This venue is amazing and so affordable. It was elegant and not cheesy. Our families were so impressed. Both rooms have so much space. We used the Sunset Room and it was stunning. We didn't have to add any decor to the room it was perfect the way it came. The staff was incredibly helpful and the coordinator responded to my many emails within minutes every single time!! Our day would not have been the same without this venue.

This place is beautiful! This was actually one of my last great choices! But I am having a lot more guests than the ceremony can sit (they can sit 120) the price is great. They already have the chandeliers and they do set up and take down! That’s really cool also you can do what ever catering you want so that saves a bunch. Plus the view!! This place is gorgeous with a good price

We got married at Sleepy Ridge on 6/1/19! It was perfect! The staff was amazing to work with. We ended up having more people for the ceremony than expected they were flexible to add some more rows for us!

Sleepy Ridge Weddings are amazing! They made my wedding a dream come true. Beautiful banquet rooms, and grounds. Super nice and very helpful in ideas for the wedding. Highly recommend Sleepy Ridge! They had tons of options for everything and they made it beautiful.

I have had my wedding booked here for almost a year. I am so happy that is where we decided! Everyone that we have interacted with has been nothing but helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

The Sleepy Ridge Sunset room venue was perfect! The flowers and decorations were beautiful! The bride bouquet was stunning and exactly what my daughter wanted. The table decorations were gorgeous and just exactly like the photos my daughter showed the. The flowers on the cheesecakes and wood stands at varying heights set it off beautifully. People commented on how unique and beautiful it was instead of the traditional wedding cake. The bridesmaids bouquets, mothers flowers, grandmothers flowers, dads, groom's and groomsmen boutonnieres were perfect and looked amazing too! We got so many comments on the flowers and on how amazing the room looked and how simply elegant everything was. The mantle with the lit candles and twigs, the lit candles around the room and the arch were also beautiful and added to the whole feel of the room. I have the talent and creativity of Nanette to thank for that! Everything was amazing and incredibly gorgeous. The State Street Feed and Supply catered the reception and made the most mouth watering hot cobblers. The guests loved it and it was a fun and different item to serve. They were a delight to work with as well. And to help make sure the evening went smoothly, we had two event coordinators working with us. They were wonderful and helped make my daughter's dream wedding a reality. It was the perfect wedding reception and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a wonderful event!

The venue is a beautiful place to have a wedding ceremony or just a reception. The place is spacious and decorated beautifully. The staff helped out with the flow and made sure everything was perfect! I loved the venue location, price, and staff.

Sleepy Ridge has a very helpful, friendly, and personable staff that are willing to help you in any way possible! I absolutely loved working with them! And the venue is gorgeous - we had our ceremony outside on the rock patio while it was lightly raining, which just made the ceremony even more beautiful. Sleepy Ridge gave us the option of having it inside, of course, but we opted not to. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for an inexpensive but beautiful venue that makes your wedding planning easy!

We fell in love with Sleepy Ridge from the moment we stepped on property. The entire staff and friendly and helpful, and they are happy to answer any and all question! Our event hostess was so kind, and kept us on schedule. When our DJ didn't show up, and sent his assistant instead, they were happy to help the DJ figure things out and keep us calm! They helped us with anything we needed with a smile on their face! And the venue alone is STUNNING!! We didn't spend a lot of money on our float decor, and we didn't need too! The grounds are so beautiful, there are flowers everywhere and they smell so wonderful! We rented the garden room, and it was the perfect mix of an indoor/outdoor setting. We received so many compliments from everyone on our venue. Most of our guests are from Salt Lake, and so are my husband and I, so if you're worried about it being a long drive, I promise it's worth it. Sleepy Ridge was the best decision we made!

Not only is the venue actually STUNNING, but they definitely take care of you here as well! Our day went perfectly smooth and our coordinator was wonderful. The grounds are well maintained and there is plenty of room for some seriously beautiful photos. Thank you Sleepy Ridge for everything, we could not have picked a better place to have our special day!

Our wedding was beautiful because of the light and surroundings at Sleepy Ridge. They were great to work with and answered all of my questions. Our hostess was helpful to make sure we had everything we needed to set up and have a beautiful day.

Judy is amazing!! She was very connected to our wedding and very accommodating to all involved!! I loved the hostess! We had such an amazing day at the center! The pictures turned out awesome due to how beautiful the building is. There are not hidden fees from the venue. I truly feel as though everyone involved in the day working at sleepy ridge weddings made the day perfect!!

