  So yummy!

  Slows Bar BQ catered our wedding at the Grand Rapids Downtown Market and the food was AMAZING! We all went back for seconds and ate until we were borderline uncomfortably full because we just couldn’t help ourselves! Then, at the end of the night, all the leftovers were boxed up for us to take home and enjoy the next day. I’m still dreaming of their sweet potato mash, and our guests are still talking about how good all the food was!

  Delicious!

  The food was fantastic and we had guests talking about it days after the wedding. Working with the employees and coordinator was easy and everyone was very helpful! We were even able to accommodate our vegitarrian friends

  Slows was a hit!

  I was super surprised our wedding venue in Leroy MI hadn't heard of Slows haha, the bbq is famous here at the Detroit location. We had them cater to our big day at ResLes Farms wedding venue and as expected, it was a HIT. No food went to waste! They arrived on time and set up without a hitch. Perfect for a buffet style dinner.

  Amazing Food and Service

  Our food was incredible, and all of our guests raved about how delicious everything was. The staff at Slow's did wonderful job making sure everyone and everything were taken care of throughout the night. Kelsey was great to work with and coordination of the event went very smoothly.

  Our food was a huge hit which I don't think is common with wedding food and a major part of that was Slow's! They were so flexible, an amazing valuable and the food was incredible. They provided a late night snack of wings as well as great sliders and mac n cheese and our guests couldn't stop complimenting it. In addition, they did a bulk drop off to save us money. Truly a fantastic team and restaurant to work with. Highly recommend!! And need to say a special thanks to Kelsey for accommodating our last minute requests and making us feel at ease and in great hands. Thank you, Kelsey!

  Slow's was a wonderful restaurant to work with. Megan, from the events department, went above and beyond in her working with us. She meet several times to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and always with a smile. When communicating with her, Megan was always prompt in responding to my messages. Those in attendance at the reception raved about the food and they were very accommodating with special need diets. We would highly recommend Slow's to our friends and we will continue to dine at their location in the Downtown Market.

  We had Slow's host and cater our engagement party yesterday. The service was awesome and the food was perfect of course! Our host, Callie, even remembered everyones names and drink orders. Highly satisfied and would recommend anytime!

  Slow's in GR was the perfect choice for our wedding. Their staff was so professional and the food was out of this world. People are still talking about it today!

  Slows was amazing at our wedding! They were on top of everything and so kind to us and our guests as they refilled food and water and cleared our tables. We couldn't be happier with them, and any guests that hadn't already made a stop to one their restaurants now have plans to go because "oh, man... that food. SO good!" Can't recommend them enough!

  Slows Bar BQ of Grand Rapids - An awesome place with awesome food.!!! They catered our daughters wedding on 9/2/16 and we couldn't be more impressed or happier with the food, service, their staff and all of the above! Excellent job and excellent food; plenty to go around for everyone, quick, clean, efficient, prepared and ready to serve! Highly recommend them for your special events and we will definitely use them in the future again! Thank you so much Slows Bar BQ for making my daughters special wedding day everything we hoped for!.

  Really great people to work with, and really good food. Expensive, yes, but the staff on the day was incredible. They filled water glasses, cleared plates, and packed up all the left overs for us. We wanted a laid back sort of feel, and they definitely gave that to us plus taking away a lot of the stress and worry of setting up and taking down a buffet table. Plus the food is so, so good. The only thing I will say is that there was not a lot of options for my vegan/lactose intolerant friends.
