview to anyone looking for a great outdoor wedding venue!

Beyond blessed with the experience we had with Smithview. They are locally owned, and truly care about the relationships they build with people. I enjoyed planning my wedding here, and it was one of the most gorgeous places I've ever seen!

A++ Perfect Event Venue!! They were very close to my cake bakers as well, Art of Cakes. Such a wonderful location and service. Absolutely loved everything.

I just hosted my best friends 40th birthday at the Life Event Center last night. It was perfect!!! Lisa was incredibly helpful during the planning... Patiently answering my millions of questions & Jerry the night of was wonderful & helpful! I would dedinitely recommend this venue for your next event!

Smithview was great! It was more than we could have asked for! Great price for the most beautiful venue in town! Lisa was also Excellent and was always there to answer questions and accommodate all our needs and requests!

They were super helpful. They were easy to contact and meet with whenever I needed. They met with me numerous times for just small things that I wanted to go over. They were always friendly and attentive. Everything turned out perfectly!

We had the most wonderful experience. The staff person that was on site was very helpful when we needed something. Though we had the venue until midnight, the staff person working the later shift seemed to be in a hurry to get us out even though there were still many people in the pavilion. Other than that we could not have asked for a better venue, a better staff, a better everything!

The staff was very helpful and flexible. We had a rain shower 30 minutes before the wedding, but thanks to the staff we were still able to pull off our dream day. Thank you!

This venue was an absolute dream come true! I never could have imagined a more beautiful and peaceful place to get married. Lisa and the staff are so accommodating and so helpful! They always answered my calls and e-mails quickly. The day of, they made sure everything was where it was supposed to be. The tables and chairs were set up before I even arrived. Throughout the entire night we received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was. Even afterwards, people still tell us they couldn't believe how perfect the wedding was! We had our first look on the natural bridge on the grounds, our ceremony in the cove and the reception under the pavilion, and we could not have been happier. I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married!

We had our reception and ceremony over at the pavilion and it was absolutely amazing. Everything was wonderful and I wouldn't change anything. Lisa and Fran (flower shop) did a great job in creating exactly what I wanted. The site was gorgeous and the staff was great at helping during the set-up. Highly recommend this venue to everyone. The prices are affordable and the venue is gorgeous and well groomed. Not to mention they recognized us for being the 200th wedding at the pavilion, which made our day even more special!

Such a great venue! Lisa was amazing along with other staff members. They were willing to work with me and and help me with whatever I needed. We recieved MANY compliments on how beautiful the pavillion was. I would definately reccommend the pavillion!

Such a pleasure to work with. Lisa was fantastic at answering my many questions and making ways that we could view the facility multiple times. The gentleman and his wife were such a help with setting up and clean up too. It was a great and stress free wedding day. :)

They are wonderful to work with! The facility is beautiful and offers unlimited options for the ceremony site. The rental price is very reasonable and includes almost everything. Lisa is a pleasure to work with and is very professional and accommodating. We were extremely pleased with our choice to have our wedding and reception there. We would recommend Smithview to anyone!

Great venue! I highly recommend it! I had my wedding in the pavilion. Lisa and the staff were accommodating (we had a large crowd) up to the day of. They helped us think of everything, from how to set up the chairs and tables for a large crowd to suggestions for the linens. The tables and chairs were set up on time. Everything was so nice!