Such a gorgeous place to have the wedding reception. It was right on the golf course, added to the beauty of the day. They have everything there for you, we had rented the room for the night and went with them for our flowers. I would definitely do any type of event there. Loved it and the location and atmosphere!

Sleepy Ridge was amazing during the wedding process. So helpful and flexible and Judy was always so great at responding quickly. The venue on the wedding day was beautiful! Nannette York was amazing with the flowers and set up. Everything was just perfect and ran so smoothly. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you for a beautiful wedding day!!

Judy (front desk) was fantastic - perfect amount of professional and fun! I would go back just for a good laugh with her!

Nannette (wedding coordinator)- She was a wonderful bundle of everything I needed! Floral, decor, ideas, etc. I had a few ideas, but she was a much bigger thinker. A few of my ideas she had never heard of or done before, and sure enough, she pulled through! She made my whole wedding come alive! VERY flexible, VERY reliable, and VERY talented.

Quite honestly, the venue saved my night. It was beautiful and well put together, I just wished I picked my photographer as well as my venue.............

We used the reception room upstairs and Nannette York did our flowers. (She is one of their in-house florists.) When we showed up--it was just stunning. Loved it! Everything was beautiful and Sleepy Ridge was very responsive in our requests. Fairy tale day!

We had the most amazing time hosting our wedding at Sleepy Ridge. The best venue we could have chosen! My fiancé (now-husband hehe) are from Florida and knew we wanted a destination wedding from the moment we got engaged. The moment we stepped into the Sunset Room at Sleepy Ridge, we knew this was it and stopped looking elsewhere although we had several other venues to visit throughout the US. The reception room and ceremony site was absolutely gorgeous. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I truly could not be happier! I highly recommend Sleepy Ridge!

Not only is the venue extremely beautiful but it is one of the best prices I could find in Utah. The staff was extremely helpful and put my ceremony and reception together beautifully. I loved this place and would recommend them to anyone!

GREAT wedding choice. My bouquet and flower requests were beautifully interpreted and above and beyond what I'd hoped for. They were helpful and flexible with my different wedding and reception dates. I found a picture of the table flowers I liked on their website and the florist Nannette recreated them perfectly. We would recommend to anyone!

Sleepy Ridge had the best pricing and the best staff to work with. I live out of state but was easily able to work with Nannette to get everything set up and it was stress free! The room, the flowers, the centerpieces were all beautiful. I used State Street catering (the in-house caterers) and the food was amazing, I'm still getting compliments from friends and family.

Beautiful location with staff that is top-notch in responsiveness and attention to detail. They were super flexible and accommodating, we really loved working with them!

The only downside was the room was not big enough for the roughly 200 people who came.

Took care of our every wish, any last minute changes and made the day completely stress free for everyone involved. If you are thinking about booking--do it! You will not regret it.

Sleepy Ridge is the perfect venue to have your wedding at. Their staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Judy and her team go the extra mile to make sure you are ready and confident to have your dream wedding. The day of assistants are great at helping with the random details that you might forget about when planning.
The venue is super clean and it looks gorgeous. The view is stunning as well. The ceremony site outside on the patio is perfect for a mid-size ceremony and the sunset room upstairs can hold a ton of people.

What a beautiful place for a wedding and or reception. Sleepy Ridge Weddings offered us just what we needed. We made a few choices and they did the rest! Easy to work with, considerate of your budget, offering a lot to choose from and then doing all the work for you! We literally showed up and they did the rest. Beautiful decorations with great attention to details, floral, food, everything! No stress over set up, clean up, or serving food. This allowed us to focus on family, friends and all the memorable moments of the day. Couldn't have asked for more!

Sleepy Ridge is hands down the BEST place to have an in door, Utah reception with a beautiful outdoor scenery. There is nothing else like it! I am from California and it was initially difficult for me to plan a wedding from out of state but once we found Sleepy Ridge everything changed. Their staff is visionary, they include just about everything you can imagine in the packages they offer. We used State Street catering for our wedding. Their kitchen is actually at the same location as sleepy ridge so everything was fresh and warm! We had the wedding coordinator, Nanette do our flowers and it was SO easy since she was helping to plan the rest of our reception. Their prices really are very reasonable. My mom and I compared how much it would cost if we provided the table cloths and the food and we came up with just about the same prices that Sleepy Ridge costs. Besides getting married in the LDS Temple this was the best decision for our big day!

I loved this venue. They took care of EVERYTHING! And they made it look so beautiful. I would recommend it for sure.

