  Smash blew us away at our wedding!

  We had this amazing strolling photo girl—she was drop-dead gorgeous and just so cool and different. Our guests were obsessed.
  
  Then during dinner, we did a surprise performance that added such an unexpected and fun touch—it was one of our favorite moments of the night.
  
  And the afterparty? Insane. We had LED dancers, mirror aerialists, the whole thing felt like a high-end club. Everyone was dancing, taking videos, and just having the best time.
  
  If you're looking for entertainment that's next-level and totally unforgettable, Smash is it. They crushed it from start to finish.

  Great Entertainment

  From the moment I contacted them, their staff were incredibly helpful in figuring out exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. I had a specific vision in mind, and they were able to not only understand it but also provide suggestions that made it even better.
  
  On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect.   We had the most wonderful entertainment. Amy is really a sweetheart, she listened to my ideas and offered me stuff I never knew existed. Champagne being poured from a chandelier, my guests were blown away! Roman lovers as living statue embracing and a show that only a video can describe..it was epic!

  They provided a living statue for my cocktail hour. He was amazing he absolutely looked like a statue and then he would move slightly. My guest were blown away. My cocktail hour lasted for an additional half hour he stayed the entire time and did not charge us any additional fee. He was perfect for the venue the wedding was held in a old mansion and he fit perfectly with decor...

  I bought entertainment from Amy Gottesman, CEO of Smash Party Entertainment. I found some negative reviews about Smash Party Entertainment online, but it seemed that those were extreme circumstances. I am here to tell you that those are quite believable now. It turns out that Amy promised that she would attend my event to make sure everything went smoothly, but she never did. When there were problems at the event, Amy was unreachable. Her excuse was that she only works until 5pm. Since most entertainment would be at night, that seems pretty ridiculous.   I bought entertainment from Amy Gottesman, CEO of Smash Party Entertainment. I found some negative reviews about Smash Party Entertainment online, but it seemed that those were extreme circumstances. I am here to tell you that those are quite believable now. It turns out that Amy promised that she would attend my event to make sure everything went smoothly, but she never did. When there were problems at the event, Amy was unreachable. Her excuse was that she only works until 5pm. Since most entertainment would be at night, that seems pretty ridiculous. As a result, I was left with entertainment that was late, and no one to reach at Smash. The entertainment I was giving as a gift turned out to be a disaster. After researching further, I found out that the twitter account that Amy uses that talks about all of these grand events - most have nothing to do with her or her company. She did not attend most of these events, she did not have most of these people as clients and she wasn’t an invited guest. Her account is very misleading as were our conversations.
  
  I found her to be extremely unprofessional and I’m embarrassed that the gift that I gave caused so many problems and Smash Party Entertainment had no interest in resolving the situation or taking any responsibility for the issues that I encountered. If you read her contract, it is completely ridiculous and basically says Smash Party Entertainment is responsible for nothing, so you have to pay even if no entertainment shows up. In addition, there is no place for her signature and she will never sign the contract on her end. Then when you leave her negative reviews on various sites, she knows all the tricks to get them removed. She is very aggressive and will threaten you will all sorts of things once something goes wrong. She has threatened legal action because of truthful negative reviews. So, ask yourself, is this really a person you want to get involved with and have to deal with all of these potential issues?

  I've had many events over the years and I must say that Smash Entertainment NYC is the worst I have encountered. They sent me a video of an example of what my entrance to my party would look like. That is what I expected when I paid $4500. They were to arrive before 4:15pm and didn't arrive until 7:20pm. They were over 3 hours late and as a result, I did not receive the entrance I paid for, since they weren't there when the entrance happened.

  Amy Gottesman called and left a message on my home phone hours after the entertainment was supposed to be there (when I obviously wasn't home because I was in the middle of an event). When they arrived over 3 hours late, we were told there would be no refunds by the entertainment.
  
  I expected at the end of the night to have a message from Smash Party Entertainment being very apologetic. Instead I heard nothing and when I called Amy the next day, she was argumentative.
  
  If you google this company, they have been accused of running an escort service.
  
  The bottom line is Smash Entertainment is only a middle man for entertainment. You can book all of these acts much cheaper by going directly to the act themselves. There is no advantage to going through Smash Entertainment since the “protection” of a company obviously doesn’t apply based on my experience. When a company’s owner, whose hired entertainment was 100% in the wrong, resorts to name calling instead of being apologetic and trying to resolve the issue – this is not the type of company I would recommend for anyone’s event. They don’t stand behind their contract and don’t try to resolve issues. Again, I could have saved thousands of dollars booking directly with the entertainers, just like you can and I would have been able to deal with them directly, likely avoiding the problems I encountered.
