  Absolutely amazing

  Smilestones DJ services is by far the best DJ in the tri-state area. Kevin, the owner of Smilestones, is an exceptional professional who persistently ensures that he matches the vision of each event. I have had the pleasure of seeing Kevin DJ at other weddings and he came highly recommended to me by a friend, who utilized his services at her wedding. From the jump, my husband and I were extremely impressed by Kevin's personality and professionalism. Kevin was so flexible with our needs and ensured our wedding experience was perfection. We utilized his unique additional package to have a cellist during our ceremony and it was stunning. Kevin also sent us a highlight video "From the Booth" of the entire evening less than 24 hours after our wedding concluded. We eagerly recommend Smilestones for any DJ service needs!!

  Book him! Words cannot express how thankful we are for Smilestones DJ Service. If you're looking for a DJ, an uplifting event host, and a truly authentic professional for your event- look no further. Kevin is EVERYTHING! I'd give him more stars if I could. Planning a wedding during covid can be intense! I wish Kevin could have been the caterer, the venue, the everything. From the early stages of planning he took time to get to know us, even before we booked him. We like "off the beaten path music" and struggled to find a DJ that could accommodate our taste. We didn't want the same music you hear at EVERY wedding. We wanted a soundtrack to our life. We still talk about how it feels like Kevin pulled a playlist from our minds. He captured the songs we fell in love to, the songs we grew up to, and the songs that captured the mood of the day. Our plans changed a millions times between venue changes to guest list and Kevin walked us through it all with a giant smile. The day before our tented reception there was a huge storm and it collapsed our catering tent. During the ceremony the caterer showed up at the reception with no tent to unload in. Kevin went above and beyond to carry, move, and maneuver things so the show could go on. It was so seamless I didn't even know about it until the day after. During the planning process we said we didn't want to do a first dance. He respected our wishes but also offered to play a shortened version of a song we selected. I am so glad he did this. Our first dance was such a beautiful moment we wouldn't have had if he didn't encourage us. An added bonus was the video he made from the DJ booth! Our friends and family have watched it over and over again. It was so special to have parts of our reception captured and put together as he did. My parents were DJs for 10+ years and they absolutely loved him. He is worth so much more than he charges. His equipment is the best of the best. The sound quality sounds like you hired a live band it's so clear. His attitude is contagious. He is honestly is an overall amazing person. Book him! You won't regret it!

  Best Party EVER

  From the moment I inquired with Kevin to DJ our wedding he was professional, timely, and full of energy! We knew he would bring that energy to our wedding reception and he did not disappoint! Kevin cared a lot about our music preferences and seamlessly included our wide assortment of genres into the night. He also was professional in releasing tables to the buffet by going up to the tables personally which I appreciated because it didn’t interrupt the flow of people’s conversations like it would’ve if he had announced it over the microphone. His equipment was amazing quality and the party lights added so much fun. We also opted for the light up batons which was such a fun addition. As soon as dinner was done, people hit the dance floor and never left because DJ Kevin read the room, knew the vibe we wanted as the bride and groom, and delivered. It was the best party we’ve ever been to and I’m not just saying that because it was our own wedding- that can all be attributed to DJ Kevin! He also surprised us with a complimentary video of the party which was awesome, so that now we can relive that night over and over again! We recommend his services to anyone and everyone looking for a good time and a memorable event!

He chose a great selection of music that had people up dancing and even played through the end of the night when we were cleaning up. We would use him again as a DJ for sure! We have actually already talked about having him for an upcoming birthday party!