I met with Nannette a few months before our wedding, and she was absolutely fantastic! The room they have upstairs was perfect for the amount of people we were expecting (around 500), and was in the perfect location. I was so happy when I learned that Nannette could help with practically everything that had to do with the reception, it made my life so much easier, and the planning so much less stressful! With the package that I wanted, they even paid for all of the catering that I would need for the night. It was perfect! We met a couple of times so that she could get to know exactly what I wanted, and the colors and flowers that I had in mind. She was so easy to talk to, and had so many awesome creative ideas! I didn’t have to worry about anything, and they day of I received my flowers, my bridesmaid’s flowers, and the boutonnieres, all of which were exactly what I had wanted and more! I walked into my reception and I was absolutely blown away. I’m pretty sure I teared up a little bit…it was exactly what I wanted and more! I could never have imagined how perfect it would be. The decorations, colors, and flowers were beyond perfect. I could not rave ENOUGH about how amazing it was! Nannette had executed exactly what I had asked for, and had gone the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. Since they’ve worked with my caterer before, the catering was set up and went without a hitch the whole night. The entire night went smoothly, and was exactly what I had always dreamed of. With the help of Nannette it was my perfect fairytale. I HIGHLY recommend her and Sleepy Ridge Weddings to anyone who wants their wedding to turn out exactly like they’ve always wanted. They really do make dreams come true.

I loved my venue, they were extremely helpful and were a big part of my planning process. I purchased a package with them so they provided me with all my flowers, linens, as well as gave me options for caterers. They are a little unflexible, because they only work with select caterers, but other than that I have no complaints, and I thought they were well priced for all that I received through their services.

I absolutely LOVED this venue! The building is gorgeous, and it has a beautiful view of the golf course, lake, and the mountains! The staff was extremely helpful and was there for us with any question or concern we had and they set up and took down everything! They made our day feel stress free and perfect! We would definitely recommend this venue to everyone!

The ONLY negative thing I have is that there was no one after the ceremony telling people where to walk to and I was under the impression that they would inform the wedding party to exit the ceremony after the bride and groom. Instead all of the guest began to stand up and walk out afterwards and no one knew where to go for the first 20 minutes which made our photo time drag out also had to search for people who had wandered off. Other than this hectic hour we had an amazing time and they were great with setting everything up and taking it down as well as informing me about the Bluetooth and the mic. The ladies helping were amazing and kind and very helpful

My husband and I got married at Sleepy Ridge in March. We chose the upstairs room for our wedding ceremony immediately followed by a luncheon. The staff was professional, helpful, and the venue was perfect! Looking back at pictures and remembering the day, we could not have picked a more perfect place for our special day. I highly recommend them - beautiful and the pricing was super competitive! Can't say enough nice things. The only reason I put professionalism down a bit was that they were transitioning and the person leaving was a bit checked out for our preparation meetings. However, on the day of, everything was seamless!!

They are very willing to work with you to make your special day exactly how you pictured it.

All and all we had a great experience ...the hostesses were fabulous, and the staff was very professional....the down stairs kitchen was small ...we did manage but space was limited..
We would recommend their facilities...we however wish that more amenities came with the rental.
But we really can't complain.

Sunset Room= PERFECTION!! Loved the whole experience and was able to get exactly what I envisioned for the wedding. Friendly staff and beautiful rooms. No Groomsmen room but access to restrooms was okay. Thank you Sleepy Ridge!

I LOVED this venue! I’m a cheapo and it can be on the higher end but if having a good venue is your thing, this is worth it. It was perfect. It was magical.

The staff were SUPER friendly and super supportive! We booked about 3-4 months in advance for a January wedding. For summer not sure if that’s good or if you need more time in advance? But that’s what we did. There’s two main rooms, and The larger room was taken but that was good because the smaller room was cheaper. It was PERFECT though because there was a wing attached and that’s where we put all the food! It gave us space for tables and dancing! There was an outside garden area with it but because mine was early Jan we just left it alone.

You can hang things from the walls and ceiling if the adhesives can come off without peeling paint. We used 3M and it worked like a charm! I hung a curtain of lights.

You have the option of setting up at 4pm or paying a little more and setting up at 11am depending on what you want to do with the room.

You can use their vendors or you can use your own. We rented our own tablecloths online and had our own catering.

The day of the wedding/reception, a staff member is a buddy to the bride or someone she assigns to help you stay on time for tasks. I loved it!

The brides room had a HUGE mirror and she can have it all to herself or use it as a stow for the wedding parties things. They may have forgotten—but they did t give us the keypad code so we had to leave it unlocked.

Downsides: downside was that you couldn’t use the kitchen to heat up food because the stove belongs to the golf course, not sleepy Ridge weddings. Which is a problem if you want to warm up food throughout the night.

Also we did the absolute cheapest option. No vendors from Sleepy Ridge, and our own table cloths. I felt like some of the options outside of the room were overpriced but we made it work!

Besides that it was perfect!

they really worked with us to make it what i wanted. the whole place is so beautiful. it also has great places to take pictures.

I loved Sleepy Ridge. They are seriously a stunning venue, I loved the outdoor indoor feel. They're absolutely stunning. I had my wedding reception in the Garden Room. Although we didn't do an all inclusive wedding with them, including the food and everything, they worked well with us. We were able to bring things earlier to set up and that helped a lot with the price. Venues everywhere are super pricey, but by doing it on a Thursday and finding our own food vendor that helped a lot. They were super quick to reply to all of my questions, and they were more than willing to help on any of our concerns. Three things that I liked the least were that the mosquitoes outside were horrible, dive bombing my guests, and that the sound with the microphone wasn't the best, it was also super duper hot inside, so I'd just be aware of that. We didn't really go outside much of the wedding day. It looked stunning though inside! I went with my own flower vendors, and did my food through BYU, and that did cost an extra amount of money but it worked out better for me. The venue looked great, the staff was helpful, and we had everything that we needed to have a super special day. I was grateful for my experience with Sleepy Ridge!

First and foremost, Nanette and Judy were really easy to work with when we were planning the wedding. I had a lot of fun being able to create my vision with Nanette. Now the day of the wedding everything looked beautiful and the process of the wedding was amazing. the only downfall was when the wedding was over they had one girl there to close up shop and she made my bridal party clean up and take out garbage to the dumpster in their bridal attire. For some reason I was under the impression that they set up and clean up after your event. Just make sure to be clear about this or else your family will be left to clean up. Other than that the wedding was amazing and it was exactly what I wanted. :)

Sleepy Ridge is a beautiful, romantic place for a wedding reception. The view from the Sunset Room was amazing. The hostess for our event was perfect. She kept things going and did everything so well. The florist (on site) did a beautiful job with the flowers and décor. The only qualms I had were that I was the one who asked to go over details a few days before the wedding. I was told there were several items I would need to bring a couple of days before the wedding. I was fine with that, but if I had not initiated the meeting, the reception would not have been as perfect. Also, the acoustics in this room need work. We had beautiful music playing, but it sounded echoey in some parts, and was difficult to hear at all in the front part of the room towards the fireplace. Other than that, it was a beautiful, perfect evening. I loved the sparkler send off! And the room really is magnificent!

Let me start by saying this place is absolutely amazing and was the perfect setting for my reception! The sunset room is already so simply elegant that there’s almost no need for extra decorations! The florist that works with them, Nanette York, is absolutely incredible! My colors were eggplant and lavender, and when we met to talk about color and style and everything, she was able to paint the vision for me and then executed it perfectly!! Kristin young helped me decide on layout and linens, and also did an amazing job. I had no idea where to start or what I was doing and she had so much flexibility with pricing, and really good suggestions!

That being said, the day of the reception wasn’t exactly perfect. My wonderful bridal party made it so I didn’t have to worry about a thing, but the hostess for the evening, Sara (I think that was her name), was not very helpful at all. There were a few important things that my cake lady (not from sleepy ridge) didn’t tell me I would need to bring (like a knife and server to cut the cake, and plates to serve it on), and when we asked the hostess if there were some we could use, she didn’t help at all! Turns out they don’t have anything to help out with emergency situations (that are inevitable, i mean come on, it’s a wedding) and aren’t at all willing to be flexible in that area. Thankfully, my wonderful caterers (marvellous catering) took it all upon themselves to save the day so we wouldn’t have to worry about any of it! So yay for marvellous caterers! But seriously Sleepy ridge? I get that it’s not your fault if I forget something, but you’d think they would be more prepared and willing to help out with things like this. And the other part about this is that when we needed her we couldn’t find the hostess! She was also the hostess for the reception happening in the downstairs room, so she wasn’t even totally available for us like she said she was.

So basically I love this place, but they also almost ruined my wedding.

We had a great experience at Sleepy Ridge. I do complain that when they met with me, they had someone giving me a tour and selling me on the venue who did not in fact work there. She worked for the catering company that Sleepy Ridge often goes thru. She was dishonest in the way she presented herself, almost manipulating us into using the catering company Sleepy Ridge uses, when in fact, she WAS the caterer, promoting herself. I have grief that Sleepy Ridge allowed someone who was not their employee to take us on a tour and talk details about the venue when she didn't work there. She had wrong information and it almost cost us an extra $2,000 the day before my wedding. Venue is beautiful and they do a lot for you, just make sure you know who you're talking to before getting too involved. Double check that EVERYONE is on the same page when it comes to pricing, and they don't send you a fat check that you don't deserve.

1. They had the bride pick out 2 different color linens. At the open house they told us 1 was for the table runner 1 was for the table cloth, and that they switch out linens one time (between the lunch and reception) but on the day of, there were no table runners, and they told us they don't switch out linens and they don't keep them on site so this can't be remedied. That is the main complaint. We had to pick the cleanest table cloths to use after the lunch in and we didn't have table runners.
2. They said they were training new people and that is why they wouldn't be switching out the linens. Like that is the fault of the person who booked the venue? Made no sense.
Those are the main complaints. It was very stressful to hear the stories change day of vs. an open house.

Leaves a lot to be desired! They gave us money back afterwards, it was THAT bad!

We certainly didn't expect everything to be perfect, but everything that went wrong were things that could have been avoided had there been good communication and had their staff made themselves available. Guest chairs were filthy and needed a good cleaning. I offered to clean them off myself if some wet towels were provided, but the hostess got busy talking with our photographer instead. Needless to say, the seating alone was embarrassing to us. The AUX cable crapped out DURING THE CEREMONY! The table/seating layout got messed up, yet was avoidable had communication been there. Our hostess was young, inexperienced, and extremely passive. She spent a good amount of the evening hiding away at the reception desk on her phone and people from our wedding party would have to go find her if something was needed. The 'packages' are rather confusing and seem to only make sense to them, not the bride and groom while planning, and a we had to seek a TON of clarification, especially when it came to the linens. Communication is poor and their staff seems to either be overwhelmed with the workload, or simply doesn't have their act together.

For the cost of using their venue and amount of weddings they book, they could, and should be doing a better job to ensure people get what they pay for. They should also be maintaining their equipment at the least, upgrading as needed. We hope this review will be helpful to Sleepy Ridge staff, and especially to other couples who are considering Sleepy Ridge as their wedding venue.

A few weeks before my wedding, I met with the planner, I was assured this meeting was so everything would go smoothly the day of. They told me there would be a “day of coordinator” there the whole day to assure that, I assumed that would be the main planner. It was not. This girl was SO rude. I’m STILL getting complaints from my GUESTS that the hostess was rude! My guests shouldn’t have been treated bad in anyway! SHE kept asking ME about stuff she was literally there to do. “How does the walk work? How does the ceremony work?” I DONT KNOW this is my first wedding, this is what you’re here for! Of all the TERRIBLE horrible things this girl did, the worst, is that there was another wedding going on upstairs, the family didn’t speak English as their primary language. After my send off, my sister and her Hispanic boyfriend went back in to make sure they didn’t forget anything and they heard the hostess talking bad about the “Mexican wedding upstairs and how dare they not speak English” that family paid a lot of money to have their dream wedding there, just like I did. It’s not fair that they were talked down on because of the language they speak. I couldn’t believe that the hostess still had energy to talk bad ok that family after harassing my guests all night. Terrible experience. Not worth the money.

We found this place surfing the internet, and decided to take a look. We loved the views and the decor of the venue. We signed a contract and put money down to hold the date. A few weeks later we came back in to start getting details put into place and they told us it was to early to start planning (Wedding was still 2 months out) and had us come back in 3 weeks before the wedding. We came in the day we were told, and no one was there. We tried to call the woman in charge of planning and left 3 messages, and did not hear back from her or anyone for the next 4 days. When she did call she told us we were late to the appointment so she left. We were there 15 minutes early. When we finally got to sit down and start the actual planning she kept telling us what we wanted wouldn't work for this reason or another. She showed us a picture of hanging lanterns and told us she could do it for $100, We put it on the bill. She later emailed me the complete bill and was trying to charge us $250 for them, we asked if we could buy the lanterns ourselves and hang them and she told us no, because they could be a fire hazard. We decided to do our own centerpieces as well, and they told us they wouldnt help us set up, or take anything down because they its not their responsibility. Bottom line, This place is a freaking joke. I would have went with a diffrent venue if we hadn't of signed the contract and put more than half the money down!

They were great to plan the wedding with and the building is gorgeous, BUT the day of the wedding was a disaster. They were not totally set up and the ceremony started 45 minutes late. They did not provide all the things they were suppose to. The wedding planner skipped out before the dinner and left a lady in charge who had no idea what the schedule or plans for the wedding were. They were short 15 -20 places for dinner. Started cleaning up before it was over so people started to leave. One of the most frustrating night of my life. I get sick thinking about it!!
